I’m bored here are some design notes …:P

- Jung-bae and Dae-ho are both animals affiliated with water because of their connection to the Marines. BUT… Dae-ho (as a fishing cat) is a wild cat that just so happens to inhabit wetlands and possess the ability to swim, while Jung-bae (as a seal) is quite literally a marine mammal. Seals rely on the marine ecosystem for their existence, fishing cats do not. One is clearly more qualified about this whole Marine thing than the other…

- Dae-ho being a fishing cat (a medium sized wild cat) is also intentionally contradictory to his name meaning ‘big tiger’. Think of it as him not being able to “live up to his name”, I suppose

- In-ho being a fossa is all about fossas being visually feline-esque animals, but actually being from a completely different family known as eupleridae. Cut to the chase, I thought of it as a metaphor for seeming to be one thing but being another. And we all know what that refers to. (+ Jun-ho would also be a fossa by proxy and he already kinda looks like one. To me :3 win-win!)

As for donkey Gi-hun and Guinea pig Jun-hee… they were vibes pretty much. But one thing I can say about either of them is that 1) Relating to Gi-hun being a donkey, if I were to draw Ga-yeong she would be a mule. Which would make Eun-ji a horse. Which is funny because You Know. 2) Relating to Jun-hee being a Guinea pig, I wanted her and Myung-gi to both be rodents (MG is a squirrel LOL) and her hair with the blonde highlights reminded me of those tricolor guinea pigs…plus, Guinea pig - Jun-hee pig… Get it………

I ABSOLUTELY CAN:D I honestly have a lot of ideas for them pre-games Omg. I’ve just been putting off drawing them because 1. When I think about pre-games junghun for too long I get sad (lol…) and 2. I tend to default to drawing Gi-hun with the short hair…what can I say the dude pulls it OFF

Sorry I have faded into obscurity ONCE AGAIN first few days of this month I was artfight grinding and the rest I watched Squid Game s3(expect fanart Heheaheaha) and slept all day due to artfight induced lower back pain. Oooowwww. Also not going into too much detail but I have like😅hormonal issues that cause me even more anguish (which I will be getting checked out! But it may lead to a bit more inactivity. Idk.)
