I kind of headcanon that Glitch Techs are usually paired into duos whenever they’re on patrol or hunting down a glitch for a variety of reasons (safety when fighting glitches, the ability to pair a new tech with someone more experienced, etc) and only usually group up into larger teams of three or four when something big happens like a powerful glitch or a large amount of glitches in a relatively small area.

And while thinking about that my mind drifted to the actual tech duos you have in the show.

Because you have…

Miko and Five: Regularly get out of messes (about half of which are accidentally made by them) by making a larger mess that cancels the first one out.

Bergy and Nix: I could make a full post about how i headcanon and write these two. Also I kind of did but I mean another one that’s more in detail and mostly just my headcanons about Nix and Bergy.

Mitch on his own: Either throwing himself at the toughest glitch in the area because his name is Mitch “Nah, I’d win” Williams, or stealing kills from everyone else. There is no in between. (He’s counted as a duo on his own because A: He’s about as powerful enough to count as one on his own and B: We haven’t been able to assign a teammate to him because he prefers working alone, there’s an odd number of techs and also because no one else can stand him.)

Zahra and Haneesh: The closest thing the Bailley store has to a functional duo, and they’re both support classes.
