Ahmed b. Hanbel şöyle duâ ederdi:
"Allah’ım! Yüzümü başkalarına secde etmekten koruduğun gibi, senden başkalarına yalvarmaktan da koru"

25 Days of Sleighpairs: Haya | Hope Mikaelson x Maya Machado (Legacies) + “Gingerbread”
Hope startled then kept walking, her smile growing as she approached Maya. She was leaning against a tree, scrolling on her phone behind her scarf. Despite the winter chill, the sight of her warmed Hope. Purely because she looked so snug in her fluffy scarf and jacket, of course.
Taking a quick breath, she said, loud enough for her to hear, "Hey!"
Maya looked up. Her tinted lips quirked up into a smile and she pushed away from the tree. There was somthing so effortless about everything she did.
"Hey," she greeted, tucking her phone away.
"I thought we were meeting in town?" Hope said, her eyebrows dipping slightly. "You didn't have to come all this way."
Maya shrugged. Again, effortless and smooth.
"I wanted the walk." Her gaze dropped down, then flicked back up as she tilted her head. "I like your makeup."
Hope opened her mouth but all that emerged was a fluttery, nervous laugh. She quickly swallowed it down, saying, "Thanks. I had a really good teacher."
Maya's smile grew as gave a humble little shrug. "So, where do you want to go today? I would suggest somewhere warm, with internet."
"The Grill? I have it on good authority that their gingerbread lattes are really good."
"Then what are waiting for?"
They set off in the direction of town, talking and laughing the whole way. Hope's heart was fluttering the entire time, just like it did every time they would hang out - which had been a lot the last few weeks. With school closed for the holidays, Maya had a lot of free time, and apparently she would rather spend it hanging out with Hope in town than sitting at home.
Hope didn't mind, either. It got her out of the school, which was abuzz with festive cheer but also on the emptier side what with a lot of people going home to their families. And she liked Maya - she liked spending time with her. It was nice, for just a few hours, to be able to forget about the other world she would eventually be dragged back to. Right now, she was just another teenage girl giggling with her friend too loudly in public as they clung to each other to stop the other from slipping on the icy streets.
She slipped on the curb, but Maya, still holding her hand, pulled her to safety - nearly sending them both tumbling in the process. Fortunately, they steadied themselves together. Hope's face was burning hot, closer to Maya than she had been since their first meeting in the girls' bathrooms at Mystic Falls High.
Maya grinned. "Hi," she softly said.
"Hi." Hope could barely breathe until she forced herself a step backwards and raised her eyebrows. "The Grill?"
Maya didn't say anything, just smiling as they headed inside.

“The greatest women who ever stood on the face of this earth, you know their achievements and you heard their names, but they lived the lives of hayā’. Hidden to the eyes of men, pearls in their own rights..an honour to their houses and to the Dīn.”

You will not find a single Hadith, even a weak one, describing how A'isha, Fatima and Khadija (ra) looked. This is how careful the Sahabah and Muslims were, about letting someone even imagine what their women looked like.
And now, men post pictures of their own wives and daughters. Or women post themselves online to thousands of strangers. How far we've strayed...
O Brothers, protect your women from having the eyes of another man on her, for indeed Allah hates those men who have no gheerah.
