When we left the the Soviet Union as a child we were so happy to end up in America. How did I end up living on the Russian River ... and eating in Sebastopol (which is also a port city in Ukraine ... or Russia, depending on who’s talking). I’ll let a shrink figure out the connection but I’m glad to be in this area enjoying amazing food - like lunch at Handline in Sebastopol. A great space - inside and out. Small but nice beer list. And delicious food. We couldn’t figure out what NOT to order so we went a bit wild. Two half Dungeness crabs. Rockfish ceviche. Cauliflower tacos. Fried fish tacos. And a masterpiece simple house salad. All washed down with this tasty Groundbreaker Brewing IPA from Portland, Oregon. We ate so much lunch became “linner” (lunch + dinner).
