i saw you collect clown shit I'm being a clown for Halloween can I see 👀
SCREAMING AND CRYING!!!! YES ID LOVE TO SHOW YOU!!! IM BEING A CLOWN FOR HALLOWEEN TOO!!! THANK YOU FOR ASKING ME ABOUT MY CLOWN STUFF <333333333
Tumblr media
This is my clown suit, which is hand-made out of 2 colorful blankets and a pillowcase, i free handed most of it and also hand stitched about 60% of it because my sewing machine broke mid-project. (Just a heads up while we’re still at the top, this post is gonna be loooooooooooong and have a lot of pictures, also sorry for how gross the carpet looks he’s just like that)
Tumblr media
This is my circus tent juice box
Tumblr media
This is my costume drawer, where I cram as much stuff as I can fit, it’s pretty full so I’ll just show you my favorite stuff.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are the highlights, my googley-eye ring, the first clown mask I made, the first party hat I made, my diy ruffled wrist cuffs and collar, and my jewelry hoard.
Tumblr media
These are my clowns, which are both hand sewn, they’re names are Butterbean (left) and Corn (right). Butterbeans face was smudged by some water, I’ll get around to fixing it soon.
Tumblr media
These are all the little trinkets I keep with them, things I find that I consider clownish. Most of these were picked up from dollar stores, thrift stores, stoop sales, giveaways or relatives homes. There’s a lot so I’ll just show my favorites.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are my rubber reptiles, my tardigrade and monster finger-puppets, my wind up toys, and some bouncy balls and jingle bells.
Tumblr media
This is my doorway decoration.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are my other accessories that don’t fit in the costume drawer. My collection of silly sunglasses, my second favorite vest, this lovely sweater, and of course the essential clown nose and bow tie.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are my clown shoes. These rubber boots have tragically become far too small for me, so I’m saving them untill my cousins are older. The rainbow sneakers are only for special occasions because they hurt my feet and Im trying to protect the color.
Tumblr media
Land lastly, this is my favorite sculpture, I made it a few years ago.
All these were collected over the past 3ish years, a-lot of pieces were hand made or found in cheap stores, when I go out I keep my eyes peeled for anything clownish and that’s why I’ve managed to grow my hoard so large lol. If anyone reading wants to use the pictures for something (a mood board, a collage, whatever), tag me so I can see it!!!! Thanks for sending me this ask :o) I literally jumped out of bed as soon as I got it because I am a weapons-grade weirdo and love to talk about clowns
Have a lovely day and a happy Halloween!!!

Alright we got to talk about the seeming "replacement" to the Animator's Collection Mini dolls Disney has just revealed cause...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I got a couple bones to pick.
For reference this is what the Animator's Collection Minis looked like
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Massive downgrade.
To start, do the proportions look off on the Once Upon a Story (OUAS) dolls to anybody else? Especially Belle? The torso looks far too short for the legs. And Rapunzel is too tall to fit under the tent accessory she comes with!
It's important for me to note also that the Animator's Collection Minis have knee articulation, while the OUAS only have the basic points.
And...what happened to Ariel, like, in general.
Tumblr media
What's going on with that outfit? That hair? For the promo pictures they couldn't have at least brushed it? And her tail goes up to her chest. And that top...I don't even know where to start.
All of these dolls appear to have the same body as well. One of my favorite things about the Animator's Collection Minis is that they made the bodies (and outfits) movie accurate to when the characters were toddlers/young children, which is seen clearly in Moana's doll. The outfits overall just look incredibly cheap as well.
I really hope they didn't discontinue the Animator's Collection Minis for these cheap replacements but with the way they haven't released a new Animator's Collection Minis for years I doubt that line will contiune. A shame.

CW: touch starved pets, institutionalized slavery, pet whump, pet kitsunemimi, pet nekomimis, multiple pets, intimate whumper
Kitsu walked tentatively up the stairs after Hiral and followed her into her dressing room. They still weren’t quite used to walking on flat ground, let alone spiral stairs. But Mistress Hiral had ordered them to walk and all they wanted was her approval. They did like the feeling of the cool marble under their feet, though.
“Come along, my pretty fox. We’re going to get you dressed up so that you look all pretty to show off to my friends.” Hiral said, resting her hand on the small of Kitsu’s back while they walked, helping them remain steady. They blinked and tried not to melt into her touch so they wouldn’t fall over.
Hiral smiled at them as they walked into a huge room where every wall  and the domed ceiling was covered in mirrors. They blinked as hundreds of themself and their mistress appeared. Hiral held their hand and helped them stand on the raised platform in the middle of the room before sitting on one of the red velvet couches.
She snapped he fingers and suddenly several of the mirrors flew open, and two nekomimis in matching maid outfits walked out carrying all manners of dresses and gowns. The taller nekomimi dark hair and skin and wore their hair in a short, straight pixie cut. The shorter one had long black and white hair as well as well as having white marking that contrasted sharply with her dark skin.
Hiral snapped again and both nekomimis immediately got started on dressing Kitsu in the first outfit.
…Several outfits later…
When the nekomimis stepped away again, Hiral got up from the couch to examine the new outfit.
The nekomimis had tied Kitsu’s hair back into a half-up style with a thick red ribbon and put them into a white robe-like garment with red trim and a matching ribbon around their waist. The dress came down off their shoulders and revealed some of their chest and they had some white silk flats with intricate red embroidery for shoes.
The tall woman circled Kitsu, eyeing them up and down, checking that everything was just so. She lifted a corner of one of the sleeves and felt the fabric. Looking pleased, she walked back around to the front of Kitsu. Her eyes suddenly landed on Kitsu’s barren throat, which she look at disapprovingly.
“Hmm, bring me something for their throat. Something with a bell.” Hiral ordered, not moving her eyes from Kitsu’s throat
The taller nekomimi immediately removed the collar from their neck and handed it to Hiral. It was a ribbon of the same shade of red as the rest of Kitsu’s accessories with a large silver bell and silver clasps in the back.
“This is perfect. Thank you, Beau. I will be sure to give you a new collar soon.” Hiral said, patting Beau’s short, spikey hair
Beau purred softly and wrapped their tail loosely around Hiral’s leg, leaning in for more.
Hiral snapped again and the nekomimis immediately began collecting the outfits that were strewn about the room before bowing out through the mirrors they came in by, which shut behind them instantly.
“Now, little fox, are you ready to meet my friends?”

🍓 New Animal Crossing Ideas 🍓
I predicted some things in horizons let’s hope these happen too lol, my main want is more progression!
Island types: choose between a classic walled in or “forest” island, a tropical island, a snowy island, a desert island, like Happy Home Paradise! You can still pick the hemisphere. Because there’s many types, you can have multiple saves but you have the same character (to avoid online issues etc)
Transport: arrive by train, taxi, boat, water plane, or bus, depending on the type of island you pick! You can use a bike and cart when doing deliveries for Nook
You can buy and use a bike of your own as you progress, you can add a cart & a hand basket, very customisable, add decorations like flowers, bell or horn, & lights, lanterns! You can also buy & customise a caravan! (Stationary?)
Camp ground: tents and caravans overseen by Harvey, you can do cute outdoor activities like roasting marshmallows, pitching and chilling out in a tent, & cloud watching / stargazing! Celeste comes by sometimes with a telescope, you can invite her to the museum this way!
Villagers interests & hobbies: learn about villagers favourite foods, items, activities, dream job, etc. There is special dialogue when their related favourites are mentioned or with what they interact with, maybe you can encourage them to pursue their dream!
You can also invite them to do activities and mini games (they can say no if you have low friendship or are sick or enraged)
Activities: meet-ups (e.g inviting to hanging out in a certain area), and mini games, you can invite animals to do these in dialogue or letters (for later dates), you invite friends to do these via the NookPhone
Odd jobs: work for Tom Nook to pay off the first debt, Brewsters coffee job in New Leaf returns, working at Able Sisters!!! Offering styling to villagers, unlocked with Labelle? Shine shoes at Kicks? Put together bouquets requests with Leif! Cook and serve at the restaurant / café! Design shops and animals homes!
You’re payed in bells and special items. Animals can also work odd jobs depending on their interests. Doing odd jobs can increase friendship with NPC characters
Shops: Tom Nook upgrades to Nookingtons, Able Sisters has a top floor where the sister live that you can visit when you gain friendship with them, Auto Shop from Pocket Camp to buy Bikes etc, restaurant, school(?), and hospital are customisable & furnishable (happy home paradise), Gracie Gracie, Kicks, Re-tail, shampoodle, theatre (dr shrunk), Katrina fortunes, HHA, dream suite also returns
In the theatre, you can obtain emotes from Shrunk and buy cinema food & drinks. Villagers with a theatre interest will also do short performances on stage which plays when you sit down, you can leave at anytime.
Villagers with a film interest will showcase or act in “films” (depending on their preference for acting or filming), similar to stage performances. If you have high friendship, you can be invited to join in on these!
The Hospital building is where you will go when you fall off your bike or faint, villagers will also go here for the same reasons as well as extended sickness (can happen if not given medicine). Gulliver can be found here if you don’t find him on the beach the day before. If not new NPC, possibly Luna or Leilani runs it
Shop functions: other than odd jobs, you can order food and drinks, buy a custom bouquet, and be styled by your villagers and NPCs, return of post office to send letters and gifts
Tasks: NPC / special characters and villagers can ask for more things like craftable items and foods, shop items like paper for letters, and obtainable clothing and accessories
Personal interests: you can set your own faves (in the scrapbook) which you can mention to villagers and NPC when relevant, they can give you items based on these and share their opinions in dialogue and letters
Collecting: stickers and stamps, medals (achievements), gyroids (you can give these to Brewster), crafting recipes, bugs & fish
Scrapbooking & letters: type or hand write letters and draw on them, as well as your scrapbook. You can decorate both with stickers and stamps! You can also send letters to special characters like Isabelle!
The Scrapbook is where you can see a calendar, planned events, interests, friendship levels, collections and recipes, achievements (medals), saved letters and photos! Custom designs also
NookPhone: you can use the phone to call or message villagers to locate them (sometimes they ignore you!) or make meet-ups, friends list & messaging, online shopping, and take photos! (All the Social things)
Event planning: events from other games return but you can also make your own! There are templates but you can do custom events, also set optional tasks to do at these events
Rainbow day - basically a pride parade, similar to festival, face paint & colourful outfits, a proud atmosphere, can march along a selected path
Beach party - take part in beach activities and mini games with animals and friends (sunny warm days only), vacation juice crafting recipe obtainable
Valentines Day - craft chocolate to give to animals or encourage them to give to others, high friendship villagers can also give you chocolate! Kaitlin can teach you to make chocolate related recipes on this day
Friendship levels: you can progress from small talk and exchanging letters with animals, tasks, exchanging gifts, meet-ups, being invited over and inviting them over, getting their photo, photo booth photo together (customisable), can hug them or ask for a hug
Friendship levels also apply to animals, your villagers will gain friendship with other villagers! Most will inform you if they have a best friend, but more polite villagers will only talk about who they’re not friends with / might dislike at a high friendship level
Crafting: instead of recipe cards you can read books (take one a day) in the Museum Library (Celeste runs it as well as the planetarium), or are given certain types of books by villagers with the relevant interest or NPCs - Tom will give you some to start out (furniture) and also sell all skill books
Cooking & baking: so many more recipes and you can do relevant mini games if you choose to do so! Giving a villager their fave food homemade will avoid them getting sick when it’s cold! It will also make them feel better after taking machine if the medicine doesn’t heal them the first time
Many cake options for birthdays and also event themes. You can also learn to cook from Franklin, he stops by occasionally to sell food at events! Joan and Daisy Mae will teach you turnip related recipes. Katie’s mum, Kaitlin, will teach you baking recipes and icing piping at her night class (at the restaurant or café)
Online & other stuff: Tortimer Island returns! A new plaza area for players? Shows featured player custom designs, showcases player homes and customised houses, you can auction items, race bikes with friends!
Custom designs: shirts, jumpers, hoodies, dresses, shorts & trousers, skirts, shoes, hats, face paint & accessories. You can change the length and style of each item!
I have more ideas probably but I can’t think of the rest rn, I might draw some concepts :]

Digitized Dreamworlds and Forgotten Memories - Chapter 2 - Chaotic Introductions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wiatt stared in awe at the sights around him, the tent being way bigger inside.
The top of the tent was miles above him, the yellow, and blue stripes spiraling above him.
The center pole holding the tent up had a pattern of as-of-yet-unknown characters dancing. Wiatt didn't know what to say or d-
"HELLO!"
Wiatt yelps and falls back as a purple pegasus with big-clippy-like eyes appear in front of him.
"Welcome to the Amazing Dreamworld Circus! A place of wonder, oddities, and adventure!"
The Pegasus says, a text box appearing next to him
Wiatt slowly got up, as the Pegasus kept talking.
"I'm Winnie, a virtual assistant designed by Sara to help you out with anything. Just say my name and I will appear to help you out!"
Winnie said as Wiatt got back on his feet.
"Okay uh…can you leave, please? You nearly gave me a heart attack."
Winnie smiled and nodded.
"Oki-Doki!"
Just as he suddenly appeared, Winnie disappeared with a pop.
"...Great, this game has a Clippy."
Wiatt sighs, looking around the tent some more.
He soon found the rules sign, handing up near the entrance.
Rules for the Circus!
Number One, do not exceed a playtime of 5 hours per session.
Number Two, do not change something in-game without Sara's permission.
Number Three, The AIs in this game are not people.
Number Four, any door colored red leads to unfinished parts of the game, don't go through them.
And finally, Number Five. Have Fun!
Wiatt reads the sign, taking note of the first four rules.
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?"
He says, walking through the tent. Looking around and generally not paying attention to where he was walking.
"Out of the way!"
"Coming through!"
"Wha-"
SLAM!
Wiatt is crashed into, sending both him and the two voices to the ground.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! Today has been so hectic and-"
"Lolli look! It's a new guy!"
Wiatt finally sees who is talking to him. A strange clown-jester hybrid with two lollipop heads, one Pink and one Blue.
The Pink half had clown-like accessories, like a fake flower, colorful sleeves, red polka dots on his shirt, and a blue tie wrapped around his head.
While the Blue half had jester accessories, like a jingling hat, striped clothes, a mask that she currently didn't have on, and a pink tie around her head.
Both though had a bit of the other color in their clothes, like Blue Polka dots or Pink bells.
"Someone new?!"
The Blue one (presumably Lolli) seemed surprised.
"Hello, good sir! Our names are Lolli-" The Blue one started.
"-And Pop!" Finished Pink.
"Uh…hi! Nice to meet you two, I-I'm Wiatt." Wiatt introduces himself nervously, still recovering from the fall.
Pop giggles a bit. "Nice to meet you-er, bump into you, Wiatt."
Pop says, presenting his pink hand to shake, smiling a bit. Wiatt shakes Pop's hand.
"So I'm taking you two are uh…lollipop clowns?"
Wiatt asks.
"No no, Pop is the clown and I'm a Jester. Sorry to have you mistaken." Lolli says, shaking her head.
"I-It's fine. Do you know where a map is?"
Wiatt asks, looking at the curtained doorway Lolli and Pop came through.
"There should be one here in the lobby, and in every tent of the circus." Lolli says as Pop gets a gleam in his eyes.
"Maybe we can give you a tour of the place, maybe play some games as well and party too, and-" Pop kept talking very excitedly.
"Sorry, my brother is a bit…excitable."
Lolli explains.
"I-It's fine, I…can see why he's a clown."
Wiatt says, laughing a bit.
"N-no offense Pop."
Pop stops talking and chuckles as well.
"None taken! Everyone here says I'm quite the handful."
"But not as much as the three little acrobats."
Lolli says with a chuckle as well.
Wiatt adjusts his glasses, blinking a bit.
"Well…mind giving me a tour?"
He asks.
"Yes!"
Pop says excitably, tapping his half's foot.
"Sure, we don't have another act in a few hours so we might as well."
Lolli added.
"Th-Thank you."
Wiatt says, glad it wasn't too much trouble.
"No problem! We're always glad to have new people to play with and talk to!"
Pop says with a big grin.
Wiatt smiles too, glad to have someone to talk to, even if it's just an AI.
"Lead the way." He says ready to go.
"Alrighty first up is the beach!"
Lolli says, going through the doorway they came out of, adorned with a mural of the sea and beach.
"The…beach?"
Wiatt follows, a bit confused by the idea of a beach in a tent.
Strings of Fortune and Fate
Date: October 17th, 2131
There's something surreal about being in the attic again now that there's no longer a Dark World in it. To think these toys and clothes were all Darkners less than 24 hours ago. Have they always had sentience? Or did they only gain that when the fountain was opened?
I've been trying my best to identify what things were who as I pack them in my backpack to take to Castle Town. That's what Kris always did after they sealed a fountain. They moved the inhabitants to Castle Town as it's the only fountain meant to remain open and a Dark World which can accommodate all types of Darkners? I think they mentioned something about stone or statues but my minds a little fuzzy today. The whole SOUL fiasco's had me sorta... uuughh. (Hopefully that thing can't get in me again from the jar downstairs)
A frog handpuppet, a pile of accessories, some jazzercise gear, plenty of ribbons. Remie, Acessa-Rays, Jazzarunic, Ssnekmers/Ssneking. A grandfather clock, ballerina figures, photo albums and cameras. Chronolion, Pirolettes/Foutettes, Photory and other residents of Memory Lane. A bunch of buttons, feather boas, socks. Buttonmitts, Snazzalotls, Fashirat. Wind-up keys, toy soldiers, 8 balls, bells, tuxedos. Key-See, Drummer Boys, Oddballs, ChimChimes, Tuxmen. A magic kit and a ballerina music box, Magico the Magician and Bailette, the High Priestess. A plush snake which my sister must've taken downstairs. Sir Slinkywriggles.
An abandoned doll whom I expected to find shoved back into a corner. ... CK must have Dorothy.
So far I've identified most everyone except... Jeanie. The mystical shop keep and fortune teller.
We first encountered Jeanie right after we- well... the Askers, beat Chronolion. But she also showed up after that and had a connection to... someone who I might write about later. After I can ensure she and everyone else make it to Castle Town safely. Her tent back in the Dusty Planes reminded me of Seams Seap, but more... mystic. Like walking into a wandering fortune teller's tent. ...Which, I guess is what Jeanie's tent was. I don't remember a everything of the first interaction. I wasn't paying full attention since the Soul was the one who did the talking and bought items. What I do remember was she read my fortune. In fact that's something Jeanie did multiple times when I talked to here
The snake also talked a lot about fate and destiny. How it might have been fate that let her know we'd arrive at her shop, just in general her speak of premonition and destiny? I... I never liked that stuff. It freaks me out to think about fate as all I can ever think of it as it this... controlling force. Like the strings of fate. It makes me feel hopeless. Worthless. Like nothing but a puppet being dragged along ...
At one point Jeanie mentioned she sensed my lack of control. Did she know? Could she tell? Or was she just referring to my annoyance with Broadway not helping the situation by being bossy and trying to take control?
... I think we finally figured out what object Jeanie is. That cabinet's gonna be a hassle to haul.
ROXANA (Chapter 75)
Sunlight fell over the frozen lake, making the film of ice sparkle like a star.
Orca looked over the landscape again, wrapping a shawl of silver fox fur over his blue hair. The fur coat over his body was made of the shiny, golden fur from a Silope beast, and he was draped from head to toe in the most luxurious jewelry.
This unorthodox outfit, however, only worked to suit his attractive appearance. The metallic accessories swung in the wind, occasionally colliding to produce the sound of bells.
Orca Hyperion, otherwise known as the ‘White Marshal,’ was observing the view of the monster habitat bordering the Frederika Plateau and the Emerald Lake. His gaze was quiet and unblinking, unbothered by the snowflakes settling on his long lashes.
After an extended wait, the demon Gyrote finally appeared in front of Orca- a thick, large mass of black fur staining the pure white scenery. Its blood-red eyes glowed with an eerie sheen, and wits horns stood high above his head.
Orca watched the Gyrote’s sharp fangs protrude out of its mouth as it flexed its face and muscular limbs. “Beautiful…” Orca was enraptured; by being under a masking spell, he was able to admire these beasts in their natural habitat, without either party being disturbed.
Gyrotes moved in groups, and there were currently about a hundred Gyrotes occupying the lake.
Orca considered capturing and taming the Gyrote leader, but having already waited for fifteen days… ‘I suppose I can spare another,’ the thought. He wanted to appreciate the natural scenery just a little more.
Suddenly, a loud cry erupted.
“Huh?” Orca’s vision turned completely red. A huge shadow smothered his view of the lake like an eclipse; he stared blankly as a swarm of butterflies appeared and swept over the gyrates.
The sound of bones being crushed thundered through his ears. “What the hell is going on?” He cried dumbly. He couldn’t understand.
After a while, the butterflies left, leaving no trace of the gyrates- no blood, no bones. Orca thought he had just experienced the most potent of hallucinations. “Are you fucking serious?” A bleak laugh escaped his mouth; his fifteen days had been wasted.
He felt defeated; butterflies in winter? What kind of butterflies ate beasts?
… “A poison butterfly…” He said, though he struggled to think of a potential poison butterfly habitat in the area.
Then he watched them fly in the direction of the Pedelian estate.
“I see…”
Orca’s next destination had been decided.
* * *
“Didn’t he propose yesterday?” Olin headed towards the tent where all her colleagues had gathered to rest.
“Well, I think it’s possible, but the situation also felt a little strange for that to have occurred.”
“What’s different? It was an clear confession!”
 “Right? ‘I want you to give me the rest of your life,’ or something like that. Isn’t that like saying you want to be married?”
Everyone was contributing to the commotion. “The atmosphere was strange from the beginning.”
“I know, right? She’s not a prisoner of war.”
Everyone was contributing to the commotion, theorizing about Cassis’ relationship history and preferences. Before opening the tent door, Olin hesitated and eventually turned back- it was evident that they would keep pestering her about her interactions with Roxana.
Then, Isidor approached, walking straight past her and into the tent.
“Do you all think you’re being covert? I can hear your nonsense from outside.”
“Sir Winston!”
“Get back to work. I don't recall giving you a gossip break.”
“Understood, sir. We’re very sorry.”
Olin huffed. Thank God she hadn’t gone in there. The thought of being caught by Isidor made her heart palpitate, though she could also understand the appeal of her colleagues’ gossip.
* * *
(*E/N: This is essentially a flashback to when Cassis saved Roxana on the day of the coup, just from his soldiers’ POV.)
Cassis had sent Isidor away first, and they were all wondering why their master had to return to Agriche.
Then Cassis emerged from the blizzard. But he wasn’t alone- the body in his arms had is face and body covered in a dark cloak. However, the appearance of long, golden hair fluttering over Cassis’ shoulder was etched into everyone’s minds.
Cassis reclaimed his position at the front of the army. “Let’s depart.”
When they eventually stopped for maintenance, the door of the carriage, which had been firmly closed before, opened, and the person Cassis had brought made an appearance. She was a young woman with a slender figure and fluttering hair.
However, as soon as she took her first step outside, she fell, helpless, onto the snow field. The soldiers were startled, and ran over to help her.
“Are you alright? Have you been hurt anywhere?”
The first soldier to reach her, however, made contact with her body while attempting to provide support. He stumbled and fell.
Elevate Your Aviary: Must-Have Bird Cage Accessories for Happy, Healthy Birds
Birds are more than just pets; they're cherished companions that bring joy, color, and song into our lives. As responsible bird owners, providing a comfortable and enriching environment for our feathered friends is essential for their well-being. One way to enhance their living space is by selecting the right bird cage accessories. From perches to toys, these additions not only keep your birds entertained but also promote physical and mental stimulation. Let's explore some must-have accessories to elevate your aviary and ensure your birds live their best lives.
Tumblr media
Perches: Perches are essential for birds to rest, exercise, and maintain their foot health. Opt for a variety of perch sizes and textures to mimic their natural environment. Natural wood perches provide different diameters for foot exercise, while rope perches offer a comfortable grip and flexibility.
Toys: Just like humans, birds need mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy. Toys such as swings, bells, and puzzles engage their natural curiosity and prevent boredom. Rotate toys regularly to keep things exciting and introduce new challenges for your feathered friends.
Feeding Accessories: Eating should be an enjoyable experience for birds, and the right feeding accessories can make mealtime more engaging. Consider adding foraging toys or puzzle feeders that encourage your birds to work for their food, stimulating their natural foraging instincts.
Baths and Misters: Birds love to bathe, and providing them with a bath or misting station in their cage allows them to indulge in this natural behavior. Whether it's a shallow dish for bathing or a spray bottle for misting, regular baths help keep your birds' feathers clean and healthy.
Swings and Ladders: Swings and ladders offer birds opportunities for exercise and play. Swings provide a fun way for birds to sway and perch, while ladders promote climbing and exploration. These accessories encourage physical activity and help prevent boredom during cage time.
Sleeping Huts or Tents: Birds need a cozy and secure place to rest and sleep. Sleeping huts or tents provide a comfortable retreat where birds can feel safe and secure. Choose options made from bird-safe materials and ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating.
Perch Covers and Pads: To prevent your birds' feet from becoming sore or developing pressure sores, consider adding perch covers or pads. These soft, cushioned accessories provide extra support and comfort, especially for older birds or those with foot-related issues.
Cage Cleaning Supplies: Keeping your bird's cage clean is essential for their health and well-being. Stock up on bird-safe cleaning supplies such as brushes, wipes, and cage liners to maintain a hygienic living environment for your feathered companions.
Tumblr media
Incorporating these bird cage accessories into your avian friend's habitat will not only enhance their quality of life but also strengthen the bond between you and your feathered companion. By providing a stimulating and comfortable environment, you can ensure that your birds thrive both physically and emotionally, bringing joy and companionship into your home for years to come.
Individual Guide On Bell Tent Sale
Selecting a bell tent available can be a smart decision for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a tough, versatile, and comfortable shelter for camping, events, or outdoor gatherings. However, navigating the possibilities and filtering good bell tents from bad ones requires careful consideration of several factors. Let's explore why you ought to pick bell tents available and how to tell apart between quality offerings and subpar options. Bell tents can be found in various sizes, including the popular bell tent 5m for sale. This size offers ample interior space for multiple occupants, which makes it ideal for family camping trips, group outings, or glamping experiences. The canvas 5m bell tent variant is very sought after for the durability, weather resistance, and classic aesthetic appeal. When browsing through the entire bell tent range during a bell tent sale, it's important to assess the following criteria to ensure you're choosing a quality tent: Whenever choosing a bell tent, the material found in its construction is paramount. High-quality bell tents are typically crafted from heavy-duty canvas or polycotton blends. These materials offer durability, breathability, and insulation, ensuring an appropriate camping experience. It's vital to steer clear of tents produced from low-quality materials that are prone to tearing easily or providing inadequate weather resistance.
Tumblr media
Another critical aspect to assess could be the stitching and seams of the bell tent. Quality tents feature double-stitched seams with reinforced stress points, minimizing the danger of leaks and tears. On the contrary, inferior tents may exhibit uneven stitching or weak seams that compromise the tent's overall integrity. Checking the stitching ensures the tent's durability and longevity. A good bell tent should have effective waterproofing features to help keep occupants dry during rain showers. Search for tents with waterproof coatings, treated fabrics, or taped seams that prevent water from seeping through. Performing a water test, if at all possible, or reading customer reviews provides insights into the tent's waterproof performance, ensuring comfort in inclement weather. Proper ventilation is required for an appropriate camping experience. Quality bell tents are equipped with mesh windows, vents, or adjustable openings that promote airflow and prevent condensation buildup within the tent. It's essential to make sure that the tent permits adequate ventilation without compromising its ability to safeguard against harsh weather conditions. Assessing the quality of the tent's frame and poles is essential for stability and support, especially in windy conditions.
Sturdy poles made from materials like aluminum or steel contribute to the tent's overall reliability. Check for rust-resistant coatings, secure attachments, and easy assembly features, as these aspects enhance the tent's durability and functionality. Consider additional accessories and features that enhance the functionality of the bell tent. This may include features like zippered doors, built-in ground sheets, awnings, stove jacks for wood stoves, and compatibility with tent extensions or inner rooms. Something wasn’t right. Mercurial had been to the Darkmoon Faire before, but it had never been like today.
They noticed, while approaching the fair, that it was louder than usual. Brightly coloured flags swayed in the wind, and not the usual Darkmoon flags. These were in the colours of the rainbow and Mercurial wondered what it meant. They had never seen such flags before.
Maybe the Darkmoon Faire had changed its colouring?
But other flags had been raised as well, none of which Mercurial knew.
They approached slowly, not sure what to make of this. It could be a special event, the fair sometimes held special events, but they were rare and it was usually only held in a small part of the fair. Never did the whole event change so completely.
Masses of creatures filled the space of the fair, which was normal except for the fact that it was so much more than usual. And that many of the creatures wore colours according to the flags.
It wasn’t merely the Darkmoon personnel, they were clothed in their usual outfits, therefore distinguishable from the visitors, but every single one had a cap or ribbons or something. Colourful hats and ribbons. But everyone else as well, even the undead and the dwarfs, some having the flags painted onto their cheeks.
Since the personnel was working during the fair to help the guests and to answer question, Mercurial approached one of them, one who was at the edge of the space. “Excuse me, is there a special event today?”
The creature nodded. “Why yes, it is pride month and the Darkmoon Faire decided to show its support by dedicating the fair to pride. We hold additional games, with pride themed prizes and we sell all kinds of accessories for pride. If there is something missing, a specific flag or anything, please let us know so we can remedy that nuisance.”
Mercurial blinked, then looked around. They were not completely sure what ‘pride’ meant. It had to be something normal, something everyone else was familiar with. Since Mercurial rarely interacted with other creatures, it was no wonder they didn’t know. It wasn’t the first event they learned about much later than everyone else.
They could learn about this event today.
Mercurial wasn’t shy and entered the Darkmoon Faire. It was fascinating. The event was never dull or boring, but today it was the loudest and the most colourful Mercurial had ever experienced.
On the first stall that sold small pins with the flags that were hanging all over the fair, Mercurial stopped. And asked about it.
“Your first pride fair?” The seller, a huge tauren who had his fur braided into small braids all over, ribbons and bells braided into it so he jingled with every movement he made, smiled fondly at them. “Well, I’ll explain from the start. If you want me to skip something, just tell me.”
Then he began. He talked about sexualities and Mercurial was astounded how many different sexualities existed. Since they had been reborn as a spectre with no memory of their former life, they hadn’t felt any form of sexual desire, couldn’t remember ever having felt sexual desire, and therefore they hadn’t put any thought into it.
Next were the different kinds of gender, which was even more fascinating. Because as a spectre, Mercurial didn’t have a gender. And because they couldn’t remember their life from before, they didn’t know what gender they had been. In that regard, they were different even among the spectres and it was one reason why they chose to stay apart. But here they found there had to be more creatures like them because there was a flag that stood for creatures without a gender. Creatures who preferred not to have a gender. Creatures who didn’t mind not having a gender.
Mercurial stared at the pin and tentatively reached out, not listening to the seller anymore. “There are others like me?”
“I suppose you don’t mean other spectres but others with the same gender as you. Or better, with the same definition of gender as you. Yes, there are.” The seller took the pin Mercurial was pointing at and held it out for them. “Here, take it. Since it is obviously your very first pin and your very first contact with pride, it’s a gift. From me, because I like the idea that I am your first.” The tauren winked.
It felt as if the world had shifted and suddenly it was in the right place. It had been wrong before, there had been a form of disconnect, but now it made sense. Mercurial took the pin, still staring at it. Then they attached it on the few remains of their clothes. It was a tiny speck of colour on their body and everyone who looked at them would see it. Everyone would know what it meant, at least today, during the pride fair.
“Thank you. It means a lot to me.” It did. Mercurial felt better all of a sudden. It was just a pin, something insignificant, yet it made a difference. To them. It was a step closer to knowing who they were. They had no past to look at to know what had shaped them. They were only what they were now and sometimes they drifted in the world, unsure of where they belonged. This pin gave them something, a sense of belonging that had been missing until now.
They didn’t belong to the spectres but maybe they could belong to this group of creatures. Creatures without a gender.
“I’m glad. Happy pride!” With a jingle of bells, the tauren waved as Mercurial made their way over the fair, eyes wide to take it all in.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Lost Tracks of Time, Chapter 5
Summary: Ingo and Emmet conceited to visiting a tailor to fix their suits. When the tailor offers to buff their uniforms for a special cost, will they be able to pay her price? Or will an unusual dungeon be the end of our hero's plans?
Author’s Note: This is the chapter that uses that one idea from the one anon! I always had the idea that Ingo’s and Emmet’s hats were stat-boosting items, but it makes more sense for someone to have made the hats that way, y’know?
As always, thank you @furiouskettle for inspiring this AU with your designs of the submas as Sneasels!
(Shippers DNI)
“Emmet, this doesn’t pass inspection, and I don’t think we are qualified to make these repairs,” Ingo said, looking over the singed edges of Emmet’s coat. The morning after Chandelure joined the rescue team, Ingo and Emmet both discovered that Emmet’s coat burned slightly from their new partner’s tears. Chandelure floated in a corner of the tent above the twins, obviously upset. “Chandelure, please don’t be hard on yourself.”
“We fixed our own clothes before,” Emmet said. “A burn would not be different.”
“While I would normally agree, I think we need to leave this part of maintenance to the experts. Just for today, let’s find a tailor.” Emmet and Chandelure followed Ingo, who left their tent and made for the Pearl Guild’s main building.
The sun finished rising over the horizon. Palina the (Kantoian) Arcanine stood at the job bulletin board, pinning up requests for any of the teams in the guild to accept and complete. Next to her, though, was Lian, hammering nails into a second bulletin board next to the first one.
“Good morning, Palina and Lian!” Ingo said as he and Emmet approached the board. “I see you have already begun morning preparations.”
“Oh, you’re early today!” Palina said, not looking away from her stack of letters from the Pelliper’s postal service.
“That is a large number of letters,” Emmet said. “Do we really need another board for them?”
“Yeah…” Lian said, pausing his work. “We’ve been getting a lot of rescue jobs lately, like more than normal. It’s a lil worrying, but I think we can handle it, right? Are you here for early job pickin’?”
“My coat is burned. I need a tailor,” Emmet said, showing the two his folded coat. “Do you know a good one?”
“Hm… Let me think…” Lian continued hammering the new board, which graded on Ingo’s and Emmet’s ears. When he finished, a realization came over him, and Lian’s face showed it. “Oh right! Palina, do you remember that one tailor south of Eterna Town? What’s her name?”
“South, south… Oh, yeah!” Palina finished covering the first board in requests and began pinning the rest to the second one. “Her name is Anthe. She made accessories for Irida and some of the other guild members. I think she can help you.”
“You heard her, Emmet!” Ingo said. “We have our destination!”
***
Out of the way from the Pearl Guild and the nearby Eterna Town was an above-ground path made from concrete and metal. The path led to the southern half of the land and was devoid of pokemon. Trees and vines took over the bridge, weaving itself into the concrete and overtaking the columns. Underneath the path was more signs of humanity’s footprint, including wood houses that only inhabited mildew and small pokemon.
Among the buildings clinging onto structure was one that appeared functional. Neither paint nor woodstains decorated the walls, and fur-like tarps haphazardly covered holes in the roof. Next to its entrance was a small bell. A wooden sign displayed a single word burned onto it: “Tailor”.
Ingo and Emmet approached the entrance. Emmet held his folded coat in his arms, while Ingo still wore his. Chandelure was behind them, just happy to be there. Ingo rang the bell.
“Come in,” a woman’s voice said from inside. As such, they opened the door.
The first thing the twins noticed was the scent of freshly cleaned clothes. In front of them stood a desk with a countertop that crossed the entire room and notched with ruler marks. Measuring tape, circular scissors, chalk, and a sitrus berry-shaped cushion with numerous pins sticking out were among the items sitting on the desk. On the walls to the conductors’ left and right hanged several accessories, ranging from bow and ribbons to capes, hats, and even suits. Several pre-made fabrics in a rainbow of colors lined the walls behind the desk. And at the desk itself was a Furfrou. At a distance, she looked like she was wearing a white top hat, but it was really fur trimmed that way.
“Welcome to my tailor’s shop, little ones,” the Furfrou said. “I am Anthe. What can I do for you?”
“I am Emmet. This is my coat. Please don’t drop it.” Emmet laid the coat onto the counter.
“How dare you assume I would! But… let me see the damages.” Anthe brought her front paws onto the counter and carefully unfolded the coat. She stared at the coat for a moment – not just at the burn marks but all over the white uniform. “What is this?”
“It’s my uniform,” Emmet said like she asked a silly question.
“This is… This is a human’s coat! How did you get this in such good condition – well, “good” might be an exaggeration, but still, how?”
“I told you, it’s my uniform. It was made for me.”
Anthe sighed, visibly annoyed. “Okay, if you’re not gonna answer me, then never mind. If you’re willing to pay me… I will match the material of the coat with what I have as best I can and then make it look brand new.” Anthe stroked her hand across the coat and looked up at the Sneasels and their ghost friend. Then her eyes darted to Ingo’s coat. “Oh my goodness! Little poisonous Sneasel, let me fix your coat!”
“Excuse me?” Ingo asked. “What’s wrong with my coat?”
“”What’s wrong with it?!”” Anthe hopped over the counter (being careful not to touch Emmet’s coat) to approach Ingo face-to-face. “What isn’t wrong with it?! The collar is in tatters, barely hanging onto its shape. The ends have seen better days, and the cuffs are completely gone. And comparing this one to the other “uniform”, the browns have lost their vibrancy! Please let me fix it!”
“My coat does not need repairs, so I respectfully decline,” Ingo said.
“It absolutely needs repairs, sir. I will give you a discount, just please let me mend it!”
“NO!” Ingo never had an indoor voice, but his shout made Anthe’s ears ring. Emmet widened his eyes at Ingo. Chandelure watched over his trainer with a worried expression.
As for Anthe, she was stunned and left her mouth hang open for a couple of seconds before recollecting herself. “…Okay… fine… If you don’t want your coat’s rips and tears mended, then I won’t. But I can offer both of you a service. I can tell you’re a rescue team and apparently deal with fire-type pokemon often. Without changing your coats’ appearances, I can make them fireproof. I will ask for a fair bit of compensation, but you won’t have to worry about burn marks again.”
“Would that change the coat’s weight or feel?” Ingo asked.
Anthe’s nerves calmed from hearing Ingo’s (still loud) normal voice. “If I do my job right – and I will – your coats will feel the same as they did before.”
“Very well…” Ingo took off his coat, though each motion was slowed like he was forcing himself to do it. He folded up his coat and placed it on the countertop next to Emmet’s.
“Before I start, your payment is going to be 5000 poke dollars. Will you be able to pay that?”
“Yes. We are more than prepared for whatever price you would list.”
“Fantastic. Then I will begin.” Anthe took the coats and entered into a room behind the office Team Conductors stood at.
Ingo stood still, only moving to pet Chandelure on the head.
“Your reaction was strong,” Emmet said. “Wouldn’t it be better to do proper repairs of our uniforms?”
“It was rather improper of me,” Ingo said. “It… scares me, how much I do things without knowing why. Objectively, my uniform must be kept at an acceptable condition, so why do I feel a tug in my heart each time I think of fixing it completely?”
“I don’t know. You talk about these things, and I still don’t get it. But I am Emmet. I am your brother. I will be with you until you find out why and beyond.”
“I expect nothing less,” Ingo said, almost smiling.
“Done,” Anthe said as she left her private work room. The coats hanged on metal wires that Anthe carried by her mouth. With a swift motion, she swung both coats onto her counter, revealing Emmet’s coat was patched up to normal condition and Ingo’s still had the same rips, fraying, and wear. They both took their coats and put them on at the same time, much to Anthe’s surprise. “They’re not gonna block fire-type moves, but they’ll survive everything up to getting dipped into lava. …Don’t actually dip them in lava, please.”
“I will take your word for it,” Ingo said. “Emmet, what do you-“
Ingo watched as Emmet brought a sleeve – and his arm with it - into Chandelure’s flames to test Anthe’s claim. Emmet failed to realize his mistake until it was too late. Chandelure stopped letting their flames hurt Emmet, but the super-effective damage was done. Ingo presented his brother an oran berry to munch on. “I am impressed,” Emmet said between bites. “No damage was done to my coat. Well done.”
Anthe found her mouth hanging open once again. “Well… before you go… I offer one more service to improve the quality of and customize exploration equipment. Do you have any items like scarves or ribbons that you would like more use of?”
“Oh, neither of us use those,” Ingo said. “The uniforms we use now are more than enough for our jobs.”
“But they’re normal clothes. You… You’re…” Anthe looked at the badges that the two weird Sneasels attached to their coats. “You’re an S-rank rescue team and you haven’t been using protection equipment during your dangerous trips and battles??”
“Yes,” Ingo and Emmet both said at the same time.
“…Well… with the right price, I could turn your “uniforms” into something that could actually help you. It would have to be the hats since I just altered your coats. Here is my list of offers.” She reached under the counter and presented them a wooden plaque with words painted on. The list was: attack, defense, special attack, special defense, critical hit ratio, health, persim, pecha, rawst, chesto, leppa, stamina, and all-rounder. The last one had an additional description: “combines effects of the attack, defense, special attack, and special defense options”.
Ingo and Emmet both pointed at ‘all-rounder’.
“Oh, you two want this one? Fine, but you’ll need to bring me some items first.” Anthe reached under her desk and pulled out a paper.
All-rounder customization. In addition to 10k poke dollars per article, bring me one of the following: defense scarf, power band, special band, and zinc band.
“Wow! These are verrrry expensive materials!” Emmet said. His signature smile remained on his face, but his eyes let Anthe know he thought the price as ridiculous.
“It’s the best customization option I have, and not only will it make you stronger, but only you two will get to benefit from its strength. What do you say?”
Ingo looked at Emmet and saw his brother almost shaking with excitement at the possibility of improving his battle experience. “Allow us to return with the appropriate supplies, then we can complete this trip.”
***
For three days, Team Conductors travelled through three dungeons – Cottonridge Prairie, Hooftrack Heights, and Grueling Grove – looking for the scarves while completing missions. Seven pokemon were rescued, three bounties collected, and two lost items retrieved to their clients. Ingo and Emmet had more than enough money to pay for the upgrade, but they only found 3 power bands and 1 zinc band.
On the fourth day, when all of the Pearl Guild teams gathered in the assembly hall for morning announcements, a gloominess hanged around Chatot and Irida.
“…And now, the Guildmaster has a major announcement,” Chatot said to the room of eight rescue teams and several Guild housekeepers. “Pay attention!” He stepped aside and let Irida take center stage.
“I know everyone is probably eager to get right to getting missions, but unfortunately, I must instruct everyone to hold off on entering ANY mystery dungeons until further notice.”
“WHAT?!” said several of the guild members. Whispering between pokemon broke out.
“I know, I know.” The crowd settled down to listen to Irida. “But I have a good reason. As you may have noticed, we’ve been having a large increase in rescue jobs with lost pokemon. Well, there’s been a trend with the newer requests: all of them describe entering a floor in a mystery dungeon unlike any of the others. They’re dark, near impossible to navigate, and worst of all, no stairs nor doorways can be found. Neither escape orbs nor Teleport or guild badges allow them to escape.
“…And the reason we know our badges don’t work is because… one of our very own, Team Stardust, entered a dungeon and haven’t returned.” Irida paused to allow Chatot to get them to calm down. “We received word from leader Lucian that, while they are not in immediate danger, they are completely unable to progress through the dungeon. Today, Chatot and I will be leaving to converge with the Diamond Guildmaster and all 10 Nobles about what our next step is. For today, I ask everyone to either stay around here or Eterna Town to help with housekeeping. You are dismissed!”
Most of the pokemon in the hall scattered around the Guild. Ingo, Emmet, and Chandelure still stood in the center of the room.
“…We have to help them,” Ingo said. “Irida didn’t say their location, so we will have to find out before we can leave this station.”
“You think we can rescue them without guaranteeing that this is a round trip and not one-way?” Emmet asked.
Ingo grabbed onto the brim of his hat to think. “…It would be better than just shutting down operations for today. If nothing else, we can deliver food and medicines.”
“Okay. Maybe we can challenge Team Stardust to a battle. Battling a hyper-ranked team would be fun!”
“Very well, but now we need to face the issue of finding their location.”
Ingo and Emmet silently brainstormed for a moment, even taking up identical poses. Chandelure spun around, waiting for a response. Then the two Sneasels opened their eyes and ran off to one of the hallways, Chandelure following right behind.
At the job bulletin board, Palina was taking down job requests. She paused upon hearing two sets of footsteps running toward her.
“Good morning, Miss Palina!” Ingo said with a salute. “By any chance, do you know where Team Stardust is currently at?”
“Perhaps…” Palina narrowed her eyes at the Sneasels. “Why do you ask? You don’t plan on going after them, do you? You heard Irida’s order.”
“We are going to visit Team Stardust!” Emmet said. “I’m going to challenge them for a battle.”
Palina was understandably astonished by Emmet’s bluntness. “Are you sure you wanna do that now??”
“Yes.”
“We’re actually going to check in on them and ensure their safety,” Ingo said. “We will deliver to them food and berries. I realize Guildmaster Irida asked us to not enter mystery dungeons, but I cannot rest while others are out there in need of help.” Chandelure nodded with him.
“Well, I understand not being able to sit still, but you heard the guildmaster…” Palina finished taking down all the jobs and gazed at her sad little pile of calls for help. “…I mean, I was the one who saw Lucian’s letter first and showed it to Irida… I still have it on me… It would be a shame if you guys found that letter after I finished taking down the jobs from today… It would tell you where to go…” Palina turned and left, but a single piece of paper dropped from her stack and floated to Ingo’s foot.
Ingo held up the paper so that all three of them could read. After a moment, Ingo and Emmet nodded to each other and agreed on their next destination.
After finishing and rechecking their morning checks, Team Conductors made their way to one of the coldest areas of the land when they saw a familiar face about to pass them.
“Good day, Lady Sneasler!” Ingo pointed at Sneasler and at the ground. Emmet saluted her, and Chandelure waved with one arm.
“Yo, weirdos.” Sneasler waved at them as she approached. “Looks like you’re on a mission. What’s your plan for today?”
“Our destination is in the Bonechill Wastes! We are going to help a rescue team. What is yours?”
“I’m going to the Guild. Irida called me for some meeting or something, and I wanna get there before Chatot gets the urge to write another letter.”
“Oh, yes. Please have safe travels, Lady Sneasler!”
“Alright, alright. Just don’t do anything stupid, okay?”
“Very well!”
***
Ingo and Emmet found themselves breezing through a dungeon where missions often ranked at 4-stars minimum. The icy landscape of Bonechill Wastes hardly bothered the Ice-type Emmet, and Chandelure provided light and additional warmth to Ingo’s coat. All of the pokemon they faced fell in one strike from either Ingo’s new Drain Punch or Chandelure’s Mystical Fire.
Packed snow lined the walls, floors, and ceilings. Not even a heavy pokemon like Mamoswine was able to form footprints in the ground. The snow held up to Chandelure’s flames and never melted. The pure white landscape almost blinded the twins in the first few floors, but the light dimmed as they travelled lower and lower. The snow sparkled the entire time.
“The next floor is B23. That is where Team Stardust was forced to send a rescue request to their own guild. Are you ready, Emmet?” Ingo asked as the three of them stood next to a flight of stairs.
“Always,” Emmet said.
“Chandelure? What of you?”
Chandelure nodded, energized after consuming a max elixir.
“Very well.” With Ingo leading, Team Conductors entered the next floor.
The difference of the 23rd floor from the rest of the dungeon was immediately apparent. Chandelure’s flames were the only thing that told the team they entered a small room on the floor. Beyond the flames, the walls disappeared into darkness. The snow sparkled, but the darkness combined with the glittering snow to form an illusion that Team Conductors was in outer space.
Ingo pulled an orb from his satchel and held it up. It lit up the room and some of the halls connected to it for a second before returning them to darkness. Ingo frowned more and took out the map. Chandelure’s blue flames provided enough light for them to read the map of the entire floor, thanks to the orb. The map showed hallways that twisted around rooms, numerous dead ends, and overall, a dungeon floor larger than Ingo or Emmet ever saw. Worst of all, the stair’s location was absent.
“So the luminous orb worked… but it’s supposed to provide a light to show the way. Where is it?” Ingo asked.
“At least we have Chandelure to help us,” Emmet said. “Let’s watch our step and keep going!”
“Guide the way, my Chandelure.” At Ingo’s suggestion, they floated ahead of the Sneasels and moved through one of the halls.
As the three walked through the floor, the eeriness of the situation grew. No items were on the ground in any room. No pokemon wandered around to challenge them to a fight, either. Team Conductors roamed the hallways with only themselves for company.
Or that’s what they thought. After a half-hour of exploring, they heard a calm but authoritative voice. “…There! There’s the blue light!”
“I just wanna go towards it!” a second voice piped in, sounding like they were half-asleep.
“Pull yourself together, Nidorino…” a third voice said, also sounding like he just woke up from a nap.
“Hello? We’re a rescue team! Come here!” Ingo called out, pointing at the direction of the voices and at the ground.
“You’re a rescue team? So are we!” the first voice said. Two sets of footsteps ran towards Team Conductors. Though Chandelure braced for battle, Ingo and Emmet did not.
The three pokemon got close enough to be lit by Chandelure’s flames. One was a Musharna with a satchel identical to Ingo’s. The second was a Nidorino wearing a thorny scarf. The third – the leader – was Lucian the Medicham, wearing his signature X-specs.
“Greetings, Team Stardust! I am Ingo. The fellow to my right is Emmet, and the fellow to my left is Chandelure,” Ingo said with a hat tip.
“Oh, you’re Team Conductors!” Lucian said.
“You guys are the ones who wake everyone up every morning…” Musharna said with a yawn.
“You’re the ones helping us?” Nidorino asked, obviously concerned.
“Well, we wanted to ensure your safety by visiting you and providing items.” Ingo and Emmet reached into their bags and pulled out a total of three apples and gave one to each member. “But while we were on route, Emmet and I came up with an alternate route escape plan.”
“You didn’t have a plan before?” Nidorino asked between massive bites of his apple.
“I’ve been meditating for the past day trying to come up with an escape method but had nothing.” Lucian took a single bite from his apple and gave the rest to Musharna. “I would love to see what you came up with.”
“Emmet! Prepare for departure!” Ingo said.
Emmet held up his claws and struck the floor, cracking the snow. “Follow the rules and drive safely. We’re headed for victory! All aboard!” Emmet proceeded to continue Digging down. “Don’t decouple from me, Ingo!”
After a minute, Ingo dug his claws into the walls of the hole and began climbing down. “Once we confirm we entered another floor, I will have Chandelure safely lower you down. Please remain seated,” he said. Once he was inside, Chandelure held its arms up to fit and floated down after the Sneasels.
Lucian, Musharna, and Nidrorino watched the weird rescue team descend.
“Would this actually work, Lucian?” Nidorino asked.
“Hm, not sure. In regular dungeon, it’s theoretically possible but unlikely since the density of ground between floors is too hard and dense to dig through. But this dungeon is made entirely of snow…” Lucian hummed while thinking over the twin’s plan. “It’s worth a try, at the very least.”
Ten minutes passed. Chandelure’s light disappeared long ago, returning Team Stardust to darkness. After fifteen minutes, a hole appeared in the ceiling above them. Blue light shone through, followed by Ingo and Emmet’s voices.
“I see something!” Emmet said above them.
“Wait… Pull the brakes! Brake, Emmet!” Ingo was too late. Emmet broke through the ceiling with his claws and fell down. Lucian jumped to his feet from his meditating position and ran to where Emmet would land, catching the Sneasel in his arms.
“Strange. Verrrry strange,” Emmet said after looking around. He dusted loose snow off his coat and stood back on his feet. Chandelure let Ingo climb onto their arms and floated back down to ground level. Emmet looked up at the hole. Emmet’s face smiled. His eyes did not. ”How did that happen? I dug straight down.”
Lucian grabbed a radar orb from Musharna’s bag and dropped it down the hole Emmet made in the ground. A few seconds later, the same orb fell from the hole in the ceiling and shattered on landing.
“That is not the round trip we needed…” Ingo said. Chandelure floated to Ingo and frowned, almost begging for reassurance that they weren’t trapped.
“So much for that… We really are stuck here…” Musharna said, once again yawning.
“I appreciate the effort, Team Conductors” Lucian said. “But it’s back to waiting for proper assistance.”
“Please forgive me and Emmet for not being able to free you,” Ingo said, his shame more evident in his voice than on his face. “Please forgive us…”
VDL Gang & their three year anniversary with their S/O
i saw on twitter that today is officially when rdr2 came out three years ago and to celebrate that i decided to write something for how the boys would celebrate. <333 also sorry i didn’t do bill i lost inspo :(
Dutch Van Der Linde
For your three years together Dutch decides to take you out of camp for the night and get away from the stress of the gang.
He takes you to Saint Denis where you can easily blend in and go undetected as outlaws but the two of you can still have a pleasant night out.
Dutch takes you to see an Opera or movie depending on your preferences and then out of one of the fancier restaurants in town. Its all very romantic and over the top but its certainly Dutch’s style and he spends each moment he can complimenting you or telling you how much he loves you.
By the end of the night while you’re waiting for the train, you slow dance together on the side of the platform to the sound of a gramophone coming from one of the windows.
Hosea Matthews
Hosea takes you up past O'Creagh's Run to a small cabin where you spend a few nights together.
No, neither of you attempt to go after legendary bears but you do go fishing and get some hunting done so you can come back to the cabin and cuddle with a nice warm bowl of stew.
Some nights when its not too cold, the two of you take your bedrolls out and watch the stars under the sky where its just so peaceful and quiet.
While you’re there all huddled together Hosea will tell you just how much he loves you and how happy he is to have you in his life.
Arthur Morgan
Arthur takes you away from camp for a week to go on a mini trip around to some of his favourite places that he’s visited.
You end up all over whether its climbing Mount Shann and nearly falling off the cliff or if its sitting under the waterfall near Willard’s rest. The two of you set up your tent for the night after a day of hunting and exploring.
At each place Arthur tells you another reason as to why he loves you and why he’s so happy to have you in his life.
By the end of your trip on your last night Arthur gifts you a sketch of the two of you together that he’s kept safe in his journal.
Charles Smith
Charles takes you out to the Heartlands for the day where he teaches you how to tame a horse. The whole way there he can’t stop smiling because you get to share his Taima and its just one big excuse to hug him for hours.
After a lot of work and you nearly landing face first into a pile of mud, Charles takes you into Valentine where he buys you a new saddle and all the other accessories as a sort of anniversary gift.
You end up having a meal and a drink together at the saloon before crashing at the Hotel after a long day.
Its rather quiet in terms of a celebration but getting a day just to spend with each other is more than either of you could ask for.
John Marston
John panics for a week because he’s not overly romantic and doesn’t want to mess anything up.
He ends up taking you to see a show in the local town. You can tell he’s nervous even in the dark room and so you reach across the chair and hold his hand to which you can practically hear him smile.
You end up popping by the general store and grabbing some drinks for the two of you before you wander down to a nearby river.
John pours a drink for the two of you while you rest your head on his shoulder and watch the moonlight bounce off the water. Later (after a few too many drinks) John will get all sappy and tell you just how much you mean to him.
Micah Bell
Micah originally planned just to take you to the saloon for a drink, not wanting to appear like these sorts of things got to him but in the end he caved for you.
He took you up near Strawberry to one of your old hides out from when you’d first gotten together. Micah had been there the day before stressing over making his little camp tidy and getting up the tent.
There’s a small basket of gifts including a new knife (common its Micah), a bottle of whiskey and some snacks like cheese and salted meats.
Its a quiet celebration for the two of you and the whole night he doesn’t let go of your hand. After Micah drinks most of the bottle of whiskey he becomes a total sap and can’t stop repeating that he loves you.
Javier Escuella
Javier takes you out of camp in the late afternoon to walk down by the water. Your arm is locked in his and you’re just enjoying each others company but you note Javier has a bag over his shoulder.
You eventually come to a spot just as the sun is setting and start fishing together. You’ve never been one for fishing so Javier comes to stand behind you and he helps you cast the line (and he gets to hug you)
After the sun has gone down you make a little camp with some supplies from his bag and you eat the fish you caught for dinner.
It’s warm enough that you don’t need a tent, just a bedroll but you do get to cuddle together. Javier will sing to you while you drift off to sleep and gently whisper just how much he loves you.
Lenny Summers
Lenny gets so excited for your anniversary and can’t wait to show you what he has planned.
First its a nice but casual dinner up at the saloon and a couple of drinks just to spend some time together. Then he brings you back to camp where he has a boat waiting for the two of you.
He helps you in the boat and rows you out into the middle of the lake, far out of sight of the other members. The two of you laugh and have fun together, exploring one of the nearby islands before hopping back in after seeing a snapping turtle.
Lenny brings out a gift that he had hidden under his jacket. Its a brand new pair of riding boots and he promises that he’ll be here long enough to see you wear them down to the point of needing a new pair because he’s promised to grow old with you.
Sean Macguire
For your three year anniversary Sean has to hold the biggest party for the gang.
There’s going to be whiskey everywhere and a table for people to bring you gifts, cards and letters but they won’t be opened that night because you’re too busy celebrating.
Sean stands on top of the table after his fifth? No sixth whiskey and tells everyone just how much he loves ya
Of course in the late hours of the night when everyone starts to crash and its just the two of you together Sean is a puddle of tears and a total softie as cuddles you and tells you that he’s so in love with you that it should be criminal.
