Ensuring that our family receives necessary medical treatment and healthcare is crucial. We need funds to cover medical treatments, milk, and diapers for my baby, amounting to €500 monthly.

Escape the War

Our ultimate goal is to relocate to a safer place outside of Gaza hopefully to Egypt. The costs are significant, but the safety of our children and ourselves depends on it.

Coordination fee for leaving Gaza:

€10,000 per person. We need €20,000 to ensure both my wife, Azhar, and I can leave Gaza safely.

Travel and entry costs to Gaza: €2,000.

HOWEVER, you may be focusing on these possibilities through the eyes of others… living vicariously through others. What I mean by this is viewing people through social media, books, even in person and believing you can do what they do (which is fine) but through their experience or as them rather than you… I hope that makes sense. You may hold onto the super intense aspects of love or pleasure. This can be especially important regarding relationships! I will make a post on this a little later (it’s drafted), but the energy you’re in requires you to take a look at what ‘work’ you’re asking others to do for you. You need to focus on how you’re channeling the vibrant passionate energy you’re embodying at the moment.

The Energy You Need To Be In

As beautiful as your current energy is, you need to slow your roll a little bit here. Yes, hold onto the belief that things are going great for you— but you also need to ground yourself and savour the small moments too. Enjoy ALL the good things… right down to the perfectly crafted beverage. Take chances but double-check your trajectory first. Don’t just rush in, you’re in need of a balance right now. You’re in a phase of transition but divine timing is also at play. However, I feel like if you try to force things then you might end up bringing a 'tower moment' on yourself (if you’re about to panic, relax!) where you’re forced to take a look at what is truly important to you.

I feel like you need to be in an energy where, yes you’re surveying/assessing your surroundings, but you have to get up and do so instead of sitting around. You need to take action and expand your horizons. Be bold and go for it... I think you’ve got what you need. The consistent message is that doing nothing is not an option. Take a chance on what will fulfill your desires. Accepting endings is important and being able to move on. Allow yourself to transition to a fresh start.

Consider your image and how you show up as/interact with authority. Leadership. Especially emotional leadership. Parenting oneself and/or setting the example for how you want others to treat you. Create a safe home ‘base’ (internal or external) but don’t get stuck in it. Maybe ask yourself what creates home? Makes you feel safe/secure? You also could need to take a look at sibling relationships or any with a sibling like dynamic and factor in how you those affect how you show up is important to look at too. I think this could relate to blocks. But you need to place your roots first and then explore.

Trust yourself and make a move. Focus on your strengths and believe that you have gathered enough data to move forward. Structure and strategy are going to be your friends. Honor those ‘above’ you but hold onto your power. Set boundaries and hold other accountable (and yourself too).

Consequently, the responsibility of managing his business had fallen upon you, with the supportive assistance of Nick, Ari, Jake, and Andy. Despite their unwavering help, the task remained demanding, requiring significant time and effort on your part.

In typical Lloyd fashion, despite the doctors' best efforts, Lloyd adamantly refused to cooperate with them and resolutely refused to accept a designated nurse for his care. Consequently, you found yourself thrust into the role of his personal nurse, having to tend to his needs and ensure his recovery process went smoothly.

As the days dragged on, Lloyd's restlessness grew exponentially. Being confined to his room, with little freedom to move or engage in any productive activity, took its toll on his mind and spirit.

“I feel so damn useless,” he grumbled, his gaze fixed on the ceiling above him.

“You're healing,” you replied calmly, positioning yourself beside him. “You need to rest. We've got everything covered, don't you worry.”

Lloyd let out a sigh, his irritation clear as he expressed his desire to be useful. “But I want to help,” he protested. “I hate just sitting here, not doing anything.”

With a wicked smile, you proposed a bargaining chip that you knew he couldn't resist, “If you behave, and rest, I'll go down on you…” you suggested, your tone sultry.

Yep, that was the only way to get Lloyd to rest.

Though it took a considerable amount of time, Lloyd eventually recovered from his injuries. To mark his healing, he was adamant about taking you on a trip to Paris.

“You desperately need a vacation, Sugar!” he declared adamantly, disregarding any protests you might have had. “And what better place to unwind than the ‘City of Love’ itself?”

So, here you are now, walking through the bustling streets of Paris, hand in hand. You both visited famous landmarks, indulged in delicious French pastries, and just enjoyed each other's company.

As you walked hand in hand, a gentle breeze blowing through your hair, Lloyd smiled at you, grateful for this moment with you.

“Don’t even think about it,” you mutter, slurping on your strawberry daiquiri while you eye the smirking man from across the bar.

Your friend blinks at you innocently. “What are you talking about?” she says.

“Trust me,” you warn. “You don’t want to go there.”

Your friend licks her lips and glances back at the man leaning on the jukebox, riffling through the various options. For as long as you’ve known him, Jake Seresin has always been riffling through options, musical and otherwise.

“He’s going to rip your heart out,” you caution, lifting the straw out of your drink and chugging the rest of it right from the glass.

“He’s so beautiful.” Your friend pouts.

“Yes, he is,” you agree, setting your empty glass down while the pub starts to spin around you as if your bar stool is mounted atop a carousel. “He’s also the devil.”

Your friend laughs and you try to focus on her face with a stern expression. “You sound like you speak from experience,” she comments.

You grimace. “Unfortunately.”

“Don’t worry,” she says, rising from her seat. “I know what I’m getting myself into.”

You grab her hand. “No, you don’t. You think you’re just going to have a fun night, no strings attached. You think you’re going to be in control of the situation.” Your tone is almost pleading now as you wiggle your friend’s wrist. “He’ll have other plans, babe. He’s going to make you fall for him. You’re going to fall so hard.”

Your friend takes you by the shoulders, stabilizing you. “Y/N,” she says. “Are you in love with him?”

You cringe, suddenly extremely nauseated. “God, no!”

“Then he’s fair game, right?”

You wince. “You don’t want to do this,” you say, but your words come out a little bit slurred and you’re not so sure that your message has been received. Because your friend nods at you and starts for the damn cowboy in khakis with his sunglasses hanging off the collar of his uniform. You groan and promptly turn away, not at all eager to see your friend hit it off with the man who has made the last six months of your life a living hell. You wave down the bartender and request your fifth drink of the night, but who’s keeping count? Certainly not you.

You’re almost finished your beverage when your friend returns with a giant grin on her face. “I’m taking off,” she says excitedly.

“No!” you moan.

“Relax, not with Cowboy Casanova,” she replies. “His friend, though!” She winks at you. You glance over your shoulder to see one of the other aviators smiling sheepishly at your friend as she gives you a quick hug. “You’ll get home okay?” she asks in a hurry.

You nod. “Don’t worry, I’ll grab an Uber.”

“By the way,” she murmurs in your ear before taking off. “Pretty boy can’t keep his eyes off you.”

But she’s gone before you can respond with an assortment of your favorite profanities. You down the remainder of your drink in silence and then stand to pull your phone out of your pocket so you could call for a ride. You’ve already got the app open when he strolls into your periphery and starts drumming obnoxiously on the counter with the tips of his fingers. You lift your eyes grimly and watch as he flags down the bartender while completely ignoring your existence. You try not to let your body react the way it always does in his presence, but you’re already feeling your palms begin to sweat.

Then, he looks over at you, smirking when he sees that you’ve already spotted him. Your heart does a somersault which adds to your vertigo and amplifies your perspiration. “I hear you’ve been talking about me,” he says.

You give him a dirty look. “Just a little PSA. I feel it is my civic duty.”

He chuckles slightly. “I’ve left an impression, then?”

You do your best to not roll your eyes like a schoolgirl. Licking your lips with contempt, you grace him with a deadpan expression. “More like a sour taste in my mouth.”

He turns to face you, leaning lazily into the bar. “Look at that, you’re all out of alcohol.” He nods at your empty glass.

“Look at that,” you reply with a tight smile. “It’s time for me to go.” You turn to leave, concentrating all your efforts on walking in a straight line despite the spinning of the room. You blink as the tables around you drift from side to side as though they were floating on water.

Before you can make it to the door however, Jake fuckboy Seresin catches up to you, casually stepping into your path with a mischievous glint in his eye. “You seem upset,” he says with a knowing squint.

“Don’t flatter yourself,” you respond flatly.

“You know,” Jake says, leaning back into the door to open it for you. “You wasted your time warning her off.”

You glare at him as you walk out. “If I could save just one friend the heartache, it’s not a waste.”

Jake meets your gaze with a subtle smirk, stepping into the dusk after you. “I don’t want her.”

You stare at him as he follows you outside, the insinuation of his statement making you slightly queasy.

He takes a slow but very deliberate step toward you. “There’s only one person I want,” he says in a low voice.

You scoff while simultaneously gulping in apprehension. “You mean one thing,” you manage to say.

Jake Seresin is no longer smiling; he knows the game, and the current play calls for sincerity or, at the very least, a decent simulation of it. “It’s you,” he says simply.

And despite knowing that every word that comes out of his mouth is a big, fat lie, you feel an irrational desire to just believe. You take several fevered breaths as his face nears yours before replying, “Fuck off.” But you don’t resist when his hand snakes around your waist.

His eyes rake over your face, his gaze lingering on your lips for several torturous seconds before he looks back up. “I want you,” he says, all serious as if he hadn’t already promised you forever once upon a time.

“You can’t have me,” you say, forcing an element of defiance into your voice as his face gets close enough for you to smell his aftershave.

You feel his thumb stroke your ribcage, his touch featherlight. “I know,” he mutters, pushing his forehead into yours insistently.

You close your eyes as his breath sweeps over your face. “It’s too late, Jake,” you whisper.

He nods, his other hand closing around your arm as his nose brushes against yours. “I know,” he repeats.

You feel yourself melting underneath his searing touch but somehow you find the strength to keep talking. “I don’t trust you.”

Jake’s hold on your arm tightens slightly while his other hand drops down to your hip. He tugs you forward. “You shouldn’t,” he says quietly; the first honest words he’s ever spoken – at least to you.

His bottom lip skims your cheek, just shy of your mouth. Not a kiss but rather a loitering pause along your skin. You exhale with a shudder when you feel his lips brush the corner of your mouth. Your lips part; not kissing, just waiting. “I’m leaving,” you murmur against his mouth.

You feel his lips spreading into a grin. “Good idea,” he responds.

Then, he kisses you.

Author's note: This scenario is inspired by the song "12 minute walk" by Bow Anderson

Summary: Someone was following Ysaline on her way home, someone she didn't know and most probably would never want to know. And when all her escape ideas finish, someone unexpectedly comes to her rescue.

Ysaline took another turn and nearly tripped when she tried to look behind. Her lip was trembling. Now, she was sure the man was following her. He seemed taller than her, dressed in a long black coat with his hands in his pockets. His face was covered with a pair of sunglasses. There was no way anyone would walk the route Ysaline took. It was getting her from where she came. He was following her.

For a second, Ysaline thought about going back to her work. However, if the man followed her, he would know where she worked. It could be even more dangerous. Then, she saw it. There was a small market in front of her, maybe she could ask the workers for help.

Ysaline walked faster. The man behind her did the same. She tried to find the keys in her pockets, but she knew that they were in her backpack. She was always putting them there, to make sure she never forgot them in any clothes.

The market was nearly empty. There was no worker in the sight. The young woman took a deep breath and walked through the aisles. Then, she saw someone in the uniform, leaning towards the lowest shelves to arrange some products. Nearly running she approached them. A young girl, barely one and a half meters, and probably not older than nineteen, turned to her with a tired smile. She raised a brow. Ysaline took a step back to give her some space and asked where was a product she didn't care about. When the girl told her where exactly she could find it, Ysaline tried to walk towards it. Her hands were trembling while she looked at the jars with jam. From time to time, she was raising her head to look around her. She didn't know if the man entered after her or not. He probably did considering he was following her closely and saw exactly where she was.

Suddenly, she felt a vibration from the inner pocket of her jacket. Ysaline had no idea who could message her and what they wanted, but she thanked them for reminding her about the option of calling someone. She opened her phone and called the person who sent her the message, without even looking at who it was.

"Wow! Such an honor to get a call from you. How can I help you, Little Kitty?"

Ysaline wanted to end the call without answering, but the peak of a long black coat caught her attention. She gulped and tried to stabilize her voice.

"Hi, love," she said with closed eyes, holding hard on the shelf near her, "I'm on my way home and decided to go to the market. Maybe you know it, the one a few streets, I think three, down my office. It's not a big one, no Lidl, Carrefour, or Franprix. I want to buy some snacks for our movie night. What do you want?"

I hope he gets it. Jason, please, I beg you, please, get it. I need you. Please, please, please.

Ysaline's knuckles got white from holding onto the shelf, but she couldn't let it go. She was afraid she would faint if Jason didn't answer in the next second. Her vision started to blur and her lip hurt from how much she was biting into it.

"If you want me to come after you, say that you are okay with cola if you want some..."

"I think they have cola," Ysaline answered fast. She straightened her back and walked towards the aisle with beverages. She felt someone's big presence near her. He was on the other side of the aisle, looking at her from behind the sunglasses. "I'm afraid," the woman whispered. At this, the man with sunglasses grinned and started to walk towards her. Ysaline's voice trembled: "I'm afraid I am too tired to get a two-liter bottle with me right now. Do you want something smaller or are you coming to help me?"

"You're doing a good job there. I'm coming. I'm in the car. Stay on the line, I'll be there as soon as possible. You can continue to talk to me about whatever you want, office gossip, movies, food. I'll listen and come take you. Don't care about what you are saying, just talk. Make him believe I'm yours. Please. Please, stay safe."

Ysaline nearly dropped the bottle of Pepsi she took in her hand. A tear ran down her cheek and she had to blink away other tears. She begged the universe not to let the man see how afraid she was and thanked it for making Jason understand everything.

"Can't wait to see you. Can't wait to see you and watch the movie together," she paused and tried to laugh. "I know I watch Pride and Prejudice every year, but let a girl dream. Why do you think we are together? Because you remind me so much of Mr. Darcy!"

At this, Jason laughed. "Really?" She wasn't as panicky anymore. It was good. She had to remain calm.

Ysaline laughed too. "Really. I can't believe you didn't get it yet. For someone so smart, you are not the sharpest tool."

"You love him because he's a man in finance, trust fund, 6'5'' and blue-eyed."

"Yeah. The same reason I love you. Poor thing you are not 6'5''."

"I never thought I would get bullied for being only 185, and not 195," a voice said from behind Ysaline. She turned towards it and took a step towards its owner. Then, she turned back towards the aisle, put down the Pepsi bottle, and ran to him. Jason caught the girl in his arms. He kissed her temple and walked towards the bottle she just left. Taking it and a pack of chips, the couple walked towards the checkout. Jason was looking around them but was keeping Ysaline strong in his arms so she didn't do the same thing. He didn't want her to panic again.

In the car, Ysaline finally relaxed. Jason asked her home address and she probably said it because he started to drive. She tried to look at the road, but she couldn't. Streams of tears were going down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry to bother you. I should have been more attentive, maybe take my car, or..." Ysaline was holding tight on her short skirt. She tried to rearrange it to look longer. When she understood she couldn't do it, she took her bag and put it on her legs.

Jason parked the car, looked at the girl and what she was doing, and put away the bag from her legs.

"It wasn't your fault. It never was, and never will. Nothing could have changed what just happened. So don't blame yourself."

Jason looked at Ysaline's profile. He wanted to pat her head and kiss her temple. If he knew it would reassure and comfort her, he would do it. But he didn't. So, he stopped midair before holding her hand. Ysaline probably didn't want anyone to touch her right now. He waited for her to calm down and offered her his handkerchief.

"Thank you," Ysaline finally whispered with her hand on the door.

"Don't mention it. If you ever need my help, you know my number."

Ysaline nodded and left. Jason's eyes fell on the chips and soda. Maybe he would try to watch Pride and Prejudice.
