If you're an adult in fandoms for children's media,you have to be nice to the kids in them.The creators for the shows and books and games and so forth may be adults but they made them to cater to KIDS.I'm using 'cater' because it's become a buzzword to try to silence minors when they're uncomfortable with things like proshipping when,again,yes it literally IS 'catered' to them so they have a right to say what should and shouldn't exist in their fandoms.I'm not saying it's bad to be an adult who's super into children's media and in fact half the reason i'm making this post is that i fall under that due to my type of autism and as a way healing my inner child from a lot of trauma and i'm sick and tired of watching you overgrown tar pits bullying minors in their own damn spaces and then acting like they're actually yours

You have no right to mock them for being young or insult their headcanons and art and fics because they don't line up with your headcanons that you think are objectively superior with no basis other than your egos or call them weird for doing crossovers of their interests because it makes them happy and helps them develop their writing skills without needing to get a professional involved.You want to be horny about the adult characters and write darker topics with respect and both with proper tags?Go right ahead,nothing inherently wrong with either.But sexualizing characters who've always been underaged in canon and calling writing taboo relathionships that're taboo because they have abusive dynamics and have been proven to be used to abuse irl people(in///cest and age gap headasses,i'm looking at you)and not just 'cencorship' or whatever has no place existing to begin with but especially not in elementary/middle/high school franchises

I have this weird head cannon that I got from absolutely nowhere that Tadashi is deathly afraid of rodents. Like full blown squealing and jumping if he hears so much as a single squeak.

You don’t mean to be a bad girlfriend but it’s just the slightest bit comical. Like the time you were helping him deep clean his moped in the alley behind his aunts cafe.

“We couldn’t do this inside?” You asked with sweat dripping down your face as you took a rag and scrubbed the dusty moped.

Tadashi took his hat off and pushed his sweaty hair back with his hand. “Hiro’s being petty and locked me out because I called his prototype design stupid.”

“So this is your fault?” You gestured to the sweat spots on your shirt.

He laughed. “You can have first dibs on my shower.”

“Damn, thought we were gonna do that together.” You shook your head and felt his eyes stare at the side of your face.

“We can just finish it tomorrow.” Tadashi stood up from his squaring position and lifted you up by your hand.

You laughed as he draped his arm over your shoulder. While walking towards the backdoor a small scratching noise came from behind a piece of a wooden crate. But the scratch suddenly started squeaking.

“What the hell is that.” Tadashi’s voice completely dropped as his eyes focused in on the crate.

“Umm,” you squinted at the crate until a small gray rat came crawling out from behind the crate.

If the neighbors heard someone screaming at the tops of their lungs they would have thought that person was being stabbed to death. Nope, your (much bigger and more predatory) boyfriend was cowering in fear at the sight of a rat.

He booked it, leaving you behind with the rat towards the backdoor and shut it behind him. By the time you got to the house you were already laughing.

Tadashi was sitting on the counter trying to avoid anything crawling from touching his ankles. “STOP LAUGHING!”

You tried. The screaming was one thing but you broke with your boyfriend booking it down the alley while screaming. “I’m sorry, I-I’m so sorry. It’s n-not fuh-funny!”

You two did take your shower, but you spent the entire time reassuring him that the squeaking he was hearing was all in his head.

Coming completely out of left field, I give you Booey

These are all doodles made during art blocks that I've been having fun with so I went back to clean up and color them for yall^^ Uhh some thoughts and the two screenshots I referenced under the cut

First up dog breeds:

There wasn't any thought put into Cass when I started because of these being block breakers, so I just picked what'd be recognizable/cute, that being a border collie. I sketched Cass and Hiro the same day so he didn't have much thought either other than it was imperative that he have only one floppy ear because, as stated previously, it's cute.

A few weeks go by and I start working on these again. I started sketching Tadashi which got me to think about the breeds a little more since I wanted Hideo and Kate to be different dogs. Ended up going with Kai Ken on a whim which maaaan kinda regret a teeny bit because he should've been a Kishu Ken but I forgot about em. It would've been much more fitting for Hideo to be a Kishu Ken instead since the breed originates from the Kansai region where Hideo's from. ((Technically. Kishu Kens actually originate from the Kii/Kishū Province, now modern day Wakayama and Mei Prefectures, both of which are in the Kansai region))

Anyway the Kai Ken thing presented a problem when I started coloring these yesterday because Kais are brindle and uhhh that's hard to translate into the Bluey style lmao. Still not thrilled with it, but ah it's fine these are just for fun. I was going to make Cass and Kate the same color but they kept looking way too similar so Kate got the black coat while I made Hideo warmer. Voilà

I referenced the last two sketches from Stickbird and Cricket.
