Aster™ Terror Star! (Ukagaka/Desktop Buddy)

On a random browsing session, you come across a name you've only heard offhandedly mentioned by some tech nerds: Aster Assistant Software. A download of a software announced and swiftly forgotten, just freely available in a distant corner of the internet. Thinking you may have found a piece of history, you quickly download it to see what that's all about. What you got instead, was an AI that seemingly never shuts up.

It's done! Continuation of Aster™️Assistant Software, though doesn't require you play it whatsoever. As most ukagakas, requires SSP to run. Link includes an explanation as to what those are and installation instructions.

Based on the Simplicity template by Zichqec. Using SSP on Windows is recommended.

Content warnings:

anyway. i was excited for recs bc i also enjoy this genre of fictional character. unfortunately as above the niche is niched, it turns out. at least for me, content enjoyer georg, who has apparently already seen or read everything anyone else has already seen or read except for a small handful of specific media properties that i do not wish to see or read for various personal reasons and also not literally everything ever... just the same things as everyone else has already seen and read... u get the idea. ok thnks 👍🏻

i went and signed up for a busuu acct and omggg it IS like duolingo sorta before it went all ai bullshit! they even facilitate interactions with native speakers! i just wish it gave me more choices on what to do next. it's more comparable to duolingo's "waterfall" aka forced linear path than the old duolingo version of giving you options on what to build up next. so far it also seems to have less repetition, which got annoying with duo but is honestly very good for memorization, so it probably needs to be supplemented with flashcards like anki.

i'm gonna learn spanish (again sorta)!! i'm gonna do it!
