I honestly think it’s best not to know anything about the actor who plays the celeb you crush hard on! I used to be obsessed with Bellamy Blake from the 100, like I had a page just purely for Bellamy fics etc then I looked up the actor because I saw a few things floating around I was like ‘he’s married to his co-star? That’s so cute’ then saw all the allegations that they had a affair when they were both in relationships, and that he actually abused his ex girlfriend and it completely destroyed the character I once loved for me

I’d just like to add I’m in no way saying any actor on HOTD has done anything like that, nor as the allegations about the actor above ever been proven… but ignorance was bliss, and fans of a character are definitely better of not knowing

Bellamy keeps texting with his latest thoughts on the novel he’s reading, the source material for last week’s entry in the Blake dystopian movie marathon, which might be annoying in slightly different circumstances. But Bellamy’s insights are pretty cool. And Miller needs something to do, some genuine reason to show interest in his phone, because otherwise he looks like he’s waiting for something. Or someone. 

It feels odd to be hanging out at Gina’s alone, with not even Jasper on shift. 

The new space is so much airier than the old, brighter with sun from the wide front windows, warm with early summer, and the ceiling fans rocking gently with the force of their own whirring movement. Gina has put up a new, billboard-sized chalkboard sign on the wall: the day’s specials in her neat, round handwriting, arranged in lines too small for the vastness of their new space.  

In her old place, the specials board was just a little thing propped up next to the cash register. For a while, there was a trend going among the high school kids: erase the menu and write messages to your secret someone instead. Everyone trying to guess who was writing and to whom. Secret love codes but for sweethearts. 

He guesses the kids don’t do that anymore, or won’t. They’d have to climb up on the bench by the wall just to reach the new sign, and hell, more than that: they’d have to really be ready to proclaim that puppy dog love to the whole world. 

Because he’s not hungry, but he wants to look busy, he orders a sandwich that he thinks he can stomach and his second coffee of the day and takes a seat at the far edge of the room. Not exactly lurking in the shadows, but not front and center in one of the window seats either. He feels like a fucking stalker, and every awkward lie he tells himself, pretending that he’s not, just drives the idea farther home. 

He's totally chill. Totally cool. Totally normal.

The 100 | Alternate Ending

As Clarke rounded the corner the muffled laughter and chatter became louder. They were there on the beach, building structures and gathering food, just like back in the Dropship days.

Her face fell. She should feel happy that they’d decided to stay for her, but she didn’t. She knew they’d inevitably come to regret that decision. They could have had a life of peace and instead had chosen to live out their mortal lives with her. She was willing to bear it so they didn’t have to and now they were here, wanting to bear it with her. She didn’t want that life. For them or for her.

The soft hum of an engine sounded from behind. Clarke turned away from her friends and watched as the rover emerged from the trees.

Her mouth opened in surprise as she took a few small steps forward. Could it be?

The rover door opened and his familiar silhouette jumped out. He had a backpack over his shoulder and a rifle attached to his belt. He must have been out foraging.

She ran, her legs moving as fast as they could through the sand. Her vision tunnelled so she could see him and only him. Before Bellamy knew what was happening, Clarke’s arms were wrapped around him.

She hugged him tight, taking in his smell, that familiar scent that she knew as well as anything. She pulled away and looked at him to make sure he was real. She didn’t understand how he was here. How was this possible? After what she’d done?

It was him. She was sure of that.

And she knew he’d forgive her as he always did. They’d continue forgiving each other time and time again until the end. That was the life she wanted. That was the life she’d choose.

Now this felt like home.
