How Drizly Works: Business Model & Revenue Model
The company currently has a tie-up with around 1400 liquor stores. It offers on-demand alcohol delivery markets in North America, including Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, Chicago, California, San Francisco, and many others.
The working of the Drizly app is quite simple. The customer directly places an order for the desired booze through the app.
This order is instantly routed to the closest liquor store, one of which is a registered liquor retailer and is a part of Drizly's network.
This store then ensures quick delivery of the order straight to the consumer's doorstep in less than an hour. Customers are notified when their order is on its way, which can be easily tracked via the Drizly app.
Thus, in the entire process, Drizly only acts as an intermediary between the alcohol consumers and the local liquor stores, using the best of technology to streamline orders and deliveries.

5 LESSER-KNOWN FACTS ABOUT COLOMBIAN AGUARDIENTE
Tumblr media
Aguardiente is hands-down, unquestionably, the National Drink of Colombia. There isn’t any occasion, club night, countryside celebration, or even a normal weekend in Colombia where this drink isn’t in the hands of people making them sway. So much so that even if you ask any local for a special regional drink, he might ask you about aguardiente first, and then next, buying you one.
Although, being so prominent, people don’t know much about this amazing drink which translates to “fire water”.
1.First, let us know what Colombian Aguardiente is:
Colombian Aguardiente, or “guaro”, is an anise-flavored drink which is extracted and derived from sugarcane. The alcohol content ranges anywhere between 29% to 60%.
Aguardiente is a clear spirit which is derived first by fermentation, and then distillation. You will either love this drink or hate this, with completely nothing in between.
2.What is Aguardiente made from?
Aguardiente is nothing but simple four ingredients- Alcohol, sugar, anise, and water.
Fun fact- Out these four, only water is from Colombia! And as for the other three, the sugar is imported from Central America, pure alcohol is imported from Ecuador and Bolivia, and anise from Spain.
3.Why is Aguardiente only popular in Colombia?
Because of it being a simple drink without any complex taste that eventually gets better as older it gets. Unlike the beverages that get better with age and flavor such as rum or whiskey, the only thing which separates one Aguardiente from the other is on the basis of how much sugar, anise, and alcohol is added. Therefore, people like to drink more distinguishable drinks internationally.
4.Is Colombian Aguardiente popular regionally?
Hard pill to swallow, yes, the Colombian Aguardiente is famous but it decreases every year!
Unpopular fact- The consumption of regional liquor has gradually decreased by 56% over the last 25 years.
Allegedly because of the increasing competition from the international spirit makers.
5.Why is the alcohol content only 29%?
The alcohol content subsequently decreased from 40% to 29% and there are various reasons alleged.
The aguardiente makers say it is so to make the spirit more appealing for the international market. But on the contrary, every other drink ranges around 40%.
Next time if you find yourself roaming on the streets of Colombia, take a chance and try this amazing “Guaro” or Aguardiente (Agua- water; ardiente- burning.)
Gulp down this drink and experience the sensation of “firewater”Yourself. You can also try this amazing spirit in numerous cocktails such as Aguardiente sour, caipirinha (Ecuadorian), canelazo, daisy maria, and the honey martini.

Honeymoon Headcanons: Mayans Edition
Characters: Angel, Coco, EZ x F!Reader
Miami (Angel)
Tumblr media
It wasn’t difficult at all to decide where the two of you would take your honeymoon. When you weren’t gonna be naked, Angel wanted you in sundresses and bikinis. You wanted him in linen shirts, and to feel him up in a club. Couple that with you both wanting a tropical environment, and Miami it is.
Angel letting you handle the accommodations, because you seem to know more about what you wanna see/where you wanna go than he does. He only cares about a bed and shower for when he’s not taking you in the inappropriate places. He just hands over the cash, though he complains about his hurt wallet.
Angel hard as a rock when he sees your new name on your plane ticket.
The two of you nearly missing your flight because your husband needs to “show his wife he loves her”.
You babying him on the flight, because Angel has never flown anywhere before.
“Mami, it’s perfectly valid to feel like a flying toaster can’t safely get you anywhere but a casket. Which they can’t even put you in, because you’ll be everywhere!”
Cue you distracting him with kisses and dirty words in his ear, which gets you initiated into the Mile High Club
Barely making it into the cute little condo before the two of you are at it again, collapsing in the late hours to jet lag and mutual satisfaction.
Your first official day is spent dragging Angel around the humid streets. Knowing he stresses easily if you plan things too tightly, and wanting to wing it yourself. It’s surprising how well you to fit in, it almost feels like home.
Angel switching from being jealous, because your tiny cotton sundress is attracting more than just his attention, to him kissing all over your dewy skin because so much of it is visible.
You getting as jealous as Angel, because it seems like each place you drag him to has openly interested ladies. It’s the white linen shirt that he won’t fully button no matter how many times you try to make him.
Angel basking in the attention, and even playing it up to force you to be the one to initiate inappropriate public sex.
Smirking when you break after a woman pays for his (and unintentionally yours) order at a small cafe you stepped into and you snap and drag him to a hidden place.
“I only love you querida, mi alma.” he whispers in your ear when he bottoms out inside you.
You two are a beautiful couple. Photogenic as all hell. Alone, neither of you have a problem attracting interest, but together, you make people want to be seen around you. That’s why you have no problem club hopping to all the exclusive places.
Angel taking photos and videos of you dancing because he’s so enthralled. He can’t wait to show your kids one day when they ask why he fell for you, and he explains how full of life you are.
Getting enough liquor in Angel to get him dance somewhere away from the club, especially since he (lies) and says he can’t.
You and Angel competing to see who can get the most people to buy your drinks + the two of you losing track because you both get drunk.
A quickie in the coatroom is the prize, Angel fucking you to the hypnotic beat.
Spending a few hours apart the following day, only to still keep texting and FaceTiming each other until you met up, touch starved, at a small restaurant.
Deciding to spend the rest of the day at your Airbnb laid up under each other after Angel scores weed. Teasing Angel about his monetary complaints when you spend all night enjoying the small backyard pool.
Angel thanking God for getting an adventure loving woman as his soulmate when you wake him up the next afternoon to inform him you rented jet skis for the day.
You being impressed when, while jet skiing, Angel silver tongues your way into an invitation to a nearby yacht party out of the host.
FaceTiming Gilly to make him jealous that you two are doing Hookah and drinking Casamigos in a hot tub.
Angel ramping up the mockery when EZ and Coco appear on screen, attracted by Gilly’s whining. Everyone looking overworked and salty, while you and Angel are living your best non-sober lives.
Slipping away from the party to one of the rooms on the boat, because once again, you and Angel never know when to stop teasing each other before it ends up in sex.
Feeling bold enough to suggest that since Angel’s been documenting so much of the trip, that maybe he should film this too.
The aftermath being a surprisingly sweet series of kisses and confessions where the two of you express how thankful you are to have found each other. How you can’t wait to build a forever together.
Marfa + Roswell (Coco)
Tumblr media
No one knew how you got Coco to agree to travel for your honeymoon until you finally revealed where you were going. Splitting a week between Marfa and Roswell.
You and Coco are that “weird” conspiracy, incense, and weed couple, so it makes sense.
Giving Coco an edible before you leave, because like Angel, he doesn’t fuck with air travel like that.
“They got me with that bullshit in the military, but that was out of my control. You askin’ a lot right now, you’re lucky you’re cute mujer.”
Coco getting progressively handsy during the flight as the edible hits. Eventually, you stop fake-fighting his neck kisses and forward touches.
Also like Angel in that he’s unafraid to become a member of the Mile High Club.
The ride from the El Paso airport, to the car rental place, to Marfa takes far longer than Coco would like.
He’s used to long stretches of trip on his bike, and when you notice him becoming antsy, you distract him with interesting facts about Marfa.
The entire time, Coco can’t help but think that you’re the perfect road trip co-pilot, only to realize he actually meant his life in general now.
Coco proud as hell when you fall in love with his accommodations choice like he did. The colorful airstream trailers of the El Cosmico hotel are the two of you through and through.
You both trying to be responsible adults and refresh after travel, but continuing to get lost in each other during the whole process.
Shower sex -> Making out while drying off -> Touching while searching through your bags for something to wear -> bed sex -> repeat
Looking thoroughly mauled when you finally manage to get Coco off of you and into the car in search of food the next afternoon.
Coco being happy you can’t cover up due to the heat, while you wonder what superpower he and his boys have that let them wear flannel and long sleeves in the heat.
Dragging Coco to a cute cafe you saw on instagram, and him knowing, by the hipster design of it, that his wallet is about to cry.
Stealing food from his plate, and laughing at him sucking his teeth and whining when he catches you.
“You’re stuck with me forever now Johnny sooo….get used to this.”
“Small price to pay for that I guess.”
Finding small shops to go to and being Siamese twins in every one. Coco showing he has good taste in a lot of things one might think he wouldn’t. Him opening up his wallet at everything you 'ooh' and 'aww' at. He can’t help it, he likes you happy, and your kisses and adoring looks are addicting.
For almost everything you get, Letty gets something too. Neither of you wants that tantrum when you get back.
You fighting yourself to avoid the art supply store, and Coco not having it.
“I have so many supplies already, it’s an addiction at this point.”
“So? Get some more. It’s our week, we shouldn’t stress about shit.”
Coco bragging on your talents and successes to the art shop cashier when you checkout.
“Cocoooo.” you murmur hiding your face in his shoulder, arms around his waist.
“Don’t be shy ma, you’re fucking amazing. I love your skills.”
Cue the cashier swooning at the two of you.
Finding unique liquor stores and getting tipsy on samples. It becomes twice as fun when locals, and other tourists alike, start discussing the Marfa lights with you, and you and Coco impress everyone with your ideas.
Being invited to a bonfire smoke session with the other El Cosmico guests when you get back.
Sketching Coco by the firelight, because he’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen in that moment, and now he’s officially yours.
The sex being on another level of intimate that night, because all day you and Coco have been engaging in your respective love languages, and it culminates in mutual need for each other.
The drive to Roswell being more tolerable for Coco, but he still misses his bike. Your excitement about AlienFest is so palpable however, he quickly forgets.
Your hotel being more conventional, but the people you meet making up for it. Finally, you and Coco aren’t the weirdest ones in the room.
Taking the time before the festival starts to check in with friends and family and accumulate odd souvenirs for them. You believe Coco is intentionally getting them stuff they’ll hate.
“Taza won’t wear that baby, he has better taste in jewelry than UFO earrings.”
“Ok, but can he bitch about us not getting him anything? Plus, you can guilt anyone into anything.”
Doing cute edible pastries at the festival.
“You know Aliens are demons right? Jack Parsons and L. Ron Hubbard were doing summoning rituals in the Mojave in 1946, and Roswell was the following year.”
“Word?…Shit. Tell me that again when we’re not rolling. I wanna read about it………you’re so smart mami.”
Coco realizing between every snack stop, every dance he shares with you, every trinket you pick up, and every little conspiracy tidbit you share, that you’re his wife now. That the peace he’s been feeling all week, that he thought he’d never have, is going to be his new normal.
New Orleans (EZ)
Tumblr media
You and EZ both enjoy engaging with history and culture, and felt that your honeymoon should be built off of your shared interests. During your meticulous wedding planning, it was decided New Orleans would be the honeymoon destination. It didn’t hurt that you missed your southern roots too, even if you weren’t from New Orleans.
Traveling with EZ is a dream considering you’re both pretty organized, together people. He’s not afraid of flying, but you’re always a little nervous.
EZ being Best Husband™️ and soothing even the most minor of your stresses by turning your attention to the excitement of your trip and your new relationship status.
Teasing EZ in-flight won’t get you Mile High Club initiated, because he finds it much more entertaining to punish you by letting you work the both of you up, and making you stay that way for the duration of the flight. He’s got enough will power to suffer through it, because your soft whines make it worth it.
The airbnb is everything it was promised to be, and you’d appreciate that later, but all you can think of is your husband when you step through the door. That’s the other half of why EZ likes to leave you waiting. Your aggression and exclusive desire for him gets, and keeps, him hard.
It rains the following day, which is just as well, because neither of you are quite ready to stop physically expressing your love for each other. The day consists of ordering food, falling out of your clothes and onto each other, separating to read, falling back on each other, and quick naps.
Angel sending mocking texts in your Reyes group about how you’re trying to turn his brother bamma like you, only to stop when you threaten him with no souvenirs.
EZ and you taking responsibility for your own tour because let’s face it, you both know exactly what you want to see, and can plan a more satisfying tour for the both of you. You take turns deciding where to go next.
When it’s his turn, EZ picks an art museum, and can’t quit smiling about it. You think it’s because he picked a place he really wanted to go to.
“Babe, I have a surprise for you.”
“What?” your excitement always makes EZ’s heart race with his own.
He hands you the guide brochure he picked up at the door, folded to the section he wants you to look at.
“Faith Ringgold exhibit?!”
He hums and nods, grunting when you knock into him with a hug.
“Thank you for thinking of me. I love you.” you look up at him, eyes shining with unshed tears and he just kisses you, afraid he’ll cry if he says anything.
The two of you avoid the tourist trap spots for lunch and find a cute family owned cafe. You order for the both of you based on what you know about southern cuisine and both of your tastes.
You love watching EZ fall in love with the food as he keeps asking “Can you make this?” about everything he eats.
The two of you walking through the Garden District in the evening. Hands swinging between you with no plans but to admire the beautiful homes and foliage.
EZ noting how awestruck you are, and you describing what you love about the historic, towering homes.
He catches that when you describe what your dream home in the area would be, he and your future children are mentioned frequently, and it makes butterflies dance in his stomach. He can picture your family in the yards around him.
The two of you almost make it back to your Airbnb, but give into your baser urges after all the domestic conversation. EZ pulls you into an alley for a quickie, the two of you fighting to silence the other’s vocal expression.
You teasing EZ after that he’s more like his brother than he thinks. Him teasing back the two of you would’ve been caught and arrested if he was like Angel.
The following day is relaxed and less planned. The both of you getting thoughtful gifts for each member of your family, blood and otherwise. EZ scores major points for the gifts he suggests for your mom and dad, and you kind of want to jump him again.
EZ is glad you’re impressed, but it’s nothing to him. It all comes naturally because he loves you so much, and refuses to be anything other than the husband he knows you deserve.
AN:
I didn’t want to add this, cuz I wanted to end on a sweet note, but you just know Angel would accidentally send that vid to one of his boys.
Personally, I lose it for shit like this. Anything domestic in writings is my jam, so I decided to make these headcanons.
- Fun fact: Jet Ski is kind of like Bandaid in that it’s become the generic term for “personal water vehicles”, but it’s actually a specific brand’s name for their PWVs. I learned this while writing this enjoy💀.

hi love! i just discovered your blog and yeah, definitely, Tiffany and Ethan are one of the hottest couple I've seen around ❤️ I just love their chemistry, how much they love each other... yeah, I love them already too much.
One question, have you thought about the moment when Ethan found out about Tiff's knee injury? and how did he react? like, in general as in how it happened, the scar that she has now and the "broken dream" of becoming a professional? maybe him being sad of what happened to the love of his life but he also knows that if that never happened, they probably wouldn't have meet?
okay, this is me writing too much and i am so sorry lmao
OMG HI! 😍
Yes! The story of how Ethan finds out about the injury is included in one of the fics on my endless WIP list, but since I don’t plan on finishing it anytime soon, I’ll reply with a little HC here 💕 (who am I kidding, it's not ‘little’ because I can’t shut up lol but I’m not tagging anyone because I honestly don’t know what it is)
Tumblr media
Before Miami, Ethan had collected some scraps of information about Tiffany—a disorganized list of details he kept at the back of his mind like pieces of a puzzle he was dying to solve.
Miami brought him the missing ones...And much more than he bargained for.
The first day of the conference was as hectic as ever, filling their schedules with lectures and presentations. Afterwards, the young doctor insisted on going out for dinner. He accepted the seemingly innocent invitation, oblivious to her secret mission: unwinding Doctor Ethan Ramsey.
She made him stop by the liquor store, then dragged him to the highly recommended pizza place nearby before they ended up on a beach, bonding over patient stories while drinking cheap champagne in plastic cups and tasting what was supposed to be the most Italian Margherita in Miami.
The conversation quickly turned personal. She opened up to him, giving him more clues, and he offered some fragments of himself in return.
Favorite food. The stories behind their names. Last vacation spot. Some memorable lessons from Naveen. The most annoying parts of med school experience.
He wanted to know everything about her, piece all those colorful tidbits together—maybe then it would make sense. Maybe then he’d understand why an intern got stuck on his mind.
Why did you become a doctor?
Tiffany’s smile dimmed for one split second as her gaze shifted to the ocean. She tried to avoid the answer, saying her backstory is lame, but he promised not to laugh her off. Tell me yours and I’ll tell you mine.
Her curiosity won over hesitation. Long version or short version?
The honest one.
So she told him about a little girl—a dancer. She was a natural. Her mother quickly noticed her talent and decided to put it into good use, prompting her to become the prettiest, the most praiseworthy, the absolute best destined for success.
But the girl didn’t want to be a collateral damage of her mother’s unfulfilled dreams; she wanted to find her true calling and craved to explore all the possibilities. She was eager to dance just as much as to become the smartest person in the room.
For years she obeyed, earning disapproving looks whenever she gave priority to something other than endless hours spent on learning new moves or perfecting her hover corté and chassé.
Then, one day during training, a week before the nationals, she jumped a little too early, a little too high, not giving her partner a heads-up to catch her on time. Her knee ligament was torn, shattering her efforts to defend the national championship.
Mrs Addams was convinced her daughter’s injury wasn’t an accident. Tiffany was always a wild child, showcasing her independence in the most infuriating way. What if she did this on purpose to quit dancing?
The unfair accusation crushed her heart, but not her spirit.
A month after the surgery she was back in training. The doctors didn’t recommend such a drastic shift from the recovery, but Felicity was willing to take the risk.
And Tiffany was determined to prove to her mother that she was just a victim of bad luck. That she didn’t mean to hurt herself.
Her moves were slower, sloppier, painful. She didn’t mean it before, but maybe she meant it now. Every step was a torture, but she had to be perfect again. So she danced until she couldn’t stand anymore and her knee refused to work. The damage was irreversible and no surgery she had gone through could fix it.
Ethan listened to the story with a deep frown and usettling feeling tugging at his heartstrings. His fingers swept through the sand mere centimeters away from Tiffany’s thigh and he cursed himself for even thinking of touching her. Comforting her. Telling the little girl she’s enough, she’s her own person, she doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone.
So that was my moment. I promised myself I’ll become a healer and try to fix all things broken and helpless.
He asked if it still hurt, and she nodded. Said she got used to the uncomfortable tingling and lifted her flimsy dotted dress a little to show him the scar. His fingers dug into the sand to help him hide from his thoughts.
How about the other one?
The other one? Her mouth fell open in confusion. A second later she pursed her lips and sent him a smirk. I‘ve learned to live with it.
And the hole in his heart was a proof of how it’s done—how grief could become a weapon.
Thank you. For trusting me with your story.
Thank you for listening to me.
With a wide smile, she finished her champagne, her piercing emerald eyes never leaving his. Just like the story about a little girl and the long, rough path she was thrown into.
The path that brought her to him.
___
Present tense E&T don’t revisit the painful past too often, but ever since Miami, Ethan has always been mindful of the injury and even though Tiffany assures him that she never saw her future as a professional dancer, he knows that deep down she misses the thrill of it all. So whenever she’s up for slow dancing, he is too. Felicity Addams is a topic for a different conversation ksgsgksv
Sorry it got so long, I just couldn’t stop writing kfjkdjgk Hope you enjoyed reading it anyway!

Chasing After You (1)
Hello!  So this will be a different SOA/Jax Teller kind of story. It’s gonna be more like a non-cannon version and will not feature scenes from the past seasons. This story takes place after season 7 and Jax is still alive and well. It’s gonna be a rollercoaster kind of story but in a good way!
If you would like to be tagged, please let me know. Hope those of you that read this enjoy it and let me know what you think!
Tumblr media
“What about this one?”
I looked over at my assistant, an off-white dress hanging in front of her. “It’s cute but not really my style.”
We had been at this for almost two hours and still having no luck. I was to be married in less than two months and my search for a wedding dress was basically slim to none at this point. I had been to all the fancy bridal shops that Fort Lauderdale and Miami had to offer. Hell, I even flew to New York to see if I could find one. Many of the gowns were beautiful but I had at least one negative thought about each of them. Too white. Too long. Too lacy. Too much skin. Not enough skin. The list went on and on.
I took a seat on the plush couch, leaning my head back in frustration. It wasn’t this hard the last time.
“You okay?” The couch dipped as Sophie took a seat next to me.
I looked up at her, nodding my head, “I guess.” I sighed. “I never have this much trouble picking out outfits that grace the cover of the world’s biggest fashion magazine, but I can’t even pick out my own wedding dress. Am I losing my touch or something?”
Sophie laughed, “Picking out these things are hard because this is one of the biggest days of your life. You want everything to be perfect and you are a perfectionist, my dear.”
She was right. Everything had to be perfect. My fiancé’s family was coming in from overseas and I didn’t want them thinking that he was marrying some crackpot from America. It didn’t fucking help that his mother was also a perfectionist and making my life hell at this point. During the first few shopping trips, she gave her “most honest opinion” which consisted of comments regarding my weight, height, and the model wore it better. She would tell me that she knew what was best for her son and that he wouldn’t like certain dresses that I had tried on. I honestly wanted to cry at one point but made sure to drink my sorrows away once I was back at my house.
“Maybe we should hang it up for today.” I picked at my nail polish. “Give it another try in a couple days.”
Sophie stayed silent, nodding her head in agreement.
“Maybe by then-“ I paused as I removed myself from the couch, “I can find something and end this pain and misery.”
“At least everything else is squared away, right?” Sophie smiled.
“Yeah, hopefully.” I smirked…
After a visit to my favorite liquor store and ordering way more Chinese food than I needed, I made my way back to my apartment. I laid my bags on the table, removing my sweater and shoes in the process. I removed a shot glass out of the cabinet, removing the bottle of Jack from the bag, and poured myself a generous shot. The brown liquid lit a fire in my body as it traveled into my stomach, a fire that I needed and enjoyed. Heath was not a fan of drinking. He said that the only alcoholic beverage a woman should drink is champaign and that’s only during special occasions. He thought it was trashy of a woman to drink hard liquor such as whiskey and tequila. Hell, he threw away my whole collection of men a couple weeks ago. Johnny, Jameson, Jack, and Jim all went down the drain and I was left to my own accord.
“Named him after a man of the cloth, named him Amos Moses.” I sang along to the radio. I poured another shot, this time taking a couple sips before walking towards the bedroom. Before I could enter the room fully, my cell phone started buzzing from the kitchen. I let out a groan as I turned back and sprinted towards the device. I figured that it was Heath or Sophia, so I didn’t bother to look at the screen.
“Hello?”
There was silence for a moment, “Rachel?”
I hadn’t heard that voice in years. His voice had gotten deeper with age, most likely due to his smoking and drinking habits. “Rach, I know you’re there.”
My heart was beating out of my chest at this point. I had to take a seat on the bed, the phone almost dropping out of my hand.
“Listen-“ He spoke again. “I’ve only got a couple minutes to talk but I need your help. The club is in some shit and everything seems to be falling down around us. I have to get the fuck out of Charming before I end up getting everyone killed.”
The club was everything to Jax. Hell, his whole life revolved around that stupid MC. “I’m getting out of lockup in a few days and I have to get the fuck out of town before shit hits the fan. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I need a place to crash for a while or until Chibs and Tig can get things settled down here. Gemma and Collette are gone; you’re the only person I have left.”
I read that Gemma had been killed up in Eureka at her dad’s old place. Apparently, someone shot her in the back of the head and just left her body in the flower garden. Whoever shot her must have known her well enough for her to trust them and also to know where she was. My feelings toward Gemma had always been a mixed bag. During Jax and I’s relationship, she taught me the ropes but also made me hate her as the years went by. She was the queen and didn’t like some little tart coming into her only, living child’s life and taking over. She was no longer the queen on the MC and her time in Jax’s life was dwindling as well. Jax wanted out of the life so bad, especially after Opie died.
“I know we haven’t talked in years but you’re still my wife, my only hope at this point.” The sadness in his voice was foreign. Usually there was anger and hate in his tone, never sadness. “Please just pick up, Rachel.”
I stared at the wall; my breath hitched in my throat. I didn’t know what to say, especially with how things ended between Jax and I. It was cluster fuck on wheels and just hearing his voice right now brought back so many memories.
He let out a sigh, “I really need you, Rachel. I’ve never needed someone so bad in m-“
The phone line went silent, followed by a dial tone.
I sat there stoned face, the phone still sitting in my hands. Part of me felt bad for not speaking but the other half was mentally giving Jackson Teller a big fuck you and moving on. What was I supposed to do? I left him for a reason and now he expected me to drop everything and have him come back into my life. I moved on. He moved on (multiple times). We weren’t married anymore, and I didn’t owe him anything. I’m sure there was some hang-around or tramp in Nevada or Oregon that could help him out. For being as handsome as he was, it wasn’t hard for him to find a companion for a night or two. All he needed to do was drop that smile and put on the Teller charm and the girls would come swarming…
“Can I get a Jack and diet coke, please?”
The bartender nodded his head, turning back to gather the supplies for my request. I pulled out my phone and started reading through the work emails that I had put on the back-burner.
“Jack and coke-“A deep voice sounded from beside me. “You look more like a daiquiri type of girl.”
I slowly turned my head in the direction of the voice, a smirk spreading across my face. “Oh, yeah?” I removed a piece of ice from drink, bringing it around my lips. “What does a daiquiri type of girl look like?”
A smile slowly formed across his face, “Sex on legs.”
I rolled my eyes at his answer, “What does sex on legs look like?”
The man took a seat next to me, his hand brushing against my bare leg, “Someone who knows what she wants and makes sure she gets exactly that-“He moved closer, his face inches from mine, “And even more.”
“You think your hot shit, don’t you?” My voice lowered an octave. “Come in here with your fancy dress clothes, with a couple buttons popped open, and those pants tighter than they should be. I’m sure you drive all the women crazy.” His smile dropped, his face becoming serious. “There’s only one I want to drive crazy.”
I stared into his green eyes, a fire igniting in my core. “I have a room booked upstairs if you would like to join me?” His hand slowly started to run up my leg, his fingernails dragging slowly up my skin. “Don’t want to see a girl like you sitting down her all by herself. You never know what kind of riff-raff is around places like this.”
My breath hitched when his hand slowly slipped past the hem of my dress. “I have a fiancé.” I stuttered. “He’s gonna be worried when I don’t come home.”
The world was still spinning around us, but it felt like it was just him and I at this point. The couple that was sitting to my left had faded away and the bartender that poured my drink was no longer there. At this point, I could care less if anyone say what was happening between him and I. I’m sure someone noticed at this point.
His smirk returned as his fingers found the spot he was hunting for, a slight moan escaping through my red lips. “Well-“ He leaned forward, his lips brushing against my ear, “You’ll be coming but you won’t be coming home…”
“Do you have to do that while I’m laying right here?”
I looked up at my fiancé, watching as he inhaled the smoke from his lit cigarette. “What would happen if you drop that thing on me and next thing you know, boom! I’m on fire and then you won’t have anyone to fool around with in expensive hotel rooms.”
He looked at me as if I had three heads for a moment, “Did I fuck you that hard?”
Heath and I had this running bit where we would meet up at the same hotel, same time of day, and same place, acting as if we were total strangers. We would do this back-and-forth role play that eventually led us both to the bedroom that he had booked for the night. It was fun at first, acting as if you’re someone else and this handsome, mystery guy approaches you and fucks you senseless.
I let out a sigh, “You know I hate when you smoke in bed, especially if I’m in it.”
“Would you prefer I go out on the balcony and smoke in the nude?” He questioned. “You want everyone at this hotel seeing my dick and calling the police on me?”
I rolled my eyes, pulling the sheet across my body as I removed myself from the bed. “I’m going in the shower. Don’t want to smell like a cheap whore and cigarette smoke.”
I closed the bathroom door before he could respond, dropping the sheet and turned on the shower. I examined myself in the mirror as the water heated up. Hickies littered my breast, ribs, and thighs, Heath staying away from my neck and upper chest due to the outfits I wore to work. We also had to attend a gala tonight and the dress I bought would not go well with scattered love bites. I turned back towards the shower, reaching my hand under the stream of water, deciding that it was perfect. Before I could enter fully, the bathroom door opened, revealing Heath, the same cigarette hanging from his plump lips. “Mind if I join you?”
I let out a laugh seeing how ridiculous he looked. His hair was sticking out all over the place, his skin was littered with love bites, and that damn cigarette hanging from the side of his mouth just tied everything together. “Put out the cigarette and I might consider it.”
His eyes never left mine as he took one last puff before placing the stick in the toilet. My heart began to pound harder as he sauntered over to the shower, his tall body towering over me as the water ran down his body. “Happy now.”
I didn’t say anything, instead pulling his head down, placing my lips over his. His hands instantly caressed my body, pulling me flush against him. Within seconds, his hands moved to my ass, hoisting me onto his narrow hips, pushing me against him and the shower wall. I was so zoned into him that I blocked out the noise of the shower and the sound of my phone ringing. It wasn’t until Heath muttered something about it ringing that I finally snapped out of my haze and focused on it as well.
“It might be important.” I moaned out as his teeth grazed against my breast.
“Fuck important, they can leave a fucking message.” Heath’s voice flooding with annoyance.
The phone went silent for a moment before the ringing started again. “I’m gonna answer it.” I pushed his body away from mine, removing myself from the warm shower. I shivered as I walked over to my phone, the same California number as before popping up on the screen. I already knew who it was, and my heart was racing again because of it. My wet finger hovered over the green button, hesitant to answer the call. I don’t know if it was a slip of the wrist of what, but the call was answered, and my past started speaking.
“Rachel, please just talk to me and hear me out. I’m getting out tomorrow and I need your fucking help. I wouldn’t be calling like this if I had someone else. I know you fucking hate me, but I need you, darlin.”
Darlin. That fucking word used to bring me to my knees. “Please, Rachel.”
Without thinking, I spoke up. “What do you want?”
Jax’s line was silent for a moment, probably shocked that I actually spoke. “It’s so good to hear your voice.” I rolled my eyes at his statement. “You have no idea how long I’ve wai-“
“Cut the shit and tell me what you want?” I interrupted. I looked back at the shower, making sure Heath wasn’t paying attention to me. I removed a towel from the rack and snuck into the bedroom. This way, I could speak to Jax and not have to worry about Heath hearing me. “You call me out of the fucking blue, after years of not speaking, and you fucking ask me for help? Do you know how ridiculous that sounds, Jax?”
He sighed, “I know and I’m sorry. I wouldn’t be calling if I didn’t think you couldn’t help me but I know that you can and you will. You have too good of a heart not to help me, Rachel.”
I scoffed at his words, “My heart of gold was ripped out when you fucking cheated on me with Collette and almost got me killed because of it.”
The line was silent once again, “There’s nothing I can do to help you, Jackson. I have my own life and it’s up to you to find out how to gain your own. You need to call someone else or just face the fucking mu-“
“I’m gonna die if I don’t get out of here, Rachel. I fucking murdered a patched member because of all the lies and damage that this fucking club has caused. Gemma’s dead. Collette’s dead. Fuck, Bobby’s fucking dead and it’s all because of me and I’m gonna die too if I don’t figure something out.” His voice quivered with emotion. “I’m sorry for what I did to you and that I was such a shit husband but I’m desperate.”
Tears started to well up in my eyes, my heart breaking at the news of Bobby’s passing. My heart was also breaking because of Jax. He sounded so defeated, a sound I thought I would never hear.
“Baby.” Heath’s voice rang out. “Are you coming back?”
I quickly composed myself, wiping away the tears that had sprung. “Just a second.” I yelled, knowing Jax had heard Heath’s voice on the other end.
Jax stayed silent for a moment, “What do you say, Rach?”
I thought for a moment, my head and heart pulling me in different directions. Finally, I just blurted out words. “I’ll book you on the last flight to Fort Lauderdale tomorrow.”

Glow - Danny Rayburn x Reader (Bloodline)
☃❄!Holiday Fic 2!☃❄
I STG every time I see GIFs of him I’m like “Let me write for you some more...”
Tumblr media
Author’s Note: Hello! Welcome to the second Holiday fic! So, spoilers, Danny is getting two... Because I realise that whenever I write him I always automatically go back to the familiarity of my 10 part series. Rather than, y’know, giving him another reader.
So whilst my friend and I called me out on it, we came up with this plot! Glow ~ Brett Eldredge  I’m officially pulling out all the original songs rather than Holiday classics... I’m sorry! 🤣🤣 Disclaimer: Lyrics not mine / Bloodline characters not mine / So - This is basically made up of throwing random questions at Midwesterner’s and some stuff I did when I spent Christmas with family in Chicago...! Premise: On a trip back to your parents, and the Christmas alcohol run, you figure Danny needs to learn about Midwest weather the hard way... Words: 2524 Warnings: Swearing / Drinking
This fire is nice But so are your eyes They twinkle when you smile Ain't felt this warm in a while That northern star Shines straight from your heart Pour on the bourbon it's gettin' late Let's melt all the frost on the window pane Let's never let this moment slip away Just stay, just stay You look good in the light of my Christmas tree You and the mistletoe and me You are my sunshine over a field of snow And I love to watch you glow Come on, just glow Come on and glow, just glow
---
The initial idea wasn’t really to have it pan out like this. You and Danny were going to have a fairly quiet Christmas - at least, that’s what you’d talked about. Maybe see Nolan, maybe go out to his restaurant... but you knew you weren’t going to see his family. Only, a few weeks before Christmas that plan went up in smoke, because when your parents invited you back home, and you said you wanted to stay with your boyfriend, they had simply said bring him too!
Your first thought was you might still get away with not going (not that you didn’t want to see your family of course. But you knew Danny needed you as much here), was that Danny wouldn’t warm to the idea at all and would rather stay home. Not the case. “Oh? Really!” “Yeah that’s what they said...” “That’d be nice-! I mean; you’re from all the way Midwest - I’ve obviously done a little moving from the Keys to here... but... I’ve never been out of State..! This will be nice!” You raised an eyebrow at him; “...You do realise that it’s gonna be freezing. Right? Snow, ice... you name it. You sure you can handle it?! Being a Florida native!!?” “I can handle it.” Danny gave a not of assurance “You ever seen snow and ice!?” He laughed; “Yeah-! You know we get freak weather down here.” “Storms and hurricanes are not blizzards and below freezing.” But Danny insisted; “I got this!” “Geeez... you better have a winter coat, and a good scarf and gloves!! And I still think you should be prepared to eat your words!!”
 ***
And so he did. Although Danny was prepared to put on a brave face about it when it was cold but dry, not a speck of white in sight, and refused to complain even though it was obvious he wasn’t exactly enjoying it. “Missing your Florida heat-!?” You couldn’t help but tease him “Nah-! It’s just Winter Sun!!” You let that one go. Fairly certainly that Midwesterners would call a trip to Florida ‘Winter Sun’… wait, was that the joke?
He got on with your parents and siblings just fine, which is exactly what you wanted, thinking on his family - but Danny never made himself hard to get on with. Just hard to get to know... There was a lot deep within that he carried everywhere he went; and Danny liked to hide this with a (mostly) positive outlook. Although, that fared better in his usual sunshine. Of course, once he’d volunteered his services for cooking, the more culinary skilled in your family jumped on that; and you knew Danny was going to spend the majority of Christmas Day showing off. Ah, I’m just a chef – He tried to play it down, with a beaming smile, but you obviously weren’t falling for it. Yes, try head of one of the best restaurants in Miami. And that wasn’t just your opinion.
But then it snowed. And whilst he could look at it with a kind of childish wonder falling outside your window, and the way the sun sparkled upon it - when your mom asked you to walk down the road and stock up on alcohol, that was when reality set in. Because half way down the road - as if he wasn’t already complaining - the snow started falling again. It was light and not too bad for you; you were comfortable in a light jacket, you did have a scarf; but it was cotton instead of wool and looked like something you might be able to accessorise with in summer. Danny wasn’t. “How are you anywhere NEAR warm!” “I told you it was going to be freezing!” He jabbed a finger at you, pulling his hat down further over his ears, “You clearly don’t count this as freezing!” You wound your arms around his and put up your umbrella to catch the snow, and stop it falling on your already moody and cold Florida Boy. “I just think you run a little hotter down there.” That at least picked up his smirk and he nudged you; “Damn right.” You nudged him back; “Manners! Or I’ll shove you in it! Then you’ll know what cold really is…” “If you f**king dare-!” Danny had you laughing again; at how red his cheeks were, and his nose. “You look cold.” “Thanks! I am!!!” He buried his face in his scarf and huddled his body, in order to make best of his own warmth, putting his hands into his pockets. “Poor baby...” “It’s not funny! I’m suffering!” “Just seems like someone didn’t listen!” “I listened! I’m prepared! We don’t have to walk this!”
True enough, you could have had a warm cozy 5 minute car ride... “Well, now you can tell all your friends you’ve had the authentic Midwestern winter experience, including being outside on a walk in snow... you may exaggerate in depth... and didn’t die!” He grumbled again, “I could well die by the time we’ve finished!” You tsk’d him “Don’t be such a drama queen!” “And you’re expecting me to carry liquor back-!” “Would be helpful - will also warm you up...” you turned back to him with a grin “and we can’t very well drink and drive...”
You kept walking, but he slowed down, dragging his feet and trudging on purpose to really hit home with you how “difficult” this was for him. “...That’s not getting you there any faster!” “Well, where the f**k is this place!!?” You pointed ahead of you, “Just on that corner! Hey! You could run! That would warm you up!” Instead of saying a variant, and probably much less polite version, of screw you Danny opted to shove you instead. To his own peril, because it was a little too hard, and you ended up on the ground, in the snow.
He was laughing hard right away, which you supposed stopped him from grumbling but it also distorted his apology somewhat; “Sh-shit! I’m sorry!!!” You took about 5 full seconds to look up at him and react - “—oh! You are so dead!!!” “No! No! No!” He shrunk back - but too late as you grasped at the snow around you and threw it - “Stop!!” No way in hell you were about to stop though; as you scrambled to your feet and shook the snow from your clothing “Danny!!!” It was a whine. “Well I told you-!” You threw another lump of snow at him, he didn’t tell you anything, if he’d quit being such a drama queen you’d be there and back by now - “Stop! Dammit!!” “Oh no-! You full on deserve it-!”
And so, even though he was bitterly cold. The two of you wound up in a snow ball fight. The actual purpose of this walk soon forgotten. You were lucky no one else was around with the amount of yelling and laughing that was going on. Volume button clearly on max. Eventually your cold - and getting colder - boyfriend bent forward with his hands on his knees, exhausted. He took deep breaths after nearly every word, “That’s enough... I’m done... oh god...” You folded your arms, and teased him, ready to proclaim your victory; “Thought it might warm you up!” Danny held up his hand, “Maybe, a little. But, you’ve worn me out.” “Ahhh-! This must be the second most fun way to do that...” You couldn’t help your grin He ended up bending lower as he laughed “oh... god! Don’t! It hurts!” You approached him slowly, with a triumphant swagger to your step; “Do you give, Florida boy? Do I win?” “I didn’t say that.” “Do I win!?” You’d give him one more chance to give the right answer. He straightened “No.”
That was also his mistake, because the next thing Danny knew you’d wrestled him to another bent position and ice was sliding nicely down the back of his shirt. “No! NO!!” He almost shrieked, “F**k! Y/N!! Oh god!” “There. That ought to perk you up!” “Oh GOD!! Get it out!!” “Tell me I win and I’ll consider it!” “AH!!!!” It was certainly amusing to watch him twist his body to shake it out of his shirt quickly, to no avail. “Danny.” “I give, I give!!!” He flailed around trying to remove the ice himself - and by the time you’d got him to hold still to find it, it had pretty much melted.
“I hate you.” He was once again huddled up, looking sorry for himself, as you both continued your walk. You were still smiling, replaying his helpless shrieks in your head; “I love you too. It’ll be warm inside you’ll dry off in no time!” “Then we gotta go back!” “At which point the alcohol will warm us-!” You patted his chest; “Danny we got this covered!!”
**
In fact you spent a good hour perusing the shelves of the store, and he seemed to perk up a bit. Danny wasn’t a wine connoisseur himself, but you knew he knew how to pair dishes and wines. And as he selected them, equally enjoyed telling you how all the flavours were going to work. Then got to laugh at you going a little mad with the mixers. “Whiskey-!” “I knew you’d drag me down here!” “Hush...” He traced his fingers over the shelves, musing over the bottles “What, are you gonna top shelf me?” “If they have it...” “This better be the one you rave about.” He stopped with a smirk, and turned back to you, fingers on the bottle; “It’s gonna blow your mind.”
Funnier still was the cashiers face when he saw all the alcohol, and you had to swear it was for your whole family to last all of Christmas and New Year. And to top that, when he politely asked for your ID and turned to Danny; Your partners face was a picture; “You’re KIDDING-!?” You eyed him; “Tell me you have it.” The look he gave you was murder, “Have you seen my face-!?” The cashier laughed; “If you have it, it wouldn’t go amiss sir...” Danny scoffed and handed it over, “I know you’re gonna try to make me feel good about looking under 21. I’m still insulted...” “That seems to be in order!” He grinned and handed it back to Danny who was still grumbling.
You were staring intently at his face as you left the store; “Fancy getting ID’d in your 40s...” “Clearly my youthful good looks-!” “Amen.”  He nudged you at your sarcasm; “Hey! We don’t need a repeat of earlier with all these bottles!” “Oh, I think we do! This time ice is going down your shirt!” “Oh I have no doubt you’ll get revenge..!” You smirked gently “Damn f**kin’ right!”
** By the time you got back the sky has cleared up. But Danny once again looked cold and worse for wear - so you set the fire going and bundled him in blankets on the sofa with a scarf. (After changing his shirt, of course). “Too early to pour whiskey?” “I wouldn’t say so...” You snuggled up with him but he was still grumbling away; “If I get a cold cuz of you-!” “Oh-! It’s just woe and suffering always with you, ain’t it Danny Rayburn.” “Yes. Actually. Especially with you...”  You fell silent as to the mock seriousness of his tone. “Geez I’m kidding-!” He wound his arms around you and kissed you gently “.... I love you. I wouldn’t change this for anything.” You pretended to huff; “Just checking!” Danny pulled you further to him and placed his head to yours, “You never should need to check though... should you? I would hope you knew.” “Danny...” Your voice was tender, because the last thing you wanted to do was lead him down that road, especially at this time of year; “I do... I do know.”
You shared a gentle, sweet kiss, before you were interrupted. By a sneeze. “Oh shit!” You hoped you hadn’t spoken too soon. “If this is a cold! It’s on you!” “At least whiskey is medicinal!” You grinned, but he didn’t find it all that funny.   “A cold for Christmas! Perfect!” “I think you’re overreacting to one sneeze Daniel Rayburn; I was way less dressed than you.” “You didn’t have ice stuck down your shirt!!” “Okay fair, I take the blame for that.” He huddled further into the blankets and you really did hope that it wasn’t a proper cold setting in. Or you would never hear the end of it. You sat and cuddled and continued to talk quietly, you running your hands through his hair and giving him soft kisses every so often.
The next interruption was on behalf of your parents. Looking from you, not really all that bothered with the fire or blanket, to Danny, blankets and pillows and still wrapped in a scarf and as close to the fire as he could get himself on the couch, and sighed. Typical all they had asked for was an alcohol run. “What have you done to him!” Both of you looked up and you held up your hands defensively - “Nothing!” “Ha!! Nothing!!” He laughed “Sounds like something!” “It was a snow ball fight, no big.” “She fights dirty!” You gasped and nudged him hard; “I was raised right!” “Ah, well you’re a fighter, I knew that one already...” Your parents both gasped in mock horror at the attitude of their daughter; “Y/N!” “Oh come on! He needs to get used to the Midwest!” “Gently!” “What-!? No! Throw him out in the snow and leave him there for a few hours!” You laughed, “Then he’ll be a natural! That’s the only way you learn!” Danny narrowed his eyes as you, folding his arms; “Learned that the Miami hard way, did you?” You turned back to him, “You should ask the past me and her sunburn that.” He sucked his breath between his teeth; “Ow! Yeah I feel ya!”
Your parents brought you back to the real conversation; “How’s the alcohol looking!” “Good! Think we cleared the store!” Danny raised his glass “Thank you! Both of you-! And Danny, you don’t have to put up with her..!” “Oh!” He smiled “I rather believe she puts up with me... she’s no trouble.” He grinned, with a little wink; “Well... maybe a bit of trouble!”
Your parents left you to it after that, and eventually his warmth and being cuddled here with him and blankets and the fire got the better of both of you. So when they returned a little bit later to call you both for dinner, you were both lying tangled in each other’s arms on the couch. Danny’s around you; protective, and yours arms around him; comforting... “Do we wake them?” “No... leave them to it...” “They’re good together don’t you think?” “Good for each other. I would say. It’s nice to see!” “Maybe she could have introduced him to the snow a little nicer.” “Ah... I think... if we know anything... Danny didn’t mind one bit!”

In Good Company (Part 3)
Brian May x Reader: The reader is the 5th member of queen, and she sleeps with brian when they were both drunk and she finds out she’s pregnant half way through a tour, causing her to try and hide the pregnancy from, everyone, especially brian.rock stars can’t have babies, right?
Note:this part is smutty and takes place in the past. If you don’t wanna read it the next part continues from part 2, but this is a bit of a background to what exactly happened on that special night between Brian and Y/N. it’s also very Brian May centered for a change! also always use protection while having sex, children. Thank you every one for such positive reactions! it really means the world to me!! this series is almost over, but there shall be more to come! for now, enjoy lovies!! 🥰🥰🥰
The halfway point of the tour was just coming around the corner. Stakes were high for a great show every night, and Queen delivered. Critics raved and reviewed the shows and concerts, many stages and cities selling out of tickets left and right. It was a dream for Queen, honestly. But everyone was getting annoyed, bugged and even upset with one another. Being crowded on a tiny tour bus was absolute chaos most of the time and had really began to take its toll on the 5 members of the band in their own respective ways.
When Miami had announced that the band was getting a three-day holiday in-between moving to cities, Brian May had almost began to cry of happiness. Every person from Freddie to Roger, John to Brian, and even Y/N to the management were so relieved that they stopped no less than an hour later to begin their epic three-day ‘weekend’. They booked a hotel, and decided to relax in their own separate rooms to wind down from each other, unloading their emotions and finally feeling some peace in the alone time they had gained.
There was a sudden banging on Brian May’s door and he couldn’t help but roll his eyes. What could be more important than relaxing in such a hectic time? He sighed and rolled his eyes, making his way slowly to the door. He opened it and let out an annoyed sigh. “What do you want, Rog?” Brian asked, his voice laced with annoyance.
Roger pushed his way into Brian’s suite and shoved a beer into his hand. “There’s a club. Get your party suit on.” Roger teased. Brian considered it for a moment before Roger seemed to read his mind. “Y/N’s already down there, and so is Fred. Come on, she’s wearing that red dress she got when we went to New Orleans.” Roger raised his eyebrow and wiggled his tongue playfully, making Brian’s face the same color of the dance dress she had found from a vintage supply store on the last leg of the tour. “Fine. But shut it. I don’t need her hearing any of that.” Brian huffed and crossed his arms.
“She won’t hear anything from me.” Roger sighed quite dramatically, spinning around and sipping his beer.
“Freddie, however can’t keep his mouth shut and they were in the lobby whispering about something. I heard her say ‘Brian” a few times.” He giggled before closing the door and leaving Brian to fume.
Needless to say, Brian had falling quite madly for Y/N, ever since they had met in college. He was astounded by her brilliance and kind nature to help him with any of his endeavors, leading to the success of their band, Queen. Never the less, he really didn’t want to ruin a good friendship, especially now that they were a whole country over and in the middle of a tour. Feelings would just have to wait. For now, it was fun and games. Brian shook his head and ran a shaky hand through his dark curls before deciding to go down to the hotel lobby with Roger and join the group for a night of drinks and dancing.
After everyone had their turns dancing on the floor with randoms and with each other, many shots of all kinds and varieties, everyone decided that it was time to retire and go to bed. They had the chance to sleep and sleep for a long while, and everyone deserved the rest.
A few hours had passed and Brian found himself lonesome, very drunk and in a sad state again, wishing for some company, but he seemed too shy to ask for it. He gathered his thoughts and closed his eyes, sitting down on his hotel room floor, taking out his song journal and began to write a few things. “Dun dun dun, hmm hmm hmmh… my father said to me… ” He sang under his breath as he mused through songs and lyrics. He was trying to focus through his drunken, numbing haze when his phone began to ring. He furrowed his eyes and stood, picking up the phone. “Hullo, this is erhm… Brian speaking.” He said quietly over the line. “Hello… is your refrigerator running?” a goofy voice said over the phone. He immediately began to grin, knowing it was Y/N calling him. “Why, yes, it is running.” He replied, acting quite oblivious, voice turning dumb. “Then you better go catch it!” The voice shouted before there were helpless, tipsy giggles on the other line.  Brian laughed to himself and shook his head, feeling his heart swell in his chest. He was about to hang up before he heard the voice again, this time, not as silly. “Bri! It’s me, It’s Y/N.” She said, her voice slurred a little but sweet.
“Oh, silly me. I had no idea!” Brian pretended to be shocked, causing more giggles to erupt over the phone.
“You’re mad.” Y/N said, finger twirling the phone line while she spoke. “Are you busy? Like, right now?” She asked, hiccupping a little. “I’m rather bored and find myself looking for someone to talk to, and I thought, why not Brian! Brian is a great person who has the best conversations with!” She seemed to babble.
“I thought you didn’t have that much to drink?” He asked, stifling a laugh. He put his hand on his hip and bit his cheek.
“Maybe a little more than what I thought. But I found out that these suites are packed full of more kinds of alcohol!” There was a pause. “Bring your guitar to my suite and hang out with me tonight.” She said her voice as sweet and pure as honey, before she hung up the phone. The dial tone was quite obnoxious in Brian’s ear. He couldn’t help but feel a little excited, but it was their routine. Even in the flat they shared. Long nights with each other’s company and music. It was a great comfort to him and apparently Y/N too.
Within a few minutes, Brian was in his pajamas and took his guitar down the hall to Y/N’s suite. He knocked on the door politely, before he heard some stumbling, a great “Ow” and some rustling noises before the door opened. Y/N stood in the door way, eyes heavy and smiling waning on her face.
“Brian!” She shouted, pulling him into a great hug.
“Hello, hello love!” Bri laughed as she tugged him into the room. She took his hand and lead him to her bed and sat him on the edge. “Need anything to drink?” She asked, opening up a little fridge packed full of tiny bottles of liquor, trying to hide the many, many bottles that had already formed a pile behind her.
“Maybe something not so strong.” Brian answered, playing with the ends of his hair that weren’t quite dry from his shower he took earlier. Y/N hummed and rummaged around in the fridge before tossing a little bottle of brandy to him. “This’ll warm up your vocals.” Her melodic voice turned to giggles as she sat next to him, leaning against his side.
“I’m so happy to have some rest, Bri. You don’t even know it. I think I was starting to go mad from listening to Roger complain.”
“You and me both.” He let out a sigh and shook his head, gently picking at a few chords and notes. They didn’t have any rhyme or purpose, but it did make some lovely background noise.
Y/n’s head began to feel heavy and her eyes were tired too.
“Bri, can I ask you something?” She asked gently, turning her face towards Brian.
“Anything.” He said, heart rate quickening. The space between them was small and the air was sweet with alcohol and freshly cleaned bodies.
“Do you ever get lonely? Like really lonely. Like, there’s this important person in your life that you love so dearly, you could see them all day every day, but even then, you miss them terribly?” She babbled, playing with a hem on her shirt sleeve. “Because you don’t know how they feel or you just assume the worst? No matter what you do or say, or how much you see them, it just hurts because you miss them. You miss the feeling of them inside your heart, even though they weren’t there for very long.” Her words were slow and slurred, but she was speaking from deep in her soul. Her glossy eyes looked to Brian’s face, unable to read his emotions in her drunken state.
Brian felt his hands go numb. His chest and ached and his throat burned. He swallowed hard and felt Y/N grow closer, smelling the alcohol on her breath and the sadness spinning in circles in her eyes. “I do. This tour has been really hard. I may be surrounded by my friends, no, my family. But I still feel lonely.” Brian managed, voice quiet. His fingers had stopped playing a while ago. ‘I feel lonely, because I can’t have you. I miss you because I love you. I love you too much.’ He thought to himself. Y/N’s eyes had flickered from his eyes to lips multiple times, before she just about crashed into his face. Her hands found Brian’s jaw, her fingers warm against his cool skin. Y/N leaned forward and gently kissed him. It was slow and didn’t last very long, but it felt like an eternity.
Brian was left speechless, cheeks burning bright and eyes left to rapidly blink, trying to make sense of the situation. Y/N noticed and felt her stomach drop, she suddenly felt sick. Brian’s silence was deafening.
She sucked in a sobering breath, realizing her mistake before she stood. She swallowed, her body seeming to carry her for she couldn’t feel her legs. “It’s late.” She said softly, heart breaking into a million pieces. “You should go to bed, I’m sorry… I’m just not in the right mind set or something. Over thinking, I suppose. I might have had a bit too much to drink” She said, palm to her forehead, avoiding Brian’s face as she opened the door for him. “I’m sorry Brian, I didn’t mean to-“ Y/N had began to apologize, before Brian walked over to her, sweeping her up into a deep passionate kiss. It was electric and her body stuck to his. His hand found hers on the door knob and closed it shut, never faltering in the kiss. When he had finally pulled away, Y/N opened her eyes, breathless and face red. Her eyes found Brian’s, ever so kind and longing.
“I love you too, Y/N.” He smiled so sweetly her stomach was sent into butterflies yet again. Maybe it was the alcohol, or maybe it was true love.
Y/N wrapped her arms around Brian’s neck, feeling his hands wrap under her thighs, so she jumped and was now being carried by him. She continued to kiss him. Lips, cheeks, neck, collar bones, she was leaving not so graceful kisses, sucking until his skin was bright pink. Brian gently laid her back on the bed, her legs still wrapped around his waist, pulling him down with her.
“Love, you can let go.” Brian chuckled, struggling a little bit to keep his balance.
“No, I just got you I don’t wanna let you go.” She whined, looking up to him with playful eyes.
“I won’t leave, promise.” He nuzzled his nose upon hers, her eyes fluttering shut.
“What time is it?” Y/N asked, rolling her shoulder’s back a little.
“It’s…. late.” Brian said quietly.
Y/N’s eyes never left Brian’s, her heart pounding so hard. She felt her courage spike, hoping she wouldn’t regret her choices.
“Take me.” She said in a heavy golden voice, so low in her chest that Brian felt his ears turn hot and his pants become uncomfortably tight.
“Y/N… We can’t. We’re drunk. I don’t want you to regret doing this with me.” Brian began to worry, voice still soft.
Y/n looked back to him, stunned. “I have always wanted you Brian.” Her hand found his cheek again, holding it. “I want this with you. I always have. Please.” She said, voice so vulnerable.
Brian blinked rapidly, scared he’d hurt her or wouldn’t even be enough for her. He didn’t know what to say, mind buzzing at the speed of light.
Y/N rolled her eyes and gave him a little squeeze with her legs, gaining his attention before kissing him again. “I love you, Brian May.” She whispered.
Brian smiled with confidence, his heart going wild in his chest. “I love you, Y/N.” He said, before his lips met hers again and he started to climb up on the bed, nestling right over top of her. Y/n pulled her self up on the bed more so that Brian’s long legs wouldn’t hang off, her fingers fumbling with the shirt Brian was wearing. In between breathy kisses and very uncorrelated undressing, Brian’s mouth lingered down from her lips to her neck, feeling her heart beat fast under his touch. He couldn’t help starring at her beautifully flushed face. She looked so serene and angelic with her hair messy and her lips kiss bitten by himself.
“That’s so good… oh, please don’t stop Bri.” She managed, her words slurred as she felt Brian kiss his way to her breasts. She quickly sat up a little and got the bra off in a moment, tossing it over to the side, allowing Brian to have as much fun as he wanted. While his teeth and tongue found Y/N’s nipple, her pelvis grinded up into Brian, feeling just how hard he had become already. “This okay?” Brian asked, a little breathless himself.
“It’s wonderful.” She relaxed back, tiny moans starting to be pulled from her throat at the new pecks and nips from Brian. “I want more…” She breathed, her hand finding Brian’s hair while the other held to his side. She let her legs drift open wide with Brian In between. “Lover boy… good old fashioned lover booooyyyy.” She sang, giggling. Brian had to stop kissing her for a moment, laughing with her.
“That song was written about me.” He said with a cheeky grin as he began to make his way down her stomach. She sucked in a gasp when he met her panties.
“Liar.” She scoffed, letting go of his hair to hold on to his shoulder. Brian looked up to her face as his fingers gently tugged at the hem of her panties. She nodded, unable to really find the words as Brian pulled them down and off of her legs. Y/n could feel herself blushing, realizing Brian still had his on.
“Want me to help you with those sir?” She asked, sitting up and accidentally looking at Brian’s hard on. She felt herself squirm with how big it actually was now that she was very up close and personal to it.
She kissed Brian’s tummy before she pulled his pants down, letting his cock spring free. She gasped and felt Brian lay her back down. “Let me help you, love.” He said, beginning to kiss her neck again.  She closed her eyes and felt Brian’s fingers trail down to her hips, to her thigh, and then right to her opening. “It this okay? I want to make sure you’re comfortable.” He said softly, fingers hesitating.
“Yes, Yes Brian… please. This is brilliant.” She nodded her head fast, letting out a long breath as she felt Brian slowly push his pointer finger inside of her opening. She gasped a little at the feeling, steadying herself. She noticed that Brian was still waiting, the gentle men. “I’m alright, keep going.” She smiled, opening her eyes to see Brian’s. She would always remember the hazel green his eyes were when she felt her most at home, which was here, under Brain and protected with his touch.
He slowly began to pump his finger in and out, slowly to get Y/n warmed up to the thought, before he added his middle finger. Y/N’s mouth fell open, letting moans drift out.
“Yes… Good Bri. Excellent.” She praised, hearing him moan against her neck. Complete bliss wasn’t even a fraction of what she was feeling, considering how much alcohol they both had and how much pleasure Brian was giving.
She couldn’t take it anymore, growing needy. Her hips wanted to buck so badly that Brian’s hand had to hold her hips down. “I’m ready… I’m ready Brian. Please…” She moaned, chest bare and heaving in the dark blue light of the hotel room. Brian nodded and swallowed, slowly taking his fingers out and laying almost on top of her. He pumped his cock a few times to stabilize himself, lining himself up with her wet and ready hole. He bowed down and gave her a passionate kiss, tongues passing over each other. “Are you ready, my love? Brian asked, voice a little raw and he was a little sweaty. “As I’ll ever be.” She answered, kissing him deeply. As soon as Brian began to push himself inside, she let out a low moan, eyes rolling back a little. She took a few deep breathes and held to Brian tightly. As soon as he began to thrust, she lost all sense of restraint. Brian’s moaning and heavy panting in between sloppy kisses was enough to send her flying.
“Unh… Oh… I-I… Yes… Yes! Brian yes!” She said, voice as raw as it would be after playing two concerts in one day.
The guitarist blew out threw his mouth, eyes squeezed shut. “Y/n darling… so brilliant… You’re so prefect.” Brian breathed out. Y/n’s toes curled and she could feeling her stomach beginning to clench. “I’m so close already…” She said, opening her eyes to take in the sight in front of her. She would never forget Brian’s squeezed eyes, or his hollow cheeks around his lips that were in a prefect ‘O’, or how bouncy his curls were around his head. “I’m not going to last much longer.” Brian said, panting and readjusting. The second he did, Y/N squealed, hips jerking. “Oh! More! Do that again!” She huffed, smile never leaving her face. Brian’s eyes watched her lashes flutter, feeling himself grow more and more wound up as well.
“Don’t stop… I love you Brian!” She moaned, not knowing how loud either of them were.
Brian grunted, his legs quivering.
“I’m going… I’m going-“ Y/N began before Her walls tightened around Brian and she basically screamed his name, feeling quite dizzy and her vision went blurry. “Oh bri…” She managed so sweetly as she tried to gain her breath again, coming harder then she had ever before.
Her soft gentle voice was enough to send Brian over the edge, moaning quite loudly too, peppering her neck and face with adoring kisses as they both ride the sex high down from their cloud. “I… I love this… I love you. So much, Y/N.” Brian whispered, exhausted. He slowly got up and went to the bathroom, grabbing a wet towel and brought it back to Y/n, washing her down before he freshened up himself. The whole rest of the night was quite a blur for either of them. By the time Brian had woken up, Y/N was gone. She must of snuck off to her room sometime in the night. She had a tendency to find her own bed when she was quite drunk. Brian had little memory of what happened, but he remembered how Y/n looked underneath him, and what it felt like to love her completely. When she didn’t bring it up, he thought maybe it had been a dream, so he stayed quiet.
Now here was Brian May, a few drinks gone and stumbling down the corridor of the hotel Queen was staying in for the night. He wasn’t quite drunk, but he was tipsy enough to forget his own room number. He wandered down a little further, knowing his room wasn’t very far from the end. Suddenly he heard a familiar voice singing from the door to his left. He furrowed his eyes, hearing his own song being sung, before he recognized Y/N’s singing voice. The low hum of the guitar and her equally smooth voice sounded so peaceful. Brian smiled and found that the door was unlocked, so he gently turned the knob, hoping to surprise her.
He tiptoed silently when he entered the room, hearing the music pause, and a quiet gasp, he surely thought his cover had been blown. Put when the gentle notes of the guitar began and her voice began to sing again, He quietly stepped into the light of the room.
He smiled, seeing Y/N laying lazily in a nest of pillow on her bed, with her guitar. But suddenly, his eyes followed her hands to her guitar, and then to her bloated, distended stomach.  Brian shook his head and thought maybe he was seeing things. All medical thoughts and anomalies ran through his mind, feeling his heart race inside his chest. When the realization dawned upon him that Y/N was pregnant, very pregnant, he turned pale, mind blank. Hurt and confusion sent his world crashing down around him, body ice cold and frozen in place.
“Y/N?” He asked, voice no louder than a whisper, hearing the guitar chords stop abruptly.

                                               AVERY MERCER
TWENTY-NINE – PERFORMER AT THE BLACK CAT  – SINCLAIR
Avery Mercer never had to work for a single thing in her life. Whatever she wanted, her mother and father ensured that she had. Mr. and Mrs. Mercer didn’t particularly care if their daughter was spoiled and needy— they had enough money to last a few dozen lifetimes. As long as Avery was well looked after, the Mercer family didn’t care what lengths they had to go through to meet their daughter’s demands. The Mercer family had a pristine reputation. They were a bit snobby— a little high maintenance, but they were, for the most part, entirely harmless. David Mercer was the CFO of a financial institution in Miami. Diane‌ Mercer was a former model, twelve years younger than her husband. Avery grew up in an environment with endless champagne and rose colored glasses. She was privileged, and thus oblivious to the real problems that people faced.
Avery attended private school growing up and, quite honestly, she didn’t do very well. She was coasting by on the generous donations that her father made to the school. Avery didn’t see the use in trying at school because she knew she would always be taken care of. As a result of this sort of thinking, Avery became reckless.‌ Why not act out a bit?‌ Why not dive into some fun?‌ At fourteen, she was binge drinking with her friends, sneaking out to go meet up with boys, and stealing her father’s Mercedes. This was on a weekly basis, too. Her parents did what they could to keep their daughter’s wild behavior under wraps, but it was difficult. They tried bribing her with trips to Europe with her friends, and Avery would always correct herself for the time being, before reverting back to old habits. Her friends weren’t good influences, either – they encouraged Avery’s wild behavior. She reveled in the attention. All in all, Avery was a lonely girl. Money couldn’t buy everything.
If you asked Avery why she acted out, she could probably provide a very detailed, heartfelt answer about how her parents never really paid attention to what was wrong. There was a big, empty void in her chest that only alcohol would fix. Only… Avery wasn’t that eloquent. Her parents had her placed in therapy several times, and each time – the therapists walked out. She wasn’t worth the thousands of dollars per session that her father was paying. Avery acted out because she could. People gave her what she wanted, and as long as she suffered no real consequences because of it, she would do nothing to change the way that she lived.
Avery really thought she could continue living life like she was forever sixteen: young, beautiful, and privileged. Things took a turn for the worse right before her eighteenth birthday. Her father had become… unhinged. After twenty years at the same job, he was let go after some accusations arose of him embezzling millions of dollars.‌‌ Not only that, but Avery had been on the verge of failing out of high school. And, perhaps the worst of it all – his wife, Diane, had been having an affair with one of David’s close friends. Things imploded – David went after his wife. Avery remembers that night very vividly. Her mother and father screaming at each other for hours on end.‌ She stayed in her room, tried to drown out the sounds of their arguing. Then, a gunshot.
Silence.
Avery didn’t leave her room. She bolted her door shut, hid in the closet for what felt like an eternity. Moments later, she heard sirens. Avery was escorted out of the house with the help of two police officers. She managed to catch a glimpse of her father, cold and emotionless, sitting in the back of a cop car. Her father had been planning on going after Avery next. She was lucky the cops got there as quickly as they did.
Nothing about Avery’s life felt normal after that. She was sent off to live with her aunt in Chicago. Avery inherited some of her father’s assets, but most of it wasn’t really his. Life in Chicago felt different than back in Miami. There was no more glamour, no more rose colored glasses for Avery to peer out of. Her aunt lived in a one bedroom apartment in Chicago and worked two jobs to make ends meet. Avery used what little she inherited to help buy them a house in Chicago, but she needed to start helping out – someway, somehow.
She started working at a grocery store. It was the first job she ever had. And when she saw the amount of her first paycheck, she nearly cried. Working was difficult, but she had no choice. It wasn’t an easy transition for Avery. She was angry more than anything else. Her life had never truly been perfect, even when it felt like it was. A year and a half after arriving in‌ Chicago, Avery was starting to become a different person. She was changing, for the better. After all of that turmoil in her life, there had to be some good that came out of it. She started grieving in a healthier way. She didn’t turn towards liquor whenever she felt upset. She didn’t have a desire to break every thing that she touched.
Working as a cashier for the rest of her life wasn’t something‌ Avery was looking forward to. Despite the positive changes in her life, she longed for more. For the family that she never had. She was introduced to the Sinclairs at twenty-four years old. She started off at their bar, Lochlan’s, before deciding she was desperate for something else. Something she enjoyed. Avery had been an exceptional ballet dancer growing. It was one of the hobbies that she actually grew to love. The Sinclairs had a club in need of performers, and Avery auditioned on a whim. It had been a few years since Avery had danced, and while she didn’t move as fluidly as she once did – she clearly made an impression. She was hired almost immediately.
Avery’s been at the Black Cat for a little over three years now. As time went on, she became a pivotal piece of the weekly performances. She was beloved by many. She saved enough to get herself a nice apartment. Avery’s life is quiet now – she stays out of the drama between the Sinclairs and the Costellos. She’s loyal to the Sinclairs only because she works for them– but they’ve never treated her poorly. Avery has no reason to turn her back on them. If anything, she finds herself spending more and more time at the bar, with the other employees, and it feels like home. She’s still haunted by the past, but Avery’s done her best to simply move forward.
