Prediction:

The preview with the guy unable to control himself who choked out Buck (Jesus that's a poor choice of words but we balll) is a metaphor.

911 loves their metaphors.

Basically Eddie still crashes the date but Buck ain't acknowledge it.

Based on the interview he's going to have to prove to Tommy/work harder or Tommy's gonna want to be open with their relationship (maybe this is 50/50 honestly).

The choking is literally Buck choking on his feelings and words of telling people and letting them know how he feels and his new identity. He's on edge and maybe feels like he can't control himself.

Remember this is a man who overshares with everyone he meets. Even strangers on calls. They're gonna know when he's more quiet or nervous.

When the stills come out my predictions will probably be more accurate but even though he's just let out a breath he's still choking on the rest when he steps outside.

And that in itself is really scary.

My perhaps little controversial take, is that main reason that Buck was so comfortable with tommy was because he didn't have to compromise on his buckeddie time at all. Tommy didn't encrouch on it at all and he liked Eddie too which previous love interests didn't. Buck who said Eddie's name multiple times before his first kiss with him who absolutely just spent this last 6 months just gushing about Eddie without abandon rather than actually get to know his romantic partner. You can't change my mind on this after this ep. And didn't even question for second about using his 6 month anniversary gift ( which he didn't even like but changed his mind when it could be used as a 'platonic' date with Eddie rather than his boyfriend ) Damn, Loser bf Buck is so real unfortunately. Love him anyways. Also I want to stress I ain't no tommy defender, but honestly it's so tragic for tommy as man what were you doing?
