from what what I've heard the sakaguchi thing and aerith's death has nothing to do with his mother. The movie that , that rumor pertains to is actually the ff cgi movie souls within something like that? I forgot the title but it wasn't famous.
And tbh ff7 story writing isnt even good to begin with. Like are you serious right now? I'm still hoping to be proved wrong in this regards because I'm about to send them a link to niel gaiman's masterclass program.
FF x-2 had mixed reviews btw. Because it kinda took away what made ff10 special at the end.
And being that ff12 and ff14 are my favorites, you should try them out because good god they write such well written characters.
In the first place. If this girl was really meant to signify his mother, wth would he agree to write her into such a selfish bitch who only thinks about stalking and moving on? You had to drag her so she would just do her duty for christ sake. If this was someone who's supposed to be similar to his mom, wouldn't he be giving her more respect and importance? If so, sounds like to me toriyama has more power than him then. So is his loss really that big of a deal when you can't even feel he's there when he's still there?
And tbh, if there was a better example of "everlasting love" why not focus on everyone who died? Cloud doesn't even bring up his own mother like tifa does which is weird right? Especially if this is about his mother. That's why it's a shame why the "we'll see them there over the mountains" being fckd over by sena is irritating. And why the lack of bringing up and expanding on Zack and Claudia and everyone else like avalanche irritates me so. Like fr, why is jessie the only one that got brought up? Wedge and biggs were his friends too, The first friends he made on his own after zack and tifa.
I honestly don't know or care what sakaguchi's inspiration was. Even if he did mean it as a loose homage to his mother, the way it was written is ass. The creepy tunnel vision obsession with this two faced pink bitch just irritates me. They all lost people they knew and cared about for longer than her. Why is she being treated like the next JC? She wasn't even nice to anyone when she was alive. They're all fucking weird.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is garbage Part 2
And here's why
(7:57:47) Totally not inspired by Hbomberguy Note : this is a continuation of a repost of my twitter post with a few fixes here and there.
Chapter 4 : I'm a writer (Alan Wake, a writer)
Again, I really like what they did with the "timeline mixing". What I'm not a fan of are the TURKS. Already in Advent Children (the og one, not the Complete), I had TONS of problems seeing Reno & Rude hanging with Cloud and co. Like, "Hey, let's totally forget that you murdered thousands of civilians with the pillar including our friends Jessie, Biggs and Wedge ! ❤️". Advent Children Complete did acknowledge Reno & Rude still feeling that they can't be forgiven for what they have done and hope that someday they'll find a way for a redemption. It doesn't fix everything but it is still a massive improvement.
But in FF 7R ? Reno & Rude feel a bit guilt and then its ok, because Tseng says something "deep" (lol no). It's supposed to show that what Reno & Rude did actually hurt them and it is really troubling them. But nah, Tseng says "Well if you haven't done this, somebody else would've done it, so you helped someone, actually !". Yeah, fuck off Tseng. Reverse psychology my ass. Oh and speaking of the pillar.
Chapter 5 : La mu-si-que ! Oui, la musique !
When my brother played Secret of Mana for the first time with me, we let the game at the title screen for a moment because we saw many nice animations or story elements by just doing this in games like A Link To The Past or Link's Awakening. I was in awe with the Secret of Mana's title theme and the beautiful (yet very pixelated and compressed) artwork revealed (and the music goes even harder at that moment). So I did this too with FF 7 the first time I played it and got to hear the Prelude. And off course, when the music goes for the second part, I loved every bit of it.
When I was told that The Prelude was a very recurring theme in the series, I wanted to hear all versions of it. It's that important to me. I LOVE this theme. And while it's rendition in the remake is good, it's nowhere near the impact it had in the OG game.
And then there's the covers in FF 7 Remake. All around the maps, you can hear and purchase covers from the original game. And wether you purchase it or not, you are forced to hear it whenever you get close to where you can obtain the song. And they SUCK. They suck so badly. The Prelude cover is horrendous. It makes the FF X Prelude look like it's good ! None of the cover works aside for "Oh you hear ? It's that theme butchered from OG FF 7 !". But you know, it's just my opinion, people love it, I don't. But there's something I'm sure people agree.
The fall of the Sector 7 plate is a big emotional moment in the original game. Seeing the plate fall is showing that despite all your efforts, you failed. Your friends died and all of the citizens under the plate and on the plate died too. The CG animation in OG FF7 goes with no music, just a cold, silent, horrible depiction of thousands dying. And at the end, you see the Shinra President from behind, looking at the devastation from his window while listening to an opera music, the ONLY music you hear.
It shows how massively separated from the horror he is. He is listening to music. Outside his office, the sound of people dying is covered by explosions and then a terrible silence. This is incredible, especially for a 1997 videogame.
So off course the remake completely fucks this. In the remake, you get to hear, from start to finish, a rocky techno shit while thousands of people are dying and Wedge is supposedly crushed to death with his cats. WOW, DUDE ! And this time you actually see the President's face and he is smiling. But you don't hear the opera song.
Conclusion
The Nomurism are so full of their asses they can't even be bothered to respect "Show, don't tell". You don't have to see that he is smiling, you know it just by seeing him watching this with the opera music in the background ! It was more than enough to understand that he enjoyed what happened. What he ordered. What he did. Fuck this remake.
The same exact thing happened with Crisis Core's depiction of Zack's death versus Zack's death in OG FF 7. The exact same thing. A totally Overdrive-Nomurism Cosmo Nevismitical moment, if you will. The man can't help but make overtly complicated stories, UI, menus with pompous terms, pretentious writing (oh look, people are playing chess in KH, wow, so original) and it's not helped when his buddy from FF XIII is giving 80% of the lore and plot in the Codex you have to read instead of, you know, SHOWING IT.
Advent Children was the moment I gave up on Nomura and also made me stop watching shonens because I felt like they were all doing the exact same thing (oh, a tsundere, oh a geek, oh a woman with massive breasts, oh a pervert, oh a weird man with opaque glasses reajusting it all the time and saying "Fufufu" like a creep).
So for all of this, I didn't liked FF 7 Remake, a game I did twice (Steam & PS5).
Final note : Look at the pretty keys ! / 10

hi! can you do Biggs taking care of a sick s/o please?
Hey there! Thank you so much for your request, I really enjoyed writing for Biggs again. :) Hope these headcanons are to your liking! Have a great day/night and stay safe.
Biggs x gn!reader – taking care of you when you’re sick (HCs)
Biggs is definitely a really considerate and caring boyfriend, so don’t even try to talk him out of taking care of you because he won’t listen to you anyway. To him, it’s a given to take care of a loved one when they’re not feeling well, so he won’t accept any contradictions from you.
He makes sure that you get enough rest. Sleep is important and as long as you’re sick, he insists that you stay in bed and rest. There’s no way he lets you go out to help Avalanche with their missions or anything like that. The only compromise he’s willing to make is to let you rest on the couch instead as a change of scenery – but only if you promise him to stay right there and not try to sneak out of the house.
Biggs isn’t the most talented cook but he sure as hell tries his best. He brings you lots and lots of tea and home-made soup to warm you up and to soothe your sore throat. Also, if you need some meds he tries everything in his power to get them for you because he wants you to get better as soon as possible. He also gets a huge amount of tissues and cough sweets, just in case you might need them.
He insists to keep you company and also cuddles you even more often than usual to cheer you up, especially since he wants you to know that you’re not alone. He also doesn’t mind spending the day in bed with you and keep you company but if you’d rather be alone for a while, Biggs will accept that too.
If you start to feel cold, Biggs can and will bury your body under two or three blankets. Staying warm is important and if the blankets don’t help, he won’t hesitate to lie down next to you and hold you close to warm you up. He couldn’t care less that you could pass on your cold to him, so he also kisses the reddened tip of your nose or your slightly chapped lips every so often to comfort you.
Thank you for reading! If you enjoyed it please consider reblogging. I'd really appreciate the support. <3

FF VII - Reno Headcanons | #5
ANON (1): Hey, I’ve your NSFW alphabet and I would loooooove a swf one with Zack and Biggs, and some NSFW with Reno, Rufus, I’m in dire need ot it! Send ya a lot of love!
ANON (2): I’d love an NSFW alphabet for Rufus or Reno too? Thanks!!
ANON (3): NSFW alphabet for Reno FF7 please
A/N: Another NSFW alphabet done, hope you enjoy!!
WARNING: NSFW
A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
When the two of you finally regain your lost breath, Reno is all for taking the time to settle your heartbeats with a little cuddling. Soft kisses on your shoulders, the nuzzle of his nose in your hair, whispers of romance escaping his lips. He’s the one whispering I love you as the two of you drift off into sleep in the wee hours of the morning.
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
Reno’s personal favorite body part is his own tongue/mouth. He’s got a silver-tongue that loves to leave wet trails all over your body. Devilish kisses, whispering words in your skin, talking dirty to you as he removes your clothing. Favorite way to start the night off when you both have free time.
But his favorite body part on you has to be the dimples/small of your back. Can easily fit his hands around your waist, fitting his thumbs right in the crevice if he’s facing your back. Perfect size as if you were made just for him.
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically… I’m a disgusting person)
Reno, much like the other Turks, are usually educated in the idea of safe sex. So condoms, pills, self-discipline (mostly) are engraved in their minds. So he’ll cum right in the condom without a second to think about it. But if he happens to not be wearing one, Reno may or may not become a future father. He has little self-control right before he climaxes, so he’ll fill you up with a thick, white pool of cum right inside if the two of you haven’t taken any precautions.
D = Dirty Secret (Pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
Reno relishes in the taste of you. As I previously said, his tongue is his weapon, so when he’s performing the act of torturous oral on your clit, the sweet taste you give off, he’s a big fan of it. He always knows when you eat something sweet earlier in the day.
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
Reno has had a few mind-blowing experiences. Most of it hold no feeling, just a way to relieve stress and have fun when he’s off of work. So when he’s in a relationship, sometimes you have to remind him to take things slow, make things more passionate for the two of you.
F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying. Will probably include a visual)
(No visual) His favorite position is having one of your legs propped above his shoulder (if you’re flexible enough to pull it off). Knowing your leg is right next to his head, where he can lick your calf as he inserts himself into you, maybe even give a little nip of his teeth right upon your skin.
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc)
Reno is a goofy guy outside the bedroom. Always brightening up the mood, especially with stoic partner Rude. So his personality doesn’t change in more intimate moments. He’ll chuckle with you in the most awkward of moments. If something isn’t as smooth as he’d like, such as a pick up line or a kiss, he’ll apologize with a laugh, cheeks as red as his hair. He tries to be suave, but sometimes it doesn’t work in his favor.
H = Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)
The carpets do indeed match the drapes. He’s not much for upkeep either. It’s trimmed, but in no way groomed as some would think. It’s a waste of time in his personal opinion.
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)
Reno lets his emotions run the show when he’s pushed over the edge. He wants you to feel as good as him. Equally enjoying the pleasure as you ride him, or licks your inner thigh with that silver tongue of his. Yet, he tries to be romantic when the time comes. It’s not always one his mind, but he sometimes brings in the soft glow of candles or the petals of roses lining your bed. Cliche, but he tends to find those cheesy moments the best in the relationship.
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
Like most men, Reno can’t resist the urge to let himself go once in a while. It’s not all the time, and only when he’s been single or alone for too long does he take the moment to release. If he’s in a relationship he’s getting the fix for his sexual desires from you.
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)
Reno isn’t into kinks. Plain and simple. If you however decide to spice up the bedroom one way or another, he won’t mind. Whether it involves ropes, toys, denial of some form, if you want it, he’ll try to think something up. Perhaps he might even enjoy it if it makes you cum like no other.
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do)
He’s up for anywhere if you’re both wanting to dive into the act. Over tables, desks, closets, he’s fine withholding your legs up, pushing you against the walls as he screws you endlessly. Sure the bedroom has the comfort of sheets, but there’s always a little fun while he grinds you in a near-public place.
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
He’s traditional. He sees you in lingerie, it’s a major turn-on. He likes to dirty talk more than the other men, but when he hears you whispering in his ear about what you want to do to him, he’s immediately interested. The smirk playing on his lips as you tell him how you want to touch him.
N = NO (Something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
There isn’t much Reno wouldn’t do. If there’s a thrill, a shot of making the two of you go over the edge in a million different ways, he’s up for the idea. As long as everyone is on the same page and consent is understandable, he’s all ready for you.
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc)
Reno is the type that follows the rule give and you shall receive. He’s all up for giving you the best type of tongue flicks and fingering as long as you can pay it back. His dick deep in your throat, watching you take his load in one full swallow, if you can, it’s seriously the biggest turn on for him.
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.)
Reno tends to be more rough and quick. Using every trick in his book to make you feel good. He believes the fast-paced movements make for more of a pleasurable experience, but he’ll go slow if you ask. It’s not his usual style, but he’ll try to make the whole experience memorable and pleasurable for the two of you.
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.)
He’s all up for quickies. Quick trips to the restroom? To an unoccupied office? Taking a “lunch” at home together? He’s all ready to take a twenty-minute break fucking you into next week’s timeline.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
Reno lives right on the edge most of the time. If there’s a chance Rufus, Rude or Tseng could walk in on the two of you, while he’s fingering you on an empty desk, he’s willing to take the shot. He thinks having others hear you moan is also a big turn on.
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last…)
Reno’s quick-paced nature can usually end abruptly. But give a few minutes, the second round of dirty talking and kissing, he’ll be all ready to give you round two, perhaps three in a single night. You covered in his cum might be a fantasy of his, but he’ll never share that secret.
T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
As I said, he’s interested in nearly everything if the two of you are on board. If you so wanted to try a vibrator on yourself, or perhaps, even use it on him, he’ll love to see what you can do with it. How much can you quiver, how much can he tremble? He might even go as far as making a game of it.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
He’s not much for a tease, but he’ll go slow until the two of you are right on the edge. He read once edging makes a much fuller orgasm, and ever since, he’s been a huge fan.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
Reno is loud. The type that would dirty talk before, during, and especially near the end. He’ll ask you to cum for him while he’s fingering you, whisper the most vulgar things in your ear as he’s on the brink. He’s usually a bit quiet right at the start, but when both your bodies are feeling all the nerves running wild, his voice would be ever so present.
W = Wild Card (Get a random headcanon for the character of your choice)
Reno is open to nearly all things in the bedroom. He’s a bit of a wild card himself, so if you bring up a bedroom game or a roleplay idea, he might be up for it. Want to bring in cute and sexy costumes, he’s ready for it. Toys? Hell yeah. Tying you up if you asked? He might get confused on the rope work, but he’ll do his best and try to make you cum like you’ve never cummed before.
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words)
Reno is proudly sporting a six-inch penis, erected a good six and a half. It’s not enough to bruise your cervix, which is a plus, but nicely curved and thick enough to stretch your walls in just the right way.
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
High. Reno is always up for sex if you ask. He’s not a sex addict, but his high-upbeat nature is always ready for the next move to release his pent up frustration or energy. Sex just happens to be one of the better ways to release it and no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than spending a little quality time with you.
Z = ZZZ (… how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
Reno slips into unconsciousness pretty quick. Once that energy has been wiped out, he finds himself slipping into sleep much faster than usual. But he’ll always find a way to touch you as you fall asleep. Thumb on your cheek, his fingers gently grasping your wrist, perhaps his whole arm wrapped around your waist, either way, a light smile will form on his face as the two of you drift away.

Have you heard about PFA and MFA?
or the full name is ‘Psychological First Aid’ (PFA) and ‘Mental Health First Aid’ (MFA)
Can we relate it with Cloud Strife? As we all know, Cloud had mental illness and was struggling alone. Let’s take a quick look on this topic then and see if characters in FF7 ever give PFA/MFA to Cloud or to each other. This is going to be a looooong post although I tried to simplified it, so, yeah. Good luck reading this !
Disclaimer : I’m not a psychologist. I’m still a student and psych is not my major field. During my intern, other than we got exposed a lot about psychiatric disorders and ways to deal with them, we also got trained psychological first aid in emergency department. If it wasnt because of this quarantine, i would have finished my training in emergency field. There might be false interpretation here or there, forgive me for that and pls correct any mistake in this post
This will probably trigger LTD. Sorry, but I had to, Pls read this post with open mind. Keep in mind I like both Tifa and Aerith, i have no grudges agaisnt Barret, Vincent, Nanaki or Cid so I am not being bias with any of them. I forgot a lot of stuff in OG (I played it when I was really really small), so I will be using lots FF7R and AC references here (and a bit from OG, depends whatever I remember)
Good to go? Allow me to rant. Read it slowly and if u skip some of it, u’ll probably mislead my actual words, and u’ll be triggered af. Don’t come at me with madness if u dont read the whole post properly
What is PFA and MFA? Generally speaking, if Basic First Aid is about covering the wound to prevent further bleeding, then PFA (Psychological First Aid) and MFA (Mental Health First Aid) is like applying a bandage on ur mental to avoid u continue being distress.
Usually, PFA is often associated with disaster event or terrorism, where large number of people got affected. Meanwhile, MFA focus in one person who is developing mental health prob or already in mental crisis due to certain traumas, such as vehicle accident, house burned and etc
Pls note that, certain people NEED MFA while the others may NOT NEED it. It is important to respect their needs/wants. Some victims may refuse verbally but they ACTUALLY NEED it (CLOUD STRIFE) and maybe some victims look like they dont need it, but they want it, and its super fine to give it
PFA/MFA not only done by the professionals and it is not a professional counselling, although necessarily training is needed if u want to approach deeper in this field. PFA/MFA is also not a psychological ‘debriefing’ - in which MFA/PFA doesnt need to involve a detailed discussion of the trauma event with the victim, but instead, it is an alternative way to psychological debriefing that helps for long-term recovery. (unless if ure a pscyhiatrist, then u have to forget about MFA and ask detailed questions regarding the events to help the patient to recover)
MFA and PFA both almost the same, but I will mention more about MFA here.
MFA (Mental Health First Aid) is not just about comforting “Oh, are u alright. I’m sorry for what u’ve been through”, but it is also about assessing their needs and concerns, protecting them from harm, provide practical support and support them feeling able to help themselves and others.
The main key for these two term is RESPECT - respect victim’s dignity, respect both parties safety and respect victim’s rights to make decision. Even without the PFA, we should respect these three in whatever circumstance we are in.
A lot of us honestly were born with natural skill of MFA bcause of our own empathy, instinct or experiences and some got trained professionally. Some of them already had MFA due to high common senses they have.
Some of the Do’s and Dont’s when giving MFA include;
Do’s : 1. Be trustworthy | 2. Respect their decision | 3. Be aware of and set aside ur bias | 4. Make it clear to them u are available for help even they push u away | 5. Respect their privacy and personal space | 6. Do remain calm and soft when the person in distress | 7. Listen and don’t interrupt their talking | 8. Help in terms of basic needs | 9. Create connection the person with others | 10. Give hope to them | 11. Provide private place to talk about the event | 12. Respect their strenght | 13. Advice small necessary matters or give simple words of encouragement | 14. Acknowledge positive features of what victims have done
Dont’s : 1. Rush in whatever the thing theyre doing with u | 2. Be dismissive | 3. Make promises u know can’t keep | 3. Ask anything in return for helping them | 4. Exaggerate ur skills | 5. Force help on people, being pushy | 6. Pressure them to tell their story | 7. Judge that person | 8. Put the person in risk of harm as result of ur actions | 8. Force them to accept ur idea/Listening to ur rant | 9. Talk rough | 10. Being bias with the people | 11. Touching that person too much | 12. Talk with the person in negative terms | 13. Abandon the person’s feeling
To simplify, there are 3 ways for MFA to begin, and I will only talk about one of them, the one that is the hardest to do, that is when u notice someone looks distressed and ure concern about them, and leading u to approach them first without them noticing ur concern. [Am I putting the right words here?]
In Cloud’s case, who do u think the first noticed Cloud behaved oddly and went to help him first ? - yeah Tifa. U probably would say “OFC she went to help him, she met him first at the train station. That guy looked sick af, who wouldnt ask if he was alright. If Aerith/Yuffie/Jessie met him first, they would do the same”. Okay guys, that was not my point.
Let’s focus one by one characters and see what Do’s and Dont’s MFA (Mental Health First Aid) they’ve done to Cloud and other charas. Keep in mind, none of them know what Cloud had gone through, but Cloud had showed some obvious sign he was unwell and only a few of them noticed that and took action for it.
The symbol [X] means the Dont’s in MFA and ( ✔) means the Do’s in MFA.
Biggs Jessie Wedge -
I know there’s a thing about man helping man’s psychology and Jessie being flirty with a guy. They [X] thought Cloud was like how they saw Cloud. and they considered it as normal. They didnt see Cloud under distress so they dont have the need to concern his mental status. The good thing about them was, the three of them (✔) respect Cloud’s strenght, giving Cloud the confident to be in action. But, Jessie [X] had zero respect on Cloud’s personal space
I wanna highlight about Biggs. Biggs had an attitude of overthinking stuff, but it wasnt so bad that would cause him harm, he just cared too much about his friends. So I believe Biggs was the type that would notice immediately when his friend being strange and would give MFA (Mental Health First Aid) with his own instinct even without the person asking it.
During the Sector 7 Plate attack, where Biggs was severely injured, when Cloud said he was not a fan of kids and Biggs said Cloud had so much in common (in common of what? Cloud with the kids or Cloud with him?), Cloud gave him ‘a sad look’ and Biggs reached out his hand to Cloud’s head. Biggs (✔) remain calm and soft when dealing with Cloud’s feeling (who faced traumatic event but Biggs didnt know about it) on that moment despite his current physical status. And also he (✔) wished goodluck to Cloud, leading to prevention distress on Cloud
Marle -
Marle [X] judged Cloud for someone who had no skills, but she entrusted Cloud to take care of Tifa’s well being. Not knowing who Cloud was, Marle noticed Cloud looked glum, she (✔) offered her ear for Cloud to rant and knew right away he was not having enough sleep, then (✔) advising him to sleep more . Lol, she was [X] biased with Cloud and Tifa. Not her fault, she only knew Tifa’s story, not Cloud’s. After the Sector 7 plate fall, we saw her being the most active member to help with the remaining citizens there. Marle without a doubt had given the citizens there PFA (Psychological First Aid) , by helping them with their (✔) basic needs, (✔) create connections, (✔) put away bias, (✔) remain calm and soft.
Barret Wallace -
Barret was the same like Biggs Jessie Wedge. I’m sure Barret thought Cloud was just fine. Barret saw Cloud as a mercenary with stinky attitude,[X] judging him like that causing Barret to gave him the same attitude too. But overall, he (✔) respected Cloud’s strength a lot
However, after the Sector 7 plate fall, Tifa and Barret were the one that hurt (mentally) the most, Tifa as usual locking her emotions, there we could see how Barret comforting Tifa by (✔) giving words of encouragement and proceed on (✔) hugging her to show his empathy. Barret also (✔) remain calm and soft spoken when talking to the survival victims of Sector 7 citizens. He also (✔) acknowledged what the citizens had done to survive
Vincent Valentine -
Don’t be surprise Vincent was listed here. This guy here was like another version of Cloud but more mature. In addiction, they both kinda share the same pain. So, I personally think Vincent understands Cloud pretty well. In AC, where Cloud was mentally ill, Vincent saved Cloud from Kadaj and brothers and (✔) took him to safer place. That was a common thing to do. But let’s go deeper, Cloud never told him about himself, but Vincent already (✔) aware of Cloud’s trouble with the geostigma stuff and Cloud’s current mental status. Vincent, (✔) calm and soft like always (✔) didnt hesitate to asked if all of these were just about ‘fighting’ and it made Cloud to ‘re-think’ further about his problem. He (✔) didnt pressure Cloud here, instead he was (✔) helping Cloud to understand the condition he was facing, and this lead Cloud to avoid distress.
Aerith Gainsborough -
I know Aerith was special. She was an important character and devs created her to be ‘loved’ by the fans so that her death would be tragic. Aerith did almost all the things that shouldnt be done when giving MFA to mentally ill person. Some of u may say “Duh, Aerith didnt know anything about Cloud thus she had no intentions of giving him MFA”. Yup, ure right. Aerith didnt know about Cloud’s mental status but so as all the other characters in the series.
Aerith was [X] being pushy with Cloud, in lots of ways, from making him as a bodyguard for free to forcing him to wear a dress. She [X] forced Cloud to accept her idea about meeting Andrea, dance and gown. She also [X] forced Cloud to help picking the flowers. Aerith [X] didn’t let Cloud to have his own decision [X] neither giving him a chance to talk, and [X] abandon his feelings (cough..uhm, Aerith resolution). She also had [X] no respect on Cloud’s personal space and [X] too much touching and leaning to him. Aerith also [X] put herself in danger and that worried Cloud. She [X] looked down on Cloud in someways too
However, at the Sector 5 slum, where the hooded man appeared, Aerith noticed Cloud was having trouble with himself, she (✔) encouraged Cloud to keep himself together. Also, throughout the entire game, Aerith always remind the team to (✔) have hope in everything. Her positive vibrant attitude was what (✔) made everyone able to believe in themselves. She also (✔) ensure Marlene’s safety and protected her. She was able to (✔) remain soft and calm when approaching Marlene. Remember Betty? Aerith took her time to helped her out and she even (✔) respected the little girl’s strength, (✔)slow and steady when saving her and (✔)soft spoken
Tifa Lockhart -
Tifa met Cloud at the train station, saw him being ‘not-so-fine’ state despite Cloud claiming he was completely okay. Tifa didn’t know what Cloud had gone through and she (✔) didn’t pressure him to talk about it. She even helped him to (✔) find a place to sleep even when Cloud never asked for it. Tifa unconsciously was the first person to give Cloud MFA without knowing what Cloud had faced previously. And Cloud, on that moment, he really needed a help. Tifa also (✔) stated that if Cloud need anything, she would help him with it
Tifa (✔) remain calm everytime Cloud had sudden headache, she didn’t leave him alone and (✔) didnt put any pressure on him by asking question. During the (✔) Alone At Last, they had privacy Tifa asked about what happened after he left Nibelheim. She (✔) listened and didnt interrupt him, (✔) neither pushing him to talk more. Moreover, Tifa (✔) put a distance with Cloud, dunno if she was the one who was being uncomfortable or she actually (✔) respect Cloud’s personal space and privacy. Tifa (✔) didn’t force him to stay at Midgar, she asked him and was glad Cloud would stay for a while. Tifa was no doubt (✔) respect all Cloud’s decisions too. Also, don’t forget, Tifa also helped Cloud to help (✔) make ‘close connection’ with the Avalanche members and people in Sector 7 slums. She also (✔) didn’t do much touching with Cloud (Well, I mean, she didnt touch him in clingy way)
In AC, Tifa (✔) encouraged Cloud to have hope for Geostigma and the family
Tifa did [X] put herself in danger by becoming Corneos bride participant and that gave Cloud trouble (but Tifa ensured him she would be fine on her own previously) And btw, in OG, I read about the fans questioning why Tifa [X] didnt tell Cloud the truth. I would like to argue this matter. TIFA IS A CHARACTER WITH REAL HUMAN FLAWS, she too had her own traumatic event and was not really sure of herself on what to do. However, considering what Tifa had done for him, Tifa had helped with Cloud’s psychology the most.
I know Cloud was putting up a font, and that made him to have condescending attitude, and people couldnt see what Cloud was hiding behind the the bravery face. However, all of us as fans acknowledged the pain Cloud was suffering in the entire FF7 story. Some of the characters like Tifa, Marle, Vincent, Biggs noticed it and they took actions for it, while others, I do personally thing, they were hurting the Real Cloud’s mentality more.
Long story short, Tifa was the one who gave mental health support the most to Cloud, followed by Vincent (AC), Biggs and Marle. Aerith did the worst with Real Cloud's mentality + she then died, mking Cloud be more miserable,
However, Aerith actually had the best way to give MFA/PFA to children, but maybe the worst to Cloud. While Tifa gave the best MFA to Cloud which helped him to get himself together through out the entire time
Alright thats the end of my talk. Thank you for being with meee

What are you most excited about for the FF7 remake part 2?
(credit to Rosi Kämpe (@toherrys) for this gorgeous piece of art)
I WANNA SEE AERITH x TIFA romance options yo
More serious things I want to see after the break - FF7R spoilers ahead!
I’m excited to see how different the storyline will be compared to OG FF7. They made a big deal at the end of FF7R about how they literally defeated fate and are free to write a new future/story, so it would be a shame if they did a beat-for-beat retread of the rest of the storyline with minimal changes.
I’m aware that the developers have said they want to stick relatively close to the original storyline, but why would they go through all that trouble of introducing the Whispers and a last battle where you’re literally fighting fate itself if they’re not going to make changes?
If I had to guess as to what changes they’d make, I think they might change the way/time Aerith dies. I know I said in the last ask that they might change who dies (and I think that’s still possible - prime candidate being Tifa) but I think it’s more likely that Aerith will still die as her death is important for the storyline (she needs to be in the lifestream in order to summon the lifestream to aid Holy). So she still dies, but maybe later in the story when it’s unexpected. Maybe she dies at the very end when the party realizes they need Holy and the lifestream to stop Meteor. Maybe she willingly sacrifices herself to make it happen. We’ll see!
I also want to see what role “dead” characters (Zack, Biggs, Jessie, and Wedge being the big ones) play. I feel like the party will run into (amnesiac?) Jessie again at the Gold Saucer - they made a big deal about her being an actress. I’m excited to see how Zack being alive (in the past/alternate universe) will affect Cloud, and how he will tie into the main storyline.
I also want to play Gold Saucer minigames :)

Hi, I hope you are doing well! I discovered your writings recently and I love it! It makes me want to write again (it's been a long time ...) Can I request an HC or a shot with Reno and Biggs having a threesome? What do they prefer? Two girls, two boys, a boy and a girl? Accessories ? Favorite positions? Would they make it to the end?thank you very much, kiss
Hey! Thank you so much, and definitely write again! would love to read some of your stuff (especially if its ff7!) x
Here’s some Threesome HC’s
Biggs:
It’s not something he’s actively wanted, but when the time arises he’s not going to turn it down.
He would prefer two girls.
He’s not one for accessories as such, would require planning and it would be a more spur of the moment thing.
His favorite position would be to have one girl riding him and the other sitting on his face
He would definitely make sure they both finish before him
Reno:
He wouldn’t mind if it was two girls or a boy and a girl.
Wouldn’t mind incorporating some handcuffs into the fun.
It is was two girls he would want to be taking one from behind as she ate out the other. If it’s a boy and a girl he likes a good spit roast
He will usually make it to the end, but he’s not overly fussed if he doesn’t. He figures the other two can finish each other off. He won't hang about when he’s done.

💞 {here to interrupt your vacation~ }
Send 💞 to ask Mun their Shipping Properties! They will answer all below!
What’s your OTP for your Muse?
I usually have several OTPs because I’m notoriously indecisive and very bad at picking absolute favorites, but I’ll give you my current fave ships for all my muses :)
Zack x Cloud (but I also really love Zack x Aerith and Zack x Cissnei and Zack x Seph adfjksdf) Sephiroth x Cloud because sometimes I’m mainstream like that, and Seph x Aerith because you’re a gremlin, Pan Johnny x Common Sense Kadaj x Cloud Biggs x ??? I don’t really have a lot of ships for Biggs (yet) but I do enjoy shipping him with @hautevaux quite a lot! Rufus x Tseng or Rufus x Heidegger ( @dogof-war ), sue me Roche x Cloud but also Roche x @stingslikeabee because Mari/Mel is pure perfection and this ship hurts my soul Rude x Reno
What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?
I mean. Anything? Mostly anything? My favorite part about shippy rps is, hands down, when they’re not together yet. The pining phase and the getting-together. I live for that shit. I don’t mind established things but they’re less thrilling, imo. I also love angsty stuff. Enemies falling in love, lovers becoming enemies, betrayals, star-crossed lovers, all that jazz. My least favorite thing to write is established fluff especially if it involves family planning. Babies aren’t really my thing and to me these threads get boring fast. I’ll take an angsty love story during the zombie apocalypse over a positive preg/nancy test any day. I don’t hate these threads! But if I have a choice..
How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?
I mean. I can handle some pretty big age gaps. I’m talking humans now, because vampires & co are a different story altogether. I don’t know. It more depends on how old they both are than how big the age gap is. Like, my Rufus and Han’s Heidegger are some 30 years apart and I don’t find it uncomfortable. (Heid seems to find it uncomfortable sometimes, Rufus doesn’t.) What I want is that everyone is over 18 and knowing what they’re getting into. After that it really more depends on how mentally & emotionally mature the characters are and how their story goes. But I guess an age gap of 50+ years would be a little odd. Idk, I’ve never written something so big outside of supernaturally aging characters.
Are you selective when shipping?
Yes. First of all, I don’t like all ships that exist. Secondly, I can only ship with people who see a ship roughly the same way as I do. And the characters. If someone writes a (canon) character in a way that isn’t at all compatible with the way I see this character then I won’t ship with them. Or if they want something from my character that I cannot provide, because my portrayal of my muse differs from their ideas about my characters.
I am pretty open to most ships, though. In the past I’ve been convinced of ships I never thought of before! Just ask me if you’d like to ship, I don’t judge ships. Worst case I’ll say no thank.
How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?
I guess as soon as there’s a certain extent of nudity, or mentions of getting aroused. A clear intention of something leading to se/x. I wouldn’t tag nsfw if someone was just kissing, but if they’re groping or rolling around in bed, I probably would.
At the same time, like. Don’t be on tumblr at work if your boss is around 😂
Who are other Muses you ship your Muse with?
Zack: Genesis, Tifa, Angeal, Tseng Sephiroth: Genesis, Angeal Johnny: 👀 Rufus: Reno 💖, Reeve, Genesis 💙 (trust me, it works and it’s adorable) Rude: Tifa Biggs: maybe Tifa?, Cloud Kadaj: uh.. life? Roche: Genesis (I blame that one @speedjunkie ), Tseng ( I blame that on @lifedxbt ), Reno?, Jessie?
Does one have to ask to ship with you?
Yes..? I don’t like getting pushed into a ship without knowing. I’ll accept it sometimes if it’s a canon ship and I get a shippy ask, but unless we discussed it at some point, I won’t respond to shippy things. Unless they’re memes and just for fun!
How often do you like to ship?
All the time. Hahaha.
Are you multiship?
Lol, yes.
Are you ship obsessed or ship more-or-less?
I don’t like the word obsessed, it sounds very negative? I like shipping and I think it’s great fun to write various ships with various people. However, I have no problem writing threads and verses where my muses are not in any romantic relationships.
What is your favorite ship in your current fandom?
This is tough. I really love Rufus x Tseng and Rude x Reno. Those might be my faves in FF7.
Finally, how does one ship with you?
Just ask me, flail around and give me your headcanons :) The more you yell at me the more on board I’ll be.

Helooo u. Ur opinions r fresh and i really did have same ideas but it just looked odd (specifically UT)and I didn't share my thoughts. Make ur own analyzes plz. Have do u see characters development and relationship with each other? And what u really didn't expect in ur firstplaythrough?
Hey there! Appreciate the comment.
I do plan on doing basic analysis on how I feel about things and interpret things. I am not a body language expert or an expert on human interaction, so pretty much it’d be me and how I deal with things myself or how I perceive things. @silver-wield @nibelheiim and @otp-oasis-heavenxearth Do some really good analysis on body language and psychology, among other things.
I can talk about my first impressions and things that I wasn’t expecting, here, though.. And it’s gonna be long, cuz I have a lot of thoughts.
So full disclosure - I was worried about FF7 Remake. I almost didn’t play it. I actually didn’t play it right away. I liked the OG a lot, but FF8 was my favorite. That being said, I still really enjoyed 7, so was anxious initially about the remake. I was worried they’d change too much, which I don’t deal with very well.
My husband played it first. I’m definitely the FF stan in the family. I played a game in college where people would play FF songs and I could name them. I was fun, I know. I guess it worked cuz my husband stuck around.
I wasn’t aware of the Love Triangle of FF7 between C-T-A. I thought it was pretty straight forward, even as a teen. Cloud was... well, Cloud, I didn’t get all there was to understand about that situation, but I didn’t see a lot of romance in FF7. Especially since I finished FF8 first. However, Aerith died... Tifa saves him in the Lifestream, and they go on their way. The ending was bizarre when he said he’d meet her and Tifa’s reaction also made no sense. But I didn’t think much of it - wasn’t the game with the romance, so I didn’t take it as such. The game also was riddled with translation errors. “This guy are sick.”
Anyway - Remake, I would glance at my husband’s play through and was amazed at times, but still being a stubborn dumbass, like I am. I think the few times I saw Cloti scenes I was like woahhhkayyy... I don’t remember this. I saw the pillar drop on his playthrough and cried when they showed Wedge. Like both of us wouldn’t look at each other cuz we both were losing it.
My first playthrough was truly played with no shipping goggles, because I didn’t own them yet.
So I decided to play. My kids were being total jerks and carrying on, so I was getting upset as I’m realizing I enjoy the game. The voice acting, battle system, environments, characters, I was like in shock and awe, and slipping back to being a young teen again playing FF for the first time.
Got to the Discovery Quest - Alone at Last. I mean, I saw the title of it and was like um okay... this seems suggestive. Then she tells you to come over after you’re done changing your filter. Ohh... okay... huh. Also noticed Cloud being jealous at times? That was new.
Cloud in general was different than he was in the OG. But I LOVED it. I loved how they did his character. It makes the battle of his persona much more intense and enjoyable. The SOLDIER!Cloud vs True!Cloud stuff. (I didn’t know these terms my first play through, I did notice his face changing a lot). At times, Cloud was a jerk in the OG (well, you could make him be a jerk, I suppose, he wasn’t all that bad).
Alone at Last I was like “HOLY SHIT!” This is so suggestive! And this was before I heard...
The Moan (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I actually heard it on a YouTube video where somebody pointed it out. However I DID notice that Cloud asked her if she was sure she didn’t want a break at the end too... I got that one. (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
So anything heavy Cloti wasn’t even a though thinking about remake. At all. Not a wish or anything, I just didn’t think there’d be anything even close to it. Remake is actually what made me absolutely fall in LOVE with the Cloud x Tifa pairing. It is so damn wholesome and charged. Whenever that sexual tension breaks, it’ll be intense. I didn’t even know Cloud x Tifa was “Cloti” until I looked up “is the remake pushing Cloud and Tifa?” cuz I was that confused.
I got the resolution scene with Tifa on my first play through, only because I chose her first in the sewers. I did every quest, so I didn’t miss anything. Another thing I had spoiled by watching my husband play, I believe. Another thing I thought I must have been imaging. Especially when he stands there and I start going “wtf dude... ARE YOU GOING TO HUG HER?!” Phew, glad he did.
Jessie drove me nuts - I don’t do well with characters like her. I kept commenting that she wasn’t like this at all, at least not that I picked up on. I was thrilled when Cloud said “Are you seriously that desperate!?” because that’s exactly what I kept thinking. I didn’t like her death scene, I’m not sure if it was the dialogue or the way it was delivered, but I definitely got upset when Tifa was crying, cuz she just was breaking down emotionally as things go. Then Cloud’s reaction... phew.
I ADORE BIGGS AND WEDGE, though. Wedge especially, since I’m also a cat lover. Biggs looking like Charlie Sheen had me laughing.
Barret is amazing. I love the growing broness between him and Cloud. They start rough and end good. His relationship with Marlene is much more developed, and Marlene had a major improvement, I think, since she actually says quite a bit.
All of the environments were gorgeous. Seeing Midgar as it should be seen and not a screen of dirt and buildings was incredible. Aerith’s house was insane. I definitely was in awe of that place when you first get to it. the skyline during the rooftop sequence was great. I cannot wait to see the rest of the game and those environments - like Cosmo Canyon, for example...
THE MUSIC: Who else lost their shit when the third phase of Jenova Dreamweaver played J-E-N-O-V-A?! The jukebox was a pleasant surprise that I was iffy on at first, but ended up loving it. Stamp, Midgar Blues, On our Way, Tifa’s Theme (jazzy), and FREAKING SCARLET’S THEME. The Arsenal battle theme was one of my favorites.
And can we talk about Scarlet? Using a soldier as a foot stool and making him crawl around? Guess he took the whole Stamp thing to heart. Scarlet is such a nasty bitch, but I can’t help but love it.
Aerith was greatly improved character wise for me over her OG version. I didn’t really like her... at all... in the OG. Not good with female characters that start shit with flirting. Just felt malicious at times (though as an adult I think she just was really immature). I ADORE THE FRIENDSHIP OF HER AND TIFA.
The new characters: Oh boy, change.
BUT ANDREA!!! Andrea was amazing. I absolutely ADORE him.
Madam M and Chocobo Sam were also pretty good. Leslie was great, and I hope we see more of what goes on with him. It’d be nice if he could be there to see Corneo die.
Honeybee Inn was incredible.
Things I wasn’t a huge fan of:
Well, Chapter 8 was good on my first play through, but after that, I had a hard time with it. It’s slow. You have to walk, you have to wait a lot. So, I’d say the pacing on Chapter 8 is a bit slow for me. There’s not much “action” if you will. The scenery is good, though.
Jessie... yeah, I know. A lot of people love Jessie. I just don’t - she’s too extreme with the quest to get laid. However, I did enjoy thinking about her and Biggs having a thing.
The sun lamps.
The robot arms in Chapter 9.
Getting around the stupid trash and stuff to leave Aerith’s house.
My list of bad isn’t long. I love the game, so don’t mind really going through all of that stuff again.
THE SEWER PUMP IS EVIL.

I finished Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Long story short, I loved it!! So much!! And there’s alot I wanna rant about so here we are. A review of sorts?? Major spoilers ahead!
And if y’all think you’re immune to spoilers because you played the original FF7, YOU ARE NOT. Lots of new stuff here....just warning y’all.
Although! I did find this great looking walkthrough playlist if anyone’s interested and can’t play the thing themselves? Idk how complete it is with the details, but from a glance it looks nice!
- FIRST OF ALL the music in it all is amazing!!! From the menu song all throughout, I got Emotional. All the rehashings of Aerith’s theme?? Tifa’s theme?? The FF7 main theme here are there?? AMAZING!!!! I need to find a tracklist or something there are so many versions of the songs specific to the scenes they played in and I die??? Man it is Good.
- On the music front, I really enjoyed the Jukebox feature! So they could add in old classic songs that story-wise couldn’t appear yet...good nostalgia there.
- Lil disclaimer, I played the original FF7 fairly recently, on Steam. HOWEVER. I played Crisis Core years ago, and watched Advent Children, etc. And Final Fantasy music has been a staple homework playlist for me for ages now.... So yes I’m new to the whole FF7 original story. But not new in how most people are...it’s a weird situation lol. Like I knew the general FF7 story for awhile but just recently filled the details....
- The gameplay is awesome!! I wasn’t great at it, but...tbh it felt like mechanics combo of the original FF7, FF15, annnnd Kingdom Hearts :D Also appreciated it PAUSED when you picked out commands lol. Loved upgrading weapons. Loved working with materia. I wish there were like...ways to save a materia set so you could easily switch over when your characters were switched out though X’’’’D
- Biggs is Aro/Ace
- Cloud is VERY Aro/Ace
- Tifa might be Ace
- I decided long ago (in my Crisis Core phase) that Sephiroth is Aro/Ace. There’s nothing to “prove it” in this game but I’m holding to it. I have claimed these characters askjdhuiwdhguerhgr
- Side note, slightly related, but I love how the relationships shone in this remake?? Lots of casual, comfortable touch with Tifa and Cloud (in which Cloud seems in general pretty touch averse due likely to Trauma) in a “we’ve known each other our whole lives” way and gosh I love them. Aerith with Cloud is adorable. Barret!!! Was characterized SO WELL here, and I love him way more than I ever did!! Barret and Tifa interactions as well were so heartfelt and wonderful aaaaaa how good
- Like...Barret haaaates Cloud in the beginning. But somewhere along the way he adopts Cloud instead and ain’t that fantastic?? He just can’t contain how much he cares about others and especially his daughter and goSH I love him.
- Aerith!! I love her!! She gave such a vibe that she knows more than she says, but is still so cute and sweet and sassy I LOVE!!!! Also that scene in the train graveyard with baby Aerith ;;~;;
- Also
Cloud: You need any help??
Aerith, climbing a ladder: I’m fine. You don’t need to treat me like a princess or anything~~~
*ladder breaks*
Aerith, completely serious: s h * t.
I LAUGH
- Cloud was actually really cute with kids!!!!!
- I think I saw a post where they talked about how much more consistent characterizations were here?? I have to agree. I feel some stuff was lost in translation while playing FF7 original, and it felt alot more put together, character-wise, here. I feel like some of that was learned from FF15 and its success with character relationships?? It was Good.
_ I rambled about this before, but Wall Market was every bit as embarrassing as you would think. *covers face*
- Also I thought it was interesting how they handled who was in your party when! A little annoying sometimes though, switching materia around!!! DX I also really wanted to actually PLAY Red XIII/Nanaki....but sure make him an NPC, whatever. (I am grateful he healed me often.)
- *me when Nanaki shows up* AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! THERE HE IS!!!!!!! (sidenote, in the original, I didn’t wanna call him by his experiment name. He’s the only character I changed the name of. The name I picked? Ignis. :”D )
- The motorcycle segments were ANNOYING AS HECK, especially that last one in escaping the Shinra building DX The game forced your camera to focus on the boss and that made the controls VERY ANNOYING. Cool to watch tho.
- I actually almost completed the game boss fight chain early last night!! But RIGHT when I got to Sephiroth, the family demanded I get off the TV for their use D: all that progress....I had to redo ALOT. DX
- STILL the fights were VERY cool! Reminded me of KHII end alot actually, jumping around on broken floating buildings and whatnot?? Also the creature looked like a HUGE DARKSIDE heartless lol
- There’s actually alot in this remake that gives alot of a KH feel to me?? Nomura I see you....
- *screeching the One Winged Angel theme still not knowing the words*
- I LOVED how they showed scenes of the future in the end?? Probably ripped from Advent Children, but?? The characters actually seeing that?? Going “this CAN’T be our future!!” Yo. Also it’s implied it might not HAPPEN now going against destiny and all. I know alot of people are pissed but I am EXCITED. I’m all for a fix-it fic game thank YOU.
- Speaking of fix-it: ZACK. ZAAAAAACK!!!!!! It’s implied he’s alive in one reality so WHERE IS HE??????? I’m so curious about this new story. I’m gonna eat up theories. I want!! To see!! My baby boy!!!!!! to be Fair (haha) I spoiled myself knowing he was in the game but I didn’t know WHEN!!!
- This is terrible, but I love how much they expressed how NOT OK Cloud is. His mental state is awful, but boi won’t talk about it.
- Like I know it’s in the original, but it comes up ALOT more in the remake, and the flashbacks/brain short out moments are more obvious in HD for sure. Plus Cloud’s eyes seem more green there, which is a great touch!! Also the incredible FORESHADOWING it brought. Love it. Please someone help this idiot with his headaches....
- I did get annoyed with the whole scene in Hojo’s lab. Cloud’s walking like a zombie toward where Jenova is, saying CONCERNING things, and NO ONE reaches out until he outright collapses? We all just gonna stand back and watch?? Sure ok.
- Hojo is absolutely disgusting and horrifying and exactly how I imagined him, creators did great job.
- Also why does no one use curaga in these character death scenes???? Potion? Anything????Hello??????
- I was so relieved Wedge (and one of his 3 cats) got to live, and then devastated when they chucked him out a window last minute ;;A;; still. I didn’t see a body. Maybe he’s ok.....*sobs*
- I WAS NOT EXPECTING BIGGS TO BE SEEN IN RECOVERY THO YEEEEESSSSS (I love ANY sign that they DID manage to change the future a little...I thought he was dead!!) Fun fact! The one part I legitimately started crying was when Biggs “died”! Hhhhhhhhhh
- Those dang dementors huh? X’’’D Whispers of fate...there to make sure the story goes according to the original game basically. Does that make the whispers the purist fans of FF7? ...please don’t kill me for that comment sidfiushguigerha
- I just wanna say making a game ABOUT making a remake (that is different from the original) and the struggles in that is VERY meta and so clever and delightful and I LOVE IT. I really wanna see what happens next....
All in all I spent 52 hours on this game. WAY more than I expected for only covering Midgar. And I ENJOYED it!! Some parts felt like the story was being dragged/padded, but most of the time I didn’t care. Also there’s even more to do?? Apparently I missed some scenes....I don’t have time for now, but maybe someday. Or maybe I’ll just look them up ;;7;;
It’s a good game y’all!!
#breezy babbles#breezy plays ffVII#ff7 remake spoilers#ffVIIr#ff7remake#final fantasy#ff#SPOILERS#but also a helpful link for those that can't get the game!#seems like a good video series of the playthrough#excuse me while I use tumblr as a journal and rant my thoughts#again#and claim characters to my ace headcanons lol#this is a good game and I'd highly recommend thank yoU#so many ideas to draw so little time

Girlfriend
Biggs x Reader
Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Anonymous asked: Hey there! Just saw your that you are taking requests for FF7 :) Would you write a BiggsxReader, where Biggs and Reader visit the Leaf House and the kids are asking if the Reader is Biggs‘ Boy/Girlfriend? You can decide how they react :D Don‘t know if you noticed it but after you did the Delivery Quest for the Leaf House in chapter 8, some kids are talking about him :) Would be very sweet of you!
Send in a Request | Masterlist
“Is that your girlfriend, Biggs?”
Biggs had been excited for you to join him on his trip to the Leaf House in Sector 5, but now, judging by the look on his face, he would rather be anywhere else. The child in front of him looked to be about 11, but you could sense a deviousness in him well beyond his years.
“I.. uh…” Biggs stuttered, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. His face was tinged a faint shade of pink. “Wanna walk with us to the House?”
The kid laughed and took Biggs by the hand. “C’mon!” he yelled, practically dragging the older man up the dirt path. Biggs turned to you, his face still a bit pink, and shrugged before allowing himself to get dragged away.
You followed behind them, weaving your way through the Sector 5 marketplace. As you walked, the kid—whose name you quickly learned was Vinny—talked Biggs’ ear off. Everything from his schoolwork to the local stray pets, Vinny made it his mission to tell Biggs about it all. You didn’t mind being left out of the conversation—it let you fully take in your surroundings.
In your opinion, Sector 5 was much nicer than Sector 7. Sure, it was just as cramped and the buildings were just as dingy, but there was something to be said about the grass and the foliage that was springing up between the cracks in the pavement and around the buildings.
The Leaf House sat just south of the marketplace on what looked to be the widest road in the whole village. The walls surrounding the property were covered in children’s graffiti—you spotted a moogle, and a chocobo, and lots of rainbows and monsters. As soon as Biggs and Vinny emerged from the alleyway, they were set upon by a pack of excited kids, all clamoring and shouting for Biggs’ attention.
“Biggs! Do you wanna play swords with me?”
“Biggs, come play Whack-a-Box with us!”
“What’s in your bag? Did you bring us something?”
Biggs put up his hands in an attempt to calm everyone down. It didn’t really work, but you could tell he was loving every second of the attention.
“Guys! It’s okay. Relax.” He adjusted the strap of the bag slung over his shoulder. “I just got here. We don’t need to do everything all at once.”
“Who’s that?” One of the kids, a black-haired little girl that looked to be around six, finally noticed you standing off to the side under a mossy awning.
“That’s Biggs’ girlfriend,” Vinny said, smiling innocently up at Biggs.
And just like that, Biggs was back to stammering. You couldn’t help but laugh. The kid knew what he was doing.
You introduced yourself with a wave, and almost immediately, the children surrounded you instead of Biggs.
“Girlfriend? Gross!”
“I like your shoes!”
“Do you wanna play swords with me?”
You chuckled and glanced over at Biggs. He was still very clearly embarrassed, but he was watching you not-so-subtly, waiting to see how you reacted to the kids.
“What’s your name?” You kneeled down to eye level with the black-haired little girl. She had been pushed closer to you in the other children’s clamor to talk to you.
“Maya.”
“Well, Maya, I think we’ll have time to play with everyone later.” You smiled gently. Some of the other kids cheered excitedly. “But for now, can you take us to Ms. Floria? We brought her some supplies.”
Maya, her chubby hand sliding into yours as she led the way into the Leaf House. Biggs followed at your side as the girl led you up the stairs of the House and down a hallway. Ms. Floria stood at the end, dusting a shelf.
“Ms. Floria!” Maya called, causing the woman to abandon her dusting. “Biggs is here!”
“Thank you, Maya.” The woman put her duster away. “You can go play with the others.”
Maya glanced up at you, and you nodded. “We’ll be out soon.” The little girl nodded and bounded back down the stairs.
Biggs shrugged off the bag he was carrying and held it out to Ms. Floria. “I brought some more books. Figured they’ve probably all read the ones I brought last time by now.”
Floria laughed. “Several times over. But they love them because they’re from you.”
“I’m kind of a big deal around here,” Biggs half-whispered to you.
You laughed. The last thing Biggs needed was an inflated ego and an army of adoring children at his heels.
“You gonna introduce me to your friend, Biggs?” Floria asked playfully. “Don’t tell me she’s your girlfriend?”
“Uh… actually yes.” Biggs rubbed at the back of his neck sheepishly, but unlike when the kids asked him, he didn’t seem to be too embarrassed. “It’s kind of a new development.”
Floria smiled at you—a big, warm, genuine smile that made you think if given enough time, the two of you could be fast friends. “It’s good to meet you.”
“You, too.”
The three of you chatted as you made your way back downstairs. Floria dropped the books off in the classroom on the first floor before joining you and Biggs outside. Again, the children congregated around Biggs, tugging him this way and that, all vying for his attention for even a second.
You spent the rest of the afternoon at the Leaf House, playing with the children, and even following some of them back to their hideout so Biggs could play a few rounds of Whack-a-Box with them. When you had started out for Sector 5, you would have never guessed that this would be how you spent your day, but you were honestly having fun watching Biggs play with the kids.
A few of the kids even wanted you to play with them, which, according to Floria, was a little shocking. But you managed to play swords with a kid named Trevor, and you had a tea party with Maya, and a few of the other kids asked you to read their favorite book to them.
It was getting late by the time the kids started to get tired. You and Biggs stood on the main road, the hoard of children surrounding you, all saying their goodbyes.
“Come back soon, okay?” Trevor asked.
Biggs gave him a thumbs up. “I’ll be back soon as I can.”
Maya tugged on the side of his pants in an attempt to get his attention. “You’ll bring us more books?”
“I’ll do my best.”
“Make sure you bring your girlfriend!” Vinny sing-songed.
Surprisingly, Biggs didn’t blush or sputter. He laughed, sharp and joyful. “Yeah,” he said, taking your hand. “I’ll be sure to do that.”

An FF7R rant, just needing to vent after seeing a recent vid
A group of purist (not the traditional type but of the “the game has x-themes and events that must be followed else its not the game”) edgelords talking about things they’d want to see in FF7R part 2, one of them flat out just says “death”. Then they all essentially agree with the idea. You mean like the original damn game where it had plenty of deaths and still exists to show that timeline of events, whereas this new Remake-timeline can actually offer a “good end route” (and fuck ones that think the route where Jessie, Biggs, Wedge, Zack, and Aerith die + has Sephiroth causing a disease among populations of people that died + has Sephiroth returning thus to some degree rendering the use of Holy useless as a “good end route”; its not, its a “bad end route”). I say FF7R should go the alt. route of the original game in having a proper “good end route” and these purist types can fuck off back to their original game (which again still exists thus that -verse still being a thing alongside the new Remake one). These people act like they know the game better than anyone else and have to defend its theme or have any control over what is or isn’t an FF7 story; like newsflash only ones that have that power are the writers and creatives working on it.

Can you please write headcannons for Biggs being in love with his best friend, who he doesn’t know reciprocates his feelings
Thank you for your request, dear anon! It was so nice to write for Biggs again since he’s one of my favorite characters from FF7. I really hope you like the HCs! :)
Biggs x best friend!reader – being in love with you (HCs)
Biggs has no idea how to tell you about his feelings, especially since he doesn’t know if he’s more than a friend to you as well. He wouldn’t want to ruin your friendship, just because he fell in love with you, so he will probably remain silent about his feelings for quite a while.
He’s a quite sensitive guy who can’t really hide his feelings, particularly not from you. When he’s upset about something it’s pretty obvious to you which makes it even harder for him to keep his secret. He wouldn’t distance himself from you though because he knows that it would make you even more suspicious if he broke off the contact with you.
It’s not that he hates himself for developing romantic feelings for you but sometimes he really wishes he could turn back time. Things were a lot easier when you were nothing more than a friend to him, and he’s definitely afraid to lose you because of his crush on you.
Because of that, it’s hard for him to be around you since he can’t act like nothing happened, although he really tries his best to pretend that everything’s normal. The thing is, you know him well enough to realize pretty soon that something bothers him, so he can’t avoid a conversation about his strange behavior forever. However, he tries to find excuses because he’s incredibly insecure about telling you the truth.
Another reason why he wouldn’t tell you anything about his feelings is that he’s not good with words when it comes to stuff like that. He just doesn’t know what to say, although he usually feels like the two of you can talk about anything.
He feels terrible about having a secret from you but in the end, it depends on your behavior whether he confesses to you or not. Like, when he gets the impression that you like him as well he’s a lot more hesitant but when you act like you don’t care about him in a romantic way, he probably won’t address the issue anytime soon.

Quarantine Musings, Part Deux
I went into Final Fantasy VII Remake expecting something akin to FFXII’s fun combat system and open world design, spiced up by the use of characters that predate the Tetsuya Nomura School of Design having turned stale and passionless. It’s pretty much what I got, so I spent a good chunk of time equivalent to the earlier-released demo just plain being happy.
Then I heard the game’s reprisal of Tifa’s theme, down in Sector 7 and, well... I needed a moment, let’s say. Fuck, man, the goosebumps.
So far, I’m liking the way they’ve opted to flesh out FF7 while staying as true-to-form as possible. The opening hour has you recognize screens from the ages-old PSOne release even if they’re being rendered in bleeding-edge visual fidelity, with most of the opening hours’ tedious X-pressing being relegated to basic passivity, seeing as we’ve gone from speech boops and text boxes to fully-voiced and animated cutscenes that regularly and seamlessly transition back into the gameworld. It’s not as tedious as the original game’s RNG-based encounters and for once, it entirely is possible to clean house before tackling the main boss, inside the Mako reactor. That reduces the grind and makes it difficult to cheese your way to higher levels of power, but it does follow the plot more closely. The end result is a leveling scale that’s fairly different from the standard release of the title, seeing as you’ll kick back at Seventh Heaven with a Cloud Strife that’s teetering on the verge of his fifteenth level, if you play your cards right. The balancing follows suit, thankfully, so there’s no danger of you wiping the floor with bottom-tier mooks - unless you play the game on Easy.
The biggest additions are largely diegetic, seeing as Square opted to give Midgar the lion’s share of this installment. We see more pedestrians, more signage; we catch more banter as it flies about and, crucially, we also have access to more involved side-quests. They, in turn, tie back to quest-givers both old and new, and add a few hours of extra meat on the adventure’s bones.
We also see more of Sephiroth in the early game. If you expected the narrative progression to be identical, you’ll probably be surprised. My best guess is that the scriptwriters opted to better flesh out and root the sources of Cloud’s trauma, therefore having our boy’s signature Nemesis crop up as components of overly-contrived hallucinations and flashbacks. It’s a tad clumsy, but it works.
That’s without mentioning the fact that Cloud himself is a bit more of a gab. He might still pass for aloof as far as video game protagonists are concerned, but banter that concerns him doesn’t simply remain one-sided, this time around. Our boy tries pathetically hard to play the Tsundere card, but still prods conversations along and reacts to jokes, jabs or bits of worldbuilding pertinent to his professional docket or preoccupations of the moment. It does wonders to make Cloud come across as a resident of Midgar, someone with a professional stake in its operation, and not just as a spiky-haired wallflower that was unceremoniously dropped in to scowl at everyone and passive-aggressively shove Gil down his pockets.
Of course, the flipside of this involves Barrett. Mister Wallace is here so unabashedly, wholly and inescapably Black as to transcend Blackface, and has very little character development beyond being the loud and opinionated ghetto bruiser that essentially acts as Avalanche’s standard-bearer. If Biggs, Jessie or Wedge had anything close to a decent character arc, our band of eco-terrorists might have been able to couch its manifesto down over the opening hours. As it stands, what we get is a very dated relic from Greenpeace’s years of aggressively militant activism. Why lobby for policy changes in Midgar or reduced subsidies for Shinra and its dependencies when you can endanger civilians and paid employees by staging a raid on a power station?
I Messenger’d a few friends halfway through Sector 7 and snickered as we spitballed off of Avalanche’s agenda. “Remember, folks, Black Dynamite lost an arm and grafted a gatling gun to it for THA PLANET. Reduce, reuse and recycle, or he’ll Kung Fu you candy-ass motherfuckas into Bahamut’s plane of existence!”
Yeah. Barrett hasn’t aged well, let’s say. The ensemble cast either chews the scenery as effectively as Final Fantasy villains are expected to, or plays it all in a surprisingly subdued manner. I was afraid I’d find Aerith’s hopefulness jarring after so long, but she blends in with the other playable characters as effectively as before.
Then again, Squaresoft always did have trouble designing Black characters, didn’t they?

Creep-FF7 Biggs X Reader Ch.8/?
Summary: you get on the bad side of one of Don Corneo’s men and now you have a target on your back.
A/N: Sorry this chapter is a week late! New chapters will be posted every Saturday, but I’ll try to post more than once a week. Also, it would mean a lot to me if you checked out my last post, it’s important.
"Raise hell," was what Jessie said. A simple, yet effective description of your current mission. Thing is, your team had never been told to raise hell before. Usually, you were told the opposite. In all of your previous missions, it was imperative to not raise hell or else get caught and ruin the mission or worse, lose your life. This was going to be interesting.
The four of you crept around the corner, staring out at the security checkpoint that lay directly in front of you. Something was off about the scene...
"Where are the guards?" Cloud asked. He was right, there wasn't a soul in sight. Even the guard booths appeared empty. Definitely a red flag.
From there the group scurried towards the guard booth, heads ducked just in case there was a troop they had missed. You and your friends crouched against the wall, just below the window and out of sight. Wedge was the first to peer into the booth.
He let out a small scream, and you slapped your hand over his mouth. Cloud grabbed the boy by the wrist and yanked him out of sight. So much for being subtle... But if there were someone outside, they would've been provoked by Wedge's scream. The seconds slipped by painfully slow as your group waited to see if anyone would come looking for the source of the sound, no one did. You let out a breath you didn't realize you were holding, hand falling away from Wedge's mouth.
Biggs looked inside the guard booth himself, noticing the only Shinra troop was either dead or unconscious on the floor. He ducked back down quick.
"Looks like someone beat us here," he said, voice a low growl.
"And I don't think it was Jessie!" Wedge added. Biggs shook his head.
"This had better not get in the way of our plans..."
Cloud slowly stood up, glancing around for any sign of life before looking down at the three people below him.
"It won't," he said simply.
"And you're sure about that?" You asked, scanning your surroundings as you stood up to his level. Once you were completely content that no one was around, you crossed your arms and stared up at the SOLDIER. He only nodded, and you studied his face, unable to read him. "Then let's go."
Biggs noticed your extended glance at the mercenary, and as the four of you moved to your next position, he made sure to slide between you and Cloud.
You couldn't help but notice his proximity as well as the brush of his hand against yours as the two of you walked side-by-side. You wondered if he noticed too. His hand was so close to yours, you could just grab it if you wanted... You mentally slapped yourself, now was not the time or place for a stupid crush.
"Don't see anyone here, what the hell happened?" Biggs asked, taking another glance at his surroundings. The usually heavily-guarded security entrance was lifeless. It was and eerie sight, which he couldn't seem to get over. Something was wrong, and the fact that he didn't know what it was only made his concern grow.
"Jessie's supposed to circling 'round back, right?" Wedge asked, worry lacing his tone. You nodded to him.
As you leaned against the wall that stood just before the warehouse gate, you tried to ready yourself for what would happen next. Sure, there weren't any guards outside the building, but there was no way that would ring true on the inside. There were too many valuable thing in that warehouse, so Shinra probably had a whole militia in there to keep it all safe. As soon as Cloud walked into those gates, all hell would break loose. Just like Jessie wanted.
Biggs went over the plan one last time: The three of you would scale the building to reach a vantage point while Cloud walked through the front. Then, the three of you would use the vantage point to help him out and watch his back. As Biggs explained this, you noticed Cloud's eyes glaze over in contemplation. He wasn't thinking about the mission, though; there was something else plaguing the merc's mind.
Biggs finished speaking, and Cloud still looked shellshocked. His gaze hadn't faltered from the sky in quite a while, which both Biggs and Wedge noticed.
"Cloud?" you asked; he didn't respond. You slowly placed your hand on his shoulder, and he jolted at the contact. You gasped and you pulled your hand away. His gaze met yours, eyes fiery and filled with... fear? Confusion? "You okay?"
He hesitated, glancing at you once more before calming down and returning to his typical stoic demeanor.
"Yeah,"
Just as he spoke, a flare whirred into the sky; Jessie's signal for the plan to commence. So you, Biggs, and Wedge scaled the side of the building, reaching a second floor balcony that ran all the way around the inner courtyard of the warehouse. Cloud stepped through the main gate, and as he did, a few Shinra guards spotted him.
He slashed his way through the troops, effectively causing a stir, which only lead to the dispatch of more troops. You tried your best to make his job easier by taking out a few from your vantage point, as did Biggs and Wedge, but for the most part it looked like Cloud could handle himself. You would expect no less from a former SOLDIER 1st class. But you couldn't forget that look in his eyes... what could possibly be going on in that boy's head?
"Unauthorized intruders in 7-6 annex. All units: proceed to location and neutralize targets."
The automated voice dragged you back into reality, the reality where you had to raise as much hell as possible. All the missions you've been on in the past, you were told to do the exact opposite. Stay as quiet as you can, Dont let anyone see you, if you get caught, you die. So hearing that stupid automated message set off so many alarms in your head. You had to remind yourself that it was gonna be ok, Cloud was the one taking the brunt of it anyway (which he was perfectly capable of handling). You took a deep breath to calm your nerves and keep your hands from shaking. It would be really hard to shoot Shinra troops with shaky hands.
There was a slap on your shoulder, you turned your head to see who it was. You met eyes with Biggs, a smile on his face and and a knowing look in his eyes. He felt the same way, you could tell.
"Showtime. We can do this." He said, you smiled up at him. And then the two of you resumed helping Cloud.
You stuck close to Biggs for the most part; because of the safety his presence always provided and that stupid little crush, it had become a subconscious habit. Jessie often mocked you for it, and Wedge and Tifa would always raise a brow. But they weren't here right now, and Wedge was too busy to judge you.
All was going according to plan, until it wasn't. You knew there were going to be troops, your group could handle troops, but there was more up the company's sleeve than just a few inexperienced guys with guns. They were Midgar's biggest technology and weapons manufacturer, so you should've expected to see something of that sort. When it happened, though, you were still surprised.
The platform you stood on started shaking, no, vibrating, and you instinctively grabbed at Biggs' bicep. The two of you looked around in confusion, trying to figure out why the ground was shaking below you. And then you saw it. Just a few feet away, a turret rose from its hiding place within the platform. There wasn't just one, but many spaced out across the balcony.
"Oh, you gotta be shitting me!" Biggs said.
As soon as they ascended from the ground, a storm of bullets were coming Cloud's way. There must be some way to help him, you thought. You looked at the turret, maybe there was a power button on it or something? Probably not, though you did check. Then you realized something: they weren't attached to the platform. With enough force, you could push them off. So that's what you did, you began pushing, only to realize you didn't have the strength to push them down alone.
"Help me out!" You called to Biggs, and he did so. As soon as he joined in, the turret fell from the platform and bust into a million pieces below.
Wedge watched from across the courtyard and began doing the same with the turrets on his side. Pretty soon, the three of you had taken most of them down.
"Goodbye," Biggs sighed, he had just pushed the last turret from the platform, which he insisted he do alone, and put his hand on his hips, catching a breath as he watched it shatter on the ground, "And good riddance."
Just as it seemed all of Cloud's threats had been neutralized, a loud growling and the sound of a gate opening interrupted the moment's peace. They just had to let out the dogs... Shinra's guard dogs weren't like normal dog. No, they were genetically enhanced and the most viscous animals you had ever encountered. They could rip a man in half. And cloud was facing an entire pack of them.
There were so many hounds, more than you ever expected, all growling and snarling. You questioned Cloud's ability to take them all on at once. Though you've seen him accomplish crazy things, there was a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach.
Across the platform, Wedge saw the situation unfold below. There were way too many of them, and he knew there must be something he could do. Wedge saw the opportunity to be helpful and took it, no matter the risk. He jumped down from the platform, took the dogs' attention away from Cloud, and then ran.
"Catch me if you caaan!" He taunted, which only angered the dogs more.
"Wedge!" You shouted. He only sent a thumbs- up in you direction.
"What the hell is he doing?" Biggs asked, holding onto the railing. You found yourself gripping the railing as well, praying that the boy would end up ok. And if he did, you'd definitely give him an earful after the mission.
The dogs chased him in circles while Cloud worked to take them out one by one. You and Biggs tried to help, but since they were all running so fast, there was always the fear of hitting Wedge instead of the intended targets. You both avoided the dogs closest to him and instead focused on the ones in the back.
But one was getting closer and closer to him, snarling and ready to bite. It's head was at just the right height to take a chunk out of his ass. Once it got close enough, it sunk its teeth in. Wedge jumped at the contact, grabbing at his butt as he screamed in pain. But he couldn't stop running, not yet, or else he would become a meal for all of those animals.
Cloud took the rest of the dogs out, and Wedge collapsed to the ground when he knew his threat was neutralized.
"Think I... ran off... the pizza," He said in between ragged breaths. You and Biggs laughed. Wedge was just... so Wedge. That's the only way you knew how to describe him. Even when his life was in danger, he was still undeniably himself. You couldn't wait to give him a lecture for being so reckless.
"Hell of a show, man! If only the ladies loved you that much!" Biggs called from above.
"I'm glad someone's enjoying themselves," Wedge replied.
And just like that, the moment of peace was over. This time, your new threats were mechanical beasts, Shinra's newest and best mechs. Of course. Because things just couldn't be easy, could they?
The four of you began fighting against those metal monsters. Cloud and Wedge attacked from the ground, while you and Biggs used your height advantage to chip away at the machines' health.
Still, Cloud was a far better fighter than the three of you combined, and it turned out he didn't really need your help either. He finished them off quickly.
This time, there was no time to take a breath before the next threat appeared: more troops. And a lot of them at that.
"Don't move!" They ordered to Cloud and Wedge as they circled the pair, guns at the ready.
And then came the unexpected savior: a man on a bike flying through the air. That red bike... it was Roche. And he rode in with the same maniacal laughter he did when you first met him. As he landed, he spun around all of the troops, dispersing them.
"Well, aren't we having a wonderful time kicking the hornet's nest?"
You and Biggs jumped from the platform, running towards Cloud and Wedge. The troops you ran past didn't even respond, for they were too focused on Roche, a member of SOLDIER, helping the other side. At least that's what it looked like. It was too early to tell who's side he was really on.
He parked his red bike, stepping off of it and turning to look back at the four of you. He glanced between Biggs and Wedge for only a moment, before turning to you. A spark of recognition graced his eyes as he looked you up and down, noticing the bandages on your arms.
"Glad to see you're ok," he said, same sickening inflection.
"No thanks to you," you spat.
"Weren't you going to do the same thing to me?" He raised a brow, a smirk playing on his lips as well.
You huffed; he was right. You were going to do the same thing to him. He just beat you to it. Still, the sight of that weirdo infuriated you, and you had to hold your tongue to keep from telling him off.
Roche's attention fell away from you and instead to Cloud. His eyes lit up at the sight of the fellow SOLDIER, that creepy smirk of his growing even wider.
"You know what I want," he said, voice a low rumble, "A second dance, just the two of us."
He approached the mercenary, taking slow, methodical steps. His blade was held down at his side, scraping the ground as he walked. Then he stopped, taking his sword and holding it out towards Cloud.
"You turned the key," he said, placing his other hand on his heart, "then engine roars with excitement... it hungers to be set free!"
His poetically erotic comment disarmed your group for a moment by sheer shock alone, though you all quickly regained composure.
Roche wanted a one-on-one duel, but you recalled being told to have Cloud's back. Looking at Wedge and Biggs, you knew they were thinking the same thing. So the three of you held fast to your positions, weapons and fists at the ready. Cloud reached for his sword, and the three of you took a step closer.
"Fall back," Cloud warned. You opened your mouth in shock for a second, before a hand on your wrist and pulled you away from the upcoming fight. Without even having to look, you knew it was Biggs. You crossed your arms over your chest in annoyance; you really wanted to punch that weirdo...
There was a second's pause as the two finished their stand off, before Cloud made the first move and ran at the other SOLDIER. And thus their battle begun, sparks flying from the clashing metal. Being genetically altered, their movements were much faster for you to keeps up with. It was a flurry of attacks, one right after the other.
It seemed as though Cloud must have worn the man down, as the man staggered back, out of breath. After a few gasps of air, his breathing slowed again and he looked back up to Cloud, that same evil grin on his face. He straightened up, playing with the blade in his hand for a moment, before laughing.
"I told you we were going to push it past the red line!" He said, sword pointed at Cloud.
And so their dance started again. Their swords swung through the air so fast you could practically see them cut through the air around them. Huffs and grunts filled the night as their swords met over and over again. Neither party held back, both SOLDIERS used all their might, which made for an electrifying battle. Their moves were rapid-fire, an onslaught of attacks with the same intensity of a summer storm.
Eventually though, cloud chipped away at the man's health and stripped him of his resolve. Roche fell to his knees, taking quick, labored breaths. Cloud put his buster sword back on his back.
"Satisfied?" Cloud asked. Roche caught his breath and got back on his feet.
"With such fleeting pleasure? Hardly." He laughed, making his way back to his red bike. He stroked the seat for a moment, before turning around, "There are higher height to which you and I can still soar."
As the words left his mouth, more Shinra troops as well as a few more mechs came out to play. Was this night ever going to end? It was always one thing after another. You, Cloud, Wedge, and Biggs got into a square formation, each facing outwards so everyone's back was covered.
The troops stood back as three mechs stomped over to your group, the one in the middle charged towards Cloud and he held his sword up in defense.
Just before it could get to him though, Roche drove past, knocking all three mechs off of their feet. He stopped his bike for a moment, taking another sinister look at Cloud.
"We really must do this again. Until then... try not to die. I'll see you on the road, my friend!"
And then he drove off like a madman, skidding past both your group and the Shinra troops, his laughter echoing through the night.
