Every time I make dinner, there's always a moment where I imagine Heathcliff eating what I make, and him liking it ... also, a few weeks ago, I was left to cook independently, and I managed to make everything myself. The whole thing made me really happy, and it made me think about how Sherry would feel if she successfully cooked a meal all by herself ... and also Heathcliff feeding into her pride by complimenting her and ruffling her hair.

I Wouldn’t Trade What We’ve Got For Anything

With the arrival of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 this December, I thought I would get back into the swing of things with this piece of the one and only Miles "Tails" Prower sharing a hug with his adoptive big sister Bunnie Rabbot from the Archie comics.

Since there are rumors swirling around of Tails getting a spinoff soon, I think including Bunnie in whatever story they might tell would definitely bring a bittersweet sibling dynamic to the screen.

Okay don’t hate me and all…

But why do people keep saying Hunter & Crosshair are basically Omega’s father figures/dads?

Like they’re her little brothers, acting like her older brothers.

Why isn’t anyone saying that rather than them being father/adult figures to her?

Idk just feels off cause like what if new viewers think that rather than as siblings?

I get their taller / more older looking due to accelerated aging, but that shouldn’t mean their father figures based on looks and actions.

Their little brothers having to step up and be the older sibling protectors of Omega (which honestly I wish she got a growth spurt or something in the prison with Crosshair cause the short look shouldn’t be throughout the show if she is to be seen as who she is, the older sibling (like not even half Crosshair/Hunter’s height? Not even…)

(Which dang that makes me sad since the only clones we see post this timeline wise isn’t them) (how did no one ever find a cure for it/reversal?)

“Oh I’m worst” Crosshair basically screams little brother banter.

Anyway yeah… I just want these brothers to be seen as their younger brother selves, despite everything.

Also Omega needing a major growth spurt before the end would be so nice.

Tired of her being the little one need of protecting.

Look I get she matured from the prison, but she still is my least fave of the characters. Doesn’t help her voice still sounds off for her character who hasn’t even yet gotten through puberty/an actual growth spurt.

Really wish she got taller than Hunter and Crosshair and for once is finally seen as the older sister she should/is. I mean I know she’s naive cause she was sheltered, but surely she has to be still after everything?!

🍀 - Let's go outdoors! - Gremio and Tir (Parental F/O, Kin Self Insert)

First night on the Run

In which we have to camp for the first time ever.

"Alright, that's far enough for the day," Viktor dropped his bag to the side of the road, "This looks like a good enough spot to camp." He stretches his thick arms above his head, then collapsed into the lush grass.

"Camp?!" Gremio practically shrieked as he approched Viktor, "Didn't you say you were taking us to Lenankamp to meet some friend of yours???"

"Yeah, but we're not makin' it there before sun down and my legs are tired."

"So- What?? You expect us to??? Sleep out here?? By the roadside??? Where any number of Bandits or- Or monsters could get to us???"

"Yeah, pretty much," Viktor rested his arms behind his head and closed his eyes, completely unphased by Gremio's panicking.

Gremio opened his mouth to continue, but Cleo's hand on his shoulder made him pause.

"It'll be alright, Gremio. Surely you've had to camp while traveling before? It's not that bad, and there's hardly any bandits this close to the castle."

Gremio tightened his grip on his bag straps, then sighed, "Right... You're right Cleo it. Should be fine. I just... The young master's never camped before so I just.. worry-"

Viktor suddenly sat up, "Woah, hold on, kid," he turned his attention to Tir, who had been slowly trudging behind the party the entire way, "you've NEVER camped before?"

Tir shook his head no and Viktor gave a wide smile in response before jumping back to his feet, "Well then it's your lucky day!" The bear of a man threw his muscled arm over Tir's shoulder's, pulling him close, "Tonight we're roughin' it under the stars, and I'll teach you everythin' you need to know about campin'!"

Tir blinked, catching up out of his gloom, "We're... not going to Lenankamp...?"

"We're not gonna make it there tonight," Cleo explained, placing her bag beside Viktor's on the roadside, "so we're camping here. We should also figure out dinner."

"Tir and I can handle that!" Viktor proclaimed, "Wha'da say, kid, let's go huntin'!"

Tir tensed at the prospect of hunting, freezing up like a statue. Before Viktor could question him, Gremio pulled his axe from his back, "I'll handle dinner." He spoke with no room for argument, "Cleo, Young Master, would the two of you kindly gather some firewood?"

"We're on it." Cleo have a half salute, nudging Tir with her shoulder. The boy gave a weak smile, releasing the tension he was holding.

"What about me? This was MY idea after all." Protested Viktor.

Gremio gave the man a wary glance as he tied his long blond hair into a tight bun, he clearly still didn't trust him, "You can sit here and watch our bags." He practically hissed, before turning heel and walking into the nearby woods, Axe in hand.

Viktor huffed, Cleo laughed at Gremio's curtness before following after him. Tir hesitated a moment, then troted after Cleo, giving a glance over his shoulder to Viktor, who had collapsed back into the grass.

"This is AMAZING." Viktor spoke around a mouthful of rabbit stew, taking another large chug from his bowl.

"That's our Gremio," Cleo added another ladle full into her own bowl, "I guess I shouldn't be surprised he brought so much kitchen equipment with him."

Viktor reached for the ladle to refill his bowl from the pot hanging over the fire, but Gremio quickly snatched it out of his range.

"You've already had three bowls, and I said there was only enough for two!"

Viktor gave some half hearted whine, complimenting how good it was again, before Gremio took his empty bowl with a huff. Cleo laughed at the two of them bickering, she could only imagine the headache Gremio would have if Pahn was with them as well.

"Young master..." Gremio's voice was suddenly soft, Viktor glanced over to see Tir sitting with a full bowl, slowly stirring the cooling stew, "You should eat, before it gets cold."

Tir had been quiet the entire trip, and while Viktor didn't know the details, he knew the group was wanted by the Emperor, fleeing their home, and by the looks of the kid, leaving the capitol for the very first time.

"m not... hungry..." Tir mumbled, his head hung low. Viktor scooted closer to him.

"Hey, come on kid, you gotta eat. We got a lotta walkin' to do tomorrow. Plus this is REALLY good." He tried, but Tir just continued stirring his stew, staring into the bowl as he did.

Viktor could tell Tir's mood was contagious to the other two, Cleo had started mimicking him, stirring and not eating her own stew, and Gremio had placed his own half eaten bowl to the side. Viktor let out a sigh.

"Well that's just too bad, I was hoping I could show you my super special magic trick."

Tir blinked out his daze and finally raised his head, "Magic?" He questioned, "YOU can do Magic?"

Viktor laid back in the grass, his arms under his head, "Yeah. I can read your future by the lines left in your bowl."

"Really?" By the tone of his voice it didn't sound like Tir was believing a word Viktor said, but at least it snapped him out of his own head.

"Sure. Old ladies do it with tea leaves an' shit all the time. How hard could it be?" Tir glared at him, one of challenge, not malice. Viktor sat up and smirked, "What, don't believe me? Let me prove it then." He pointed to Tir's bowl, "Finish your dinner and I'll prove it."

"That was dumb." Gremio glared down at Viktor as he stamped out the camp fire.

"But it worked." Viktor said smugly, laying comfortably on his back in the grass.

"Tch..." Was all Gremio could give in response. The man looked out across the field to where Cleo and Tir were watching glowing flies. "...Thankyou."

"What was that?" Viktor rolled his head back, looking up at Gremio.

"I said thankyou. For helping our young master. And us..." He gave Viktor a glance, genuine and soft, then turned heel and walked over to Cleo and Tir.

Viktor rolled onto his stomach and watched as Gremio removed his cape and draped it over Tir as he spoke to Cleo. He watched Tir argue something back, making Cleo laugh before ruffling his hair, which prompted Gremio to swat her off before fixing the kid's hair, fussing over wrappign him in the large green cape at the same time.

What a weird group, Viktor thought, watching the three go about, weird... In a good way. Viktor smiled to himself.

Odessa will love them, for sure.

re: drive, do what you did with your sister when y'all went to Texas but alone?

when i drove from San Francisco to essentially Vancouver on my way to Alaska, it was literally like every other road trip except i had to call all the shots. which was stressful af since this wasnt a For Fun trip so i asked for a buddy on my way back down

oh!! you can bring like a plushie and take photos of it in places :3 that is your travel buddy

ah!! yeah, see, the biggest problem is that my sister did most of the planning for that trip skdhfskdg

it is,,, mmmmm,,, well part of it is that i'm going to be flying instead of driving! since it's a 30hr drive :') which is Fine and Okay except i have to go through 2 of the busiest US airports by myself with next-to-no experience :'))) i may or may not be very nervous about that lmao

but other than that it's also gonna be a longer trip! im going for about a week (probably, i know i'll be leaving saturday but idk what day i want to return home yet) whereas my trip to texas with my sister was 3 days, as was my trip with my other sister when we went to california! (<- that was also my only airport/plane experience thus far) so im gonna have more time there to actually Do Things as opposed to just... Day 1. Arriving, Day 2. Doing the Single Thing, and then Day 3. Leaving

that said though, a travel buddy actually sounds like a very good thing for me to bring!! ive done similar things on big family road trips where we would stop to remember to take photos, though those were more of Us than anything else, but i think it would be a nice way to remember to actually TAKE photos!! as well as helping me actually stay calm enough to figure things out :)
