This ones pretty straightforward, i didnt really have any ideas for him design wise hes just bigger and kinda old looking i didnt really do much

Ben, as Terraspin, takes Robyn’s hand.

A small bulb under his sleeve makes his hand glow green.

“Fuck your mom? Yes, I did.”

Terraspin’s species is immune to mana attacks! This was brought up one time, by Aggregor of all people, and then never utilised by Ben even against his greatest mana-wielding foes. Kinda dumb.

I like to imagine it makes him immune to outside effects of Semblances since Aura = Mana. Outside effects as in Weiss glyphs, Robyn’s truth touch, Qrow’s bad luck, etc. Inside effects are just being punched by Yang—her fist has nothing to do with Mana.

Headcanon is that the species just does not believe in magic SO HARD that it makes them immune to it. All fucking Geochelone Aerio just absolutely despise magic that much.

I think it’s pretty underrated that when making the Andromeda 5, they went Fire is pure radiation heat, Electricity is a jellyfish, Water is an oyster / barnacle, Earth is an armadillo / pangolin.

You’re nodding along. It’s pretty standard and straightforward. Nothing crazy.

Then for Air they make a giant turtle that turns into a fan. Because why not.

Does Jim get Terraspin?

How is he in that form, and what do the others think of his form?

He does! One of the residents in Arcadia is actually a Geochelone Aerio who been living amongst everyone via a DNA Mask. Jim didn't know until he accidentally bumps into said resident and knocked their mask off. (He does apologize while recommending Stuart should they experience any issues with their tech like the DNA Mask.)

Jim's Terraspin is sea green in color, wears blue Hawaiian Warrior attire but also has onyx Hawaiian tribal tattoos all across the shell, arms and ankles. You can say our boy has the attitude of a wise enlightened veteran but still got that classic gremlin energy.

Everyone thinks Terraspin is a delight especially for his calm aura than just the wind powers. Don't be surprised if you see AAARRRGGHH join this form in meditation or light sparring. Also Toby would definitely ride on Jim's back like Rook did in Omniverse.
