look, I know that not too long ago I made a post abt shipping 8-ball w/ someone else BUT-

8-Ball In Art Pixel Animation! (Piskel) Sprinkles: Next is 8-ball from the BFDI series, he had the chance to participate in BFDI as a recommended character, but received 8 votes, coincidence, then he participated in BFB, which behaves like a team leader going head to head with Golf Ball , there is a scene where he bites the jawbreakers at 8:00 minutes into the video, another coincidence and there was a time when he is eliminated in the eighth episode of BFB, another coincidence, when he is crushed to death he evaporates into the Saw metal, What made her hurt herself, in the character's highlight, is that he says he doesn't have his favorite number, but just take a look at this mirror and you'll see his favorite number, which is 8, simple and easy to discover (but he he has no hands or legs, so he asks an object or a person who has a mirror to turn it to you so that his number stays on top of you like a birthmark) and that's basically what I know about him.

Golfball & 8-Ball's Arc + the misinterpretations that came from it

I'm just gonna start from the beginning of their arc and also compare it to Donut/Golfball's current arc, which people say is the new/better 8golf rivalry (and reminder this is my personal interpretation, which can be argued against ; if you have something to add onto don't be afraid to :3) this is going to be VERY long so its under the cut! [part 1/2!]

Of course the whole reason 8-Ball became leader of ABNTT was because in BFB 1, Golfball decided to disrespect/insult Grassy for whatever reason. In BFB 2 Grassy tells Blocky about this and how he wants to be respected, and since he's semi-friends with the team leader he tells Grassy he'll talk about it to her (before being reminded that he killed her). When ABNTT eventually get her out of the jawbreaker, she seems to not take Blocky's statement seriously.

[Blocky: Golfball, we need to talk to you about something. Grassy tells me you haven't been treating him with respect.] [Golfball: Oh, come on. Really? Grassy?] Off-screen, the team had chosen 8-Ball as their team leader seemingly being aware Golfball wouldn't really care about Grassy. Clearly, she was opposed to this, as she's always been in the position of leader and is very unsure of what to do, requesting Tennis Ball's help knowing the other Better Namers wouldn't listen to her. TB states that they also didn't listen to him, and the scene ends there. Going forward, we can assume 8-Ball will try his best to lead and not listen to GB in any way in order to defy her. In BFB 3, when GB tries to give instructions, everything she says is reversed by 8B. [Golfball: Okay guys, spin forward.] [8-Ball: Okay guys, spin backward.] [Team swing spins backwards.] [Golfball: *gasp* You didn't obey me! People! You can't be serious!] Basketball reminds her of the events in BFB 2, and how she is no longer the leader. They basically ignore her statements (even Tennis Ball, despite the fact that he tried to help her; it's likely he did this to not suffer the repercussions that the team would give him if he listened to GB even if he wanted to), even if they know it'll lead them to victory, as that's Golfball's priority here. She eventually realizes she can just say her statements backwards and eventually the team becomes 3rd safe offscreen. In BFB 4 the team decide to waste nearly the entire 15 minutes they are given for the challenge because Golfball told them not to. She ends up not saying anything to them, or at least, not that the viewers could see, and TB's reaction doesn't give a hint as to if she was asking them to earlier.

When TV's timer runs out, GB lets out a sigh of relief and grabs supplies for them to draw something for Four. However, when Grassy grabs a marker and gets ready to draw, he doesn't end up drawing anything with 8-Ball's instructions (because he had the marker too high..). When GB notices they were absolutely going to lose if she didn't defy THEM, she takes the marker for herself and draws the Four we see in the episode in the last two seconds, with the other members attempting to hold her back and repeating "TREASON TREASON TREASON". When Four takes the paper away from her and is rating DPact&ABNTT's drawings, she is the only one from her team watching him rank, with a very worried expression on her face. She isn't relieved when Four says they barely win, and speaks her concern to the team. THIS is the scene that people tend to either misunderstand or completely forget when talking about this arc. When 8-Ball processes what GB says mid-way through saying it backwards, he realizes that his actions nearly caused them to be UFE. 8-Ball says that all he wanted to do for the team was add some fun into the mix and light up the mood, stating he was being sarcastic when he was saying the opposite instructions. However, due to his already monotone voice, and the fact that he never clarified this, nobody was able to tell that he was playing around and they were just listening to him because they didn't want to listen to GB. It's very clear that he's remorseful in this scene, even sounding like he's about to cry (which he does). Golfball's reacts to this with understanding, the tone of her voice being soft despite the fact they almost lost because of his actions. Her eyebrows are furrowed and she has an almost sincere smile (similar to -> (Ó⁠‿⁠Ò) ), for both him acknowledging his mistakes and thinking that maybe now her team will understand that it would be best to have her as leader to avoid any sort of mistake like this in the future. However, her teammates, not getting the memo, decide to still ignore Golfball to her face even though 8-Ball apologized right in front of them with every member hearing what he said. Even though they nearly almost lost, they still didn't want to acknowledge Golfball's ability to lead because..? Probably just pettiness. In BFB 5 the Better Namers have 1 scene. 2 lines total. And it's between TB&GB. They have like 6 seconds of screentime literally nothing happens here. In BFB 6, Basketball still refers to 8-Ball as leader as they [gb/8b] never really outright stated that GB was their leader again, and GB is surprised yet happy when 8-B redirects Basketball's problem to her. With GB's plan to get rid of Four, they all get onto the little sled and use their combined weight to push Donut into Four. Nobody seems to have a problem with GB leading them, although this could be just because they're desperate to get rid of him. The team dance in unity when her plan is successful!

When the challenge begins, Golfball addresses her teammates and tells them her plan is to go to the moon. However, 8-B starts to do what he had done prior, not even getting halfway through his opposite sentence before Golfball reminds him: "You said you'd stop that!" She says this in a pretty harsh tone, but not in a mean manner and more of a concern that they'll be close to losing the challenge yet again if the team decide to listen to 8-Ball. He looks back at her with an awkward/guilty smile. When the team lands on the moon, after GABOP latched on, GB is very much mad and frustrated about the fact that her plan didn't work. But they end up being safe, so it doesn't matter in the end. BFB 7 & 8 are very important episodes for their arc. GB comes up with the plan in BFB 7: for Robot Flower to translate their inputs in order to control Remote. She specifically says: [Golfball: We have to trust you, okay? Don't break the signal.] Under any circumstance, RF was not meant to break the signal. RF understands this and accepts to do the task. This could've been done, of course, and both GABOP / ABNTT could've been safe. But Remote, to protect herself, sends out a panic alert that would cause an explosion so strong it kills everyone on the moon, meaning both of their teams would be at stake. When the Better Namers realize something's wrong with Robot Flower, the team, in co-operation, work together to try and keep everything stable; GB listens to Blocky when she truly realizes that this situation is dire. When GB realizes that RF is back to normal and able to hear her, she immediately voices her distress on RF breaking the signal and visibly upset that she would break their trust. ABNTT is put UFE, and that ends their scenes. Then the botting happened. Golfball, originally 3rd safe, shoots up to 7th safe shortly after voting hit the 7-hour mark (source; honestly, this is hilarious to watch because of how painfully obvious it was). 8-Ball was basically doomed from the start, but GB getting botted actually either made the end of their arc better or worse, depending on your view (and to me, it's a bit of both). BFB 8: The end of their arc! Basketball's dialogue during the elimination is intentionally written to not directly be talking to either 8-B nor GB, only saying "team leader" and not specifying who. Considering she had begun to listen to GB and co-operating as seen in the past episode, it's not obvious who she was talking to, though it's assumed she was talking to 8-Ball. [Golfball & 8-Ball: Don't worry, Basketball. I will try my hardest to remain on the team to- Hey! Shush! She's talking to me. Whatever. It'll be so much easier when you're gone.] These few lines of dialogue are what people believe backpedaled 8-Ball into being who he was before BFB 4. However, remember, everything he did back then was meant to be sarcastic. In this case, however, I feel as though he was saying this more in a "I'll take control if GB's eliminated" type of manner, as opposed to GB's statement, which was more of "I hope you're eliminated". Even though GB did basically forgive him, she still thinks it would be easier to manage the team if he wasn't there, which could be plausible considering if he's gone they really have nobody else to turn to as being a sensible leader in her eyes.
