I have Vergier family feels again…
Inspector Vergier started working on the ‘Mystere Incident’ (or at least, he started writing about it in his file) three years prior to the game’s present time. The ‘incident’ has something to do with a string thefts of artworks and antiques, all baring the same mark.
Constable Loic mentions that Vergier has been working on this case since Emma died, implying that Emma’s death had something to do with the ‘Mystere Incident’. This is never confirmed and as we don’t have a sequel, it probably never will be confirmed, but it’s cool to speculate.
Who do we know who stole a load of artworks with the mark and disappeared three years ago—? Oh, hi, ISAAC!
The timing here just seems too coincidental. The fact that Charlie’s mother could have died around the same time Raphael’s dad left… hurts my heart.
What if Emma’s death was what drove Isaac away? Maybe Isaac could handle moonlighting as an art thief while he was still living with Raphael, but being involved in someone’s death was too much for him. Either Isaac wanted to escape or he became even more embroiled with the Chevaliers because “There’s blood on your hands now, Isaac, old chap! You might as well rise through the ranks of the Chevaliers!” (My flawless Jean-François impression!)
Wouldn’t it be so bitterly ironic if Inspector Vergier lost Emma because he started looking into the Mystere Incident, but then after her death, he just dedicated his entire life to the case— pushing away the one family member he had left?
During Chapter 8, when the Chevaliers start terrorising Paris, Vergier muses about how those involved in the Mystere incident have been up to something. By ‘those involved’, he must mean Graf… who Vergier later realizes is Jean-François (not the teenage rhythm thief Vergier has been chasing with the Paris Roller Skate Brigade)…
If Emma did die three or so years before the game, this might beg the question of why Vergier carries around a family photo from years ago, when Charlie was a baby. It’s not impossible that Emma died while Charlie was very young, but then again, maybe Vergier just keeps the photo with him for sentimental reasons… and so he would always have the message Emma left him:
‘I will keep our family safe while you keep our city safe. I know you will not let us down, my brave, noble constable.’
Vergier promised Emma he would protect Paris, while she promised to protect their family. But then, Emma died because he was trying to protect Paris… but how can Vergier continue to protect Paris if he needs to protect what remains of their family? How can he keep his promise to Emma and keep Charlie safe, while he’s grieving? This isn’t helped at all by the fact that Charlie’s pink school dress and cardigan looks so much like what Emma wears in their family photo…
As it turns out, Charlie can protect Vegier, while Vergier protects Charlie, and they can work together to protect Paris.
Charlie didn’t understand why their father was so obsessed with saving Paris until they saw Emma’s message on the photo. In Charlie’s words, they didn’t know that was how their mother felt about their father. Upon returning the photo to Vergier, Charlie remarks, “You owe her, non?”, echoing how Charlie feels like they owe Phantom R for him saving Charlie.
It’s not actually about owing anyone— Charlie just uses this as an excuse to keep helping Phantom R…
It’s about helping the people you care about and trusting that they will help you in return.
Both Vergier and Charlie seem to have realised this by the end of the game. They team up with Phantom R to storm the Hanging Gardens and take down the Chevaliers. In the game’s final scene, Vergier yells at Charlie that it’s the Constabulary’s job to catch the Rhythm Thief, but he’s actually smiling, so you know this is all just a game to them and Phantom R now…
During the Vergiers’ bonus episode, Family Ties, Vergier and Charlie team up to defeat some leftover Chevaliers in Les Invalides. (Chasing the harmless Rhythm Thief is fine, but not the chevaliers!)
In the opening narration to the episode, Charlie mentions that their father still refuses to discuss everything that happened with them… and later, Vergier tells Charlie that the case on the Mystere Incident is officially closed. (‘Officially…?’) Vergier tells Charlie to stop interfering… but, realising that Charlie will never listen, he just asks Charlie to stay within his sights.
Vergier then walks out, leaving Charlie alone at Les Invalides…
Inspector Vergier got some good character development… but he’s still not the best parent :’D (Still, leagues better than Isaac and Jean-François!)

introducing my psycho-pass oc! brought to life by @catyypss 💜 i haven't fully fleshed out the details, but here's what we (i) know about her so far!
⤷ kogami's twin sister ⤷ honestly, i haven't given her a name yet. 😂 ⤷ originally an actress/singer (i actually wanted to explore what celebrities were like in a sybil world, but then season 3 came out and we did get to see that! how cool!) ⤷ BUT she became an inspector once her brother was demoted ⤷ (she really wanted to protect her brother! 😭 and she thought this was the best way to help him since he wouldn't have access to everything anymore.) ⤷ respects her brother a lot and looks up to him (they have a good relationship!) ⤷ also went to high school with kogami & ginoza ⤷ as kids, kogami tried to make her a bookworm but homegirl just... would not. (definitely teased her about it.) ⤷ people assume she's not that booksmart but she ranked above average at school & she has a sharp memory (it helped her a lot as a performer, but if she showed off a little while investigating -- can't blame a girl) ⤷ kogami & ginoza were both concerned when she said she'd become an inspector. kogami was much more quick to accept it (he trusts his sister a lot), whereas ginoza was much more upset ⤷ relatively good at maintaining her hue (learned a lot of stress management as a celebrity) ⤷ among the enforcers, she and yayoi chat a lot about music (though their tastes are very different), and maybe she and masaoka came up with ideas to tease gino ⤷ she's honestly not sure what to make of the sybil system, especially post-season 1; it's a system that judged both her brother and her friend (ginoza) so harshly. she knows they're both good people, so how fair can it all be? ⤷ personality-wise, i think she's level-headed and headstrong (would also be the type to stop bullying, with her words not her fists), she's charming and knows it, and growing up around kogami's teasing, she also loves to have fun and use her wit in her own way ⤷ post season 1 idea? she becomes a reporter or journalist (i just love the yayoi & oc team agenda!) to focus on elevating unheard voices, particularly of people sybil would try to otherwise ignore or disapprove of (very big immigrants rights activist in dejima once japan opened borders) i also think she would be so cool as a spy...
oc and ginoza ⤷ ginoza was interested in her when they were in school (come on, she's super pretty!), but i hc that he didn't feel confident asking her out (and has likely super tsundere about his feelings this whole time) ⤷ he DID support her during school plays/shows ⤷ i think oc was also intrigued by this serious guy from the get-go and soon developed her own crush, but because of her career, maybe she didn't have time for romance either ⤷ they were still good friends all throughout school and into adulthood (ginoza would attend oc's shows/premieres and bring flowers!) ⤷ UNTIL kogami's demotion ⤷ as much as he respects his best friend and as much as he cares about oc, he just doesn't think it's a good idea for her to enter the mwpsb for a reason like this (she doesn't realize what she's getting herself into) ⤷ let's say they're just disgruntled partners for a while (but gino's a softie; he's not going to stay mad forever!) ⤷ BECAUSE I WILL GO DOWN WITH THIS SHIP!!1!!! ⤷ given ginoza's personality pre/during s1, i think she would have to be the one to pursue him a little ⤷ but once he's demoted, nothing else matters, the floodgates open, and he tells her his feelings ⤷ i think because the two of them already cared a lot about each other before the timing was right, it would be emotional when they first get together (oc wants ginoza to be happy and want more for himself, ginoza wants to cherish and be good to the person he's held at arms length for so long) -- not sure if they tried dating before and it failed, and then tried again after ginoza becomes an enforcer, or if they try for the first time only after he's an enforcer. either way, the road is very long and filled with pining.
i know i've typed a lot, but i feel like i've left a lot of holes in her story. i mean, she doesn't even have a name yet... how can i name her ship?!?!?
i really want to develop her former life as an actress/idol more! (particularly, a darker story, like a crime happening at her agency or something?) give her some work-related trauma.
i also want to explore her naïveté, with how she decided to become an inspector. obviously, she passed the requirements, but does she have the heart? can she pull the trigger? what's gonna be her "oh shit" moment? (she needs PLENTY!!)
other minor things: ⤷ it was meeting akane that made her realize the way she supported her brother wasn't what was healthiest for him and his mind. she respects her a lot! ⤷ she really loves cute people! so she really wants to be a big sis to characters like mika, kei, arata, etc. (naturally, she thought baby gino was ADORABLE)
some future ideas i want to focus on: ⤷ how does she separate herself from her brother? ⤷ would she and gino even work as a couple? (too late, they gotta since i already commissioned art of them. LOL)
that's all she wrote (for now). if you see this, please help me come up with a name. i want it to be pretty! ;-;

It's my birthday today, so I want to share a happy Derek Hale headcanon! This post is gonna be super long (like, you need to set aside time to read it because I have too many feelings about Derek Hale), so I'm putting most of it under a cut to keep your dash cute. But after I tell you the short version of the headcanon so you can decide if you want to proceed:
I think the proudest moment of Derek's life is when he became a big brother to Cora, and that he would have excelled at being one for all of the girls in the pack if he'd been given a chance to do so.
I imagine that Derek had always idolized and adored Laura as his big sister, even when she was being a superior little shit to him because she was older than him, or forcing him to play dress-up with her (even if he secretly liked it a little bit because it was nice to be pretty sometimes). So when Talia announced that she was pregnant with Cora, little Derek took the idea of becoming an older sibling Very Fucking Seriously. I'm talking interviews with his mom and Laura for tips and insider information about being an older sibling, and following his mom and dad around to make sure they were getting everything Cora might need. He's only maybe 3-5 years older than her, so I imagine that he forced Peter to teach him how to read early so he could read all the parenting books he could get his hands on. For the books that were just too advanced, he would make Peter or his parents read them to him so he could absorb the information still and leave no stone unturned. I'll bet he questioned everything, asked a million why's just the whole way through. He probably knew more about babies than any of the adults in the pack, and he probably appointed himself the inspector for anything that was purchased for use for/by Cora leading up to her birth. Only the best for his baby sister, he'd make sure of it.
And when Cora was finally born, he was immediately fucking obsessed with her. It didn't matter what kind of mood she was in or what she was doing, whether she was fussy or wailing or happy or doing nothing at all, Derek was right there and ready. If there was something he could do to help her, he wouldn't hesitate to do it, but if it was something he was still too little to handle alone, he would immediately take off to run and get an adult. And he'd supervise that adult the whole time, just to make sure they didn't mess anything up.
He was probably inconsolable when he finally had to start going to school. Just so upset at the idea that he couldn't stay with Cora all day.
As they grew older together, he helped her with everything he physically and emotionally could help with. He was always very aware of his age/size limitations, so he learned very early how to use the adults around him like tools to assist in helping his little sister out. He probably helped potty train her, helped her learn how to walk and talk, was a champion at preventing her from falling or smashing her fingers in things, taught her how to tie her shoes, helped her figure out how to hold a spoon with or without claws, and he probably even taught her how to howl properly just in case she ever needed to contact them (him) in an emergency and he wasn't there for some reason (I imagine he does this while glaring at his mother because it's her fault that he has to go to stupid school instead of staying home where he can keep Cora safe at all times). Because of her constant exposure to him, Cora probably came to idolize Derek in much the same way that he idolized Laura, and there was nothing in the world he wouldn't say or do for the well-being of his baby sister. He was about that big brother life like you would not believe. Derek loved being a big brother, and as much as the loss of his entire family devastated him, it was the idea that he'd lost Cora that broke him the most.
So, I imagine that getting her back in 3A was the greatest gift that he'd ever received, even better than Cora's birth in some ways because he'd missed her so very much and missed so much of her life in the 6 years they were separated. Still, after almost a decade of pain for him, I like to imagine that after her almost being killed by the Darach, he finally decided to take this second chance for what it was. He was going to take the opportunity to reconnect with her with both hands and never let go. This is why I hate so much that they just disappeared Cora entirely after the season finished because Derek had just gotten his little sister back and they didn't even have the decency to make that matter for Derek.
So, in a post-season 1-4 utopia where everyone lived and no one died (I'll never forgive them for what they did to Erica and Boyd either), we've got Derek now in a pack with Allison, Lydia, Erica, Cora, Kira, and Malia, all at the same time. And he. is. reveling in it. The fact that he has Cora back alone gives him the push he needs to get his life back in order, but he's also got a pack again that he cares about, and he's got even more little sisters to love and protect as far as he's concerned. Not that he would ever say it in so many words (or at all), but the girls totally know it anyway and also secretly love it. But yeah, he has to get his shit in order for them so they can know that he's someone they can lean on and rely on in times of need, And he fucking dotes on these girls like it's his job and fucking preens whenever his efforts are positively received. Everyone knows that the girls are his soft spots, even the most oblivious of the boys (Scott), though no one ever mentions it in a negative or demeaning way after that one time Jackson made fun of Derek for buying an array of pads and tampons once, just to have on hand in case the girls ever needed them, and Stiles lit his ass up so swiftly and brutally that he refused to come go back to the loft for a week (it takes a lot to cow Jackson into submission, and so far, only Lydia and Stiles have managed it).
I imagine that he keeps little things on hand for each of the girls, just to make them feel comfortable at the loft. He keeps bulk bags of the seasonal shapes Reese's on hand for Erica all year long because she's obsessed with them and will only share them with Stiles, not even Boyd (but only 1 out of a 65-piece bag, which Stiles respects). He buys Dasani water bottles in bulk to keep on hand for Allison because she prefers it over other brands but doesn't really like juice or soda. There's an abundance of throw blankets and pillows in the loft because Kira gets cold easily and likes to burrito up on the couch when she's there. He keeps advanced mathematics puzzle books and books full of increasingly difficult math equations and formulas all over the loft for Lydia to pick up and try out when she needs to relax and let her brain frolic for a little while (and he keeps each books she completes because he's just so proud/in awe of her amazing brain and what she can do with it). He makes sure to have plenty of comfy seats/squishy cushions available near the windows for Cora to lounge in and stocks the bookcases with new titles every two weeks because she is and always has been a voracious reader of any and all genres in her spare time (just like him). And for Malia, he keeps a lot of high protein-rich and texture-varied snacks around because her metabolism is still out of whack from being a coyote for so long, and she likes to crunch/chew on things when she's hungry, bored, or stressed.
He also makes sure to spend time with each of them individually, doing things that they specifically like not only to help foster their interests and just fucking bond, man (he does the same for the boys, but he most looks forward to his time with the girls and feels most rewarded by their outings) but also to assure them that they matter as individual people and not just as members of the pack.
He and Malia go for full-shift runs through the preserve as often as she needs, and honestly just spend a lot of time in their wolf/coyote forms because it helps Malia feel more settled in herself. He also spends a lot of time tutoring her and helping her get back up to speed academically, but they also have a ton of conversations with about being human and how difficult that shit is sometimes for people like the. He helps her figure out how to reconcile being of two worlds as they are, and how not to sacrifice one half of herself in favor of the other. Cora helps with this too, but I've always felt like Derek was far more comfortable as a were-creature than most, so Malia values his insight a lot more than anyone else's and looks up to him for managing to navigate the world pretty well, all things considered. He makes sure she knows that it's actually okay if she feels more like a coyote than a girl most of the time and helps her find coping mechanisms for those times that she feels out of control and can't get to somewhere that's safe for her to shift (she spends a lot of time in her beta and full shifts at the loft because Derek has designated it as a shifter safe-space). Through these conversations, they almost inadvertently manage to help each other with their trauma about the loss of their loved ones in relation to what they are (because Derek sometimes falls into the idea that his family would still be alive if they weren't werewolves because Kate never would have singled him out if he weren't), and they become two of the best fucking full shift were-people on the West Coast because of it.
With Cora, the two of them just go on a lot of night drives through town and sometimes to the surrounding cities (I imagine Beacon Hills to be somewhere near Placerville, CA, so it wouldn't take all that long to go in either direction down 50 and get to a bigger city). This is actually why Derek gets rid of the Camaro in favor of the FJ Cruiser, even if it is ugly, so he can handle the hills a little better. I think their family used to go on road trips a lot like mine did instead of flying anywhere, so they're both more comfortable bonding in a car than anywhere else, so I always imagined that that's what they did at the end of 3A, just took a road trip to nowhere all so they could relearn each other as family instead of as reluctant allies. And they stop in the oldest bookstore they can find in each place they stop so they can both get a new book from each place and rebuild the library of books they used to share. So, whenever either of them gets too much in their own head or has nightmares, or even just can't fucking sleep, they'll hop in the car and go for a drive for a while to clear their heads. They pop on Derek's old iPod (he had it on his person when the fire happened, so it survived) and just jam out and chill together. I think this is the time they take to reminisce over their family because it's just the two of them. There's no one there to make it awkward if they tear up or get angry because they understand each other perfectly.
For Allison, I think that their activities are sparring and, oddly enough, baking. Allison is still atoning for her season 2 actions, and for her family's fucked up history as a whole, so I can't imagine that most of the betas are all that willing to spar with her. Boyd, Isaac, and Erica are still a little afraid of her, Lydia doesn't really like to fight (at first, but I'll get into that later), Scott can't bring himself to potentially hurt her still even though she's with Isaac and they're no longer dating, Stiles is more likely to hurt himself than her, Kira will spar but isn't advanced enough yet to be able to keep up, and Malia doesn't know how to hold back enough for it to be training (Jackson refuses to spar with anyone but Peter and Derek for fear of ever hurting his friends again, and they all accept and support his choice). Derek, though, understands what it means to be used the way she was and to bear the weight of a regret and remorse that shouldn't belong to you alone, so he spars with her and runs her through tracking drills in the preserve because he's not afraid of her and wants to give her the best tools possible in order for her to be able to keep to her family's new code as best she can. He understands the weight of a legacy like that, so instead of simply being allies, they become friends and pack, and they keep each other in check simply by ensuring that they will always consider each other when confronted with other were-creatures or hunters that don't have their best interests at heart.
And with the baking, well. This one is simple. Derek's father loved to bake, and so did Allison's mother, and while their losses come from different places, they can both understand what it means to love someone and lose them in a tragic way. And they can forgive each other for the parts they played in those deaths, no matter how direct or indirect, for Kate's part in his father's murder and for Derek's part in her mother's suicide. They squash the Argent/Hale feud over cookies, cakes, and pies, and the entire pack is better for it, for their two best fighters coming together and finding common ground over macaroons (and these two can bake their asses off, guys, the shit they bake is so good that there's actually talks of them going to confectionary school once Allison graduates so they can open up a bakery together afterwards).
With Lydia, a lot of people would think that they go on shopping sprees and for mani/pedis, and they do, but that's not those aren't their favorite things to do together. Their absolute favorite Lydia&Derek activity is to stay in, dress down in jammies or sweats (no makeup to be found), and watch movies and eat like shit all day. Derek has never once told Lydia that she can't watch The Notebook for the thousandth time because she's never told him that he can't watch Love Actually for the thousandth time, but they mostly love to unabashedly watch shitty action and horror flicks while pointing out all of the inaccuracies/impossibilities that occur in them. They both unabashedly love Queen of the Damned and love to hate Blade: Trinity and they have a novel's worth of theories about how they'd handle a classic horror or slasher situation (mostly because they know exactly how they'd react in a situation like that, given their lives). Lydia also has a fascination with martial arts films, about the artistry in Wushu specifically, and for one of her birthdays, Derek signs her up for and pays for her to attend lessons at a dojo he found in Sacramento, and he even enrolls himself alongside her so she doesn't have to do it alone. He drives them to and from each lesson and gets them dinner afterward so they can discuss the techniques they learned, and they regularly practice on their own to the point where they quickly climb up the belt ranks. Derek and Lydia often present their belts to each other (instead, like, a parent or sibling or whatever) because they both know how hard the other has worked to get there. And Derek makes sure Lydia always knows just how proud he is of her for her strength and tenacity to learn something like this despite no one ever thinking she could or would, to make herself into a weapon no one would ever suspect while still remaining her flawlessly beautiful and wickedly brilliant self all at the same time. Also, I kind of imagine that Lydia ends up progressing into other forms of martial arts from this, and Derek goes right along with her because he's her absolute biggest supporter.
For Kira, their activities are also two-fold. These two are nerd out over lore together and play video games. We know that Derek is actually very smart, and his mind is a steel trap of lore and supernatural history that just delights Stiles sometimes. If you recall, he knew exactly what Kira was when he saw her, and I imagine that he actually knows quite a lot about kitsunes and their history. He probably has access to all sorts of resources that Kira needs, and because her mom oftentimes seems very withholding about sharing Kira's heritage with her, I feel like Derek gets her every book, tome, and scroll he can find on the subject and puts her into contact with other kitsunes he knows of just so she can be properly armed with the information she wants/needs about herself and seek further training. If there's a question he can answer, he does so willingly and without hesitation, and he's probably the one who helps her figure out how to mask her aura so she can be safe, not so she can become ashamed of herself or what she is. After that, these two just end up nerding out over various bits and pieces of lore they come across, and they eventually end up working together (along with Stiles and Lydia) to compile a pack bestiary, that way they can all access and reference the information in a concise and clear fashion.
I feel like their love of lore leads to them finding out that they're both huge fans of the Witcher series, though Derek has yet to play the games and is initially only a fan of the books. When Kira figures this out, she immediately invites him to play the games because she owns them all. Derek's no stranger to games--he actually quite enjoys the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series and played a lot of StarCraft back when he had time--so it doesn't actually take a lot of convincing on her part to get him to sit down with her and try it out (yes, Stiles is super fucking salty about this but is often allowed to join them in their gameplay sessions). This man becomes immediately fucking obsessed and falls in love with the attention to detail and lore presented in the series, and he plays each one multiple times before letting Kira coax him into Dark Souls (and the two of them attend many a midnight release for those released later in the series, and for Bloodbourne and Elden Ring too), which eventually leads to Kira explaining Mortal Kombat's lore and getting him to play, and then they backtrack to start the Final Fantasy series, and this continues on and on until these two are eventually going to gaming conventions and eSports events together. They do joint costumes for any and all conventions they attend (they go as Geralt and Ciri for their first one) and they win several costume contests because of how well-done and accurate their costumes tend to be. These two become a nightmare of a dream team when it comes to playing against them during pack nights. Like...no one has ever beaten them at a video game, not individually and certainly not when they're on the same team, and everyone wants them on their team when it comes to group games because they're both that damn good. It frustrates the shit out of the rest of the pack, but they often use it to their advantage by signing the two up for gaming competitions where they are both inevitably underestimated and end up shit-stomping their competition so severely that they're often accused of cheating. But they aren't. They're just that damn good.
Actually, I feel like this also leads into Derek sharing his love of tabletop games with Kira, which eventually leads to them trying out tabletop roleplaying games (which Kira puppy-dog eyes the rest of the pack into trying) until, eventually, Derek and Kira are co-DMing a years-long D&D campaign for the pack that they keep even when everyone goes off to college and into adulthood when they return and start working their grown up jobs. Kira and Derek are bonded in nerdom forever, and they couldn't ask for anyone better to share that sort of joy with.
And as for Erica, well. He loves all of the girls, loves the whole pack, but Erica will always, always, always hold a special place in Derek's heart. There is nothing Erica could ask him to do that he would say no to. Part of that stems from her being his second beta and the only girl of their original little pack, but it mostly comes from all of what Erica was never able to experience before the bite. Think about it. Depending on when Erica's epilepsy developed or started becoming an issue for her, she's probably missed out on so many "normal" things like parties and movies and even fucking carnivals and amusement parks, guys. So, I think that Derek is her co-pilot in life while she experiences all of these things, just to make sure she remains safe while doing it but also so she can feel safe and live.
The whole pack has season passes to Six Flags in Vallejo so Erica can get her fill of all of the rides and games she never got to experience as a kid. They go to every pop-up carnival that comes even remotely close to Beacon Hills, and they go at night so Erica can look up at all the blinking lights and have the colors all stand out in contrast to the darkness, and she loves it. She makes Derek win her prizes at the rigged games, and she wins him prizes at strength and agility games because she likes to show off. Derek even gets her a fake ID so they can sneak into dance clubs and raves, and he endures all of the noise and lights just for her because she deserves this freedom and has lived long enough without it.
Unlike Lydia, Derek actually does accompany Erica on shopping trips, but that's because he's actually got impeccable taste and will be honest with her about whether something looks good or not. I've always suspected that Derek is the one who paid for her wardrobe after she got the bite, and that he's the one who walked her through how to do her hair and makeup too. He learned a lot from Laura and was often tasked with helping her when she couldn't get a braid quite right or couldn't reach the back of her head, so teaching Erica how to do those things was a way for him to help his beta and keep his big sister's memory alive at the same time. I imagine that he tells her all sorts of stories about Laura while he's deep conditioning her hair or touching up her roots for her, and Erica covets and hordes every single one of them because she knows what a precious gift they are to her.
So, yeah. Thanks for reading my dissertation of Derek Hale's gooey feelings about the girls in his life. I would apologize for how long it is, but I'm not sorry and think that more of us should share this sort of stuff with each other, even if we're not writing fan fiction or sharing the fics we are writing.
Maybe I'll do a companion post about Derek and the boys of the pack...who knows?

reading through all of our current notes on divided we conquer, our dcmk/genshin impact crossover! some thoughts, with varying levels of context:
• oh my god diluc is such a trainwreck before morgan (his robot clone) comes along.
• hot high school teacher/undercover fbi agent zhongli was a brilliant idea. ajax is so jealous of collei having zhongli as one of her teachers
• diluc giving cassidy (APTX shrunken kaeya) a blood transfusion in the desperate revival arc and cassidy not knowing until diluc's already long gone is so fucked up actually
• kind of ironic actually that scaramouche is a scientist like dottore in this au.
• the detective girls are so precious to me <3
• albedo is keeping the most secrets out of everyone in this au, and somehow, exactly none of them are his own
• its pretty funny that the inazuma characters are whoops all cops lol. this includes itto btw. in our defence: you cannot get any worse than inspector yamamura from gunma
• crepus was the first KID. no he's not a scumbag like toichi we promise.
• he has a wife and husband btw who are still alive and kicking and a fairly active part of their sons' lives :)
• on that note uhhh. who's going to tell inspector aisling alberich that his dead husband was the first KID and his son diluc is now the second KID he's currently chasing.
• and also that his wife inaya was ALSO an internationally wanted thief before she retired to marry her two husbands and became an actress.
• morgan is so important to me btw. and also to diluc. morgan is his emotional support robot pseudo twin and without him diluc would be so much worse trust me
• probably the biggest reason diluc gets away with hiding KID from his papa (aisling) is elzer and adelinde. the real mvps
• inaya totally knows though.
• dainsleif as hakuba saguru is the funniest thing lmao. he's so not normal about trying to catch his classmate diluc as KID
• jean definitely thinks dainsleif is onto something, but also if dainsleif actually gets court admissible evidence to arrest diluc with, you fucking bet she's blackmailing him to hell and back. they've already lost kaeya, she is NOT losing her other best friend even if he is an internationally wanted thief for some reason
• KID (diluc) and cassidy (kaeya) after seeing each other less than 24 hours prior during a heist: man i miss my brother </3
• oh yeah kaeya is like. hella missing. he's not keeping contact at ALL. diluc is not okay about it (he wears kaeya's face as a disguise sometimes because he misses him.)

You know I always had this AU in mine about Inspector Gadget I call The MAD Fox AU
In this AU Inspector Gadget is actually a Mad Agent in disguise spying on HQ for M.A.D
He is actually very clever and has an IQ of 200 but a psychopath/ sociopath underneath (I don’t know which is more dangerous so you choose)
And when he was young his parents group of scientists took him apart and replaced his body parts with his gadgets yet his parents always treated him like a lab rat. Things got worse when his younger brother was born because he was actually treated like a human being by his parents and one day Gadget almost gourde his baby brother’s eye out with his gadget.
So his parents threw him in a asylum for the insane and completely disowned him
Gadget stayed there for the half of his life everyone in the asylum feared him and whoever was a roommate with him would die in a gruesome way
Until one day a new patient admitted to the hospital and by fate he was roommate with Gadget that roommate was Claw of course at first weeks they were together they didn’t talked to each other Claw out of fear and wanting to live while Gadget simply didn’t want to but after a while Gadget and Claw became closer to each other and became good friends and became even more…
Turns out Claw and Gadget was similar as they thought before,
The reason Claw was here was because he was abused at home and bullied at school and one day he snapped (I don’t know what else I could add to the backstory but something similar to Gadgets) and because of his tragic past he wanted to take over the World!!!
Gadget supported Claw’s dream but he knew they had to do something to help his lover achieve his dreams so he did the only logical thing left
He sat The Asylum on fire and left everyone inside to burn while escaping with Claw turns out Gadget had a chance to escape but never did because he had nothing to live for until he met Claw
So the two escaped together and started MAD with Claw’s leading skills and Gadgets IQ they made M.A.D the biggest crime organization ever but of course they needed to hide their identity and Agent Names, Claws obviously was Dr Claw while Gadget’s was The Mad Fox (I chose that name because Foxes are very sneaky and clever animals and stuff) and one day Gadget heard the news his brother and wife died when a robber entered their house and the only survivor was their daughter Penny and out of pity Gadget took in Penny and raised her as his own while handling M.A.D in the side
But as M.A.D grew the police took more notice
So they needed a spy on the inside and Mad Fox decided to vaunter as the spy
So Mad Fox joined the force as A Happy Go Lucky man with Gadgets with a niece to raise his plan was entering the police force as a useless officer but a very good at people to get info for M.A.D for a while it worked but as Penny grew not knowing anything about the truth of her and truly believing he is an idiot Penny decided to help his uncle with his cases and unfortunately that made Gadget promoted to Inspector which irritated Gadget so he tried acting like an actual idiot which backfired, tried getting a puppy to his niece to distract her it backfired again but killing her was not an option because of his niece would suddenly get killed it would be suspicious so Gadget took dangerous missions on purpose hoping Penny would die in one of them
While working for M.A.D
Sooo how is the AU?
Honestly I really dig that AU.
I love the idea of Gadget faking being an idiot but working with Dr.Claw too is the icing on the cake.
I also dig the fact that this man really set an entire asylum on fire just to escape that's actually diabolical.
I also love how Penny could possibly be a conflict of interest like I can only imagine how things would turn out if she got older and wiser about these things.
So I guess my only question is basically does Gadget like obviously check in with Claw a lot to tell him what he knows about HQ etc etc.
Because honestly this is a pretty impressive way to not only have an au but also have it in a way that it fits the show's status quo

Part 5
The Murphy family of Milo Murphy's law is in my opinion the least developed of the main families, due to the shows focus on school shenanigans and a time traveler subplot, not helped by it’s relatively short run time (H&G is already at 23 to MML 40)  But the Murphy family, tied together with the hereditary Murphy's Law is an extremely important element of the show. How the family bonds because of it and how even those who don't suffer from it make allowances in their life for those who do.
Milo values his father's advice immensely (as a fellow sufferer of EHML). Sara, while often a bit paranoid, and sometimes plans events around avoiding her father and brother, loves them dearly and makes sure to include them in things important to her. Brigette is shown to enjoy extreme sports and change, but still finds her husband and son exhausting at times.
While most of the extended Murphy family only features in the Christmas special. Beyond Milo's parents, sister and dog, he also has grandparents, an aunt, uncle, cousin and ancestors. These characters are all delightfully charming in their own right. His grandparents are constantly talking over each other so they are incomprehensible unless you're focusing on one, his aunt and uncle are somehow more positive than Milo, and his cousin is in denial about the whole thing. Sheriff Murphy’s attitude. Each member of the Murphy family showcases a different way of approaching the Law. Grandma Murphy is a bit of a badass, presumably necessary when raising two sons with Murphy’s Law. Martin became a safety inspector and chooses to be a bit more cautious, using his condition to his advantage all while managing it to the best of his ability so it causes less damage otherwise. Joey chooses to frame everything going wrong in the most positive way possible, as it can’t be things going wrong if you refuse to acknowledge the events as negative. Meanwhile Nate ignores it and tries to live his life out as best as he can without acknowledging that the things going wrong actually aren’t more than normal troubles and therefore easily manageable. Grandpa depends on family traditions and taking pride in Murphy’s Law to give it meaning, to make him feel empowered in living with it.
There's also a cousin Reggie who Milo mentions once as having painted the Mona Lisa that's hanging in the Louvre, but he's unseen and probably on his mom's side. (The Louvre is in France and there is kind of an implication of French heritage on one of his grandmother’s sides, so he could have family in France. It could easily be Grandma Murphy, which would be funny if she, a Danger married a Murphy. But there really isn’t enough information to make any assumptions and it’s probably more coincidence than anything).
Many of the episodes are about the family. For instance, there’s the family vacation episode, the roller disco derby episode and the episode where Sara and Milo go after shirts they believe to be important to their mom. And even in episodes not just about the Murphy family they still often make appearances, such as in Picture Day, Goulash, or Love Toboggan where the Murphy family may set the scene, providing motivation or the goal.
There’s something to be said about how despite the Murphy family being inherently unusual, and carrying that label with pride, how normal they really are. Brigette is shown to want normal mom things, like half-decent pictures of her son, or beating other mom’s at Goulash competitions, while knowing full well what she was getting into when she married her husband (and even otherwise may even like the excitement Murphy’s law may provide). Sara just wants teenage girl things like her date not going totally wrong, or getting to enjoy a movie premier. Even Milo and Martin are shown to be rather normal and annoyed by their condition at times. Martin likes lattes, and gets worried about their insurance premiums. Milo worries about his future and getting held back in school, gets excited when meeting celebrities or about learning. And of course Diogee may be the best dog in the world, but other than his penchant for getting himself anywhere in the world when Milo needs him, is an extremely ordinary dog. And both Milo and Martin at least are shown to enjoy skiing and really the whole family seems to enjoy just getting out and doing things. So much of Milo Murphy's Law is the Murphy family doing ordinary things just with Murphy's law throwing some curveballs in. The Murphy family is at their core, a normal family.
Even when Milo isn’t spending time with his family, he carries his family in a lot of what he does. Milo constantly brings up his fathers extremely specific sayings, and constantly making references to the wild stories his family has lived through. Milo goes out of his way to invite the Murphy’s to Christmas, he brings up his family as the thing he loves most immediately when asked. Sara carries her family in her love of Dr. Zone, a fan because of her father, and making space in her fandom for her brother and his condition.
The Murphy family is more defined by blood than the families in Phineas and Ferb due to the fact Murphy’s Law is a hereditary condition, and thus the blood relations is something that brings them together rather than relationships forged in absence of it. In Phineas and Ferb family is the similarities despite surface differences, and love despite relationship tensions. In Milo Murphy’s Law it’s the differences despite surface similarities, and love despite external problems. But that doesn’t mean that blood is the end all be all in Milo either. Far from it.

Elite the Spanish Netflix show is a true tragedy
If you were around during 2018 and early 2020 on YouTube, you have seen the edits and potentially had been equally obsessed as I was with the Spanish Netflix show Elite. Which centres around Spain’s most wealthy high schoolers who experience murder as 3 scholarship students enter their school Las Encinas. A lot of the character arcs and plots directly mirror Shakespeare. While I’m unsure whether or not this is intentional I wanted to point out some solid comparisons between the show and Shakespeare’s body of work. Additionally, I’m vaguely aware of the ideology that almost all modern literature and media throughout the ages follow classics like Shakespeare because we as humans can’t help but draw inspiration from everything and anything we see, read and listen to. However, I find it interesting that each season (the later ones not as much) follows a similar structure and loosely follows a Shakespearean tragic storyline. I would also like to point out that I will only be covering seasons 1-3 because after that the show essentially recycles the same storylines. Therefore I will only be covering the original characters’ story arcs throughout those seasons, characters like Patrick, Ari, Mencía and more will not be covered.
The iconic structure of Elite
The structure of Elite follows a similar one to that of Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller. While being a tenuous connection, both flash between the present and the past through the perspective of the central characters. That comparison has no relevance except for pointing out the show structure which I’m aware isn’t unique just to Elite and Death of a Salesman. The season starts with, of course, a crime needing solving. In season one it was Marina’s murder, then in the second Samuel’s fake abduction and finally in the third Polo’s death. As I stated before, each episode delves into the outlooks of different characters, the first ever episode being from the standpoint of the new scholarship students- Samuel, Nadia and Christian. Each is interviewed by ‘Inspectora’ or the inspector in the present and flashing back to the leading up events. What makes this structure so intriguing is the fact that the different perspectives make the entire suspect list unreliable narrators as they all have different versions of their own stories. While the facts are laid out, a lot of the information is withheld from the viewer. Again, I’m aware this is a common trait for all murder mysteries but it’s the combination of tragic features and murder mystery features that is interesting to me. My favourite season, the third, makes a direct reference to this by naming each episode with the character that it is in the perspective of. Allowing every character to become the protagonist of their story, even if they are the killer like Polo. This is because Polo wasn’t the villain, he was just unlucky enough to be another wealthy and entitled Las Encinas student who was never questioned by the adults around him for his violent or malevolent behaviour and lashed out towards Marina. Like how Guzman almost killed the scholarship student who gave Marina HIV. Polo became a victim of his environment and that led to his tragic fall. The point I’m trying to make is that through the structure, each character can play out their Shakespearean tragedies. Some even recreate multiple.
Tragedy and Elite
The most tragic part of Elite is watching the protagonist Samuel Garcia, a naive, loyal and noble character turn into the person he most resents. Marina’s killer. Samuel the show's tragic hero, becomes corrupt with power. As he falls deeper and deeper into high society Spain he takes on Polo’s role as Carla’s boyfriend. In that way, Samuel becomes Macbeth and therefore Marina’s killer. Carla is both a tragic victim and a villain in the same way Polo is a villain. She committed the crime and is therefore a villain yet she still appears as a victim. Though Polo appears to be Macbeth and Carla Lady Macbeth at the surface level, the show structure allows viewers to humanise them in a way that we wouldn’t usually. We’ve grown such a close relationship with everyone that it is hard to see one character as evil and the other as good. This is because we’ve seen every character’s point of humanity and point of inhumanity. Marina is through and through a tragic victim, she is an admirable woman and character, uncorrupt even though she is surrounded by power and she is resilient despite all her misfortunes. Despite all this, she dies from it. Dying from the competitive circumstances wealthy parents put their children in. Regardless, she was two-timing and drove a wedge between two brothers. Now I’m not saying she deserved to die, but in tragedy typically the tragic victim is an entirely innocent woman or character who is collateral damage of the hero’s tragic fall. The fact that Marina is presented as separated from that corrupted part of society she’s so closely connected with but still is in some ways equally evil makes it in my opinion even more tragic. However, perhaps Marina is the modern-day tragic victim who is the manic pixie dream girl. We get to know these characters so intimately that knowing the factual events right at the end makes us question our morals. Learning Marina dies halfway through season 1 begs the question of whether her death makes her past actions excusable. Does that make it right that Samuel later dates Carla? Does that make her a tragic hero if she is flawed? Having every character be flawed takes away from Elite’s classical and traditional aspects of tragedy but in that way creates a modern and personal tragedy that the public can relate to. Arthur Miller wrote on the topic of tragedy in his essay called ‘Tragedy and the Common Man’, “That the tragic mode is archaic, fit only for the very highly placed, kings or the kingly… I believe that the common man is apt a subject for tragedy in its highest sense as kings were”. So to combine that idea with the supposed elites of Spain, humanising them further contributes to this idea. Making tragedy relatable, is the modern version of Shakespearean and Greek tragedy. Additionally, the protagonist of the tragedy Samuel, is a common man who is noble but corrupted by power leading to his tragic demise later on in the series when he dies. Just like Macbeth. However, Polo is the one who follows Macbeth’s arc scripturally and mentally.
Elite and Romeo and Juliet
It is given that multiple characters in a show about the working class meeting the disgustingly rich in their cushy private school will follow the Romeo and Juliet tale. The ones that come to mind first are Samuel and Marina, Guzman acting as Marina’s overbearing bitter father- Capulet. The two struggle through forbidden love, Marina a child of wealthy and influential parents and Samuel a poor scholarship student. Their love is similarly kept secret like Romeo and Juliet when they get married in secret and their love causes their tragic demise. Marina dies in part because of their love- or more her love for his brother as she steals Carla’s father’s watch to run away with Nano. When Marina dies, a part of Samuel dies. That part of him that is oblivious to the black hole that is wealth and the consequences that come from it and being surrounded by it. By season two, Samuel is a far more angry and vengeful person, rid of the passive and kind person he once was. Evident in his later relationship with Carla. You could also argue that Nano is Marina’s Romeo too in a similar way to Samuel but represents a darker and more complicated love that further escalates Samuel’s transformation. He loses not only a part of himself but also a section of his support system- his brother Nano.
Another example is Ander and Omar who share more of a similar conflicting worlds to Romeo and Juliet. Omar’s religious parents cannot accept his sexuality and Ander’s father cannot accept that through his love for Omar, he mustered up the courage to tell him he doesn’t like tennis and additionally does not fit the hyper-masculine jock perspective that his father has of him. What’s interesting about their relationship is that Ander isn’t from a wealthy family like the other Las Encinas kids- his mother is just the principal. That being said he is certainly meant to be wealthier than the scholarship kids however this makes it so that the conflict within Omar and Ander’s relationship is not about wider social status disparities but because of conflicting families. Mirroring Romeo and Juliet’s tragic circumstances. Through Omar’s parents, a more nuanced and complex version of Romeo and Juliet is explored through homosexuality and what that factor means to people like sportsmen and the elite.
Being Omar’s sister, Nadia shares an equal problem with him. Except Nadia and Guzman are truly two conflicting families and two conflicting worlds. They are emblematic of the Romeo and Juliet story in Elite. Guzman is immediately not accepted by Nadia’s father as a white and entitled man and Nadia is immediately not accepted by Guzman’s world as she is forced to conform to it to be with him as a Muslim woman. Though the show rather ignorantly presents her transformation of losing her faith as being rather liberating I see it more as her being sucked into the vacuum of wealth just like Samuel. Losing the true, good and noble aspects of themselves. In letting go of her religion, she lets go of herself and her identity and morphs into the one expected of Guzman’s white and cutthroat world. Guzman however does not die metaphorically or literally at the hands of their love, perhaps he loses a part of himself through his sister's death. The only thing their love does for him is humble him, and make him more of a likeable and grounded person. Possibly in this way, the arrogant and entitled element of him dies for his benefit.
Elite and Othello
The writers of 'Elite' exhibit a disturbing and almost perverse obsession with threesomes and throuples as a continuous plot point. It is unsurprising, then, that the homoerotic trio of Othello is mirrored in multiple characters. That trio is Desdemona, Othello and Iago. The most obvious being Carla, Polo and Christian. Polo early on in season 1 takes on the role of Iago, controlling and almost obsessing over this pornographic image of the fair lady being dominated by the rougher and more oppressed male ‘soldier’. Though Polo and Carla start as the initial relationship, Carla and Christian form a far more emotional and true relationship within their trio. Whereas Polo seems more sexually obsessed with the two, in a similarly confused homosocial way Iago had towards Othello and an equal obsession with the Madonna being adulterated into the whore like Desdemona. Both Christian and Carla are brought to their tragic falls by Polo’s corruption, Carla being made accomplice albeit by her own choice and Christian again losing that same part Samuel lost when he joined Las Encinas. Additionally falling further by trying to speak up and gain his lost self back but is hospitalised by Carla’s father and bribed into silence by offering to pay for his surgery in Switzerland. Further succumbing to the power of wealth which he can no longer escape. Additionally both of them through their tragic blindness fall because of Polo’s corruption just as Othello and Desdemona fall because of Iago’s Machiavellianism.
To take Iago out of the equation, the Garcia brothers and Marina share a similar story to Cassio, Desdemona and Othello. Marina and Samuel act as Othello and Desdemona, both infatuated with each other or rather the stereotype they represent. Samuel represents the opposite of Elite society Marina is trying to escape and Marina represents the world Samuel is trying to enter and be accepted by. Therefore their relationship shares the same superficiality as Desdemona and Othello’s relationship as Othello values Desdemona as a prize of being a desirable and pure white woman and she values Othello as a masculine and dominating black general. This equal fetishisation is reflected in Marina and Samuel. Nano comes in as Cassio almost, another working-class man infatuated by Marina’s wild spirit and wealth just as Cassio is another nobleman mesmerised by Desdemona’s beauty and purity. However, he differs from Cassio’s character as he genuinely did have an affair with the other guy’s woman. Either way, they all cause each other's tragic demise: Marina’s death, Samuel’s metamorphosis and Nano’s banishment (being accused of killing Marina and then fleeing the country).
Lu takes control of her ‘play’ in a similar way to Iago. Manipulating Guzman into trying to seduce Nadia and take her virginity- she does this out of pure jealousy and maliciousness just like Iago. What’s more, as I stated before Iago has a perverse obsession with the virtuous woman becoming ‘tainted’ and Lu finding intrigue in the Muslim woman going against her faith and acting out of pure lust echoes this. Perhaps she even shares the same homoerotic obsession with Iago. She therefore exploits those around her to try and cause Nadia’s demise, in this way Nadia is Othello and Guzman Desdemona. She is an outsider because of her race and religion and Lu’s obsession with that fact is reminiscent of Iago’s fixation with Othello’s race. She also discards her Muslim values to fit in with the predominantly white environment of Las Encinas. Just as Othello denounces his Ottoman heritage and religion and takes on the image of a model Christian man.
Elite and Macbeth
Perhaps the writers were aiming for more of a Bonnie and Clyde feel for Polo and Carla but what I see more is Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. This parallel is drawn because Polo kills Marina, and Carla helps cover it up for him before she is consumed by guilt and edges towards letting herself become an accessory to murder and telling the police the truth. When Christian’s pre- Las Encinas self is consumed by the corruption of the wealthy he is similar to Banquo’s ghost haunting the school hallways and Carla and Polo. As they watch him become a shell of the enthusiastic and lively person he once was. This is the main drive for Carla to want to confess, she wants to be free of her guilt towards Christian. Not because she killed him directly but because they formed such a personal relationship within their three-man couple she feels a responsibility for Christian’s corruption of becoming an accessory to their crime. This feeling is solidified further when Carla’s father hospitalises and bribes Christian and directly hobbles him both mentally and physically permanently. The guilt Polo feels towards Marina is also a similar personal responsibility to Duncan and Macbeth as Marina is his best friend's sister. Therefore Polo is Macbeth, Carla Lady Macbeth and Marina Duncan.
A less obvious version of this tragedy would be Samuel and Carla as I said before when stepping into Carla’s bed he steps into Polo’s role of Macbeth. I think this idea is confirmed in season 3 when Polo dies, and in that way, Polo sort of becomes Duncan for Samuel in a more tenuous and complicated way. Samuel takes his kingly position as the sexual partner of the wealthy and beautiful Marquise. While Lu is Polo’s killer I think Samuel is the one who truly finishes off Polo as he leads the plot to collectively cover up his murder. Therefore not allowing him justice because of Polo’s past crimes and taking his girlfriend he kills Polo and steals his throne. Additionally, Marina is presented as Banquo in Samuel and Carla’s relationship as her ghost haunts him, especially at the beginning of his pursuit of Carla. Though initially he intended to find justice for her he ended up being just as bad as the rest of them. He initially is consumed by guilt with his infatuation for Carla but kind of has an opposite transformation to Macbeth because he changes from being extremely weak-minded to being very strong-willed. His transgression is him having the confidence and power of a wealthy man while still being working-class. That being said Carla and Samuel are my favourite relationships in the show because of how complex yet passionate their relationship truly is.

Random HCs of Pav and Gayatri (applies to both canon and the NSpideR AU)
Pav and Gaya became friends when Gaya was singing. Pav fell in love with her voice! The others… were afraid of her though.
Later, they realized that Pav wanted to be like cool boy like Gaya and vice versa. They were both trans! They chose each other’s names.
Gaya’s dad immediately accepted her because it all clicked for him, the clothes, the rejection to cut her hair, her friends mostly being other girls… Her mother… didn’t. She just said it was going to be a phase, and ignored her wishes. She was also afraid of her daughter’s powers, which she had no immunity to.
inspector Singh decided to fight to get full custody of his daughter to keep her safe.
he somehow succeeded, and now Gayatri barely meets her mother. (She has abandonment issues and anxiety though)
seeing how Pavitr makes his daughter happy, inspector Singh considers Pav to be his secondary family.
now, they were both in elementary school and quite content, but as they got older, people made strange jokes around them saying that “boys don’t have feeling for other boys if they aren’t gay.” Turns out they were both mspec.
After the rock revolution, things got much harder for Pav. His peers teased him for being the cousin of Eve, and started to fear he would “Diva Realm” them
those fears became true, and he accidentally used his powers on them.
this earned him a recommendation to go to Nueva York.
Pav was miserable in Nueva York for the first few weeks, barely talking to anyone but Gayatri, via video chats every night.
Hobie reached out to him, and asked how Eve was able to master her powers while not going to Nueva York.
This is all I have for them now…
1). She had absolutely thought she hypnotized him at first and refused to talk to him or get near him. After a while though, when the singing would have OBVIOUSLY not been affecting him though, and he still tried to hang out with her, that was when she started to let him in closer.
2). Oh that's really sweet! I like that a lot!
3). I for some reason felt like Gaya's mom isn't around at all (either died or left, forgot what I wanted to go with), but if she is around I can definitely see her being like this. Possibly having Gaya be mute or extremely quiet because of no immunity to her voice like her husband ended up having.
4). Good for him! Keep his daughter away from that awful woman (especially if she did what I suggested in keeping Gayatri quiet).
5). Poor Gayatri. At least she has a father who wants her and is absolutely willing to fight for her.
6). At first I do see Inspector Singh being hesitant to let Pav around, but like you said, after seeing how happy he made her, especially after the divorce, you better believe he was doing what he could to make sure Pav stayed in his daughter's life.
7). For some reason I always read mspec as "male spectrum" and not "multiple spectrum/multiple-attraction spectrum" and so think it's specifically a term for gay men. Anyway, wouldn't they be seen as a "straight" couple, or were people just being total asshats and accepting Pav as a guy while denying Gaya the label of girl. That's probably what it was.
8). There's probably rumors that Eve poisoned Pav's mind or that Eve ran away to NSR because of Pav being born. Like truly awful shit to try and make Pav feel bad (as well as him being unhinged or crazy like Eve). Literally anything to try and get under his skin.
9). The fears coming true in that instance probably made even more rumors spread and the ones already around just got bigger/more "real" to everyone. Pav is in an absolutely lose-lose situation with no outside help really coming (other than Gaya and Nueva York's "help")
10). More like a "strong recommendation" that Pav and his family couldn't really fight against (though thankfully Pav actually believed in this company and so went willing and wasn't giving the traumatizing forced to go to Nueva York option).
11). And yea, even if he did go willingly, he would still be miserable because of the culture shock, loneliness, and overall situation her was in sucking the joy out of almost everything.
12). Pav hadn't thought about how Eve had mastered them, but that was enough to make Pav snap a bit out of his depression and think a bit. It got him talking with Hobie a bit and the this is probably when Hobie starts to hint that Nueva York isn't actually going to help Pav without fully saying it yet (Pav is still in shock from everything and Hobie wants to get his trust before outright saying how shitty Nueva York is and to not trust it)

about my mother:
ah hugo! climbing under a lorry
they’ve got an undercover inspection so elle wants to split them into two teams to add a little competition and jacob suggests doctors vs nurses
and connie’s back😬 and she’s moving in to dylan’s office? did elle not have her own office before she became acting clinical lead?? i’m always confused about the office situation with the consultants because the way the offices get mentioned it’s as if they are meant to have one each but like when zoe came back after connie had the cl office redone she had to share with ash, and connie having to share with dylan here presumably meant that elle was sharing with dylan previously? but if there really is only one consultant’s office surely they would refer to it as “the” office when talking to each other? but then we see both ethan and will’s offices in s34 and it doesn’t look like they’re sharing with anyone? but maybe that’s because will was paeds?
aw connie looking at grace’s generic social media page ‘PalsNet’ and the last thing she posted before the accident was ‘there isn’t a single thing about my mum i like…’ :(
hugo’s asking after grace, saying she hasn’t been answering his texts and he’s heard she hasn’t been in school :(
aww “we had a date once, we went skating. i miss her. she is okay, isn’t she?” :((((
lmao noel’s asking his network of receptionists for any descriptions of possible inspectors and he tells the nurses he’ll give them a heads up on the condition that he can be on their team if they win, and then he goes and says the exact same thing to the doctors sjdkfkkg
ethan’s trying online dating skdkfkgk
ethan: “i’m really not sure i’m cut out for this online dating” lily: “you’re not. it’s for losers and weirdos.” cal: “thought it’d be right up your street!” looks at mr grayling walking past “i know you’re into losers” lily: “not anymore. i moved on from you a long time ago.” HELPSKDKFJFK YES LILY GET HIM
i mean cal’s right about lily and mr grayling though🤢
connie lies and says grace is at hockey
louise is being really over the top nice to everyone because of the inspection skdkfkkf
loll cal grabbing seb and telling the nurses that patients love hot young doctors and seb’s like “yeah if only it worked on dylan” sjsjfk
mr grayling sure is hanging around a lot. i guess no one thinks it’s suspicious because they’ll assume he’s there to see lily or sebastian
jacob telling elle he slept with someone else😬 she’s like “connie’s child is seriously ill and you go and get your leg over with someone random? classy!” and tells him he has to tell her because she’ll find out at some point anyway and she deserves better. i love how elle is always genuinely sticking up for connie despite how connie interprets everything she does as a threat.
lmaoo cal and ethan overhear noel talking to robyn and realise he’s playing them
aw ethan’s looking at his online dating thing again and cal’s like “are you still at it?” and he’s like “yes, if i was just funnier, sexier, and about 5 inches taller”😭😭
skdkfkkg louise comes over and they tell her they overheard noel talking about how she’d gotten a complaint from a patient and she insists she was dead to him
ohh connie’s noticed that mr grayling is hanging around for an unusually long time. i think she just thinks he’s there to see lily though. i feel like if she wasn’t off her game she’d have at least considered the possibility that he may be the inspector at this point.
aww jacob brings grace down because her doctors are trying to discharge her but connie yells at him and then hugo sees and runs away because she lied to him :(
poor hugo :(
lmaoo cal taking a picture of ethan for his dating profile telling him to “smize for the camera” and then going “that is actually painful” yknow cal’s actaully right again because what on earth is he doing with his face😭😭😭
oooo louise starts having a go at noel after she’s finished having a go at the patient and then when noel tells her there was no complaint she starts having a go at cal and robyn reveals the patient has actually made a complaint now and jacob is also mad at cal saying the nurses did nothing wrong and dylan says more like they were doing nothing at all and tells them how david suspected meningitis in a patient and didn’t tell him and they all just descend into arguing in the middle of reception right in front of mr grayling who then reveals that he’s the inspector😭😭😭😭 yeahh i’m not sure making a competition out of it was the best idea elle😬
of course connie stops pushing jacob away and invites him to move in with them just as he’s trying to tell her he cheated
aww grace’s whole post from before was actually not the whole thing it’s actually positive and they’ve put it over connie and jacob taking her home🥺🥺
although it doesn’t really sound like something a 10 year old would write on social media tbh

Rebecca Whitehurst never wants to set foot in a school again.
She also wants all teachers, especially female ones, to wear bodycams, to have CCTV in every classroom and for teachers to operate in pairs. “I think teachers should never be alone with children, there should always be someone else there. I know it is dramatic but I don’t want what happened to me to ever happen to anyone else,” she said.
The views of Whitehurst, who is married with two children and has been a modern languages teacher for more than ten years, have been shaped by what she describes as a “modern horror story”.
Last week the 46-year-old wept as a jury at Manchester’s Minshull Street crown court cleared her of two charges of sexual activity with a child and one of sexual communications. She had been accused of a sexual act with a 15-year-old pupil in the back of her Volvo and of sending him explicit texts, including a photograph of her breasts.
The court heard that the teenager, who had declared he was in love with Whitehurst, became obsessed with her and lied about or faked the messages. The boy, who watched pornography involving older women, assaulted her in her classroom and sent an abusive message to her daughter, the court was told.
The family spent £43,000 fighting the case, which dragged on for three years. If convicted she would have faced up to 14 years’ in jail.
Speaking from her home in Cheshire where her husband, Billy, an accountant, has “been unbelievably supportive”, she said her experience at times felt like a television drama.
It unfolded against the backdrop of a rising number of schoolboys watching online pornography, and pupils’ mental health becoming a frontline problem for many schools.
Last year, an Ofsted report found 90 per cent of girls and 50 per cent of boys polled by the schools inspectorate said they had been sent explicit pictures and messages they did not wish to see. A survey for the British Board of Film Classification last year found that almost half of 16 and 17-year-olds had recently seen pornography. Figures from NHS Digital found that one in six children in England had a probable mental health disorder last year, up from one in nine in 2017.
Whitehurst’s ordeal started in April 2019. The boys’ school where she taught French, German and Spanish had paid for her to attend a three-day course on mindfulness. She was asked to teach the subject — not to lower the stress of high-achieving children in the run-up to exams, which she had suggested, but to children on the inclusion register, who have special educational needs and disabilities. “I said yes because I am that sort of person,” the Sheffield University graduate said, but admitted to being nervous about teaching a “wishy washy” subject to children who may have experienced significant trauma.
In an early session with the group of ten boys the 15-year-old who would go on to accuse her said he was hearing voices in his head telling him to kill someone. “I thought OMG,” she said. “As soon as I could I reported it on our safeguarding system . . . I reported it on there and thought someone would talk to me about it, but no one did.”
As the sessions continued the teenager “latched” onto Whitehurst, who tried to give him “sensible advice” via the school’s email system.
He talked about being in a gang and, in an area of the city linked to the Manchester bomber, Whitehurst also feared he was at risk of getting involved in terrorism. When he started to talk about how he had “this big secret” and she was the only person he could tell it to, she made, she admits, a critical mistake.
“He had said he wants to kill people and is in a gang,” she said. “He was talking about going to the mosque. All these things were adding up in my head. I thought there was a bigger picture and I would find out about it and report it.
“I tried to get him to talk to staff who were better trained in such matters but he said no. He said he did not trust the school email which we were already communicating on. In one email thread he emailed me a ghost emoji and I realised he meant he wanted to tell me the secret on Snapchat. I downloaded Snapchat on purpose because I thought he was going to give me this big secret.”
Whitehurst said the secret was nothing to do with terrorism: “The secret was he was in love with me. I realised I had made an idiot of myself. I told him nothing like that was ever going to happen and there had been a misunderstanding. I told him I had to tell the school. He would say ‘they are not going to believe you’ and that I had made a mistake in giving him my Snapchat username. I should have reported it but I did not and I know now that that was an error.”
A few weeks later the teenager came into Whitehurst’s classroom when she was alone. He tried to force his tongue into her mouth, touched her intimately, slapped her face and spat at her. She tried to push him away, which he told the court he thought was encouragement.
“I do not think he knew how bad it was what he did; I know porn was available to him, he sent me lots of links which I never opened but I have an idea of what he watched,” she said. “I think he thought slapping me and spitting at me was sexy in some way.” Again, she did not report the assault. Whitehurst admits she was scared and also “again I thought I would be held responsible as I am the adult and he is the child”, but from then on things got steadily worse.
Over the coming weeks he gave her a necklace and sent naked images of himself which she deleted. He “begged” her to meet him outside school. Still worried about his state of mind, she met him several times in public places, including at a charity run she was doing in a Manchester park where she thought there was no risk of him “launching himself at her”.
At school Whitehurst volunteered for extra duties to ensure she was not alone. She applied for jobs in other schools.
In September 2019 she broke down in the playground when a colleague asked her if she was OK: “I said no and blurted it all out. She said she would have to take this to the head teacher.”
Whitehurst agreed with the head teacher that the matter would be reported to the police and the local authority safeguarding officer and that she would be suspended pending an inquiry. “My logic was, they will understand,” she said. “They will know he is difficult and that I wanted to help but mismanaged things.”
Whitehurst was shocked in her first police interview, two months later, when she heard that the boy had accused her of having sexual activity with him and sending him photos of her breasts.
The pandemic meant that the investigation dragged on. She did not hear anything until last year when police said they had downloaded data from both the phones, including a screenshot of a fake text conversation in whch she appeared to be suggesting sexual acts with the teenager outdoors.
“I thought, ‘I never sent those’. They did not look right. They were obviously fake. The language did not add up. I did not need a professor of linguistics to say that was not me,” she said.
“It was extraordinary that what he said was believed and I was not. He said it was consensual. And we were in love.
“I kept thinking the police will look at all this properly, tell me this will be dropped and say, ‘You poor woman’.”
As it became clear that the case would go to court Whitehurst switched lawyers. Her new team instructed an expert witness to look at the downloaded data from both phones. His report — which cost the family £8,000 — made clear there was no evidence that a photo of her breasts or a text suggesting outdoor sex acts had been sent by her or received by the teenager. Still the case was not dropped.
A week before court, Whitehurst says “calm descended”. She decided not to wear a face mask or hide her face and be “as brave as I could be”.
By video link the teenager gave contradictory evidence and admitted the assault on Whitehurst. The jury took less than three hours to acquit her.
Whitehurst’s case may be extreme but it is not isolated. There is a website on which teachers share dozens of accounts of false allegations. Teaching unions called last year for pupils who make them to be excluded and for fully funded mental health programmes aimed at boys.
Christian Harbinson of the law firm Thompsons solicitors, which represented Whitehurst, said: “An underfunded criminal justice system is unable to cope and that stretches out the agony for innocent people like Rebecca. It’s taken almost three years, since the allegations were first made, for her to clear her name, during which time Rebecca’s life has been on hold and her family have had to deal with an unimaginable level of stress and worry.”
Asked whether the teenager, now 18, would face an inquiry for possible criminal offences, Greater Manchester police said it had no intention to investigate “the child victim in this case”.

            Let’s cut to the chase and analyze;
Tumblr media
NEW WILLOW!!! WILLOW APPEARANCE! MY BABEY GIRL!!! This MUST mean that synopsis for Any Sport in a Storm is REAL, Willow and Hunter??? HUNTLOW REAL IS THAT WHY DANA DREW THEM LOOKING AT EACH OTHER I AM GONNA DIE!!! I’M SO EXCITED I MIGHT VOMIT NO JOKING HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE FUCKING BEST!!!
She… My girl… She’s got a new hairstyle and glasses, symbolic of a new change! Feeling comfortable, based on the synopsis, I think Willow has become part of the Grudgby team and is embracing this! The synopsis says it’s an ‘exciting NEW sport’ so maybe it’s not Grudgby or something else, but still!!! Willow becoming popular at school, going feral and embracing her power??!? THIS IS EVERYTHING I WANTED THANK YOU DANA SO MUCH!!!
Tumblr media
We’ve also got Luz in some sort of weird Viking helmet, throwing an icy glyph in some bony place! Maybe it’s related to King’s people, but if I had to spitball here, it’s Hollow Mind; Luz is inside the skull of the Titan, and the helmet could be part of a disguise, or to protect her OWN mind from the effects of the Titan’s skull… Did Philip not do this and became Belos? Either way she’s fighting someone, hopefully another Coven Head!
Tumblr media
EDA!!! The background kinda looks like it could be inside the Owl House, but more than likely it’s Follies at the Coven Day Parade, she’s down for business and has snuck in close to rescue Raine! She’s probably fighting the Plant Head, in which case; MORE COVEN HEADS YEAH!!!
Tumblr media
Luz and Amity looking shocked??? They’re wearing their school cowls and it’s nighttime… Did they learn something about Philip via the journal??? THAT HE’S BELOS?!?! Or some sort of truth… Banking on that now. Or maybe they’re reading the letter from King’s dad, after Hooty FINALLY spat it up!
Tumblr media
Because we see in our NEXT shot King and his people!!! Okay so it’s not even subtle, King’s people are refugees who survived a genocide by Belos and are in hiding, DAMN. Glad to know King’s not the last of his kind, I’m so happy for our boi he gets to meet his dad again ASAP! His species are such fluffy people… Luz is wearing Eda’s letterman AND the sailor bandana from Separate Tides! If I had to guess, this is Edge of the World, and she sailed there with King, his father, and Hooty to where King’s species has been hiding! Will we actually see Salty cameo again, iirc Dana was super-happy to meet his famous VA in real life for this cameo so…!
(Also like Hooty being there for protection, as a callback to Echoes of the Past where he also wanted to learn more King lore. And probably to make up for eating the letter lbr.)
Tumblr media
HUNTER BEING CAUGHT BY VINES!!! HUNTLOW PEOPLE!!! HUNTLOW!!! Luz and Amity try and fail, so it’s gonna be WILLOW who takes no shit and is stronger than either of them, capable of taking on the Golden Guard even when he’s not panicking! Hunter’s using Rascal… It looks like he was trying to fly away on him before Willow caught him! The fact that Rascal is out in the open during Hunter’s undercover mission for Belos makes me wonder… Does Belos learn/reveal he knows at the beginning of this episode? And do some abuse tactics and mind games, say it’s okay, he’s not mad just disappointed? Is this Hexside mission a way to make up for Rascal, to justify keeping him as some deal???
And WHY HEXSIDE??? What’s so important, is Belos keeping an eye on Luz and Amity? Is he checking out how Bump has changed the curriculum, and now he’s very conscious about the social changes that Luz is making to his system? So to prevent Bump from saving face with an official inspector, he’s sending his nephew to see how Luz’s influence has caused the school to change? And/or is there something special about Hexside… Grom? It was built on the bones of a rival school, will we see lore for THAT school as Hunter tries to find something there? Willow catches Hunter; Either he’s been exposed or he thinks he has, but it’s a misunderstanding.
Tumblr media
King and Hooty in some sorta… Contraption? I have no clue. More one-on-one time with King and his Uncle Hooty… What if Hooty realizes he made a mistake with the letter, so he’s trying to soften King up with some fun times before admitting the truth? Or is King having a go at some mech so he can wreck people with it???
Tumblr media
LUZ IN HER LETTERMAN SHE’S SO GORGEOUS!!! Nothing else to say here folks. Her hair…!
…Okay that’s a lie, more to say; We see Luz wearing the letterman while with King’s people! So it’s possible she starts wearing it irrespective of whatever sport Willow has; Probably as a hand-me-down from Eda, after Luz cements her decision to stay in the isles and is given this gift! So Luz embraces the legacy she’s adopted here… She’s wearing fingerless gloves in this shot but not with King’s people. Maybe she’s in the middle of playing Grudgby/the new sport, which could suggest she joins the team with Willow… And maybe GUS too? And then King’s dad shows up and this leads to an impromptu journey.
God… Only eight new shots from this promo but it’s already so much! More Willow screentime and relevance, Huntlow material… LUZ, King’s people! Eda! THIS IS EVERYTHING I WANTED TOH CREW THANK YOU!!! You keep giving in spite of Disney trying to take, y’all are real ones.

I have been left on a cliffhanger, and now I understand in some small measure how people felt in the gap between MAG 185 and 186. What a great cliffhanger tho, with Jon phasing out and Martin nodding along till he realizes he's alone and the tape ends.
Quick commentary tho on the actual content of today's three eps:
I find that most statements in S5 this far have generally fallen in one if two categories: the ones that are there for the "message" and the ones to help push along elements of the plot. Generally there wasn't much overlap in the first half of the season, but now that we're pushing into the endgame there's def some more overlap occurring. Admittedly MAG 183 (Monument) falls more into the former than the latter category but we do get the introduction of Martin's "personal journey" plot arc leading up to the entrance of London. But more to the point, I enjoyed Monument in part because having gone through a Bachelor's degree in Physics at a smaller state University, you tend to bump into at least one or two of the type of people that were stuck in the Monument. Admittedly, none of the professors I knew were ever that cartoonishly prideful, but there was always that one female Dr. who would give out reprimands if she was ever addressed as anything else if you messed up more than once. But also not to say that professors and doctors who are that cartoonishly prideful don't exist, just means I was lucky enough to have never met them while I was in school. I will say, seemed a *bit* sexist to imply all the academically prideful wankers in the tower were all men, but I get it; most people who go to those lengths for their academic careers generally *are* men and particularly those who would fear being so very very wrong... Well I get. I don't agree, but I get it.
Now that I've alienated my audience, MAG 184 (Like Ants) is almost serendipitous in relation to MAG a day: two Corruption statements in one day? what’re the odds? But in any case, this was a great set up for revealing Jon's other major power relating to other people in the apocalypse... Upgrading people from Watched to Watcher. You may ask, "if Jon's trying to be better, why would he curse someone to Avatarhood?" Well for a lot reasons, most of which he explains in the episode, but I think a reason that was too... Basic? To be spoken would be he was curious to see what would happen exactly and wanted to give the gift to someone he cared about personally. Listen, this man has been asking questions since we met him and after he Became it got 10 times worse. Even in the Apocalypse he's been asking questions it's just now he has instant access to all the answers that the Eye has. So do you really think Jon, if given the choice between less guilt and getting his questions answered, would ever actually choose "less guilt"? Thank for listening to my TED talk.
Gosh, I loved though how *finally* Martin seems to be realizing at least a little where Jon's coming from. Yeah yeah, unlawful detainment, Jonny feeling the need to apologize for it getting too real... Listen it's appreciated but hilariously enough it was a "bit too real" with war flashback central back in 163. Anyways, back in topic, 185 was great because Martin finally connects the dots on why Jon isn't smiting everything he sees and why he hasn't been raising everyone they bump into to Avatarhood. Why the domains perpetuate even without a guiding hand and what happens when they are *truly* removed of their foundational fear.
But what interests me more is how Martin tries to decide whether the inspector should be "lifted up". Martin has always tried to make the world a better place after the end, and it's interesting that he seems to think that that means people should strive to be better people to do so. Not happier, not necessarily less Fearful, but going ever towards a world where Love outweighs Fear as a grand whole. So when given the choice of potentially lessening one man's suffering but forcing him to instead subsist on the suffering of others, he asks Jon whether the man would enjoy that new existence of living on other people's suffering? Jon basically says yes, based on the man's previous behaviour and outlook before the apocalypse, he more than likely would, and so Martin judges the man and tells Jon to leave him. So instead of lessening the man's suffering but ultimately encouraging him to be a worse person by "rewarding" his previous bad behavior and allowing him to feel good about hurting other people; Martin chooses to keep that man in suffering so that when him and Jon eventually save the world, he can come out of it potentially having realized that what he had been doing was wrong because had had suffered like that himself.
Martin, in this choice, has learned that him and Jon have basically been given the power of deities: to judge if someone is worthy of less suffering, and then to make it so they have greater responsibility, if a similarly miserable existence. Martin has made the choice that he would rather people do not live if they are to subsist off the suffering of others, particularly if they enjoy it. And if I've heard the rumors about the next episode correctly, Martin will discuss with himself the full implications of his world view to their logical conclusion and I actually can't wait to discuss it.
EDIT: I revised the MAG 184 section a bit because I had forgotten (somehow) that Timothy Hodge and Jordan Kennedy were two very different people lmfaooooo.

MLB Five Crossover Stories (Free for ALL)
I have these five stories that had been stuck in my head all my life. And I figured, why the heck not and share it to you guys? So, here they are. And heads up, they’re not part 1-5 stories. They’re separate stories. And also, I hope you guys like anime. Because they are some I believe that might be familiar to some of you. And the Salts and Sugars may not what you guys expect them to be, but hey, I like it that way, I have my reasons.
1. Nanbaka
Okay, the first crossover I want to start with is Nanbaka. One of the best anime series I know and like. In this crossover story, Marinette is offered a summer job at a prison that she was offered by her teacher. Marinette tried telling her teacher that her family already made plans and she doesn’t want to miss any of it. But Bustier tried to pressure her to think otherwise and tell her about the Marinettes in the world and be a better example, but the board of education and inspector caught her red handed and the principal has his head down as they ask Bustier to come with them. Marinette then heads over to Nanba to see what it’d be like. She admits a bit that she still has some time on her hands since the time her family made doesn’t start until later. When she got there, she met the warden and one of the prison guards, and offered them some macarons. She then meets the rest of the guards, and one of the guards’ little brother, and the inmates of Nanba prison. She started to like Nanba after a couple of days of getting to know everyone. She is famously known as the Angel of Nanba. After summer was over, she and her friends changed schools (with her parents agreeing with lawsuits for the school with the rest of the parents) and Marinette kept in touch with her friends in Nanba. Little did she and her friends and family know that during their summer vacation, Lila was exposed by her mom, and the ones that are her sheep were in trouble and wanted Marinette back to fix everything, but her family and friends refused. And when Nanba came to visit her, Marinette introduces them to her family and friends while her former friends looked at them shocked. Adrien tried to walk to her and talk, but was stopped by the death stares from the inmates and prison guards.
It’s a free story offer for those who want to write something to beat writer’s block. You all are welcome to make it however you want it to be. Just as long it’s censored with the swears and everything.
Salts: Adrien, Kim, Max, Lila, Bustier, Damocles
Sugars: Luka, Chloe (since we know that she knows Lila is a liar), Sabrina, Zoe, Alya, Nino, Ivan, Rose, Juleka, Luka, Markov, Tom and Sabine, Gina and Roland, Marc, Nathaniel, Kagami, Nanba
2. Hetalia
The next one I want to share as an MLB crossover idea, is Hetalia. Some of you probably heard of it, while some probably but not completely, and some maybe not, for those who don’t know the series Hetalia, it is an anime series. You can watch their series in wcostream . I can’t put the link in sadly. But if you guys are wanting to watch some anime subbed or dubbed, wcostream is a web to check out. I promise you it’s a good website to find anime and some cartoons you might know as kids. Anyway, that aside, here’s the story idea of MLB and Hetalia crossover.
Tom and Sabine found a school transfer for students and Marinette thought it would be fun to try it out to get over the whole drama that is happening in College Francois Dupont. She then transfers to Hetalia Academy and then made friends with all of HA’s students over-night. Marinette became popular in Hetalia Academy two days later. She doesn’t let it all go to her head though, she’s more than that. She helped the clubs, makes baked goods for her friends, helps Matthew with his problems, she helps them with Ivan Braginsky since she’s on his good side. She even hangs out with them at school and after school. Not to mention on their DMs. She even told them about her only friends back in CFD (College Francois Dupont). So, one day, they all met and got along really well.
Until one time, Marinette and her Hetalia friends are all hanging out at the Dupain-Cheng bakery, and that was until they hear a familiar voice to Marinette. They all turned to see Marinette’s CFD friends that have bored expressions while Lila was shedding crocodile tears in Ms. Bustier’s arms. Bustier then tried to claim that Marinette is ditching school and bullying Lila even though Marinette transferred and was with her Hetalia friends the whole time.
The rest is up to you guys.
Salts: Adrien (who obviously wanted everything go according to his plans), Bustier, and Lila
Sugars: Luka, Chloe (since we know that she knows Lila is a liar), Sabrina (since we all know that Sabrina is Chloe’s ‘friend’), Zoe, Alya, Nino, Ivan, Rose, Juleka, Luka, Markov, Tom and Sabine, Gina and Roland, Marc, Nathaniel, Kagami, Hetalia
3. Ouran High School Host Club
Marinette’s parents and grandparents thought that it’s best to transfer Marinette to a new school after learning the toxicity that is happening at CFD. Marinette’s friends didn’t mind since they know how Marinette feels. When Marinette goes to Japan and her new school is a prestigious high school, she started to become popular with all boys and girls over-night. The first friend she made is Haruhi Fujioka. She already knows that Haruhi is a girl but is doing the host club to pay debt of a broken vase. When she joined her at the host club, the hosts loved Marinette. She became the first hostess in the club. She became very popular through over the weeks. Until her former school arrived as a trip that the Ouran hasn’t been informed of. But luckily Marinette’s CFD friends are with her and the host club. When the school heard about what Lila and some of her sheep did to Marinette, they started to give them the cold shoulder. They then started to treat the sheep and Lila the way they treated Marinette in the past.
When they got to the Host club, Lila tried to woo the hosts but also tried to claim that Marinette is a threat. But they ALL know what she does (thanks to more information of Kyoya) so they’re all avoiding her as if she’s the plague with legs.
The rest is up to you guys.
Salts: Adrien (who obviously wanted everything go according to his plans), Bustier, and Lila
Sugars: Luka, Chloe (since we know that she knows Lila is a liar), Sabrina (since we all know that Sabrina is Chloe’s ‘friend’), Zoe, Alya, Nino, Ivan, Rose, Juleka, Luka, Markov, Tom and Sabine, Gina and Roland, Marc, Nathaniel, Kagami, Renge, all girls and boys in Ouran, Host Club,
4. Black Butler
Marinette and her family were catering a ball one time and Marinette became friends with Elizabeth “Lizzie” Midford. And after a while, Lizzie invited Marinette to join her in London to the Phantomhive Ball that is happening next week. Marinette’s family and friends encouraged her to join in. And Marinette then accepted. Regardless of Bustier and Adrien telling her not to.
She met a lot of people in the manor. And stole a prince’s heart when she was toured around the manor. (And by Prince I mean Soma.)
Turns out that the ball was Marinette’s birthday and she believed that her family told them, and she thought, what the heck? While she’s dancing with Sebastian, he tells her that he knows that she’s Ladybug and the guardian of the Miraculous, but swore that she has his word. Marinette was relieved to know that Sebastian is a man of his word.
When she got back, Marinette hangs out with her friends and family and tells them what happened in London.
Her friends then surprised her when they came to visit her at school when she was hanging out with her friends. But while they were talking, Ms. Bustier and Adrien walk over to them, scolding Marinette about Lila even though she was at London the whole time.
The rest is up to you writers.
Got a bit too inspired from the Black Butler: Welcome to the Phantomhives.
Salts: Adrien (who obviously wanted everything go according to his plans), Bustier, and Lila
Sugars: Luka, Chloe (since we know that she knows Lila is a liar), Sabrina (since we all know that Sabrina is Chloe’s ‘friend’), Zoe, Alya, Nino, Ivan, Rose, Juleka, Luka, Markov, Tom and Sabine, Gina and Roland, Marc, Nathaniel, Kagami
5. Lupin the 3rd
Us otakus probably know this amazing series. Lupin the 3rd. The last idea for the day. It’s true what they say, save the best for last. The story title for this idea is called “Lupin’s Little Miracle”
This idea is where CFD was having a dance and Marinette and her friends got there as a group. And that is where Marinette meets Luperco Chevalier III (Lupin’s alter ego) and his friends Fiamma D’Angeli (Fujiko), Kenta Nakamura (Goemon), and Wyatt Connors (Jigen).
She, Luperco, and the rest of Luperco’s friends were enjoying themselves until an inspector came in unannounced. And Luperco offered Marinette a ride to their hotel room and she accepted and offered them her family’s pastries while on the way, and her new friends happily accepted the idea. While they were walking out of the school, Lila tried to tell the inspector, who asked them if they know Lupin, that they were dating. But the inspector scolds her and her sheep real brutally, telling them that Lupin is a thief. He was then akumatized into Terminspector (Akumatized name was my idea).
The rest is up to you
Salts: Adrien (who obviously wanted everything go according to his plans), Bustier, and Lila
Sugars: Luka, Chloe (since we know that she knows Lila is a liar), Sabrina (since we all know that Sabrina is Chloe’s ‘friend’), Zoe, Alya, Nino, Ivan, Rose, Juleka, Luka, Markov, Tom and Sabine, Gina and Roland, Marc, Nathaniel, Kagami, Nathalie (Because, eh, what the heck?)
Additional: Miraculous Holder! Fujiko, Miraculous Holder Jigen, Miraculous Holder Goemon (Running out of Miraculous ideas here), and Cat Miraculous Holder Lupin (Like I said, running out of Miraculous ideas here) Akumatized Zenigata
And that’s a wrap. I hope you guys like my MLB story ideas. They’re free to the writers who want to write stories about these ideas and try to beat their writer’s block. No need to push, the story ideas are free for all. Even for the artists, comic artists, manga artists.
Good luck!

Okay, some backstory musings for Inspector Gadget (1999).
Making this up from whole cloth because I feel like it. Also totally ignoring Matthew Broderick's actual age when he played the role.
John Brown was born and raised in rural Kansas, the younger of two boys. A late in life baby of his parents and like 10 years younger than his older brother (Penny's father).
I'm going to say his parents were old fashioned kind of religious and named their kids Matthew and John.
John absolutely idolized his big brother. Matthew was super smart and when John was 8 he went off to some law school in Ohio and became a public defender by the time he was 22. He married his college sweetheart and they were moved into their first house and had Penny really quickly.
John, just going into highschool, LOVED spending his summers in the comparatively big city with his brother and gladly babysat his niece in return.
Given that the age gap between him and Penny wasn’t much bigger than the one between him and Matthew he considered himself her defacto big brother. They were immediate best friends and Penny threw the biggest fits when John went back home every fall.
John, being not very smart but a hard worker, only got mediocre grades in highschool and had no clue what he wanted to do with his life. So instead of going to college right away he took a gap year (or two) and lived with his brother in Riverton.
He took a few part time jobs to save up money and was a little directionless. Confessed to his brother that he just wanted to help people, like he did. He knew he wasn't smart enough to be a lawyer or anything, but there had to be a lot of ways to help people in need that didn't require a degree right?
John went back to Kansas when he was 20 because his dad, who was in his 60s now, was in pretty poor health and he wanted to be there for his mother.
He enrolled in a local community college, but it didn't really work out well. A year later his father passed away and he dropped out and got a job at the local supermarket because his mother got conned into taking out a mortgage on the house to pay for her husband's medical debt and funeral costs.
His brother did not come back for the funeral. He would have but Penny, age 7, had chicken pox.
Penny comes visit Kansas during the summer during the following years.
Three years go by and John's mother passes in the middle of winter.
After a lot of discussion it's decided between Matthew and his wife that they won't take Penny with them to the funeral. She's only 10 and while she knows what death is they're overprotective.
Penny is upset because her grandmother is dead and they're leaving her alone with a sitter for a week, but they tell her that when they come back they'll have Uncle John with them and he'll be able to stay this time. This cheers her up considerably.
Their plane crashes in an ice storm on the way there.
This leaves everything in disarray. John ends up having to abandon everything in Kansas and let the house foreclose instead of trying to sell it like he planned. He rushes to Riverton instead.
He's Penny's godfather and his brother's next of kin, so at 24 he inherits the house there and Penny's guardianship.
It takes him a bit to get his feet under him. Within a year he lands the job as Security guard at Bradford Industries.
Which brings us to present day. He's been a security guard for about three years, has realized he'd love to be a cop one day but can't afford to go to the police academy because he owns a house he can barely afford on his salary and trying very hard to raise his niece, who is exactly half his age as of 1999. He's also totally smitten with his employer's daughter and has only just gotten to the point where he can kinda sorta talk to her.
And then he gets blown up by Scolex.
