You can use a lot of words you know? You don't have to talk yourself around stuff like "It's famous Nazi code for an abbreviation for their popular motto which I won't be repeating here" when you really can just explain that 88 is supposed to represent the Hitler salute because H is the 8th letter in the alphabet? You don't even have to say the words but I mean wouldn't it make more sense to actually explain something instead of vaguely talking around it for some sense of...of what? What's the use in nor calling the thing by it's name? Won't that do more harm than good? I mean if people know they shouldnt do something but don't really know why then they won't take it that serious no?

I am not "overwhelmed" by pending tasks or replies as I used to be in the past anymore!! I did a lot of work on procrastination etc., so it isn't a matter of me being overwhelmed, I just want to take my time enjoying the interaction we had after 2 years. #that’s such a cute way to word it?? contractual adventure…..#i love when they utilise creative wordings in legal matters. i find the uniformity to be exhausting.#it is good to take freedom and a laxer approach when you put forward your arguments.#so long as your wording doesn’t negate the legal essence or lose the legal meaning.#i highly condone the usage of metaphors and comparisons and playful substitutes.#legal analysis (especially of contracts!) becomes much more fun when you allow yourself to shine through.#it’s one of the reasons I simply don’t understand people who use bots to write for them.#why would you take this away from yourself.#i hope my colours shine bright through my essays; i sincerely do.#i saw this post on Instagram once that was like.#my toxic trait is thinking that i could write my essays better than ai.#AND YEAH. more transition rambling

as upset as i sometimes get about not passing, i still love what transitioning is doing for/to my body so much. like i never get sick of seeing how hairy i’m getting, i’m impatient for more facial hair and so excited to have stubble and one side burn (and i would love for both side burns to come in.) my chest hair has started coming in the past few weeks and THATS been a thrill.

every time i hear myself singing and actually like how i sound? every time i laugh weird and sound like my brother, who i love so much? every time i see a friend for the first time in awhile

it’s just, life has been so hard for like, a year and a half now, and while i do think i’m finally on the upswing, there’s a lot of new trauma to deal with. but one thing i’ve learned from all this is how to take care of myself so, so well. i can love and care for myself now in ways i never imagined being possible. and having a body that actually brings me joy makes that so much easier.

and like, it’s especially resonant to have a body that actually brings JOY when i’ve had chronic pain since i was 12. when this all started because i got a new disability. my body can do less and hurts more and i still love it more. its harder to care for, but i’m trying harder.

transitioning has saved my life in SO many ways i could not be more grateful that i finally did it

#separate ramble for the tags:#i deactivated my twitter for a day and realized i could just. not bring it back #and so i didnt! and while i will pop in occasionally so i dont lose it permanently and to check in w people and there and such #it is kinda nice. its also very weird #i also deleted the tumblr app #so i cant just like share every random thought i have with the internet #and i WANT to so badly i am so used to it lmao #but i think practicing being more intentional about what i share online and like breaking that habit of tweeting everything is good for me #even if its not permanent #but hell it might be!#i havent done a great job on breaking the scrolling habit bc i still have instagram for my sibling gc lmao #but reels are. way less engaging than twitter so.#reflecting on it though has made me realize like my memory is so bad and one reason i tweet so much is literally as a Record #but its like alright well maybe a Journal would be Better #and accepting that its ok to forget random thoughts i do not need to preserve every little idea i have #reflecting on internet habits on the internet is very online i admit #but i dont mind being online im just trying to find a way to do so that doesnt break my brain so bad #which is why this is on my mind rn bc like i do genuinely enjoy doing a little blog every so often lmao #might branch out and start actually blogging/writing about my interests too

I’m so tired of seeing people police others’ language and assume they are (x, y, z) or mean (x, y, z) from harmless phrases and word choice. Like if it irks you, fine I get it. But if you genuinely think someone is horrible and awful or thinks something irrepressible for a cutesy word or phrase they use that ultimately means NOTHING — genuinely touch grass.

// obviously not about slurs — I mean words like ‘blorbo’ or those in a similar vein. Last time I checked, it wasn’t problematic so I’m operating under that supposition.

#I don’t like several blorbo terms. ‘blorbo-in-law’ still confuses me and makes me a bit uncomfortable blur I’d never think badly of someone-#-who says it.#I have so many social difficulties and I’m finding it harder than ever to say anything. I just close myself off because it’s more -#- comfortable. You get fired at for the most minor crap these days.#like welcome to the real world? I have small irks too and many sensory issues to boot but I never assume crap about others for harmless -#- word choice.#very applicable to people gatekeeping terminology that helps other’s explain their situation better and get help.#i already had that rant in instagram today I am not writing it again 💀💀#genuinely I just never want to talk again sometimes. ultimately the ocean vuong rupi kaur poll boils down to the fact that so many people have only had exposure to both these poets through tumblr (most probably web weaving posts) and equate more articulate + longer lines with vuong and shorter + simpler ones with kaur... to me the difference was . very easy to spot and vuong's lines were instantly recognizable ...

That’s my big conspiracy #Anyways dwtb just started updating again and I literally just found out like on the 23-24th so you should totally go check it out if you #Like robot. Object heads and absolutely delicious stories. Msb is on the older side and embodies a lot of early internet style Wild West to #It bit it gets really good in the second half and dwtb… well let me tell you the writing on that thing is absolutely amazing! Gets better #Every update. Worth the occasional hiatus’ and long breaks. The creator is somehow making me feel bad for a character I’ve loathed since #Day 1. 10 Flaws to Give Your Perfect Characters to Make Them Human

If you're tired of the usual vices like arrogance or impatience, here are some unique (or at least less basic) character flaws to give your perfect characters:

Pathological Altruism

A character so obsessed with helping others that they end up doing more harm than good. Their inability to let others grow or face consequences creates tension.

2. Moral Narcissism

A character who sees themselves as morally superior to others, constantly justifying selfish or harmful actions because they believe they have the moral high ground.

3. Chronic Self-Sabotage

A character who intentionally undermines their own success, perhaps due to deep-seated feelings of unworthiness, pushing them into frustrating, cyclical failures.

4. Emotional Numbness

Rather than feeling too much, this character feels too little. Their lack of emotional response to critical moments creates isolation and makes it difficult for them to connect with others.

5. Fixation on Legacy

This character is obsessed with how they’ll be remembered after death, often sacrificing present relationships and happiness for a future that’s uncertain.

6. Fear of Irrelevance

A character-driven by the fear that they no longer matter, constantly seeking validation or pursuing extreme measures to stay important in their social or professional circles.

7. Addiction to Novelty

Someone who needs constant newness in their life, whether it’s experiences, relationships, or goals. They may abandon projects, people, or causes once the excitement fades, leaving destruction in their wake.

8. Compulsive Truth-Telling

A character who refuses to lie, even in situations where a lie or omission would be the kinder or more pragmatic choice. This flaw causes unnecessary conflict and social alienation.

9. Over-Identification with Others' Pain

Instead of empathy, this character feels others' pain too intensely, to the point that they can’t function properly in their own life. They’re paralyzed by the suffering of others and fail to act effectively.

10. Reluctant Power

A character who fears their own strength, talent, or influence and is constantly trying to shrink themselves to avoid the responsibility or consequences of wielding it.
