Okay on the other side of the coin of Mike ‘hiding in the shadows’ and struggling to come to terms with what happened to him after sister location, Mike who’s fuckin over the moon excited to be a zombie. He loves Halloween and horror and he thinks he looks absolutely awesome (even if it does suck sometimes that he has to stitch himself back up but still, the stitching is cool). He came home that night after picking himself up off the sidewalk, looked in the mirror and just went ‘FUCK YEAH!’ with a big grin on his face bc to him, he had just won the lottery.
-
Jeremy, upon seeing Mike, in horror, “oh my god”
Mike, looking in the mirror, excited, “OH MY GOD!!”
/j they’re both excited. Mike loves zombies and so does Jeremy lol
-
Mike who specifically gets a job at the Freddy’s horror location bc ‘Jeremy. I fit right in. See? Isn’t that great?!’ And then his dad just so happens to be there and Mike’s kinda disappointed bc he was actually excited for this job but now he has to commit arson.
-
Like sure people who see him walking around town completely purple question it but he’s also the man who has the 12 foot Home Depot skeleton in his yard year round so they actually don’t look too closely into it. They figure he’s just Like That.
-
He gets jobs as a scare actor and just has the time of his life. His coworkers always ask how he gets his costume to look so realistic and he just throws out a thin lie that he dresses up like this everyday so he’s a pro at it by now.
-
His hand just falls off one day from the decomposition. Him and Jeremy are just staring at it on the ground and,
“Think it’ll go back on?”
It does not so Mike ends up getting a prosthetic hook in place of his hand like Foxy’s and now he’s even more excited bc he’s a pirate zombie.
-
Man has zero fucks left to give. If someone calls the ghostbusters or an exorcist he’ll deal with it then. Until then, he’s going to have the time of his life running around like something right out of a horror movie bc honestly, it’s what he’s always wanted to do. There was a reason him and his friends always wore those masks - he loved dressing up and scaring people and still does! Sure he still feels crushing guilt over what happened to Evan but he knows now how not to take it too far. And hey, places are paying him to do this now so he might as well make the most of it.

does Little Pocket have any weird small town traditions? Annual festivals? Oddly specific cryptids? Seems like every small town has at least one or all of those
Oh heck yeah! The one big thing that's happened recently isn't as much a tradition or cryptid or anything as much as it's just a strange occurrence, which is- you know those 12 foot skeletons you can get from home depot? Yeah, so someone's made it their mission to place one of those around town in various different places and poses during october for... no discernible reason. Whoever's been moving the thing is good too, seeing as no one's ever actually figured out who's doing it. Rumors are abound though!
Apart from that though, the town also holds spring festivals every year, which while initially made to celebrate the establishment of the town, is now mostly an excuse for people to get together and make a lot of food.

Code Orange
If you are new to Halloween (seasonal) collecting as a hobby you may have recently heard or seen the term "Code Orange" In regard to Home Depot getting a limited supply of their popular twelve foot tall skeleton, Frankenstein Monster, and other new, large Halloween decorations, being put on sale to celebrate the half-way mark to Halloween. Code orange is a term for Halloween collectors to alert other Halloween collectors that a well-known store is putting out Halloween merchandise for sale in the off-season or early part of "Spooky Season" / Halloween season. This is usually for big stores like Walmart and not tiny local shops. It's a way saying "Heads up, Boils and Ghouls, this store that might be in your own neighborhood has Halloween merch."

Historic 1769 Colonial style home in Keymar, MD has been renovated and redecorated in a variety of styles. Firstly, they painted the distinctive brick exterior pale gray, with an orange door. It doesn't look bad, but it's not the traditional, iconic look. It has 4bds, 4ba, 5,227 sq ft, and they're asking $3m. If you are a purist when it comes to historic homes, you probably won't like it.
Now, remember- I said that it was done in a variety of styles. The entrance hall has Oriental themed wallpaper. They stripped the newel post and railing on the stairs and left it bare wood, (I like that look, but it needs a flat protective finish, b/c it's going to get very dirty), plus a new floor has an inlaid border.
The light fixture was removed from the ceiling medallion and they did a copper-look design on it.
The sitting room is very non-traditional with it's bright green walls but the ceiling mural has a colonial scene. Above the fireplace they have colored mirror squares.
The next room has a large jungle leaf print and a wooden hippo, elephant, plus a trunk.
This room has a wall of shelving and opens to hall stairs.
The family room has a dark, rustic, nautical look with black and deep green walls. This room has wood paneling that was painted over, plus a brick trim around the top. I wonder if they darkened the brick.
I have seen faux aged walls, but this one looks like black mold. It's well done, but unusual. They left the pocket doors and beadboard, but painted them dark gray. Ironically, the sink cabinet looks very colonial.
The tub has a framed skull print above it and some stuffed animals on the ledge. The shower is modern.
The dining room is gray & black with a French cabinet. The table is a pine colonial.
The large kitchen has a rustic ceiling and 3 different cabinet colors- blue, gray, and colonial red. The ceiling looks like flooring to me. The glassware cabinet looks French.
The open concept space has a dining room with a big stone fireplace and stripped doors on the patio. The gold glassware shelf is a French pastry stand.
The primary bedroom has a traditional look. Nice big fireplace in here. The wood paneling was painted white and there's a mural on the coffered ceiling.
This smaller bedroom has nice wallpaper. It even has a colonial rocking horse in the fireplace.
This is a lovely bath. I like the cabinet and closets.
There's a 2 car garage with a space between that they've turned into a home gym/man cave. There's also a sleeping area.
They painted this beautiful barn-turned-home a dark gray, including this wonderful brick wall on the side.
It's lovely inside with slate flooring.
There's also storage for the big Home Depot skeleton.
This garage has a sitting room downstairs and more of a hangout space upstairs.
The main house has a patio.
Lots of space. There's even another small stone building.
There's also a pond on the 25.02 acres of property.

comment sections about big age gap celeb relationships are usually infested by such incels defending those relationships. / I’m a 25 year old woman, not an incel. I see nothing wrong with age gap relationships. I actually want to end up with someone older. Two mature, consenting adults can do whatever tf they want. Of all the things wrong with Alba, the age gap isn’t one. “Age appropriate” is a bunch of bs. How many “age appropriate” couples do we see who look absolutely miserable? Hell, there’s one we talk about here all the time who are a great example of that. 👀 The last woman/costar he looked genuinely happy around was 16 years younger than him and they probably had way more in common than him and the Home Depot Skeleton do, that’s for sure. Once you enter adulthood, age is, to a certain extent, but a number.
Alba ain’t a problem because she’s young. She’s a problem because she’s shown herself to be a shitty person. Period.

The squirrels have been really aggressive this year. We had five pumpkins: three large and two small, and they completely decapitated one of the little ones while two of the big guys suffered wounds.
We adapted and made zombie pumpkins with a tube of fake blood we had lying around.
Happy Halloween! 🎃
#Bob the 12' Home Depot Skeleton is likewise a success#it's eight p.m. and we're completely out of the big bars#there's one bucket of the smaller candy packets left and even that is dwindling#some kid called us That House which means we fucking win#I'm not sure what we win but we definitely win something#notoriety I hope#infamy otherwise
