I have been on Pinterest for like 15 years. Nowadays, I use it for two things: finding crochet patterns, and finding pictures of my blorbos.

Yes, I do have a private board just for One Piece. Yes, you can have access if you ask.

But like every other website being slowly enshittified, Pinterest is relying on AI to recommend things to you. And boy does it suck! Here are some I just got, in order from least awful to most.

1. I'll allow it.

2. It is. Men. Pieces of men. Yes.

3. I now headcanon that Beckman and Crocodile occasionally get mistaken for each other, despite looking only vaguely alike. The Dan Radcliffe and Elijah Wood of the One Piece world. It was funny at first but after like a decade of it they're both annoyed.

4) Inexcusable. Even the dynamic is off! The dynamic!!!

In conclusion, AI is good for some things, but the thing it's most good for is being so bad it's funny.

Well, here we are... it's December 31st, 2024!

I'm not going to lie, this year has been pretty quiet for you as followers; mostly because the last time I posted any work was December 6th 2023.

I did finish a long 4 part series this year, I teased it on my blog and I... still haven't edited it properly yet. I hope that time may come in 2025 - I suppose only time will tell.

I would like to thank you all this year for sticking around during the quietest phase I've had since I started writing on here. And for enjoying what I've created over the past few years as much now (whether you're finding me stuff for the first time, or you're back and rereading it!) @sufferthesea @alotofrandomfangirling - Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration. Both to my work, and with your own work! It's been so fun watching your writing go from strength to strength and I'm excited to see what else is in store. But I continue to gather so many ideas from talking to you, and in general you push me to be a better writer (even if what is written doesn't see the light of day for... a while!) Thank you both for being amazing friends! 💜

@mandy23b - It's been FIVE whole years! 👀 Isn't that insane!? Thank you for this years adventures! Thank you for screaming along with me to tv shows, movies and boys driving around in circles! It's been as fun as ever!!! Here is to 2025 shenanigans! This time, over here!!

To close out this post, as every, are my Men of 2024!  Honestly, filling this thing was a struggle! I really either spent a lot of time with just ONE of them (considering I spent 6 months writing for Mihawk.), or there were a lot of fleeting moments that I don't think I would count as MOTY material! 😅 So... I looked to Tumblr, of course! Who had I reblogged a lot of, who were my favourite characters? Who did I write fics in my head for even if it never got further than that? Who got to live rent free? Whose racing triumphs really got me in the feels? (that would be the first 3.) They say things come in cycles... we got some cycles coming back around this year, and I love that for them!
