The Emperor-Verse: RWBY: Saints of Remnant, a reimagined AU(More details in Keep Reading!)
Once there was a world by the name of Omnibus. Created by the supreme deity The Author Allfather through the mysterious entity The Storyteller, this world was composed of four holy and mighty kingdoms, ruled by The Author’s Patron Saints whose reign protected the people, human and faunus alike, with their mighty armies, hunters, and their own holy powers from barbarian hordes, and the hordes of The Grimm who were the incarnations of hatred of the fallen seraph Grimmel The Black and his fellow fallen angels
In the dreadful world-shattering war of Ragnarök, the glorious age of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, and the days of Romance, Heroism Adventure, and Eucatastrophe came to a tragic end.
Now all that remains is the world that is Remnant
But there is a prophecy made by Ozma The First Time Wizard before his death at the hands of The Witch-Emperor, that one day the bloodlines of the original Patron Saints and the families betrothed to them will return to take up these powers, rally armies of the righteous, vanquish the darkness and restore the holy kingdoms and Omnibus and reign over them once more.
Sinners will become Saints
Legends shall be restored and new Legends will be born
And what was a Remnant, Shall Be Whole Again.
But until then, the Hunters lead a struggling battle against the Grimm while the modern kingdoms suffer under corruption of all kinds, both to the benefit of darker forces who have horrifying intentions for the world.
Cue Ruby Rose and her older half-sister Yang Xiao Long, they are about to enter Beacon Academy after being approved by the eccentric Professor Ozpin Pine along with the heiress Weiss Schnee and the introverted faunus Blake Belladonna forming team RWBY
Ozpin has also enrolled a few other students and transferred others.
The former forming team JNPR, and the latter being Team SSSN of Haven Academy
Ozpin seems to have his eye on all of them, but what for?
Heavily inspired by CS Lewis's series The Chronicles of Narnia
Main Ships Contained:
RoseGarden
BlackSun
Iceberg/Arctic Water
Arkos
Renora
and some other ships
Also will contain unorthodox reimagining such as Adam Taurus(He's an initial antagonist turned good) and the White Fang and Jacques Schnee and the SDC with their Canon!Counterparts replaced with substitutes among other things
Currently the concept is in the works in a series of notes.
Details of the Emperor-Verse
Now I'm sure there's some questions you probably are all asking which I assume are the same questions as my blog
“Why are you using your Religion?”
Mostly due to it being a strong foundation, notably theology, for most of my stories, there are many strong foundations of storytelling, religion, history, you can even fantasize science if you put the imagination, time, and effort into it.
After doing some soul searching and listening to the Narnia books on Audible, it became another important element in making this au and I might include elements of CS Lewis’ Space Trilogy
This AU is set in my fictional Multiverse The Emperor-Verse which Narnia is implied to exist in, or I should say had existed in(its set after The Last Battle)
“Isn’t this kind of entitled and disrespectful?”
Disagreement isn’t necessarily malicious, and entitlement is not inherently bad if its your opinions and subjective feelings which people are entitled to.
Tolkien was heavily inspired by his distaste for how Shakespeare handled certain concepts, such as the Ents when he was upset and dissatisfied that there were no walking talking trees in the Enchanted Fortest of Macbeth, and the Valar Aule the Smith and the origin of the Dwarves make him something of an Anti-Prometheus
Not to mention Philip Pullman, the author of His Dark Materials Trilogy, made it out his distaste how CS Lewis made the Chronicles of Narnia and his overall beef with Christianity, and nobody seems to take issue with that.
I’m not saying the direction RWBY went with V3 or Pyrrha and the rest of the cast potentially ending tragically in some way or another is objectively bad, it was just not my taste
And I am not saying every normal RWBY fan/RWDE person who liked it is an elitist about it nor are all of them trying to insult me and attack me personally or say my ideas are bad
Nor I’m not trying to change canon or its “trajectory” , nor am I doing this to spite Monty, especially when I never knew the guy. This is a difference in handling ideas and concepts.
I’m doing my RWBY AU, which will most likely be revamped into an original story since it takes a whole different directions with the characters and world, but it's mostly because with post V3 and now in retrospect I saw what this world, characters, ships and other ideas could have been all in a story I believe is worth telling. And I was disappointed that it wasn’t.
I mean yeah it's also due to personal tastes and preferences and subjective feelings, at least I’ve been told, but I also try to integrate that in a meaningful way.
So I hope you all enjoy what I have to offer, which will most likely be put on AO3 and FanFiction.Net, and who knows, I might get a few artists to commission to redesign some characters or illustrate some scenes if anyone is up for it.

"Treasure of the Wild": Chapter 1: An Unexpected Hostess: Thorin Oakenshield Story
"Treasure of the Wild"
A Thorin Oakenshield Story
Warnings: This is middle earth and by that statement there will be unease and pain and loss and all sorts of unpleasant things. In this chapter, there are mentions of loss of home and hardship. Bilbo is admittedly being a bit of a nag in this chapter though he means well, lol.
.
The morning light streamed through the window, warming the skin of a woman still cozied up in her bed.
The afghan tucked under her chin was the color of lavender that grew wild in the meadows.
What was once vibrant had faded with age.
Dyed by Belladonna Took many years ago after a rather plentiful blueberry harvest.
When Fawn had been barely ten, a cherry tree had fallen after a great storm.
She'd ended up crying over it, so deeply disturbed that something so old and sturdy could just be uprooted in a moment's time.
Belladonna had collected some of the root and pressed it into the young girl's hands, "Here, sweet girl. Keep it safe in your trunk at home. One day we'll use it."
"Can we help him find his way back?" she had asked, hope shining in her eyes.
Belladonna had tilted her head at the child.
She had always spoken about plants as if they were people- like she'd known them her whole life.
Of course, the woman was not unwise to the Ents of forests far away… but she'd never known the cherry tree in Widow Briarbristle's backyard to be one.
"No, my little doe. This tree's time has come and gone. However, we can help it live on." Belladonna had said, resting a hand on the dark haired girl's head.
"How?" she questioned.
"Well." Belladonna said, placing her hands on her hips with a definitive nod, "We'll make a blanket. And we'll use the root to dye the wool. You'll see. We'll wait for a blueberry harvest. A good one. And then we'll use them both. It'll be beautiful. A nice rich shade, you'll see."
Belladonna had been right, of course, but in reality she would've said anything in that moment to comfort the distraught girl.
Fawn Baggins, now a woman in her thirties, held just a bit tighter to the memory of her mother.
Or rather a dream.
She kept her eyes closed, the blanket pulled up to her nose and it was almost like the sun itself stroked over her cheek reminding her of how Belladonna used to do the same.
"Fawn!"
However, the moment didn't last as Bilbo's voice cut through the quiet of morning.
"Fawn!"
"I'm awake, Bilbo!" she called back, scrubbing a hand over her face.
"Well, put a little haste in your step, would you?" he teased. "Breakfast is ready and I need you to run some errands."
Fawn rolled her eyes at her brother before clambering out of bed.
He was always setting her to task as a very thinly veiled attempt at keeping her out of trouble.
When Bungo, their father, had passed Bilbo stepped forward quite a bit to help and when Belladonna followed only a few short years ago, well…
It would seem that Bilbo Baggins was quite the magician.
For he'd managed to transform into the biggest Mother Hen this side of The Shire.
Fawn knew he meant well though.
They were all the other had left.
Sure there were distant relations- cousins and such.
But it wasn't the same.
Both Bungo and Belladonna had passed early by hobbits standards and it had rattled them both a bit.
Fawn had just finished tying a band around her head to keep her long hair from her eyes when Bilbo all but burst through the door.
Hands on his hips. large foot tapping impatiently on the floor, a pointed look in his eyes under a set of brows that told her he was nothing short of unimpressed with her dawdling.
He looked every bit the picture of his mother in that moment and it actually made the woman smile.
"I was coming." she said with a laugh, squeezing past him and heading towards the kitchen.
"After you've all but slept the morning away." he chided. "It's nearly time for second breakfast already."
"Bilbo." she laughed, settling at the table and slicing the figs to go in their morning oats. "It's only ten past seven. You act as if it's noon."
He harrumphed and chuffed in indignation but settled down at the table all the same.
"Now, what are these 'errands' you have for me today?" she asked, accepting the tea he offered her.
"I need you to go over to Farmer Dundledricks." he said. "I've purchased some of those apples you like so much."
A small smile curled his mouth as he watched her eyes light up.
Fawn did love her apples.
"And whilst you're there have a look at the cheese he has. I'm in the mood for something sharp and maybe sometime in the next few days you can make that delightful little dish you made last autumn. What did you call it?" he said.
She chuckled, "I hadn't really called it anything yet. I was really just trying to use up a few odds and ends that we had lingering in the larder."
"Well, in any case, it was wonderful and I'd like to have it again. If you don't mind, that is." he said.
"Of course not."
They spoke the words out of politeness, as any respectable hobbit does.
Regardless of the fact that it was neither needed nor the fact that Fawn was very obviously not a hobbit at all.
They'd finished their breakfast soon enough and washed the dishes, the pair of them doing so without speaking at all.
Though, there was no awkwardness.
They'd simply been in each other's presence for so long now that they moved in harmony almost like a dance.
Soon enough, Fawn was out the door, a basket for second breakfast, elevensies, luncheon at Bilbo's insistence.
"Is this really needed?" she asked.
The look he gave her was withering and it was at these times if Fawn wondered if he forgot she wasn't a hobbit at all.
Despite the fact that she was at least two and a half heads taller than he…if not a bit more.
"Well, I haven't packed you for afternoon tea." he said, a bit of attitude bleeding into his words. "And I highly doubt, with the way you like to socialize, that you'll be back for it."
"Well, not all of us like to hole up like a little crab in their sand dunes, brother." she teased him.
He narrowed his eyes, "Well, get on about it. I'll need you back to help with dinner."
"More and more like him every day." Fawn giggled.
"I beg your pardon." he asked, head quirking to the side and brows furrowing.
"Father." she laughed. "You are rapidly becoming Bungo Baggins made over!"
At that Bilbo's pipe twitched in his mouth and he straightened his waistcoat, "I should hope so. One of us needs to be respectable around here."
Fawn's eyes turned to the sky, exasperation and amusement coloring her features.
"I shall return to help you with dinner, brother." she said before turning and making her way down the winding path towards Farmer Dundledrick's.
"And there are extra biscuits in a tin!" he called after her. "In case you're still hungry before you get back!"
She laughed though in reality she was grateful.
A hobbit she was not.
But she'd raised by three and heavily influenced by the one still residing at Bag End… which meant that Fawn, in fact, did have quite the appetite.
Bilbo knew this, of course.
As it was, it turned out to be a lovely day all together.
Fawn, aware of the time of the year, had chosen to take a shortcut by the stream where she picked mushrooms and the wild flowers that grew there.
A thatch of sunflowers as well which she found odd for April but picked some none of the less.
Bilbo was particularly fond of roasted sunflower seeds.
Her simple errand had produced some fruitful foraging and a nice little visit with the farmer.
Old Man Dundledrick had been a bit lonely since the recent passing of his wife, Azalea.
He'd always been a kind hobbit, coming round to check on the pair of them after Bungo's passing and again when Belladonna followed.
And so the Baggins siblings made it a point to check in on him at least once a week.
He'd been quite appreciative for the jams and jellies she'd brought along as well.
She was late getting back, of course, and darkness had already settled in the Shire.
About half down the path back, she had been very grateful for Bilbo's overpacking.
Fawn laughed softly, fully expecting to hear a heavy admonishing from Bilbo for losing his jars and her tardiness.
Though, she knew he'd simmer down when she told him where they were.
Only a few lanterns were lit amongst the homes.
The sky was an inky indigo sort of blue around her, reminding her a friend from the past.
A little raven had visited the Shire, a broken wing as a result of a run in with a rather tempermental neighbor.
Fawn had rushed to save the little thing and nursed it back to health.
She'd called it Sapphire for the blue cast of it's ebony feathers.
Then one day, it simply flew away and she hadn't seen it since.
She shook her head, clearing the thoughts from her mind before the sadness could linger and instead looked ahead to Bag End.
She figured Bilbo would be sat in his armchair, a candle beside him, an expression of utmost contempt on his features as he waited like a mother to catch her child sneaking in after a run off with a lover.
To her surprise, when she entered the home he was instead sat at the table.
Fish on the table and a cold shoulder at the ready.
"You are late." he said, cutting his eyes at her. "I told you-"
"Yes, I know but I got caught up. Look what I've brought." she said settling the basket down on the table.
Bilbo set about rummaging through the basket.
Gleeful of her finds though not missing the opportunity to scold her for taking her time.
She informed him of her chat with the farmer and the two of them sat down for supper.
A pleased smile tugged at Bilbo's face as he took great care to sprinkle it with salt and fresh lemon juice when the door chimed.
Bilbo's eyes stared towards the entry for a moment before he leveled Fawn with a stare, "Is this your doing?"
She shrugged, "I haven't a thing to do with it."
The hobbit was huffy about his supper being interrupted but stood to answer the door anyway.
Fawn waited at the table when she heard a deep and gruff voice.
"Dwalin. At your service."
A beat of silence followed by Bilbo's confused if not forcibly polite, "Ah, Bilbo Baggins. At Yours. Do we know each other?"
"No."
Fawn almost laughed at the tone of the voice.
The heavy footsteps thudded against the floors of Bag End.
"Which way, laddie? Is it down here?" the accented voice asked.
Fawn could hear the pure confusion in her brother's voice, "Is what down here?"
"Supper. He said there'd be food. And lots of it." he answered.
"He, He said? Who said?"
Fawn, having had more curiosity than she could stand, abandoned her seat to seek out the guest.
He rounded the corner at the same time as she, causing Fawn to slam into a very firm chest and wobble on her feet.
His hands reached to steady her, "Oh, I'm sorry, lass. You alright there?"
She laughed and took in the sight of his massive forearms and tattoos, "Yes, yes. I'm fine."
He released his hold on her, "My apologies, Miss."
And then to Bilbo, "And to you, Mr. Baggins. I did not mean to offer any offense to your wife. I only meant to steady her."
Bilbo's brows shot up and Fawn laughed again.
"No offense taken." she said. "I appreciate the interception. I'd rather not take a tumble. The last time I did, I ended up smacking my head on the wall sconce. And Bilbo isn't my husband. He's my brother."
"Ah." he said and gave her a bow. "Dwalin. At your service."
"Fawn Baggins. At yours." she said in return. "Please, come and sit down. Have some supper."
Dwalin smiled at the woman, eyes soft for her sweet nature while Bilbo's looked as if they might pop from his very head.
She encouraged the burly dwarrowman into a chair, "Please, tuck in!"
He didn't need to be told twice and Bilbo sat in somewhat of a daze as she flitted around, producing more ale and even a bottle of wine.
"Here." she said, "Now this is my violet wine. I'm not sure if you've ever tried it but I grow the violets myself and it pairs beautifully with fish."
Dwalin, it would seem, would try whatever she placed before him.
The woman was enchanting, a bit childlike in her joy of company.
She sat at the table, making small talk with him and filling the silence with chatter but he didn't mind.
It was better than the awkward silence of her hobbit brother who seemed completely put out.
"Very good, this. Any more?" he complimented.
Nothing was said as Bilbo stared.
"Bilbo." Fawn pressed, nodding towards the buns and giving her brother a pointed look.
"What? O-oh, yes, yes." he said, handing the bowl over, though not without knicking one for himself. "Help yourself."
And Dwalin did.
"It's just that, um, I wasn't expecting company." Bilbo said.
Fawn's brows furrowed, "Bilbo."
Dwalin could tell there was an argument brewing but the door chimed again, cutting it short.
"That'll be the door." he said, looking at Bilbo who only stared.
"Bilbo." Fawn pressed. "The door."
While her brother left the room, Fawn turned back to the guest.
"Do you like seed cakes?" she asked. "I'd love to get your opinion on a new recipe I'm working on."
He gave her a grin, "Lassie, I'll try anything you set in front of me."
She grinned, bright and excited, at him and placed one down.
One turned to two and two to three and before she knew it, he had his hand in the glass jar hunting for more.
"I'll take that as a good sign then?" she asked hopefully.
"Aye, a great one." he said.
"Oh!" sounded another voice breaking into a chortle.
The two of them turned to the door where another visitor was entering.
With white hair and white beard that flicked at the end.
"Ah, evening brother." said the newcomer with a bit of a bounce in his step.
Fawn watched as Dwalin's eyes twinkled, a little chuckle escaping him.
Clearly, these two knew each other very well.
"By my beard." Dwalin said, a tease in his tone as he set down the jar. "You're shorter and wider than last we met."
"Wider. Not shorter. Sharp enough for both of us." he said, with a mischievous wink.
The two shared a laugh before embracing one another's shoulders… and promptly headbutting.
Bilbo balked while Fawn couldn't contain the giggle.
"Ah, excuse me. Hate to interrupt. But the thing is- I'm not entirely sure you're in the right house." Bilbo began.
"Balin, meet Miss Fawn." Dwalin said, interrupting him.
"My apologies, m'lady." Balin said, looking up at her. "Balin."
She gave him a little courtesy, "Lovely to meet you, Master Balin. Please, come. Let me get you some ale."
Bilbo, flabbergasted with his sister, as she led them both to the larder, followed.
"Have you eaten?" Dwalin asked him.
"Oh, yes, Master Balin. Please let me get you something to eat and a place to sit. I'll be just a moment." Fawn said, darting off to prepare another setting.
The two brothers pittered around the pantry as Bilbo spoke, "It's not that I don't like visitors. I like visitors as much as the next… hobbit. But I do like to know them before they come… visiting."
Though neither brother seemed to pay him any mind.
"The thing is… the thing is…I don't know either of you." He said watching as a piece of blue cheese came hurling out. "Not in the slightest. I don't mean to be blunt but I, uh, I had to speak my mind. I'm sorry."
The pair of them halted, turning to look at the hobbit in question before Balin smiled, "Apology accepted."
"Oh." Bilbo said, seemingly more confused now than ever. Fawn reappeared at his side, "Master Dwalin, Master Balin, please come and sit down. I'll bring you something else to eat."
The two of them followed after her.
"Tell me Master Balin, do you like seed cakes?" she asked. "I had Master Dwalin try my new recipe and he seemed to like them."
"Sounds wonderful, dearie." Balin smiled.
Fawn practically glowed with happiness as she guided them towards more food.
Bilbo's face aghast when the door chimed yet again to reveal, of course, more dwarves.
This time a younger pair.
One with golden hair and the other with that of darkest ebony.
"Fili" said the blonde.
"And Kili." the brunette.
"At your service." they chorused together with a deep bow.
"You must be Mister Boggins!" said Kili with a happy grin.
"Nope!" chirped Bilbo, "You can't come in. You've come to the wrong house."
He rushed to close the door though he was stopped.
"Has it been canceled?" Kili asked, shock and disbelief in his dark eyes.
"No one told us." said Fili, suspicion and disbelief coloring his.
"Canc- No, nothing's been canceled." Bilbo said in exasperation.
"That's a relief!" breathed the brunette and the pair of them made their way inside.
The hobbit opened his mouth again to protest.
"Bilbo!" Fawn gasped, rounding the corner, leveling her brother with a disappointed look before she turned to the newcomers. "Hello, there. Do come and make yourselves at home."
Fili turned to use Bilbo as his personal assistant …or a coat rack while Kili stared at Fawn.
"Mr. Boggins!" he cheered. "I had no idea you had such a lovely wife!"
Fawn laughed softly, "Not his wife but rather his sister. Come, warm your bones and fill your bellies, the pair of you. Master Dwalin and Master Balin are just this way."
She ushered them towards the other room but not without throwing her brother a very annoyed look… who returned it with one of his own.
Though it only lasted for a moment before one of pure irritation settled on his features… when the door chimed again.
He set about having a right fit but the door opened nonetheless, sending a whole herd of dwarves tumbling in.
And behind them stooped none other than Gandalf the wizard.
"Gandalf." Bilbo breathed… suddenly very much aware now as to why his home was full of dwarves.
Followed by the absolute dread that followed when he realized that he would have to explain that Gandalf had visited the day before… and Bilbo had not bothered to tell Fawn.
She was going to have a fit and he would be the unfortunate recipient of her upset.
However, his inevitable tongue lashing was delayed as the house was alive with hustle and bustle of the guests.
Fawn seemed to sparkle as they moved around her.
This way and that, setting up a meal and moving furniture.
Bilbo was beside himself with exasperation.
"Miss Fawn?"
She turned to a young dwarrowman whom she learned was called Ori, "Yes?"
"Where would I find the forks?" he asked.
"Oh, just this way, darling." she said, tugging him along.
She found her mother's prized gravy bowl in the process, tears building in her eyes.
Belladonna would've loved this.
Visitors and parties, the home alive again.
"Miss Fawn?" Ori asked.
She laughed, wiping a small tear, "Oh, I'm alright."
"Miss Fawn, has something happened? Have we done something to offend?"
It was Fili that came forward, followed by his brother.
"We did not mean to. We promise we'll set it right." Kili said.
"Oh, no, no. Not at all." she said. "I was just thinking of my mother. She would've loved you all coming round to visit. She was quite the life of the party, you see. And she never met a stranger in her life. Just friends she didn't know yet."
The dwarrowmen smiled though concern still lingered in their eyes.
"Come now, the lot of you. Will one of you help me set the table?" she said, brushing the sadness from her voice. "And Fili, Kili. Strapping young lads. Let's go and get a barrel of ale from the cellar please. I'll show you where it is."
Ori took the settings from her, "Let me, Miss. It would be my honor."
She patted his cheek fondly, "Alright, love."
He flushed and wandered off towards the dining room as she turned to the brothers.
"Alright, you two follow me." she said leading them down to the cellar and settling on a nice ale. "Now it's a bit heavy and awkward to get up the stairs but I think between the three of us it actually should be no trouble at all."
The two of them laughed and Fili simply scooped it up onto his shoulder.
Fawn blinked in shock, "Well, that isn't something you see every day. Really, Fili. I can help you. It's no trouble. Please, don't hurt your back."
The pair of them laughed.
"Miss Fawn, we dwarves are strong stock. This is nothing." said Kili moving up the stairs to hold the door open.
"'Sides we wouldn't let you carry it anyway." said Fili following his brother.
Fawn frowned, feeling quite cross in that moment, "Excuse me?"
They turned to look at her and Kili's eyes grew as he spoke, "Oh, not to say that you couldn't."
"Just that you shouldn't." said Fili.
Her brows rose further, "Come again?"
The pair of them recognized the look of an angered female and the panic built between them.
"I'll have you know that I'm the one that put this all down here AND the one who brings it up." she snipped.
The dwarves looked positively upset, "Master Baggins, allows you to do that?!"
Kili sounded scandalized.
"Master Baggins doesn't allow anything! I am more than capable of my own decisions."
Fawn was growing angrier by the second.
Kili glanced at his brother, confusion coating his features, "Well, of course, you're capable. But… you shouldn't have to. It's the job of the…"
However, the look of complete and total indignation on her features told Fili that this was a cultural difference.
"We are sorry, Miss Fawn. We meant no offense. In dwarven culture, we cherish our females as there are so few. Of course you can do absolutely anything you wish. That was not the point. Females are a rarity among our kind and so with each of them, they are held in the highest of regards. We apologize for this misunderstanding and do hope you forgive us." Fili spoke like a true prince.
Fawn deflated, "Oh, it's alright, boys. I'm sorry for losing my temper. I, as you may have guessed, am a little sensitive at times. While raised by hobbits, I am clearly not one. I am of the race of men. I've been fortunate to have the life I have here in Bag End… but in my youth I've had some experiences. Women aren't usually treated so kindly… and certainly not with the respect that dwarrowmen seem to have for them. I apologize for my outburst."
They smiled at her, hearts warming a little at her use of the term 'dwarrowmen'.
It was, in fact, the most polite and correct term… but rarely used anymore.
"No need, Miss Fawn." Kili said, dark eyes blinking at her. "Now, where shall we put this?"
Fawn smiled, "Up the stairs and just outside the dining room will be fine."
They had just cleared the stairs when she spotted a gray robe and heard a familiar voice ticking off names.
"Gandalf!" she smiled rushing forward to envelope him in a hug.
"Oh, Fawn!" he laughed, "I had wondered where you'd gotten to."
"Just in the cellar. Fili and Kili are bringing up some ale." she said eyeing her brother who was chittering on about some tea cups. "I had no idea you were part of this merry gathering. Though I can't say I'm surprised."
"Bilbo didn't tell you?" he questioned, eyes twinkling knowingly. "I was here just yesterday."
Fawn's jaw ticked in irritation, those fluffy cheeks of hers becoming rosy with anger.
Her eyes narrowed in on her brother who seemed to freeze all together, "No, he did not."
She took a breath before smiling at Gandalf, "Well, in any case, I'm glad you're here. It is so good to see you. It's been ages. Far too long, my friend!"
"Far too long, indeed." he said, patting her head that rested on his shoulder. "Now, if you don't mind, I believe I need to keep counting."
He recounted the names and after a short conversation with Bifur said, "It seems we are one dwarf short."
"He is late is all." said Dwalin from his spot. "He travelled north for a meeting of our kin. He will come."
"Another guest?" Fawn asked, an excited sparkle in her eyes.
"Aye, lass." Dwalin said in amusement.
"Wonderful!" she said with a clap of her hands. "Oh, we'll need another chair, I think!"
And she was off in a dash.
In no time, the lot of them were crowded around the table, thoroughly enjoying the meal.
Sounds of merriment and laughter filled the air.
The very essence of it chased away the loneliness that sometimes lingered in the air.
Fawn couldn't have been happier if she tried.
And Bilbo couldn't have been more annoyed at the state of his larder.
"Fili, here. Please pass around some more ale." she said handing over some more mugs to the blond who climbed the table to distribute them.
It all resulted in the chugging of it and a chorus of resounding belches.
Disgusting Bilbo and dissolving Fawn into a fit of giggles.
Though the hobbit had had far enough of this, as proven by the argument he was having with Gandalf.
"Oh, Bilbo, please." Fawn pleaded with her brother.
"Please, what, Fawn?!" he said. "We do not know these people!"
"But we could GET to know them." she said, looking down at him.
He blew a harsh breath out of his nose, "Fawn.."
"Bilbo, please." she pleaded, tugging on his heart strings. "It's just so nice to have life breathed back into the home."
Bilbo deflated only a little and opened his mouth to speak, "Fawn, I know it's been a bit lonely since mother and father but-"
"Excuse me?"
The pair of them turned to Ori, "I'm sorry to interrupt but what should I do with my plate?"
Fawn gave him a smile, "Oh, darling, I'll take it.
"Here, Ori, give it to me." said Fili stepping up to intercept it.
"Honestly, it's alright." she said.
Fili gave her a smile and a wink, "It's our way, Miss Fawn. Let's us handle it and rest yourself. You've welcome us into your home so graciously."
She titled her head, a soft smile upon her face, "Alright, thank you."
He simply tossed it behind him towards Kili who popped out of kitchen to catch it.
Fawn gasped and then again when Dwalin reached forward to pull her back out of the way, "Back here. Enjoy the show from a safe distance, lass."
Her eyes lit up as the dishes flew through the air and back again, a song reverberating the very walls of Bag End.
The merriment only halting at the sound of three solid knocks at the door.
It was Gandalf that answered, pulling the masses of them through to crowd around the entrace.
"Gandalf." the stranger acknowledged stepping inside. "I thought you said this place would be easy to find. I lost my way. Twice. Wouldn't have find it at all if it were not for the mark on the door."
Which of course sent Bilbo into a tizzy about the door that he'd meticulously painted just last week.
"Welcome." Fawn stepped forward. "Please, let me take your coat and come have some supper. We've saved you some."
His eyes, like bright sapphires, looked up at her, halting him in his place.
His gaze softened momentarily at the sight of her.
Something she was beginning to realize happened with all of them.
She wondered if it had anything to do with what Fili and Kili had told her about females down in the cellar.
"Fawn Baggins." she smiled. "At your service."
Thorin opened his mouth to return the gesture but Gandalf cut him off.
"Bilbo Baggins, allow me to introduce you to the leader of our company." said the wizard drawing his attention away. "Thorin Oakenshield."
Thorin stared down Bilbo and then glancing at Fawn who moved to hang up his coat, her fingers ghosting over the soft fur there.
Baggins.
He deduced that the two of them were married.
Fawn, unawares to the shared looks of the company, as she was too busy admiring the fur of Thorin's coat.
Oh, how she did love fur.
She briefly thought of the dwarrowdamn who'd bought a thatch of it from many moons ago and a smile tugged at her lips.
"So." said Thorin, crossing his arms over his chest and circling Bilbo not unlike a wolf stalking a bunny. "Tell me, Mr. Baggins. Have you done much fighting? Axe or sword? What is your weapon on choice?"
"Well, I do have some skill at conkers if you must know but I fail to see… why that's relevant." Bilbo responded.
"Thought as much." Thorin said, eyeing him and speaking to the company over his shoulder. "He looks more like a grocer than a burglar."
Anger rose in Fawn, fluffy cheeks flaring in protectiveness.
"Now, you hold on just a minute." she snapped, surging forward and cutting him off.
Thorin's brows lifted and his eyes widened having not expected her to move so quickly… or to confront him for that matter.
"You listen here, you listen now and you listen well, Master Oakenshield." she said all but looming over him with a stern expression. "You are a guest in the house and you would do well to behave like it. If you can be civilized and polite you are welcome to come warm your bones and enjoy supper. However, if you insult Bilbo once more, you can just take your uppity attitude and your sparkly eyes right back outside and eat your supper in the dark."
Thorin blinked, unsure how to respond as she had just scolded and complimented him at the same time.
He bowed his head, "My apologies, Missus Baggins. You have my deepest regrets."
"Good." she said, with a firm nod. "And it's Miss Baggins, thank you very much. Preferably just Fawn. Missus Baggins was our mother, Belladonna Took wed to our father, Bungo Baggins."
Thorin, much to the amusement of everyone else involved, kept his head slightly bowed but nodded.
Fili and Kili nearly beside themselves as they watched their uncle, the 'great and mightly Thorin Oakenshield' be humbled so ruthlessly by a woman who moments ago was petting his fur coat as if it were a bunny.
"Now, then." she said, smoothing a hand over her skirt. "Come and have some supper. Maybe that will sort out your clearly irritable attitude."
Gandalf slightly choked on the smoke of his pipeweed but the lot of them decided to file in anyway amusement barely concealed on their faces and Fawn pointedly directed him where she wanted him to sit at the head of the table.
Thorin, wisely, chose not to comment and instead settled before her.
She turned to fetch his supper but was beaten to it by his nephews.
"He is my guest." she told them.
"Ah, but Miss Fawn." Fili winked. "He's our uncle."
"But it's my home." she countered.
"To which you have so graciously opened." Kili said. "And as your guests, it would give us great pleasure to assist you. What is the hospitable thing to do, Miss Fawn? Deny your guests such a simple request?"
Kili's eyes twinkled and she just sighed quickly realizing that this was a battle that she hadn't the energy to even attempt.
Bofur pulled a chair up beside him right between himself and Thorin and offered her a kind smile.
Every ounce of her hospitable hobbit upbringing was telling her to go and prepare room for her guests to stay the night however, at the twinkle of Bofur's eyes she simply took the seat.
The excitement of the evening began to wear her down and she simply sat back to listen to their conversation.
Soon the the purpose of their visit became apparent as a quest was brought to the table.
"You're… going on a quest?" Bilbo asked from his spot.
"Bilbo, my dear fellow." said Gandalf. "Perhaps a little more light."
Fawn began to rise to her feet but Bilbo waved her off and she chose to settle down as Gandalf spread a map across the table.
"The Lonely Mountain." said Bilbo.
Fawn drew closer a bit to Thorin so that she could read it.
He tensed.
And she noticed.
Blue eyes caught amber for a moment before they both looked away.
"Aye, Oin has read the portents and the portents say that it is time."
"Ravens have been seen flying back to the mountain as it was foretold. When the birds of yore return to Erebore the reign of the beast will end."
Fawn's eyes snapped up to her brother's, a glimmer of hope shining in them.
"Sapphire?" she mouthed drawing Thorin's attention to her and then her brother who gave her a look of sympathy.
He wanted to ask but knew it was not the time.
"What beast?" asked Bilbo.
"Well that would be a reference to Smaug the Terrible." said Bofur. "Chiefest and greatest calamity of our age. Airborne fire breather. Teeth like razors. Claws like meat hooks. Extremely fond of precious metal."
"Yes, I know what a dragon is." Bilbo cut him off irritably which then prompted Ori to shoot up and proclaim he'd shove a sword up the dragon's hind quarters.
It only resulted in him being tugged back down to his seat.
This of course drew a comment from Balin which then caused the lot of them to erupt into a upset at the possibility of insult to their intelligence.
"We may be few in number. " Fili said thudding his fist on the table. "But we're fighters. All of us. To the last dwarf."
"And you forget we have a wizard in our company." Kili said. "Gandalf will have killed hundreds of dragons in his time."
Which… of course… led to another squabble demanding to know the numbers.
It was all beginning to give Fawn a headache and Thorin noticed as she massaged her temples.
He was sure that his roar of a yell did nothing to help her blossoming headache but at least it had quieted them and drew their attention back to where it was needed.
"If we have read these signs do you not think others will have read them too?" he said. "Rumors have begun to spread. The dragon, Smaug, has not been seen for sixty years. Eyes look east to the mountain assessing. Wondering. Weighing the risk. Perhaps the vast wealth of our people now lies unprotected. Do we sit back while other claim what is rightfully ours or do we sieze this chance to take back Erebor!"
He followed with a few phrases spoke in his native language, his dark braids swinging forward.
Fawn found herself staring at him and understanding without fail how he was the leader.
There was a strength and charisma to him that she found even he were not born to royalty… others would still follow him.
Thorin caught her gaze again but she did not look away for a moment.
His heart hammered away in his chest.
Whether it was the excitement or her gaze… he was not sure.
Eventually it broke when Balin spoke up, "You forget the front gate is seal. There is no way into the mountain."
"That, my dear Balin, is not entirely true." said Gandalf, producing a key.
"How came you by this?" asked Thorin, eyes lingering on a key he had not seen for many a year.
"It was given to me by your father. By Thrain. For safe keeping. It is yours now." Gandalf said passing it to him.
"If there is a key, there must be a door." said Fili.
Gandalf nodded and pointed to the map, "These runes speaks of a hidden passage to the lower halls."
Kili smiled, "There's another way in." "Well, if we can find it but dwarves door are invisible when closed." Gandalf sighed. "The answer lies hidden lies somewhere in this map and I do not have the skills to find it. But there are others in middle earth who can."
With Gandalf locked eyes with Fawn, a distinctive look in them that caused her own to widen.
"The task I have in mind will require a great deal of stealth and no small amount of courage." he said glancing at Bilbo. "But if we are careful and clever I believe it can be done."
"That's why we need a burglar." said Ori.
"Hmph." said Bilbo. "A good one too by the looks of it. An expert I'd imagine."
"And are you?"
"Am I what?" asked Bilbo.
"He said he's an expert!"
"Me, no, no, I'm not a burglar. I've never stolen a thing in my life." he said, choosing to the ignore the look Fawn sent him.
She particularly remembered him stealing apples for her when she was smaller.
And he was rather good at it.
"I'm afraid I have to agree with Master Baggins. He's hardly burglar material." said Balin.
"Aye, the wild is no place for gentle folk who can neither fight nor fend for themselves." Dwalin said, sneaking a glance at Fawn who curiously seemed rather put out.
The room again dissolved into a rumble of arguing until Gandalf, having had enough, bellowed out mightily that Bilbo was a burglar… while simultaneously leaving no other room for discussion on the matter.
Stunning Bilbo in the process.
"You asked me to find the fourteenth member of this company and I have chosen Mister Baggins. There is a lot more to him than apperances suggest. And he's got a great deal more to offer than any of you know. Including himself." Gandalf said. "And furthermore, there will be a fifteenth spot taken by none other than Miss Fawn herself."
The woman in question widened her eyes at the wizard before her.
"Excuse me? What?" she gasped.
It unleased an onslaught of argument from the surrounding company as she did her best to process.
"Fawn is incredibly skilled with herbs and plants of all kinds. She is a remarkable healer with talents far beyond ever her own knowledge." Gandalf said.
Fawn blinked at him in shock.
"Aye, but we have a healer already." Dwalin cut in.
"True but should anything happen to him, it would not hurt to have another. Besides, Fawn had a certain way with things. Plants respond to her and she is able to find the most obscure root and turn it into a flourishing plant. I have seen her grown a full garden in the dead of winter in nothing more than a patch of mud. Now which of you can tell me that that's not useful?"
"Well, yes, but.." Nori started.
"And you'll need help when you've reclaimed Erebor. It may take a while to get the details sorted and a trade route set in stone." Gandalf pressed.
"Alright but-" Bofur began.
"And she is a very quick learner, picks up skills like a dream. Very adaptive and blends well with others as you all have seen tonight when she so graciously welcomed you into her home." Gandalf continued.
"Aye, of course, and we're very appreciative but-" Dwalin began with a worried glance at the lass.
"And she is going!" Gandalf all but roared leaving them quiet.
He turned to Thorin, "You must trust me on this."
He sighed, glancing at the stunned woman beside him who's eyes kept slowly blinking.
"Very well. We will do it your way." Thorin said turning to glance at Fawn who still sat stunned before nodding, "Give them a contract."
Bilbo's panic began to rise as he protested while Fawn dreamily accepted the scroll given to her.
Her eyes skimming over everything, her brother's voice echoeing aloud as he too looked it over.
She was in such a daze that she'd tuned out Bofur's teasing until the thud of Bilbo hitting the floor drew her out of it.
She leveled the dwarf with a glare that had him stepping back.
He atleast had the decency to look shameful.
Fawn went to her brother, easily lifting him into her arms and moving him towards an arm chair and fanning him until he came to.
"I'll get you some tea." she said, pressing a kiss into his curls.
She busied herself in the kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil and something stirred in her stomach.
She didn't know if supper wasn't setting right or if it was something more.
She wished for the former but guessed the later.
All her life, Fawn had known that there was something more out there.
That she was meant for something more.
A quick look to her brother who sat in his armchair, clearly rattled, told her that there was more to her life than Bag End.
It disturbed her greatly for she loved Bag End.
The Baggins' had taken her in when she had no one.
Bilbo, in particular, for he had been the one to find her and bring her back.
The most rotten feeling settled in her stomach as she took his tea back out to him.
"Brother…" she started.
"I am not going." he told her. "And neither are you."
Her temper flared but she managed to quiet it, "Bilbo, I love you but you do not control me."
He sighed, tears pricking at his eyes, "I'm not trying to control you. I'm trying to keep you safe."
"Safe." she said, a breathless laugh that made him furrow his brows. "Bilbo, I know you are but safety only gets you so far. I know in my heart that I'm meant to do this."
She thudded her fist against his chest before letting her fingers splay over his, "And I know you're meant for it too."
He shook his head, anger that developed from worry bubbling out of him, "I am not about to go and get myself killed. If you must, you go and do it but I will not be trailing after you. If you go it, you go alone. Just go ahead and mark me out of your life all together."
Fawn gasped.
It was a small and sharp sound, like he'd just cut her.
Tears welled in those golden eyes and she looked at him in a way that she hadn't since she was maybe six and he'd yelled at her for the first time.
"Fawn.."
But she'd whirled around and fled through the door.
The dwarves had heard the commotion but chose not to comment on it.
"Should someone go after the lass?" asked Dwalin.
Gandalf shook his head, "She won't be far. She'll be alright. Likely just cooling her head so she doesn't say something hurtful to her brother… who would very much deserve it at this moment."
Gandalf gave Bilbo a piece of his mind and they'd scattered amongst the living room to smoke their pipes.
Thorin had just began to sing when Fawn returned.
The deep timbre of his voice drawing her in as she leaned against the archway and listened.
She could feel his pain and the pain of the others as they joined him.
She made up her mind right then.
Fawn Baggins was going on an adventure.

hi i love ur blog, i just wanna say i love ur smaus too like the characters seem all fleshed out with their own personalities and in comparison to other smaus its a lot easier to differentiate. i was thinking of starting a writing blog so i was just curious as to how you manage to do that? like maybe some tips and tricks you could give?
anyways hope you have a nice day <33
ur literally so sweet omg <33
but sure yes i can give you some tips and pointers if you'd like !!
make like character charts or bullet points down for all the characters.
if you're creative and artistic, draw out like a large ass character relationship chart. i've done one with secure that card and belladonna where i literally just drew arrows to each of the characters plus what the arrows meant.
this is one i made for when i started belladonna! (free from spoilers teehee) but you can see label relationships on it if you want! it makes it more clear, and if you forget a relationship it doesn't seem like ur making something up later in the story.
you can also like just write down bullet points on what you want the characters to be/act like. it's important to write this stuff down otherwise you'll lose it and forget! i won't show u my belladonna one bc it has spoilers on it, but i'll show u a basic one i used for mark lee vs the world. (obviously i conveyed most of these in the profiles but it's still good to update and add onto it when you need to)
2. study mbti or other personality categorizations!
back in 2020 i was SO OBSESSED WITH mbti. it's helped so much with writing and understanding characters on a personal level. whenever i get lost and don't know how to distinguish a personality from another i usally deep dive and watch content or remember what i know about mbti.
now there's obviously the specific 4-letters mbti, the functions mbti, and what the members think their own mbti is. obviously the test itself is dumb, so i don't always listen to what nct thinks their own mbti is or what the internet is. i like to do my own research into the functions and how i perceive the members for help.
this has also helped me a lot because there was for a period of time, where i wasn't sure how to write jeno and some of the members of 127. but studying his mbti really helped me create a personality to him!
here's my dreamie mbti thoughts at the moment if anyone wants them. i can also give my thoughts for any of the others if anyone is interested!
mark: infj. him being extroverted is so forced omg, take one closer look at this man and you can see his more introverted qualities. i'd accept isfj too, but his Ni function IS SOOOO STRONG.
renjun: RENJUN IS SUCH A BIG. "we don't know them personally situation" because i'll literally accept any variation of renjun at all. he knows much more about mbti than anyone else i've seen, especially coupled with the fact that he doesn't want to tell anyone what his mbti is, because he knows how annoying people can get about it. also he precieves himself as an extrovert which is shocking to me, but i feel like in this case i'd just type him as an istj/intp lol.
jeno: istp. i had to turn to pdb for this one lol, which isn't the worst place ever to start, but it also becomes a big ass echo chamber at times. though i relatively agree with istp lmfao.
haechan: enfp/entp. this one is always up in the air, because like jaemin people can't really tell if haechan is an extrovert or introvert. the way i disagree with the entire internet on this one lol. someone tell him to stop taking the fucking test he is definitely not an istp. 💀
jaemin: isfj. his test is pretty accurate i'd say, there's a lot of debate over whether or not jaemin is an extrovert or introvert, but if you actually pay attention to the way he acts when he isn't just around dreamies you can see how his social battery gets used up fairly fairly quickly. (cough cough nct world cought nct world)
chenle: definite entj. as someone who personally is an entj, i see so many entj qualities shine through this man.
jisung: infp. jisung's definitely introverted, but he has so many infp qualities. the patience and attentiveness, his fairness and morality, and deep connection with feelings. SO INFP CODED.
i hate how misinformed the kpop community is about mbti. it makes my blood boil actually. please read into the functions if you have time rather than just taking a test and calling it a day. THANK YOU.

Flower Information Based on The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings
1. Peregrine Thistle
Peregrin "Pippin" Took is one of the main four hobbits in The Fellowship alongside Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, and Meriadoc Brandybuck in The Lord of the Rings. Peregrin is a more "masculine" version of Peregrine. Peregrin Took is the son of Eglantine Took and Thane Paladin Took II of The Shire. He has three older sisters named Pearl, Pimpernel, and Pervinca. He is first cousins with Meriadoc Brandybuck, second cousins with Frodo Baggins, and first cousins twice removed/second cousins once removed with Bilbo Baggins depending on the side of the family. Peregrin joins the journey at just 28 years old, the equivalent of 15 in hobbit years, and is the youngest of The Fellowship. He is best friends with Meriadoc Brandybuck and later befriends the ent Treebeard and the men Boromir and Faramir. In the books, he marries Diamond of Long Cleeve and has a son named Faramir Took.
Peregrine Thistle, aka Cirsium Cymosum, is a type of thistle commonly found in western North America. They have spikey spines and a cobweb-like texture. They are a relative of daisies and prefer direct and full sun for at least 6-8 hours a day. They can grow up to 3 feet (91.44 cm) tall and come in white, purple, and pink. They represent aggressiveness, pain, protection, and pride.
2. Eglantine
Eglantine Took, born Eglantine Banks, is the wife of Paladin Took II and the mother of Pearl, Pimpernel, Pervinca, and Peregrin Took. She does not make a movie appearance.
Eglantines are wild roses. They are large, light pink, and grow on thorny canes. Their petals are shaped like hearts. They tend to grow in Europe and Eastern Asia. They smell very strongly of apples and are often used for tea. They grow up to 15 inches (38.1 cm) tall. They represent pleasure and pain.
3. Scarlet Pimpernel
Pimpernel Took is the older sister of Pervinca and Peregrin Took and the younger sister to Pearl Took. She attends Bilbo's birthday party.
Scarlet Pimpernel, also known as red chickweed, shepherd's clock, and poor man's barometer; is a small red or orange flower with purple centers. Rarely, they also come in blue and pink. They have five petals and are considered weeds. Pimpernels that grow in the summer spread by creeping across the ground, and ones that grow in the winter have upright stems. They are very poisonous to humans, dogs, and horses. They represent humbleness, modesty, mystery, and evasiveness.
4. Pervinca or Myrtle
Pervinca Took is the older sister of Peregrin Took and the younger sister of Pearl and Pimpernel Took. She makes an appearance at Bilbo's birthday party and is in The Lord of the Rings Online video game.
Myrtle Burrows is a distant relative to Bilbo and Frodo Baggins. She attended Bilbo's birthday party at age 8 and is the great-great-great granddaughter of Balbo Baggins. She does not make a movie appearance.
Myrtle is the name of Bilbo's pony in The Hobbit.
Pervinca flowers, aka myrtle, vinca, and periwinkle, are soft five-petaled flowers that grow as bushes. They come in light pink, dark pink, blue, white, and wine purple. They prefer partial shade. They are a garden favorite. They are invasive flowers that spread with exploding seed pods. They are used to create vincristine which is used in chemotherapy. However, raw flowers are poisonous. They represent nostalgia, sadness, and purity. (I have some dark pink ones! They easily fit on a windowsill though they are a bit tall. The flowers sprout and fully bloom in one to two days and fall off and regrow just as quickly. They only need watering once every one to two weeks and have a very faint scent).
5. Belladonna
Belladonna Baggins, born Belladonna Took, was the wife of Bungo Baggins and the mother of Bilbo Baggins. She was the ninth of twelve children to Thane Gerontius "The Old" Took of The Shire. She was an adventurous soul who was friends with Gandalf before she and Bungo died during Fell Winter. She makes an appearance in The Hobbit Extended Version.
Belladonna, aka Deadly Nightshade, is a very incredibly poisonous flowering herb. It has bell-shaped purple flowers and black berries. It can grow to be 4-5 feet tall (1.5 meters). Its dried leaves and roots are used to create sedatives with occasional side effects. Eating only 2 of the berries can kill a child and 10-20 berries can kill an adult. They can cause heart attacks, skin irritation, blurry vision, fever, inability to urinate or sweat, hallucinations, spasms, and coma. Belladonna flowers represent silence, falsehood, and death.
6. Lobelia
Lobelia Sackville-Baggins, born Lobelia Bracegirdle, is the resented family member of Frodo and Bilbo Baggins. She is the wife of Otho Sackville-Baggins and the mother of Lotho Sackville-Baggins. Lobelia is known for wanting to steal Bag End and has successfully stolen Bilbo's silverware and was so rude to Samwise Gamgee in the books that Frodo Baggins refused to offer her tea.
Lobelias are an annual herb with many varieties. They tend to be red, pink, white, and commonly blue. Lobelias are also known as pukeweed because doctors used to use them to induce vomiting. Their young buds can be cooked and eaten but is ill-advised. Lobelias are easy-to-grow carefree plants that enjoy cool weather and need frequent watering in warmer weather. They are popularly used in hanging baskets. They represent love, prosperity, and good luck.
7. Rose
Rose "Rosie" Gamgee, born Rose Cotton, is a hobbit lass in The Lord of the Rings. She works as a barmaid at The Green Dragon. Samwise Gamgee fancies her, and Frodo Baggins encourages it. She attends Bilbo's birthday party where Frodo insists Sam needs to ask her for a dance. She later marries Samwise and has 13 children named Elanor the Fair, Frodo, Rose, Merry, Pippin, Goldilocks, Hamfast, Daisy, Primrose, Bilbo, Ruby, Robin, and Tolman.
Rose Gamgee is the daughter of Rose and Samwise Gamgee with her mother's namesake. She does not make a movie appearance.
Roses are round multipetaled flowers that grow on spikey thorn bushes. They come in red, pink, yellow, white, purple, and green, with other genetically modified colors such as black, blue, and orange. They prefer loam soil and full sun, but full sun can bleach them and cause the color to fade. Partial shade can reduce fading but will result in smaller buds. Rose petals are edible and are said to be sweet. Soaking the petals in water creates rose water which can improve skin and gut health. Different colored roses represent different things such as red roses meaning romantic love, yellow roses meaning friendship love, and blue roses meaning mysteriousness.
8. Primrose or Primula
Primrose Gamgee is one of the daughters of Sam and Rose Gamgee. She does not make a movie appearance.
Primula Baggins, born Primula Brandybuck, is the wife of Drogo Baggins and the mother of Frodo Baggins. She and Drogo drowned during a boating accident on the Brandywine River when Frodo was young, leaving him to live with his cousins in Brandy Hall for many years until Bilbo Baggins took him in. She does not make a movie appearance.
Primrose, also known as primula, is a popular garden flower. They have course heart-shaped petals and thick stocks. They come in yellow, red, pink, purple, and white. They have yellow centers. They are poisonous with tiny hairs on the stem that can cause blistering. They prefer partial sun and moist, well-drained, acidic soil. They represent spring, protection, safety, and love.
9. Marigold
Marigold Cotton, born Marigold Gamgee, is the youngest child of Hamfast Gamgee and Belle Goodchild and is the sister to Hamson, Halfred, Daisy, May, and Samwise Gamgee. She later marries Tolman Cotton or Rose Cotton's brother. She is at Bilbo's birthday party, and she is also in The Lord of the Rings Online video game.
Marigold flowers are bright orange and yellow flowers that are round and puff to be spheres. They prefer partial to full sun and warm climates. They can easily self-seed and will most likely return annually. All parts of marigolds are edible from stems to roots to petals; they are even edible raw. They are said to taste sweet or sometimes savory. They have a very pungent scent that repels mosquitos, cabbage worms, whiteflies, and wild rabbits. Marigolds represent power, strength, passion, creativity, the brevity of life, and yellow marigolds can sometimes mean grief or jealousy.
10. Daisy
Daisy Gamgee is the daughter of Hamfast Gamgee and sister to Hamson, Halfred, May, Marigold, and Samwise Gamgee. She does not make a movie appearance.
Daisy Gamgee is also the name of Samwise and Rose Gamgee's daughter. She is named after her aunt. She does not make a movie appearance.
Daisies are white flowers with yellow centers. They can grow from 10 inches to a few feet tall with different variations. Their petals can be frilly, fluffy, or ruffled. They have serrated leaves. They prefer full sun and moist yet well-drained. They grow from summer to fall. They are the international symbol of innocence and purity.
11. Goldilocks
Goldilocks Took, born Goldilocks Gamgee, is the third daughter of Samwise and Rose Gamgee. She later marries Peregrin Took's son Faramir Took. She does not make a movie appearance.
Goldilocks, aka Creepy Jenny or Moneywart, are hanging ferns that have vines of shiny heart-shaped leaves. During mid-spring to summer, they sprout yellow flowers. They can grow up 4 inches (10 cm) tall. They like moist yet well-drained soil and full to partial sun (though definitely partical sun if in hot weather). They are generally deer and pest resistant. They are nontoxic and can be used for herbal teas if desidered though it is not common. It was once used to help "cure" whooping cough. It is known as "good medicine for all diseases".
Goldilocks can also mean a group of buttercup flowers. Buttercup flowers are small yellow flowers with yellow puffed centers. They can have anywhere between 0 to 23 petals. They are often fine with full sun or partial sun but are pickier with their soil by preferring it to be light, cool, and well-drained. They have thick layers of yellow pigment, but they catch air under the layers which causes the flowers to become glossy and shiny. They are often considered weeds. Buttercups are extremely poisonous and can cause blistering of the mouth. They represent joy, youth, purity, happiness, and friendship.
Goldilocks Rocks Bidens, aka Bidens or Spanish Needles, is another type of goldilocks. They are yellow and/or orange flowers with dark yellow centers. They prefer full sun for at least 6 hours a day, partial sun for 4-6 hours a day, and up to 4 hours of full shade. They can grow up to 14 inches (35.56 cm) and prefer moist soil. There are no reports of toxicity, but they are not traditionally eaten. They are excellent for pollinators but are considered weeds. It is part of the aster family and means "two teeth".
9. Gold Berry
Goldberry is the lovely wife of Tom Bombadil. She appears in The Adventures of Tom Bombadil and is later sung about by Bombadil in The Lord of the Rings with his song "Hey,Dol! Merry Dol!". She was portrayed in the movies, but she was later cut. She is known as the "River-woman's Daughter" and is described as being beautiful, youthful, and blonde.
Gold Berries, also known as goldenberries and cape gooseberries, are flowering plants that produce small orange fruits. Their flowers are yellow with brown in the center. They grow in hot and humid weather such as in Australia, South Africa, India, Malaysia, and The Philippines. They are oftened eaten and attacked by cutworms, red spiders, and potato tuber moths. Their fruits are often used for pies, sauces, puddings, jams, and ice cream.

I'm back with more Time Travel AUs because my brain won't stop having silly little ideas. There are some I really would like to read, others are just silly or self-indulgent.
Part One
After Merry and Pippin flee into Fangorn Forest from the Uruk-Hai they come across a couple in the woods. One of the two people is definitely an elf - taller than any other they had seen before - while the other looks not even closely like anything they had ever seen before. Unsure if it would be wise to approach the couple the two Hobbits have a little argument. In the end they agree on not going any closer and continue on their way. When they meet Treebeard not much later they tell him of their strange sighting. The ent then becomes very quiet and refuses to give them an answer. They never learn who exactly they saw.
Young Fëanor and Fingolfin stumble into Rivendell one fateful midsummer night while the entire household is in the hall of fire listening to songs and enjoying the evening. The two newcomers try to find their way around the valley, nearly fall off one of the definitely not childproof bridges while trying their best not to yell at eachother in the meantime. Eventually they make their way to the open doors of the Hall of Fire and enter it in the exact moment that one of the bards sings about Fingolfins fight against Morgoth and his heroic death - in Quenya for whatever reason - and while Fingolfin goes through several states of shock while Fëanor is just like: I knew Melkor was evil! Of ourse all hell breaks loose once the people of Rivendell realise who just crashed their party.
When Thorin and Co travel through Mirkwood there is one instance where Bilbo believes to sees a rider on a horse between the shadows under the trees. Too surprised to say anything Bilbo can do nothing but stare and when the rider - looking nothing like any men, elf or dwarf Bilbo has ever seen - looks directly at him, there is something like a higher presence feeling for him. "Who are you, little fellow? Not a creature of darkness, not an animal but not a child of the One either..." he hears an alien voice speak in his head but before Bilbo can answer the figure vanishes and he finds himself back amongst the dwarves who tell him that he just passed out. He forgets to about this instance but many years later when he arrives in Valinor and meets Oromë for the first time, both of them cannot help but stare at eachother in wonder and recognition.
When the gray company, Legolas and Gimli come out the path of the dead they find themselves not in Gondor but in front of the gates of Gondolin. Turgon is both very pleased to meet his great-great-grandchildren and very much concerned about everything else regarding the situation. Maeglin is happy to have found a new smithing buddy in Gimli and Tuor's excited to meet other Edain. Aragorn meanwhile is having a mental breakdown because he was supposed to go saving the people of Gondor and now he somehow ended up in Gondolin.
During his wanderings Túrin comes upon a small peaceful land, full of small happy people who invite him for dinner and a good night's sleep. He finds a good friend in a young woman called Belladonna, who is one of the three daughters of his host and is even allowed to watch her young son from time to time. But once he gets comfortable enough that he considers staying (given that he hasn't caused a death in like two months) he suddenly finds himself in the forest he wandered before, unable to find a way back.
The day Boromir dies he opens his eyes once again but finds staring at a sunny sky in the open and not the leaves of the forest he died in. He just lies there as in trance until someone leans over him and asks "Atanalcar are you okay?" With that he at once realises that he has somehow ended up as the second son of King Elros of Númenor and that the man leaning over him with a worried expression is most likely one of his (er Atanalcar's?) brothers. Manwendil on the other hand is convinced that the damage his brother took when he fell of his horse did something to his memory. Bonus points if Boromir and Atanalcar are somehow sharing the same body and Atanalcar has to deal with Boromir getting overly excited about anything Numenorean while trying not to have a mental breakdown over the fact that their kingdom somehow doesn't exist anymore, like 'Boromir, what was that about s great flood?!'
Isildur is in the Middle of the the last fight against Sauron when he is suddenly transported into the third age and stuck... Inside of a tree? He is very confused for a moment especially when he hears silly singing and the practically catapulted out of the tree again. Turns out he landed in the old forest during the same time the Hobbits are there. This has two consequences 1) Frodo and co have a new traveling companion and 2) Isildur adopted a bunch of tiny adult men and feels like this is his chance to destroy the enemies weapon. Bonus points for him meeting literally everyone.

A/N: finally got around to a written part. Don’t worry, there’s much more to come! Enjoy my loves!
This is it…
Jungkook stands before the door of his possibly to-be apartment, loitering in the hallways as sudden lightning strikes his nerves. Up until five minutes ago, he was fine — eager even, but it’s when he arrived that he felt like he was hit by a bus. Worries buzz around in his head, doubting if he’ll be able to pretend to be someone he’s not.
But he needs this. No longer does he wish to live in the dorms; growing tired of the constant women doing the walk of shame after a night with one of his hyungs, the arguing over stupid shit and the near-constant one party a week. He’d never tell anyone, though. They would think something is wrong with him had he mentioned not enjoying something he used to love oh-so-dearly.
Maybe he isn’t tired of his lifestyle at all, maybe he just needs a change of scenery. He just thinks it’d be nice to escape the wildness that is his frat, get some much needed peace and quiet in his own space with no one bitching at him.
Tuesday and Wednesday seemed to pass in a blur, filled with Jungkook’s usual routine of attending Uni, hanging out with friends, calling up a booty call — the basics mixed within. Same old routine, the day after the same as the last. So it’s not too far-fetched that he’s eager for a change in his mundane day-to-day.
He breathes out a sigh, giving himself a mental pep talk before he squares his shoulders and stands tall and confident before reaching his tattooed hand up to knock at the door.
There’s the sound of some shuffling before a muffled, feminine voice yells out a “one sec!” and then follows the sound of faint footsteps. Jungkook backs away from the door slightly, giving you room to open the door. You do so with a bright grin, and Jungkook can feel sudden dread settle within his stomach.
Jungkook observes how your bright smile makes your eyes twinkle in turn, pearly white teeth almost blinding. You’re quite a few inches shorter from what he can tell from first glance, but he finds himself liking that fact; no doubt he’ll tease you endlessly if this works out. Your hair falls in waves down your shoulders, so soft-looking and silky he has the urge to run his hands through the tresses.
She’s gorgeous, Jungkook thinks in slight awe, but quick to snap himself out of it and hide what he was feeling behind a friendly mask. But she’s off-limits, He reminds himself bitterly, sudden annoyance bubbling in his veins for Taehyung’s stupid lie.
“Hi,” You greet him, a bag of chips in your hands before you realize he’s still standing in the hall and you shuffle further into the apartment to allow him to enter.
“Hey,” Jungkook greets back, quickly scanning your body — you’re dressed minimally, with nothing but a loose shirt and a pair of lounge shorts and he feels the dread deepen — followed quickly by the apartment and he deems it a nice place.
It’s not too girly. He had expected more feminine objects, art and colors, but it was fairly modern, with some splashes of pastel colors to give the place a warm feeling. It’s cozy, and despite how he likes your decoration, he knew if he’d move in, he would add his own touch but not take away any of your feminine charm.
He watches as you set the bag on the coffee table as you both enter the living room before spinning on your heel to face him again, a gentle smile making your face light up and Jungkook can’t help his own smile that curls on the edges of his lips; your smile is as contagious as it is pretty.
“So!” you start, gesturing with your arms to the surrounding space with a soft laugh. “Welcome to my home and possibly yours, too.”
You then show him around the rest of the place; starting with the kitchen, then the bathroom, followed by the two bedrooms and then, lastly, your small office. The sight of the office makes him tilt his head, taking in the place that’s filled with game trinkets, double monitors and some RGB lights from the keyboard and the LED lights.
“What’s this for?” Jungkook asks, excitement bubbling beneath the surface at the prospect of you being a gamer like he is. He’d met girls who played video games, but no one that could relate to his love of first-person shooters or competitive games. Girls he talked to were more interested in games like Stardew Valley, The Sims or even as far as Otome Games and Dating Sims. In conclusion; nothing of his interest, which brought him some disappointment.
When he glances at you, you appear bashful, playing with the end of your hair with one hand as you shuffle on your feet and avoid his eyes. He concludes by studying this display that you’re cute too — hot and cute. God, what is he getting himself into?
“Um,” He’s broken out of his daze by your soft utterance. He arches a brow, staying silent and waiting for you to continue, because he knows there's more. “I’m an amateur influencer,” you gesture with your hands as if it’d help you explain.
“Influencer?” He questions, turning his gaze back to the setup and only now does he notice the camera near the PC.
“A Youtuber, or trying to be anyway…” You trail off, shrugging your shoulders as you scrutinize his reaction. All you manage to get from him are raised eyebrows and lips parting in wonder.
You both then move to shuffle back to the living room after he had assured you he thinks it’s cool that you dream big. A conversation then ensues about both your love for games and music, finding out in this short period that you actually have quite a bit in common.
“So,” you say as you move to sit on the couch, Jungkook follows close behind but leaving a space between you both. There’s nothing but silence for a couple moments, both of you seeming to get distracted by the show that was playing on the TV — the same one you were watching before he had knocked on the door.
“What’s the verdict?” You finally utter, peeling your gaze away from the flat screen to rest on the male sitting on the opposite side of the couch. Now that he wasn't looking at you, you take the opportunity to study him; his wide doe-eyes that seem to sparkle in infinite wonder, the delicate curve of his nose leading down to the arch of his cupid's bow, and then his thin but soft-looking petal pink lips that glisten when he runs his tongue over them. Somehow, he’s got a masculine but baby face and you deem it endearing (you brushed off the thoughts of him being attractive, feeling guilty for having such thoughts when you have a boyfriend whom you love).
Jungkook hums, leaning back further into the couch as if he was thinking it over, when really, it was a no-brainer. Despite the struggles he may go through with having a stupidly hot roommate, he knows it’s worth it. “I think I’ll take it,” He finally says, turning his gaze back onto you who grins when you hear his answer.
“Awesome! Then should we go over rules we’d like to establish?”
And this was how Jeon Jungkook found himself willingly pushed into his personal hell. He couldn't have imagined the sheer struggle he would go through following this period, and god does he sometimes regret his situation.
But he would never realize, not in his wildest imagination, the shit this woman would put him through, and he? Oh, he’s totally fucked.

Chapter 1: The Beginning after the End
The smell of iron lingers in the air. Muffled cries of pain and rage are dancing over the battlefield. Salty tears are rolling down her cheeks. Leaving light trails between the blood and dirt on her skin. Holding a familiar person in her arms. With shaking hands she gently brushes a dark strain of hair out of the kings eyes. His breathing is weak.
„Thorin, you damn stubborn dwarf! You can’t die now! Pull yourself together.“ A heavy sobbing shakes the little hobbit.
Azog is dead, so why, why couldn’t Thorin live to celebrate this victory?
Rough fingers brushing over her cheeks, as if they want to wipe away the tears, the sadness.
„Bella, Bell… don’t cry, my dear.“ Thorin looks her in the eyes. A small smile on his lips. He wants to help her ease the pain, make her feel better. He wants to tell her how he feels, now, that he finally is ‚King under the mountain‘ again. Now that he is worthy of this kind little hobbit. Now, that it is to late. Her crying breaks his heart and lets his soul ache.
„You know I am not very good at comforting, amrâlimê.“ With his last strength Thorin sits up and kisses his hobbit. He wouldn’t want to leave her, not like this, not crying.
Absent minded Bellas fingers touch her lips. How long has it been? One year? Two? No, longer, a lot longer. Her eyesight isn’t as good as it used to be. She can’t take long trips anymore and her memories begin to slip away.
„Bella… Belladonna.“ Startled turns the hobbit around.
„Lord Elrond. What can I do for you? Is it time to go already?“ The elve smiles gently down on her. He hasn’t aged one bit in all the time she had spend with him.
„Yes my dear, I believe it is time to go. We are the last ones to board a ship.“
She stares a moment into his eyes, searching for a hint of… of what? With a deep sight she turns back to the window. The boats had already left or where about to leave. The fog over the lake was getting thicker and thicker as time goes by.
Another deep sight left her mouth. Unconsciously her fingers reach up to her lips again to lightly brush over them.
The hobbit rummages through her pockets to hand a heavy letter over to Lord Elrond. In clear black letters the names of Lord Elrond’s twin sons where written on the envelop.
„Give them the letter once you boarded the boat and you are to far from the shore to turn around.
I will miss those two. You of course as well, Lord Elrond. But I have a feeling that this shouldn’t be. Even thought all my traveling and adventures, I still haven‘t found my place. Maybe I never will.“ With a sad smile on her face she stands up, grabs her backpack and leaves. Hoping that he would understand, but knowing she herself didn’t either.
Belladonna Baggins knew she couldn’t go back to the shire. Bag End, the home her father Bungo Baggings build for her mother wasn’t anymore hers, it wasn’t home. Home was somewhere else, somewhere, maybe someone…
Neither could she go to the lonely mountain. To many memories would await her there and only few of them where good. Her fingertips brushes her lips again, before she angrily banishes them into one of her pockets.
Mirkwood wasn’t that pleasant either, so maybe… yeah, why not. Somewhere where she hasn’t been before. Somewhere without memories, with lots of adventures. Somewhere where the earth is still singing.
A shy smile on her face, Sting on her side and a wooden stick in one hand Bella starts wandering to the woods where tree giants, ents, said to be living.
While feeling a familiar joy rising in her heart the smile on her face widens and the stick in her hand starts growing little leafs and flowers. The grass under her feet seems to grow greener and healthier, while the flowers start to bloom and are tilting their heads towards the humming hobbit.
Between two large oaks Bella set camp for the night.
Her trip didn’t took as long as expected. She reached the forest a week earlier. The journey wasn’t much of an adventure either, she didn’t encounter orcs or wargs, nor trolls. Apart from some minor obstacles like wolves and your every day bandits it was a rather pleasant trip.
Leaning with the back on the rough bark of the oak the hobbit looks up into the starry night-sky. Searching through her memories she found what she was looking for. The memory of a similar night. She was on the road for not more than roughly a few month, together with Thorin and his company. They didn’t light a fire, as it was warm enough without. Just like tonight. Bofur had first watch. With a sad smile she remembers how she tossed and turned that evening, until she finally gave up and joined Bofur. He had been smoking his pipe, silently starring into the night. With that ridiculous hat of his, which he never seemed to take of. That night he wasn’t joking around with her. They both had a lot to think about.
As Bella opens her eyes, she could almost see the sleeping dwarves in front of her. Fíli and Kíli, right next to each other, always worried that they would wake up alone. Bifur, muttering in Khuzdul and sometimes kicking at the invisible enemies. Bombur, who seems to eat even in his sleep. Nori and Dori, tucked together with Ori in their middle. Gloin, Oin and Balin right next to an overhang, snoring one louder than the next. Dwalin, not far from Thorin, the weapon always in reach, ready to protect his king and friends. And Thorin, sleeping without a sound, no movement and even frowning in his sleep. Worrying about more than he should. At first the snoring, the movement and muttering had irritated her, but soon she couldn’t find sleep without these familiar sounds. It is one of those memories that would help Bella sleep. Help her to ease the pain in her heart.
With a sight she closes her eyes for a moment. Holding back the tears she lets the image fade away. A growling not far from her left lets her freeze in the very moment. She knows this particular sound. Warc. Slowly her fingers creep over the ground to reach the hilt of Sting. Her eyes are searching the darkness for a sign of danger. Two dim glowing eyes are penetrating her from where the sound came from. Her back against the tree Bella stands up, not breaking eye-contact with the foul creature.
“Well, well, well. Who do we have here?” a voice like metal on stone.
An Orc, uglier than the ones Bella saw before, steps into the moonlight. The blue shining blade in one and her staff in the other hand she eyes the creature.
“No answer? Well, none needed. We had specific orders for whom we are looking for. An old hobbit lass.” A screeching sound echos through the woods. It might have been a laugh.
“With something very special in her possession. A ring. Give it us! Give it!”
Bella is running. Running for her life.
Another arrow misses her just barely, setting the tree in front of her on fire. A howl from behind motivates her to run faster. Smoke stings in her eyes and lungs, making it hard to breathe. Half blind she lets her feelings guide her. The trees all around are screaming in pain. The forest is burning.
With her last strength, she climbs an old tree.
“I am sorry. I am so sorry! This is all my fault. They where right. I am poisonous, always bringing bad luck to all around me.” The words were no more than a whisper, hidden behind heavy sobbing. The tears just wouldn’t stop flowing and the screams got only louder.
For the second time this night Bella freezes, as someone right next to her clears his throat.
“My dear, not all poisons are only used to kill. With the right dose and understanding they can become the best cure.”
With a shocked squeak Bella lets go of the branch she was holding on to. A large hand catches her in the middle of falling and places her gently back on a save spot.
“What is a child of Yavanna doing here in my forest?” wise eyes are looking at her from between the bark, moss and branches.
“My, my name is Belladonna Baggins, Mister Ent. I came here looking for a place to stay, a place filled with life and the grace of our creator. I was hoping to meet an Onodrim like yourself. Sadly all I found where Orcs, Warcs and bad luck. And again I managed to poison the things I love. It is my fault that the forest is burning. I am so very sorry for this, Master Ent. I regret that I ever set foot out of my door. If it wasn’t for me, they all would have lived.”
The ent listens to her, moving slowly out of the raging fire. Bella clings to the bark, heavily sniveling, finally letting all the tears flow, together with the pain, grief and sadness.
A sudden pain in her chest ends the weeping of the hobbit lass. An arrow hit her from behind and all the way through. Disbelief fills her eyes, followed by pain. She tries to scream, but only muffled sound come out. Hard she hits the ground. In a split second the orc archer gets smashed by a giant wooden hand, the warc kicked against a tree. The screaming of the surrounding trees is getting quieter, till it is completely still. The giant face of the ent appears in her field of vision, only a small distance between them. As Bella tries to say something, only a cough and some blood comes out. Pain rages from her chest and back through her body, blurring her vision. The question of the ent she could only hear like he was speaking into a pillow.
“Child, you are blessed by the goddess Yavanna. I will help you, take this chance and change your fated path. In return, I want you to take this with you. I want you to plant the hope of our race.”
Gently he places a small object in her cold hand. She couldn’t really see it, but what does it matter? Again she tries to speak. Another cough makes her spit blood. Her vision goes dark and she can’t hear the last words of the ent. What did he mean, another chance?
‘If I could just see his face one more time, I’ll die a happy death. I am sure. All I want is nothing more but to hear you knocking on my door. I would give it my all to do better next time. All and everything of me.’ She sends her silent prayers to Yavanna.
Strangely the memories of her first encounter with the grey wizard pops into her mind. The picture of a familiar hole forms in her head.
In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort. It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with paneled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill—The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another. No going upstairs for the hobbit: bedrooms, bathrooms, cellars, pantries (lots of these), wardrobes (she had whole rooms devoted to clothes), kitchens, dining-rooms, all were on the same floor, and indeed on the same passage. The best rooms were all on the left-hand side (going in), for these were the only ones to have windows, deep-set round windows looking over her garden, and meadows beyond, sloping down to the river.
A knocking on the door made her look up from the book she was reading.
A guest? At this hour?
Slowly the small Hobbit stood up to answer the door.
„Dwalin, at your service.“ A dwarf. A dwarf on her doorstep.
A dwarf she knew a long time ago. A dwarf who died in battle, proudly swinging his weapon.
With a blank stare she scanned the dwarf.
‚Oh Yavanna, how cruel of you‘
Another moment the hobbit stood in the half open door, slowly realizing what was happening. In her empty eyes a spark lit up, after a long and cold winter. A single teardrop ran down her cheek, breaking her numbness.
„You are alive?“ She whispered under her breath.
Before Dwalin could react the small hobbit jumped at him, hugging the big warrior and sobbing at his chest.
A dream, it must be a dream. Maybe Yavanna granted her this dream to mend the crack in her heart. And even if it was just an illusion, she would be more than happy just to see them again. But still, for a dream this was kinda real.
Embarrassed she separates herself from the confused dwarf, wiping away the tears.
“Please, do come in, supper is almost ready. Would you be so kind and leave your shoes near the door? What is with the others? Are they all coming?!” Followed by an even more confused dwarf she heads to the dining room, seating him on the long table.
“Please do wait a moment. I will have to empty my whole pantry to feed thirteen dwarves and a wizard. We also have to save some for Thorin, as he will be running late.” Muttering to herself the hobbit lass vanishes in the direction of the pantry, leaving Dwalin behind. Another knock at the door announces the presence of an additional visitor.
“Master Dwalin, would you be so kind to answer the door? I have my hands full.”
Dazed the tattooed dwarf stands up to answer the door. In the meantime Bella sets the table and prepares some dishes that are easy and fast made.
“Evening, brother!” it echoes through the hallway, followed by the sound of two heads banging together. A dwarf with a long white beard enters the dining room and bows.
“Balin, at your service.” He states.
“It is good to see you again, Master Balin. Please bring the remaining food from the pantry here. I will have to answer the door. Fíli and Kíli will help you move the table.” She cleans her hands on a piece of clothes and goes to open the door for the two younger dwarves of the line of Durin.
“Fíli and Kíli, at your service!” both of them look so young.
Bella has to suppress another flood of tears, as she sees these two familiar dwarves. Before she could restrain the reflex, she hugs both tightly.
Hasty she lets go, brushing her hair out of her eyes and wiping the tears away. To stop her voice from cracking she clears her throat.
“You can leave your shoes and weapons here. I will have to excuse myself to look after the supper.” As she hurries towards the kitchen she scolds herself for reacting like this. They might think she is mad, or worse, unsociable.
Dwalin stops the two irritated dwarf lads from shouting questions at their host by assigning some tasks to them. He even answers the door a second time, just to find the eight missing dwarves literally falling inside. Behind them an amused Gandalf.
They are, as she remembered them, loud and not very well mannered. Yet as familiar as her own home. While the dwarves ate and drank, Bella was busy refilling the glasses and pints, restocking the empty plates on the table and keeping an eye on the portion she saved for their leader.
Gandalf watched the hobbit lass for the better part of the evening. She seems to behave strange, offbeat from the day before. Somehow like she became a different person over night.
She didn’t even flinch when they threw the dishes through the halls, only a slight smile on her face. Also she looks like glowing from time to time, nearly magical… Well, maybe he made a mistake.
Gandalf wasn’t the only one watching Bella. Dwalin, Balin and most of the company eyed the hobbit with curiosity and interest. How would she know about them?
They all went quiet as a someone knocked at the door.
There he was. Standing on her doorstep as if this was their first meeting. Broad shoulders that look like carrying the problems of the world. Sharp blue eyes, that pierce through hers, dark hair with some braids. Sadly without the small bells Bella gifted him.
“Gandalf… You said this place was easy to find. I got lost. Twice.” Completely ignoring the host of this home Thorin enters the hobbit hole.
“So this is the hobbit?” His attention shifts to Bella. “Tell me Mistress Baggins, have you done much fighting? Axe or Sword? What is your preferred weapon?”
Bella watches him, unsure how to answer.
“Thought as much, she looks more like a grocer than a burglar. And a lass non the less…”
“If this is a joke, it is of very poor taste!” She angrily stares up to Thorin. The relief and disbelief turns into anger. With her finger she pokes into Thorins chest, ignoring how muscular he is.
“After all we went through? You think you can just cast that aside? Do you have no shame? Do you even know how much I suffered? Just because you were to proud and stubborn to accept help!” With every sentence she pokes him again, urging him to take a step back.
“This wasn’t funny the first time and it won’t be…”
A whispered comment interrupts her angry speech. Bellas burning gaze finds Bofur.
“Oh, so you think I am cute when I am angry? Well, get ready because I’m about to be GORGEOUS!”
The whole company flinches under the angry gaze of the little hobbit. As she turns around she finds Thorin taking another step back.
“The wild is no place for gentle folk who can neither fight nor fend for themselves.” He tries to allay her anger.
The gate broke and the tears are rolling down her face. Her anger has vanished and a sharp pain strikes within her heart. This was no dream, no illusion or trick of her mind. Nor was she in Yavanna’s garden. Something happened to her. It isn’t them who are acting curious, it is her.
“This isn’t possible.” She takes a step towards Thorin. Careful she touches his cheek, looking him doubtful in the eyes, as if he could vanish any moment right before her eyes.
“Y-you are okay?” she gasps quietly, one hand over her mouth.
“How in the world is this possible? By Yavanna, what is going on? No, this is wrong…” unsteady she takes a small step back, then she faints.

Idol Sibling Appreciation
3 days ago we asked netisims to send idols with siblings who also work in the idol industry or just who netisims were surprised to see they were related to another idol. This post may end up lengthy as we had a lot of answers!
(Instead of one of my trash explanations I decided to use whatever examples I got from certain people and go off of that to make it cuter?)
Dani & Alec (WannaSul)
@/minstoenail: “@k-simsent ‘s Danielle Mongkol and Alec Mongkol. I didn't know freckles were a genetic thing, but they have the same smile it's really scary? Other than that they don't look too related. Alec wasn't born in Bangkok like dani was too, they're both cuties though."
Harley & Maia (Bilingual)
@/duexlingual: "@monarchy-entertainment-sims 's Huang Harley and Huang Maia. The huang sisters need to be appreciated most definitely. they're both in bilingual together and they model together a whole lot. I DID NOT THINK siblings could get along so damn well."
Honey (Former Gold Crush) & Minji (XX)
@/24kgmagic: "@k-simsent 's Park HyeonJu and Park MinJi. Honey has like a ton of siblings apparently, i wonder if any more of them are idols too? Minji gained attention quick because she looked like Honey... but either way they seem to be really close. I hope they make a dance video together at least once."
Junmoney (NextGen) & Jiaho (BiLinGual)
@/downwithmonarcy: “@monarchy-entertainment-sims 's Junmoney and Jiaho. Junmoney's in next gen, jiaho's in bilingual. I saw that their family's like super f***ing rich, like the richest in china. A plus is: they're both great rappers/soloists and they're like extremely close too! Sometimes they help produce each other's songs.”
Jieun & Wooyoung (Lost Boys)
@/foundboys: “@globalsimsnetwork 's Kim Jieun and Kim Wooyoung. Jieun is like 3 years older than Wooyoung and known for going in and out of multiple companies and also being Wooyoung’s older sis. Wooyoung is known for formerly being a cosplayer and now the main vocalist of Lost Sims. I know that Jieun’s a brat to Wooyoung but they love each other sometimes so it’s all good.”
Junseo (5oul) & Hanbi
@/junseo5seoul: “@neverlandent 's Junseo and Hanbi. They do not look related at all, but i would KILL for a sibling to back me up the way Hanbi did when Junseo was outted. Hanbi is a queen and Junseo deserves the world and that is period."
Leiko & Keiko (Sunbeam)
@/kokolee: "@k-simsent 's Sone Leiko and Keiko. Leiko debuted before Keiko but Keiko is more known now. They are both charming in their own way, Keiko likes to sing more then rap and Leiko likes to rap more. If they did a song together it would be a instant hit.”
Masami (Infinity Girls) & Kanano
@/itouxitou: “@mnemosynententertainment 's Itou twins. The twins are the most known of the Itou family. They are the weirdest of the siblings too, Kanano said her and her sister once talked about opening up a Mortuary if they didn't become famous. FINally found people with personalities outside of being idols.”
Miyun (NovaGirls) & Hyori (DayDream)
@/nglovesstaries: “Kim Miyun is related to Kim Hyori from @belladonna-entertainment ! Yes, our baby Miyun from NovaGirls is Daydream’s Hyori’s sister. They don’t look alike but I have inside source that they were born together (like years apart) so don’t @ me on this one. They’re both really talented so f***.”
Suki & Yoko (Intruders)
@/okoyoko02: ”@redstrikeentertainment ‘s Asuka Suki and Asuka Yoko. Suki made a name for herself having been kicked out of Moonlight. She has been rumored to be with a new company, which isn't about this. Her little sister Yoko is much different. Yoko had a YouTube channel called OneYoko, but went on a hiatus because of her joining RedStrike. She is referred to as the "the prettier sister", both in looks and personality. Surprisingly, Yoko has opened up about her sister Suki, her bringing a bad tone to the Asuka name, and has expressed missing her sister a lot. They were really close before. Even though it haven't been a interaction between them for a long time, the Asuka sisters is already known in Korea.”
Sunghyo (B.O.S.S.) & Sunhyon (DayDream)
@/pprmimi: ”@belladonna-entertainment has lots of siblings in their company! The first one that would come to mind is Lee Sunhyon from daydream and Lee Sunghyo. Sunghyo’s announced to be on B.O.S.S., so I luckily won’t get reported for sending in this photo!”
Wonyong & SooIn (S&S)
@/boolue99: “@eden-ent ‘s Pyo Wonyong and Na SooIn. This maaaaay be a big hunch but these two look too much alike to not be siblings. Which is weird because SooIn’s father and mother were/are both really popular actors, yet they only expressed having one SooIn? This photo was taken by a Wonyong fansite and our Wonyong doesn’t seem like the type to cheat after having outed her relationship in the first place.”
「NETISIMS COMMENTS」
[+2394, -187] Every single idol here is so attractive? I WANT A HOT SIBLING
[+1994, -594] The amount of upvotes for the first comment is so alarming..
[+1339, -1001] So, Na Jaehyun might be the father of Pyo Wonyong and you guys are talking about potentially wanting to f*** your hot sibling?? I want to know more about that, because WonP does look really similar to actor Na Jaehyun, like more than his daughter.
[+857, -304] Idols are either really poor, have very sad backgrounds or really rich.
[+594, -239] You think Junseo’s parents dropped him for being gay?
[+201, -444] I think every artist at mnem are just freaks?? I swear Mnemosyne’s trainees have scarier idol facts everytime they’re mentioned.
