”Pokémon GO is doing a Unova theme for their annual GO Tour event! This must be hinting at Unova remakes!” “Plushies of Reshiram and Zekrom were released or restocked or whatever it was that happened with them recently! This must be hinting at Unova remakes!” “The TCG is releasing a special set featuring all Unova Pokémon soon! This must be hinting at Unova remakes!” ahh yes I remember when we got Kanto remakes in 2021, Johto remakes in 2022, Hoenn remakes in 2023 and Sinnoh remakes in 2024 because they were hinted at by GO Tour, Johto remakes in 2024 because they were hinted at by the gold Ho-Oh and silver Lugia plushies and Kanto remakes in 2023 because they were hinted at in 151
#look I love Audino and Virizion too but can’t Game Freak just want to enjoy promoting a region’s Pokémon#without it having to mean remakes are coming soon?#(disclaimer: I’m fully aware of the fact that Audino and Virizion are not popular but they’re my favourites from Unova)#and besides if you’re so convinced that Snivy is a Z-A starter do you really think they’d do two games in a row with it as a starter?#especially given the most likely reason they gave us a better trio in PLA than the Sinnoh trio was because they were the BDSP starters#pokémon#unova#you can wait your turn until Gen 10#anyway the more I think about it the more I’m convinced now is the perfect time to revisit Johto#it doesn’t matter if you count BW2 or the SV DLC as Unova’s latest appearance (I was mainly using the former personally)#if you look at every region’s latest appearance HGSS are the oldest games there#and if we assume every gen has a Legends game from now on#(as well as DLC for the main paired version + the remake pattern continues as expected)#I don’t think there’s space in Gen 10 for a Johto revisit (ignoring DLC and Legends both of which would tell a different story anyway)#it would admittedly be cool if they were like “well 2x5=10 so let’s do Johto remakes and Unova remakes in Gen 10”#but I still think that prevents any chance of a Legends game appearing in Gen 10 bc that would mean 4 games#(counting pairs as 1 game so I guess 7 overall and that’s assuming BW2 are forgotten about)#alongside 2 DLC expansions for Gaia

I don't know if you do any other characters but, can you do Bottom N and Top Reader Smut? And can you have it being N's first time doing it? And can you have it all soft and slow at first but then make it get very fast and loud at the end. Thanks
Bottom N x Male Top Reader NSFW 18+
Given the sheltered and manipulated life that N lived prior to leaving Ghetsis and everything that happened in the Unova region, when he was crowned he initially had an arranged marriage to another girl.
He tried his earnest to put up with it, not fully understanding his feelings at all on why he wasn't attracted to her. When he still believed in the promises and glory of Team Plasma, he didn't think to consider her as part of his future plans.
That is until you, his rival, challenged and opposed him and Team Plasma's nefarious efforts.
At first initially, he thinks nothing of you. Until he talks to your Pokemon, greatly surprised by how much your leading Pokemon member loved you. He's never heard a Pokemon speak so kindly of another human except when it was about him.
That really made you stick out to him. You saw him time and time again on your Elite 4 journey and he simply couldn't stop thinking about you even though you were considered his enemy.
When Ghetsis is taken away and he leaves, flying on the back of Zekrom, for obvious reasons, all of his future plans fell apart. He didn't know what to do with himself anymore but in all of his wandering thoughts, it always led back to you.
But he doesn't return to Unova for a while. He stays lingering in the Johto region. And somehow by sheer luck and coincidence, you two run into each other.
The two of you are naturally apprehensive of each other, not knowing how the other would act. N asks what the Champion of the Unova region is doing here and you tell him simply and plainly that you're keeping an eye on him. He does a light laugh at that, trying to make a joke to lighten the situation but he fumbles it. You laugh anyways.
The two of you end up traveling the Johto region together for a while. With your experience with traveling, you basically teach N how to socialize with other humans properly. You didn't know how much this simple gesture would mean to him.
Eventually the two of you start making friends, keeping their phone numbers of skilled trainers who want to challenge you again. With your status as Champions, the gym leaders are drawn to you as well.
The two of you are invited to a social gathering with them actually. It's quite the honor to be invited to a League party. You bring N as your plus one guest.
Despite how meek and shy N was when he initially started to travel with you, he starts to feel as though he's somewhat normal. He can talk to other humans without looking down on them as his first initial reaction. When it's revealed he can talk to Pokemon, the League members get incredibly curious as to what their team says about him, making him a popular guest at the party.
As things settle down, N goes to look for you. His social battery simply isn't as good as yours and this would be the first party he's ever been invited to. He naturally seeks the comforting, secluded corner of a party and that feelings comes directly from you being next to him. But when he sees you socializing with Morty with his other guest, engaging in a conversation over the Johto legendaries... his heart sinks a bit. You look like you're having so much fun. He doesn't want to interrupt. Maybe he should just leave.
Then he feels it, a feeling he would consider ugly. He's envious that other men are talking to you. He wants you to himself. But what did this mean? Can other men be attracted to each other?. . . do you feel the same way about him?
He looks like a sad Lillipup and turns around, deciding to partake in some of the provided beverages.
When you find him again, he's a little drunk. He's never had alcohol before. You get worried because he shouldn't be drinking alone, even if it's a party but he whines as you pick him up. He's so skinny that you can carry him with ease. You bid farewell to the other gym leaders, wanting to make sure that N would be okay. So you take him back to the provided hotel room that the League provided you two with.
When he gets to the room, he sobers up, thanks to your guidance and help. You tease and warn him that he shouldn't be drinking without knowing what his tolerance level is. He looks sadly at his glass of water and you ask him what's wrong.
His voice is quiet, just above a whisper and he asks if you like him. Because he can't stop thinking about you. Every thought N has ever had about you comes spilling out, about how ever since he met you, he's just wanted to know more about you. The way you treat him so kindly is so much, so intense, but he just finds himself wanting more. When he eventually stops, he tries to leave but you silence his protests with a kiss.
His first ever kiss was yours. When you give him space to breath, he traces his lips with his fingers, feeling the lingering warmth yours gave his. He asks if you can do it again.
What started off as gentle, soft kisses only became more intense the longer you kissed him. N has never felt so hungry for another person before, he finds his hands reaching up, pressing his body against yours.
His breath hitches when he feels your hands snake around his waist, pulling you closer to him, your kisses becoming harder and more passionate.
You take the lead. You take off your clothes first. N stops to stare at your naked upper form, his hands hesitant to touch you as if you were shattered glass. You coax him into taking his clothes off. He shows a hesitant shyness before obeying, removing all of his clothes at once.
He feels so dirty in front of you. He's never been naked like this before. His cock is already leaking with pre, just thinking about you. N hides his face with his hands as he shyly mumbles he's never done this before. You stop to ask him if this is what he wants and he nods. You instruct him over the principles of a safeword, something he can say that would make you stop. He understands but can't imagine he'd need to use it, he feels safe in your presence.
You lay him down, giving him another kiss, tracking from his lips, to cheek, jawline, and then his neck. His breath hitches again and he initially squirms away from your touch, only to lean the other way to expose more of his neck.
He lets out a cry, his body shuddering as he feels your hand grope his cock. N covers his mouth with his hand as he tries to keep quiet, embarrassed over the noises he was making as you lovingly stroked his member. Whining as you give him a hickey.
You stop to give him another kiss on the lips, as you trail down, going from his lips, chest, stomach, peppering kisses all the way down until you meet his cock. He lets out a large gasp when he feels you lips press against the tip of his cock and lets out a whorish moan when he feels your tongue trace circles.
N has never felt so undignified before but it feels just so good. You're doing everything right. He wants you to keep going, to keep touching him. When your jaw relaxes and you take his length into your mouth, he can't stop himself from bucking his hips as he squirmed, surprising you. He immediately apologizes, but he can literally feel your smile as you start sucking his cock. He lets out shaky breaths as he lays back down, his hands clutching the bed sheets underneath him.
It's obvious he's never done this before, but even masturbation was sacrilegious to him. If he only knew sooner that he could feel this good, he would have confessed his feelings to you sooner.
He's getting close, you can tell with how his knees bend and his whines change, begging you to keep going. You wrap your arms around his legs, pressing your face closer to his crotch before you deep throat him. His body is squirming under your touch, he's falling apart and it's everything he wants and more.
It doesn't take him long to cum after that, his semen shooting into your mouth. His eyes open wide and he apologizing as he cums, before his body weight sinks back down into the bed.
You look at him, very pleased with his lust drunk expression. His pale complexion turned red as he stares at you with big begging eyes.

Litwick History
Modern Litwick were first documented in the 1500s regions like Paldea, Unova, and Galar. At this time, their appearance was what we know of as today, but researchers show that Litwick goes a wee bit deeper than that.
While it's hard to pinpoint exactly where Litwick came from currently, they are distant relatives of the Ghastly line, with both of them being gasses that have ended up taking a solid form. Litwick's earliest known relative appeared to be a pokemon resembling a purple-bluish flame. While information on them is limited, researchers theorize that they hunted by luring prey away with their flames. This could also be the explanation for Will-ó-the-wisps, who were said to do the exact same thing. Their appearance stayed like this for a lot of history since it was a very good strategy for hunting. But, as the future will show us, it wasn't good enough.
In the 1500s, Litwick started to take on the appearance of candles, most likely so they could blend in with humans agriculture and help lure their victims away better. It worked, with many more people disappearing because of Litwick's trickery.
It wasn't until the 1930s, when the fear of ghost types started to die down a bit. Scientists were able to research Litwick and its line a lot better, learning the proper ways to care for one and how to avoid having your life force sucked out. Litwick breeding also became popular around this time, creating many variants of litwick. By this time as well, many people started using them more in pokemon leagues, boosting their ever-growing popularity. Now, much of the Litwick fear has died down and they're currently very popular ghost/fire types.

“Then, why don't you claim your own skies?”
The words ring in his head that morning of the ceremony. Thinking on this was unusual, really— the Drayster never mulled over things for long. In the days leading up however, Drayton couldn't help being reminded of the words said to him by that guy many months ago.
— —
Cyrano introduced him as a gym leader of the Galar region, visiting Blueberry Academy to train for a while in the Terarium.
“Yo, name's Raihan. Heard you're a dragon trainer too— care for a battle?”
A fellow dragon specialist, and Duraludon trainer too. They clicked instantly; having so much in common and being so similar in personality, it made League Club members do a double take. It wasn't before long that Drayton spent most of his class-skipping days hanging with Raihan in the Terarium during those few weeks.
They battled, they trained, and sometimes they just chatted over grub. Most of the time it was light-hearted: trading tips on dragon training, or stories of the strong trainers they've encountered. Other times, Raihan ranted off about the online beef he had with that Iono chick
(“The streamer girl? Yeah, we've met; she was invited here from Paldea last year. Girl's a whacky cuckoolander.” “Ugh, got that straight.”)
or jived Drayton about his League Club juniors.
(“Your girl Lacey is real cute.” “Yeah, that's her thing. Don't you think about trying anything though; her old man's Clay.” “The cowboy man? Damn.”)
It was only when the topic of rivals drifted along the daily conversation mill that vibes turned dour. A topic that Drayton avoided taking too seriously. There were feelings that never left him, never spoken aloud at Blueberry Academy. He wanted to keep it away, leave it on the shores of Unova miles from his small ocean sanctuary.
But Raihan never disparaged it. To Drayton's surprise, the other dragon tamer even had his own struggles to share, despite already reaching the status of 8th gym leader. He candidly described the child prodigy in his home region— the undefeated champion ever so popular and praised in the public eye.
It was a story Drayton knew all too well; he could recognize it in the undertone of Raihan's voice as he hit note for note the same emotions Drayton had felt too. So for the very first time since stepping foot upon Blueberry Academy, Drayton shared his own story— of his family, of the Opelucid Gym, of the Unova Champion.
Leon. Drayden. Iris.
These were the names that, although both Raihan and Drayton had much respect for them as pokemon trainers, never really made their smiles reach their eyes. The brighter big lights shine, the larger the shadows are cast behind them they say. Drayton's never found peace in that darkness, but it did make him feel better finding a kindred spirit in Raihan.
That is, until Raihan dropped the most mind-blowing take the Drayster's ever heard.
“It’s the same for you innit?— with Iris, I mean. There's always that someone you can't reach up to no matter how much you give your all— the ultimate rival. 'cept don't you think it could be that way 'cause you're playing the game with different rules?”
“Huh?”
“Leon was the strongest because his Pokemon are strong. Even if he's in a tight spot, he'd always manage to eek out a win because of that insane raw power of his pokemon. Battle instincts just come naturally to him y'know? But if you ask the man about how he uses his pokemon's abilities or setting up his next move? My mate gets lost quicker than Sonia can put a tracker on him, haha!”
“The Pokemon League's standard for single battles is great and all, but doubles is a whole different ball game. Singles is all about strength and endurance; double battles actually uses tactics. Just because a trainer is good at raising Pokemon to be strong doesn't always mean they'll be good at strategy. Honestly, it’s amazing how Leon stayed at the top for a decade 'til the new champ beat him.”
No matter how good Drayton was as Blueberry League Champion, at a school specialized in double battles, beating Iris was always a separate issue. The battle skills he was taught as a child, from his training by his grandfather at Opelucid Gym was all he had ever known when battling her. But truth be told, it never even occurred to him to level the playing field. It never occurred to him to think that he could.
“That's why I choose doubles in my gym. There are different ways to be strong as a trainer, it's just a matter of finding your own. 'sides, this school already specializes in double battles, why not put that to your advantage?”
Challenging Iris in a double battle… might just be the craziest idea Drayton has ever considered.
“The skies are big enough for all of us to fly— you just have to claim your territory, mate.”
— —
“Drayton, there you are!” Lacey's voice snaps him out of his reverie.
They've just finished the graduation ceremony. Long and arduous, the graduating students all decked out in Blueberry's cap and gown stood in the Terarium's Central Plaza waiting to be called up one by one to recieve a fancy sealed up paper. After the final speeches were said, cheers shouted and caps tossed, it was finally time for students to freely mill about in the celebratory energy.
“Yo. Congratulations, Miss Valedictorian.”
“Oh please, not you too. Crispin and the other League Club members have already said enough.” She pauses, lightly laughs as she approaches him. “And besides, I came here to congratulate you! Congratulations on graduating, Drayton.”
“Thanks, been a long time coming.”
“Yes… To be honest, I'm kinda surprised you made it this year…”
“Heh heh, aren't we all?” He took no offense to that, really. “Guess I just got my muse back this time 'round.”
Indeed, Drayton's change of pace didn't go unnoticed by the rest of the BB Elite Four. Perhaps it was the influence of the whole Kieran drama last year… or after that had cleared up, the subsequent sister school exchange event where the top BB League Club members got invited to Paldea to participate in a team competition. Lacey certainly noticed Drayton went back to skipping class when the Galarian gym leader was here, but at least he was motivated somewhat regularly after.
“I see… well I'm glad to hear that, Drayton. What are you planning to do after graduation?”
“Who knows… but I might have something in mind…”
“Something?”
“Don't worry about it.” He waves it off and ushers her ahead. “C'mon, lets take some photos with the club. It'll be our last ones here afterall.”
.
.
.
“By the way Drayster— if you ever find yourself in Galar, feel free to drop by Hammerlocke Stadium any time. We'll be happy to have ya.”

randomly thinking about pikachu's popularity as a mascot but also like in-universe imagining how many little kids would see ash and pikachu win the world championships and decide that they simply Must have a pikachu. you could take this from the angle of like, ash's championship win indirectly dramatically changes the viridian forest ecosystem and other pikachu habitats, but also, imagine how many young trainers + pikachu partners ash starts encountering on his journeys after that who are all clearly awestruck by him. i like to think he would be like "huh weird we've been battling a lot of pikachu lately" and not make the connection that this is His Impact
i'm OBSESSED with this concept and if i had more time/energy i would have immediately written a fic when you sent this because it's so funny to me but alas :p but i'm seeing this with like...all of the above implications like
ash visiting home sometime down the road and crossing paths with gary or tracey maybe, who is/are currently trying to figure out why there's a sudden influx of rattata in the viridian forest area. ash might even help them investigate a bit, you know, 'cause he's helpful like that. he doesn't get the implications. he hears "pikachu and rattata don't tend to make their homes in the same areas" and thinks the reason rattata are popping up suddenly is just that they've gotten over some territorial difference. "i mean obviously there are still pikachu in the forest - we just fought like three of them!"
so he leaves his friends at the oak laboratory absolutely flabbergasted and moves on. he keeps seeing trainers with pikachu, which is great. they ask for a battle and he obliges and it never even registers to him the starstruck look in those trainers' eyes has anything to do with him. he's just like, yeah my buddy's great, isn't he? your pikachu's great too! keep training! :)
when he hears from misty about all these new gym challengers with pikachu, he doesn't think too much about it. i mean, come on, it's a water-type gym. of course they're gonna bring an electric type. when he hears from brock that his brother said the same thing is happening in pewter city, well, that's just new trainers trying to think outside the box. forrest is probably exaggerating a bit anyway, maybe he's just embarrassed that his rock types got beaten by a pikachu? there are simply no dots to connect
of course, this isn't only happening in kanto, though. he hears from cilan about seeing more pikachu than usual in unova, a concerning trend considering pikachu aren't exactly native to the region. ash figures it's just more visitors from outside regions, like he was. it's so cool to see more people embracing inter-region travel! that's probably the one thing he does know he motivated others to do - i mean, surely being the kanto-native champion of alola would inspire a few trainers out there to tackle far-off leagues of their own? he inspired his friends to do it, so it's only fair that trainers who caught his big championship win on tv might have felt similarly!
except he's got the whole thing wrong, of course. one of his more research-oriented friends (i'm betting sophocles) has absolutely been crunching numbers and can 100% confirm that new trainers taking on the league challenge in most regions are about 20457x more likely to have a pikachu in their active roster this year than any year before. ash doesn't have a response to that one, because he's simply too baffled by the metrics of this study to digest the implications of it. he's really hung up on the idea that somehow sophocles met all these people as opposed to acknowledging the more likely scenario that he hacked into the league's database, because how would he even do that? ash isn't thinking about ethics or anything. he's just wondering how he can meet all these trainers too because he'd really like to battle them all, wow!
so basically, everyone else has figured it out...except for ash. he keeps getting approached by strangers asking him about training methods specific to pikachu, which he has no answer for other than "uhh rubber gloves don't really work i guess?" (and then ofc he'd say something very Ash about how no matter what kind of pokemon you're training you just have to believe in them etc etc) because the thing all those people don't realize is he never set out to train a pikachu in the first place. arguably, his pikachu trained him. and that pikachu? absolutely knows what's going on, and finds it hilarious. but he won't tell ash. he's having fun meeting all these different pikachu, anyway :p
#answered#ash ketchum#pokemon#anipoke#i maintain ash is NOT stupid. hes just so accustomed to being Some Kid that he cannot adjust to the idea that he has Celebrity Impact#and dont give pikachu too much credit...he only figured it out because he overheard some of ash's friends talking about it#on the other hand thinking about pikachu's popularity as a mascot#and how much pikachu plush sales mustve increased after ash won the championships...or just toys and such in general#how often he probably sees them out in the wild or gets asked to sign things - THAT might be the thing that makes him realize#and then he'd be stumped because how can he explain that he and pikachu won not because pikachu is a pikachu but because hes HIS pikachu?#his bestest buddy forever etc. i actually think on a more serious note he might have a tough time grappling with that#since we know from his interactions with certain rivals he doesnt believe that evs and ivs matter. but thats a whole other post hehe

Eeveelution Squad Journeys (My ES AU)
Hello everyone. If you saw on my introduction post I mentioned having an ES AU called Eeveelution Squad Journeys and I'd like to talk about it here. Hope you guys enjoy my first ever post about it here on Tumblr since I've talked about it before on other sites like reddit and Discord.
History I feel like before I explain what my AU is I need explain how it came to be so here's the backstory!
Way back in 2021, I was first introduced to the Eeveelution Squad comic from the dub and then found the actual comic and began reading it myself for the first time. While I was reading it a lot of stuff bothered me like Speed being stupidly overpowered, complex lore that I could not process, shipping moments being shoved down my throat every 3 pages, and more. I kept up with the comic till it ended and I was sad as I saw the comic could've had potential specifically with the characters but it didn't do anything with most of them.
After the comic ended I began thinking how I would write ES while fixing a lot of the problems I had with it. I dug through EV's account and found that ES was originally supposed to be about the cast as a Rescue team instead of living together. Around this time I was watching the Pokemon anime and while watching it I thought what if Eeveelution Squad was like the Pokemon anime. What if they were an actual squad, an actual team that would actually bond with each other by going on adventures like in the anime. It was at that moment that my AU was born. After developing it for a bit and sharing this AU idea with some people in the ES Discord Server (Now known as Astral Treehouse) with it receiving positive feedback, I would continue developing it for myself as it was fun developing and for what ES could've been with its missed potential. I decided to name the AU "Eeveelution Squad Journeys" after a friend suggested in the name in the Discord Server.
Premise So this AU is basically what if the Eeveelution Squad were a competitive battling team in a humanless mainline Pokemon world where they would take on the regional leagues and go on adventures as they bond and strive to become the greatest team ever.
The AU takes the series in a more action/Shounen approach rather than the Slice of Life or whatever the hell the Vacation Arc was trying to be. It takes inspiration from some animes I've watched like Pokemon and Fairy Tail.
While making the AU I have these goals in mind for it:
Have the characters be used to their fullest potential. A lot of ES' characters either had very little or nothing at all and after scrounging through the comic and certain journals I knew they had so much potential and I want to use them to their fullest.
Make the main cast actually bond. To me, the main cast in the comic had no real bond, they didn't feel like a squad, or family, or roommates. Also the title does not fit the comic with its story or genre. I want the main cast for my AU to actually feel like a team and make the "Eeveelution Squad" in the title actually make sense.
Don't make the AU stupidly edgy or confusing. Pretty simple with this goal.
Don't prioritize romance. Characters with their development and building bonds comes first.
Don't let anyone influence my AU. I'll listen to feedback and criticisms but I will not listen to someone who tries to change my AU into something that's unrecognizable. Toxic fans and shippers can go away if my AU isn't for them.
AU Changes
The World ES Journeys takes place in a humanless mainline Pokemon world where competitive battling is the most popular sport in it. The world has the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar regions only so no Paldea as well as some anime locations like the Orange islands. Rescuers are still a thing in this AU but they're part of the police. Because this AU has a more modern setting, there's no such thing as Wild Pokemon. Technology in this world is not as stupidly advanced as the comic so no Iron Man suits or other junk like that (I hated ES' technology), only modern technology like computers and stuff we have today.
The Lore ES Journeys does not focus on the Timeline Lore or Berserker Virus Lore because they do not exist. These two things should not have been in the comic but did because one comment said ES was boring which made EV add them. 90% of people either do not understand it or don't care about it. The only lore in this AU is backstory on characters.
The Cast While ES Journeys does have all 9 main characters (10 counting Axel) they're not going to be together right at the beginning. The reason I made this decision is because giving focus to that many characters right at the start of the story would be difficult to pull off. I want each character to get focused on without another one hogging it up like how Speed, Flare, Lazuli, and Silvia did in the comic. With the cast starting off small, focus can be put on them and when the characters join the main cast over time, focus moves on to them. The cast starts off with just Speed, Crystal, Flare, and Sunshine but when the group are in a region where the other main characters are they join them like how Ash gets new traveling companions when he arrives at a new region. So... yeah. That's Eeveelution Squad Journeys with what is had and how it came to be. Does this sound interesting or is this a stupid AU idea? I might make posts on my AU about the characters or story in the future. If y'all have any questions about the AU, feel free to send me an ask and I'd be happy to answer. What pokemon would your favorites of the mob psycho cast have, in your opinion?
anon I hope you're alright with how long this answers going to get because I sat down and went:
because I LOVE assigning pokemon to characters
We all know Mob and Espurr are pretty much made for each other but I'm putting a read-more because this answer is embarassingly long
I deleted it earlier because I wasn’t sure if it was the correct idiom, but my friend warns that you've "opened a can of worms" here
A little context/worldbuilding before I get into the lists:
These answers are in the context of a Pokemon/MP100 crossover in which Seasoning City is an existing city in new region, or is expanded into its own region entirely. Other countries are not brought up that often in MP100 so those could be replaced with existing Pokemon regions instead. (I think only America is mentioned, which could be replaced with Unova)
(this is as opposed to, an isekai AU, or if you decided the characters are from Kanto or something)
I won't be creating Seasoning's pokedex by any means, but this means I won't be limiting Pokemon geographically (like I assigned TSV characters with mostly Unovan Pokemon because they're from New York)
There's still the exception of the type of environment/region being very significant to that Pokemon (aka some regionals, legends/mythicals, endangered, etc))
Regarding Psychics/Espers
Psychics or Espers already exist in the Pokemon world, but the actual differences between them and Psychic-type pokemon is not widely explored, nor the fact there are non-psychic types that can technically use psychic-type moves, or abilities associated with psychics (telekinesis, telepathy, whatever it is empaths got going on, clairvoyance, etc)
There's also an unexplored difference between ghost-types and ghosts
but the point I want to make here is that I don't think psychic pokemon are absolutely necessary for an exorcism business like Spirits & Such, especially when psychic-types are weak to ghost-types in the Pokemon world, and MP100 espers usually have a natural shield against, like, possessions specifically
So we're going with Psychics/Espers being able to be exorcists, mediums, etc, with their wide variety of psychic abilities at their disposal compared to specific Pokemon with specific skillsets.
There's also more apparent leniency with the fact that Psychics post-gen III use both psychic-type and ghost-type pokemon on their teams, and you can debatably include hex maniacs and channelers as psychics or espers to a degree
A human Esper could possibly perform exorcisms themself or with the aid of a psychic, ghost, maybe even fairy pokemon, or pokemon with those moves
This means that I'm wont be assigning MP100 espers with psychic pokemon just because they're both psychic, but I acknowledge they'd likely be drawn to each other eventually, and it's up to the character if they'd interact with ghost types
There's also if the city/regions's general consensus on ghosts is similar enough to MP100 originally, which mean they're not as normal to see around as other regions for one reason or another
Personal Preferences / Headcanons
It's Very fun to match Pokemon to a character in how similar they are but other times I also like to try avoiding literal matches like that, or ones that are too on the nose
(what pokemon a character would be could be very different to what they would have!)
Often times I don't use the more popular pokemon either (like eeveelutions, sorry) unless it feels like that pokemon really works out for the character
It gives Pokemon ppl might not have thought of nor remembered a chance to shine
I also imagine if a character doesn't seem the type for competitive battling, they wouldn't have a 6-pokemon team, unless maybe they're the type for appearing strong, or under specific circumstances. Like petsitting or gifting. NPCs often have 1-3 pokemon if they're not strong league trainers. People with more would probably have lower maintenance pokemon
What pokemon could they have in their daily lives? What are they willing to take care of? If they do stumble upon a very specific Pokemon, how do I imagine they meet and how this influences their character? (for situations like this MP100 scenario, I like to impact the main storyline or characterization as little as possible if I'm not doing some in-depth canon-divergence or post-canon stories)
anyway
"What pokemon would your favorites of the mob psycho cast have, in your opinion?"
These answers may be tossed around or changed in the future but
Reigen
Lurantis I deleted the post saying why, but trust me on this Helps with the everyday life. Got terrified when it was a Fomantis thinking it was a bug-type but turns out they're both scared of bugs
Nacli whether he found it by accident or actively sought it, he kept it thinking it'd help w the business (it... kinda does? but not really)
Greavard (temporarily) (a la Uu-chan)
Nickit, maybe I prefer this as a pokemon he could be instead of have; it's very on-the-nose so I'm fine either or
I specifically imagine that in this world, like in canon, Reigen didn't know that espers were real, or didn't take them too seriously, especially when Pokemon could be doing all the stuff on TV
Serizawa
Hatterene (temporarily) "gifted" by Toichiro, but returns to Toichiro after Serizawa's fight with Mob (you know why)
Wimpod been with him since his years in isolation, evolves during World Domination Arc (you know why)
After Hatterene is gone, he probably only has Golisopod with him during the adjustment period with S&S but I do think he might take in another Pokemon by the time of the spin-off
(Swadloon -> Leavanny evolution via friendship is very reminiscent to Seri's character development and fight with Mob but idk if it's too much for two Pokemon to evolve back-to-back for him. It could also be what he takes in later on instead. )
Tome
Hoothoot I have my reasons
Elgyem her first encounter with the extraterrestrial, sparking her drive to know more about aliens and alien pokemon
looks up stuff like Deoxys and Ultra Beasts stuffs
Mob
Espurr evolves after confession arc?
Poliwag, maybe someone helps him evolve to Politoed over the course of the series?
okay I referenced Espurr multiple times so this might be redundant at this point, but I don't actually imagine him with more than maybe two pokemon? He's a middle schooler who might not be up for the responsibility of multiple pokemon, especially with the stress of his own and Espurr's explosions. Maybe he tries training more later in the same way he tried the marathon?
I just looked up the Poliwag line and I love that the lines' shinies do not look that different to the original but shiny Politoed has Mob's aura colours lol
He's not part of the cast but
Yoshioka
Herdier, or Watchog
yeah that's it
and they're not my favourites but some others I thought about:
Teru would have a full team, probably half left by his parents, which match his initial personality. He wouldn't be that close to them, but they're strong or rare and that's what's important until he's humbled later and actually learns to talk to them as companions He might not keep all the Pokemon by the end because he doesn't need to keep a reputation like that anymore, but has a select few strong ones that are strong because he actually trained together with them ^ the pokemon he'd have would still be very extravagent/gaudy in appearance though, like a Bruxish
Shou, and maybe Toichirou, may have Pokemon specifically from Unova or other farther regions because of Toichiro's travelling ^ Toichiro returning to Seasoning City is very Giovanni revealing to be the absent gym leader to me ^^Shou and Toichirou's teams could be styled in opposition to each other like Ghetsis and N. Shou spent so long preparing to be the protagonist against his father's plans, so
I firmly believe that Mob and Ritsu's parents would still be blasé about Pokemon like everything else that if either brother did come home with a legendary, they'd still be like "just make sure to clean after it. no battling in the kitchen"
it's not Reigen's, but there's a Fidough in the cafe above the office that he adores
Organizations like Claw, or the Rising Sun Spiritual Union would definitely employ a lot of psychic- and ghost-types for their needs
Dimple is either exactly the same, or the ugliest Gastly you've ever seen. I'd love to make a reference to the LOL cult and Yamask, but a fart cloud is a fart cloud
.
I have more but this list is too long so ppl can send another ask if they're curious about anything
final words: typing this was a nightmare because of how often I mistyped 'region' and 'reigen'
#talk to me tag#Anonymous#mp100#pokemon#headcanon tag#I never use that tag#mpkmn100 au#new tag just dropped

During the third Unova Regional championships, a competitive battling scene that was the precursor to the modern Battle Subway, a pikachu named Chester managed to sweep the competition using a new strategy: electro ball. Pikachu is something of a speedy sweeper with the added bonus of its ability, Static, slowing down any pokemon that would take it down and hindering their movements. In terms of body fat, there's an ideal ratio for a competitive pokemon, with defenders being heavier during battling season and attackers being lighter.
Chester was unique because he'd been bred specifically to be lighter with a long tail that enabled him to be bipedal longer, and he used a primarily Electro Ball strategy with a speed boosting item and Agility on his moveset that enabled him to oneshot any pokemon that wasn't a ground type.
It's worth noting that Chester's attack was much lower than the standard for his species, partially because he wasn't holding a light ball, partially because he simply lacked the fat to burn that would give him the power he needed. But he compensated for it with such blinding speed that his opponents were crumbling before him, and the idea of speed based strategies became far more popular.
Hence, people started experimenting with pokemon who were lighter weight. Emolga was a prime choice at the time, and the competitive scene became more intense, with tournaments held more often.
Breeders were scrambling to keep up with the demand, and this is where the cheese comes in. Moomoo milk is highly nutritious and prized for this reason, but the milkfat was an issue, as it didn't fit the ratios that breeders were using to achieve the ideal speed-based mon. So, skim milk became popular! But they had to do something with that milkfat to prevent food waste, and so a group of Kalosian immigrants stepped up and founded what is now known as Five Star Foods. They started cultivating cheeses and coming up with new recipes to make it part of Unovan foods, and it became a wide success!
#pokemon#unreality#i had a lot of fun with this one! used an old comics pallete and some overlay textures to make it look like an old newspaper ad#anyways this is my theory on why skinny pikachu are like that#fat pikachu are great for volt tackle strats

Casting Pearls Before Time - Ch 5
Six months after suddenly reappearing, Ingo encounters someone he thinks he remembers. Only problem is, he can't remember anything before he returned to Unova, so it's hard to say
Word Count: 2200
"Emmet, that's impossible," Ingo breathed incredulously.
"Ingo, think about it," Emmet retorted, "the dead language. You keep calling it Hisui, a name that hasn't been used in a century and a half. Those styles of move you mentioned. I looked them up, they were most popular in the 1800s and forgotten by 1900. Clay's family would have been in Sinnoh around then and he said his great-great-however-many-greats grandfather had that hat."
"But how would I have gotten there? And how would I have gotten back? Time travel is not as simple as riding the subway! And what about Pearl? How did she get here?"
"That I don't know, but I think this is right, Ingo."
Ingo hissed out his teeth, cradling his forehead in his hands. "This can't be right…"
"Ingo, you have Gliscor's ball, yes?"
Ingo looked up at him. "Of course."
"Let me see it."
Defeated, Ingo stood and walked to his bag, grabbing out a pokeball and returning, popping it into Emmet’s hand. Pearl came over to the couch to see what all the commotion was about.
It was an odd pokeball, Emmet had always thought. One of the two things Ingo had returned with, other than the odd tunic thing he had worn. It had a metal latch and was carved from wood, with a pipe on the top that puffed smoke sometimes.
Emmet opened a fourth tab and typed 'when were pokeballs invented' into the search bar.
It showed a picture of a pokeball that was identical to the one Emmet now held, right down to the red painted top. The description read: [the original pokeball was designed by Professor Reuben Laventon, a pokemon Professor from Galar, on his first visit to ancient Sinnoh in 1835. It let out fireworks and a puff of smoke when a pokemon was caught and could be hand-carved from Apricorns. This design was built upon and improved with the invention of new materials during the 20th century until it evolved into the pokeball we know today.]
Emmet scrolled past the photo of the pokeball after he was sure Ingo had read it all, revealing a sepia photo of a man in a lab coat and a knitted cap with a white ball on the top. He was smiling for the camera, a Cyndaquil, Oshawott, and Rowlet all surrounding him.
Ingo’s eyes widened. "I-I remember him. Professor Laventon. I remember talking to him because he was the only other one who could speak Galarian. He- he taught me Sinnohan." Ingo rubbed his temples.
"Laventon died in 1888," Emmet read. "There would have been no physical way for you to meet him in our time period."
Pearl was looking at the photo of Laventon as he spoke to Ingo. She narrowed her eyes at the photo and looked up at them, giving a soft, "Laventon."
Emmet whipped his head to her. He pointed at the photo again.
She nodded and said again, more strongly, "Laventon. Friend."
So she knew Laventon too. Perhaps his wiki page would say something?
Emmet looked up Laventon and tapped on the article, skipping to the 'Hisui Discoveries' tab, which he read aloud.
"Laventon was in Hisui for many years after he traveled from Galar. Originally, he was brought in as backup for some anomalies spotted across the region." Emmet knitted his brows at that, but kept reading. "He invented the first pokeballs and worked with the immigrants in the Galaxy Team to create the first complete pokedex in the world. He was known to work with the two native groups, the Diamond and Pearl Clans, to create some of the first maps of the region as well."
"Wait," Ingo quipped, interrupting Emmet. "Go back. What were the names of the two Clans?"
"Diamond and Pearl."
Ingo's eyebrows knitted. "The Pearl Clan… that sounds familiar, though I cannot say why."
Emmet tapped on the linked article for the Pearl Clan. "The Pearl Clan was one of two groups of native peoples that populated ancient Sinnoh for generations. Though much of their history is lost to time, it seems they were constantly at war with the other Clan, the Diamond Clan.
"Basic Clan structure was a Leader, a medic, five Wardens, and the rest were simple members of the Clan. Everyone helped forage and farm for food and it was a very tight-knit community. The Pearl Clan lived high in the snowy mountains in Hisui, and thus had much thicker fur tunics and sturdier huts for blocking out the wind.
"Wardens were members of the Clan that were chosen by special pokemon that the Clan worshiped as a descendant of their god. These pokemon were known as Nobles-"
"Nobles," Ingo breathed. "I- that feels important. What does it say about them?"
Emmet rolled his eyes at being interrupted as he tapped on yet another article. "Noble Pokemon were a special class of pokemon in ancient Sinnoh worshiped for being descendants of pokemon blessed by the natives' respective gods. There were ten of these pokemon in total, some of which were special regional variants only found in Hisui that are now extinct, or extinct evolutions altogether.
Arcanine
Avalugg
Basculegion
Braviary
Electrode
Kleavor
Lilligant
Sneasler
Ursaluna
Wyrdeer"
Emmet looked at his brother. "Do any of those sound familiar?"
Ingo glanced at the screen and scanned the list. He tapped on the article for Sneasler.
It pulled up a photo of a weird pokemon. It was purple and lilac in color, with huge purple claws and a red ribbon on the left ear.
"Sneasler, one of two Noble Pokemon around Mount Coronet, was a now-extinct evolution of the coveted Hisuian Sneasel. It is said that most Sneasel hatched in Hisui would become this other Sneasel variety - said to be fighting/poison type. The famed Professor Laventon once commented that the Noble was very amicable and had a fondness for beans that grew on the mountainside," Emmet read.
"Sneasler…" Ingo was murmuring to himself. "I can remember her, but why…"
Emmet kept reading. "Noble Sneasler’s past Wardens are remembered from their graves and their legacies in their devotion to the Noble. As with other Nobles, the Wardens are typically buried with their Noble to continue to serve them in death. However, there is a peculiarity with Sneasler's Warden chain in particular."
He scrunched his eyebrows a bit as he scrolled down to a section titled "the Mystery of the Lost Warden".
"All Nobles have a meticulously recorded line of Wardens - except Sneasler. All past Wardens can be found buried at the Noble's seats, but there is a gap for Sneasler's. Where there should be another body, there is an unmarked grave with no body within, as though the individual did not die. In addition, there is documentation of a Warden in active duty after the previous one has been found buried. Many accounts simply refer to him as 'the foreigner' or 'the faller', but one account from a Leader mentions him by name as Warden Ingo, with a photo accompanying it."
Emmet stopped reading and stared at the photo. His mouth fell open. It was sepia, as the other photos from this time period seemed to be, crinkled and out of focus. In the photo was the Noble Sneasler, pointing to the camera with one clawed paw, the other paw to her head, as though she were holding a cap, her eyes looking down at the dark figure in front of her, smirking. The other figure was mirroring her pose, pointing at the camera with his right hand, tipping his cap with his left, a haunted look in his all-too-familiar silver eyes, his tattered coat and hat almost indistinguishable because of the quality of the photo…
"That's me," Ingo breathed. "That's me… I… I remember taking this photo." Ingo took the phone and enlarged the photo until it took up the whole screen. "That's… that's my Lady Sneasler. She wanted to take the photo with me so badly, she snuck into Jubilife Village to get it." His mouth was moving a mile a minute, babbling as some memories came back. "I told her it was a bad idea, but she picked me up and ran in anyway. Pokemon were not allowed in the village. She ran into the photo booth and scared the poor chap in there until I said she just wanted a photo and he obliged." Tears were running down his face now, his eyes unfocused and misty. "We took that photo and several more together, but that was the only one I kept. It was on my person, in my tent. I remember giving it to… someone. I don't remember why. Or who. Who did I give it to? How did it get on this website?" Emmet went to grab his phone back as Ingo slammed his fists into the coffee table, making Pearl jump out of her skin. "Why can I only remember tidbits…"
Emmet left his phone open on the table as he reached around his brother and rubbed his back. He was sobbing hard. It had been some time since he'd gotten like this. "It's not your fault, Ingo. We've learned so much more since yesterday."
Ingo slowly nodded and sat up, wiping his face and regaining his composure. He nodded. "I'm alright now. I'm alright." He looked up at Emmet and then passed him, at Pearl. His brows knitted and he asked her a question in Sinnohan.
Emmet turned his head to see her face white as a sheet. He peeked around the phone to get a look at the screen.
In his shock, he had not scrolled through the photos. The next photo after the one of Ingo and Sneasler was one of Ingo and Sneasler and five more people and four more pokemon. It was sepia once again. A huge odd Avalugg took up the entire background. A man with a weird hair thing on his chest stood next to it, smirking. Next to him was a woman with goggles, her hand laying on a weird… it was almost like an Arcanine, but way too dark. Then was Ingo and Sneasler. On the other side of the photo was a young boy wearing a familiar hat with some bug type Emmet had never seen before in his life. Then there was a small old woman with a bear pokemon behind her. And in the middle of the picture stood a familiar female figure, smiling…
Emmet tapped on the description and read it aloud. "Pictured left to right, the last Wardens of the Nobles of the Pearl Clan. Lian, Warden of Lord Kleavor. Calaba, Warden of Lord Ursaluna. Ingo, Warden of Lady Sneasler. Irida, Leader of the Pearl Clan. Palina, Warden of Lord Arcanine. Gaeric, Warden of Lord Avalugg."
Pearl was staring hard at the phone, tears welling in her eyes. Emmet passed her the phone, blowing up the picture so that it covered the whole screen. She gently touched the faces of the people on the screen, her lip wobbling.
The twins were silent. Ingo looked grimly at her from the other side of Emmet as her tears slipped, one by one, and fell to her hands.
He stood and came to her other side. She looked up at him, her eyes puffy. "Ingo?" Her voice was wobbly.
Ingo sniffled, his own eyes teary. "Hello, Lady Irida."
—---------
Needless to say, they all had a late night. Ingo translated much of the article to Pe- Irida, Emmet reminded himself. Her name was Irida. They spoke together in rapid sentences, so fast Emmet was half-convinced they weren’t even words. Emmet scrolled through the phone, trying to glean more information, but nothing could sink in right now. Ingo got up and ran to his room, returning with the tunic he had worn upon his return. Irida stared at it, running her hands down the strange fabric. She said some things that Ingo responded to solemnly.
Emmet was finally beginning to get over the shock. “Ingo,” he said suddenly. Both figures beside him whipped their heads around. “If you were back in time… and Irida came from the past…” He sat up, looking at the two of them. “How are we going to get her home?”
Ingo blinked once. Twice. He took a breath in and out. It was a long time before he answered. “I… I don’t know.”
Irida knitted her brows at Ingo’s reaction. “What… wrong?” She had to take a moment to find the words.
Ingo turned to her, aghast, and relayed the short conversation to her. She froze, her mouth dropping open, closing. Her eyes seemed to drain of life. Emmet tried to imagine what she was feeling now. What it would be like to suddenly appear in a foreign land, not knowing the language, surrounded by strangers, not knowing how you would get home and being very, very out of place-
Like Ingo had. Ingo had been in the exact same place before. And if he could make his way back, so could Irida.
Emmet stood abruptly, startling the other two. “I don’t know how, but we will do it.”
“Emmet, we’d have to travel time.”
“I am aware.” He pointed at Ingo. “The track may be long, but the destination is set. Someday, we will help her get home.”

How Orre works (2024 Lore Update)
This one is much, much longer than the original, and so is going under a keep reading
Orre has an actual government, somehow, nevermind the fact that said government is just Alistair, who doubles as the region's champion, alongside an advisory council that mostly oversees things on his behalf. Disagreements between himself and said council are frequent, and the two often act against one another until Alistair outright overrules them entirely out of frustration. Even with all this, support for Alistair remaining in the position he is in is immensely popular within Orre, meanwhile it is condemned outside of Orre. But with this power, Alistair does not meddle in the day to day living of Orreans whatsoever, absolute or not, he does not overstep without good cause, Tyranny is not his taste.
Non-Orreans CANNOT become the region's champion. Not only because Alistair seems nigh-unbeatable, but also because no Orrean would ever even bother listening to them, thus, making it impossible for them to remain.
Orre in fact, has very lax laws when it comes to weaponry, while other regions have laws that prohibit the ownership of many (E.g firearms) Orre has none to speak of, everything is fair game.
Technologically, Orre is no longer stuck in the early-mid 90s, though in some areas it does still lag behind somewhat, it is actually ahead of other regions in a number of areas primarily in the field of hover-based technology and power generation.
As such, the idea of paying for power to one's home is a thing entirely of the past. Orre produces enough power to not only fuel itself, but also enough to power all of Unova all year round, though this power is not shared with the Unovan network.
Touching Orrean mines, be they empty or not, as a non-Orrean is genuinely the FASTEST way to get yourself killed. The mines are seen in a way that is borderline sacred, especially since most of them have dried up and thus Orreans giving someone anything made of Orrean metals is considered an EXTREMELY significant gesture. Though, in more recent times, with the newer technology, most of these mines have since been re-opened to fuel the now booming Orrean industrial base.
Ownership of Shadow Pokemon is considered legal, and is extremely common in the region, even with the production of them being halted when Cipher was "Destroyed" the first time around. With the real destruction of Cipher, Orrean Shadow Pokemon production has genuinely and entirely been ceased once and for all.
Interpol is still outright forbidden from entering the Orre region at all, and instead, Orre is policed by a democratically elected Sheriff system. Each town/city/village elects their sheriff, who doubles as the town's mayor, as well as law enforcement, said sheriff is free to appoint deputies as they see fit. Each Sheriff is in place for six months between elections.
Outside Corporations are all but forbidden from operating within Orre, many of these corporations are the very same ones that almost stripped the region bare of resources after the collapse of the last real government of Orre. The sole exception to this ruling is the Aether Foundation, however even then, they had to create a seperate Orrean branch that has to answer to both Alistair and the greater foundation itself. The only real Orrean corporation is the OAA, the Orrean Arms Association, which is the primary head of the Region's military industrial complex which in turn fuels the majority of the Orrean economy, followed closely by it's subdivision, the OOA, or Orran Oil Association, which is responsible for handling the region's huge oil production. Both the OAA and OOA are headed by Alistair, who makes sure that the council cannot meddle in the goings on of these two key parts of the Orrean machine.
The OAA, however, is not entirely clean, a lot of the arms produced within Orre go on to end up in the hands of criminal organisations across the world, though this information is not public, nor is the reasoning for it known to anyone in particular beyond Alistair himself.
Orre has become an extremely diverse region, thanks in no small part to the fact that Interpol cannot set foot there. Many criminals from the likes of Team Magma, Team Aqua, Rocket, and other organisations that have either collapsed, or downsized, have ended up here. Though most are welcome, a key exception to this rule are those who were part of Team Plasma, who are instead shown the full length of Orrean justice, as though the crimes they committed elsewhere were committed on Orrean soil. Thanks to the fact that Alistair himself actively fought against them during his time living in Unova. Large parts of Orrean research is done by former members of Team Galactic and a few stragglers from Flare, though those are much rarer.
Even with this diversity, tradition, at least in it's historic form, is dead in Orre. The Shrine for Celebi no longer sees use, the gods aren't worshipped, the old ideal of might makes right no longer applies. Old Orrean tradition has all but ceased to be, replaced by the tradition of progress, and the future ahead.
The above however, does not apply to the much, much older indigenous religions and faiths that exist within Orre, which are treated with respect. They live freely within Orre.
With all this, Orre has reached complete and total parity with the other "major" regions, and is now seemingly unshaking in it's new position, finally asserting itself as the large region it is.

more misc. thoughts about my sghr apple of my eye series + some timeskip of the whole cast when they’re all adults! can be spoilery, if you squint hard enough
arven probably has a charcadet (since i think penny, who was also a loner like arven, befriended one at the academy?) who helps him cook or toast food. it’d probably be one of his most cherished pokemon, alongside mabosstiff.
if it did evolve, it’d also be an armarouge instead of a ceruludge because it was treated with love! and care!!! he'd also get auspicious armor instead of malicious armor since he wants to protect his little buddy as best as he can, especially after mabosstiff got really hurt in area zero.
still on the topic of arven. he would probably either run a small restaurant that's extremely popular with the locals but is otherwise completely unknown to everyone else (ex. tourists) OR a private chef. if he was a private chef, he'd probably be hired by someone like nemona (when she's running the paldean league after geeta retires) or kieran (since his job makes him very busy)
kieran also got more into the competitive pokemon scene as he got older, and eventually become one of the champions of unova! usually only one person is supposed to have the title, but since kieran and rosa (protag from black/white 2, uses she/he) kept challenging each other every week and swapping around the position like a game of hot potato, the league kinda just. compromised and made them both champions instead. so they share the workload! (they still battle very often just for the sake of being the Official Champion, though.)
also kieran loves talking about his partner (florian). rosa is sick and Tired of it and it makes her even more Determined beat kieran because he literally won’t shut up (also rosa has zekrom. because I played b2.)
florian's a bit of a weird case since they don't exactly have a "job," persay; ever since they graduated from uva academy, they've been traveling across the other regions to study and document pokemon behaviors and also discover himself! most of their expenses are covered by doing odd jobs or seasonal work while they’re traveling (kieran offered to send him some money every month since they’re “married” but florian refused)
and yes. the first couple years of sghr's relationship is long distance! mostly because kieran's still attending blueberry academy and florian's still going to uva. they try to meet up at least once a year, though that gets more difficult when they graduate and do their Adult Things/Jobs (kieran has to stay in unova while florian constantly feels super restless if he stays in one place/region for too long)
eventually, they both get sick of the distance and compromise (because they're both still really clingy); kieran retires from the competitive scene to travel with florian while florian has to stay in a region for at least a few years while they rent out an apartment.
florian also makes a slightly more stable income! he mostly publishes articles about his pokemon discoveries and research, which are usually related to shinies. they got acquainted with a bunch of other scholars over the past few years from chatting on forums and his previous research papers about pokemon.

Lusamine’s Opinions™
After a lot of mulling on my end, here are Lusamine’s opinions on certain people, organizations, and public figures; all of this is a baseline, and will fluctuate depending on different interpretations, headcanons and muses.
The Pokémon Professors
Lusamine has a great deal of respect for every region’s adjacent professors. She considers herself a scientist, first and foremost, and makes sure that she keeps up-to-date with their findings. Professor Oak, Professor Rowen, and Professor Magnolia were all laying the groundwork for their grand research when Lusamine was just a child— while figures like Professor Elm, Professor Sycamore and Professor Juniper were breaking into the field when Lusamine was in her early 20’s.
There was a point in time where the Alola region had considered hiring Lusamine as an adjacent professor, but she declined the position, and vouched for Professor Kukui to take on the role, due to his impressive research surrounding the Z-crystals and how it effected Pokémon move behavior.
Professor Sada and Professor Turo are two scholars that Lusamine holds in high regard. She is unaware of the existence of the Paradox Pokémon and the Time Machine that was built in Area Zero, but she is aware of the tera crystals, and the immense amount of time that Sada and Turo have poured into their research. She considers the two of them some of the most dedicated minds of the current era. And if she were to ever discover what was at the bottom of the crater, she would be offering funding, and some of her best scientists, to assist in any way possible.
Regional Governments
The Aether Foundation has branches in several spots across the globe— but the base of operations is the Aether Paradise in Alola. Because of that, Lusamine only spares attention for places where Aether has a footing. Currently, beyond Alola, Aether is operating near Mossdeep City in Hoenn, and in a modest branch building outside of Canalave City in Sinnoh. She is vying for a permit to operate in Unova, so that she can better study the Elgyem that live in the region. Aether employees can also be found studying Mt. Moon on occasion, but she has not bothered to work independently in either Kanto or Johto, due to certain hostilities in the regions.
That being said, anywhere that Aether operates, Lusamine attempts to keep up with the politics, and works to assure that Aether is seen in a positive light.
In the case of the Galar region’s extremely strict import and export laws, and Paldea’s newly opened borders, Lusamine knows little to nothing about those regions, nor does she have any interest in setting foot into such uncharted territory. Not only that, it would put her in an awkward competition with Macro Cosmos in Galar, and the strict Paldean government in Paldea, which she would rather not deal with. She is also not too pressed about having a presence in Kalos, because from what she understands— a billionaire named Lysandre holds enough influence over the region.
Regional Champions/Gym Leaders/Elite Four.
Once upon a time, Lusamine was an avid Pokémon battler, but she does not have enough time to dedicate herself to the practice anymore. That being said, she does not keep up with the big names in the scene, unless they are household names— such as Red or Leon. Names such as those are tossed around so frequently that she need not look into them. But she wouldn’t be able to tell you who the champion of Unova or Kanto-Johto is, nor is she inclined to care.
The same goes for members of the gym leader circuits and the elite four. Many of her employees follow the careers of these professional trainers, but Lusamine does not personally. She has heard of the more popular faces, such as Grimsley, Malva, Rika, Caitlin and Lance. (There’s actually a few of her employees who are HUGE fans of them.)
The Alolan elite four, of course, she knows pretty personally. It’s strictly professional, however. You won’t see her going out of her way to socialize with Molayne, though she does have an appreciation for his inventiveness.
Organizations
I’m just going to go down the list in chronological order, since there’s so many squads now.
ROCKET is the organization that Lusamine knows the most about, due to Alola’s close proximity to Kanto, and a lot of the shared technology. Her overarching opinion is going to change depending on individual verses and interpretations, but generally speaking, she follows the philosophy of “they leave me alone, I leave them alone.” To her, the fact that Rocket exists in the first place is a testament to societal collapse and the greed of humans, but she can somewhat understand Giovanni’s angle of controlling the world; she can find the logic in trying to control what already exists for the sake of self-preservation and fascination, even though it is something that doesn’t interest her personally. Paired with the fact that both Rocket and Aether have worked to develop new types of PokéBalls, are busy creating new Pokémon through questionably unethical experiments, and the fact that there are several Aether employees who use Porygon 2, a Pokémon that Rocket invented, it’s safe to assume that there is SOME sort of connection between the two groups.
MAGMA and AQUA are both groups that have potential in the race to improve the environment, but the extremes that they take in order to achieve their goals is absolutely ridiculous in Lusamine’s opinion. She thinks that, of the two, Maxie is easier to reason with— Archie reminds her of Guzma: loud, reckless and hardheaded. She believes that, if Magma and Aqua were to stop going at each others throats, and put their heads together, that they could greatly benefit the global ecosystems— however, expanding the land, and expanding the ocean, is illogical to her, and she does not see the long term benefit in changing the terrain, nor does she think that it is a necessary to improve the lives of humans and Pokémon.
GALACTIC is very fascinating to Lusamine, Cyrus especially. He is such a young man, but his personality is eerily similar to Lusamine’s, and he has a brilliant mind. It is unfortunate to her that his ideals are so extremely out of touch with reality, that it would not be worth working with him; the data and technology related to outer space and contacting other dimensions is priceless information for Lusamine, and she would be willing to work alongside Galactic, if the end goal weren’t to completely reset all of reality. After Cyrus’ disappearance, Lusamine would absolutely be interested in reaching out to the splintered pieces of Galactic, with the hopes that their knowledge would assist in her research on Ultra Space.
The full extent of PLASMA’S plans is unknown to Lusamine; she doesn’t know that Ghetsis intends on disarming everybody, except for himself and a select few others. She also does not know about the plan to use Kyurem to take control of the Unova region. What she does know is that Plasma seems keen on protecting Pokémon, which garners Lusamine’s interest. If she were to learn about the full extent of Ghetsis’ plans, she would definitely disagree at several different points, but unlike Magma, Aqua and Galactic, Plasma does not want to blow up the world. She can reason and peacefully disagree with people who have different philosophical points, but she cannot do that with megalomaniacs. She would actually agree that many people should NOT own Pokémon, actually. It would be another case of “you leave me alone, and I leave you alone.” She’d especially be intrigued by the creation of Genesect, of course, since genetic research is something that Aether has a hand of. Colress is also a MAJOR point of interest, because of his involvement with technology and engineering.
Lusamine does NOT know that FLARE exists. She has no idea that there is a fanatical cult that wants to blow up the world. (Why do so many people want to blow up the world?) What she IS aware of, is Lysandre’s major involvement in the Kalos region, and his inventions. At face value, Lusamine would have a great deal of respect for Lysandre’s efficiency and innovation, and perhaps she would be interested in learning more about his plans to improve the region. All of that would come to a stop, however, if she learned about Flare, and their goals. To her, the idea of one human man deciding who is chosen and unchosen, is delusional, psychotic, and narcissistic. In her mind, humanity is already flawed— a humanity born from the vision of one man would be even more flawed. In the end, it is likely that Lusamine would forever consider Lysandre a threat if she came to know of Flare’s plans, and would have an exit strategy planned if the Ultimate Weapon were ever fired off.
MACRO COSMOS, as a monopoly in the Galar region, appears as a powerful business conglomerate that Lusamine would certainly be interested in! She would also offer to have Aether sponsor some of the prospective gym challengers in the Galar region. Chairman Rose and Oleana seem like reasonable, but private people, to Lusamine, which she can absolutely agree with and understand. Socially, they may get along as well. However, yet again it boils down to the “you want to blow up the world” issue. She has no idea that Eternatus exists. If she did, she would be all over wanting to research its existence, especially since the creature fell from the sky, much like Necrozma. The plan to have Eternatus gobble everything up, of course, is where Lusamine shakes her head and decides that Rose is delusional. Not only that, the blueprints to Type: Null were stolen by someone involved with Macro Cosmos— and if Lusamine ever finds out about that, she is going to start a legal nightmare.
Lusamine simply doesn’t know that YELL and STAR exist, and their existence doesn’t impact anything that she is doing, so she has very little care about them— much like SKULL, she would view those groups as nothing but disruptive kids. Of course, she would have a healthy appreciation for the inventiveness of Ortega. The creation of the Starmobiles is silly on the outside, but it is an artificial symbiotic relationship between multiple Pokémon, which is entirely unheard of. Lusamine would be impressed, and likely offer Ortega scholarship opportunities and an internship at Aether. The same goes for Penny, she would find her to be incredibly bright, especially with her ability to infiltrate security systems at such a young age.
Last but not least, the Orre region’s factions, SNAGEM and CIPHER, are not well known outside of Orre and its bordering regions, and so she would care very little about them unless they began to cause her problems. Cipher’s discovery of shadowing Pokémon would certainly catch her eye, however, from a scientific stand point. Her opinion on the entire ordeal? Research is research. She would not vouch for the creation of shadow Pokémon though. It is an unnecessary means of weaponry that, in her mind, does not need to be encouraged. If an organization needs to alter Pokémon to THAT extent in order for them to be powerful, and to take control of the region’s government, then the hostility makes it entirely unworthy taking advantage of the science. Snagem as an organization would remind her of Rocket in more ways than one, and she would be more inclined to reason with them, as a result. Yet again, it is a case of “you do not want to blow up the world, leave me alone and I will leave you alone.”

originally i was going to play the original pkmn red but i remembered that is some buggy NONSENSE!! so w/e ill do my best to remember until i feel like playing fire red (i downloaded all this shit for nothing)
but lore updates:
FRLG (sorta kinda)
pink is the youngest of the three by one singular month (red is the middle trainer
pink never wanted to be a trainer, she wanted to be a singer but her friends were leaving to their journey and she didnt want to be alone so she was going to follow...
until blue decided she was going to come with them anyway it was rather comedic. blue shows up to her house like "WE'RE GOING ON A PKMN JOURNEY COME ON!!" and pink was already packing her things and is like "wait wait, but my mom-"
her existence makes blue a horrible trainer. like 10 year olds with a crush means they wanna show off and pink is like trying to be a good cheerleader which throws him off because hes shy over her
wasnt there when he was the champion... and when he instantly lost being champion but told him he was really cool anyway
GLDSILVER
kinda just doing her own thing. when blue became a gym leader, she began to focus on becoming an idea because she wanted to make her own name
has a stable team that she doesnt really use for battling but for expanding her performances! this is actual the era where she gets a pink butterfree
because that pink butterfree is one of the kids of original butterfree/pink butterfree! (this is important to me. i never recovered when butterfree never came back)
has small gigs but her name grows larger with each performance and focuses more on pop songs and working with her pokemon more than anything
misses red and blue but doesnt know where red is half the time so she ends up spending more time with blue
ALA
established idol girl whos incredibly popular and probably top three overall worldwide (i do what i want)
doesnt get a break, usually visiting as many regions as possible
has a manager (hasnt named him yet) her manager acts like her dad half the time lmfao
already dating blue at this point and has to face time him nearly every day (he misses her because they barely get to see each other) (long distance dating is crazy when your gf is an idol currently in paldea or was it unova? even she barely remembers
went on vacation with blue and red one day. thought she was going to be lowkey ignored because red and blue are besties.
ended up with red being ignored because blue was dragging her everywhere with red following behind silently
it was just like when they were kids in the end <3

He will never admit it but he was an obvious crush on both his childhood friends.
