why am i posting so many texts posts in a row? it is because my covid symptoms are gone, my period is over, and my brain is functioning again
#did i get exhausted from taking a 20 min walk on saturday before the heat set in?#did i spend the rest of the day napping just to recover?#also getting your period and covid at the same time is like…god’s fury unleashed#period cramps AND a sore throat that makes you choke?#it’s more likely than you think#it’s all a huge bummer because i was starting to lift heavier and feel stronger than i have in years#and now my exercise is taking a short walk around the block#if you’re not masking then i highly suggest you start#(and i HAVE been masking which shows how contagious this strain is tbh)

i saw royal blood on friday and it was wild…within two minutes there was a mosh pit, ben was in the audience, and i was covered in someone’s beer. i lost hearing in one ear even tho i was wearing ear plugs, got bruises all over my arms, pulled every muscle, and made way too much eye contact with mike kerr. then i maybe almost got kidnapped by my uber driver 😬
#it was a very weird situation and i’m still 50/50 on if i was genuinely about to be kidnapped or not#i’m fine i’m not gonna get into it right now#ANYWAY#royal blood are very fun live i’ve never seen them even tho i’ve been a fan since before the first album#they’re LOUD tho my god i can’t imagine how loud it was w/o earplugs#worried about my ear it hasn’t fully recovered yet 😬#i was only 15 min early but miraculously got barricade in front of ben and directly in front of a speaker lmao#it was very fun tho aside from the injuries…and the uber thing…#why can’t i go to concerts without consequences 😭#last time i got covid this time i almost got kidnapped#maybe. still not sure#leaning towards not actually but?? it was very weird

oh also i no longer have covid but it was in fact one of the worst symptoms of my whole entire life in a couple days i got about 9 hours of sleep all together but luckily it didnt last as long as the last time i had covid. which was last year and lasted about 12-14 days

THAT. was a torment that lasted so so long#everytime i drove to my uni's bi weekly mandated covid test (2020 thingz) i would have a wet spot unless i laid my#'emergency trapped in snow' quilt on the seat beforehand#btw i cured it via copious moisture sucking bags (not the powder ones those spilt twice on me and were a pain in the ass to get out and#didnt help) and driving to the nearest sketchy carwash to vacuum out the water daily for a few weeks#and then promptly moving to sunny florida where the sun dried the rest. pro tip: car got wet? just move to florida ez#i think of my sad wet pants walkig thru kroger everytime i listen to nickelbacks 'far away' which was playing when i first drove in it afte#2020

#one of my granparents is in the hospital and he's kinda critical right now#I'm not super close to him but I've already lost two of my granparents in the last years#the one I was closest to (my grandmother from my mother's side) was a total hit just before covid and I've barely recovered from it#then my granddad from my mother's side and it was a degenerative condition that left my nerves wrecked#so yeah :( it feels like it's been non-stop mourning for a while

Welp, I can safely say that October and Halloween have been ruined for me. I envy everyone who can actually look forward to the festivities because my heart is just not in it this year :/
#vent#it's been a shitty month and I'm not looking forward to the future#we still have stray cats we need to catch#work is kind of a shitshow and the encroaching holiday rush is not helping#my friend has been in the hospital on a ventilator for days and i still don't know what exactly is wrong with him besides fluid in his lungs#(he's gonna be okay but I'm still worried sick)#the election is looming and I can't even begin to think about the future of our country right now#and just to top it all off i got a jury summons#I'm just waiting to get in a car accident or get covid or get screamed at by a customer#it's been the type of shitty month that makes me wish i could just stop existing for awhile#I've been going between longing for a nice day trip into nature to reset and just straight up wanting to die#and i get that most of this doesn't sound that bad but with my GAD and social anxiety on top of my depression it's all too much#the worst part is this guilt complex that's been eating at me#I'm convinced I'm a bad evil person who should die horribly and it's hard to recover from that when it's constantly playing in my head#I will never ever be good enough and it fucking hurts#it doesn't matter what sort of evidence there is otherwise#somehow someway my brain will convince me that it's fake and that I'm horrible and should kill myself#all i can do these days is play video games and try not to think about anything
