I think in the future I'll invest in more expensive gouache, I love the colors but I had to do a lot of layering which is what I wanted to avoid with gouache, but fun paints :)

Part 10: Flute

As Rupert hides in the skull he can hear the horned cat sneaking and sniffing around, still searching for him. He peaks out of the eye socket to see if something could help him. He spots an interesting looking room just across the hallway. He tries to sneak past the cat but then he stumbles over some weird musical instrument! The cat roars and is sprinting towards him. Rupert is running further into the room and grabs a flute, an instrument he can play quite skilfully! He starts to play a lullaby that hits the cat with intense tiredness and makes it fall asleep right at Ruperts feet.

I wanted to create a background for this one, but my chronic fatigue symptoms have worsened over the past few weeks. So, I worked on this snow leopard over the span of three weeks, during moments in my free time when I had the energy and kept it like this.

But anyway, I wanted to go for a more realistic drawing this time to practise fur and other details.
