Domenico Bellizzi (1918–1989), also known under the pseudonym of Vorea Ujko, is among the most popular and respected of the Arbëresh poets.

Domenico Bellizzi was a modest priest from Frascineto in Calabria who taught modern literature in Firmo.

Bellizzi died in a car accident in January 1989.

Bellizzi's verse, a refined lyric expression of Arbëresh being, has appeared in many periodicals and anthologies and in seven collections, four of which were published in Italy, two in Albania and one in Kosovo.

Bellizzi is a poet of rich tradition. He is the worthy heir of the great nineteenth-century Arbëresh poets Girolamo De Rada (1814-1903) and Giuseppe Serembe (1844-1901), whom he admired very much.

His verse is intimately linked with the Arbëresh experience, imbued with the gjaku i shprishur (the scattered blood). Though devoid of the lingering sentiments of romantic nationalism so common in Albanian verse, and the standard motifs of exile lyrics, Bellizzi's poetry does not fail to evince the strength of his attachment to the culture of his Balkan ancestors despite five hundred years in the dheu i huaj (foreign land).

Asmel: aperte le candidature per le assunzioni in 550 comuni campani

Sono aperte fino al 25 giugno le candidature per il terzo maxi-avviso per la selezione di 37 elenchi di idonei alle assunzioni in 4.470 enti locali Asmel. L’avviso pubblicato sul portale InPA è finalizzato a creare e aggiornare le liste di 37 profili professionali per laureati, diplomati e operai specializzati. Asmel: l'elenco di idonei Elenco di idonei è una procedura introdotta nel 2021 dal DL Reclutamento e dà la possibilità agli enti locali di organizzare e gestire in forma aggregata selezioni uniche per la formazione di elenchi di idonei alle assunzioni a tempo indeterminato e determinato (anche stagionali), per vari profili e categorie professionali coprendo così tutti i fabbisogni degli Enti che aderiscono allo specifico accordo. È una modalità di reclutamento molto più veloce dei classici concorsi pubblici e dello scorrimento delle graduatorie di altri enti permettendo di finalizzare le assunzioni in sole 4-5 settimane, come testimoniato dai 740 enti soci Asmel che hanno adottato questa procedura già a partire dal 2022. Nel 2023 perfezionate 117.000 candidature provenienti da tutta Italia con il 60% dei candidati tra i 31 e i 40 anni. Sono stati già assunti 545 idonei e ulteriori 370 procedure finalizzate all’assunzione sono attualmente in corso. Quasi il 60% è assunto a tempo indeterminato e il 42% degli assunti ha meno di 35 anni. Come candidarsi Per il terzo maxi-avviso è possibile candidarsi ad uno o più profili tramite la piattaforma www.asmelab.it. Dopo aver superato la prova preselettiva a cura di Asmel composta da 60 quesiti a risposta multipla, gli idonei restano iscritti nell’elenco per 3 anni o fino alla data della loro assunzione a tempo indeterminato. Con un’ulteriore prova selettiva curata dall’Ente che ha indetto l’interpello, si passa alle assunzioni con una procedura che si conclude in massimo 4-5 settimane, come comprovato dall’esperienza maturata.
