Why My Gangour is the Best Indian Sweet Shop in Dubai
If you are someone who has grown up enjoying Indian sweets like gulab jamun, rasgulla, kaju katli, and soan papdi, then you know how important sweets are in our culture. From birthdays to weddings, from Diwali to Holi, sweets are always present. But when you are living away from India, like in Dubai, finding the same authentic taste of Indian sweets can be difficult. That’s where My Gangour comes in. Let me tell you why My Gangour is the best Indian sweet shop in Dubai and why people keep going back again and again.
Tumblr media
1. Authentic Indian Taste
The first and most important reason is the authentic taste. At My Gangour, the sweets are made just like they are in India. The chefs follow traditional recipes, use high-quality ingredients, and never compromise on taste. Whether you bite into a ladoo or take a spoonful of halwa, the flavor reminds you of home. Many sweet shops in Dubai try to mix modern styles, but My Gangour focuses on keeping the traditional Indian flavor alive.
2. Wide Variety of Sweets
India is known for having many different types of sweets from every region – like Bengali sweets, Rajasthani sweets, South Indian sweets, and more. My Gangour has something for everyone. From rasmalai, motichoor laddoo, and milk cake to barfis and pedas, you will find all types of sweets under one roof. They also offer sugar-free sweets for health-conscious people, which is a great option nowadays.
3. Freshness is Guaranteed
Another reason why people love My Gangour is the freshness. All sweets are made fresh every day. There are no old sweets or stored items. You can literally smell the freshness when you enter the shop. When sweets are fresh, the taste is also much better, and you know it is safe to eat.
4. Hygiene and Cleanliness
Today, hygiene is very important, especially after the pandemic. My Gangour follows strict cleanliness rules in their kitchen and shop. The workers wear gloves and head caps. The kitchen is regularly cleaned, and ingredients are stored safely. You can buy and eat sweets from here without any worry.
5. Great for Gifting
In Indian culture, sweets are a very common gift. Whether you are visiting a friend or attending a festival, sweets are always appreciated. My Gangour offers beautiful and creative sweet boxes that are perfect for gifting. You can choose the design, the sweets inside, and the quantity. It’s a great way to make someone feel special.
6. Best for Festivals and Celebrations
Festivals like Diwali, Raksha Bandhan, and Eid are incomplete without sweets. During such times, My Gangour becomes a favorite shop for many families in Dubai. They even offer special festive boxes with a mix of traditional sweets. These boxes are beautifully packed and ideal for sharing the festive joy with others.
7. Also Offers Delicious Snacks
Apart from sweets, My Gangour also serves a wide range of Indian snacks like samosas, kachoris, chaat, dhokla, and more. It’s the perfect place for an evening snack or to satisfy your craving for Indian street food. Everything is made fresh and served hot, just the way we like it in India.
8. Great for Parties and Events
If you are planning a party, small get-together, or a family event in Dubai, sweets and snacks are a must. My Gangour offers small party catering dubai services that include sweets, snacks, and even full meal options. Their staff is professional, food quality is excellent, and they help you plan everything as per your budget and needs.
They are also one of the trusted catering companies in Dubai because they understand Indian tastes and preferences very well. Whether it is a birthday, engagement, or puja at home, they can provide the best food and sweets.

One of the things I absolutely adore about Denji's character is that he doesn't say some profound hero things like protagonists often do in other series. He doesn't say "I have to live so I can experience being human" or something like that, he says "As long as the world has grub and girls, I still have something to live for." It's simple and to some may seem shallow, but it makes perfect sense for Denji to say. He wasn't raised on some lofty ideals, he was never educated, he never read books, he's a 17 year old boy. His statements like this said by any other character would be considered vain and shallow, but when Denji says them the sentiment and the simplicity is beautiful. Is there still good food? Yes. Is there still cute girls? Yes. Then I have to keep going.

i feel like percy is the person that people bring with them when they need to go somewhere or do something potentially dangerous. or more realistically, he’s the one who people’s loved ones tell them to take with. it just makes people feel better knowing percy is there. you know what i mean?
sally has a meeting with someone who sounds a bit weird (and paul can’t go)? paul tells her to bring percy.
paul needs to go to a really sketchy part of town? sally asks him to bring percy
piper got a weird anonymous note and needs to go meet them at a location? annabeth tells her to bring percy
leo has to go get some magic machine part from a really shady dealer? piper tells him to bring percy
frank has to go on an unofficial quest to investigate some shady legion history, and hazel has to stay with camp? hazel tells him to bring percy
and it’s NOT because any of these people can’t take care of themselves. they are all strong and brave and badass, and can handle anything. but for one, percy is intimidating as hell. his “wolf stare” sends literal gangs running the other way. you can avoid conflict before it even happens, because no one is messing with percy. and second, percy just makes you feel safe. his presence is comforting. not only has he been through all the demigod-hero-world-saving shit, and is powerful as hell, but he also grew up in new york city. he can handle pretty much any situation. plus he’s super sweet and funny, and you can always count on him to make you laugh and decrease your anxiety. and he’s always got your back. he takes care of the people he loves.
he’s just the best company. for so many reasons.
when in doubt, bring percy

Got this idea from another post that I CANNOT for the life of me find.
AU where Clark comes to Earth as an adult, and has to blend into normal human society.
He knows his name is Kal-El, but he also knows that humans don't have names like that. He sees a couple of celebrities and mashes their names together, hoping that it would make him a bit more likable in the eyes of humans.
He hides sharp-tipped ears behind black curls and ball caps, wears glasses so people won't notice his abnormally deep blue eyes, and is constantly in sweaters despite the weather to conceal muscles that shouldn't exist on a "normal human".
When he gets his job at the Daily Planet and has to interview Bruce Wayne, he's scared. This is his first time being near a real human celebrity, and he's mortified that he'll blow his cover.
He sits and stares at the billionaire for several minutes. This human is gorgeous in all the ways a being can be. His eyes are blue like Earth's oceans, his hair falls in perfect wisps against his forehead, and his outfit is perfectly crisp against his body, perfectly tailored to every small curve.
"Uhm... Mr. Kent?" Bruce bats his eyelashes at him, smiling expectantly.
Clark snaps out of it, his pupils dilating ever so slightly. "You're beautiful. Can I court you? What's your favorite planet?— I'll bring you rocks!"
The man is stunned, watching the reporter for some time before replying, "I... suppose Venus is nice."
Bruce is fully convinced that this reporter is autistic. Makes his life easier. They could connect in that way.
Clark flushes, realizing what he's done. He's very happy the interview wasn't recorded in any way.
Bruce shows up to work the next day and there is a box with his name on it in sloppy handwriting sitting on his desk.
He opens it, and to his amusement—and shock— , there is a piece of rock inside with a note that says one word: Venus.
That night, Bruce takes the rock home to the Batcave and analyzes it for its composition. When it is a match for Venus, he immediately connects the dots that Clark Kent is the new meta being that had been parading around Metropolis and surrounding cities as of late. After all, not even the greatest scientists have yet to reach Venus, so how else would this reporter get a rock from the planet unless he could survive the expanse of space and fly there?
He is dumbfounded. And maybe a little in love.
