Artifact Tournament Preview, Turnamen Pembuka Artifact Ramai dengan Pro Player TCG hingga Dota 2

Valve tengah mempersiapkan rilis game barunya yang merupakan adaptasi dari Dota 2 namun dengan gameplay ala Hearthstone, yaitu Artifact. Game kartu yang mengadaptasi universe dari Dota 2 ini memang akan rilis dalam waktu dekat, sementara itu Valve juga telah memberikan akses untuk memainkan game ini lebih dulu kepada influencer atau orang-orang yang memang memiliki andil besar dalam ekosistem Artifact kedepannya. Bukan hanya itu saja, Bukan hanya itu saja, bekerja sama dengan salah satu organizer yang cukup berpengalaman di industri esports mereka juga menggelar turnamen yang tengah digelar dengan mengundang pemain-pemain professional dari game kartu legendaris Magic The Gathering, Joel “heffaklumpen” Larsson, pemain Gwent, Mogawai hingga kapten juara Dota 2 The International 2018, Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi. https://twitter.com/wykrhm/status/1061778694849449984 Beberapa nama diatas merupakan bagian dari 128 pemain yang mendapatkan undangan untuk mengikuti turnamen Artifact ini. Ehome are the champions of DPL-CDA Season 2

Ehome took a 3-1 victory over Invictus Gaming on Sunday to become the DPL-CDA Professional League Season 2 champion. The team took home the top prize of $85,507 by winning the tournament. In May, Ehome also secured another title. The team won the Season 1 in a 10-team Dota 2 tournament to win $37,000 prize. In Sunday’s grand final, Ehome won the first two games and eventually secured the fourth game to become the champion.

Game 1

Ehome started the grand final with a style. Destroying Invictus Gaming and winning the game in just 33 minutes, uplifted Ehome’s confidence. Ehome finished game 1 as 18 – 42. The game trembled when Ehome’s Offlane Tiny and Midlane Puck started owning the map. Ehome chose a better draft and picked a better lockdown for Terrorblade. Tiny also carried a gem at a 32-minute mark to counter Mirana’s ultimate. As a whole, Ehome performed better and snatched game 1.

Game 2

Ehome got the Radiant side this time and showed even better performance. The game ended as 40 – 15, in the favor of Ehome. Once again, Ehome picked Spectre for Safelane. This time, Syler from his Spectre dominated the whole game by securing 17 kills on the board. The Troll Warlord pick by Invictus Gaming didn’t work at all. In the end, IG tapped out and called GG in 33 minutes. 

Game 3

Invictus Gaming came back and took game 3 of the series. The Midlane Kunka by Emo and Safelane Juggernaut by FlyFly delivered an unstoppable play during the game. Invictus Gaming dominated the whole time in game 3 and finished it as 35 – 12. Unlike IG, Ehome defended their base for a longer time. The Riki plus Mirana combo for Ehome failed very badly, thus giving IG an opportunity. Besides the dominating performance by Invictus Gaming in game 3, Ehome held the base for 38 minutes.

Game 4

In the end, the most thrilling game of the series came out. Ehome got the Radiant side and secured victory at the end. Game 4 came out as no less than a roller-coaster ride. The game ended as 24 – 21 in the favor of Ehome. Although Wraith King from Invictus Gaming tried the best to turn the tables, Magnus pick for Midlane by Ehome came out even stronger. Ehome finished the game in just 36 minutes to win the title in just 4 games.

The whole tournament brought some amazing plays for the fans. It came out as a big surprise for the fans of Ehome as the team finished seventh in the group stages of the tournament. Similarly, Invictus Gaming secured $37,053 by getting the second position in the tournament. IG reached the grand final all the way through the lower bracket of the playoffs. To reach the final, IG defeated Team Aster as 2 – 0 in 30 and 35 minutes. Team Aster took home $18,527 by securing the third position in the tournament.

NRG Esports Raih Trofi CS Summit Season 3 Setelah Taklukkan OpTic!

NRG Esports berhasil memenangkan ajang cs_summit 3 setelah berhadapan dengan OpTic Gaming, dan memenangkan seri best-of-five (Bo5) tersebut. Mereka juga membawa pulang uang sebesar US$63,750 atau sekitar 954 juta rupiah! cs_summit merupakan turnamen CS:GO yang memiliki tempat tersendiri di hati para pegiat esports CS:GO. Karena kita bisa melihat sisi lain dari ranah professional CS:GO. Jika kalian familiar dengan suasana rivalitas dari para tim yang bertanding, di cs_summit suasananya berubah 180 derajat. Acara yang diselenggarakan oleh Beyond The Summit ini menempatkan 8 tim dalam lingkungan yang lebih santai. Tepatnya mereka ditempatkan di sebuah rumah yang diberi nama Summit House. Semua kegiatan akan diadakan di dalam sana, ditambah dengan kegiatan seru oleh para pemain dan caster. Tidak hanya pemain, mereka juga menghadirkan para pemain profesional CS:GO untuk menjadi caster dan menambah keseruan di dalamnya. Sebut saja n0thing, Fifflaren, smooya, TaZ, dan tak ketinggalan Thorin. Kedelapan tim yang bertanding mayoritas datang dari luar top 10 tim dunia. Berikut jajaran tim yang bertanding di gelaran cs_summit season 3:

Hingga akhirnya dengan serangkaian pertandingan yang digelar, NRG memuncaki klasemen di upper bracket, sedangkan OpTic di lower bracket. Dan akhirnya OpTic juga memenangkan duelnya dengan BIG untuk maju ke championship bracket. NRG otomatis mendapatkan keunggulan 1 poin karena datang dari upper bracket, membuat NRG harus merebut hanya 2 poin untuk memenangkan seri ini. Map kedua jatuh kepada Nuke. NRG mendapatkan kemenangan di ronde pistol pertama berkat Ace dari CeRq. Performa dari nahtE dkk belum cukup membawa NRG unggul di CT sidenya dengan menutup first half dengan skor 7-8. OpTic memenangkan ronde pistol kedua dan akhirnya unggul 3 ronde di second half, namun NRG kembali memberi perlawanan, hingga akhirnya NRG kembali mendominasi di late game. Perlahan tapi pasti OpTic mencuri poin demi poin, hingga akhirnya NRG harus mengakui kekalahan dengan skor tipis 14-16.

Di Overpass, OpTic dapat menungguli NRG dengan skor 5-0, namun hingga unggul 7-3, cajunb dan kawan-kawan tidak dapat mempertahankan keunggulannya, membuka peluang NRG hingga akhirnya membuat skor imbang 7-8 untuk NRG. Setelah NRG berpindah ke CT side, mereka tidak menyisakan OpTic 1 ronde pun untuk dimenangi. NRG akhirnya menutup map pertama dengan skor 16-8. CeRq menjadi Most Valuable Player di map ini dengan rating 1.67. Map ketiga di turnamen ini adalah Mirage, di mana map ini merupakan mapunggulan dari NRG. Dengan NRG yang memulai di CT side, mereka berhasil menutup first half dengan skor 10-5. Angka itu menunjukan dominan dari NRG setelah mendapatkan 6 ronde berturut-turut. Setelah mereka pindah ke T side, mereka dapat mendapatkan momentum kemenangan dengan memenangkan 3 ronde pertama. Walaupun OpTic mencoba memberikan perlawanan dengan memenangkan 1 ronde, NRG kembali unggul dan akhirnya menutup seri ini dengan skor 3-1.

Selain itu, Brehze mendapatkan penghargaan berupa medali Most Valuable Player dari HLTV, karena performa yang impresif darinya, mencatatkan rating 1.34 di keseluruhan turnamen ini.
