I thought about what “happiness” means.
When I searched for it in the dictionary, it means you are content with enough satisfactions and joys in your life or such a state. Since that was so long, I shortened it.
“Happiness” : The state where you lack nothing.

Would you share why you didn’t like Bodies Bodies Bodies?
The film just felt like a lot of nothing to me. Spoilers for it for anyone who is interested in it.
Like people talk about it as if it's this updated version of And Then There Were None that satirises the USAmerican upperclass but it has none of the bite that Christie's work had. Though there are issues with And Then There Were None (spoilers for it I guess), Agatha Christie pretty ruthlessly satirised the British upperclass of the time and part of why it worked so well is that every character is already a murderer of sorts before they come to the island. They are all already bad people whose selfishness lead directly to people dying.
The character in Bodies Bodies Bodies are... not that. Their biggest crimes are being wealthy, being annoying and being Gen Z. The fact that they all turn on each other is meant to represent the way people immediately turn on one another on the internet via cancellation and mob justice and all that, but like, 1) that's a wider internet trend than the people represented by the films' characters and 2) the film is not clever enough for that to work. Because all the characters are knobheads so of course they'd turn on each other, and also, this is a common trope seen in films made before the advent of the internet.
Obviously the film isn't a 1:1 to And Then There Were None but it clearly takes inspiration from it and also it's very easy to compare the two and Bodies Bodies Bodies comes out lacking. I would probably enjoy the film more if it didn't ape And Then There Were None so much because wow this film really defangs Christie's best work.
Bodies Bodies Bodies doesn't effectively satirise anything. It mostly just makes fun of Gen Z because haha they care so much about internet and phone, and idk I think that's a tired trope and a complete misunderstanding of Gen Z.
It also falls into some of the traps that it's meant to be satirising. Like there's the whole thing between Sophie and Bee where they're not really honest with each other and don't know each other that well, and part of that is indicated by Bee being confused and worried when Sophie says she loves her because they've been dating for 6 weeks and all that, but to quote Eileen Jones:
"But love isn't necessarily defined by knowing each other well. That's more of this nonsense people believe now, that the only real love is healthy, wholesome, and balanced, like a high-fiber diet, when real love can be volatile, dangerous, annihilating. There's no reason, initially at least, to think Sophie can't be honestly in love with Bee."
Like I'm supposed to think Sophie is lying to Bee about loving her when like, yeah, you can feasibly be with someone with six weeks and love them. That's not a sign of dishonesty. And like their rocky relationship is fairly important to the plot itself so like, I need to genuinely believe in this dishonesty, which I didn't initially.
The film isn't all bad, like the cinematography is great and the sound design is very effective, considering how repetitive this story can get, the pacing was pretty good. The acting is all very good, especially Amandla Steinberg and Maria Valcheva Bakalova. If Valcheva Bakalova wasn't in this film, I'd probably have turned it off halfway through.
I did also really enjoy the reveal that Greg is a vet as in, a veterinarian and not a military vet. That was pretty funny. I'll give the movie that.
If it had been that clever throughout, I would have enjoyed it a lot more. But it's not. It's trying to do something and is falling flat on its face most of the time.
Especially the ending. Where 1) the ending really shows how much And Then There Were None inspired the film and 2) how much better And Then There Were None is. One ends with the characters killing themselves because there's no way to save themselves after all that's happened, and the other ends with a character gripping a smartphone and yelling "I've got coverage!"
If I didn't dislike the film by then, that final line really made it.
If you similarly didn't like the film the way that I didn't, I'd recommend Eileen Jones' review. It's a very fun read and very cathartic.

Note: I had to copy and paste this ask from Word because when I returned to my inbox to answer it was no longer there. Idk what happened. 🤔
Hi. I'm not sure how to tumblr. I'm basically here because a friend linked me to one of your tvd metas after I started watching the show a few weeks back. I was halfway through the penultimate season when I decided to drop it altogether. Something tells me the writers either hated Stefan & Caroline or at least they didn't want them to be happy. And while I understand stefan's character trait of being consumed by revenge, he's been acting so irrationally this season that after a point even his otherwise weak-willed, bad strategist, impulsive brother was like 'I quit! You deal with your BS!' Fortunately/unfortunately I'm aware of the series finale & I think the writers never wanted Stefan's hero hair to have any character development so that they could justify his death as some sort of sacrifice but in the end it was to service his selfish brother's manpain. I wonder how people watched tvd for 8 years and I'm not saying it didn't have great moments but I also noticed how they rinsed-repeated storylines every season. For e.g Stefan seems to be dumbed down version of who he originally is and kind of reminds me of Tyler whose life pretty much changed for the worse because of Klaus or when he was so stupid that he was practically going to use his own body to put Klaus down in s4 & didn't even bother telling Caroline about it until she found out about it or something. Thankfully, this time Caroline didn't sleep with her boyfriends's mom's murderer though. What an absolute nightmare that would have been. Sorry for the rant but that wasn't the sole point of this message. I noticed you are a X-Files fan! Yay! If you don't mind me asking what's your favourite Mulder-Scully scene? And just out of curiosity, have you watched Normal People? If yes, then what's your opinion? If no, then please do watch. I think you'd love/enjoy the series. It's insane how much the characters, their individual characters arcs & overall journey is similar to that of Stefan and Caroline but with quality writing. Lastly, what does "scienter" mean? Thanks, Chandreyee. P.S: My friend is a Delena shipper & thinks Delena is the best thing to have happened on TVD * rolls eyes * but seemed to have enjoyed your blog back in the day. Hence ,the recommendation.
Hi there, Chandreyee. Welcome to tumblr!
Stefan & The TVD Finale
Oh, I’ve had my share of rants about the TVD finale and how Kevin Williamson spitefully killed Stefan because he wasn’t going to get the Stelena ending he wanted. That’s not a crackpot theory – he said as much in an interview. So yeah. We got the nonsensical finale that reverted Stefan & Damon to their season 1 characterization. That frustrated me given that I spent 8 years watching that show.
And like you one of the things I disliked about TVD was the repetitious storytelling. The formulaic storytelling drove me nuts, especially in the later seasons. I take it as a sign that a story has gone on too long. If a writer can’t imagine new conflicts or plots then it’s time to call it quits.
Favorite Mulder & Scully Scene
Oh, wow. This is hard. Because there are ten or fifteen (or twenty) Mulder and Scully scenes that I could call my favorite.
I love their last scene in Triangle when Mulder tells Scully he loves her.
I love their scene in Detour when Scully sings Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog.
I love their scene in Folie a Deux when Mulder tells Scully that she’s his “one in five billion.”
I love every single scene of theirs in Bad Blood.
And I love, love, love Mulder teaching Scully to play baseball a.k.a. Hips Before Hands in the Unnatural.
And of course, I’d be remiss to leave out Mulder & Scully dancing to Walking in Memphis in The Post Modern Prometheus.
I could go on. I love Mulder & Scully. They are my favorite tv couple. They are my original ship. I don’t know how to distill my love of them to a single scene.
I’ve thought about writing a Top Ten Favorite Mulder & Scully Moments meta over the years, but I’ve have never gotten around to it. Maybe I’ll do it this year. Hmm . . .
Normal People
No, I’ve never seen Normal People. I’ve heard good things about it though.
Scienter
Scienter is a legal term for intent or knowledge of wrongdoing (i.e., the defendant knew that his or her act or statement was illegal, deceptive, or wrong.) It’s random, I knew. I chose it because (1) it was short, (2) I could spell it, and (3) the word’s obscurity meant that it was available.

Idk if I wanna ask more about murder husbands or the massively self indulgent smut so I am asking about both 👀💖✨️
alkjsdjkldsf u are SO valid and honestly what a mood lmao (also hi hello bellamy hope ur well !!!!) for context (x)
murder husbands is a zhongchi fic that follows like. two distinct arcs of zhongli and childe from before and after the events of to love (and be loved in return) (x), basically childe's pov is the meeting/getting together arc while zhongli's is the aftermath of the fic (and tracking down the actual culprit of diluc's poisoning, which...as it turns out, wasn't actually as cut and dry as he made it out to be to diluc)
it's basically intended to be the darker side of to love (and be loved in return), which was such a wholesome and sweet piece lmao. not that i didn't love writing that, but i wanted to explore a darker aspect of that au that was alluded to but not really explored much in the original fic lmao
and, a snippet:
“Do tell me, Ajax.” Childe goes still, or he would, if he wasn’t already paralyzed. Nobody should know that name, it shouldn’t be in that godsforsaken dossier or anywhere else. “Why shouldn’t I kill you?” Gold eyes hold his, an almost...bored look. “I’m close friends with the-” “The Liyue Qixing, I’m aware,” the man says easily, and Childe wonders if he’s chosen the wrong time to show his hand. The man seems entirely unfazed by the fact that Childe has regained some mobility, in spite of what he must know from that folder of his. “Tell me, since you’ve decided to speak. How much did you have to bribe the Kaiyang to get him to say that?” A quirked brow, elegant in its condescension, and Chidle grits his teeth. “Or did you just sleep with him instead?” A pause, and Childe is almost certain that those gold eyes drift down his body before flicking back up, meeting his again. “Your reputation precedes you, Ajax.” “Don’t call me that,” he hisses, more terrified by the fact that his name in the man’s voice has him ready to fall to his knees.
-
massively self indulgent smut is a zhongli x kaeya childe diluc and aether au lmaoooo it's really sort of a royalty au? kaeya searching for a suitor (while also dealing with his father's declining health) that dives headfirst into aphrodisiac-induced egg smut lmao. there's a lot of actual plot and backstory and stuff that i dig into as well? but that is like. the primary purpose of the fic lmaoooo in spite of the fact that i have so much lore for this au sklfdjkldsfjkl
it's quite heavy on the kaeluc, since this is from kaeya's pov, but also touches with more emphasis on zhongchi and chiluc (and i think it'll have some xiaother as well?) outside of the whole like. orgy situation. lmao.
a snippet:
Kaeya does his best not to flinch as he bursts through the door, finds suitors uncountable filling the room on the other side. It isn't so much that he minds the attention, more that this will undoubtedly require some...careful handling. And he does not have time for careful. "Sincerest apologies, all," he starts, halfway rushed in spite of his need for decorum. Brows furrow around the room and mumbling starts up, and he exhales a short breath, does his best to calm his racing heart. "My father's illness has flared up again." This quiets the room rather soundly, and wide eyes fix on him now. He's granted only a moment to appreciate the distinct lack of grumbling about what they must've already deduced to be his untimely departure before a hand brushes his elbow. "We should go," Aether adds as he steps closer to Kaeya’s side, and Kaeya nods sharply. Without a word, those gathered step aside, clearing him an easy path to the door at the other end of the room. He allows himself only a single moment to inhale, to force his composure. His father will be fine. This will not be the day that he- well, precisely. He'll be fine. Kaeya takes a stride forward, appreciates the comforting presence of Aether just a step behind. He truly could not ask for a better advisor or attendant - or, for that matter, a friend. It is as a ghost of a smile touches his lips that another ghost steps into his view, and it startles him so thoroughly that he stumbles to a rather undignified stop in the middle of his cleared pathway. But how could he do anything except stand and stare as Diluc steps out in front of him?
send me a wip name from this list (x) and i'll tell u about it!

yo should i watch star trek? i've been thinking about watching it but there are so many shows and movies and it's verrry overwhelming.
star trek and ncis have both been in my list of shows to watch for a long time, but i never got around to actually watching them. watching u post about them makes me wanna binge watch them but it's SO overwhelming and idk where to start
Okay, first off, you should ABSOLUTELY watch Star Trek. It's GLORIOUS and absolutely bonkers and thoughtful at the same time. You should also definitely watch NCIS because for a show about murder, it is surprisingly comforting 😂
This post got VERY VERY long because I learned I have a LOT of thoughts about how to watch large amounts of television. Uh, sorry 😂I split it up into NCIS and Star Trek, and then....the Star Trek section is still really long. I hope it's not too much rambling, and that it is possibly helpful?? I feel really honored you asked me about this <3
NCIS
NCIS is pretty simple to binge - I just finished watching it for the first time. Pretty much, I'd run straight through NCIS (the original, not NCIS:LA or NCIS:NO) from season 1-13. A few caveats: I enjoyed s1-s2, but I have some friends who were bothered by a few episodes that were transphobic. I mean it's kind of expected, since the show started in 2003 and some of the characters weren't written as the most accepting people, at least at the start But that doesn't make it easier to watch. If you think that will bother you, I'd be happy to give you a list of episodes to watch/skip. :)
From season 3 onward, I'd really just watch in order (you can skip some of the more gruesome ones *glares at two specific season 3 episodes*). I wandered off sometime around season 13/14 but you can conceivably continue on to season 18 which just finished like a week ago, I think?
Oh, and then you can try the spin-offs. Neither have really been able to hold my attention but you might have better luck!
Star Trek
Okay this one is a lot less simple. Yes, there is SO much Star Trek and asking yourself to binge all of it is very very confusing because....this timeline is a good explanation.
Yeah.
Sir, what?
So! There's no right way to binge Trek. I'd definitely start with a TV show. Yes, there are a lot of Star Trek movies and some of them are fabulous, but Star Trek was born on TV and the TV shows are still the bread and butter of the franchise.
There are maybe five good entry points for Star Trek. If you don't like the first one you try, try a different one, since they are similar but every entry in the franchise has a very different feel.
I'd say there are maybe five good entry points for Star Trek:
Star Trek: The Original Series (1966-1969) The classic, very first Star Trek. Kirk, Spock, McCoy. Absolutely ICONIC. Has a few fabulous, classic high-concept sci-fi episodes and a few absolutely HILARIOUS episodes. If you choose this one, be prepared for a show that's VERY 60s in color and style, thinly-veiled Vietnam War allegories, and a lot of William Shatner.
Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994) My personal favorite. Episodic, absolutely brilliant acting, and the RANGE! Literally has a cross-dressing Wild West romp one week and a deep, "machines develop a sense of self-preservation" plot the next. Some of the very best television ever made. The only problem with TNG is it starts reallllly slow. Most people don't really enjoy season 1, and it really doesn't get good until halfway thru season 2. So I'd recommend watching the pilot, then maybe skipping through a few s1 episodes as they strike your fancy. There are a few good ones but also many duds. The nice thing is it's entirely episodic so you can skip without worrying about losing the main thread of the story. After the pilot, I think the only season 1 episode that's crucial for plotty reasons is Skin of Evil (1x23)? Then starting with A Measure of a Man (2x09) I'd watch straight through. The rest of the series is EXCELLENT and quality is, on average, fairly high. (Okay, you can skip the last episode of s2 since it's a clip show. A writer's strike happened. XD) If you choose this route, be prepared for the slow start. And the VERY 80s sci-fi costumes. :)
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993-1999) I'm not a huge DS9 fan, but I really, really enjoy their comedic episodes. If season-long arcs and a more gritty, politick-y feel strikes your fancy, this is the show for you. Again, this one has brilliant acting (most Trek does tbh) and a LOT of range. DS9 is set during wartime, so it's definitely got a different feel. I like it but don't love it, but this show has changed the lives of a lot of people, I think, so it's definitely a good option. I think DS9 starts better than TNG, and this is definitely one you want to watch in order. Seasons 1-3 are a little more episodic and then the series-long war arc begins in earnest.
Star Trek: Voyager (1995-2001) I have an outsized love for Voyager entirely because of fandom. (J/C fandom has a very large overlap with Sam/Jack fandom!) The premise of Voyager is that it's a ragtag crew (half military officers, half rebel terrorists) trying to get home after being flung 70,000 light years from Earth (which will take roughly 70 years for them to traverse). This is the only show with a female captain and it is TERRIFIC. I'm just saying, if you watch this one, be prepared to ship the captain and the first officer. Because...you will. :) Overall quality of Voyager is, IMHO, not quite as high as TNG. It's again more episodic with some occasional multi-episode plot threads. But the two shows have equally strong captains, and Voyager is definitely a more scrappy ship than TNG's Enterprise. The characters change a LOT over seven seasons, so definitely watch Voyager in order. I think this show actually has one of the better pilot episodes of Star Trek, in a franchise full of notoriously poor pilot episodes.
Star Trek: Discovery (2017-) If you want a "modern" show - y'know, fancy effects and such - I'd roll with Discovery. But it's definitely a controversial entry in the franchise, and one of the less consistent ones, IMHO. But I really like the pilot, and also enjoyed season 2, so you could definitely start here if you're looking for something that's more recent and less, y'know, of whatever era it was made.
For people who love SG-1, I'd probably start with TNG or Voyager? I'm not sure. Discovery is a lot flashier but I think you'll probably enjoy the other four more, if you like SG-1. Totally a matter of personal taste, though.
I hope you got to the end of this, and honestly, if you want to get into either of these shows and are still confused, just message me? I will happily give advice :)
TL;DR
Just binge NCIS from episode 1 onward. If you are very sensitive to transphobia, message me and I'll tell you which season 1 eps to skip.
For Trek: If you love SG-1, I'd start with The Next Generation or Voyager. But honestly, you could start with The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, or Discovery, depending on what you like in your TV.

YOU HAVE A TWINSDUO SUPERNATURAL AU TOO OH MY GOD tell me about it immediately
i do!! :D mine very loosely follows the events of the show (loosely bc years ago i watched up til like halfway through the fifth season and then absorbed the rest through osmosis) but uhh let me see what i have so far!
(under a cut bc it got pretty long)
okay so techno is the older brother and wilbur is the younger one! wilbur ditched hunting to go to college but then his girlfriend sally died, etc. etc, we all know bits abt the show we know how it goes :’
their dad is a random oc idk because i have a different role for phil and i’m not gonna write him as that shitty of a parent anyway so :’’
anyway the whole psychic kids plotline happens, wilbur has low self-esteem and makes techno promise to kill him if he ever “goes darkside”, et cetera, and then he ends up being murdered and techno makes a demon deal to bring him back that gives them a year before techno gets dragged to hell
obviously when wilbur finds out he is Not Happy but he doesn’t manage to stop it in time, and when techno goes to hell wilbur starts using his powers more with the encouragement of a demon named tommy (unlike in the source material, this is not at all a sexual thing bc Yikes!!- it’s more of an ‘oooh you miss your brother so much you wanna project that onto the first person who treats you like a sibling’ thing :’’)
so after abt a year techno is pulled out of hell by a philza, the castiel of this au :’ the two of them do start to bond and become genuine friends, but part of phil’s orders from heaven are to drive a wedge between twinsduo to kickstart the apocalypse so :/ like he eventually rebels but still
so seals are being broken and stuff, and phil & tommy are following their respective sides’ orders to drive twinsduo apart except both of them are starting to form genuine attachments to the brothers and feel bad abt what they’re doing, especially as they start to bond with the other one (phil & wilbur, tommy & techno)
eventually tommy decides that he cares abt wilbur (who he’s genuinely started to see as a brother) and comes clean abt the whole thing, explaining the whole plot. techno calls phil to confirm it, and he has the choice to say tommy’s lying but he also cares abt this shitty little group and so he tells the truth also
so they plan to stop the apocalypse armed with accurate knowledge this time, but unfortunately it’s kinda too late and lucifer escapes into the world or whatever fuckin happened in the show idk
anyway sometime around now they find out that surprise, they have a half-brother! his name is tubbo and he’s rlly just. kinda there for a bit but once phil explains the vessels and shit, meaning tubbo could technically be used as a backup vessel, they figure that bringing him somewhere safe would be best so the angels don’t get him
anyway this is fine for a while! tubbo is reluctant to trust them but he and tommy get along scarily well so eventually tubbo starts to warm up to the others
so they’re going after the horsemen to steal their rings or whatever,, it’s pog and cool until wilbur gets possessed by lucifer and throws himself (and tubbo, currently possessed by michael) into the cage
in the cage, wilbur feels guilty abt tubbo being there bc he didn’t ask for any of this (to be fair neither did wilbur but. mental illness b like that) and so he takes the brunt of the damage from the Very powerful Very pissed off archangels to protect tubbo
anyway phil pulls him out but he can’t get two people at once, and part of wilbur absolutely refuses to abandon tubbo so his soul stays down in the cage, hooray..? and then a soulless version of him is running around with techno (who is Suspicious). anyway this is how i’m incorporating ghostbur!! by saying that his soul is how he feels pain/turmoil and so without it he is just. way too casual & happy for someone in his situation
eventually they find out that his soul got left behind, and techno asks death (mumza my beloved :D) to retrieve it. she does try, but wilbur once again refuses to leave tubbo, so she just [shrug emoji] and yoinks them both. iconic. phil could never
now tubbo is back and wilbur is back to normal, hooray! except all those traumatic memories are majorly fucking with him, and so mumza creates a wall in his head to block the memories of the cage (this doesn’t apply to tubbo bc wilbur shielded him from most of it, so he’s not having a great time but he can handle the trauma with help whereas wilbur is Not functional)
anyway some shit happens idk i’ve long since migrated to the wikipedia season synopses and phil is working with some demon guy (who. cmon. its gotta be schlatt.) and ends up breaking the wall in wilbur’s head to incapacitate him or something??? also he’s god now apparently how the fuck is this a real show seriously how it’s not a decade-and-a-half fever dream???
oh yeah also bobby is a character! he’s like an uncle or smth i think and i was thinking who could fit that role for twinsduoand then my brain just
grian
also wilbur has apparently been hallucinating this whole time? not events or anything, just like. in general. that’s barely a footnote in the summary but it’s sure a Thing so
uhhh techno and phil Don’t in fact go to purgatory!! the rest of this is batshit insane i’m claiming canon divergence!!
phil uses his God Juice(TM) to smite the leviathins or whatever and then they all go back home and actually talk about their differences jesus christ i watched less than half this show and i remember like half of what i watched but i definitely remember the lack of communication skjgblf
oh but the trials are Spicey and i love them so they still happen! fundy is the prophet and he translates some shit or whatever. wilbur does the first two but then techno finds out finishing all three will be fatal and goes to stop him
we have some big Low Self-Esteem Momence and wilbur finally opens up bc of course it takes mortal danger to get this dumass to be honest about his feelings. anyway techno convinces him to stop and they go home
phil doesn’t get tricked into booting the angels out of heaven or whatever, death shows up to be like ‘hey ur being major lied to my dude’ and also they hit it off and become friends
the trials leave wilbur in Very Bad Shape (like. getting uncomfortably close to dying) but phil is still kinda god so??? he just magics him to get better, no one gets possessed, and NOTHING BAD HAPPENS TO FUNDY :’
jesus this is long skjgb okay we’re almost done i promise :’ so they meet a nephilim who was just born but grew into a teenager like,,, right away lol. that’s right we have ranboo in this au now :D the group immediately adopt him as a little brother and teach him how to be human and nothing bad happens ever again
so at the end phil is god and lowkey crushing on death, techno and wilbur are done with angel nonsense bc phil keeps heaven in line and they go back to doing ordinary ghost hunts, tubbo stays behind to do research but in a mocking way and hangs out with tommy and ranboo who are both learning about humanity and friendship, and the whole group lives in grian’s house while he pretends to be grumpy about it even though he cares them :D
#fuck this is so long#this au my beloved tho#and everything turned out okay!! jkdb#no unhappy endings#thanks for the ask :}#asks#supernatural au#soot 🧭#mutuals

The Smile Has Left Your Eyes (2018)
Where to watch it: VIKI (free with Ads)
Episodes: 16
Summary: How do I summarize this without spoiling it? Basically, the main lead can't feel things or something and he starts hooking up with the rich girl who happens to be best friends with the female lead. (Wild). The female lead has an older brother who is kind of a cop and is kind of investigating a murder case. As the main leads start getting closer, the brother starts to suspect that the first male lead is involved with the murder case. Then about a little more than halfway through the drama, this plotline is thrown into a volcano with all good characters, and the last few episodes involve the same flashback being shown again and again and again and again until finally, it ends.
Rating: 6/10
Best Part: Let's do the Worst Part first. Spoilers.
Worst Part: okay so basically after the original plot burst into flames, they catch the murder and the best friend ends up dying. She dies in a car crash that was caused by her ex-boyfriend while the main lead guy is in the seat next to her. He's involved in the car accident but then goes missing for a couple of days while he gets taken to like a secret hospital and when he leaves the hospital the brother confronts him and the main guy is like 'I would do it all again even though I know that the best friend would die' (Because the main male technically causes the accident to happen by trying to win over the ex-boyfriend. You would think this would be important enough for me to explain it more, but it really doesn't matter whether you know or not because, again, it's thrown into a volcano and forgotten) and so the brother goes to the main female lead and is like 'this guy [the main male lead] is insane, stay away from him and so, of course, the main girl lead confronts the main male lead too and while confronting him she reveals that while her best friend was in the hospital, literally on her death bed, she was worried about him (cause, you know, he was taken to the secret hospital and was 'missing'). So that was the moment I was like 'whatnow' and it only got worse from there. After the main female lead confessed her feelings to the guy responsible for the death of her only friend, she breaks up with the second romance male lead (honestly this guy deserves so much better) and then goes back to the main male lead and like wants to date him now and he's like idk but he also likes her and she's like 'i can fix you' and that's when I paused it and started to laugh. This was made in 2018. I thought we were past romanticizing this abusive shit. ANyways. So then they start dating but 'shhh' it's a secret from the older brother. Until it's not and the older brother (who I thought was pretty chill up to this point) finds out and stabs the main male, but the main male doesn't report him and instead goes to this doctor that he knows and then that's when the drama starts to focus on the same flashback for like six episodes and it starts to hint that maybe the main male and female are actually long lost siblings (which of course is connected to that one flashback) and Ummm... I already didn't like this couple. It was already cringe that it was wayyyy too easy for the main girl to just forget her friend. I also didn't think the leads had good chemistry (though the kisses are nice, I must admit). Not to mention the two leads both don't have friends which harm them as characters in my opinion because we only get to see them when they are together or when they are talking to the brother. Doing this is kind of like sucking the life out of the drama. We're not really 'a part' of their lives at this point- like we aren't pulled into their world, we're just watching them. ANyways we don't find out until the very end if they are or aren't siblings, but by that point, it doesn't matter, I'm too grossed out already. And the ending, in my opinion, was unnecessary. It does nothing. So. Those are the worst parts. No friends. Might be siblings. Bad brother. Shit relationships. Bad ending. The last half of the drama is the worst part.
In the comments on VIKI (which if you do end up watching this drama, I highly recommend you put them on) a lot of people were saying that this was their favorite drama. Which, each to their own I guess, but personally, I can say with the most confidence that this is not my favorite drama.
Best Part: I finished it so obviously it isn't too bad. Not too long ago I watched the drama Save Me (2017) and I liked it and Woo Do-hwan so much that I decided to watch another drama where Woo Do-hwan starred in, Tempted (2017), and I hated it. I couldn't finish it and I didn't make it very far either, so I didn't make a review on it since I didn't think it was fair reviewing something I couldn't finish. Watching it felt a lot like watching reality tv for me, where my brain just becomes this mess and feels a lot like it's rotting or something. Idk, I just couldn't do it. (Though, I think it should also be mention that I do not like Cruel Intentions (which is another remake made in America based on the same story that Tempted was based on. So it could be that I just didn't like the story at all.). Anyways, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes (2018) has the edginess that I feel Tempted was trying to capture but failed to do so. So kudos to them for that.
Do I Recommend it: no. Now if you like Tempted (2017) I think you'll like this. So watch it if that's the case. However, I do not think this drama has anything good to say or even has anything to say at all. It has no point and tbh I don't even consider it a thriller. I don't recommend it.

What type of au's will your moots fit in? And which nct member/s will be in that au??
okAY this took a very long time for me to plot out [this has been rotting away for DAYS and im sorry to the anon who sent it 😭]. but hey i hope you like this anon!! even tho it took a LONG time. it's only been three(?) days but still...
@yourjaylaks
let us start with my very smol friend, jen. she's very artistic and most of all really geeky. im a geek as well so seeing someone that can relate to the shit i deal with is really fucking relieving. the umbrella academy au hehe she was the first person i told about my plan of writing something like that and she wasted no time in hyping me up. hmm i'll pair her up with number 5!renjun KSKSKSKS he'd like teasing you a lot and the way you get frustrated whenever he randomly teleports himself around you omg- i'll set this au maybe before he travels forward. he'd teleport himself outside of the academy every night and meets up with you at the local park. *angst coming thru* he had a crush on you, and when he went forward you were all he thought about. he even named his mannequin wife after you 😭 it devasted him to know you died before he could even find his way back.
@jenoir
next up, the loml, my one and only, engel. she's very sweet and i'd honestly give the WORLD to her. i wanna shower her with kithes everyday and give her the love she deserves (camille stop). anyways for au,,,,, an fbi agent au!!!!! we talk about the fbi looking through our phones a lot so 👀 for pairing hmm i think agent!jaemin will do the trick. engel deserves a LOT of love that i think only jaemin can give hehe also can u imagine working with jaemin and it's just him persistently flirting. whEW. this would be a slowburn type of fic with you not wanting to be easily swayed by his words. the two of you would laugh about the messages (ex. cringy flirting) of the people/phone numbers assigned to you and just have a blast ya know. this would be very cracky i can tell.
@butterbeeryuta
niKIIIIIIIIII, my crACK queen!! first off, she's very outspoken and i LOVE that about her. also very very supportive and shit and uwu i wanna hug her :< for her im thinking of a very cracky office au. like the chaos she exudes is enough to make any scenario cracky and im all here for it. she'd go very well with boss!heachan. she'd be the one looking disappointedly at the camera, seconds after haechan says/does something stupid and vice versa. also the banter---just imagine. hOnestly id PAY to see that. someone hand me the popcorn.
@flirtyhyuck
kathy. my babie. my very lovely friend. he's the type of person you go to to have a good time becaUSE EVERY TIME I TALK TO HIM IS A GOOD TIME. i love u bub,, you never fail to amaze me. an au suited for him would be a kind of highschool/college roadtrip au??? he strikes me as someone very smart and outgoing (if im wrong im sorry sksks) and idk why but in this au im pairing u up with best friend!jungwoo sinces he's fucking cute and loveable and so are you 😡 i see this au going as a sort of friends to lovers au(??) where you go on this road trip with your best friend in order to scratch it off your bucket list before y'all separate before graduation only to fall in love with each other halfway hehe.
@jungstruly
next is yAng, my vrO. hmmm she's interesting. i kid you not yang is a very interesting person. we haven't messaged each other a lot and i can't look back on our previous convos in my old blog ksksksk hmmmm i can def see a photographer au with her liKe haVE YOU SEEN HER PICTURES???? omg i'd make her take pics of me everYDAY. okok im gonna be cliche here and pair you up with model/frat boy!lucas hehe i was thinking of hendery but then thought fuCk it let's give her lucas. the story would go as you being the vv timid and smol photography major asking this enormous and loud attractive human to model for her final assignment in college. uGh what a sight. i STAN this ship. the only otp that matters 😔✊
@soulmatefics
next is my cool bby gabs. i miss u bb :( gabs is a sweetheart, honestly how can you NOT love her????????????? she's very nice hehe. anyways au. *clasps hands together* i think a very suitable one for her might be a gamer au? i can distinctly remember her telling me about playing games a lot whenever i ask her how her day went. i pretty much pair u with gamer!jeno hehe i feel like he'd also be into the cute games you play and would play it with u often just to see u smile. also my girl is trying to be healthy and fit,,, believe me jeno would be the PERFECT person to help u with that.
@moonlightjeno
okAy luna-- one of my first friends here <3 luna is very good with words (haVE U SEEN HER FICS??) and is just a very amazing person in general. i can see her be part of an author au, luna being this bigshot best selling writer with best friend/author/proofreader!mark. our friendship was founded through proofreading so i thought why not? mark has great eye on things except fashion and would easily spot any mistake which helped you a lot with your novels. he's very very supportive so whenever u feel down or unmotivated he'll try to help in any way and not make you feel bad for taking a break. i can see him dedicating his first book for you and honestly that's fucking cute.
@luvhrjun
lastly, anie uwu. i just stalked one of your tags and i can def imagine u in an 80s au and add in a wild crime au just for the heck of it! anie is sooOo nice, we never talked much in my old blog and most of the asks i send you are just me telling you to sleep 😭 in this fic im pairing u up with store clerk!hendery. here we tell the story of your nightly visits to the store which piques the curiosity of the night shift employee. it was on one night, you visit the store as usual, when the two of you accidentally witness a murder being done by a very powerful mafia figure. soon you were thrusted in this dangerous world. the police can't help you two now and hendery is dead set on protecting you as he drives miles away to mexico where, hopefully, they can't find you. whEw this became intense sorry skskksks
okay this was really fun hehe send more pls!

so @modsnow asked me for info about every single one of my ocs. and i’m not a fucking coward so here i fucking go. this list will be in alphabetical order mostly i think
WARNING: Spoilers for several of my stories. Like it’s not even that far in that you’ll be getting spoilers, the first character on this list will contain spoilers
Abby Ashblossom (The Deathspeaker) - Main character from The Deathspeaker. Main role in the story is along the lines of antihero and is a source of conflict for the other main characters since she refuses to work with them and has attacked them several times for various reasons. She is trying... her best
Adrian Torchbane (The Deathspeaker) - Fire magic teacher for The Deathspeaker school. Does not have very big story influence! She is still fun to write tho
Amelia Hakan (Lilith) - Becomes a pretty important character about halfway through the story. She’s the princess! Chronically ill and can’t do much on her own, but is badass in her own ways anyways. Has a special interest in history
Andy (DND) - Ok actually I can’t talk about this one
Anthony (DND) - One of the Main NPCs for the Underworld campaign. He is baby. I love him. Kind of has a “big destiny” kind of thing going on but he’s also 8 and doesn’t know what’s going on. He is made of love and joy he’s baby
Apocalypse (DND) - Main antagonist for the Underworld campaign. Bastard incapable of caring about shit. Likes to fuck things up for the fun of it. Very stupid.
April Rosesong (The Deathspeaker) - Water magic teacher for The Deathspeaker school. Doesn’t have a big influence on the story but she does have a big influence on my heart and that’s what matters
Ash (TAOC) - Main character of The Ashes of Creativity and my first OC. Has fire powers. Homeless and needs a hug real bad
Avari (Alternate Memories) - One of Jadyn’s friends from the Realm of Pretend. I’m still working on developing her but she’s supposed to be important, I’m just figuring that out
Bekett Smith (The Deathspeaker) - Minor character and Dara’s ex-boyfriend. Served an important role in the plot during 1950 but he’s dead now so he’s not really as important anymore. I respect him because he’s the only person who ever told Dara to shut the fuck up
Ben (SoPP) - One of Izzy’s human friends! He is the mom friend of the group.
Billie (Alternate Memories) - Jadyn’s best friend and one of the main characters. Ze has to deal with Ringmaster’s bullshit almost as much as Jadyn does, even if ze isn’t aware of it. One of my only characters to use neopronouns and honestly I’m still trying to get used to it,,,,
Blaine (The Deathspeaker) - Bastard man. Not worth the time
Briar (DND) - Main NPC for the third arc of the Stars campaign. They are having a constant mental breakdown and meeting all these new feral people when they’re a rich formal person is their own personal hell
Cade (Lilith) - One of the 7 characters from the rebel group! He is the dad guy. He’s also an assassin/spy. He makes it work babey
Carl (????????) - Idk they haunted me at one point so I gave them a name and made them an OC so I’d have more control over them
Caspian (DND) - One of the main characters from the Vena/Art campaign. Was sort of a minor antagonist who got. Way more wrapped up in all this than he really deserved to. He still sucked tho! He still sucked. He’s dead now
Castor (The Deathspeaker) - The 2nd of the gods! They’re very shy.
Chaos (DND) - Whoops can’t talk about this one either
Charity (DND PC) - My character for Crow’s campaignm Breathe! She’s a bastard! A literal murderer! She’s a warlock but I don’t know how to play warlocks so she’s kinda just vvvvibing. Has a super carefree attitude and does not care if she gets into trouble.
Clara (DND) - Mr Detective Connor’s daughter. She was missing for a while but she’s back now! She is 13 and ready to fuck people up.
Clarence Duskheart (The Deathspeaker) - Space magic teacher for the school. He’s everybody’s favorite gay grandpa. Doesn’t have much story significance but I love him
Cody Jadebreath (The Deathspeaker) - Main character. The oldest of the kids but the most baby looking out of all of them. He can’t help the fact that he’s short and has a baby face.
Corona (DND) - I made her before the pandemic happened ok fuck off. Queen of the Underworld. Dickhead.
Creature (Other/Unused) - From the closed species, Patchies. They try really hard to be creepy but they got befriended by a little little Patchie, and there’s nothing they can do about it.
Crystal (DND) - Main NPC for the Terror campaign. ...I’m still working on her. But she’s a lot of fun. Recites memes nobody else would ever know.
Daedalus (Lilith) - Main character and member of the rebel gang. He’s an asshole. I love him SO much. Looks like some anime trash collector. I don’t mean he collects anime, I mean he collects literal trash while looking like anime. He’s a science-y boy and made a robot with AI that advanced to the point she does whatever she wants and has a huge attitude.
Dara Starforge (The Deathspeaker) - Y’all know her. Y’all hate her. Headmaster of the school. I don’t know what to say here that I haven’t said a million times already.
Darby (The Deathspeaker) - Minor character that shows up in chapter 12. Went to jail for unknown crimes and then got married to a bug man who is also in jail. They’re so fucking funny to write, I love them
Dark Matter (DND) - :T look I can’t talk about a lot of DND characters, people read this blog and I’m assuming there’s a Chance they may read this
Death (The Deathspeaker) - Minor character and the 9th of the gods. He’s chillin
Decebal (DND) - Main character in both the Vena/Art campaign and the Stars campaign. They went from vaguely concerned art pal to depressed “lmao” art pal. Tired.
[Mr] Detective Connor (DND) - I realize now that this entry is out of order because of the Detective part and that’s just even more funny to me than it already was. His first name might as well be Detective at this point. Main characters in both the Vena/Art campaign and the Stars campaign. He’s dad.
Devil’s Advocate (Other/Unused) - I got this dude like a few days ago I don’t know what I’m doing yet please hold
Dolly (SoPP) - Little 6 year old girl I think I’m gonna have Poppy and Izzy adopt.
Eloise (Other/Unused/DND PC) - Fan character for my datemate’s story, Twins, that eventually turned into a DND PC. I love her! She’s a herbo! Absolute idiot, but very strong and just wants everyone to be nice.
Elowen (The Deathspeaker) - The oldest of the gods. She SUCKKKKS. That’s all you really need to know.
Ember (The Deathspeaker) - The 6th of the gods. Lesbian jock who knows no boundaries and will find a way to cross all of them.
Emmet (TAOC/???) - He was just a character from Lunch Bag’s backstory but I kind of gave him his own story recently and now I love him a lot. Baby-turned-supervillain and he’s really fucking good at it
Eteri (DND) - Main NPC for the Stars campaign. Doesn’t really understand how humans work and it shows. She’s a little misguided! But she’s starting to figure that out thanks to the help of a very grumpy and small cowboy
Evren Skywalker (The Deathspeaker) - Background character I got attached to and gave a funny name
Felix (TAOC) - Main character and used to be one of my all time favorite characters. I still think he’s pretty neat but I don’t think he’s really my favorite anymore. Still! He’s funky! Helps Ash escape from Mr Creativity and joins the group despite how scared he is of doing so. And despite the fact that he had to leave his best friend behind for this.
Frosty (Name-In-Progress) - Main character of a fantasy story I’m still trying to figure out. The rest of the story is all serious and like your typical edgy fantasy, except for every single scene Frosty is in because she doesn’t care. The world tries to tell her she has some big destiny to fulfill and evil to stop and she does a backflip off of destiny and kicks a child
George (DND) - Main NPC for Arc 1 of the Stars campaign! He is a cowboy and he gives good hugs c:
Harbringer (DND) - Main Antagonist for the Stars campaign. Rude! But fun to draw
Harley Whitestorm (The Deathspeaker) - Light magic teacher for the school. Has enough significance to the story that I had to find a way to keep them out of an entire chapter because they WOULD make it easier to handle than I needed it to be. Still a very minor character.
Him (DND) - Main NPC for the Underworld campaign. Welcome people into the Underworld with confetti. Should probably kill his boss but he’s in love with her.
Ice Cream (Lilith) - Kitty! He’s Owen’s cat. He is full of infinite knowledge and wisdom and Owen treats him like a regular cat. Ice Cream cannot deny he loves this
Ife (Lilith) - Main character and member of the rebel group. She helps Natasha get settled in and is the reason Natasha stays when she doubts why she’s there. Until Ife gets kidnapped presumably killed that is.
Izzy (SoPP) - Main character! They’re a monsterfucker. That’s like. The whole plot of the story right there.
Jadyn (Alternate Memories) - Main character, link between reality and the Realm of Pretend. They’d just rather not deal with it. They’re a horrible protagonist.
Jae (DND PC) - My character for Peri’s time fuckery campaign! *Gently holds them and sobs* I Love them a Lot. They’re such a bastard. Is trying and failing to learn how to be a functional person again cause they adopted a kid on an impulse and now they gotta deal with it.
Jasmine Mistshine (The Deathspeaker) - Background character I once again got attached to. But this one I’m attached to because she’s actually my second OC ever. I didn’t know what to do with her so she lives on as a magical version of herself in this comic
Joe Smith (The Deathspeaker) - *lays on the floor and cries softly*
Jules Goldstalker (The Deathspeaker) - Main character, elf prince, and a drama queen. They’re lovely! I love them! They have no patience for their adopted mom’s bullshit and they WILL let her know in the form of threats
Kali (The Deathspeaker) - Idk I kinda wanna keep her stuff secret for now. She’s probably never even gonna show up in either of the stories but. Ye
Kara (Lilith) - The robot Daedalus made. She decided she wanted to be a girl and a lesbian and also rude. So she is!
Karson (Lilith) - Minor antagonist, honestly I don’t know what to say about him.
Kat (DND) - Main NPC for Arc 2 of the Stars campaign. Half human half alien. Way more dramatic than she probably needs to be. Can ssssort of shapeshift???? It’s hard to explain so I won’t
Katrina (TAOC) - She was supposed to arrest these two rogue supers but those two rogue supers ended up being 11 and 14 years old so she’s a mom now
Kaylee (The Deathspeaker) - Lindsey’s future girlfriend/wife
Kendall (Other/Unused) - Another fan character for my datemate’s story! They don’t have as much of a story yet but I think their design is really neat
Kiara Starsmith (The Deathspeaker) - Joe and Dara’s future kid, she’s baby, I love her so much
Kit Meadowwalker (The Deathspeaker) - Minor character that has shown up in the background before but doesn’t get officially introduced until chapter 13. They’re one of Cody’s friends! They actually help out during the final battle. They love bugs.
Levonian Hakan (Lilith) - The emperor the rebel group is trying to take out. Only actually shows up for like 1 chapter. Not even a full chapter. He does suck tho and he deserves what’s coming to him.
Liam Firethief (The Deathspeaker) - Main character and the unofficial leader of the kids by default because nobody else had any plans. He is very soft he just doesn’t act like it
Lilith/Natasha (Lilith) - The Main Main character of this story! Got transported to a new world in the middle of a solar eclipse and only questioned it for about 2 seconds before deciding to be a superhero about it.
Lily Rosesong (The Deathspeaker) - Minor character with some major influence on the plot. She’s Joe’s best friend and has been since they were 4! Another person who tells Dara to shut the fuck up!
Lindsey Iceweaver (The Deathspeaker) - Main character, has a very important role for the plot. She’s the first to figure out how the gems work and is sort of unofficially tasked with helping the others figure it out.
LLoyd (Other/Unused) - Another fan character for my datemate’s story. He and Eloise are friends and they could be,,,, :sparkes: more :sparkles: but due to Reasons, it’s never going to happen.
Lonan (The Deathspeaker) - The 3rd of the gods and an antagonist for both the comic and the side story. He is literally the source of most of the main conflicts.
Lori (TAOC) - Minor character, Mr Creativity’s head scientist. She only supports Mr Creativity because he funds her research. Other than that she doesn’t care in the slightest.
Lotus (Choose Your Own Adventure) - Main character in Reese’s routes! She’s their buddy pal friend! She’s also a robot
Lucianus (DND) - NPC for the Underworld campaign. One of the two orcs that ended up with the main group. He is learning how to be a rude boye and he is practicing by telling Parisa to just fucking chill
Luna (Lilith) - Minor character. She’s one of the Weavers, but she went through some shit. She lost one of her friends, Dream, and fused with her other friend, Sadness, to make sure she’d never lose anyone else. Sadness is a bird so she’s got wings and a sick aesthetic now.
Lunch Bag (TAOC) - Superhero who does their superhero job by being an inconvenience
Lyssa (CYOA) - Lotus’s sister and a very rude girl. She made her vest using stolen arcade carpet she ripped directly out of the floor. Robot. Commits so many crimes. Antagonist for both Reese and Silver
Maia (DND) - Anthony and Terra’s cool mom! She takes no shit from anybody. She is also very soft and huggable.
Marisol (The Deathspeaker) - The 8th of the gods! She’s baby!!!
May (DND) - NPC from the Vena/Art campaign and the Star campaign. She was supposed to be killed off like really early into the campaign but they saved her so I had to improvise literally the rest of her life.
Miriam (TAOC) - Felix’s best friend. She knows her life working for Mr Creativity sucks, but that didn’t matter to her because she was alive and she and Felix were together. And then Felix left. Leaving her to deal with Mr Creativity’s wrath on her own. What a betrayal!
Mist (DND) - Oop
Moon (DND) - The celestial from Arc 1! They’ve been asleep for a very long time but found a way to be George’s caretaker after his parents’ deaths anyways
Mr Creativity (TAOC) - Main antagonist! Craves power. Tries to be cool and yeah his aesthetic is sick but come on
Naomi (TAOC) - I’m kinda still working out plot relevance n stuff but she works for Mr Creativity.
Narrator (CYOA) - They narrate everything for the reader, usually while adding their own sarcastic remarks. Insults everyone who speaks.
Naruto (DND PC) - My character for Peri’s Marindale campaign, he is trans and named himself Naruto because he thinks Naruto is cool as fuck. Is almost always in cosplay.
Nerissa (The Deathspeaker) - The 4th of the gods. She is pretty rude and uncaring most of the time
Ollie (SoPP) - Wants to be a super cool evil man just like their dad!!! They’re practicing their evil laugh and takes notes every time their dad does anything. They love having such a cool dad
Owen (Lilith) - Weaver of Knowledge. He’s pretty chill for a guy who should probably be under a lot of stress. He’s the Cool grandpa. He named his talking cat Ice Cream
Pallas (Lilith) - Weaver of Time and Space. Main character and a member of the rebel group. Basically second in command. She and Yijun say they’re friends but if shit goes wrong they have made it clear they will not hesitate to kill each other and they’ll only feel a little bad about it.
Parisa (DND) - Second of the orc NPCs in the Underworld campaign. Nobody’s ever been nice to her before she’s not used to it and keeps trying to hit the kindness with her axe
Peanut Butter (Lilith) - Ife’s cat! Their purrs are healing and they’re so cudddly.
Perry (TAOC) - Mute 11 year old with a lot of rudeness stored in their tiny body. Swears at people constantly using sign language because they know a lot of the people they know don’t know sign language. Their power is the ability to transform into a bunch of butterflies and back
Phoenix (The Deathspeaker/Of Gods and Roses) - I’m not explaining them again my hands already hurt from all this typing, they’re one of my favorites just look at any post I’ve ever made about them please
Piano Man (Name-In-Progress) - They are a literal piano man. And several other instruments. Their torso is an accordion. Every step they take makes music. Very few people like their company, which is why they insist on hanging out with everyone
Pinecone (Other/Unused) - The Patchie that befriended Creature. They are very small and they have so much love. I don’t think they know how to be scared of things.
Poppy (SoPP) - The monster Izzy fell head over heels for in the span of 2 seconds. Poppy is so soft she is lovely I love her she’s wonderful
Ralph (Lilith) - Ok honestly I’m just vaguely sure that this is a Lilith character. I think he’s the guy who sells explosives to Natasha. I want him to play a bigger role I just never figured it out.
Rat Man (The Deathspeaker) - They are dressed like a rat and they like to sneak into the god place and torment Phoenix
Raven (CYOA) - Main Antagonist for every route. She’s a digital girl in a digital world and she wants to digitally fucking lose it
Red (Lilith) - Main character and a member of the rebel group. They’re the first of the rebels Natasha meets! Red shot her in the shoulder with an arrow and then knocked her out. They’re dating now.
Reina (TAOC) - 8 year old with the power to give prophecies about the future! She’s been in Mr Creativity’s lab for as long as she can remember
Reese (CYOA) - One of the playable characters! They’re the one least aware of what’s going on and they spend most of their routes Screaming
Rhythm (Other/Unused/DND PC) - My character for Randy’s second Carnival Casino campaign that will maybe happen at some point. They’re a demon and Tempo’s datemate. They are very rude!
Ringmaster (Alternate Memories) - Main antagonist. Main goal: Becoming real. Which isn’t ideal for anyone.
Rosalind (Of Gods and Roses) - The poor unfortunate soul that had to deal with Phoenix getting a crush for the first time
Roswell (CYOA) - Mad scientist! Minor antagonist in most routes, minor protagonist in some routes! He simply wants to make robots and fuck with unethical science
Rowena WIllowpyre (The Deathspeaker) - Minor antagonist. Emotion magic teacher at the school. Keeps poking her nose into everyone’s secrets and BOY did she stumble across a DOOZY that she just can’t WAIT to ruin Dara’s life with
Ruby Warmheart (The Deathspeaker) - Background character I got attached to. She’s currently the youngest person at the school
Sadie (Name-In-Progress) - Piano Man’s work buddy! Sadie does stuff like juggling while Piano Man’s going ham with his music.
Saffron (Wizidiots) - They’re a Wizard101 OC that was going to maybe be in a collab comic with a couple other people, but the project unfortunately didn’t go anywhere. It’s ok, I still really like Saffron. They’re very gay
Shade (Name-In-Progress) - Antagonist hosting an evil game show in a very fantasy world. Nobody’s actually in danger they’re just really dramatic and they want to get SOME kind of reaction from Frosty
Shadow (Lilith) - Natasha’s shadowy pal. I. I don’t know how else to describe them. That’s it.
Shannon Mythcrafter (The Deathspeaker) - Main character! She hasn’t really gotten a chance to shine yet, but not to worry! Chapter 6 is coming up and she’s got a very very big part to play!!!! I’m so excited
Shekinah (SoPP) - Poppy’s angel friend! Doesn’t trust humans, especially Izzy, because she’s very protective of Poppy.
Silver (CYOA) - Cowboy lesbian robot. What else do you need to know! Just kidding, she’s one of the playable characters that you unlock later and has direct ties into some of the main conflicts.
Silvius (Of Gods and Roses) - I don’t know what to say here, he’s kind of spoilers
Space (The Deathspeaker) - Technically his name is Charles but he only lets people he’s friends with call him that. The 7th of the gods. Big nerd.
Space Shrimp With A Gun (Other/Unused/I might put them in Name-In-Progress??? Working it out) - Just. Just look at their name
Spoon (Alternate Memories) - A fictional cat from the Realm of Pretend! One of the only nice characters in this whole story. Spoon is very friendly
Tempo (Other/Unused/DND PC) - My character for Randy’s Carnival Casino campaign! She is very polite until people lie to her and then she punches them in the face and tells them to get fucking therapy
Terra (DND) - Main NPC of the Underworld campaign. Half elf, daughter of Maia and sister of Anthony! Wants to do crime
The Baby (Nothing) - She doesn’t have an actual name so I’ve just been calling them “the baby” or “pastel”. They will not get a name. She’s some kind of immortal being who will fuck you up
The Deathspeaker (The Deathspeaker) - wonder what this comic is named after. Main antagonist. Demon. Just horrible. Should get punched, and does
The Doll (SoPP) - The living doll Dolly owns that does his best to protect her.
The Goth (Nothing) - Once again, they don’t have an actual name, so her name is just “the goth” now. VERY gay for Pastel.
??? (The Deathspeaker) - Main antagonist/protagonist? Yeah they’re vibing
Tim (SoPP) - Ollie’s evil and rude dad! The main antagonist, but he’s only played as actually scary for a few instances before it’s revealed he’s just a soft dad guy. He thinks he’s scary tho
Tim (DND) - YEAH I GOT TWO TIMS. I HAD TWO DIFFERENT PUNS I NEEDED TO MAKE. This Tim is a merchant for my family DND campaign! He sells magic items obtained by questionable means
Truth (Lilith) - :D Antagonist
Twitch (The Deathspeaker) - Minor character that shows up in Chapter 12! He’s married to Darby. Twitch is also a tiny 3′ bug man
Valerie Soulbreeze (The Deathspeaker) - Main character! Has a lot on her shoulders and it’s a lot of pressure and she’s so tired of the pressure
Vena (DND) - Main antagonist of the Vena/Art campaign! He murdered people and awoke a celestial
Victor Soulbreeze (The Deathspeaker) - Main character! Valerie’s twin, a science boy, seems very soft and innocent but that’s only until he sets a goal that requires doing some crimes to achieve. He may not be good at crimes but he’ll do them
Wasabi (SoPP) - One of Poppy’s friends! Poppy is their only friend and they trust her so much and would kill for her
Wyvren (TAOC???) - One of Phoenix’s bastard children who is APPARENTLY in TAOC and I don’t know what to do about it
Xena (Alternate Memories) - I want them to be important I’m working on it I swear
Yijun (Lilith) - The leader of the rebel gang. Kinda really shitty, but very fun to write
Zane Godfree (The Deathspeaker) - A character my friend Yale made just so Death could have a goth boyfriend

Unnamed: Silver and Gold (Other/Unused) - :T

Unnamed: Rave Boy (Other/Unused) - a

I just saw that fanfic ask thing and I was like “woah idk anything abt yr WIPs anymore!” Anyway you should post abt all your WIPs (or at least the ones you’re currently excited abt!!
Thank you! I haven’t had active WIPs in years and suddenly I got em all!
First is my screenplay. I’ve been trying to learn screenplay writing and all the advice is ‘your first screenplay is garbage and you’ll never get the first 5 things you write made’ and it’s very discouraging and makes me mad but I decided that the best way to get practice is to write things I don’t expect to get made first so do do do dooo *triumphant horns* I’m adapting a favorite fanfic into a screenplay! I’m about halfway through now and to the part where it being a movie is going to necessitate there’s a difference in the plot. I’m very scared! The climax of the original fic was shower sex but now it has to be like, a daring rescue??? Very different. Only have myself to rely on. Don’t like it.
Second is a fix-it fic for the syfy show Haven. I watched it on and off when it first got on netflix years ago but I was recently made aware that there’s a lot of OT3 fic so I went back and watched it in order. It’s a pretty solid show for the first 3 seasons and season 4 did some??? questionable??? things??? But the season finale was just too much I couldn’t take it any more! There was a perfectly reasonable solution that would’ve been in character and wouldn’t have made everything worse and the writers didn’t take it! And I found a fix it fic that did it a little but it only fixed the scene that was wrong and I need the whole episode to be fixed! So I guess I gotta write it myself! The hard part about writing for Haven though is that it’s got a lot of mysteries and writing about it when I don’t like the solution to those mysteries is very!! hard!! like I kept waiting for an answer and then you gave me the answer and I’m like??? that’s dumb and now I have to find a better answer!! It feels like in Avengers Infinity War where they were like THERE’S ONLY ONE WAY TO WIN and then you watch Endgame and it’s like no?? I could think of a dozen better ways to win! Except now I have to execute the better way and the better way would make it so the series ends in season 4 so not only am I fixing the episode I’m kinda finishing the whole series and there’s a lot of other moving pieces and I basically am gonna have to find all the threads and put them on a fuckin murder board and figure out how they fit together. i’m exhausted just thinking about it. do I really wanna be a writer?(i do unfortunately)
Also in Haven, I was listening to spotify and a song from Tangled the Series came on and I was suddenly hit with how HARD it vibes with one of the characters (underutilized female characters! this show’s got em!) and now I MUST write a Tangled AU. I have..... no idea how I’m going to make that happen I just know I must.

Hi! I love your youtube channel & I think you're super cool! I'm a newer follower and was wondering if you could give a summary of the concept of Fostered---it sounds like a really interesting series!
Aww thank you!
Yes I can!! Fostered is too thicc for me to give extensive summaries (unless y’all want this) and there is very little you need to know from the earlier books to understand the current ones! That’s because as myself and the series have aged, its genre, age category, and plot points have changed!
Here’s a small outline of the main characters:
Reeve
Protagonist + narrator for all “main” Fostered books
Sister of Lonan
Will write salty breakup songs about people she was never in a relationship with
Bi as fuck!
Foster
Was once Reeve’s boyfriend?? no??
Best friend of Harrison
Will write love songs about tofu
Ace as fuck!!!
Harrison
Best friend of Foster
Also Reeve’s best friend!
Sort of love-interest of Lonan (we’re getting there lol)
Will write love songs about waffles
Gay! as! fuck!
Protagonist of Moth Work
Lonan
Reeve’s brother!
An antagonist for a good chunk of this series
Will not write love songs he has no heart (he does I am just mean)
Also bi as fuck!! Everyone is bi in that family lol we love it
Here’s a breakdown (CW: there’s a lot of violence/convo about mental illness/potentially triggering content in these summaries, so tread with caution):
Fostered (book 1) to Resisted (book 3):
These books (Fostered, Hunted, Resisted) are probably the most harmonious out of the 6 (7 including Moth Work) so far! That’s because for a long time, I believed Fostered would end at three books (initially a standalone, then duology). They’re all closely linked through the “foster homes” plot (hence the name of the series) and are obviously the most dystopian of the books (all three are also YA). You can feel the 2014 dystopian vibes in this book lol. I wrote this summary 5 years ago for my first ask ever and it sums up that idea:
The book takes place in the not-too-distant future where children who’ve committed crimes, are neglected, or have chosen to, are sent to behavioural detention centres – what everyone else that’s not the government like to call ‘foster homes’. The story revolves around a fifteen-year-old girl named Reeve who’s lived two years in a ‘foster home’ after being accused of her sister’s murder. Following an accident that she caused which subsequently led to her escape of her foster home, she stumbles across a group of kids, who like her, have gone through the lifestyle and also have escaped. She makes an alliance with them and everything seems in its place until she finds out that a team of hunters are searching for her because of the same accident. Unable to remember anything that happened from the event, she then learns that maybe all things don’t point to her – what really happened on the day she escaped?
(props to 14-year-old me for writing this)
I wrote these three books so quickly (though at the time, as a thirteen-year-old, it felt like drafting took forever). I started Fostered in October of 2014, and by May of 2015, I was halfway through Resisted :))))). How?? These books are all above 85k??? I could never!!!
FOSTERED (book 1 - YA dystopian):
Follows the above plot. What isn’t mentioned above is how this book starts. We start with Reeve (15 at the time–a baby!!!) chillin in an abandoned storage unit she was hoping to use as shelter. HOWEVER, plot twist of the season–there are already people there!
She’s semi-ambushed by these people who she later learns are our good ol’ pals Foster and Harrison. The boys are also taking care of a 6-year-old girl named Essie who they love fiercely!! They’re sketched out by Reeve, which we later find out is because–they! know! her!
Foster, Harrison, and Reeve were actually all the closest pals in a ‘foster home’ they called WAFFLE. Reeve forgets that during the disastrous accident she causes that separates them (she blows up the foster home lmaooo) but lookie here–the squad is reunited! Eventually everyone comes to love each other (though it ain’t like that in the beginning) + Foster and Reeve have a romance which I find so bizarre now?? They would never.
The squad is being “hunted” by a group of “chasers” (I LOVE dystopian lool) headed by a woman named Red who is actually?? a badass? She tries to kill them a bunch of times, Reeve kills Lonan’s sister by using her as a human shield, Essie dies, I’m awful!
HUNTED (book 2 - YA dystopian):
After Essie’s death, the group is shook! Harrison especially as he is *soft* and the “leader” of the group. To protect his other ducklings who are now the most sought after people in America lmao (Foster and Reeve), he does something SCANDALOUS and joins the *government* AKA all the evil people putting innocent children in these awful detention centres. What a 180! Essentially, he does this to purposefully manipulate investigations into Foster and Reeve away from them, but Reeve doesn’t know this so she’s cheesed when she finds out (she feels #betrayed)!
Harrison’s departure of the group triggers the group’s breakup. Harrison joins an *elite* section of the government that *I believe* tries to wrangle runaway foster kids?? This group is lead by our other good pal Lonan and this is the first book he appears in! He takes Red’s place as antagonist in this book.
The group also includes Holly, a badass who is also Foster’s older sister (and also Lonan’s first serious girlfriend)! She’s scary! She also dies by hanging in a blood-drinking cult mid-way through this book! don’t! ask! Margo is this group’s tech analyst, and she’s a mentally distant hippie (and Harrison’s first and last serious girlfriend which obvi didn’t work out lol he’s gay!) Idk what Harrison’s job was here, but he learns techy stuff from Margo!
This book is important because it establishes Lonan, who continues to be a pivotal character as the series progresses. It also establishes Lonan and Harrison’s relationship. Obvi Lonan is the antagonist in this book and won’t make his redemption arc for another 1book lol, but him and Harrison have a bit of a bizarre relationship. Though they’re almost rivals, they almost adore being each other’s rivals (but don’t tell them that)? After Harrison leaves Lonan’s team, the squad essentially is *hunted* by them, hence the book title lol.
By the end of this book, a few important things happen! Lonan kills Margo (remember, Harrison’s first and last girlfriend lol, we could say Lonan was killing his competition lol is that too much), this obviously reinforces his role as bad guy! After the book’s events, Lonan eventually overtakes the group and they’re all imprisoned! Love it!
RESISTED (book 3 - YA dystopian):
This is my favourite Fostered book because there’s just so much tea! We start in “headquarters” AKA Lonan’s pride and joy! After he kills off his old boss so he can be Ultimate Antagonist (actually because she essentially killed his girlfriend ahaha), he’s the Man in Charge and power trippin like crazy.
Reeve is separated from Foster and Harrison who are also in HQ because she’s mentally unwell. Lonan has given her the job of executing people (because he is evil) which she ain’t diggin! so Lonan takes it upon himself to address her mental health concerns (which obviously isn’t helping because they mutually hate each other).
Eventually, Reeve barters with Lonan for what she wants by using Holly’s death (which only she and Foster witnessed) as leverage. As I mentioned above, Lonan essentially kills/drives away his entire *elite government squad* which means! He needs another one! Reeve uses this as an opportunity and says WELL you COULD hire Foster and Harrison. Lonan does and VOILA we suddenly have a new squad!
This is really where we build a relationship between Lonan and Reeve who have previously done nothing but try to kill each other! They actually bond in this bizarre kind of way. While they still don’t like each other, they mutually understand each other more than Foster and Harrison do as in many ways, Lonan and Reeve have both done the same awful things (lots of killing people :))).
This all builds up to the epic reveal that they are actually half siblings (they share a mother) and oh DOES THE TEA START BOILING. This news causes major tension in the OG squad (Reeve, Foster, Harrison) as Foster and Harrison think Lonan has done too many irredeemable things to be forgiven, despite the fact that he and Reeve are related. They are right! However, Reeve isn’t so quick to decide.
She and Lonan go through a lot together (including kidnapping! attempted murder! An explosion! Reeve pretending to be a corpse!) which are still some of my favourite things to re-read and the reason I love this book the most out of all the books I’ve written. This is where #redemption arc occurs!
This book is too long for me to cover everything, but essentially their relationship is the most important! The book ends when the squad (now joined by Lonan) is forced out of hiding because Reeve is injured and actually needs real medical attention! This leads to ANOTHER separation, with Reeve heading back to a foster home for the first time in a few years!
Hollowed (book 4) to Rewired (book 6)
HOLLOWED (book 4 - YA (?) dystopian (?))
Book four is my least favourite book of the 6 and that’s because it’s melodramatic and I was finding my writing style! It’s not quite appropriate for YA because of its violent subject matter, but wouldn’t appeal to adults, so it’s a bit category-less. Dystopian elements still exist, but are less relevant, so it’s also a bit muddled in term of genre.
All you need to know in terms of events are that Reeve meets someone named Lincoln in the foster home she’s put in (see previous) who ends up being a horrifically abusive person. He sort of shifts into the role as antagonist, though from this book on, the lines between good guys and bad guys blur. Hollowed also introduces a new character–Glenne! Glenne is Lonan’s second serious girlfriend and remnants of this relationship still show up in current Fostered spinoffs (tho she will be irrelevant in Houses With Teeth most likely).
SPLINTERED (book 5 - YA?????)
The genre and category of this book are impossible to define. We continue almost where we left off in book four, and this book is pretty unremarkable in terms of events lol. The squad remains the same, except toward the end, we’re introduced to Darren, a dude from California who hears about Lonan’s *elite government squad* (before the government disowned him) and hopes they can help him locate his missing brother (tho he don’t reveal this until book six).
This book is mostly about Lonan’s declining mental health that still has not gotten better. Some hints of Lonan and Harrison’s relationship getting closer are also dropped in this book.
REWIRED (book 6 - Adult (???) literary fiction sometimes???)
The category of this book is bizarre. It begins as weirdly maybe almost YA, but dips into adult literary fiction at some points. This book is where I really grasped my style and so the genre and category reflect that transition.
What you need to know about Rewired is the progression of Darren and Reeve’s relationship as it goes from acquaintances to PALS to MORE THAN PALS to I don’t! want to be! your! pal! This book is so weird and disjointed because of this transition away from YA dystopian and into adult literary fiction. We also get even more Lonan and Harrison relationship development as Reeve meddles her way into business that is not hers!
MOTH WORK (spinoff - no categories anymore I have no idea)
The most recent Fostered book! We finally get to see Lonan and Harrison’s relationship on the page and oh boy! Is there tea! As Lonan struggles to grasp trauma from childhood, and Harrison struggles to help him, their relationship goes to places it ain’t never been before! This eventually leads to a much needed separation where Lonan explores a new relationship with Eliza (his father’s ex oooooof) and Harrison figures out what he needs in order to live a healthier, happier life. MW is a bridge between book six and seven.
HOUSES WITH TEETH (book 7 - adult literary fiction *I’m hoping*)
I have yet to write this book, but we’re back in Reeve’s head! Here’s a synopsis I’ve shared before:
After escaping a toxic relationship, twenty-year-old Reeve disappears for the second time in one year. She’s drawn to Wicker, a mealy town outside New York City, whose disappearances of affluent girls has caught her attention. The day she arrives, a sinkhole buries one of them in the front yard of her new home, a fixer-upper she shares with estranged friend, Foster. Quickly she falls prey to speculation by herself and others, who try to connect her to the tragedy. And even stranger, false recognitions as the girl in the ground, and the many other missing Wicker girls make her feel more and more like one of them–these alluring, unknown women.
This book is very much my vibe now as a writer, however, it’s been difficult to re-integrate back into Reeve’s head with all Fostered’s dystopian elements removed! I don’t have much else to share about this book since I know so little about it, but it is essentially my current project.
So I hope that was helpful! There’s a lot of unexplored territory that I worry might be impossible to get into because I legitimately do not remember a lot @sarahkelsiwrites calls me a fake fan lol (I genuinely am), but if y’all ever want to know more, I am 100% down to share whatever! This was also a lot of info so if y’all have questions, send ‘em in!
Enjoy this abridged version of Fostered!

i just had flashbacks to that one fucking scene in amnesty where the shifter took boyd's voice mid sentence and i'm really not a fan of that
so mom is shebry and the ship is the mariah

regarding your stranger things season 3 answer, I wanna chime in too: I'm only halfway through, but I definitely agree with your overall impression so far lol! But I really love the cinematographic and the visual composition, it goes along nicely with the storylines etc. biggest annoyance/confusion right now: I'm on the 4th episode and were is all this brotherly-sisterly concern/worry between Billy and Max coming from….have you not seen the 2nd season haha! idk, maybe I'm missing sth lol :P
Yay, I’m glad someone agrees with me! I generally try my best to tone down the negativity whenever I’m discussing fandom stuff, but I also like to give my honest opinion so sometimes that can be a challenge haha. I’ve tried to see the positives of the new season, but overall I didn’t like it. In comparison to how much I enjoyed season 2, season 3 didn’t even come close to measuring up. Everything about it felt like filler and whilst I appreciate and enjoy many aspects of the show, like the cinematography as you mentioned, and the music, cast, 80s nostalgia etc. the actual plot and character development this season was so basic. I expected more and I think maybe that’s why I feel the way I do towards the season.
As for Billy and Max…urgh, I know. I don’t think you’re missing anything, the Duffer brothers just did a complete 180 with Billy in season 3 to make him sympathetic and creating a softer dynamic with Max was part of that. Since you haven’t seen the whole of season 3 yet I’m going to enter a STRANGER THINGS S3 SPOILERS warning because I’ll be discussing Billy’s arc from across the season ahead.
As a whole, I wasn’t a big fan of the Billy story-line and what was done with him, because it was too cliche, predictable and forced. Based on what I know about the original plans for Steve from watching Beyond Stranger Things, I feel like Billy was brought in as another Steve. If you don’t already know about this, originally Steve’s character profile was very simple - he was the stereotypical handsome jock that was a bit of a twat and somewhat obnoxious, and he wasn’t really supposed to go beyond that. But the Duffer brothers ended up liking Joe Keery so much that they developed Steve’s character and took him to a different place than they originally planned. So I feel like Billy was brought in to bring that “bad guy” energy that was lacking because they decided to turn Steve into a “good guy”. The problem is, Billy was more than a little bit of an asshole. I know there’s much worse things a person can do - he wasn’t a murderer or a rapist or a drug dealer etc. - but he was abhorrent. He was an aggressive racist, extremely abusive and controlling towards Max (to the point that she was afraid of him), antagonistic and violent (he beat Steve to a pulp without any hesitation and was generally threatening to a room full of children). Billy was not a nice person period. Season 3 opened up with him pursuing Mrs Wheeler (don’t even get me started on that plot, it’s so wrong on every level and I don’t even understand why it was written) which further showed that he wasn’t a good person. And then suddenly I’m supposed to feel sorry for him because he was possessed by the Mind Flayer? The word “karma” comes to mind. The attempt to make him sympathetic didn’t work for me at all. Some childhood memory of him on the beach with his mother is supposed to erase all that he’s done and make me feel positive towards him to the point that I’m sad when he dies? I don’t think so. And I know technically, he was still practically a child himself so maybe I shouldn’t be so harsh, but I think the attempt to redeem him was pitiful and it wasn’t as emotive or hard-hitting for me as it seems to have been for other fans. As for Max, regardless of how he treated her, he was still her step-brother so I kind of understand the emotion there, but I think there needed to be much more focus on developing their relationship. Even one or two flashbacks to them when they were a bit younger where Billy showed her kindness or was sweet to her would’ve made that much more believable. But all we ever saw from him was him being a complete asshole to her. Even his protectiveness was overbearing and completely inappropriate, so I can’t even count that as being an endearing aspect of their relationship.

I would love to hear your thoughts about Fire and Blood when you finish it! (Or not even when you finish it, just whenever, cuz you're amazing!) 💕
I have the best friends in the world! Love and hugs, lady.
I am halfway through and I intend to go back and reread each chapter once I finish since I keep blowing through pages because I want to know all the things, which is not very good for proper processing. But a few of the things that jumped at me so far:
(spoilers for Fire and Blood volume 1 under the cut)
1. Gyldayn seems more rambly and prone to ponder sexual scandals than Yandel. He spent waaaay too much time talking about that, and while sexuality is at the heart of some conflicts, the way he went on about the story of Coryanne Wylde and the sordid details of how she was “examined” really undermines his position as a historian and makes me overly iffy on him. Also, there are private conversations between Jaehaerys and Alysanne that I’d really like to know his source on.
2. Speaking of authors, what the actual fuck George? You’d think that in a book that goes so into detail about unconfirmed scandals he’d have the room to expand on someone like, idk, Argella Durrandon? He had the chance to make her story a bit better but he not only did he uphold her forceful loss of voice being the last we hear of her, he compounded the matter by also having Marla Sunderland’s tongue removed before she was packed off to the Silent Sisters. Literal stripping of women’s voices for defiance, by their own men no less, when it’s so unnecessary and so singular in its gendered use in the plot infuriates me. There is a lot of overlap between gender and silencing of voice in this (Argella, Marla, Ceryse Hightower, Rhaena Targaryen). UGH.
3. On the topic of women, Torrhen Stark’s daughter not only does not have a name, she is completely unmentioned in Jonos Arryn’s rebellion, nor by her nephew (?) Alaric with either Alysanne or Jaehaerys. Looks a bit peculiar since Alaric obviously brooded on the consequences of Targaryen decision for his family in the case of Jaehaerys and those he sent to the Wall, so is there any particular reason Torrhen’s daughter goes completely unmentioned even when the topic of marriage was raised and southern matches brought up, George?
4. Aegon, Visenya and Rhaenys are outright referred to as the three heads of the dragon. It’s no longer symbolic or understood but an explicit connection. That’s way too obvious for me to buy that Rhaegar’s Aegon and Rhaenys don’t point straight to a recreation of the Conquest Trio.
5. The war of escalating atrocities between Dorne and the Targaryens is terrible but I feel like there is a conscious effort to make the Targaryens seem better somewhat? The mention of them trying to negotiate at this point before actually utilizing dragonflame is weird because it is not consistent with anything in the Conquest. I don’t know what to do with that part.
6. The First Dornish War makes Daeron I’s folly in the conquest more obvious. Dornish terrain is as much an element to conquer as Dornish people and it costs a lot to manage it. Keeping conquered Dornish ground is bloody hard even with dragons. Daeron even leaves a Tyrell in charge just like Aegon.
7. Is it just me or does the Targaryen succession look weird in early days? Jaehaerys is referred to as the rightful heir by all rights then a few pages later it’s nope, Aerea is then suddenly we’re talking about Rhaena’s claim even though every reference to Targaryen succession before that points to a male-preference primogeniture. Alysanne takes issue with Jaehaerys treating Aemon as his heir over Daenerys even though Jaehaerys’ accession is tarnished based on that principle. There is a distinct vibe of seeing the son of Rhaenys the Queen Who Never Was as the expected heir of Aemon rather than Rhaenys herself (though this could partly because Princess Rhaenys and Lord Corlys wanted to put forward a potential male heir to offset Baelon being seen as the natural successor - since when was Baelon seen as the natural successor though? That apparently wasn’t only Jaehaerys’ sentiment so was that a popular view while Aemon lived or a reaction to Baelon avenging Aemon? Was Aemon aware and that’s why he made a comment to Rhaenys about liking a grandson, or was that regular era preference of male heirs?). Main takeaway though is that Jaehaerys passing over Rhaenys had nothing with extant competing claims but was about regarding Baelon as a natural successor for his gender, age and prowess. Jaehaerys pretty much didn’t even consider Rhaenys. Headdesk. You’re killing me, man.
8. I feel like the characters of Rhaena Targaryen and Alyssa Velaryon are being walked back. The point where apparently Septon Barth comments that Alyssa undoubtedly wanted to do the right thing but didn’t know what that was flies in the face of her previously established actions. I don’t like how she was taken down from an active and conscious political player, to a confused and almost secondary player next to Rogar (much preferred him when he was Robar, both the name and the person) till their final tiff, to a womb and another casualty of childbirth with the emphasis being on her children. Rhaena may have called out the latter but the whole thing feels like a punishment for Alyssa for first opposing Jaehaerys and Alysanne then opposing Rogar. As for Rhaena, she swings between political sacrifice for the greater good to treating Jaehaerys and Alysanne with contempt for it. Resentment is perfectly normal and understandable but Rhaena surpasses that. She is purposely cast in an unfavorable light and her sexuality is strongly used to frame it.
9. There is a bit of exoneration after the fact to Jaehaerys sentencing most of Maegor’s Kingsguard to the Wall on contradicting arguments. I get his point about oathbreaking but punishing those who deserted Maegor because they didn’t uphold their vows to protect hum while also punishing those who didn’t desert him for defending and enabling a murderous usurper is extremely contradictory. That the two knights who deserted Maegor then deserted the Night’s Watch and a caused a conflict that claimed the life of Walton Stark neatly brushes this quandary off because it demonstrates that Jaehaerys was right.
10. I love how Septon Barth and Alysanne often work as a team in pushing Jaehaerys towards one policy or another. On more than one occasion, one of them makes the argument and the other comes with the definitive final strike. I love the women’s court and Alysanne’s Laws though I think there is a certain vagueness in the way Jaehaerys codified inheritance in the Widow’s Law. I’m still midway through Viserys I’s tenure though so I don’t know if this will be raised in any sort of legal argument for the Dance but it’s a non-issue so far.
11. I hate how Daella Targaryen was written. I hate how we keep adding names to the “death by childbirth” list. I hate how the child brides keep getting ignored. This is too conspicuous in the case of Daella and her daughter Aemma Arryn. Queen Alysanne held herself and especially Jaehaerys to blame for Daella’s death because she felt that, at 16-17, they wed her too early and that contributed to her death in childbed. But it’s treated like a non-issue that Aemma married Viserys at 11 and was bedded at 13.
12. I’m indescribably charmed by how Baelon the Brave got his epithet by booping a dragon on the nose. Also, the relationship between Aemon and Baelon, and Baelon and Alyssa. Too bad we can’t have nice things.
13. I already lost my shit over this in DMs with you but still, Aerea Targaryen! Aerea Targaryen! Oh my god. I was equally horrified and fascinated. A speculated trip to Valyria that resulted in the princess’ body being inhabited by “worms with faces” or “snakes with hands” made of fire and heat that cooked her body from the inside. This surpasses Valyria being a thin place or geophysically unstable. This means there is a Lovecraftian horror capable of using human bodies (and non-human bodies, Balerion was wounded as well but dragons are fire made flesh so that probably protected him) as vessels to… spread? Take over? Turn people into dragonic/fire abominations? Also, also, is that take over possible for anyone or is whatever is dormant in Targaryen DNA that tends to emerge with the use of magic in the form of babies with dragon-like qualities (though it appeared in non-magical cases) makes them more susceptible?
COMPARE TO THE OTHERS. A Lovecraftian horror made of ice and another made of fire. Blood magic probably behind the creation (calling?) of both. We still don’t know how the Others came to be and there has been legitimate rebuttals to the show’s version of their creations BUT I think what could be taken from the show is the suggestion that this is blood magic gone wrong. Both take over human bodies though differently (is this linked to living bodies being warm and dead ones growing cold? Is that why the fire-based monstrosity manifests in living creatures while the Others trades in dead bodies? The things beneath Aerea’s skin burst out either when they felt the cold of the ice bath the maesters put her in or when she suffered cardiac arrest and died. Either way it’s connected to cold) The cosmic balance between ice and fire has deeper roots….. now I’m really curious as to the nature of the magic of the Wall that keeps ice and fire firmly separated.
14. We are slowly building a succession history for the Starks: Torrhen Stark -> son (?) Brandon -> son Walton -> brother Alaric -> grandson Edric -> Ellard of undetermined relation. That’s how as far as I got in the book but that’s too far from the Benjen Stark that starts the Stark family tree in TWOIAF. Cregan Stark was already Lord of Winterfell by 129 so that’s a period of 28 years between that and the Great Council that also fits the aforementioned Benjen and his son Rickon, Cregan’s father and grandfather.
15. I’m so not a fan of the art in this book. It ranges from blatantly inaccurate (Aemond and Luke during the Dance, SIGH), to exaggerated (Elinor Costayne is weird in that art with Maegor. Also, did she wait to react till she climbed the entire Iron Throne? And Jaehaerys was cool and measured in his response to Maegor’s supporters after landing in the Red Keep. WHY does he look like he is yelling in the art?) to weird (Which of the Black Brides is dressed like a septa and why? Why does Jaehaerys look like all of 8 at his coronation when he was actually 14?). Perhaps that’s a bit nitpicky but I’m not impressed tbh.
16. GRRM overdid it with Jaehaerys’ reign imo. There is writing conflict because peace and prosperity is dull to write, and there is cramming every possible conflict under the sun in the story. Was there anything missing? I count family drama, political intrigues, succession questions, plague, policy changes, financial crisis, winter, and mini-rebellions. He reigned for a long time so I get it but at one point it was one conflict after another that I’m having trouble reconciling what I read with previous descriptions of Jaehaerys’ reign.
17. There is a lot to talk about with Jaehaerys and Alysanne but I want to get the timeline straight and give it some more thought. But I will say that as delighted as I am with all the women in Alysanne’s story and with Jaehaerys and Alysanne’s relationship reflected in policy, it’s monumentally disappointing to read about his relationship with his daughters. There was an underlining gentleness in how he treated his mother Alyssa and Rhaena that was sorely missing with some of his daughters. I came out of this part feeling really off and unsettled. And sad. So very sad. WTF, Jaehaerys. Just WTF.
That’s my preliminary thoughts on the first half of the book. It’s mostly feelings with a side of unsubstantiated and unresearched spiraling. Politics, worldbuilding and themes tend to appear on later reads.

ST: TNG S4 Watchthrough Episodes 10-13
The Loss: They did it again guys! They made a good episode about the female character! This time for Troi, yay! I love the woman, but her focus episodes have just been… let’s just say not up to par. But this time? A strange anomaly causes Troi to lose her empathic abilities, and… well, she doesn’t take it well. She tries to take it well, but when one loses a part of themselves that they’ve had their whole lives and rely on for not only their job but to go about their day? You’re not just okay. Deanna tries to just live with it and deny that it’s an issue. All it does is cause her frustration to build up and lash out. If this was an episode meant to focus on disabilities… well while I don’t have one, Troi’s reactions make perfect sense. She gets rather harsh, but I’d be more concerned if she didn’t cause… yeah. Everyone tries to be sympathetic, but all it does is make her feel like they’re pitying/acting condescending towards her. Again, understandable. Everything that she is feeling is perfectly understandable and I just want to hug the poor woman. I feel like there are some issues like Riker, while I can tell that he was using a tough-love approach t get her o get int ouch with her human half, was a huge asshole when comforting Troi the second time cause saying she acted like her Betazoid abilities made her superior to humans when she never did and is having a hard time adjusting to a major loss? Yeah… dude WTF? Also felt like Geordi shoudl have been utilized cause he’s also disabled and already figured out how to go through life with it. Even if Troi didn’t want his help, it would have been nice to mention. Also kind of conflicted on Troi getitng her powers back. I’m glad that she did, but I think it would have been much stronger if she hadn’t since she proved that she can still do her job without it, or have to regain it over time. Nevertheless, it’s still a really nice episode with Marina Sirtis doing an excellent job here, and again, Troi FINALLY got a good episode. Now keep it up TNG cause she deserves the best~! 4/5.
Data’s Day: We get a pretty unique approach for this episode. We follow Data as he is making a log to send to Maddox, who I guess had an epiphany since The Measure of a Man to not be a discriminatory asshole. Data logs what is, to him, an ordinary day on the Enterprise. We see him perform regular tasks, deal with problems, and his role in solving the Problem of the Week that would normally be the main focus. We get Data’s narration throughout, which allows his personal perspective on the matters. Also on this particular day, Transporter Chief O’Brien and a woman named Keiko are getting married… and Keiko gets cold feet and thus the whole situation becomes a lot more complicated with Data, who more or less got the two together, stuck in the middle. I really enjoyed this new approach! Not only is the episode still eventful to keep our interest, but it’s very much an episode that we haven’t had either here or in TOS. Just a day in the life of one of the characters, which with all the issues they get into once a week leaves plenty to over. We have a good balance of the Romulan/Vulcan Ambassador plot and the wedding and Data’s part in it. Seeing and hearing his perspective and things like getting Crusher to teach him to dance since he’s filling the ‘father handing off the bride’ roll for Keiko… it was just so fun. But the most important part of this episode… DATA HAS A KITTY! FINALLY WE SEE THE KITTY! I LOVE IT SO MUCH, IT’S SO FLUFFY~!!! The ending with the wedding was also just so heartfelt and I already love this O’Brien/Keiko pairing a lot~! When O”Brien gets promoted to main character status in DS9 they better give me all the domestic fluff! 4/5.
The Wounded: And speaking of DS9, while I won’t be watching that one until TNG is wrapped up, I do know that the Cardassians are a big deal within it. Guess it’s appropriate for O’Brien to get some focus in this one, I guess they were predictig the future here XD So here we have a Starfleet Capain named Maxwell who has gone rogue and blown up a Cardassian ship despite the Federation having a treaty with them. Why? A few things, but the short version is War is Hell and even when a war ends, the hate/prejudice formed against the enemy after years of kiling each other doesn’t just go away. O’Brien, while not murderous, served under Maxwell during that war and with the Cardassians on board the ship… yeah he’s got some issues. So first… I reaffirm what I said above, O’Brien/Keiko is freakin’ precious! I am SO happy to see a happy, healthy couple in something and they’re just so lovely~! Can we get more of this in the media? Please?! Second… just damn. Maxwell, while very much not protrayed as in the right and his actions nearly caused a war to reignite, feels very much like. traumatized man who never got over the horrors that he endured nor gotten proper help, and it lead to his hatred taking over and causing the deaths of hundreds. While we find that he did have some right to be paranoid, he still did it for vengeance and didn’t have legit proof to justify the provication (and even then that doesn’t justify the body count), but it still feels utterly tragic. O’Brien going to him at the end and talking him down from continuing the onslaught… damn man. IDK if they were planning DS9 when they made this episode, but if it’s anything like this one then I’m expecting some good quality! The trauma of war and how it lingers, what happens when you allow yourself to get comfortable in one’s hatred, and considering that O’Brien is a B-Team character the same way everyone not The Triumvirate was in TOS, I like the focus and development for the character and I’m so excited to see how it continues when DS9 comes along~! 4.5/5.
Devil’s Due: Okay first, the Christmas Carol simulation in the beginning is hilarious considering that Patrick Stwart himself would later play Scrooge. His is my mom’s favorite adaptation actually (Michael Caine will always be the true Scrooge to me though). Okay, the actual episode… it was alright. Honestly, it feels more like a TOS episode, albeit it’s not as frustrating to me as their attempts in the past. But we have a very attractive woman claiming to be The Devil romantically hovering over the Captain. Almost makes me think of Sylvia from the Catspaw episode. Kudos to the actress for Ardra, she really made what would otherwise be another sexualized, evil female character essentially forcing herself on the hero like in every other TOS episode with Kirk fun. She’s not intimidating, coming off more like a diet, far less complex female version of Q, but still fun. Otherwise, it was just okay. Not great, not horrible. Just kinda ‘watchable but indifferent about’ kind of episode. But after a more intensive episode like the last one, having something a bit more light-hearted without any serious introspection, politics, and trauma is honestly pretty welcomed. Also, Picard getting teleported to the planet in his pajamas and Worf just being so confused was the funniest scene all episode though Data as the judge in the court battle (just go with it) was also amusing XD 2.5/5
S4 has just been delivering hard thus far! Event he last one, while he lowest rated so far, was still fun. We’re about halfway through and I can’t wait for what else awaits~!

For the fandom thingy!! Got, Cinderella (or would Disney be easier idk), that one Medici show, the white queen/princess, and Star Wars!
thank you so much, hon! :D this is gonna be the longest ask ever, so I’m gonna put the game of thrones first and then cut everything else under the “read more” line ;P but yes, thank you
game of thrones:
Top 5 favourite characters: ROBB STARK (always), ned stark, arya stark, sansa stark, jaime lannisterOther characters you like: I love so many got characters, but besides the top 5, I really love tyrion lannister, margaery tyrell, bran stark, stannis baratheon (mostly book!verse) and myrcella baratheon.Least favourite characters: haha…. walder frey and roose bolton, always. Otps: tyrion/sansa, ned/catelyn, arya/gendry. Notps: robb/margaery, jon/daenerys, jon/sansa. Favourite friendships: jon/robb, jaime/tyrion, sansa/margaeryFavourite family: the starks, always!Favourite episodes: 1x08 (the pointy end), 1x01 (winter is coming), 1x10 (fire and blood), 2x08 (the prince of winterfell), 3x03 (walk of punishment) and 3x05 (kissed by fire)…. all these for very good reasons… Favourite season/book/movie: season 3 and book 3 are both my favorites, but both excluding that one moment that never happened.Favourite quotes: “I’m not fighting for justice if I don’t serve justice to murderers in my ranks, no matter how highborn.” - robb // “you think I’m fighting this war so that they’ll sing songs about me? I want to go home.” - robb // “I asked him, how can a man be brave if he’s afraid? that is the only time a man can be brave, he told me.” - robb // “love’s not always wise, I’ve learned. it can lead us to great folly, but we follow our hearts… wherever they take us.” - robb // “never forget what you are. the rest of the world will not. wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.” - tyrion // “the north remembers.” - various
Best musical moment: robb being named king at the end of season 1. Moment that made you fangirl/boy the hardest: actually that’s also probably the moment robb was named king in 1x10. it’s just such a powerful, strong moment with a character I truly love getting the appreciation he definitely deserves. but at the same time there’s the obvious sense of dread, so I think the scene is done incredibly well. When it really disappointed you: well, ahem. obviously 3x09. it will always disappoint me. I get why it happened but it just sucks and hurts so badly. but other than for heartbreaking reasons, sadly a lot of season 7 disappointed me. I guess to name a single moment, the sex scene between jon and daenerys.Saddest moment: robb’s… departure… in 3x09. always. Most well done character death: *sigh* well, actually, probably ned’s. it’s really heartbreaking, but it had been built up to for multiple episodes, and it was done with a lot of feel and heartbreak. Favourite guest star: I’m not entirely sure who qualifies as a guest star, like how long they can be on the show to still be a guest, but I’m gonna say clive russell as brynden tully. he’s not supposed to just be a guest, but that’s what he turned out to be. still an amazing character.Favourite cast member: richard madden, always. my man. Character you wish was still alive: oh dear. robb stark, all the way, always. he’s still alive in my heart, though. One thing you hope really happens: robb comes back to life, takes back winterfell, saves the world from the white walkers and lives happily ever after. (what? that’s unlikely?)Most shocking twist: well, this is kinda hard for me to say because I actually knew that you-know-what would happen, so it wasn’t shocking when I saw it. in fact, I had tried to brace myself for it for ages. I guess I’m gonna say joffrey’s death, because that was definitely a twist. When did you start watching/reading?: probably in 2013? I honestly can’t really remember but it was in the 2012-2013 era. Best animal/creature: grey wind, always!Favourite location: winterfell!Trope you wish they would stop using: jon being an epic hero who gets one chance after another, forever. not exactly a trope, but I’m sure there’s a trope in there somewhere. One thing this show/book/film does better than others: creates complex, interesting characters with a lot of layer and depth, and shows that even villains can have a very humane side. and besides this, creating a world which is both fantasy, and yet still so very realistic almost to the point you could picture it being real history (which it obviously is not). Funniest moments: I will always a sucker for the moment in 1x01 when arya throws food at sansa and then cat commands robb to take her to bed. idk why, but I love it. as well as that, a lot of tyrion’s puns. and that moment at the end of 3x05 where tyrion and cersei are both acting like grumpy children as tywin commands them both to marry. idk why, but that cracks me up.Couple you would like to see: arya/gendry. I used to have more ships I liked on the show, but at this point that is the only one left I’d like to see.Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: well, a lot of my faves are already on the show, but I think rebecca ferguson would be amazing, or alicia vikander. and obviously my girl lily james.Favourite outfit: robb’s outfit in 3x09. despite everything, it’s a freaking gorgeous outfit that makes him look even more perfect than usual.Favourite item: any accessory the starks wear that has a direwolf on it. also many of sansa’s and margaery’s necklaces.Do you own anything related to this show/book/film?: oh yes, absolutely. so, so many things. obviously the dvd’s and all that, and the books, but also most of the funko pop dolls, a robb action figure which is actually mighty accurate, and things like calendars, notebooks and so forth. lots of stuff. What house/team/group/friendship group/family/race etc would you be in?: well, I would love to be a stark but I would not want to be related to robb. so, wishful thinking, stark through marriage? but if that doesn’t count, I guess I would be a lannister, if not for anything else, then for my apperance. there’s not a lot of blonde families in westeros. Most boring plotline: sorry, but jon and daenerys. Most laughably bad moment: *sigh* sadly, a lot of the dorne scenes, which sucks, because they were supposed to be awesome.Best flashback/flashfoward if any: the moment in season 6 when bran goes to the past and sees young ned going to the tower to rescue lyanna. the moment when bran calls for ned, and he turns around, is pretty heartbreaking. Most layered character: I want to say robb, but I know that from an unbiased pov, that ain’t so. I suppose I would say jaime, then. he is very well developed, and turned from a clear villain to an anti-hero, and to basically a hero at the point where the show is now. Most one dimensional character: I guess show!ellaria sand. I don’t even know what she’s doing.Scariest moment: like scary scary? hmm… I don’t know, maybe that moment at the end of season 2 where sam is hiding from the army of white walkers?Grossest moment: the oberyn vs mountain fight in season 4. I still can’t watch that properly.Best looking male: robb. richard. robb. richard. this man. perfection!! Best looking female: alexandra dowling, who plays roslin. she’s so pretty. Who you’re crushing on (if any): in case it wasn’t obvious by now, robb stark.Favourite cast moment: I feel like any moment at the 2013 comic con fits. I love how close they all seem, and I love seeing richard hanging with kit, alfie, michelle, rose etc.Favourite transportation: in got this is a little hard to answer, but I do love horses, so.. the horses? Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise): anything related to winterfell and the north. I also love the shots from iceland with beyond the wall scenery. I love snow and mountains.Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you: there’s actually so many theories around that sometimes I forget what hasn’t been actually addressed, but… hmm… I guess I would have liked to know more about what ned was actually up to during the war when robb was born (like I get that he went to grab jon, but there’s always been speculation about whether he actually cheated and what he was doing etc etc), and maybe honestly a lot of stuff related to that time period. except rhaegar and lyanna. I do not care what they did and why. but I can’t think of any actual plot errors right now.Best promo: the season 3 promo shoots were mighty good, I loved them. also season 6 just for the sake of them bringing robb back and me dying from excitement, even if it was just one promo picture. At what point did you fall in love with this show/book: I fell in love with the show quite quickly in season 1, and in the books it’s pretty much the same. maybe around halfway the first book I realized how complex and awesome it actually is.
cinderella (2015):
Top 5 favourite characters: prince kit (my darling), ella, the king, the captain, fairy godmotherOther characters you like: I really like ella’s parents a lot Least favourite characters: probably the grand duke.Otps: ella/kitNotps: anything related to ella and/or kit that isn’t ella/kit? :PFavourite friendships: kit/captainFavourite family: kit and the king!Favourite episodes: I am gonna translate this to favorite moment: forever the moment when kit reveals himself to be the prince and not a guard/soldier when he hears ella’s singing at the end of the movie.Favourite season/book/movie: ok, I guess I’m also gonna translate this to favorite moment :P another one of my faves is when kit is crying by the king’s bed when he’s dying. it’s such a vulnerable, beautiful moment which shows a male character in a light few disney movies had done in the past. plus, richard’s acting is a+++ in that scene. Favourite quotes: “kindness is free. love is free.” - ella // “just because it’s what’s done doesn’t mean it’s what should be done.” - ella // “we must simply have courage and be kind, mustn’t we?” - ella // “we need not look outside of our borders for strength or guidance. what we need is right before us.” - kit Best musical moment: probably the dancing scene, everything about it is perfect. as well as the scene after ella’s dress has been ruined and she runs to the garden. it’s such a powerful moment. I also like ella’s singing at the end of the movie.Moment that made you fangirl/boy the hardest: oh, again the moment where kit takes off his cloak and reveals his identity. I love that so much. but also the moment kit first appears, that just got me so good. When it really disappointed you: I don’t think anything about this perfect movie has ever disappointed me.Saddest moment: when ella finds out her father is dead, and when kit’s father dies. lots of death. Most well done character death: I think it’s gotta be ella’s mother. the build it up nicely and it’s very heartbreaking.Favourite guest star: I guess this means minor character. I think hayley atwell is quite good in her role. also derek jacobi, if he counts as a guest.Favourite cast member: richard madden, always! Character you wish was still alive: well, I think all the deaths actually worked very well into the story, but I’m gonna say the king, since he doesn’t die in the original. One thing you hope really happens: I want a sequel/prequel about kit when he’s at war and how he becomes the person he is in the movie. this is based on the rumor of a prince charming movie happening. if they don’t do it about kit, don’t do it at all. Most shocking twist: I love this movie to bits, but it’s not very shocking. I guess, again, when kit reveals his identity? I keep talking about this scene. When did you start watching/reading?: I got into it the moment it was first announced, and I watched it in the theatres the day it came out march 2015. Best animal/creature: it’s gotta be the mice, eh? Favourite location: the secret garden.Trope you wish they would stop using: I don’t mind anything they used, but I guess it would have been okay if absolutely everyone had not been obsessed with ella when they saw her at the ball. she deserves it, it’s her moment, but it’s still a little bit of an unlikely scenario, no matter who it’s about. One thing this show/book/film does better than others: this movie does everything better than any other movie. but to name one thing: it is a remake of a classic and it does it wonderfully. it keeps true to the original, but it also adds something to it to make it worth watching as its own thing. that says a lot when you compare it to other recent disney remakes.Funniest moments: honestly, the stepsisters are pretty funny when they’re not tormenting ella. I also love the kit/king dynamics when they’re being playful around each other.Couple you would like to see: I think I saw everything I wanted to see, but it would have been nice to see a love interest for the captain, for example.Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: well, I mean, since the movie’s already done… I guess I would have really liked to see sean bean as the king because robb/ned feels, but derek jacobi did a fantastic job, no complaints.Favourite outfit: ella’s wedding dress and her blue ball gown. but all the costumes are perfect and oscar-worthy *sigh*Favourite item: it’s gotta be the glass slippers, right?Do you own anything related to this show/book/film?: yep, for sure. the dvd, the blu-ray, the book (two versions), four ella dolls (including the pop funko thingy), two kit dolls, a calendar, a keychain, a necklace… and ella’s dress… etc… I’m pretty much a loser, eh? What house/team/group/friendship group/family/race etc would you be in?: I would love to be related to ella, it would be an honor. Most boring plotline: nothing. absolutely nothing. Most laughably bad moment: nothing! Best flashback/flashfoward if any: well, I guess the time jump after ella’s mom’s death was done really well. Most layered character: probably kit, actually. I know I’m being biased, but he definitely shows he’s more than a cheerful, social prince who is charming. he’s been to war, he can be serious, he can be sensitive, and he can easily relate to other people and how they’re feeling. praise this babe. Most one dimensional character: well, the grand duke and the stepsisters, but they served their purpose.Scariest moment: I love this movie, but it ain’t scary.Grossest moment: and it ain’t gross, either.Best looking male: prince kit, always. Best looking female: ella sure is pretty.Who you’re crushing on (if any): kit. richard. my man. always.Favourite cast moment: any cast moment, honestly. I love the dynamic between the cast members, especially lily and richard!Favourite transportation: oh, the pumpkin carriage! Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise): the secret garden, as well as the snowy mountains.Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you: well, it does kinda confuse me how the glass slipper doesn’t disappear along with everything else, but I believe there’s an explanation for that somewhere.Best promo: all the promo they did for this movie is fantastic. At what point did you fall in love with this show/book: the minute I heard it was being made. I called it my favorite movie before it even released, and I was right.
I decided to do disney, too, only animated movies:
Top 5 favourite characters: cinderella, rapunzel, snow white, anna, quasimodoOther characters you like: I like a lot of disney characters, but to name a few, flynn, piglet, aurora, pocahontas, king arthur (if only on principle), merida.Least favourite characters: well, I don’t really hate anyone, but I guess I don’t like lady tremaine, the evil queen or some of the other villains.Otps: cinderella/charming, rapunzel/flynnNotps: I really have none.Favourite friendships: I guess anna and elsa are sweet, and I also like piglet and pooh, of course. all friendships are cute.Favourite family: hmm, I guess I like the incredibles family, and the lilo and stitch crew (my terms are on point)Favourite episodes: I guess favorite movie? cinderella!Favourite season/book/movie: another favorite movie? my second fave is tangled.Favourite quotes: “some people care too much. I think it’s called love.” - winnie the pooh // “if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.” - cinderella // “you think the only people who are people are the people who look and think like you.” - pocahontas // “don’t just fly. soar.” - dumboBest musical moment: that would probably have to be “I see the light” from tangled. or “god help the outcasts” from the hunchback of notre dame.Moment that made you fangirl/boy the hardest: hmm, I don’t know. maybe when cinderella gets her dress. When it really disappointed you: I can’t say I was the hugest fan of frozen. don’t get me wrong, I like it just fine. but I don’t understand why it’s seen as the best of the best of the best.Saddest moment: basically every scene in the hunchback of notre dame. Most well done character death: probably mufasa in the lion king.Favourite guest star: like a guest voice actor? umm… ok, for reals, I couldn’t think of anyone. they’re all perfectly fine.Favourite cast member: kristen bell for sure, love her! and zachary levi. Character you wish was still alive: I think all the deaths were done well and for good reason, but maybe ariel’s mothe? she could realllyyy have used someone to talk to, and for someone to give her some much-needed advice. One thing you hope really happens: they make a movie based on the nutcracker. kinda like the barbie one. it’s mighty good. and I know there’s some liveaction coming about it, but no.Most shocking twist: I guess hans being a villain was surprising when it first happened? When did you start watching/reading?: when I was very, very tiny. maybe like 2 or 3.Best animal/creature: probably the mice in cinderella, and every creature in winnie the pooh.Favourite location: everything from cinderella, and everything from frozen.Trope you wish they would stop using: they could try making a male and female protagonists (who are approximately the same age and likely love interests to each other) just friends. I know they’ve done it a few times before, but more often than not they always end up getting together. even in frozen, which wasn’t supposed to be about romance. don’t get me wrong, I love romance. but they could try that. One thing this show/book/film does better than others: I think disney is pretty good at making engaging stories that entertain both adults and kids. that’s a balance not everyone can manage.Funniest moments: I think a lot of stuff in the emperor’s new groove is hilarious.Couple you would like to see: well, I guess the couple from the nutcracker, since I said I wanted that.Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: richard madden’s voice is perfect, so naturally his voice-acting would also be perfect. also I do feel obligated to say ray chase, because he’s a very good voice actor. though seeing him in disney would be a bit odd. Favourite outfit: cinderella’s ballgown! Favourite item: the glass slippers for sure.Do you own anything related to this show/book/film?: yeah! I have a few funko pop dolls (cinderella and rapunzel), some other random items like notebooks etc, and various dvds and such. What house/team/group/friendship group/family/race etc would you be in?: I would like to be related to cinderella, or rapunzel. Most boring plotline: I can’t say I’m too fond of some of the movies with animal protagonists, like the aristocats. Most laughably bad moment: I can’t think of anything that’s this bad, but I’m sure there are moments that fit.Best flashback/flashfoward if any: I like how they did the time skip in frozen. Most layered character: probably someone like mulan or elsa, but I think a lot of the characters are well-layered.Most one dimensional character: some of the villains, like the evil queen.Scariest moment: when the evil queen does anything in snow white.Grossest moment: I remember there are gross moments in some of the movies, but I cannot, for the life of me, remember any specific one. maybe ursula and those sea creatures of hers, those who used to be human? Best looking male: I…? I guess I’m gonna say prince charming for the simple fact that he is actually richard madden in my eyes.Best looking female: actually, probably aurora, even though cinderella’s my fave.Who you’re crushing on (if any): none.Favourite cast moment: I don’t really know, but I think the relationship between kristen bell and idina menzel is nice.Favourite transportation: the pumpkin carriage! Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise): the whole transformation/ball/aftermath sequence in cinderella.Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you: I am kind of curious about the whole theory of elsa, anna and rapunzel being related. I mean, why not? Best promo: I think all the promo they do is pretty good.At what point did you fall in love with this show/book: I probably fell in love with this franchise when I was very small, and I never stopped being interested in it.
medici: masters of florence:
Top 5 favourite characters: cosimo (my baby!!), lorenzo, lucrezia, marco bello and brunelleschi. Other characters you like: hmm… uuh… maybe piero, ugo and guadagni? there are not that many characters on the show, after all.Least favourite characters: sorry, but contessina. I just cannot with her. I can’t. Otps: lucrezia/piero and absolutely no one else.Notps: basically any cosimo ship that was canon, but mostly contessina/cosimo and cosimo/maddalena. I was very disappointed with the ships on this show. Favourite friendships: cosimo/lorenzo, cosimo/brunelleschi and cosimo/marco. Favourite family: well, the medici’s! Favourite episodes: I really love the first two episodes, but they’re all very good.Favourite season/book/movie: I guess I can say season 1 since season 2 is coming out? definitely season 1, if not for anything else then for my richard bias. Favourite quotes: “everything I have ever done has been for florence. for you. for the greater glory of god.” - cosimo // “you give me an education. you expose me to great beauty. and then insist I spend my life devoted to money and politics.” - cosimo // “if the medici are to shape history, we must live beyond our lifetimes. the whole tree does not die because one branch falls.” - cosimoBest musical moment: so many moments, but I think the moment when cosimo finds out that lorenzo’s dead in 1x08 is the number one pick.Moment that made you fangirl/boy the hardest: any moment with richard, for sure, but I was so happy to see some of his different acting styles on the show, particularly in the later episodes, like when he confronts the pope in 1x08.When it really disappointed you: I guess I am never, ever gonna be ok with cheating plotlines, and I was also not ok with how bad the show made cosimo look just for contessina’s sake. like it was purposely trying to make the fandom hate one and love the other. and it sure worked *sigh* Saddest moment: when lorenzo dies and cosimo’s reaction to it.Most well done character death: again, I think lorenzo’s death was done very well.Favourite guest star: I thought brunelleschi was a hilarious character.Favourite cast member: richard madden, always!Character you wish was still alive: lorenzo, he didn’t deserve to die.One thing you hope really happens: I hope that at some point they bring richard’s character back, if only in flashbacks, as we actually get to see him happy for a bit. Most shocking twist: once again, lorenzo dying. and ugo being the killer was pretty surprising. When did you start watching/reading?: the moment it first aired. Best animal/creature: I do love the horses.Favourite location: anything in florenze, to be honest.Trope you wish they would stop using: badass female character who needs no man and is sassier, smarter and more powerful than anyone else. really doesn’t work for me. there should be some humanity in there too. One thing this show/book/film does better than others: I know this has been done before, but I think cosimo’s character and his multiple layers were done so wonderfully.Funniest moments: hmm, I think any moment with cosimo and lorenzo goofing around in rome in the first episode.Couple you would like to see: cosimo/happiness, actual happiness. impossible, I know.Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: hmm, well, I am gonna go with rebecca ferguson again cause she’s so good. and my girl lily james.Favourite outfit: cosimo’s outfit in 1x01, in the flashbacks.Favourite item: cosimo’s sketch book, just cause I love watching him draw.Do you own anything related to this show/book/film?: sadly just the dvd and some posters, there isn’t much merchandise for it.What house/team/group/friendship group/family/race etc would you be in?: well, again, I would like to be a medici, but not related to cosimo. Most boring plotline: contessina and her fling with her old love interest. why? Most laughably bad moment: none, really.Best flashback/flashfoward if any: all the flashbacks/forwards between older and younger cosimo were fantastic and gave much depth to his character. Most layered character: cosimo, in every way. he has his cold side, but he also has his soft side and richard did a fantastic job at displaying all of it.Most one dimensional character: none are really that one-dimensional, but I guess bianca really didn’t serve any purpose.Scariest moment: none.Grossest moment: hmm, I guess some of the scenes with blood but nothing was too bad? Best looking male: richard madden. cosimo. my baby.Best looking female: um, maybe bianca or lucrezia? I don’t know.Who you’re crushing on (if any): cosimo for sure!! Favourite cast moment: I really liked the premiere in the fall of 2016, the cast seems to get along well and richard looked fantastic (as always).Favourite transportation: horses. Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise): anything in florenze.Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you: I think basically nothing was really left unanswered. I suppose there was some ambiguity in how much of a part cosimo had in rinaldo’s death, though.Best promo: I really like the promo pics, everything’s good.At what point did you fall in love with this show/book: the minute it aired.
the white queen/princess:
Top 5 favourite characters: elizabeth woodville, henry tudor, elizabeth of york, isabel neville and maybe anne neville.Other characters you like: I like all of elizabeth’s kids, her mother, and edward was sometimes okay. Least favourite characters: I didn’t like richard iii too much, or margaret beaufort. Otps: henry/elizabeth, edward/elizabeth and jacquette/richard mainly due to the book written about them, set before twq. Notps: richard/elizabeth. why. Favourite friendships: isabel/anne.Favourite family: I guess the tudors.Favourite episodes: I really like the later episodes, with the exception of the unnecessary elizabeth/richard romance.Favourite season/book/movie: my favorite season is season 1, as opposed to the white princess, because I never did get to see it.Favourite quotes: “do not doubt my courage. I am match for any man.” - elizabeth woodville // “you are what sustains me in battle. you are my home.” - edward // “she has done her worst. and look at us. we’re still here.” - henry/elizabeth // “how can I prove to you that I am with you except to ask you not to die?” - elizabeth of yorkBest musical moment: I think the music in the last episode is very good.Moment that made you fangirl/boy the hardest: honestly I am gonna say any henry/elizabeth moment, even in twp even though I’ve not seen it. I love these two and ship them despite not seeing it. but I did read the book so that’s something. When it really disappointed you: richard/elizabeth. Saddest moment: I think edward’s death was really sad if only for elizabeth’s sake. Most well done character death: I think that richard’s death was built up quite well, we all knew someone was gonna die (and those who knew history knew who was gonna die), and it was done well.Favourite guest star: I don’t know who counts, so I’m gonna say freya mavor and michael marcus.Favourite cast member: rebecca ferguson, my girl! Character you wish was still alive: maybe richard (I mean elizabeth woodville’s father) cause he and jacquetta gave me all the feels in their book. One thing you hope really happens: they release twp somewhere where I can actually watch it?Most shocking twist: that they actually went there with richard/elizabeth.When did you start watching/reading?: maybe in 2015…? I really can’t be sure.Best animal/creature: I do love the horses.Favourite location: I do like the woodville manor.Trope you wish they would stop using: maybe the men being horrible pigs and the women trying to deal with that? I feel like almost all the men on the show were just the worst. One thing this show/book/film does better than others: I don’t know. I guess some of the characters were portrayed in a nice, human way, and the ships were pretty nice.Funniest moments: some moments between the plantagenet brothers.Couple you would like to see: a prequel series about richard and jacquetta.Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: there’s never enough richard madden in the world.Favourite outfit: elizabeth (woodville’s) blue dress.Favourite item: elizabeth (woodville’s) ringDo you own anything related to this show/book/film?: just the books and the first seasonWhat house/team/group/friendship group/family/race etc would you be in?: probably the woodville famMost boring plotline: richard and elizabethMost laughably bad moment: anything with richard and elizabethBest flashback/flashfoward if any: the flashforward when henry and elizabeth are suddenly adults was unexpected, but welcome. Most layered character: probably elizabeth woodville if not for any other reason, then because she was the most focused-on character. and rebecca brought great depth to her. Most one dimensional character: probably some of the people like edward’s mother.Scariest moment: none.Grossest moment: the final battle in 1x10.Best looking male: oh god, I don’t know. maybe henry in twp cause he looks slightly like richard.Best looking female: elizabeth woodville for sure.Who you’re crushing on (if any): none.Favourite cast moment: I like any of the cast moments, but I’ve not seen many.Favourite transportation: horses. Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise): all the forests and water areas are so gorgeous, especially in the first episode.Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you: well, there are many plot confusions, but nothing particular. Best promo: I like the promo pic with elizabeth holding the sword in her hand.At what point did you fall in love with this show/book: when I first saw it, and started reading it.
star wars:
Top 5 favourite characters: luke skywalker, leia organa, obi-wan kenobi, qui-gon jinn, yoda.Other characters you like: rey, poe dameron, finn, padme amidala.Least favourite characters: I don’t hate anyone, but the emperor sure sucked. I also don’t get the kylo ren hype.Otps: to be quite honest? none. but to say something, I guess rey/finn and padme/anakin (idk, man).Notps: kylo/rey.Favourite friendships: han/luke, obi-wan/anakin, finn/poe.Favourite family: the skywalkersFavourite episodes: I’m gonna take this as favorite generation (originals, prequels, sequels). that would be the originals.Favourite season/book/movie: the return of the jedi.Favourite quotes: “I am a jedi, like my father before me.” - luke // “no one’s ever really gone.” - luke // “hope is like the sun. if you only believe in it when you can see it, you’ll never make it through the night.” - leia // “so this is how liberty dies. with thunderous applause.” - padmeBest musical moment: the moment when luke is gazing at the sunset in a new hope, as well as in the last jedi. the feels. Moment that made you fangirl/boy the hardest: luke coming to everyone’s rescue in the last jedi. When it really disappointed you: the obsession with kylo/rey, as well as some of the political plotlines in the prequels. Saddest moment: luke’s death, I think. though it was kinda bittersweet. Most well done character death: again, luke’s death, but also anakin’s.Favourite guest star: gwendoline christie.Favourite cast member: liam neeson.Character you wish was still alive: luke because what the heck is the next movie gonna have, then? I know it’s still gonna be good but with all of the original cast gone…One thing you hope really happens: kylo redeems himself without becoming a love interest for rey, everyone saves everyone, and they live happily ever after with rey training new jedis. also luke coming back as a force ghost to make bad puns. Most shocking twist: I don’t know, maybe luke dying. When did you start watching/reading?: when I was a tiny kid. maybe 4 or 5. Best animal/creature: well, it does say creature… r2-d2Favourite location: hoth and naboo.Trope you wish they would stop using: the good guy turned villain who is gonna be redeemed at the very last second (ironically, I also wrote that as what I wanted to happen). One thing this show/book/film does better than others: they really give a very good sci-fi adventure which doesn’t seem too hard for anyone to understand, and can interest both adults and children.Funniest moments: I actually really liked the comedic luke/rey moments in the last jedi.Couple you would like to see: I kind of like the idea of poe and rey.Actor/Actress you want to join the cast: there’s never enough richard madden. plus, he loves sci-fi.Favourite outfit: padme had some gorgeous costumes, especially all her blue clothes. Favourite item: luke’s blue and green lightsabers.Do you own anything related to this show/book/film?: just the dvds, really. and a star wars lunch box. funnily enough. What house/team/group/friendship group/family/race etc would you be in?: I would like to be a skywalker, but I’d probably be bad at it.Most boring plotline: well, the political plotlines in the prequels. Most laughably bad moment: some of the very wooden moments in the prequels.Best flashback/flashfoward if any: I guess I like the flashback they did in the last jedi to what exactly happened between kylo and luke. Most layered character: probably someone like leia, or maybe even anakin to an extent. Most one dimensional character: some of the villains, like count dooku (is that really how you spell it?).Scariest moment: I really, really found darth maul scary as a kid.Grossest moment: the whole opening-up-the-creature to keep luke warm in the empire strikes back (my terms are on point again)Best looking male: idk, man. poe?Best looking female: probably padme.Who you’re crushing on (if any): none.Favourite cast moment: anything with daisy and mark.Favourite transportation: the falcon. Most beautiful scene (scenery/shot wise): hoth.Unanswered question/continuity issue/plot error that bugs you: well, I mean, rey’s parents. that is the one thing I didn’t really like how they explained in the last jedi.Best promo: all the promo stuff is nice.At what point did you fall in love with this show/book: as a child when I saw the original movies.
