~ According to tradition, the activity of Perun began with the first spring storm, which awakens nature to new life. The first thunder was given great attention in folk customs and many ceremonies were associated with it, such as moving vessels in a room as a sign of releasing thunder from winter sleep, driving an ax into the ground as protection against lightning, etc. Slavs attributed special healing powers to objects struck by lightning and e.g. trees, as well as hilltops, where regular atmospheric discharges took place during storms, were enclosed by a fence or surrounded by a ditch and worshiped as places with a great concentration of beneficial power. In this context, an axe also meant a tool or a weapon with a strong magical protective effect against unclean forces and diseases. It was placed, for example, under the bed of a woman in labor, on the threshold of a barn or stable, in the field at harvest time to prevent hail, etc. Perun's other powerful weapon was supposed to be thunder (stone) projectiles, i.e. belemnites (fossils of molluscs ×) and fulgurites (glass formed by remelting the rock). Their discovery was considered a good sign and they were placed, for example, as protection in babies' cradles, in roof trusses against the danger of lightning, or used to treat eye diseases, bewitchment and to make childbirth easier.

Natural ? History & "The devil’s arse”
Like, Francis Bacon’s Sylva Sylvarun, Grew’s Catalogue of the Royal society  and Brown’s Pseudo Epidemica, Leigh’ Natural History, is a conglomeration  of current scientific knowledge, misinterpretation, ridiculous lore and my favorite, outlandish impossible tales. Leigh’s book has one more thing going for it is the extremely crisp and clear engravings. Unlike the others it also has as subject…

What we took for a stone bead from the sea turned out to be a fossilized mollusk, a belemnite, known as "devil's finger", "gnome candle", "dragon's tooth", "Perun's arrow", etc. Today we went down the boulders to the shore and found a whole scattering of them. They are about 150 million years old.
Belemnite can be crushed or grated and applied to wounds. It helps to quickly heal wounds without scars, as well as get rid of acne and other cosmetic problems.

The haul of small fossils like an typical beachcore trip finds, but I was not near any beach or sea. I’m recently vary happy now.
All of this little fossils like the skeleton coral parts, mussels, belemnite nautiloide and crinoid traces found in my direct neighborhood & at my workplace area near the parking lot with the gravel rose beds.
I’m absolutely not near any sea. All new mussel & coral parts eagerly to find with luck within my work time outside from the last days.
After weeks of hopefully thinking, to find some coral traces myself on this area are now reality.
