every finale for every season had a panning shot of the sky with "the end" showing up in black text. we didnt get that in this episode (https://x.com/goblonglo/status/1845168766839046382)

all the plotholes?? the things left unfilled?? there is no way theyd leave it off so open-ended. even hfjones ending had more closure

most movies have 3 acts. the 2nd act is known for being the part where everything seems hopeless and theres no saving them. we're still in the "all is lost" portion yall!!

there was a member that said something along the lines of "keep an eye out for what mores to come" in a tweet that was deleted not long after it was made. this implies They werent meant to spoil that there was more coming (https://x.com/meepletism/status/1845164453970706672, https://x.com/eyewellduh/status/1845156100779180075)

no one has ever had a solid answer whether or not there was only act 1 and act 2. not anyone has said a word about it yet. sure, theres no confirmation, but theres also no denying

the entire "how bow got her tail" thing. every time they made her start talking about it, it cuts away. we dont now whats up with that yet, which implies that it spoils what its gonna be used for in the future

THEY JUST HIRED NEW ANIMATORS!!! like LITERALLY just hired a big batch of new animators. there is no way that they did it just for one last part of the series just to end it so soon.

in the post where they promoted the release of ii17 on twitter, it states the series CONTINUES, not CONCLUDES. if you look back on old posts, like the one from the iii finale, it states in big bold letters THIS IS THE END IT ENDS HERE but it doesnt do that (https://x.com/AnimationEpic/status/1845134881098961164, https://x.com/AnimationEpic/status/1764314840410021903)

kinda hand in hand with above but the description of this video compared to other finale episodes looks like just a normal episode. theres no "thanks for watching the series" or anything. the ii team wouldnt just Leave it off like that i dont think

adams account being deactivated over on twitter due to his whole "running away from mephoneX" thing has to be relevant right. they have to reactivate it at some important point. like when act 3 comes out? right??

13. in the last meetups, a suitcase plush was hinted at. theyve also talked about the plush on stream. we havent been advertised this plush yet so theyre likely saving it for the last episode

a comprehensive guide for watching generation 1 of my little pony 🐴

when i was getting into generation 1 (link for yt playlist) the watching order was super confusing and led me to take longer to finish the show than I would have liked.

ALSO!! i loved all the little ponies so i will include the names for your help in identifying which pony is in which series!

1. Rescue At Midnight Castle (Pilot)

Featuring Firefly, Applejack, Twilight, Baby Ember, Bubbles, Moondancer, Bow Tie, Glory, Cotton Candy and Medley as well as Spike and Megan. It's important to remember the majority of the ponies featured in this short film DO NOT appear again in the other specials or the show - however this is the first appearance of Spike and Megan!!! The sea ponies are also introduced with their catchy theme music! Fun fact, if you notice an anime-esque style to the animation that would be because Toei Animation helped animate this special!

2. Escape From Catrina

Featuring an entirely new set of ponies! And this time much more baby ponies! Join Cotton Candy, Baby Cotton Candy, Sundance, Posey, Lickety-Split, Sky Dancer, Baby Surprise, Heart Throb, Baby Moondancer, Baby Glory, Sparkler, Powder and Starflower for a new adventure (of course with Spike and Megan too) This special introduces us to the Bushwoolies! Posey, Sundance, Heart Throb and Lickety Split were the only ponies to reappear in the series.

3. My Little Pony The Movie

The only full length feature film in the franchise. Did you know Danny Devito voice acts in this movie? He plays the Grundle King! The ponies in this movie are Lickety-Split, Buttons, Lofty, North Star, Gusty, Sundance, Magic Star, Fizzy, Baby Sundance, Sweet Stuff, Wind Whistler, Baby Lickety-Split, Rosedust, Shady and Baby Lofty! We also get to see the mysterious Moochick for the first time, as well as Megan's siblings Danny and Molly.

4. My Little Pony N Friends (Season 1 + 2)

Now finally the TV show! Each episode is 11 minutes in length and arc's are seperated into multiple episodes with the longest being The End of Flutter Valley with 11! Parts! (wow) There are many more types of ponies in the TV series with the regular unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies AND the return of sea ponies as well as new types: flutter ponies, big brother ponies, baby ponies (first tooth + newborn twins) and princess ponies!!!

'LET IT FADE AWAY'

(NOTE: TITLE COULD BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. FOR NOW THIS IS PROVISIONAL, BUT LIKELY TO REMAIN.)

So. My Current WIP. 'The Big One'. Very excited about it.

It's a crossover between Torchwood and Doctor Who, in the sense that it borrows characters from both, while essentially being a Doctor Who season (in a written form).

I won't go into too much detail about what happens in it, because that's the story for within the fic itself, obviously! However, I will say now that I'll be treating this as a hypothetical 'Nth Season' of Doctor Who, with a 'Nth Doctor'. As well as some familiar faces from Torchwood (S1 to CoE, that is).

I have many plans, and am very excited to write and share this story with everyone. I am at a stage in Chapter One (for the sake of it being a hypothetical 'season', I will be calling them 'episodes') where I feel able to share some more information on (most) episode titles and summaries.

So, without further ado, enjoy, and let me know what you're most excited for!

EPISODES

Episode 1: Ferry of the Forgotten

When a ferry filled with spirits causes mass-amnesia in the streets of Cardiff, a trapped Doctor finds her way to the doorstep of seemingly the only person who remembers; 21 year old Mica Davies.

Episode 2: Clowns and Crowns

After becoming trapped by a broken TARDIS on the planet Iter'en, The Doctor and Mica are forced to search for a missing part, and encounter some difficulties along the way... Both from the Markets, and the Travelling Circus.

Episode 3: Theory of Three

With the TARDIS still in a partial state of disrepair, Mica and the Doctor crash land in Ancient Greece. Can the famed philosopher Pythagoras help them find what is needed to fix the TARDIS, before they are stuck forever?

Episode 4: Stargazer

Still shaken from the previous trip, Mica returns to Cardiff... Only to find out that she has been missing for three months, with her family not caring to find her. Worse still, the stars are beginning to disappear from the night sky as a once-in-a-millenia space event occurs.

Episode 5: Weep

It's the year 1963, and a widely-anticipated sculpture artist makes their post-study debut with their new critical exhibition. The twist? Their sculptures will be created live... In more ways than one.

Episode 7: Ancestree

When Mica becomes stuck in a trance-like state in which she is able to relive her ancestor's lives, it's up to The Doctor to find a way to break the loop before Mica becomes eternally merged with an ancient tree known as the 'Ancestree'.

Episode 8: The Scorpions in the Grass

On the planet Meminisse, the local wildlife is beginning to act strangely. When The Doctor receives a call from an old favour, the Universe's two best galactic problem solvers are on the case.

Episode 9: The Dogs in the Woods

Continuation of Episode 8: The Scorpions in the Grass.

Episode 10: Imagine

The island of Gondal; a real place that only Emily Brontë can visit through a gap between two trees on the Yorkshire Moors... Enter The Doctor and Mica Davies.

Episode 11: Lights, Camera, Action!

In the year 2083, The Doctor and Mica end up on a Period Drama Film Set, but confuse it for a genuine Victorian town. When they become confused for the main characters, problems naturally arise.

Around March I got the urge to watch G1, so I opened Youtube and started the episodes in the order in which they were listed on the official Hasbro channel.

Turns out that is not a good idea.

I figured it out around the middle of season 1 and went searching on the internet to find if someone had any idea why is that.

After a while I found a forum of people talking about how they made their own order of the episodes. After a bit of scrolling I found God.

pitt55 shared his entire reconfiguration of all the 98 episodes on the forum. You'll find his reply if you scroll down just a bit.

Ep 48 Pt 1: Just Me Thinking too Much About the Shape of Obelisk's Ass

Got swamped by work stuff and sick stuff pushing my stupid fatigue to 11 but hell I need to write about Yugioooooh.

Last we left off, Isis and Shimon died in order to get Pharaoh back the puzzle so he could pull out the spicy god cards.

And I need to discuss butt plate.

I know that Obelisk probably never does a big sitty at any point of his day, but considering I have chronic fatigue now and I just big sitty all the time, I think about sitting a LOT. Like a LOT.

Anywhere this man sits down is destroyed. Like anywhere. He's got a gardening hoe for a rear end. This man could kill you with his butt in a way that's just way more devastating than his fists.

Why does this exist? Like have we EVER seen the back of a god card before? Like ever? It's fascinating, and parts of me wonder if whoever was doing this episode started sweating bullets when they realized "Does Obelisk have a butt? And how chiseled is the butt? I'm very concerned like, does he even wear pants? How cheeks are these cheeks?"

And like was the solution between if Obelisk would have a bubble butt or a flat butt to instead put a giant knife on his ass to cover it up? because I can respect it. It's a weird character design decision but so is this entire show.

And the character design is about to get a little weirder his episode because Yugioh reminded us that fusion exists.

Bakura is true to his word, and so we say "so long" to the theatrical pocket universe where these two yell asides at eachother across the DM table. We will go back to the isekai where Bakura will now become Zorc for the rest of the show.

Does the show give Zorc a British accent, do you ask?

No.

And I'm as confused and disappointed as you are. Alexander the Freakin Great had a British accent. But Obelisk? Absolutely not. Would not make sense. Who would do that?

Now in case you forgot, because I only do like one of these a month, Seto was left behind at the castle courtyard because Yami did not give him a ride to Kul Elna. You may be asking, isn't the...castle courtyard in the capital? Like right in front of us? Like why would Seto be in the desert?

I don't know.

Maybe that was not the capital where Sad Seto watched his not-wife die? Maybe that was somewhere else? Geography in Yugioh is such a mobius strip I've sort of gotten used to this.

Anyway, Seto is in the desert, and it may have been something we found out and I forgot because my fatigue is kicking my ass but like...I'll accept it because it's very funny to me that he's hiking around sand in that outfit, comes over a dune, and just sees those God card he REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted 4 seasons ago but lost to Yugi Muto just mocking him up there in the sky.

Also Seto believes in magic now. It was a very abrupt thing but it had to happen eventually. Better late than never, I guess.

And then the Egyptian Gods freakin biffed it.

Isis and Shimon would be shaking their heads about how they died for freakin nothing from their afterlife plane, if any of this were in fact actually happening and not a weird simulation in Yami Muto's mind that is in a puzzle wired to Yugi Muto's brain.

Speaking of which, back at Yami's tomb, Yugi is having a meltdown.

It's part of his creative process, having a meltdown. Yugi would have massive creative block without his routine. That's just world building.

Yami is also going through his spin cycle, now that the moon blocked out the sun and we don't have any way to fix that.

Except we actually do have away to fix that, we used it in Season 1 when we went up against Mako Tsunami (don't ask me how I remember that random fact but don't remember what I ate for breakfast) but the problem with the ancient Egyptian version of this card game is you can really only summon like 1-3 cards at a time. So, they're boned.

And now it's Seto's turn to fix Yami's problems, which like, wouldn't be the first time, wouldn't it?

Problem is, this Seto is just SO BAD at cards.

I really should've put the towel on this shot ps but like...I got tired. I got a bad fatigue week, so we're gonna go au naturale with this episode.

Now one of y'all did a fancy reblog and showed how Zorc looked in the Japanese version which can I say--is SPICY. Like the US version tried to connect the neck more with the neck of the dragon, so it's like a tummy dragon instead of peen but it uh...doesn't work from this angle, does it?

I'm just still reeling about how there is a dragon dick and it aired on kid's tv and they fully got away with it.

Love Sick 2024 11/15 The series has arrived at the couple era for the main and secondary couples and is moving into the struggles before the end. As was to be expected with such a big cast not all of the stories get the consistent attention to make it a wholly satisfying watch.

Fourever You 8/16 The Bas Maxky story is not working for me and if it wasnt for Ngern Pond and Earth Cooheart I would have dropped this already.

Usotoki Rhetoric 6/10 I love this exploration of what a lie is. Especially since the parameters for the poor gentleman detective comedy have become more established

Light of my Lion 6/11 Its getting deeper and deeper into the definition of family

See Your Love 6/13 The mutual appreciation and the resulting motivation make this a standout feel good show.

Blue Canvas of Youthful Days 10/12 Gettingthe promise of a separation and the finalisation for Tan and Liu makes a heartbreaking last act for Xiao and Lu more likely. All being made easier by the youthfullness and care that they show in their interactions.

Bad to Bed 4/10 The weekly look at queer life or queer issues makes this a community building project. I am not sure if it has an overarching narrative.

Our Youth / Miseinen 3/11 Technically and storywise the most enganging right now.

Eccentric Romance 14.11.24 6/10 Relies on the murder for the plot but doesnt take it seriously. Which means that it is easy to watch but lacks any kind of impact.

My Best Boyfriend 15.11.24 6/10 They have good chemistry and a good story could have been built on that but it got bogged down by side plots presumably to keep the supporting cast engaged which means that this cliffhanger ending leaves a bad taste and does not really encourage the support the creator is asking for.

These are my full notes & thoughts.... aka one big rant👀

Okay so a quick reminder that I watched the German dub of season 4 so if I mention voice actors it's always the German ones. Oh, and I don't consider anything post movie #1 canon. Okay that's it, thank you. Now let's start the rant.

Episode 1:

yeh this season is so cringe, okay? i watched 26 episodes and i feel like nothing really happened? the plot was so lame and slow. i mean, look what happens in s1-s3 in all the episodes. there was so much more going on. it was just relationship drama and unncecessary i gotta say. if they have to write rivusa so toxic then why don't they simply break them up and give them a harmonic ending? maybe being friends is better for them? also no fan of musa becoming a girly bitch with long hair. give me back my tomboy. i have to say too: a season without the trix is no real season even though the wizards are cool. also faragona is so useless let's don't talk about that. and the winx were teachers for ONE episode and after that they are like: meh no we live now our ugly love and pet life in gardenia. the pets, the PETS. i HATE them. they are so ugly. I mean the pixies had a plot they had to fulfill. they had a SENSE in the winx universe. the pets are just ...ugh. not cute. Then Roxy: my opinion on her: she's a bit over dramatic but fine i guess? still wonder why her wings are so big if she is no believix fairy. nebula, diana and aurora were really cool but come on, we did not really need this season. then the criticism that everyone has: wtf with the second movie. where does it take place? why is nabu alive? why do they have their beliviex? it's just that this season was rushed and the plot was meh. and i know it gets worse so let's face it. winx ended after the first movie and this is an ass ugly boring and lame written ff au.

1. Having friends is important to being healthy. So maybe try to make some? Even tho it's kinda hard

My goblin monkey brain gets bored and/or distracted too easily watching dramas, like I've been in situations where I say I soooo love a drama after watching two or five episodes of it and then gets too busy to continue and/or my monkey brain can't be bothered to pick up anymore

So it's considered a big success for me when i can cling and am still interested in a drama for 10 episodes continuously and not only looking for its spoilers on tumblr lol

List of dramas I've either dropped out of drained brain juice and/or not enough time and/or just can't be bothered, in no particular order (some not listed here are the ones i forgot that i watched and then dropped lol)

1. Joseon Attorney (im sorry Woo Do Hwan i loved you in The King and Mad Dog 🥺)

2. Tell Me That You Love Me (plsss i loved the first two episodes sm and then i couldn't be bothered to continue it idek don't ask)

3. Call It Love (i uhh...i love the lethargic vibe but my brain couldn't brain the gloom)

4. Dr. Romantic 3 (okay i didn't drop this completely. It took me a while to watch it again. I did it for Kim Min Jae yh)

5. Vincenzo (idk why)

6. A Shop for Killers (look i watched this until ep6 and then my brain juice decided to say goodbye to me)

7. Moving (look i loved this one. But i very nearly dropped it for good after that one hiatus and then my sister got me to finish it with her) (just a little disappointed Kang Hoon was still alone in the end)

8. Tomorrow (im sorry Rowoon my brain juice couldn't be bothered idk i think it's got to do with the momentum. I kept looking up Joong Gil and Goo Ryeon spoilers tho lol)

9. Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist (i didn't finish season 2. Or maybe i didn't even pay attention to season 2 i can't remember what happens in that season lmao. I just wanted the two mains to be happy)

10. Today's Webtoon (sorry Sejeong-ah i love you in BP and Busted)

11. Lovers of the Red Sky (the momentum. Yh I'm pretty sure it's because of that. I love both of the leads in other dramas)

12. Daily Dose of Sunshine. (Too sad. Hits too close to home)
