i don't think you're giving enough credit anna though, because at least to me it does seem during the hiatus a lot of the people that were giving BT a chance reverted back to Buddie. It's likely because they saw the writing on the wall for BT and also they woke up from the buzz of the newness of Tommy and realized there's absolutely nothing there. So a lot of people woke up from the spell of bi buck and realized the truth during the hiatus. I would say a majority of the fandom woke up. Sure there's still the dumb die hards who are filled with people who proudly say they have not watched all the previous seasons of the show.

Oh, no, honey, I'm fully aware of that. I've been watching people pop back into my notifications, suddenly back to interacting with my buddie shit, I've been watching people who were multishiping just go back to being mostly buddie, I've been watching the interaction with bt shit reduce. I just like poking at the people who went to war for Tommy simply because he's a man and now have to deal with the fact that they took things too far. The way people were going on and on about how he's the most compelling love interest Buck has ever had after exactly one kiss because they were blinded by the "Buck is bi" high and now don't know how to backtrack or to accept the fact that Tommy is a device to make Buck bi who had no development beyond that. Poking fun at the people who were spending a fortune on an actor to manipulate what counts as canon just for him to completely ditch them and force them to the reality that the show gave them NOTHING. Watch them scramble to act as if constantly dismissing Buck and poorly timed sex jokes is somehow a good thing. I know the majority of people who are multishiping are reasonable. My thing is not against the reasonable people who ship them. Reasonable people are not out in the world screaming about how awful Eddie and Ryan are. Reasonable people are not in people's inboxes calling them names just because they didn't fall head over heels for Tommy. Reasonable people aren't digging through interviews as if interviews prove something and wearing comments from 3 years ago as some fucked up badge of honor. Reasonable people aren't harassing actors as if having actor interaction somehow makes them superior. I know the majority of people are reasonable and understand the show and just wanted to have fun with the two of them but understand it for what it is on the show now that the high has settled. My problem was never and will never be with anyone who got caught up in the excitement but were enjoying it on their own playground. My problem is with everyone who continues to try and force this narrative that paints Tommy as a lot more than he is simply because he's a man and somehow act as if Buck's bisexuality is only valid for them if he's dating a guy. The people who want to say Buck's past relationships didn't work because he was dating women. The people who keep talking shit about Eddie simply because Eddie "is in the way". The people who try to act as if the relationship is perfect and Eddie should die alone just because Buck is getting dicked down. You can ship whatever makes you happy. You can write whatever makes you happy. You can headcanon whatever makes you happy. My problem is the insistence in manipulating canon to make Tommy seem better than he was written because they took it too far with no information and can't back out of it now. That's the only part of the fandom I have an issue with. I still follow people who ship them. I just don't interact with their pro shit, they ignore my anti shit and we exist in harmony. I just don't like the idea that I have to ship them or else I'm being weird about queer relationships or I'm ignoring Buck's choices or I'm just plain homophobic or couldn't possibly understand the complexities of their relationship just because I'm a woman. And I have a window to the worst of that because I live rent free in their heads for some reason and if I didn't make fun of the situation, I would lose my mind. I know people have woken up. I have never had a problem with that part of the fandom. I only have an issue with the ones who are still going to war over nothing.

My Main Ships (in the AU)

Figure I’ll list the ships in my AU. Some of them are what the tender youth would call ““problematic.”” I see them as ‘compelling’, ‘having actual stakes,’ and having challenging conflicts beyond ‘will they love meee in this coffeeshop?’. Many of these people canon and OC have been with this AU since its inception and serve up the many themes found in it. Yes, some of them overlap as I'm team let people grow and have experiences/multiship. Nemesis/Jill The bread and butter of this AU. Full of complication as to why each proceeded with *dramatic handwave* this. A lot of unhealthy coping with their mutual and separate traumas (other than you know that whole trying to kill each other biz). Also, fun toying with that human/monster divide and how intimacy is wildly different between the other in monstrous ways. Is by far the most complicated ship. Gets very unsettlingly trippy with that 'mental connection' they have these days. Nemesis/Zeus(OC) I was apparently doing monstery brocon/twincest before it had a name (also lol myth shout out)? In seriousness, this is one of the most toxic ships in the AU because the two essentially are what happens when abuse travels down the line leading to unhealthy copes. It just happens to be between two highly dangerous monsters who both lack the concept of what family much less consent is (or even orientation; neither gets what that is, gender is 'what humans need us to be') while raised in horrible captivity, with one very out of his damn mind. Also noting that this AU doesn't deal in 'perfect' victims. Chris/Sheva A tragic pair that came to be out of Chris cheating on Jill out of loneliness and the distance Jill’s trauma caused. Things resolved where these two became an item (with Jill’s blessing even) but the vibe of Chris settling won't leave Sheva along with the torch for Jill Chris denies is there. He loves Sheva, he truly does, but that feeling for Jill is there, and Sheva, despite it all, hurts from that fact (never mind the guilt of at one time being the other woman). Ada/Carlos The spicy bi panic of two free spirits who know who they are and what they are about. Meeting up by ‘chance’ or rather by ‘plan’ as what are the odds of a spy and a guy for hire meeting up at the same places? They clearly run in similar circles but the attraction and fun of having a good time is there. Funny enough, one of my most healthiest of ships.

Shana(OC)/Jessica(OC) My too wholesome to live lesbian ship. One is a BSAA ‘green’ who after years of taking jobs under the table fighting BOW, can work on the up and up to fund her wife’s MS treatments. Aside from some of Shana’s work history (and the depths she’d go to save her wife), these two are just deeply in love with each other. Bonus round: Not as featured but part of the AU *lore* Brad/Gwen(OC) The secret between them – Brad hooking up with a too young Gwen and ending up with a love child – was what resulted in Brad living in fear of doing more wrong to her and his son, Tomas. Secretly paid money and cared for them at her request as Gwen didn’t want all their lives destroyed. Was it right? No, but this dynamic worked until someone found out using it to blackmail him into leaving Alpha Team behind at Spencer Mansion for hours. Trent(OC)/Gwen(OC) Trent and Gwen found themselves teen parents with the arrival of Tomas (he didn’t know Tomas wasn’t his). Trent was defeated by the prospect of his plans in the military being derailed and turned to drinking. He loved Gwen and Tomas but was prone to flirting when not sober. Gwen, hardworking and from the ‘wrong side the tracks’ sees herself as pragmatic and tried to manage the situation she found herself in with all the foibles of a teen that grew up too fast. Working jobs with a fake ID, she fought for her little family and cared for Trent and Gwen but held resentment to him not being reliable hence her staying out late and drunkenly hooking up with Brad. Tomas was her whole world and would crawl through hell for her son. Trent and Gwen are a hot mess that had Raccoon not happened would have probably either got their shit together or broken up. Ghandon(OC)/Tracey(OC) The put upon Nurse that actually cared for her ‘sons’ the NE-Ts: she read to them, talked to them like ‘people’, was a true ‘parent’ to them, watched as they gained more and more of a personality as the parasites learned. She had to ‘compete’ with Simon Ghandon’s attentions towards them who were not even remotely wholesome, to the point she played into the man’s delusions to gain the boys some respite. It, unfortunately, only worked for so long. Ghandon(OC)/His ‘boys’(OCs + Nemesis) Man with a God Complex + closeted + given complete control over 4 powerful BOW units. What could possibly go wrong? This is the main reason Nemesis has rage issues, control issues, lacks boundaries/has no idea of consent (other than not being human, so it’d been hard to grasp such a human-based concept anyway), and despises humans. Is one of the reasons (next to Nemesis) Zeus has really borked ideas on ‘love.’ This ship bracket is not just toxic, but hellish. Wesker/Jill Started as a side fling (not sexual but sexualized) feeding into Jill’s secret masochist tendencies (because no one was out about such things in the era of DADT and Anita Hill) that turns into a plot to manipulate her actions like with Brad and Barry. He intentionally knew the fallout would cause tension between her and Chris; then 5 happened. Oh boy did RE5 happen. Let’s just say he fucked her up mentally, emotionally and physically and continues to after his ‘death.’ Wesker is to Jill as Ghandon is to Nemesis. Wesker/Excella The Regional Director high on her own supply (and coke and wine) and the manipulative bioterrorist who plays along to get what he wants- what could possibly go wrong? Game playing was afoot, especially with her known jealousy toward the puppet, err Jill.

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?

I don't really do OTPs, but Hua Cheng and Xie Lian is the only one to ever exist in my head. Other than that, I don't really have many if any at all because fandom tends to ruin any sort of OTP for me and I just don't even bother anymore.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

Mmm, I'm pretty open to write anything but no non-con, I just don't see myself going that route after somene shoved it on me in Bleach fandom days, I'm still traumatized that shit happened. That and I find that it's a harstop for me to write stuff like that in general with the way I've mutred over the years and it's a trigger for me. Generally though, I'm happy to write pretty much anything else, but there has to be communication involved.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

I try to make my characters from 27 to damn near 50, and I have a lot of immortal muses. That being said, no one below like 27 because most of my muses are just old enough that they'd be bothered by certain age gaps. For my 27+ muses, no one below their age but upward ? Yes please. For my immortal muses, give them them 30 + always. They don't wanna feel like grave robbers. As for any muse I have below 27, i.e Edward, Shoto, Shinso, they're dating in their age bracket.

Are you selective when shipping?

Yes and no. As someone who needs active communication when it comes to shipping, I realize things don't really progress or develop if we aren't talking. And I don't mean everyday, because that's unrealistic. But if we're in the midst of shipping, I would like to hear your thoughts on the way they're developing together. I would love to share thoughts about the ins and outs of them just being in the same space. I love to ship, but empty ships with no substance fall flat and get dropped overtime because shipping is a two-way street and if one part is not putting in the work, the whole workload falls onto the other partner and that's a no go for me. In the same token, I'm happy to talk about dynamics, I'm all about what'll work and what won't work, especially in romantic ships, but familiar and friendships work out perfectly without much chatter.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

There's steamy, then there's suggestive. Steamy is them grinding against one another, dirty talk and the like. Suggestive is just them probably making eyes. Either way, I'm tagging it as is because I don't want the tumblr police in my ear.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with?

Honestly, couldn't tell you off rip. I have friends who I've been friends with for years that occupy most of my ships. It's such dynamic and rarepairs that it's hard to list them all. Its so much fun when I think about just how rarepairs, pairs I've hardly thought about can work once talked about. It's so good.

Does one have to ask to ship with you?

Absolutely. I feel like if there's some blooming chemistry for our muses, and you see it, feel free to tip yourself into my IMs or my inbox and shout in capital letters about them, I'm always happy to discuss it. Because I'm not an insta-shipper, but I love when muses develop crushes, or if there's potential for a certain dynamic and I'll never turn down anything, as long as there's adequate communication.

How often do you like to ship?

As someone who takes the time to develop ships, not as often as I used to. Mutual interest goes a long way into getting me to ship. Sometimes I'm there for shipping and I'm like hell yeah, other times I'm just eh. Depends on the why and if there's interest on both ends.

Are you multiship?

That, I am. But I don't do multiples of the same muse. I'm all for a friendships but I refuse to be ship with multiples because it's messy and my brain doesn't like to feel like someone's hoarding my muse or vice versa. Most people don't do exclusives but in my head, I do because it gives me peace of mind. That and my muses are very devoted to their person and the thought of trying with the same muse, different writer shrivels up their muse as a whole.

Are you ship obsessed or ship more-or-less?

The only thing I'm obssessed with when it comes to my ships is probably everything me, Sis and Aven come up with. Because those pairings come outta nowhere and are all the more dynamic for them. Shipping has become a rare thing for me these days because stuff tends to fall off, and I am okay with that. Developing ships is different because muses aren't one dimensional and it's fun to see them opposing one another, for them to be realistic and have conflicting feelings. Those are the things that make me want to ship rather than ' oh my god, they need to kiss', it's more ' could they agree on world destruction ? ' or ' is that thing a deal breaker ?'

What is your favorite ship in your current fandom?

Don't really belong to a single fandom tbh. Like I said, most of my pairings are rare and odd, so....

Finally, how does one ship with you?

Like I've been saying, communicate with me ! I'm not gonna bite and the worst thing I can say is no. I'm big on communicating because it goes a long way in letting me determined if there's mutual interest there and if not, we can always come back to it another time. But if not, I'm not always in a rush to jump into ships, it takes time.

Desdemona is 5’10, and has a more feminine and curvy physique, with a soft stomach, wide hips with prominent hip dips, thick thighs and broad shoulders.

His face is fairly soft, with violet eyes, usually a lot of dark eye makeup, and a button nose. He wears black lipstick. Desdemona has multiple facial piercings, specifically a septum, snake bites, dimples and a bridge piercing.

Desdemona has curly and fluffy black hair that reaches his shoulders.

His usual attire consists of a navy velvet camisole top with a bell sleeved shawl over it, and a black maxi skirt with navy and royal purple hip scarves. He wears heeled ankle boots and black tights, and silver jewellery(mostly crystal pendants and a few rosarys), a blue and white moon and star pattern headscarf, black lace gloves and half moon glasses on a chain.

Discomforts:

I am incredibly uncomfortable writing with OCs most of the time due to bad experiences in the past.

If your formatting is very extravagant I may struggle to read it and therefore may simply choose not to interact - I'm sorry. I understand people preferring certain aesthetics but if the aesthetic interferes with my ability to read something easily, I may simply pass.

Because I prefer darker and more adult-themed content, I would prefer to write with those who are 21+.

Related to above: I am severely squicked by pregnancy plots. These are a no-go for me.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

Pretty much anything, I love exploring Tesla's dynamics with all sorts of characters. He's kind of fucked up beneath his stoic/polite/sweet demeanor, so of course there's room for both domestic and darker themes. Tesla can be manipulative, obsessive/posessive and even unempathetic and selfish, so each ship is different, and I love figuring out what different characters bring out in him!

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

In character? No, Tesla is over 100 yrs old in most canon-compliant timelines that I write, and also not being human, idc abt age gaps, as long as the other muse is over 18.

Are you selective when shipping?

Yes, and no? I'm not selective in that I'll only ship w certain people/muses, but I am selective in that our muses have to click to ship. If our muses like each other, then hell yeah, lets ship. Tesla does currently have (what I assume is) one-sided feelings towards certain muses, which is also fine and fun to explore! Chemistry is more important than anything.

Here? He has no comfirmed ships, he's just sleeping with like. Two or three muses. On twitter, he's shipped with quite a few independent OCs, some bleach OCs, Grimmjow, Nnoitra, Nelliel, Harribel, Ggio... I'm more active there, though, so those ships have developed more, over long periods of time and hiatuses.

Does one have to ask to ship with you?

No, I mean if you wanna try to ship with Tesla, you're free to! Again, it all comes down to if our muses are compatible through writing together or not. I'm multiship and open to anything!

How often do you like to ship?

A lot! I love ships, romantic and platonic, because they're a perfect opportunity to explore muses interpersonally and emotionally. Even ships that are doomed from the start to break up (even though if I fall in love w the ship, I get super invested and hope they get back together) are fun to brainstorm together. I don't enjoy forcing a ship, though, even if I personally ship it. If our writing/muses don't get along, then that's how it is! Every writing pair is different.

We should be suspicious of fake fans for using actual BTs to get info. They've done it before to various extremes. Just yesterday, when checking out blogs that liked a randomly created blog that made an anti BT user post, in which they were also supposed BT/multiship supporters themselves, once again I found multiple set-up blogs poorly acting as actual bucktommy blogs. As you said, most of these blogs I looked at were recently made within 2-4 weeks at most but some were created that day, and again, they had basically 0 Tommy support from the beginning of creating for supposedly being a BT shipper and as I've seen previously I saw variations of -

Using Tommy's pic/name or saying BT/MSer in their bio, but having zero BT/Lou post or being completely dedicated to other fandoms with no 911 in sight, keeping their follows/likes public and seeing other anti users/post, or seeing their username under recent antis post. Actually reblogging from well known Bobs or having nearly all post about buddie endgame or being super pro Ryan only or truly believing in Ryliver. "pro" Tommy post that were tagged with B*mmy or T*mu. Try way too desperately to find ways to be a part or eagerly try to get info to join a group. Asking too many questions claiming to "be new" but know other 911 lore but also have no clue about "anything" because they "never" seen the show, not saying there aren't newbies like that but usually they actually claim to of have watched all the Tommy scenes lol. Want to jump into discussions with the wrong tone or unlike all of us acknowledging Tommy/Lou's faults without being weird about it and say he's 100% perfect/did nothing wrong like that's somehow appealing when we've admitted that's not true... Or make up stories about when "BTs/Lou did this..." Without evidence or any other supporter knowing about said incident. They also always use something like "I heard/saw this about xyz... is that true? What do you know about xyz? 🥸" or send nasty ask about other cast/characters/crew or blogs or accounts to try and implicate or stir drama trying to make BTs look bad.

It's honestly easy to find out who's real or fake because truthfully, they don't know how to act or tolerate or engage genuinely with Tommy, Tevan, or LFJ supporters. These frauds can't keep up the act because they can't actually pretend to like Tommy/Lou without gagging 😅 They try way too hard to fit in that it makes it obvious. They're not good spies, but general psa, just don't be giving out personal info or go inviting every rando into your business without being well established or doing your own research. They've hurt and done really harmful things to actual supporters before. Have fun, but be cautious in this fandom.
