soooo some of you wanted me to post my skincare routine and i didn’t forget i just had to clean my bathroom lmao.
everything here is linked to amazon but available on yesstyle.com and elsewhere!! everything is mostly under $20 or it comes in a BIG size so it’s worth your money. none of these had fragrance or alcohols except the oil cleanser has fragrance at the end of the ingredients list (it is being washed off, you should be fine) and the sunscreen (it doesn’t have drying alcohols, it’s moisturizing but doesn’t leave a film)
combo/ sensitive skin!!
i cleanse with (not pictured)
-the face shop rice bright light cleansing oil
-purito barrier defense ph cleanser
exfoliate every 2-3 days with one of these
-benton aloe bha skin toner
-the ordinary azeleic acid suspension 10%
-the ordinary lactic acid 5% + HA (not pictured bc it went bad and it’s not my fav)
serums
-purito niacin 97 power essence
-nacific phyto niacin (not pictured, i like purito a little better)
toners/ essences
-laneige cream skin refiner 😍
she is so moisturizing and hydrating in a balancing way
moisturizer
-purito oat-in intense cream
sunscreen
-skin1004 madagascar centella spf 50+ pa++++
the most important steps to a skincare routine is a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen. if you have other concerns like discoloration or hyperpigmentation or dehydration (me) you can add serums/ ampoules, toners/ essences, and maybe an eye cream (useless imo) to bolster your routine.
#lmk if u need recs#i have post inflammatory erythema#i also have freckles but not really if i’m consistent.#i have pale skin#but the sunscreen shouldn’t leave a white cast!!#combo sensitive skin#skincare

Empties #12 (October 28, 2019)
Creamsilk Hydrafresh conditioner for Limp & Flat hair- I think this is my favorite of the 2 variants
Laline hand cream- gifted by a friend when she went to New York last year. Love this but not available locally
BBW Honolulu Sun hand cream- Bought this 2-3 years ago. Took a while to finish because I have a lot of hand lotions. Smell reminds me of the beach
Celeteque Hydration facial moisturizer- Got this for my pro kit but ended up testing and using it. Will repurchase for my kit
Benton Fermentation eye cream- A K-beauty product that’s a bit so-so. I mean, it didn’t make my lines worse
Dr. Sensitive Acne Clearing Pads- I don’t know what to make of this. It didn’t really clear my acne overnight or at all. But maybe good for a daily AHA toner?
Tony Moly 7 Days Perfect Tattoo Eyebrow pen- Love this! Purchased this last June in Korea. I hope it’s available here
Hotel lotion and conditioner
Colourette Colourtint in Piper- Love this line! Piper is a bit too pink for me. And I’m having a hard time shaking this already
Ilog Maria Lip balm- I’m not gonna finish this. It dries my lips!

Review of Benton’s Fermentation Mask Pack
Benton is a Korean natural skincare brand that focuses on restoring skin back to a healthy state by the use of natural and healthy ingredients in their products. Their Fermentation Mask Pack is a premium boosting mask pack that contains high-grade fermentation ingredients which due to their nature are more easily absorbed into the skin. Key ingredients include: galactomyces ferment filtrate (naturally extracted from fermented rice, moisturizing, antioxidant, healing, anti-aging, nourishing, clears dull skin tone), bifida ferment filtrate (sourced from yogurt, helps redness, anti-aging, a source of good bacteria, anti-acne, hydrating, anti-inflammatory, exfoliating, nourishing, moisturizing, brightening, improves elasticity, boosts skin immunity), lactobacillus/collagen ferment filtrate (fermentation helps the skin to better absorb collagen, improves skin elasticity, promotes skin health, strengthens the skins moisture barrier, balances skins pH level), acetyl hexapeptide-8 (it’s created from a protein in botox; anti-aging, anti-wrinkle) and adenosine (anti-aging, promotes collagen and elastin production, anti-wrinkle). This product retails for between $2-3 USD, you can get it here for (will include a link when it's available).
Ingredients
Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Water, Lactobacillus/Collagen Ferment Filtrate, Glycerin, Propanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Bifida Ferment Lysate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ceramide NP, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Althaea Rosea (Hollyhock) Root Extract, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1, Betaine, Panthenol, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Zanthoxylum Piperitum (Japanese Pepper) Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Adenosine, Carbomer, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Arginine
I received this from Benton Cosmetics for my honest review, this post is not sponsored.
This mask contains 20 grams (0.70 oz) and has no added artificial fragrance.
The sheet mask is designed as an eco-friendly option made of cotton and cellulose. It’s a naturally derived mask that contains high content essence with excellent absorption that allows it to adhere nicely to the skin and to deliver active ingredients effectively.
The sheet mask is very soft and thin and the fit is very good, the eyes, nose and mouth holes all fit comfortably.
Recommended use is after cleansing, prep the skin with toner and then open the mask and smooth it onto the face. After 10-20 minutes remove the mask and pat leftover essence gently into the skin. If you use all of their fermentation products use as follows: essence, this mask and then their eye cream. Pro tips include keeping the mask in the fridge for a more cooling feeling, shrinking the pores and refreshing the skin. Shake your mask pack before opening if you store it upright so all of the essence can spread evenly because it typically falls to the bottom. It's better to use a steam towel to lightly steam your face or wash it with warm water to open the pores before use. Mask use should not exceed the recommended time because as the mask dries it can sap the moisture from your skin. Using a cream after using the mask will protect your skin's moisture and nutrition supplied by the mask will last longer when protected by the cream oil-water barrier.
This mask has many great functions including providing intensive elasticity and nutrition to your skin due to 3 main ingredients, galactomyces ferment filtrate, bifida ferment lysate, and lactobacillus/collagen ferment filtrate. The fermentation process increases the density and absorption of the main active ingredients to improve the skin's elastic glow and deepens the skin's improvement synergy. The mask is skin-friendly, has great adhesion and is smooth and holds the essence very effectively. The mask has the excellent ability to hold most of the essence included in the pouch. It adheres smoothly without slipping or lifting and immediately delivers moisture and nutrition to the skin. It also has a very strong wrinkle care function.
After using, I found all of the above claims to be very true for the most part. This mask really helped to deeply moisturize and was very nourishing. The sheet mask is comfortable and soft and holds a lot of essence without dripping everywhere and helps to brighten and plump the skin up. The ingredients are ideal and I wouldn't expect anything less from Benton products. The wrinkle improvement is something that will take time and can't be easily noticed after a couple of uses so I hope to see improvement in the future. The mask also really adheres were without slipping or lifting and it's comfortably thin and not too heavy and it doesn't dry out too quickly. I'd recommend this to anyone with dry and sensitive skin, saggy skin with fine lines and wrinkles, dull skin, dry skin that leaves the skin feeling tight, skin with uneven oil-water balance and skin sensitive to chemicals in the ingredients.
What I like: I appreciate how well this mask moisturizes the skin and the quality of the ingredients and the sheet mask as a whole. It's comfortable and there's no added fragrance and it's ideal for sensitive skin which I have. It's great aging skin as well and the effects are long-lasting and my skin felt smooth and soft for 12 hours afterward. What I don't like: I really couldn't find any problems with this mask, I think it's great for anyone.
Pros:
Moisturizing
Hydrating
Anti-aging
Anti-wrinkle
Nourishing
Great ingredients
Fragrance-free
Great for sensitive skin
Soft
Comfortable
Cons:
None
Would I buy this?
Yes
Rating: 10/10

Updated as of 02/28/2019.
These are products I have not yet purchased, but I am highly interested in, and may or may not purchase, depending upon funds.
Oil Cleansers; Jullai Super 112 Bounce Cleansing Oil
Cleansers; Secret Nature Volcanic Ash Cleansing Water, Blithe's Anti-Polluaging Himalayan Pink Salt Cleansing Water, BENTON Tea Tree Cleansing Water, By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash, Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Gentle-cleanser
Toners; Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner, ACWELL Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner, I'm from Rice Toner, BONAJOUR Green Tea Water Bomb Toner, BONAJOUR Eggplant Daily BHA Toner
Mists; Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist, KLAIRS Supple Preparation Facial Toner
Masks; MANEFIT Natural Gift Green Tea Pore Care Sheet Mask, I'm From Series (Mugwort, Honey, Vitamin), Skinfood series (Egg White Pore, Freshmade Watermelon), Isntree Real Rose Calming Mask
Essences; NEOGEN Real Ferment Micro Essence, ATRUE Real Black Tea True Active Essence,
Ampoules; Yuripibu's Amaid Ampoule
Eye Creams; MISSHA MISA Geum Sul Giyoun Eye Cream, ERBORIAN Seve de Bamboo Eye Matte
Eye Masks; Secret Key Gold Racoony Hydrogel Series Eye & Spot Patch Set (Gold, Marine, Rose)

Lip Masks; KLAVUU Nourishing Care Lip Sleeping Pack

Lip Blams; HOLIKA HOLIKA Good Cera Super Ceramide Lip Oil Stick, innisfree Green Tea Lip Balm, innisfree Canola Honey Lip Balm
Currently researching DECIEM products because I really want to add them to my routine. But this is what I got thus far. The site is just SO confusing, with all the fancy names and ingredients.
NIOD is also a money pit, so once you dive into one product, I am sure you get the urge to get the whole lot. It is very much an investment, and will take me a long time to save for a bulk order (since they sell sets), or one at a time, while crying that I want the rest.
Hylamide;
SubQ Eyes; I have some serious dark eye circles, so I am always willing to try something to minimize this, and this looks interesting. I am slightly more interested in the NIOD version, but because of the pricing, would try this one first, unless I am feeling funds ballsy and jump into the other one first.
NIOD;
Copper Amino Isolate Serum; From reviews, this is supposed to be one of the best selling products from this line and concentrates on your overall skin's health. I confused it for the harmful copper, but this is supposed to be different, so after some research, I am more excited to try it.
Multi Molecular Hyaluronic Complex; I am assuming this contains the same ingredients as the Marine Hyaluronic and Hyaluronic Complex with B5 from my Google research, just into one bottle. May be worth purchasing this to bulk them together, instead of individual bottles. Seems to offer more benefit, even with the price tag, seems more cost effective in the long run. Since I seem to do fine with the MH, I will be replacing it with this, when I am done with the bottle. I can’t wait!
Modulating Glucosides; I have issues with sensitivity, irritation and itchiness, so this product seems interesting to help with those issues.
Flavanone Mud & Myrrh Clay & Mastic Must & Voicemail Masque; Fancy masks are fancy.
Lip Bio-Lipid Concentrate; Looks like some serious lip oil treatment, and I do have some majorly chapped lips, despite my heavy water drinking. It may be because I am on diuretics.
Low-Viscosity Cleaning Ester and Sanskrit Saponins; Having released there own version of the double cleanse, I may give this a try - only if I have extra funds, and I am not enjoying my current routine.
Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid 30% Network; I am still confused about Vitamin C, and wonder if this is quite different, can use at same time, better, or worse then what I am using now, which is the COSRX Typle C Lightning Liquid.
Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate; May be an upgrade from the SubQ Eyes, and honestly, for the price, it better raise Jebus. If the other doesn't work, I may be desperate enough to attempt this one for my dark circles.
Non-Acid Acid Precursor 15%; Supposed to be an alternative to peeling without using acid. I am still up in the air about trying this one out, because I am afraid of trying the more serious peels.
Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist; Looks like a good, antibacterial, inflammation, hydrating mist. I was thinking of removing mists from my routine, since I can’t mist throughout the day because of sunscreen, but this actually looks like it would be more beneficial in conjunction with all the other products, even if used once during your regular routine.
Re: Pigment; This has mixed reviews and is quite pricey, but I heard good things about this particular line and would be willing to give it a shot, as I suffer from a lot of hyperpigmentation.
Chemistry Brand;
Hand Chemistry, Extreme Hydration Concentrate, Heel Chemistry, Hyaluronic Concentrate, HA3 Hand Hydrator, Retin-Oil;
The hydrating hand and body oils seem to be the only interest for me in this line. I suffer from severe dry hands during the winter that can lead to Dyshidrosis, if I don't treat it properly. I often break out two times a year in the winter with this. Otherwise, I never had any issues with body/hand dryness. So I may opt for these products during the winter. I do suffer from hyperpigmentation from acne scarring on my back, and other parts of the body from scarring (I did a lot of rescue work for cats). I feel the Retin-Oil may help with this - but honestly, I am a big tattoo buff, so everything for me will eventually be covered by tats, so I never really invested in body care in terms of visual appeal. I just use regular ole black african soap lotion, and or Gold Bond for Excema, worked just fine to help with any pain for dryness.
As for their “reduce hair” line - I would never be interested in that (face, leg, arm pits). I was born with lucky genes I guess - which is quite odd, because all of my female Filipino relatives had insane body hair. But me... never had that much hair growth in the first place. Then I was placed on Spironolactone, and that almost obliterated the little growth I did have. I am talking about, I can go six months without shaving my legs, and it looks like I haven’t shaved in two days - very minor hair growth!
Fountain; I honestly don't take supplements, I only recently decided to do a multi-vitamin and take zinc for my acne. I also do Kachava shakes, and that has a lot of good protein.
AB Crew; This honestly just overall confused me and I don't think I would use any of these products. Though the AB Carving Gel and Shredding Oil look interesting if you wanna strut your stuff along the water. I do have issues with cellulite and stretch marks, but I feel their aren't any topical products that could ever correct this issue, you would have to get it surgically done. Many products claim to rid these, but it is just not possible without a professional. I am sure with long term use, you can diminish it - as I tried to do once with coconut oil when it was all the rage - but I never saw much difference, even after a few years - I used pure virgin coconut oil as well.

🧖🏾♀️Back at it again with the #kbeauty gold!✨ Some new products I've added to my rotation that are elevating my skin to the Nth degree. Make sure you research what ingredients can and can't mix before trying a bunch of these! Scroll for my take on how dope these products are. . Benton Fermentation Eye Cream made me realize how much my previous eye cream wasn't doing it for me. I've never woken up with moisturized eyes before this. . TO Salicylic Acid 2% Solution is the basic thing you need to target breakouts. Saw immediate changes with this and it helps prevent breakouts too. . TO Lactic Acid 5% with HA is so smart for combing an AHA and hyaluronic acid. It does the hard work a chemical exfoliant should making skin smooth, brighter and clearer while drawing moisture in and keeping irritation away. . TO Granactive Retinoid Emulsion 2% I can literally write a blog post about. I was nervous to try it because retinol can be tricky, but I swear I don't what I'll do without it now! The emulsion formula keeps it calming and moisturizing and the results in the morning are insane! I'm talking baby smooth insane. Dark spots are fading in double time in front of my eyes. Also always use sunscreen! (You should be using it anyway.) . Banilla Co Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm is in a new formula and packaging and it's awesome. Does a great job cleaning that first oil or makeup layer and smells like it has wholesome ingredients now. . Neogen Real Cica Pads are such gentle exfoliating pads w centella asciatica which is a big star when it comes to healing breakouts. Super easy to use. . Neogen Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser is loaded with great ingredients. It's a fun quick mask that bubbles up and gets tingly on your face but really pulls out your gunk and gives you smooth, clear skin the next morning. . White Rabbit Cotton Pads are ridiculously soft and sweep across your skin so gently. The are folded and open up so you can soak a few in toner or essence and use that as a sheet mask too. You get 200 in a box for around $10. Not bad! @sokoglam @neogen_global @deciem #sokoglam #onlygoodskindaysahead #skincare #skinthirsty #melanin #koreanskincare #future #natural https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn2bnhinMGn/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=134sskjx1bzvg

Part 1/2 of my @bentoncosmetic experience 🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍃🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂 Trying out products from a single brand is not something that I would do usually as I am always adding new products one by one to my existing routine. But, I trust Korean skincare the most. None of the Korean skincare products broke me out or my skin purged. So, I took a deep dive with @bentoncosmetic thanks to @stylekorean_global for choosing me as part of their #TryMeReviewMe campaign. Coming to the products. I wish I wrote a blog post and not an insta post to describe my experience - hint(the coming next week) Benton Honest Cleansing Foam I always liked a foamy cleanser when my skin feels oily and the gel/non-foamy wash when I felt my skin was dry. I am a changed person now, I would always use this any day. The reason being, it does thoroughly cleanses my skin and at the same time, it didn't make my skin dry. Aloe BHA Skin Toner I have never thought a BHA solution will be made out of Aloe. Well, I am surprised. This worked wonders on my blackheads and overall texture of my skin. However, I am not into using BHA every day so, I only use it on alternating days. Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel I used this as a toning lotion. Aloe vera is known to calm the skin and locks the pores. I liked the subtle scent and this immediately moisturized my skin. Snail Bee High Content Essence I already had this one prior to receiving it from @stylekorean_global. I always loved it and it provides hydration and treats my fine lines and post-acne marks. Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream This is something that I was totally excited about. I am almost out of it and I am planning to get the 50gm of this product. I use this cream as part of my nighttime skincare routine. I wake up with the most hydrated skin and the skin feels very soft to touch. Fermentation Eye Cream I have been using this eye cream since last year and I love how hydrated my under-eye area feels. Definitely a must-have for someone with fine lines. Also, the makeup won't crease with this product which is a huge plus. @stylekorean_kr @stylekorean_global @bentoncosmetic_kr @bentoncosmetic (at Omaha, Nebraska) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFlEdevMwvg/?igshid=1po1oya7zge78
