series masterlist
Both you and Eric rushed to the scene of the crime and you were surprised to see both Chief Ayden and Hyunjae already examining the body that was terribly mutilated.
The constables wasted no time in sealing the area off to ensure no evidence was tampered with. As the both of you made way through the crowd and towards the body, it was truly a horrible sight to behold.
🌨️ The crime was much more brutal than the previous. Not only was she ripped open, but her internal organs were extracted out and laid around the body. You gagged, but you tried your best to maintain your composure. Thankfully, Hyunjae was there and placed an arm around you to support.
“I know it’s hard. If you’d like a time to calm down for a bit, that's totally fine with us.”
Giving yourself a huff, you gently and slowly let Hyunjae’s arm off around you. “Thank you, I’ll be fine. It’s my job to deal with these after all, no matter how awful the crime may be.”
It frustrates you how these young ladies had to go through such a horrible experience, and being a woman yourself you can’t help but to feel pathetic. You felt sick to your stomach, sorry even for these ladies to turn towards prostitution as a means to survive while you’re sitting in a privileged office surrounded by men whom you can trust, not ones who are only seeking pleasure with your body.
This time though, your mind immediately went straight to your friend, Selene. Because the victim who was lying on the ground in their own pool of blood, was her flatmate.
You wasted no time running towards the brothel, urging Mrs Potts to let you meet your friend right this second.
When you reached towards her room, sure enough, she was curled up like a fetus, crying a flood of tears. You stayed for at least a good 3 hours right by her side, while she clinged onto you for dear life.
You knew how Ann Marie, the victim, meant so much to her. They got into the industry at the same time, been through hell and back multiple times together. They have always had each other's backs. In fact, you have somewhat convinced Ann Marie to look after Selene for you while you’re away busy with your job. She was like a sister to her.
After having some time to calm down, Selene then proposes an idea to you, one that you would turn down with no questions asked. She offered herself to impersonate as one of the prostitutes out in the dark alleys of Whitechapel in order to truly catch the killer in action.
Knowing how dangerous it could be, you were reluctant to accept the offer. However, she then adds on a point that somehow convinces you a little.
“Bring one of your detective boys with me.”
“So who volunteers to be making out with the ladies in the middle of the night in the alleys?”
Eric announces out loud in the office, trying to convince anyone really who is willing to take on the job. To him, it was a win-win situation because hey, making out while patrolling the area in order to catch the killer? That’s multitasking at its best. Being the only woman and sane person, you had to whack Eric’s arms and wake the hard-ass mind of his.
But there was some sort of truth and benefits with Selene’s idea. With detectives in disguise around the active areas where the killer takes part in fulfilling his fantasy, it increases the likelihood of you being able to catch the prepatrator this time.
However, many men rejected the idea though, saying how they have a family at home and their wives would be pissed at them knowing that they’ve taken this job offer, even though it was only for work. And that includes Haknyeon, who recently got engaged with his partner whom he’s been with for 4 years.
In the end, only a handful of detectives, mostly the younger ones who usually spend their nights down at the pub, volunteered to do the job. Eric being Eric, has voluntarily counted himself in from the very beginning.
You just had to remind Eric one thing though, it’s Selene who gets to choose which one she wants to be with.
The deal doesn’t happen until midnight, so you had some time to spare and went patrolling around the streets of Whitechapel, gathering potential evidence along the way of course. A few days have passed since the last case happened, and things have been quite busy around the office.
You barely had time to yourself, making yourself pulled an all-nighter and going without much food. This was how you were, being all sucked up into a case so much that you ignored your basic necessities, especially when this was a relation to the cold case that happened decades ago.
Haknyeon notices how in such bad form you were, and somehow convinces Chief Ayden to let you off just for the afternoon. You were even surprised that the chief actually accepted his proposal, but well, that’s Haknyeon for you.
You take a moment to take in all of the events that have been going around Whitechapel lately as you take a stroll along the streets. You can’t help but to feel a sense of gloominess as you couldn’t believe how things have changed in this district that you basically grew up in all these years. It still pains you how many, especially women and children, who were still living in poverty, and you wished you had the ability to release all of them from their misery.
You suddenly reminisce back in the days, where you passed by the street where you and your family once resided. You were poor, and your father barely had the expenses to feed the entire family at least a meal a day.
But after years of sacrifice and efforts, he managed to secure a simple job of being the clerk of your local police station. It took years for him to finally be able to achieve the detective title, but he sadly passed only a few years later as he succumbed to his tuberculosis.
Your mother on the other hand, has done everything to support you as much as she could, and kept you safe too. Both her and your father were definitely against the idea of you following your father’s footsteps as the police force was nowhere for a female to be at.
After your father’s death, you somehow managed to convince your mother to continue your father’s legacy. It was years until she had finally given up and accepted your determination.
You had finally gotten the detective position when you were 24, but your mother sadly wasn’t here to see it. Ever since then, you’ve been alone, trying by all means to survive on your own. But as you had Selene and Eric by your side, things seemed a little better even during the most tumultuous times.
As you walked past your former place of residence, you locked your eyes on the brunette that was walking right into your direction.
You waved your hands in excitement while looking at the male, and he responded the same way and he closed the distance.
Hyunjae was away for a few days, having to return back to Scotland Yard to fill in the details to his superior. The male jokes about how he has not been able to eat and rest properly, and that he was dying from hunger and exhaustion. Seeing this as an opportunity, you offered the idea of hanging out at one of the nearby cafes that you often go to whenever you have a chance to have a lunch break away from the station.
“Oh my gosh Y/N, you’re a saviour”. Hyunjae tries to babble as he continuously stuffed his mouth with the multiple amounts of pastries that he ordered on a whim. You can’t help but to laugh, earning a growl from the male.
“Hey it’s not funny, I have been starving for days.”
You couldn’t help but to chuckle at his remark. “It just amuses me how you have times where you’re absolutely hilarious, because you somehow paint me the picture that you’re a dependable and serious person when you do your job.”
“And that’s why many find me attractive. I believe you’re on the same page too, no?”
You almost choked on your coffee. Seriously, does this man live on drugs or something? Why does he have to make such flirty comments every time you try to have a proper friendly conversation with him.
Oh how your heart somehow enjoys these unexpected moments.
“Well.. I mean.. You’re one of a kind, I guess.” You mumbled, not really wanting the individual to fully catch on what you’ve just said. But you know that will never be the case especially when his speciality is reading other people as part of his job.
“I like that Y/N. Of how genuine you can be. It still amazes me that you’re a detective, and of how far you’ve gotten. You really are impressive.”
Not wanting to further deepen the red flushed tomato look on your face, you quickly cleared your throat and tried to change the topic, more specifically towards him.
“So, how did the reports go back in Scotland Yard?”
“Not much, just the usual.” He shrugged. “Though I must truly thank you for the breakthrough we’ve had with the case with your friend Selene.”
At that moment, Hyunjae suddenly paused his gobbling spree as he now positions himself up straight on his chair and lays his crossed arms onto the table.
“If I may ask though.” He paused, trying to read your facial expressions to see if it was alright to continue on with the topic. “How did you get to know Selene, I mean. I don’t wanna be rude, but y’know, since the both of you are in two totally different industries.”
“No, of course not. I always get that impression a lot, and so does Selene. Well, to start off, we were neighbours at one point when we were kids. But both of us had a very different upbringing.”
“I supposed it has something to do with Selene’s parents that drove her down to this line of work?”
“Her mother was a prostitute as well, it was the only way for her to be able to provide for both of them and have a roof to live in. She never knew who her father was, and neither did her mother.”
Taking a sip of your hot coffee, you continued. “I guess my mother also took the initiative to take care of Selene when her mother was away for work, as she can be gone for days even up to a week at times. Time passed and both of our mothers began to look out for each other, and so did the both of us as well.”
With that, you’ve earned a smile plastered across the brunette’s face. “Well, I must say I am delighted to hear that Selene has gotten the help and support she needed since young, and I admire her for taking this path. Of course, not to say prostitution is a glamorous job, but these women are some of the toughest ones alive in this day and age. Sacrificing so many to provide for their loved ones, that’s a lot to shoulder on.”
“I agree. But sometimes I just can’t help it but to feel bad for where I am now.” You sighed and gave Hyunjae a somewhat dejected look.
Hyunjae was surely puzzled with what you’ve said as he did not expect such an answer to come out from you at all. “Why do you say that when you clearly have such an amazing job right now?”
“That’s the thing. The fact that I’m sitting in a well-maintained office and surrounded by people that makes me feel safe and comfortable whereas the other girls are out in the streets where everyday is like a battle to them. Like I wished they had a better environment to be in to earn money, and I would do anything to trade with them. That does not mean I condone adultery but you get the idea.” You clearly had to add on the last sentence to prove your point.
Hyunjae then places the coffee that he was sipping down onto the table and leans slightly closer towards you. “Well, that’s why we exist, Y/N. We’re here to improve the law and help the citizens to have a better upbringing and life.”
It was then Hyunjae then placed one of his palms on your hand that was seemingly resting on the table, which resulted you in having butterflies in your stomach.
“And I’ll add on that I’m proud of where the police force has gotten at this point in time. We’re changing, improving for the better, to be able to help the people we care and are in need. As a police officer, I am proud of where I am now, and I hope you feel the same way too Y/N, because I sure do see the passion in your eyes and how you’re doing your very best in making a difference each day.”
Wow. Just wow. You were stunned. Is this how profilers are so good in choosing their words of speech to the people they interact with on a daily basis? Because you sure are hypnotized by his words. You never knew that he could’ve said such comforting words even though you both have not begun working as partners for long, and now you’re damn sure and glad that he’s the one Scotland Yard sent for the cold case unit.
“T-thank you, Hyunjae. I mean.” You stammered, and quickly cleared your throat to continue on. “Nobody has ever said something like that to me, and I’m grateful to have heard from your perspective.”
Hyunjae has obviously found your shy demeanor adorable, wanting to tease you a bit more, he decided to cup your hand with both of his now.
“Not at all partner, I’m glad to be able to help in any way I can.”
Before you could get distracted, you again tried to quickly change the topic back to something else to distract yourself for a bit, while also pulling your hand away from his grasp if you do not wish to explode right in front of him any moment now.
“Now that I have shared some parts of my stories, I think it’s fair for you to do the same, no?”
He chuckled. “Aren’t you a sly woman yourself?”
Instead of telling you his side of the story, Hyunjae then stood up from his chair. “Sure I’d tell you, but that will have to wait.”
He then gestures to the clock right behind the cafe counter.
“It’s time for us to get back to the office if you don’t wanna hear Chief Ayden’s grumblings. Also, it’s time for us to buckle up for tonight’s deal.”

24th October >> Mass Readings (USA)
Tuesday, Twenty Ninth Wee in Ordinary Time
or
Saint Antony Mary Claret, Bishop.
(Liturgical Colour: Green: A (1))
First Reading Romans 5:12, 15b, 17-19, 20b-21 If by the transgressions of one person death came to reign, how much more will those who receive grace come to reign in life.
Brothers and sisters: Through one man sin entered the world, and through sin, death, and thus death came to all men, inasmuch as all sinned.
If by that one person’s transgression the many died, how much more did the grace of God and the gracious gift of the one man Jesus Christ overflow for the many. For if, by the transgression of the one, death came to reign through that one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of justification come to reign in life through the one Jesus Christ. In conclusion, just as through one transgression condemnation came upon all, so, through one righteous act acquittal and life came to all. For just as through the disobedience of one man the many were made sinners, so, through the obedience of the one the many will be made righteous. Where sin increased, grace overflowed all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through justification for eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 40:7-8a, 8b-9, 10, 17
R/ Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
Sacrifice or oblation you wished not, but ears open to obedience you gave me. Burnt offerings or sin-offerings you sought not; then said I, “Behold I come.”
R/ Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
“In the written scroll it is prescribed for me, To do your will, O my God, is my delight, and your law is within my heart!”
R/ Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
I announced your justice in the vast assembly; I did not restrain my lips, as you, O LORD, know.
R/ Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
May all who seek you exult and be glad in you, And may those who love your salvation say ever, “The LORD be glorified.”
R/ Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
Gospel Acclamation Luke 21:36
Alleluia, alleluia. Be vigilant at all times and pray that you may have the strength to stand before the Son of Man. Alleluia, alleluia.
Gospel Luke 12:35-38 Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival.
Jesus said to his disciples: “Gird your loins and light your lamps and be like servants who await their master’s return from a wedding, ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival. Amen, I say to you, he will gird himself, have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them. And should he come in the second or third watch and find them prepared in this way, blessed are those servants.”
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

(Readings for the memorial)
(There is a choice today between the readings for the ferial day (Tuesday) and those for the memorial. The ferial readings are recommended unless pastoral reasons suggest otherwise)
First Reading Isaiah 52:7-10 All the ends of the earth will behold the salvation of our God.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings glad tidings, Announcing peace, bearing good news, announcing salvation, and saying to Zion, “Your God is King!” Hark! Your sentinels raise a cry, together they shout for joy, For they see directly, before their eyes, the LORD restoring Zion. Break out together in song, O ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD comforts his people, he redeems Jerusalem. The LORD has bared his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; All the ends of the earth will behold the salvation of our God.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 96:1-2a, 2b-3, 7-8, 10
R/ Proclaim God’s marvelous deeds to all the nations.
Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all you lands. Sing to the LORD; bless his name.
R/ Proclaim God’s marvelous deeds to all the nations.
Announce his salvation, day after day. Tell his glory among the nations; among all peoples, his wondrous deeds.
R/ Proclaim God’s marvelous deeds to all the nations.
Give to the LORD, you families of nations, give to the LORD glory and praise; give to the LORD the glory due his name!
R/ Proclaim God’s marvelous deeds to all the nations.
Say among the nations: The LORD is king. He has made the world firm, not to be moved; he governs the peoples with equity.
R/ Proclaim God’s marvelous deeds to all the nations.
Gospel Acclamation Mark 1:17
Alleluia, alleluia. Come after me, says the Lord, and I will make you fishers of men. Alleluia, alleluia.
Gospel Mark 1:14-20 I will make you fishers of men.
After John the Baptist had been arrested, Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the Gospel of God: “This is the time of fulfillment. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the Gospel.” As he passed by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting their nets into the sea; they were fishermen. Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Then they abandoned their nets and followed him. He walked along a little farther and saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They too were in a boat mending their nets. Then he called them. So they left their father Zebedee in the boat along with the hired men and followed him.
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

You bump into them when they are…
Characters: Hanayama, Retsu, Katsumi, Yujiro, Pickle, Guevara, Musashi
@HANAYAMA KAORU
The time is 3:45 on Friday, and the place is the classroom of Class 1A of Kurawashi High School.
"I really want to go to the maid's cafe." You whimper while lying on the table, just enough for Saeri who is sitting behind you to hear.
"You're interested in that kind of place?" Saeri asked, squinting at you, who was packing her textbooks.
"I really want to eat omurice which was delivered by the lovely maid onee-san※, I really want to be called master by the lovely maid onee-san, I really want to drink tea with the lovely maid onee-san."
(※Note: “onee-san” mean sister in Japanese. )
"Are you an old man?" Saeri asked.
You frowned and raised your head, "Don't underestimate old men! Old men are very popular in the ACG community."
"Pathetic otaku." Saeri said wryly.
"If you come with me, I'll let you copy my biology homework."
"No, I’m good. I'm going on a date with my boyfriend today."
"It’s okay, I can live by myself, I'll pick up the trash myself and eat it."
"Okay, but be careful not to eat glass shards."
——
In the end, you went to the Grapple Heaven maid cafe in Akihabara alone, which is a bit of a weeaboo cafe. The name might give the impression that it's one of those places, but it's actually a very normal maid cafe, with lovely maids coming out to greet guests.
Still, It takes a lot of courage to enter such a place like this.
You look up at the pink lettering on the sign (Grapple Heaven Maid Cafe "The Strongest ☆Maid on Earth"), swallow a mouthful of water, and clutch the orange shopping bag containing the Pochita stuff toy you just bought.
(If my classmates find me entering this kind of store, I will definitely die socially…I’d better go home, I really dare not go to this kind of place alone.)
Just as you turned to leave, a vibrant voice called out to you:
"Master, welcome back!"
"Ah? Huh?" You let out a strange cry that even you thought was abrupt.
Although humans can't see the 360-degree direction, if someone comes out of their line of sight, or if the cat they raise runs to play at their feet, they can detect it.
But you couldn't detect the maid at all.
The most terrifying thing is that you followed the maid upstairs before you knew it, and were taken into the maid's cafe.
If this maid was a serial killer, you would have been dismembered.
Upon entering the store, the maids, who had already stood at the door, cried out in unison, "Welcome back, Master!" Their voices were very sweet, and they looked like beautiful girls, but their muscles were comparable to those of bodybuilders. There is a huge gap between their appearance and clothing, and it is really impossible to ignore this sense of disobedience.
(If I leave without spending money, they will definitely beat me to death.)
One of the maids takes you to a seat by the window and gives you a handwritten menu with lovely writing and a lovely doodle beside it. You can tell that the person writing it is a lovely girl.
"I recommend you to order this Bailin Temple Resurrection food set meal, which contains Chinese medicine and is good for your health. The meal also includes a glass of fructose water infused with the sweat of the martial artist's hands!"
"The sweat of the martial artist's hands sounds disgusting, but I'll take it." You smile.
"I understand Master♡"
After the maid left, you began to observe the environment in the cafe. The guests here are not all stereotypical weeb, in fact, most of them are very ordinary people and --
(H-Hanayama—?!!)
You stare in disbelief at Hanayama Kaoru, who sits by the window, enjoying vanilla ice cream soda and mango parfait.
He had already changed his school uniform and put on a slightly mature white suit. While looking out the window, he leisurely sipped the vanilla ice cream soda, exuding a relaxed and relaxed atmosphere all over his body.
(What a sight to behold! THAT Hanayama Kaoru in a place like this!! What else is he hiding?!)
Perhaps sensing your intense gaze, Hanayama put down his glass and turned his head to look in your direction. When he sees you, his body freezes noticeably.
(FUCK.)
The two of you look at each other, equally stunned to have run into each other in the maid's Cafe.
"Thank you for waiting, master!"
At this moment, the maid came to rescue you like a savior, standing between you and Hanayama.
"This is the Berlin Temple Resurrection Cuisine Course you ordered——!"
The Bailin Temple Resurrection food set is a nice name, but it's actually omurice, butter-flavored yam, and fructose water with the sweat of a martial artist. The words "Resurrection!" were written in ketchup next to the omurice.
"What would master want me to write on the omurice? I can also draw patterns!"
You think for a moment. "Please paint what you want, I don't care."
The maid nodded and then drew a fulu with ketchup on the omurice.
"?"
"Ah, I'm so sorry—I used to work at a shrine before, so I'm used to drawing fulu! I'm so sorry! I'll make you a new one!!" The maid kept bowing and apologizing to you.
You wave your hand. "It's okay, I like this very much."
The maid raised her head and smiled sweetly again, "Thank you for your understanding, master!" Afterward, the maid gave you a protein drink worth 600 yen to make up for it.
Immediately after the maid left, the wall between you and Hanayama disappeared, and now it's just the two of you staring blankly.
(What should I do... Should I go up to him and say hi? But he doesn't seem to want to be disturbed, and it must be very embarrassing for him to be discovered by his classmates that he is in the maid cafe or something.)
Your thoughts wander until a new message comes from your phone, drawing your attention to it.
You unlocked your phone and saw that the caller turned out to be Hanayama, your heart skipped a beat, but you still mustered up the courage to open the message.
Saint Hanayama: I didn't expect you to come, what a coincidence...
You: I didn't expect you to come
Saint Hanayama: I happened to be passing by, definitely not a regular visitor.
You: Huh
Saint Hanayama: ......Please don‘t tell anyone about this.
You: Give me 10000 yan and I will shut up.
——
Ever since you bumped into Hanayama's laid-back look at the maid's cafe, you're starting to think it won't be weird to see him dressed as Sailor Moon someday... Although the witness's fingers could have been cut or thrown into Tokyo Bay (and dumbbells strapped to the body).
@RETSU KAIOU & OROCHI KATSUMI
-You see them wrestling together on the floor of the dojo, but you think they're making out due to the misunderstanding of the poses.
-Retsu and Katsumi didn't notice your presence, so you quietly left the scene.
- When you got home, you turned on your laptop and wrote a short story about Retsu x Katsumi, which was unexpectedly popular after posting it on the Internet.
- Retsu Kaiou and Orochi Katsumi, who were in the eye of the storm, knew nothing about it.
@HANMA YUJIRO
-Yujiro has nothing to hide, he has always done things openly, whether it is SEX or MASTURBATION, he will not do it stealthily! Morning, noon, night, keep doing it! Make it non-stop before and after meals! Do it until he is full! Until he gets tired of it! Do the best he can!!
@PICKLE
-You caught Pickle holding your phone and kissing Twilight Sparkle* human fanart.
(※Note: Twilight Sparkle is the protagonist of My Little Pony.)
- After you bumped into him kissing Twilight sparkle, Pickle immediately hid in the tree hole and didn't come out for two days.
@JUN GUEVARA
- Honestly, you've already seen his pp, and now you don't even care if he's naked in front of you.
@MIYAMOTO MUSASHI
-You caught him talking in his sleep. According to the content of the dream, it was probably a nightmare, because Musashi kept shouting the name of Samuko Grandma and shouting in the tone of an Italian local organization "Passion" boss.
- So you picked up your phone to record and plan to use it to threaten him in the future.
A/N:
Gaia and Russian Boy’s headcanons chapter 01-05 will be added later maybe

bad boy good thing | m
pairing: jeon jungkook x oc
genre: angst, smut, fluff, miscommunication (we hate her lol), pining
warnings: smut, jungkook is really an asshole, the angst hurts a lot tbh, unhealthy relationships (?)
words: 3, 451
summary: a series of drabbles where you're confused and jungkook's confusing
“You’re so pretty like this,” Jungkook whispers against your cheek but it’s nothing like sweet nothings that would comfort you.
No. It’s dirty, it’s relentless when he hooks his fingers upwards against your spongey walls while his other hand clamps on your mouth to keep your gasps at bay. There’s nothing that you can do when he has your pleasure quite literally in the palm of his hands.
“Mmph.” You groan, hips bucking upwards despite your mind telling you that this was wrong, that you weren’t like this.
But Jungkook had a way of clouding your conscience and leading you to unmapped territories when he looks at you with his doe-eyes that looked nothing like innocence but more like trouble.
Jungkook’s absolutely brutal when he finger fucks your pussy until it's squelching within the bathroom walls, nearly overpowering the music from outside. You’re pathetically whining and moaning under him, back stained with sweat while he presses you against the sink. When he looks at you, it’s almost worth it.
Almost.
“This fucking pussy gets wet only for me, yeah?” He growls, eyes barring anomalistically when he releases his other hand from your mouth to grip your chin to look at him.
You can’t control the moan that you let out when he drags his fingertips across the spongey surface of your cunt, your hole fluttering around his long digits that hypnotised you every single time.
“J-Jungkook—” You gasp when he presses his thumb against your clit, your wetness lubricating the movement until your legs shudder around his hips while his eyes zero onto your pussy.
The way he revs up his spit at the back of his throat should’ve been disgusting and you should’ve run for the hills, but Jungkook had a way of making everything you were taught to avoid look appetising because a dollop of his slaver drops directly onto your clit and you feel your stomach clench.
“Fuck. You’re such a slut, aren’t you?” He hisses, “Acting so prim and proper on the outside but you just wanna get fucked like a dirty little secret, huh?”
You shake your head when he pounds harder into you that your body is hiking up the sink with the force he’s exerting into shoving his fingers into your pussy. Tears of ecstasy or shame—you don’t know—but they’re accumulating at the edge of your eyes and threatening release, just like your orgasm that’s impending.
“You’re a liar.” He spits at you and it’s not as malicious as it should be because he’s smirking, a grin so menacing but addictive that you can’t help your dazed eyes that fall onto his face.
Your hand is gripping his shoulder while the other holds onto the sink because your pussy is spasming around his fingers and your wetness is everywhere. It’s on his jeans, fingers, and the remnants of your juice taint his lips—and you feel your stomach clench harder while your mind grows fuzzier.
“N-Not lying.” You whimper.
Jungkook scoffs like he doesn’t believe you, “You’re a liar. You’re a bad girl, aren’t you? What’s everyone going to think if they see you fucked out with just my fingers?”
Your eyes roll to the back of your head when he leans down in one sudden motion that you can’t even catch up with and envelopes your throbbing bud into his mouth and sucks. Sucks so hard that you scream and you’re sure the partygoers know exactly what’s going on in the bathroom.
“Jungkook!” You scream, clutching his hair.
He chuckles darkly against your pussy but doesn’t relent his actions. The dark locks between your thighs make everything much harder to focus on, but all you can feel and see in Jungkook.
“N-No—I c-can’t—fuck!—” You’re not pushing him away but your hips are unconsciously grinding against his mouth when he finger fucks your pussy all while giving you the beautiful stimulation from his hot mouth.
“You’re going to cum for me and drench my face, yeah?” He mumbles into your pussy but it’s nothing short of demanding, “Gonna eat your fucking pussy clean.”
You’re so close, so so close and Jungkook feels it. He’s generous today, hooking his fingers deeper, and harder until—
“Fuck!” You scream.
Jungkook smirks against your pussy, knowing he’s found it. And Jungkook is someone who doesn’t stop when he knows he’s doing well, he just goes harder. That’s exactly what he does that pushes you over the edge.
He hooks his fingers until you’re nearly lifted off the sink, but his hand presses against your stomach to keep you still, prolonging the intense feeling of pleasure mixed with pain.
“J-Jungkook—f-fuck, I—can’t—p-please—I’m c-cumming—” You’re a blubbering mess and you’re outwardly crying, and Jungkook loves the tears that stream down your face as a result of his hard work on your pussy.
“Cum for me pretty.” He rubs your clit vigorously as he pulls away just to see you unravel.
And you do, so intensely and captivatingly that Jungkook nearly cums himself on the spot. But you were a sight to behold when your face contorts in pleasure, pussy clenching uncontrollably while you spurt the evidence of your orgasm all over the sink and onto Jungkook’s clothes.
Your orgasm is all too long and too short, but it’s good. It sends you away to a spiral of acute gratification that doesn’t disappoint. You barely make out Jungkook’s darkened but pleased expression when your body shudders from the aftershocks of your orgasm.
When you come down, and you blink your eyes to come back to the world—the first thing you see is Jungkook’s stained shirt like he spilled water on it but it was just the proof of your arousal and his effort.
Jungkook tugs you close to make sure you see the way he sticks his three fingers into his mouth, smirking at your wide eyes.
“Good girls taste the best.” He hums.
You blush despite the fact he’s seen the worst and best parts of you, hiding away from his keen gaze when he leans down to chase your lips.
“The p-party.” You mumble.
Jungkook scoffs with a wicked grin on his face, “Bet everyone heard how loud you get for me.”
You grimace at the thought of walking out there, where your friends and peers are after the session Jungkook put you through with the redness on your cheeks that could only allude to one thing.
And what you did with Jungkook comes crashing down onto you all at once, even if your stomach still flutters at the pleasure he’s given you. You weren’t like this. You didn’t follow men into bathrooms and let them stick their fingers into your pussy just so you could chase your high. You didn’t let men like Jungkook touch you the way he did when he squeezed your cheeks to look at him.
You broke all of the rules you made for yourself, compartmentalised in your brain—and you can only blame—
“Jungkook.” You say softly, eyes looking up to him and you’re sure he sees your dried tears, “This has to stop.”
For the second time of the night, Jungkook looks like he doesn’t believe you. And that’s probably because you don’t even believe yourself.
Jungkook smirks, “You say that every time it’s over but you’re the one looking for me when I’m gone.”
“I don’t look for you.” You frown.
He scoffs.
“You don’t? Then why would the esteemed _____ who sets the fucking curve all the damn time turn up at a house party where she doesn’t belong?”
You purse your lips and look away. You both knew that parties were not your thing and definitely not one where a bunch of drunk college students was involved.
“You know the only reason I’m here tonight is because of Jimin and Tae.” You snap.
He rolls his eyes before caging you into the sink, and you realise that your skirt is still lifted up—wetness sticking your thighs together in an uncomfortable way that makes you wince.
“And where are they now?” He sneers, looking at you in a mocking manner.
You clench your fists by your side and try to look brave in front of Jungkook. There was no reason why he had this effect on you when you were older than him when he used to worship the ground you walked on when you were children. Now that the tables were turned you had no clue how to navigate it.
“They’re—they’re …” You appeal helplessly, “Does it matter?”
Jungkook tongues the inside of his cheek in a way that you noted came from a childhood habit turned attractive, and you hate yourself even more for feeling your heart flutter.
“That’s what I thought.” Jungkook snorts.
He pushes himself off the sink and away from you, and you unconsciously find yourself chasing him. Jungkook notices this but chooses to just smirk at you. You try to glare at him and convince both of you that you didn’t want him, that you wouldn’t come back.
But when Jungkook cups your jaw with his right hand and brings his lips to yours before he leaves, you know that choice was never yours, to begin with.
Sana approaches you out of the blue after one of your lectures and you know something is up when her eyebrows are raised.
“Hey, ____!”
You turn around, nearly slamming into her when she steadies herself, eyes inquisitive with a knowing smile that you don’t like.
Sana was one of those people in college that you were friends with purely for convenience. She was in a few of your lectures and somehow always ended up in your group during projects; so it was strategic for you to maintain an amicable relationship with her.
You thought you could see yourself being good friends with her, but she was far too extroverted and involved in campus affairs. Not that was a bad thing—but it was bad for your social ineptness and lack of engagement in social settings. And the fact that wherever she went, gossip seemed to follow.
“Sana.” You greet with a small smile.
She nudges your shoulders before the two of you fall into similar steps as you make your way out of the lecture hall.
“How have you been?” You know it’s small talk and that she’s easing you in, which only settles the anxiety further at the pit of your stomach.
“I’ve been busy.” You shrug, “Mid-terms are around the corner.”
She snorts, “By corner you mean two months down the road and you’re just being an overachiever?”
You blush at being called out and you know she meant no ill-intent. She laughs at your reaction while you offer her a sheepish smile in return.
“It’s always good to be prepared.”
She nods her head as the two of you approach the outdoor student lounge where a few other college kids were either dozing off or typing away on their laptops for last-minute assignments.
“So I heard …” Sana trails off and you sigh knowingly, already somewhat prepared.
“You heard …?” You parrot.
“You and Jeon are close, right?”
You stop in your tracks when you hear his name, as you feel her stop right behind you while you tuck your laptop to your chest.
“J-Jeon?”
Sana nods when you turn around to face her. You hope she isn’t as observant as you think she is because your face is undoubtedly red right now.
“Yeah. Jungkook.” She reaffirms.
“We’re … we grew up together.” You tell her, “With Jimin and Taehyung.”
You made sure to include your other two friends because you didn’t like where the conversation was going, and you needed to ensure there was some form of distance established between you and Jungkook, not wanting to further entangle yourself with him than you already are.
She raises an eyebrow, “So you’re close?”
You shrug your shoulders.
“I guess you could say that. We went to the same high school so it was natural for our paths to cross.”
Sana nods her head slowly as if processing the information.
“Why—”
“But you’re older than him, right?” She asks with a tilt of her head.
You blink at her, then you nod. Redness on your cheeks already appearing.
“Yeah. B-But … I mean by only two years. It’s not like that’s a lot.” You say defensively.
You weren’t sure why you felt the need to clarify that because there was no reason why Sana needed to know that you were just two years older than Jungkook. It was the type of information that was unnecessary and redundant given that she clearly pointed out the fact you were older.
Sana hums before looking at you with knowing eyes, but you try to pretend like you don’t see it.
“And you’ve never fooled around before?”
Her question makes you choke and causes heat to rapidly rush to your cheeks.
“What?” You cry, “Of course not!”
Sana looks at you dryly before schooling herself with a neutral smile.
“None at all?” She pries, “But he’s so hot?”
You roll your eyes, already wanting to leave the conversation, knowing it wasn’t the wisest decision to have allowed it to prolong this far after Jungkook’s name was brought up.
“He’s like a litter brother to me.” You snap.
You hate that you know you’re lying through your teeth because you would have not let a little brother do the things Jungkook has done to you.
Sana nods, sides of her lips twitching upwards at your answer.
You sigh, “What is this about?”
She waves you off.
“Just wanted to know if he was single.”
You raise an eyebrow, heart nearly stopping at the insinuation.
“Okay …?”
Sana smiles up at you like she wasn’t interrogating you on your apparent relationship with Jungkook, a young boy turned bad with the realism of college-hood and social interactions that you can’t even compare him to the boy you knew from high school; all awkward and limbs.
“My friend’s asking. You know Jennie?”
You almost turn pale. Because of course, you know Jennie because she’s beautiful, popular, outgoing and everything that you weren’t; and everything Jungkook should’ve liked—and you were sure he did.
“Y-Yeah.” You stutter.
“She always thought you two were together so she never made her move. At least I can tell her that isn’t the case.” Sana chirps.
“Y-Yeah … you can.” You mumble, eyes looking away and the only thing plaguing your mind is the visual of Jennie and Jungkook together.
“But I always did try to tell her that she was in her head about the two of you.” Sana laughs.
You turn around, and your heart knows you should keep your mouth shut but you were always too curious for your own good.
“Oh?” You furrow your eyebrows.
“Yeah.” Sana shrugs, “I mean. You’re top of the class, Ms. Student President and always put together. And not to say Jungkook isn’t but … he’s not exactly like you, you know?”
You know that. Because every time you look at old pictures of you and Jungkook you already felt the disparity, the clear-cut chase that he was at the top of the food chain while you were always left with the leftovers. You weren’t the type of girl that hung around Jungkook’s circle and he wasn’t the type of person you would hang out with.
The two of you weren’t young anymore and Jimin and Taehyung weren’t able to be that bridge between the both of you either. You and Jungkook were so drastically different and it scared you because you remember a time where you thought he was the endgame.
“I guess you’re right.” You say softly.
“Anyways. Sorry for bothering you!” Sana smiles before tugging her bag over her shoulder and offering you a small wave before she darts off in the other direction.
You’re left standing in the middle of the lounge with a heavier sense of dread on your shoulders, and the image of Jennie in your mind. She’s pretty. And you bet she’s nice too, but fun enough for Jungkook to want. Nothing like you.
But you shake your head off with the thoughts. You didn’t even deserve to think about this because Jungkook was never yours. Even if he tempts you with his words and his scalding touch, you were just someone familiar to him.
He didn’t want you.
You purse your lips and will yourself not to shed a tear in public, so you quickly turn on your heel to head towards the library; where the world is a lot quieter.
“Did you see this?” Jimin leans closer to shove his phone in front of your face.
You frown and ignore him, but he’s like an annoying brother who won’t budge when he waves the device even more.
“What?” You snap, eyes shut in irritation.
“Damn. Who pissed in your cereal?” Jimin mutters.
You roll your eyes and sigh, looking at him with a softer expression.
“Sorry.” You wince, “I just had a bad day and … I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have unloaded it on you.”
Jimin smiles at you pitifully before turning to face you, placing his phone downwards on the table.
“You wanna talk about it?”
You think about what’s been bothering you and you can only think of Jungkook. How he pretended like he didn’t know you after he fingered you in the bathroom at a party. How Sana didn’t think you and Jungkook were possible. How Jennie was interested and she was gorgeous. How Jungkook would be too.
“Nah.” You wave him off, forcing a smile that doesn’t reach your eyes.
Jimin eyes you sceptically but you rest a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
“You sure?”
You nod, before cocking your head to his phone.
“What did you want to show me?”
He blinks at his phone and then picks it up, already in a different mood when he opens his device to his Instagram page.
“Did you know Kook and Jennie were a thing?” Is the first thing you hear after Jimin shows you a video that makes your heart drop into your stomach.
It’s Jungkook—and Jennie.
But that’s not it.
They’re kissing, quite passionately and people are egging them on when Jungkook slips a leg between her thighs while he cradles her face against his own. You see people cheering and hollering when Jungkook slips his tongue into her mouth, and Jennie smiling against the kiss.
It was at the party. The party where he fingered you and kissed you on the lips before he proceeded to pretend like he didn’t know you and disappear.
You wonder how you missed all of that.
“______?” Jimin calls out to you.
You blink up at him before he looks at you with a confused yet concerned expression.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” He asks.
You clear the lump in your throat, and your point is proven. They do look good together.
“I-I …” You mumble, “Yeah. I’m okay.”
Jimin doesn’t believe you and he sets his phone down, but before he can say anything a new figure joins you at the table by slamming their stuff down.
When you look up, you see Jungkook—and it hurts so badly when you recognise his cocksure smirk with his eyes trained on your face.
“What are the two of you whispering about?” He snorts, settling into his seat.
Before Jimin can say anything, you push yourself up abruptly that startles both Jimin and Jungkook.
“I have to go.” You blurt.
Jimin furrows his eyebrows, “Are you really okay—”
“Yes.” You say tightly, packing your belongings as quickly as you can without sparing Jungkook another glance.
“You’re not even going to say hi?” Jungkook asks, and if you were in a better headspace then you’d hear the slight irritation in his tone.
You purse your lips, but still, keep your eyes away from him. You don’t respond to him, and neither do you flatter Jimin’s concerned stare.
But before you can leave, Jimin grabs your wrist and your breath hitches, head-turning slowly to face him while you ignore Jungkook’s heavy gaze on you.
“Text me?” He says softly.
You knew from Jimin’s eyes that he’s worried, and you felt slightly guilty for leaving him behind like this when you promised him to study. But you couldn’t be around Jungkook right now. Not when your mind was everywhere and you were confused about everything.
Not when the video exists.
“I will.” You reply, equally as soft.
You tug your hands away and don’t spare Jungkook another glance before you’re rushing out of the library, the lump in your throat more apparent than ever.

You wake up sweaty and tangled in the limbs of two very large men. At first it was disorienting, and there was a brief moment of panic before the memories of the previous night flooded your sleep-drowsy brain. Then you were stuck trying to figure out a way to escape the elaborate trap of sleeping hulks. You managed to wriggle out by their feet, mildly aware of the dull throbbing that pulsed through your legs, abdomen, and lower back.
Standing up and walking turned out to be a lot easier than you’d anticipated, which was a plus. So you slipped on your panties and one of the boys’ t-shirts, pulled the door open and went to go use the bathroom. As you quietly searched through the kitchen to make breakfast, you heard the bedroom door creak open and two sets of heavy footsteps make their way to the kitchen.
You turned to them and greeted them, and they leaned down and wrapped their arms around you, squishing you between them once again. Eijiro was the first to start whining like a child, “(y/n) let’s go back to beeeeed~” he groaned into your ear, nuzzling his nose into your neck. Katsuki grunted his approval, earning raised eyebrows from you. Katsuki was always up early, and always blasted the other out of bed, so him actively wanting to go back in between the sheets was shocking.
But, you were already wide awake, so you wriggled out of their grasp and pecked each one on the cheek. “You two can go back to bed, and I’ll come get you when breakfast is done, okay?” you proposed, stepping toward the fridge. Before you could get even a couple feet away, one of the two grabbed you by the waist and threw you over their shoulder.
You yelped at the movement and craned your neck, catching the spiky blonde hair at your waist. “Put me down ‘Suki!” you squealed and slapped his back. He grunted a low ‘no’ before tightening his grip on your waist. You rolled your eyes and got a devious look in your eyes. Without warning, you leaned forward, farther down his back, raised your hand, and smacked his ass as hard as you could.
That got his attention. He froze in place, and you could feel all the muscles in his arm seize. You couldn’t tell if it was from anger or shock, but you found out rather quickly when he threw you onto the couch and hunched over you, growling at you with narrowed eyes. Yeah, this was one of the few times you truly felt your size. Despite the shiver crawling up your spine, you stared right back at him and squeaked out, “I told you to put me down…”
He rolled his eyes and stood up straight. “You’re a fucking brat”. It was your turn to roll your eyes, and you had to bite your tongue to comment about him being an oversized angry pomeranian. But you weren’t ready to die at the hands of Ground Zero just yet. Kirishima was quiet through the whole scene, and suddenly spoke up. “Well since we’re all awake, I’m gonna head to the store and pick up some morning after pills for (y/n)”.
That was both the rudest and sweetest thing you’d ever heard. You giggled at the fact that he was thinking about you and your body’s repercussions from the night before, but said it out loud in such a blunt manner. But you stopped him before he could move. “It’s fine, Ei, you don’t have to worry about that. I’m on birth control”. You knew that was a lie. You weren’t on birth control. You also knew you didn’t need it. But they didn’t need to know that. Not yet.
As quickly as possible, you changed the subject. “So since we’re all up, what’s for breakfast?”. The three of you then began to contemplate the contents of the fridge and pantry, deciding cereal would be fine since you were all too lazy to cook anything.

Almost a year had passed since you started dating the two heroes, and life couldn’t be better. Along with the Saturday meetups, they often took you on dinner and lunch dates. Katsuki was less affectionate in public, choosing to hold hands at most, but Eijiro was cuddly no matter what, and he loved showering you with attention. You guessed it was because of the fact that Katsuki didn’t do anything with him in public, so now he had a subject to pour his affection into. The angry blonde didn’t seem to mind at all.
Media coverage got testy because they’d see you out with one or the other, so scandals brewed about for the first couple weeks. You chose to ignore it, knowing that eventually you’d be caught with both of them at the same time. Lo and behold, the scandal was really just a misunderstood romance, and the tabloids eventually dropped the subject of your relationship like it was last week’s news.
On one of your dates, they’d brought up the subject of living with them, and you happily accepted. It was great living with them. The sex was amazing, there were cuddles galore, and if you ever needed space they happily obliged. Katsuki was almost always in the kitchen, and Eijiro would sometimes snuggle him as he hunched over the stove. You couldn’t help smiling at the two. They were so adorable like that, and it made you happy that your two favorite people in the world loved each other so fully.
You had already discussed your trust issues with both of them, so they understood your reluctance to use the ‘L’ word with them. They never pressured you to do anything you didn’t want to, and they were happy to let you adjust to them. As you got closer, you felt your heart swelling at the sight of either of them, no matter what they were doing. You could stare at them all day and never get tired of them. They were nothing short of beautiful, and if you could spend the rest of eternity just looking at them it’d be too soon.
Being the gentlemen they are, they never asked for any detail regarding your unsavoury past, and if you avoided the topic like the plague, they did too. You often ended up asking them about their days at UA, and they’d go off rambling about their high school days, remembering details like it was yesterday. You loved when they were passionately recalling and recounting all the adventures they had, and the trials life threw at them. They actually panicked when you started crying the first time they talked about the USJ incident in their first year. They had no idea what they said to make you so sad, but you had to explain to them your extremely empathetic heart and how it only got worse when it was the people you cared about.
For the first time in a long time, you felt like life was perfect. You were so, so happy with them. You felt like you’d known them forever, and at the same time you were questioning where they’d been your whole life. You were opening up to them, and they made it easy for you to do so. And you hadn’t noticed just how much you’d healed from your emotional past until one glorious morning.
You’d been called in to patrol, and the two had the day off. Katsuki, as always, made breakfast before you’d even woken up. The three of you ate in bliss, and you quickly got changed into your hero costume once you’d cleared your plate. Just like you always did when you were parting ways, you kissed them both on the cheek and walked to the door to pull on your boots.
As you reached for the door handle, you let the words slip past your lips without a second thought. “I’ll be back around 7 tonight. I love you”. You didn’t quite register what you’d said until you looked back at the two men and saw them staring at you, wide-eyed and frozen in place. You tilted your head in confusion, but suddenly gasped at the realization. “Oh my god… I’m so sorry, I wasn’t thinking-” you were cut off by two large bodies crushing you between them, soft whimpers and sobs coming from both of them, warm tears falling onto your shoulders.
Eijiro pulled away to smother you in kisses, and Katsuki whispered into your ear, “We love you too princess. So much”. You melted into their affection, adoring how natural it felt to tell them how much you loved them and never wanting to let go. Unfortunately, your phone buzzed, bringing your attention back to the reason you were in your hero costume by the door.
“Okay you two, I gotta go. I’ll be back tonight and we can talk or cuddle or whatever. Deal?” They both pulled away, wiping away their tears, and chanted back “deal” in perfect unison.
You were grateful your patrol was villain-free the entire day. You knew you’d be fine if a villain were to pop up, but you just didn’t want to spoil your good mood. Your mind swam with thoughts, wondering what you’d talk about once you get back home, how weird it was to see Katsuki so emotional, how far you’d opened back up since meeting the duo. And the second you’d changed back into civilian clothes you bolted home.
Standing at the door, you took a deep breath to calm your bouncing nerves. They weren’t bad nerves, you were just excited, in a way. You were accepting the feelings you felt toward the two men in your life, fully acknowledging the feeling was undeniably love. You stepped into the apartment and were greeted with smothering kisses and hugs. Eijiro peppered your face with kisses, making you giggle, while Katsuki just held you from behind, squeezing you tight and nuzzling into your neck.
“Hi my big babies. I missed you today” you confessed. The kisses ceased just long enough for Eijiro to reply with a quick, “We missed you too little pebble”, before going back in and attacking you with kisses. You grabbed his face and held him still, giving him a sweet kiss on the lips before smiling at him. “Relax, Ei. I can feel you shaking” you giggled. He looked so happy, like a puppy that saw his human for the first time in weeks. It was adorable and it melted your heart.
Katsuki refused to waste any more time, and lifted you up in a princess carry. You ended up in a bed, with two large bodies squishing you between them. The warmth from their bodies soothed you, and you relaxed into the bed. Soon enough you were all talking about random things. Somehow, though, the conversation ended up in the one place you really didn’t want it to go.
The subject of children popped up after talking about an adorable child you witnessed smelling a flower out on patrol. You kept gushing about how cute kids are, their squishy chubby cheeks and pudgy little hands grabbing at everything in sight. And Eijiro wondered out loud what it would be like to have little mini-versions of the three of you running around. At that you went dead silent.
Your breath hitched in your throat and you squeezed your eyes shut and clenched your jaw, not prepared for this conversation. You knew it would happen eventually, in fact you’d thought about it a lot since your first night with the men. But there was only one way out of this conversation without lying to them or hurting them worse than the truth could. So, after nearly a minute of silence, you took a deep breath and sat up. “I think we should take this conversation to the kitchen table. I need to tell you something important”. They agree, a bit confused at the sudden serious tone of your voice.
As they settled into their chairs, you put on a pot of tea and let silence fall over the room. It was quiet while the tea brewed, while you poured three cups, and as you sat in your own chair in between your boys. “So… Eijiro brought up the thought of having kids earlier”. Eijiro quickly interjected, “It’s fine if you don’t want kids! It was just a random thought!”. You smiled softly and shook your head, “Just listen, Ei”. He nodded slowly, giving you the space to talk.
You took a deep breath and a sip of your tea. “I knew kids would come up eventually. And I won’t lie to you, I’ve imagined far enough into the future that the thought of raising children with my beautiful boyfriends has crossed my mind more times than I can count”. You blushed a little at the confession, the two looking at you with raised eyebrows, but still silent to let you talk.
“The night you confessed to me, the first night we spent together. The next day Ei offered to go get me morning after pills. I told him not to worry because I’m on birth control. But I lied”. Now they looked at you completely baffled. But, they still remained silent, focused on you so you could explain further.
“There’s no easy way to say this” you knitted your eyebrows together and swallowed hard, “I can’t have kids”. Your hands were shaking around the teacup. You took another deep breath and stared into the tea, not wanting to look up at the faces of the loves of your life. “There was an… accident… when I was younger. I’m physically incapable of ever having children of my own”. The last sentence was nearly a whisper as you tried to hold back tears.
A large hand took the teacup from your trembling fingers. Eijiro and Katsuki took each of your hands into their own, squeezing them tight. You finally look up at your boyfriends, who looked back at you with nothing but love. The tears you willed not to spill began pouring down your cheeks, and the two brought you into a comforting hug. They let you cry until your chest burned and your eyes wouldn’t produce anymore salty tears.
As your hiccups calmed, they moved. Katsuki took the teacups to the sink as Eijiro carried you back to bed. They curled up around you, holding you tight between them. They reassured you that they loved you no matter what, and that if you really wanted kids in the future, there were many other options. They hushed you to sleep, whispering sweet words in your ears as you drifted.

It’s officially been five years with your two gorgeous boyfriends. The three of you bought rings three years in. You didn’t mind that there was no official ceremony, or official marriage, as long as you had each other. And that’s how life was, the three of you loving each other and working as pro heroes. Things got a bit scary a couple times, when there were major villain attacks and one of you ended up in the hospital. But all in all, the past five years were the best years of your life.
Today was a special day, you could just feel it. You breezed through your routine of getting ready to go out on patrol, and left the house. Your patrol route was relatively incident-free through lunch. It was around 2 in the afternoon when things got intense.
As you strolled down the street, you felt tremors in the ground. At first you’d thought it was an earthquake, but you realized the tremors were steady, short, and getting stronger. They were footsteps. And whatever was making them was giant. You instantly materialized Eraserhead’s capture weapon and swung yourself up along the power lines and ran above the streets, following the tremors. As you turned the corner, you saw him. Easily 30 feet tall (9 meters) and his shoulders were wide enough he nearly took out the buildings on either side of him as he walked.
Damn, where was Mount Lady when you needed her? You had no way to take care of this on your own. But you settled for trying to lead him away from the city. You jumped into action, throwing things to get his attention. Once you had it, you swung for the park that was a few blocks down. You passed by a few other heroes on your way, and you materialized and threw walkie talkies down at them. “I’m leading him to the park, away from the buildings. Clear the street and then help me take him down”. They instantly began clearing pedestrians from the street, and a few went ahead to the park to clear the civilians out.
You reached the park, the giant close behind, and you led him to the middle of the field, finally away from anything he could topple. You spun around to face him, and the other heroes arrived seconds later, ready to pounce. Looking around, you noticed a couple had flying quirks or something of the like. You also noticed top heroes. Shouto, quirks fire and ice, Uravity, levitation quirk, Creati, creation quirk, and none other than your boyfriends, Red Riot and Ground Zero.
You spoke into the walkie talkie, the other heroes still holding theirs. “Shouto, freeze him in place” He did exactly that, giving you time to explain the plan you’d formed in your head. “Alright, listen up. He’ll break out of that ice soon, so here’s what’s gonna happen. Creati, I need you to make the longest, thickest chain you can as fast as possible. Start now. Ground Zero and Red Riot, you cover Creati. Uravity, I need you to make this giant levitate as soon as he breaks free and hold it as long as you can. When that happens, the two with the flying quirks carry him up 100 feet (30 meters) in the air and not any higher. Once Uravity’s quirk wears off, let him drop. He’ll probably land on his feet, but when he does, I’ll grab one of his ankles and throw him off balance. Once he falls, I need Shouto to freeze him again, and by that time the chain should be done. Once he’s down, we wrap him in the chain and he’ll be immobilized. Is everyone ready?”
You got a resounding ‘Ready!’ through the walkie, and no sooner than you did, the giant managed to break free. You all sprung into action, and the plan went smoothly. Soon the giant was immobilized in the middle of the field, wrapped in the chain Creati made. She was nearing her limit, and so was Uravity, but they assured you they’d be okay. The police had shown up just as the fight ended, and they had quirk-cancelling gear, and once the giant was normal sized again, he was hauled off to the station.
You and the other heroes gathered together, and Eijiro and Katsuki instantly swarmed you, checking if you were alright and smothering you in kisses and hugs. You assured them you were fine, and once they let you go you addressed the other top heroes. “Thank you guys for trusting me enough to follow my plan. And I’m sorry to put such a strain on Uravity and Creati, but you were crucial parts of the plan, so thank you for pushing yourselves”.
Creati spoke first, “Of course sweetie! It’s not that bad, I’ll be just fine! And that was a brilliant plan!” Uravity spoke next, “Yeah! How’d you get that out so fast? And where did the walkies go? And how did you use Aizawa-Sensei’s scarf? It came out of nowhere!” Shouto butted in, “Yes, your plan was thorough. And about the scarf, where were you storing it?” You stopped them all, the praise and questions getting a bit overwhelming, but you answered them all one by one, and explained your quirk to them.
All the while, you couldn’t see Ground Zero and Red Riot beaming behind you, pride radiating off their bodies. Suddenly you felt a large arm around your shoulders, “Leave her alone, you extras. She doesn’t need to talk to you” Katsuki growled at them. You narrowed your eyes and formed a plan instantly. You knew he was just proud and jealous, but you didn’t need your boyfriend to be rude to the other top heroes.
You grabbed his wrist and ducked under his arm, twisting it so it was behind his back. Then you swung your leg around his ankle and pushed forward on his back, sending him face first into the grass, and you grabbed his other arm and pulled it behind his back so he couldn’t push himself up. You knew he’d never use his quirk on you, but just in case, you materialized quirk-cancelling cuffs and cuffed him behind his back.
You stood up beside him, one foot still on his back, smiling at the others who were stunned in place. All except Eijiro, who was rolling on the ground laughing. “I’m sorry for his behavior, he’s a little rough around the edges” you apologized quickly. You didn’t realize they all went to the same school. Shouto was the first to inform you, “It’s alright, we know he’s a handful. We were all in the same class at UA, so we’re used to his temper” He glanced down at Katsuki, who was now growling up at you.
Uravity started giggling, “Wow, nobody’s ever been able to take Bakugou down like that without coming out of it with burns!” You smiled at that, understanding the situation. You bent down and released Katsuki, who grabbed your wrist and yanked you close, so your noses almost touched. He was pissed off, and he growled as he spoke, “You’re in trouble you brat” You looked him in the eyes and gave him a wicked sadistic grin, “Is that a challenge, Suki?” His face dropped, and he paled a little.
You’d only made that face once before, and it ended with him cocooned in your capture weapon, quirk-cancelling cuffs on him, completely immobilized on the couch of your apartment for an entire day, you and Eijiro feeding him when he got hungry, but otherwise completely neglecting and ignoring him. At the end of it, he was apologizing and cuddling you, and you promised that if you ever had to do that again, it would be a lot worse. He knew he deserved it that time, and he wasn’t about to make that mistake again.
He swallowed thickly, and let go of your wrist. You got up on your tiptoes and leaned close to his ear and whispered so only he could hear you. “I know I embarrassed you a little bit and I’m sorry about that, but you don’t get to decide who I talk to, and you don’t get to punish me like a child when I don’t do what you like. Understand?” He swallowed again and nodded. You stood up and smiled at him. “Good” you reached up and pecked him on his cheek. When you turned back to the others, they were gawking again. Shouto was the first to break out of his shock and he spoke up. “You’re scary”.
You chuckled at his comment. Eijiro comes up and hugs you. “Yeah, she can be scary. Isn’t it great? She only ever got mad at Katsuki once though, and it whipped him into shape fast”. The conversation died down quickly after that, and you all went your separate ways. You told Katsuki and Eijiro to go ahead of you and you’d meet them there, you were going to do a sweep of the area to make sure nobody was hurt. You knew the police and a few other pros did that already, but you just wanted to be sure, because you can miss things sometimes.
Your two boyfriends left for the agency, and you began to search the empty park. You were about ¾ done when you heard it. A baby, and it was crying. You froze in place, and began to gauge where it was coming from, following it to a small patch of forest. It was close. You searched around the foliage until you came to a small bundle, covered in dirt. The bundle was completely wrapped, the cries muffled. You quickly picked up the bundle, unwrapping it completely, and tears ran down your face at the sight.
The child was completely nude underneath, save for a diaper, and their little limbs were stuck against their body and turning blue from lack of blood, clearly from being swaddled so tightly. You materialized your corset and lay it down, and you placed the child on the cape, using it as a blanket. You needed to get the blood flowing back into their limbs, so you gently massaged the little limbs and stretched them little by little until there was color in their skin again. You ripped the cape off the corset body and loosely wrapped the child to carry it to the nearest hospital.
The nurses took the baby and assured you that it would be okay. They let you stay with the baby while they contacted the police to figure out if anybody was missing a baby. You called Katsuki and Eijiro to meet you at the hospital, and they were there in minutes, panicked at why you were there. You explained what happened, and they calmed after cursing whoever would leave a baby out there to die. Soon you had to leave the baby at the hospital. They would take care of the baby until they could find the parents.
You went back every day for an entire week. They had taken blood for a dna match, but nothing came up. Whoever the parents were, they weren’t in the system, meaning they were most likely either criminals or villains. Of course. Soon they were looking to find orphanages that could take the child. But you couldn’t just let him get put into foster care. You’d gotten attached to him. So, you went home with a mission in mind.
When you got home, dinner was ready. You ate, subtly bringing up the baby when you could. Your boyfriends didn’t seem to catch on, which was both good and bad. After dinner, you kept them at the table to discuss exactly what was on your mind.
“So, do you remember the conversation we had a few years back, about me not being able to have kids?” They both nodded. “Well, I’ve been thinking. About the child I found at the park. They want to put him in foster care, because they can’t find the parents” You looked up at your boyfriends, who were looking at you intently. You couldn’t quite read their expressions, so you continued. “I won’t lie, I got attached to the child. And I was thinking a lot, and I wanted to ask you two if we could...adopt him”
The silence was deafening, but as you looked at your boyfriends, their expressions changed. Eijiro had the biggest grin you’d ever seen, and Kastuki had a genuine smile on his face for the first time. They both choked on their tears, and nodded furiously. “Of course, princess. We’d love to adopt the boy” Katsuki said. Now it was your turn to cry. You were going to start a family.
Not a week later, you had an early retirement, deciding your job as a pro hero could wait, and the little baby boy you’d found in the forest had a brand new home with you and your boyfriends. But you couldn’t call them your boyfriends anymore, no. They were your husbands, official or not, and they were the fathers to your adopted child. And they vowed to protect him with their lives.
You watched from the doorway as the two ogled over the baby, making faces and letting him grab their fingers, and you settled into your happy life with your three babies. The three loves of your life.

On the Visible and the Invisible — Part 3
That which is apparent merely to our senses, leads to opinion and error; while that which is apparent to our reason, leads to knowledge and truth, if we allow the light of intuition to shine upon it, and trace everything back to its first cause. This is the only way of knowing; and knowing, is seeing, and bringing into the field of our inner vision the very Ideas, the pure intelligible forms of real beings, such as they truly are – simple and unadorned, and yet vastly more beautiful, wise and good than anything we can conceive of in this sublunary sphere of illusory appearances; the sphere of material reflections, shadows and delineations. Truth needs no ornament, and true Beauty, which guards its secret haunts, is no mere adornment, but a divine expression of symmetry, harmony and order, such as exceeds all material conceptions of man, and which is inherent in the divine cause of all being. How far removed it is from all those shadowy reflections, cast by the narrow band of visible light upon the surface of material objects, which thus present themselves to the limited perception of our physical sight! Just like the light of our material sun is but an echo, and a far cry, of the lucid splendour of intelligible Light, and its majestic Word.
It is an old adage that “they who do not feel the darkness will never look for the Light”. Opinion is a treasured possession to most men, and it is the great impostor who gives us the false comfort of possessing a vestige of truth, while, in fact, we may be harbouring its very opposite. We must first realise our ignorance before we can begin our search for truth; we must remove the blinds from our eyes to let the true light shine through. That which is stored in the depths of our soul, can be brought out again at any time, and become the object of vision to the inner eye of the thinking entity: because our soul contains within itself all the reasons of the Universe, and it has the power to unfold them into light; to make the invisible – visible. It likewise contains the stored thoughts and memories of all our previous lives, making, as one thinker has put it, the stream or thread of a life’s meditation. If memory is but a stability of knowledge, what vast treasures must lie dormant in the deep recesses of our own psychic nature! What a different and more expansive vision of life, and of the Universe itself, such considerations suggest to our minds! The invisible is no longer something vague, slender, indefinite – it becomes the province of real power, the naked field of reality freed from the accretions of illusion and error, and filled with vibrant, exalted forms.
But how to attain to that pure vision of Truth and Beauty? We must first, in the words of Proclus, enter into the ineffable sanctuary of our own nature, there to find a symbol of the Father of all; a divine ray of light, participated from the source of all Beauty and all Goodness, by the virtue of which our soul can behold and unite itself with its divine cause, and attain to a pure vision of the intelligible realm, full of splendour, wisdom, and peace, such as transcends all mere imagination of man. There we shall see clearly, and our seeing will be hallowed with such Light as no material eye of man can endure, a darkness to our physical senses, a bright effulgence of Truth to the inner eye of our soul.
Such is the province of the invisible.

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh): The Battle of Uhud and Afterwards
Hazrat Aisha is in her Mother’s Home
When Hazrat Aisha was ill, Umm Ruman, her mother, looked after her.
One day, the Messenger of God entered the house, greeted them and asked, “How is your patient?” without mentioning Aisha’s name. He did not say anything else.
Hazrat Aisha said,
“(Thereupon) I could not help saying, ‘O Messenger of God! I have been suffering so much. Will you let me go to my Mother’s house? I can be looked after there.’
The Messenger of God said, ‘You may go!’
I wanted to go to my parents and find out about the news against me.
The Messenger of God sent me to my father’s house with a servant.
My mum asked, ‘O my daughter! Why did you come?’
I said, ‘Mum! People have been talking against me but you did not mention anything to me.’
Mum said, ‘My daughter, take it easy. By God, it hardly occurs that a wife is so beloved to her husband, and she has co-wives at the same time, except that they talk about her!’
I asked, ‘Does my father know about it?’ She said,
‘Yes, he does.’
I asked, ‘Does the Messenger of God know about it?’ She said,
‘Yes, he does.’
I could not help crying.
My father was reading the Quran upstairs. When he heard my voice, he came downstairs. He asked Mum, ‘What is wrong with her?’
Mum said, ‘She heard about the rumors against him.’
My father started to cry too.
I cried and cried until the morning came.”
The Prophet Consults his Companions
The Messenger of God spent most of his time at home and did not go out very often during the days when the slander against Hazrat Aisha was prevalent.
When revelation regarding the issue was delayed, he talked to his Companions and asked them about their views.
Hazrat Umar’s View
Hazrat Umar said, “O Messenger of God! This is a big slander. I definitely know that it is a lie of the munafiqs. God protects you even from flies. Is it possible that God, who protects your body from flies that land on dirt and keeps them away from your body, will not protect your family from such disgrace?”
Hazrat Uthman’s View
Hazrat Uthman expressed his view as follows:
“O Messenger of God! God protects your shadow from being on the ground so that people will not step on it or dirt will not land on it. Is it possible that God, who does not let anybody step on your shadow, will let anybody blemish the honor of your family?”
Hazrat Ali’s View
Hazrat Ali said, “O Messenger of God! Once, you were leading the prayer. You took off your shoes. We took off our shoes following you. When you finished the prayer, you asked us why we had taken off our shoes. We said we had taken them off to follow you. Thereupon, you said, ‘Gabriel ordered me to take them off because they were not clean.’ Is it possible that you were informed about the dirt that polluted your shoes and you were ordered to take them off but you would not be ordered to remove something that blemished your honor?”
The View of Hazrat Aisha’s Maid
Meanwhile, the Messenger of God called Aisha’s maid servant, Barira, and asked her view.
Barira said, “O Messenger of God! I swear by God, who has sent you as the true prophet that I have not seen anything from her but goodness. I can only say one thing that can be regarded as a fault about her: one thing. She was a young girl. She sometimes used to fall asleep when she was kneading the dough; and when she fell asleep, the lamb would come and eat the dough.”
Hazrat Zaynab’s View
Hazrat Zaynab regarded herself equal to Hazrat Aisha among the wives of the Prophet in terms of her beauty and position; she always competed with her. However, she did not have any negative thoughts about Hazrat Aisha. When the Messenger of God asked her about her view, she said,
“O Messenger of God! I protect my ears from saying, ‘I heard’ what I did not hear and my eyes from saying, ‘I saw’ what I did not see. I do not know anything but goodness about her.”
The Prophet’s Speech
In fact, the Messenger of God knew very well that Aisha, his wife, was free from such slander; however, he was depressed that such treacherous, sly and planned slander spread among people. It made him change his attitude toward her. As a matter of fact, the speech that he made in the mosque expressed it clearly:
“Oh gathering of Muslims! Who will help me against a person who has hurt me with slander about my wife? By God, I only know good about my wife. And they have mentioned a man with her concerning whom I only know good of as well.”
The Prophet Talks to Hazrat Aisha
Although about a month passed after the slander against Hazrat Aisha, no revelation was sent down to the Messenger of God.
A few days after his speech in the mosque, the Prophet went to Hazrat Abu Bakr’s house. After greeting them, he sat next to Aisha and said, “O Aisha! I have heard such and such things about you. If you are free and away from those accusations, God will state that you are free and away from them. If you have committed such a sin, ask forgiveness from God and repent to Him. When a slave confesses his/her sin and repents, God treats him/her with mercy.”
Hazrat Aisha narrates her mood at that time as follows:
“When the Messenger of God (pbuh) ended his words, my tears dried. There was not even one drop coming out of my eyes.
I turned to my father and said to him, ’Answer the Messenger of God on behalf of me.’
My father said, ‘O my daughter! By God, I do not know what to say the Messenger of God (pbuh).’
Then, I turned to my mother and said to her, ’Answer the Messenger of God on behalf of me.’
She said, ‘By God, I do not know what to say the Messenger of God (pbuh), either’.”
Hazrat Aisha’s Answer
Hazrat Aisha’s father and mother did not answer the Messenger of God; so she had to speak. After uttering kalima ash-shahada and praising God Almighty, she said, “By God, I know that you have heard these rumors, and you look as if you have believed them. So, if I were to tell you that I am not guilty, – God knows that I am not – you would not believe me. And if I were to tell you I did something bad, – God knows that I did not – you would readily believe me! So, all I can say to you for my and your situation is the story of Jacob (pbuh) with his sons. At that time, he said, ‘(For me) patience is most fitting: against that which ye assert, it is God (alone) whose help can be sought.’”
Revelation is Sent down to the Prophet
The Messenger of God had not stood up yet. Nobody from the household had gone out. Revelation was sent down to the Prophet there. Hazrat Aisha narrated the incident as follows:
“The Messenger of God showed the signs of receiving revelation like sweating due to the difficulty and intensity of the revelation. As a matter of fact, he would have beads of sweat like pearls during revelation even on a winter day. They covered the body of the Messenger of God (pbuh) and put a pillow under his head. I was neither afraid nor worried. I knew that I was innocent and that God would not treat me unjustly. My parents were very scared because they were worried that the rumors would be confirmed by God.”
When the state of revelation ended, the Messenger of God was smiling happily. He said to Aisha, “Glad tidings O Aisha! God acquitted you and stated that you were free and away from that slander.”
Hazrat Abu Bakr became very happy. He stood up and kissed her daughter’s head.
The Verses that were Sent down
God Almighty stated the following in the verses that He sent to His Messenger regarding the issue:
“Those who brought forward the lie are a body among yourselves: think it not to be an evil to you: on the contrary it is good for you: to every man among them (will come the punishment) of the sin that he earned and to him who took on himself the lead among them will be a Penalty grievous.
Why did not Believers, men and women when ye heard of the affair― put the best construction on it in their own minds and say "This (charge) is an obvious lie"?
Why did they not bring four witnesses, to prove it? When they have not brought the witnesses such men in the sight of God, (stand forth) themselves as liars!
Were it not for the grace and mercy of God on you, in this world and the Hereafter, a grievous penalty would have seized you in that ye rushed glibly into this affair.
Behold ye received it on your tongues and said out of your mouths things of which ye had no knowledge; and ye thought it to be a light matter, while it was most serious in the sight of God.
And why did ye not when ye heard it say? "It is not right of us to speak of this: Glory to Thee (our Lord)! this is a most serious slander!"
God doth admonish you, that ye may never repeat such (conduct) if ye are (true) Believers.
And God makes the Signs plain to you: for God is full of knowledge and wisdom.
Those who love (to see) scandal published broadcast among the Believers, will have a grievous Penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: God knows and ye know not.
Were it not for the grace and mercy of God on you, and that God is full of kindness and mercy, (ye would be ruined indeed).”
Thus, God Almighty told His Messenger that what was said about Hazrat Aisha was nothing but slander, relieving the clean soul and conscience of His Messenger of the distress and preventing the personality of Hazrat Abu Bakr from being humiliated; so, the mischief and disturbance that emerged among Muslims was prevented from being spread.
The Best Acquittal
Once Hazrat Abdullah b. Abbas was asked about the interpretation of the verses related to Hazrat Aisha. He explained them as follows:
“God acquitted four people of four things and freed them from the slanders:
1) He acquitted Hazrat Yusuf through the tongue of a witness from the family of Zulaykha.
2) He acquitted Hazrat Moses of the rumors of the Jews through the stone that took his clothes.
3) He acquitted Hazrat Maryam by making the baby on her lap say, ‘I am a slave of God’.
4) He acquitted Hazrat Aisha through the magnificent verses of the glorious Quran, which will be preserved until the Doomsday; this last acquittal has had no match. Look and see the difference between this acquittal and the others.
God did it only to show the highness of the degree of His Messenger.”
The Slanderers are Punished
After the revelation regarding the issue was sent down, the Messenger of God recited a sermon and then the read the verses to the people.
After that, he ordered Mistah b. Uthatha, Hassan b. Thabit and Hamna bint Jahsh, who worked hard with their tongues to spread the rumor, to be punished. The slanderers were whipped 80 lashes.

Liber AL vel Legis sub figura CCXX, Cap. 2
The Book of the Law Liber AL vel Legis sub figura CCXX
as delivered by XCIII = 418 to DCLXVI
II
1. Nu! the hiding of Hadit.
2. Come! all ye, and learn the secret that hath not yet been revealed. I, Hadit, am the complement of Nu, my bride. I am not extended, and Khabs is the name of my House.
3. In the sphere I am everywhere the centre, as she, the circumference, is nowhere found.
4. Yet she shall be known & I never.
5. Behold! the rituals of the old time are black. Let the evil ones be cast away; let the good ones be purged by the prophet! Then shall this Knowledge go aright.
6. I am the flame that burns in every heart of man, and in the core of every star. I am Life, and the giver of Life, yet therefore is theknowledge of me the knowledge of death.
7. I am the Magician and the Exorcist. I am the axle of the wheel, and the cube in the circle. "Come unto me" is a foolish word: for it is I that go.
8. Who worshipped Heru-pa-kraath have worshipped me; ill, for I am the worshipper.
9. Remember all ye that existence is pure joy; that all the sorrows are but as shadows; they pass & are done; but there is that which remains.
10. O prophet! thou hast ill will to learn this writing.
11. I see thee hate the hand & the pen; but I am stronger.
12. Because of me in Thee which thou knewest not.
13. for why? Because thou wast the knower, and me.
14. Now let there be a veiling of this shrine: now let the light devour men and eat them up with blindness!
15. For I am perfect, being Not; and my number is nine by the fools; but with the just I am eight, and one in eight: Which is vital, for I am none indeed. The Empress and the King are not of me; for there is a further secret.
16. I am The Empress & the Hierophant. Thus eleven, as my bride is eleven.
17. Hear me, ye people of sighing!
The sorrows of pain and regret
Are left to the dead and the dying,
The folk that not know me as yet.
18. These are dead, these fellows; they feel not. We are not for the poor and sad: the lords of the earth are our kinsfolk.
19. Is a God to live in a dog? No! but the highest are of us. They shall rejoice, our chosen: who sorroweth is not of us.
20. Beauty and strength, leaping laughter and delicious languor, force and fire, are of us.
21. We have nothing with the outcast and the unfit: let them die in their misery. For they feel not. Compassion is the vice of kings: stamp down the wretched & the weak: this is the law of the strong: this is our law and the joy of the world. Think not, o king, upon that lie: That Thou Must Die: verily thou shalt not die, but live. Now let it be understood: If the body of the King dissolve, he shall remain in pure ecstasy for ever. Nuit! Hadit! Ra-Hoor-Khuit! The Sun, Strength & Sight, Light; these are for the servants of the Star & the Snake.
22. I am the Snake that giveth Knowledge & Delight and bright glory, and stir the hearts of men with drunkenness. To worship me take wine and strange drugs whereof I will tell my prophet, & be drunk thereof! They shall not harm ye at all. It is a lie, this folly against self. The exposure of innocence is a lie. Be strong, o man! lust, enjoy all things of sense and rapture: fear not that any God shall deny thee for this.
23. I am alone: there is no God where I am.
24. Behold! these be grave mysteries; for there are also of my friends who be hermits. Now think not to find them in the forest or on the mountain; but in beds of purple, caressed by magnificent beasts of women with large limbs, and fire and light in their eyes, and masses of flaming hair about them; there shall ye find them. Ye shall see them at rule, at victorious armies, at all the joy; and there shall be in them a joy a million times greater than this. Beware lest any force another, King against King! Love one another with burning hearts; on the low men trample in the fierce lust of your pride, in the day of your wrath.
25. Ye are against the people, O my chosen!
26. I am the secret Serpent coiled about to spring: in my coiling there is joy. If I lift up my head, I and my Nuit are one. If I droop down mine head, and shoot forth venom, then is rapture of the earth, and I and the earth are one.
27. There is great danger in me; for who doth not understand these runes shall make a great miss. He shall fall down into the pit called Because, and there he shall perish with the dogs of Reason.
28. Now a curse upon Because and his kin!
29. May Because be accursed for ever!
30. If Will stops and cries Why, invoking Because, then Will stops & does nought.
31. If Power asks why, then is Power weakness.
32. Also reason is a lie; for there is a factor infinite & unknown; & all their words are skew-wise.
33. Enough of Because! Be he damned for a dog!
34. But ye, o my people, rise up & awake!
35. Let the rituals be rightly performed with joy & beauty!
36. There are rituals of the elements and feasts of the times.
37. A feast for the first night of the Prophet and his Bride!
38. A feast for the three days of the writing of the Book of the Law.
39. A feast for Tahuti and the child of the Prophet--secret, O Prophet!
40. A feast for the Supreme Ritual, and a feast for the Equinox of the Gods.
41. A feast for fire and a feast for water; a feast for life and a greater feast for death!
42. A feast every day in your hearts in the joy of my rapture!
43. A feast every night unto Nu, and the pleasure of uttermost delight!
44. Aye! feast! rejoice! there is no dread hereafter. There is the dissolution, and eternal ecstasy in the kisses of Nu.
45. There is death for the dogs.
46. Dost thou fail? Art thou sorry? Is fear in thine heart?
47. Where I am these are not.
48. Pity not the fallen! I never knew them. I am not for them. I console not: I hate the consoled & the consoler.
49. I am unique & conqueror. I am not of the slaves that perish. Be they damned & dead! Amen. (This is of the 4: there is a fifth who is invisible, & therein am I as a babe in an egg. )
50. Blue am I and gold in the light of my bride: but the red gleam is in my eyes; & my spangles are purple & green.
51. Purple beyond purple: it is the light higher than eyesight.
52. There is a veil: that veil is black. It is the veil of the modest woman; it is the veil of sorrow, & the pall of death: this is none of me. Tear down that lying spectre of the centuries: veil not your vices in virtuous words: these vices are my service; ye do well, & I will reward you here and hereafter.
53. Fear not, o prophet, when these words are said, thou shalt not be sorry. Thou art emphatically my chosen; and blessed are the eyes that thou shalt look upon with gladness. But I will hide thee in a mask of sorrow: they that see thee shall fear thou art fallen: but I lift thee up.
54. Nor shall they who cry aloud their folly that thou meanest nought avail; thou shall reveal it: thou availest: they are the slaves of because: They are not of me. The stops as thou wilt; the letters? change them not in style or value!
55. Thou shalt obtain the order & value of the English Alphabet; thou shalt find new symbols to attribute them unto.
56. Begone! ye mockers; even though ye laugh in my honour ye shall laugh not long: then when ye are sad know that I have forsaken you.
57. He that is righteous shall be righteous still; he that is filthy shall be filthy still.
58. Yea! deem not of change: ye shall be as ye are, & not other. Therefore the kings of the earth shall be Kings for ever: the slaves shall serve. There is none that shall be cast down or lifted up: all is ever as it was. Yet there are masked ones my servants: it may be that yonder beggar is a King. A King may choose his garment as he will: there is no certain test: but a beggar cannot hide his poverty.
59. Beware therefore! Love all, lest perchance is a King concealed! Say you so? Fool! If he be a King, thou canst not hurt him.
60. Therefore strike hard & low, and to hell with them, master!
61. There is a light before thine eyes, o prophet, a light undesired, most desirable.
62. I am uplifted in thine heart; and the kisses of the stars rain hard upon thy body.
63. Thou art exhaust in the voluptuous fullness of the inspiration; the expiration is sweeter than death, more rapid and laughterful than a caress of Hell's own worm.
64. Oh! thou art overcome: we are upon thee; our delight is all over thee: hail! hail: prophet of Nu! prophet of Had! prophet of Ra-Hoor-Khu! Now rejoice! now come in our splendour & rapture! Come in our passionate peace, & write sweet words for the Kings.
65. I am the Master: thou art the Holy Chosen One.
66. Write, & find ecstasy in writing! Work, & be our bed in working! Thrill with the joy of life & death! Ah! thy death shall be lovely: whososeeth it shall be glad. Thy death shall be the seal of the promise of our age long love. Come! lift up thine heart & rejoice! We are one; we are none.
67. Hold! Hold! Bear up in thy rapture; fall not in swoon of the excellent kisses!
68. Harder! Hold up thyself! Lift thine head! breathe not so deep -- die!
69. Ah! Ah! What do I feel? Is the word exhausted?
70. There is help & hope in other spells. Wisdom says: be strong! Then canst thou bear more joy. Be not animal; refine thy rapture! If thou drink, drink by the eight and ninety rules of art: if thou love, exceed by delicacy; and if thou do aught joyous, let there be subtlety therein!
71. But exceed! exceed!
72. Strive ever to more! and if thou art truly mine -- and doubt it not, an if thou art ever joyous! -- death is the crown of all.
73. Ah! Ah! Death! Death! thou shalt long for death. Death is forbidden, o man, unto thee.
74. The length of thy longing shall be the strength of its glory. He that lives long & desires death much is ever the King among the Kings.
75. Aye! listen to the numbers & the words:
76. 4 6 3 8 A B K 2 4 A L G M O R 3 Y X 24 89 R P S T O V A L. What meaneth this, o prophet? Thou knowest not; nor shalt thou know ever. There cometh one to follow thee: he shall expound it. But remember, o chose none, to be me; to follow the love of Nu in the star-lit heaven; to look forth upon men, to tell them this glad word.
77. O be thou proud and mighty among men!
78. Lift up thyself! for there is none like unto thee among men or among Gods! Lift up thyself, o my prophet, thy stature shall surpass the stars. They shall worship thy name, foursquare, mystic, wonderful, the number of the man; and the name of thy house 418.
79. The end of the hiding of Hadit; and blessing & worship to the prophet of the lovely Star!
Love is the law, love under will.

Wizard of Oz Queen x pre-teen Chap. 2; Landing in Oz
*Author’s note*
Alrighty here’s where things get interesting now just a few things. Now for the person I’ve chosen to be Glinda, the witch of the North I had a combined costume idea, so based on the gifs below imagine Fred’s outfit from the Christmas 1975 Hammersmith concert, and the very LAST costume David Bowie wears in the film Labyrinth. Also a face cast you can imagine for the 4 Fae Queens, just think of Lucy Boynton’s!Mary Austin.
Warnings: Tornadoes, death of a character (not a main one).

*3rd Person POV*
About a half mile away from the house, a giant F2 tornado had hit right near Rockfield studios. Henry Gale was frantically racing towards the barn to get some of the cows and horses lose from the stable so that they wouldn’t be trapped and end up getting killed.
Covering herself with her shawl, Aunt Em raced out the backdoor near the storm shelter and she cried out for (Y/n) as loud as she could over the harsh winds.
Just around the trail leading to the house, (Y/n) and Toto arrived back home to see the tornado coming right up towards the house. She and Toto as best as they could ran around the fence dodging bushes and trees that were now flying right towards them.
“Henry! Henry I can’t find (Y/n) she must be out there in the storm!”
“We don’t have time to look for her now we’ve got to get underground!” Henry urged his wife as he dragged her over to the storm cellar. All the while Em was screaming out for (Y/n) till she was gently shoved into the storm cellar. Henry followed close behind her and struggled to close the doors till finally he got it and bolted it from the inside.
*1st POV*
The loud winds, the trees flying right at us, and the sheer force of the winds themselves almost wanting to take us with whatever it could grab. I set my suitcase down and quickly grabbed Toto before racing toward the house.
When we finally got there, I grabbed the screen door but as I opened it, it flew right off its hinges and into the air. Without a second thought I opened the main door and started searching all the main leveled rooms for my aunt.
“Auntie Em! Auntie Em!” the storm cellar! I ran towards the backdoor and opened it and was petrified cause the tornado was now just a foot away from the house. I ran over to the cellar door and tried to open it only to find it was locked.
I kicked it trying to be louder than the rapid winds and crying out as loud as I could.
“Auntie Em! Uncle Henry!” the tornado was getting closer so with no other choice I went back inside and closed my bedroom door. My heart was racing and I was completely terrified. I held Toto closer to my chest praying that the twister was going to pass.
Suddenly my windows exploded from the hinges and went flying around my room. I shrieked and tried to duck away from my window, I crawled towards my bed but as I tried to pull myself up onto it, the window suddenly flew right at me and hit me in the back of my head.
Soon I was knocked out as I fell against my bed.
When I woke up, I heard the sound of chickens clucking before the cries of a rooster. I looked out towards the open window and saw a whole chicken coop was outside before blowing away. I was also surprised to see a cow suddenly fly right by mooing as it did.
Toto came right up towards my window barking at the cow before hopping right off and going to hide underneath the bed. Shortly after the cow went away, two men in a canoe soon appeared. When they saw me, they took off their fishing hats and greeted me before rowing away. I then looked down my window to see just where exactly we were.
And I got the shock of my life when I saw nothing but spiraling winds.
“We must be up inside the tornado!” I exclaimed to Toto who peeked his head up right at me. Soon another surprise came at me when I saw Paul Prenter just a few feet away from my window. He sat on top of a car (god I hope Freddie and the boys aren’t in there). I exclaimed his name in shock but it wasn’t until a few seconds later that I thought I was going mad.
As quick as a snap. Paul’s appearance soon began to change. Now he wore an all-black witch’s robe, the car turned into a broomstick, he wore the typical sharp pointy black witch hat, and his skin turned a sickly green color.
Terrified I buried myself into my bed as the echoes of a wicked laugh came out of him.
The house continued to spin faster and faster, so much so that now my bed was moving from side to side of the house. I kept screaming and shrieking as I held Toto close to my side so that he wouldn’t get hurt. It felt like forever that we kept spinning on the bed and swaying back and forth.
Then as quick as it happened, it suddenly stopped and everything went silent. There was no more wind howling, no more movement, no cackling, nothing. Just pure silence.
After waiting about a minute or two to see if we really had landed, I stood up picking Toto off the bed and grabbed my basket that I kept some essential things in and walked out of my room.
The house was disarray with things falling over, pictures broken, books scattered everywhere, and furniture turned on its side. Toto and I walked through the damage right towards the front door.
When I opened up the front door, I was greeted with the most beautiful sight.
All around was nothing but bright colored flowers, a small bridge with a crystal clear river flowing underneath it, and up ahead a tiny little village of sorts. I slowly got out of the house with Toto at my side and the two of us walked out and explored this abandoned place.
It was beautiful. Flowers that looked like the ones back home and some flowers I had never seen before, like this one flower looked like a rose however it was sky blue color, and when you went to smell it, it didn’t smell like a rose at all. It smelled more like a daffodil.
We walked over the small bridge closer to the village homes and I could see just behind the village were rolling hills just like back home. And the floor was even unique, it spiraled around into two colors, one was a red brick trail while the other was yellow.
“Toto,” I started, “I have a feeling we’re not in Wales anymore.” I told him. I continued to look around this beautiful place and was just in awe at it’s beauty. It was like something out of a fairy tale. “It’s so pretty here.”
I then heard a shimmer of a bell behind me and when I turned around floating right towards Toto and I was a crystal ball of sorts. The sun reflected off the beautiful rainbow within it and to my surprise, the ball began to grow bigger and bigger the closer it got to us.
I backed away slowly as the crystal soon landed on the ground and soon appearing before us was a man.
He was—very handsome. Dark, tan skin with black hair that almost made him look regal looking (kinda like a lion’s mane). His eyes were emphasized with the Egyptian cat’s tail, and glitter specked across his cheeks giving him a more ethereal appearance.
He wore a mixture of white and silver clothes. His pants and tight shirt were all white but he was draped in a silver fur coat. Well the fur stopped midway while the rest of it was like expensive silk or even satin material.
He also wore rings across almost each finger and his nails were painted the purest black. And in his hand he held a dazzling wand glittered with diamonds.
What was also unique yet slightly familiar about this—being was the overbite he had. I couldn’t place it but I swear I knew someone else with an overbite just like him but—I could remember his name.
“Now I—I know we’re not in Wales.” I muttered down to Toto. He walked up to his, hit white boots clicking underneath the stone-brick road. His eyes stared at me intensely as he said.
“Are you a good witch? Or a bad witch?” I looked around confused before pointing to me.
“Who me?” he nodded. “I’m—I’m not a witch at all. I’m (Y/n) Gale. From Monmouth.”
“Oh well is that the witch?” he said pointing down to Toto who looked up at the man with a tilt of his head.
“Who Toto? Toto’s my dog.” He chuckled softly before saying.
“Forgive me my dear, but I’m a little muttered. The seasonal faes had called me to say that a new witch has just dropped a house on the Wicked witch of the East. And there’s the house, and here you are, and there is all that’s left of the Wicked witch of the East.”
I looked over toward my house and low and behold, right where my bedroom was, I saw feet sticking out from underneath my house. I gasped and that’s when the man said to me again.
“And so what the faes want to know is are you good? Or are you wicked?”
“But I already told you I’m not a witch at all. Witches are old and ugly!” I then heard the musical ringing of laughter which startled me.
“What was that?” the man chuckled cunningly as he said.
“The seasonal faes. They’re laughing because I am a witch. Or well—Warlock. I am Fiyero, the Good Warlock of the North.”
“Really? Oh forgive me sir.” I curtsied. “But I never knew a Warlock could be handsome.”
“Only Bad Warlocks are ugly my dear.” Dear? The way he even called me that sounded familiar but—I still couldn’t place the face back home. “The seasonal faes are happy because you have freed them from the wrath of the Wicked Witch of the East.”
“If you’ll forgive me for asking but—what are seasonal faes?” I heard the musical laughter once more and that’s when Fiyero answered.
“The fairies responsible for making all the seasonal or earthly changes in our happy home of Oz.” he told me. Then with a graceful turn of his cape, he soon came up onto a platform and proclaimed, “You may come out my darlings and thank her.” But no one came out.
“Do—do they not trust me?”
“Oh pay no mind my dear. They’re just a little shy. But a little song helps ease them out. Do you know any?”
“I—I think I remember a song that my Auntie once sung to me when I was a little girl.”
“Would you care to sing it for them?” he extended out his hand for mine. I walked towards the platform and hesitantly looked up at him. His gentle brown eyes assured me that it would be okay, so I took his hand and he helped me up the stairs till I stood at the center of the platform.
I rubbed my sweaty palm against my jeans and cleared my throat before turning towards Fiyero who only nodded softly. I took a deep breath and softly began to sing. This was a song my Auntie Em used to sing to me to ease my fear. She said that her mum once sung it to her, and her mum before.
A song passed through generation to generation. As I did the soft vocalization part, I was shocked to hear a reply from a beautiful female voice echoing my vocalization, but adding another part to it.

I could see Fiyero’s wide smile and he gestured for me to go on. I walked down off the platform and ventured further into the village. The first thing I went up to was a large Hollow tree. I touched the proud trunk before climbing up on top of it. When I scaled a certain part of the tree, I saw just to my left and ice slide.
I pulled myself onto the branch and slowly walked across it before sliding all the way down. Going side to side, loop-de-loops, and dipping straight down till I came to an underground cave. Fire soon sparked through the dark cave and I saw ahead of my large rock pillars just ahead of me.
I took the leap of faith and jumped across from rock to rock, using the fire as my light and only guiding source. When I reached the other side, I soon came across an icy paradise.
Ice surrounded most of this part of the cave, the light from the fire made the ice sparkle like a soft rainbow. Along the trail was an ice bridge and just underneath it was a flowing river. I walked along the bridge still singing my song till I came to an elegantly made ice staircase.
I quickly raced up the stairs only to come back to the beginning back to the front of the village. But still no faes made themselves known. Toto came up to me and I picked him up and turned to Fiyero shrugging in defeat and sadness.
Maybe they didn’t want to see me. And that was sad cause I’ve always secretly longed to see a fairy.
*Me*
I've never felt so certain All my life I've been torn But I'm here for a reason Could it be the reason I was born? I have always been so different Normal rules did not apply Is this the day? Are you the way I finally find out why?
Show yourself I'm no longer trembling Here I am I've come so far You are the answer I've waited for All of my life Oh, show yourself Let me see who you are
He held his hand out in wait as he walked down the platform and gently waved his diamond wand around and magic soon surrounded me with images of the four elements and seasons.
Spring and Earth, Summer and Fire, Autumn and Air, and Winter and Water. When he finished the verse he gestured for me to take over.
I set Toto back down on the ground and just stared in awe at each of the elements/seasons slowly spinning around me. I then found myself reaching out towards the Spring element and as soon as I touched the flower, a powerful magic blast exploded out across the village.
*Fiyero*
Come to her now Open your door Don't make her wait One moment more *Me*
Oh, come to me now Open your door Don't make me wait One moment more
Soon I saw nothing but fairy dust fly out from either the homes, the tree, the caves, and even the garden I had crossed earlier. I was soon surrounded by thousands if not millions of fairies. All of them wearing the colors representing each season or element.
Winter and water spirits wore blue and white, Spring and Earth wore green and brown, the Autumn and Air wore orange or pink attires, and the Summer and Fire faes wore yellow or red. The faes then began singing in a beautiful choir and soon vocalizing were four beautiful women soon coming towards me.
They looked identical in facial appearance but each of them had their own significant ethereal based on each season or element they represented. They were also the same size as Fiyero compared to all the other faes.
I also noticed how these four women each wore a crown upon their heads. I turned to see Fiyero bowing to these four women, I began to realize that these four must be the Queens. I bowed in respect as well and that’s when I felt a hand under my chin.
It was the Spring Fae Queen and with her gentle green eyes she looked down at me with a motherly gaze as she sung to me. Her beautiful dark brown hair was like looking at the very earth at the ground, and with her spring flower crown decorating her hair, it just made her dark hair pop out even more.
*Faes*
Where the north wind meets the sea
*Fae Queens*
Ah ah ah ah
*Faes*
There's a river
*Fae Queens*
Ah ah ah ah
*Faes*

*Spring Fae Queen*
Come, my darling, homeward bound
*Me*
I am found!
For some reason I felt tears in my eyes but I sung out proudly and that’s when the four Queens allowed me in their circle. The Spring fae Queen first gifted me with a flower necklace that was a beautiful pink color.
The Summer Queen with a fire igniting from her hands, forced my hair to come undone from my braid and finally be long and flowing like fire itself. She even gave my hair some bright red highlights that almost resembled fire across the field.
The Autumn Queen soon came up and gifted me with two bracelets made of twig and she used the air to bring some Autumn leaves to decorate the bracelets. I even saw how along my arms a pattern of golden leaves were imprinted into my skin, kinda like a tattoo.
The Winter Queen changed my entire outfit into a pure snow white dress, but at the bottom of the dress it was an indigo color. It was also decorated with snowflake crystals of white, blue and indigo. And on the back it even had two wing-like flaps that came out of the shoulders.
The millions and millions of tiny Faes then began to circle me and as fairy dust came down upon me, I felt myself lifting into the air and I was soon spinning around like a top. I closed my eyes as I allowed the faes voices surround me and envelope my very soul.
It was like being wrapped in a blanket of warmth and love.
I would join in with the faes whenever I could as I raised my arms over my head and my hair rose high above me. With one final loud vocalization from me, fairy magic exploded across the land.
*All*
Show yourself Step into your power Grow yourself Into something new
*Fae Queens*
You are the one we've been waiting for
*Seasonal faes*

*Me*
All of your life
Oh, show yourself
*Faes*

Soon I was gently lowered back to the ground as all the faes fluttered all over the place and the four Queens stood before me.
“We thank you again dear one. For you have freed us from the wrath of the Wicked Witch of the East.” The Spring Queen said with a voice that warm and sweet just like honey.
“And from each of us, we have bestowed upon you a Faes life force. Should the time come, our magic will help heal any wound or brink of death you may encounter.” The Winter Queen told me. Her white hair resembled the snow in winter and her icy blue eyes held such warmth.
“Let the news be spread far and wide from every far reaches of our Fae kingdoms,” the Autumn Queen first started off.
“The Wicked old Witch at last is dead!” the Summer Queen finished as she raised her arm high over and shot a fireball into the air. All the fairies cheered and rejoiced.
Fiyero came up to me and placed a hand to my shoulder smiling down at me.
“Being gifted by the Fae Queens is a most powerful thing. You should be considered lucky.” I nodded and I bowed to the four Queens again and said.
“Thank you, your majesties. I shall treasure your trust and gift forever.”
Suddenly out of nowhere an explosion happened right in the middle of the fae kingdom. An evil red smoke soon exploded out and an awful smell took over the air. All the faes soon took off fleeing back to their hiding places and there stood an evil looking man.
He was dressed in a full black Warlock robes and held a broomstick in his hand. His green skin was like the grassy fields back home and his eyes were gleaming with hatred right at me. The 4 Queens and Fiyero all stood protectively around me as the green warlock walked towards the feet that were sticking out from my house.
“I—I thought you said the Witch was dead.”
“That was his sister. This creature is the Wicked Warlock of the West. And he’s far worse than his sister was.” Fiyero said to me.
“Who killed my sister? Who killed the Witch of the East? Was it you?!” the Warlock of the West said as he slinked towards us before glaring right down at me.
“No. No it was an accident. I didn’t mean to kill anyone!” I said fearfully.
“Well my little lass. I can cause accidents too!”
“Aren’t you forgetting the Ruby slippers?” the Spring fae Queen asked.
“The slippers, yes!” the Warlock of the West said. He turned back towards his sister’s feet. Next thing we saw, the slippers disappeared and the feet curled in before disappearing underneath my house. “They’re gone! The ruby slippers. What have you done with them? Give them back to me or I’ll—”
“It’s too late. There they are, and there they’ll stay.” Fiyero said as he wand pointed down toward my feet. I looked down and gasped.
My normal shoes had now been replaced by the witch’s ruby slippers.
“Give me back my slippers. I’m the only one who knows how to use them. They’re of no use to you. Give them back to me. Give them back!”
“Keep tightly inside of them my dear. Their magic must be very powerful, or he wouldn’t want them so badly.” The Summer queen warned me.
“You females stay out of this. Same with you Fiyero! Or I’ll fix you as well.”
“Ha! Rubbish green-meanie! You have no power here. Now fly off! Before someone drops a house on you too!” Fiyero laughed. The Warlock suddenly grew fearful as he looked up at the sky for a moment before looking back at us.
“Very well, I’ll bide my time. And as for you my little lass. It’s true I cannot rid of you here as I’d like but just try to stay out of my way. Just try. I’ll get you my pretty, and you’re little dog too!” I looked down at Toto who was hiding behind my legs.
I quickly grabbed him and held him in my arms as the Warlock of the West let out a sinister cackle before moving away from us and disappearing into red smoke and fire. We all heard the fearful exclaims of the other faes.
“It’s alright now you may come back out. He’s gone.” The Spring queen assured all the faes.
“It’s alright. He’s gone. You may come back out.” The Winter queen spoke out as well. Fiyero waved his hand in front of his nose and said.
“Ugh what a rotten smell of sulfur. I’m afraid you’ve made a rather nasty enemy out of the Warlock of the West. The sooner you return home safe and sound, the safer you’ll sleep at night my darling.” He stroked a strand of my hair out of my face.
“I’d give anything to get home all together. But…..which way is the way back to Wales? I can’t go the way I came.”
“No indeed not. The only person who might be able to help you, would be the Great and benevolent Wizard of Oz himself.” At the mention of that name. the Fae Queens and all the fairies bowed their heads.
“Wizard of Oz? Is he good or is he wicked?”
“Oh very good but very mysterious. He lives in the Emerald City and that’s a long ways from here. Did you bring your broomstick with you?” I grinned sheepishly.
“No I’m afraid not.” I admitted shyly.
“Well then you’ll have to walk. The faes will see you safely out of the borders of their land. And remember; never let those ruby slippers off your feet for a moment. Or you will be at the mercy of the Wicked Warlock of the West.” Fiyero said as he led me across the garden before standing in front of me and giving me a kiss on each cheek.
“Okay but—how do I get to Emerald City?”
“It’s always best to start at the beginning. And all you have to do, is follow the yellow brick road.” He said going a grand gesture towards the trail of yellow bricks.
I hesitantly walked towards it before turning back towards Fiyero and asked him.
“But what happens if—”
“Just follow the yellow brick road my darling.” He said with a smile and a wink. Then he transformed back into his crystal ball and it began to shrink as it floated off back towards the sky. All the while some of the faes flying behind him waving goodbye.
“Damn. People come and go so quickly around here don’t they?” the faes all nodded.
“Here, let’s get you back into your normal clothes. Those aren’t really meant for traveling.” The Winter Queen said and with a twirl of her hand, the dress disappeared and my normal clothes came back. I also took notice that the Autumn leaves along my arm had also disappeared, and when I looked at my hair, the red highlights were gone as well.
“Wait, did you…..”
“No my dear. You still have our ties to you. It’s best to keep Fae magic outside of our kingdom a secret. Anyone with the gift of the faes becomes a target and you’ve already become one for the Warlock of the West.” The Autumn Queen told me.
“But if you do need to prove yourself protected by the Four Fae Queens, just touch the necklace of earth I’ve gifted you and your protection marks will come forth.” The Spring Queen assured me.
I nodded before looking down at the point where the yellow brick road started.
“Follow the yellow brick road.” I said to myself as I slowly began walking the spiral of the road. “Follow the yellow brick road.”
“Follow the yellow brick road.” The Autumn Queen told me. I looked at her and she nodded as I continued to walk along the Yellow brick road. All the while I could hear the other Queens tell me to follow the Yellow Brick road.
Soon the faes all began to sing as I walked along the trail before some of the Spring faes held out some violins and began playing them as they continued to sing as the Queens soon came up alongside me and we all skipped down the road.
Follow the yellow brick road Follow the yellow brick road Follow follow follow follow
Follow the yellow brick road Follow the yellow brick
Follow the yellow brick
Follow the yellow brick road

When I reached the borders of the Fae kingdom, they all stopped as I continued to skip along ahead with Toto right at my feet. I briefly stopped and turned to bid the fairies goodbye. They all waved goodbye to me and I blew them a kiss before continuing down the Yellow brick road.

Hi, an Ikesen match-up please~ I am a bi female, gemini and for my surprise, slytherin. I don't like to socialize much. I have few friends but i talk a lot, crack jokes with them and that applies when i open up to new people. I study laws, because i want to make a change and hate injustice. I like to hear music, watch videos, read, write and play videogames. Observant, intelligent but lazy. Open-minded, mature, reserved. I drink milk w/coffee like water. And that's all, thanks you! 💕
Hi Hi, love! ❤🌻I hope you are doing well! Thank you so much for the request! 😊I hope you didn't have to wait too long!🐇😱 I hope you enjoy and I hope you have a super good day! 😊😄
So I match you with................ Kenshin
The first time you see this beautiful ice prince was in the midst of battle. You had saved Nobunga’s life, and as a reward, he names your princess of the oda forces as well as, lucky charm of the Oda forces. For some odd reason, Nobunaga had thought you to be incredibly lucky, so you best be sure that he is going to drag you along with him on every future battle.
You were settling in rather nicely. You worked hard for the castle and its people, helping out the staff wherever you could, even though your role as, princess didn’t require you to work at all. You had a mature graceful air about you, and you seemed to get the tasks done that you set your mind to fairly quickly.
After some time the Oda forces really got to know you, at first you were incredibly reserved, and you honestly didn’t socialize with them much. However, after you were cleared for suspicion of being a spy, the Oda forces basically adopted you as their older sister.
They found it most amusing how you would find new easier and quicker ways to get your work done, so that you would have more time to relax and laze around, cause let’s face it you were a bit lazy.
One day you woke up with the sudden urge to spend the day in the markets. It was one of your rare days off, so you decided to go to one of the teahouses. You made your way to sit in a sunny spot by the window and ordered the closest thing to coffee you could find. As time passed the tea house seemed to get busier and busier. It was a past time favourite of yours to people watch. To use your keen senses to observe the world around you. You found the people of this time period incredibly interesting, from their behaviours to the way they carried themselves, you could honestly sit and watch them for hours.
Out of the corner of your eye, you took notice of a small commotion starting to take form. It seemed like some rowdy customers were refusing to pay for their drinks and lunch. Apparently, they thought themselves too high and mightly to pay the tab. Things started escalating fairly quickly as before you could blink your eyes, the rowdy men had their swords drawn with fill intention of harming the owner. Honestly, you hated injustice, you calmly stood up and walked up to the owner, you knew the owner’s rights as you had been studying the laws of the past for a couple of weeks now.
You stated that as customers the men had to pay the owner for services delivered, and you even went as far as to quote the laws that Nobunaga himself had set just earlier that week. But alas the men weren’t having any of it, without a second thought one of them swang his sword at you and it stopped mere millimetre from your throat. You squeezed your eyes shut in fear, sometimes you forgot just how turbulent this time period was.
You cracked your eye open to see the blade had been caught by a man wearing a black cloak with a furry collar. You weren’t able to see his face, but the way he moved had been so graceful and elegant, you found yourself being entirely captivated by him. After he had saved your life, he disappeared, you looked down on the floor and noticed that he had dropped his hand towel. You couldn’t help but smile as you examined the piece of fabric, as in the corner of the towel was a hand-stitched image of a bunny. You wondered if you would ever see the graceful man again as you made your way back to the castle.
Things had been going well with your new family of warlords until one day, Nobunaga had announced that you were to accompany them to the battlefield. No amount of video games could possibly have prepared you for the horrific sights that were now unfolding before your eyes. You were riding on the back of Nobunaga’s horse as he fought in the front lines. You had to cover your ears and close your eyes as the sights and sounds of a real-life war was honestly too horrific for you. In hindsight, that may have been a slight mistake. As in the next moment, you went tumbling to the ground, falling off Nobunaga’s horse as he kicked the horse into a run. You now laid on the floor of the battlefield, paralyzed in fear when all of a sudden a beautiful man with one blue eye and one green eye spotted you.
He rode up to you on his pure white stallion and looked down at you. He got down from his horse and looked at you, eyes filled with sorrow, “This is no place for a woman to be, little rabbit.” He then retrieved a black cloak from his saddlebag and draped it over your shoulders, “Close your eyes and cover your ears, I promise to take you someplace safe.” You gave him a small nod and did as he said. He then picked you up, placed you on his horse and held you tight in his warm arms, all while racing back to basecamp, away from the terrors of the war. You weren’t sure whether it was the stress from witnessing your first real-life war or the relief of being saved and cradled safely in the arms of this gorgeous man, but you found your self slipping out of consciousness.
You woke up in Kenshin’s room back in Kasugayama Castle, you were honestly a little confused and disoriented. You saw the black cloak with a fluffy collar hanging in the corner of the room and memories of the incident in the teahouse came flooding back. It was twice now that his man had saved your life. Kenshin walked into the room and noticed you had finally woken up, he rushed over to you to check on you. You had been out cold for 3 days. You could see the fear and worry melt away in Kenshin’s eyes as he saw that you were now finally awake, although what he said next filled yours with fear and anxiety, “You’re the Oda princess.” You gave a small nod, thinking he was going to lock you in the dungeon and treat you like a proper hostage, but instead, he called for one of the maids to show you to your room. He had told you that you were their hostage and that you would be staying with them until the next war.
You were free to roam the castle and do as you please. You had wandered around when you found a giant room filled to the brim with books. Your eyes sparkled in delight, as you loved reading.
You continued on with your studies of the laws of the past, when Kenshin walked into the library, and curiously looked over at the book you were reading. He was sister shook when he saw it was a book relating to laws and policies. He sat across from you to read his own book on strategies.
It was a comfortable silence when all of a sudden, a bunny came hopping into the room, then another, then another, when finally the warlord was covered in an avalanche in fluff. You looked up and gave a slight chuckle, you couldn’t help but crack a joke. Kenshin looked up from his book with the most beautiful smile and cracked a small joke as well. Soon the two of you were firing the most hilarious jokes at one another, both in a fit of laughter. Somewhere between the jokes and laughter, both of you had put your books down and was now sipping on tea and chatting away.
Kenshin curiously asked you about the book you were reading as he found it rather unusual for a woman to be interested in such topics. You had told him of your dream of wanting to make a change and make the world a better place. Kenshin couldn’t help but smile, “If there is ever anything I can do to aid you in that dream, don’t hesitate to ask.” And so your daily tea dates with the bunny warlord began. Every day the two of you would sit and chat over a hot cup of tea.
One day you accidentally let it slip that you could kill to have some coffee again. You had told Kenshin all about the bitter drink that had the ability to give you that caffeine kick you needed to get things done. Kenshin smiled and listened intently, and low and behold, the very next week Kenshin surprised you with a bag of coffee beans he managed to obtain from some Italian traders.
Kenshin really really enjoyed your company, he would insist that you sit next to him at every banquet, so that the two of you could joke around and chat. He loved that despite the fact that you had only been in one real-life war, you had so many war stories. These, of course, were the stories of your time playing video games, from getting the most headshots in Blackops, to taking down a crazy cult leader in Far Cry. Kenshin loved to listen to these crazy stories, and you loved the way he would ask you all sorts of questions about them like an excited little boy. Surprisingly enough since arriving at Kasugayama, you never missed the youtube videos you would watch every day, as this mixed bag of strange men were always busy doing something stupid. Watching Yukimura and Sasuke together were like watching videos of people doing crazy challenges, watching Yoshimoto was like watching all your favourite BeuTubers and watching Shingen that was like watching 101 ways to flirt.
Honestly, Kenshin loved you, his whole face would light up whenever you entered into the room. He loved cracking jokes with you, he loved how mature you were, and he loved just talking with you for hours and hours. It took you no time at all to open up to the God of war, and honestly, you loved him just as much as he loved you.
He honestly knew from day one that you were his soulmate, and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you. He knew you loved music, so he, on one summers night, took you out to a flower field that was filled with the lights of a thousand fireflies. He led you to a fluffy blankie under a great big sakura tree. He handed you a small homemade book that he had written just for you, it was a simple story of his life and how much it had changed since you entered into it. At the end of the thin book was a sketch of Kenshin kneeling before you holding a ring in the midst of a flower field. You smiled, and when you looked up from the book, it was as if the scene had come to life. Before you, Kenshin knelt down on one knee and held out a ring, “Will you marry me my beloved goddess of war.” When you responded with a yes, Kenshin gave the signal, and a makeshift stage lit up to reveal a band that two have you had come to love listening to overtime. You then sat down and rested your head on your new fiance’s shoulder, as the two of you listen to the live music and savoured the happy moment.
You and Kenshin made the cutest couple. When he discovered that you often wrote stories, he was delighted. Of course, this cute bunny warlord would insist that you read to him your masterpiece every time you had finished writing a new story. He would rest his head on your lap as you read him the latest piece of your writing. He would look up at you, as you read, with eyes filled with love and adoration, and once you completed the story, he would pull you down and give you the sweetest kiss, “That story was a true work of art, my love.”
Kenshin often took you to festivals to watch your favourite bands perform as he knows just how much you love music. Kenshin being Kenshin would always have your usual spot pimped out, with your favourite fluffy blanket, a picnic basket filled with delicious foods and of course his favourite drink. He would hold you in his arms, cuddling and snuggling you as the two of you listened to and enjoyed the music.
The two of you cuties can often be found nestled together, reading and just simply enjoying each other presence, while being surrounded by an avalanche of your beloved fluff balls.

Christmas Day, The Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ - December 25, 2020
The Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ Music: O Magnum Mysterium
O great mystery, and wonderful sacrament, that animals should see the new-born Lord, lying in a manger!
Blessed is the Virgin whose womb was worthy to bear Christ the Lord. Alleluia!
by Fr. Raphael Frassinetti, 1900
Gospel. Luke ii. 1-14. At that time: There went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that the whole world should be enrolled. This enrolling was first made by Cyrinus the governor of Syria: And all went to be enrolled, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee out of the city of Nazareth into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem: because he was of the house and family of David, to be enrolled with Mary his espoused wife, who was with child. And it came to pass, that when they were there, her days were accomplished, that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her first-born son, and wrapped him up in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger: because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds watching, and keeping the night-watches over their flock. And behold an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the brightness of God shone round about them, and they feared with a great fear. And the angel said to them: Fear not: for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, that shall be to all the people; for this day is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David. And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army, praising God, and saying: Glory to God in the highest: and on earth peace to men of good will.
Who does not rejoice with a holy joy on this great feast, when we celebrate with the Church the appearance of the Son of the eternal Father, our most amiable Redeemer! Behold the expectation of ages has at last made His appearance among us! Come then, all ye Christian nations, to see the new-born Messias, and prostrate yourselves in adoration before Him. Adore Him with Mary, His Virgin Mother; with St. Joseph, His foster-father; with the angels who surround the manger, and sing “Glory to God in the highest.” O mystery of divine love, that a God should descend from heaven and become man for us! St. Francis of Assisi, while giving a discourse on this very subject, was so moved that he could not utter another word, and he and his audience wept floods of tears. My dear young people, I also feel moved on this subject, and would rather give a sermon in tears than in words, when I think that God so loves the world that His eternal Son became a mere infant for us. O what can I do to set your hearts on fire for Him? I confess I am not equal to the task; but with the aid of the Child Jesus, I will relate in a few words the history of His birth, and make some humble and loving comments on it. Who knows but that you will be touched by the great condescension of our good Lord, and may offer Him a few tears of gratitude!
Let us go, my dear young friends, to Bethlehem, and ask the shepherds who were so privileged as to hear the first news of the birth of Christ from the angels, what they saw and heard. “Oh joy and gladness!” they will say. “We have seen the new-born King, we have seen the Child, the most beautiful of the world, wrapped in swaddling-clothes; we have heard His childish cries, and falling down in adoration we have kissed His sacred feet with the greatest veneration. O if you could see how beautiful He is! His rosy cheeks, His golden hair, the pearls of tears in His eyes: all more beautiful than an angel of paradise. Above the Child hover angels, His servants, praising Him, singing hymns of glory and announcing peace to men of good will. We have seen Him born and the choirs of angels praising God.” And where is that divine Infant to be found, in a house or in a palace? Oh, He is to be found in a poor stable; He is laid in a manger, wrapped in swaddling-clothes and exposed to the cold air! Two animals, an ox and an ass, keep Him warm with their breath and seem to recognize their Creator. A man with a radiant face, weeping tears of joy, and full of wonder, adores Him. A young mother, in ecstasy, is busied about the little Child’s necessities; she covers Him with what she has about her, to keep away the cold, she kisses His little feet as a recognition that He is her God, and then His face to show that He is her Son. The little Infant holds out His hands toward His Mother, and looks at her with a joyous smile.
Happy shepherds, what were the gifts that you brought to this divine Infant? In our poverty we had but little that we could give; we brought Him fruit, milk, cheese and a young white lamb. If you could have seen that dear Child, with a smile and a grateful look, receive these poor gifts; He appeared to thank us with His cries and to ask us to give Him our hearts with our other gifts. We could hardly tear ourselves away from that dear Child. This is what these poor, simple people would say. But you, my dear young people, what are your thoughts about that holy Child? This poor Child, who is only a few hours old, is the Son of the Most High. Before there was a heaven or an earth, He existed; the home of that Infant is heaven. Though you see Him wrapped in swaddling-clothes, His vesture is a mantle of purest light; though you see Him between two animals, His usual companions are the angels of heaven. This beautiful Child is God; these small members are the strong arms of a God. But if He be God, why is He in such poverty? He is born poor because He wants it so, and to gain our love and confidence. He might have come into the world in a palace, surrounded by servants; but He preferred a manger for His cradle and a little straw for His bed. He wished to begin His infancy in tears. “Oh, truly happy tears,” cries out St. Thomas of Villanova, ” which obtain for us the pardon of our sins; when we were all lost to God, this Child comes to save us.”
But what does this Child of infinite love ask of us in return? He asks gratitude, acknowledgment and love. The shepherds adored Him indeed, but the rest of mankind did not recognize Him. All the inhabitants of Bethlehem turned Him from their doors; “the foxes have holes and the birds of the air nests, but the Son of man hath not where to lay His head.” The prophet says, “The ox knoweth his owner and the ass his master’s crib, but Israel hath not known Me.” Even in our time many Christians do not give Him the honor which is His due; they heap insults on Him, blaspheme His sacred name, and live in enmity with Him, or do not believe in Him.
Yes, my dear good children, you understand now that the Child Jesus, in return for the great love He showed us, should have gained all hearts on this earth. How many sinners are there in the world and how many sins are committed by them still! Does this look as if Christ had conquered our hearts? Perhaps more sins than usual are committed on Christmas day. The feasts of the Church seem to give occasion for sin, such as going to places of amusement that are dangerous to morals. But let me beg of you, my dear young people, no longer to be ungrateful to the Child Jesus. See, this little Child God has already begun to suffer for you; He is doing the penance which you refused to do, and which you should not omit. Do you hear the cry of the Child? He is already making reparation for those wicked conversations in which you sometimes indulge. Go now to the manger in which Our Lord is placed, and take a good look at Him. See in what poverty He is placed all for you, and then give yourself up to God. Will you not give your heart, your affection to Him?
Love this little Jesus with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your soul; no longer give yourself to the devil; be sorry for the past, throw yourself at the feet of Jesus, and make an entire offering of yourself to Him, saying, “Here we are, dear Infant Jesus, at your feet, with our gifts in our hands, the gift of our hearts; but such miserable hearts, that the gift is unworthy of Thee. But, dear Infant, Thou art omnipotent; Thou canst, if we co-operate with Thy grace, make them pure, holy, and acceptable in Thy sight. Thou canst fill them with virtues and then they will be fit gifts for a God that is in search of souls. We volunteer to give our own souls first, and then we will go forth and gather many others. We now leave our hearts at Thy feet; do not despise them. Thou didst not despise the poor gifts of the shepherds; then take also this gift of our hearts, keep them and make their entrance into heaven sure.”

“When shall I come and appear before the face of God?”–Psalms xli, 3.
Five thousand one hundred and ninety nine years after the creation; 2957 years after the flood; 2015 years after the birth of Abraham; 1510 years after the departure of Moses and the children of Israel from Egypt; 1032 years after the anointing of King David; in the 65th week, according to the prophecy of Daniel; in the 194th Olympiad; 752 years after the building of Rome; in the 42d year of the reign of the Emperor Augustus, when peace prevailed over the whole earth, and in the 6th age of the world, “Jesus Christ, Eternal God, the Son of the Eternal Father,” to bless the world by His coming, was conceived of the Holy Ghost, and nine months later, was born at Bethlehem, of the Virgin Mary. Hence, today is the human birth of our Lord and Saviour.
In these words the holy Church announces, in the Roman Martyrology, today’s great and glorious festival, the birth of our Saviour. The entire account of this festival cannot be given better than it is related in the Gospel of St. Luke, wherein we read as follows: Octavius Augustus, the Roman Emperor, had given peace to the whole empire by conquering his enemies. Nowhere was war heard of, and peace reigned over all the world. The emperor, desiring to know the strength of his empire, and the number of his subjects, profited by this calm, and gave command to his officers to register the names of all the inhabitants of his dominions. Cyrinus was charged with the census of Syria and Judea. In order that this registering might be correctly made, the command was issued that everyone should be enrolled in the city from which his family came. Mary, the Blessed Virgin, and St. Joseph resided at Nazareth, a small town in Galilee; but as both were descended from King David, who came from Bethlehem, a small hamlet or town in the tribe of Judah, five miles from Jerusalem, they went thither. There they found all the houses so filled with strangers, who had come for the same purpose, that although St. Joseph took all pains to find a lodging for his holy spouse, he could not succeed. As the night approached, nothing was left for them but to repair to a cave in a rock, outside of Bethlehem. Both submitted to divine Providence, humbly worshipping the judgment of heaven, as they recognized that the only begotten Son of God, who became flesh to teach us humility and poverty, had Himself chosen this lowly and miserable stable as His birthplace.
Mary, the Virgin Mother, knew the hour of His birth, and remained deeply absorbed in contemplation of the great mystery which was soon to be fulfilled. At midnight she brought forth, without pain and without detriment to her virginity, Him whom she had conceived of the Holy Ghost, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Heavenly Father, the Saviour of the world. Seeing the Divine Child, she was filled with heavenly joy, and, sinking on her knees, she worshipped Him with deep humility and reverence, while her heart burned with motherly love. To God alone is known the greatness of the devotion and love which the Virgin Mother felt at that most holy moment. She took the Child into her arms, kissed it, and pressed it to her happy heart, wrapped it in poor swaddling-clothes, and, as no better place could be found, laid it in a manger. At that time, an ox and an ass were in the stable, and with their breath warmed the Divine Child trembling with cold. Mary and Joseph, prostrating themselves before the new-born Saviour, worshipped Him most devoutly. The Angels united their adoration with that of Joseph and Mary. They had already adored Him at the first moment of His Incarnation; but St. Paul assures us that they were commanded by the Almighty to adore him again at the time of His birth.
While Mary and Joseph were kneeling before the Child, their souls enraptured with love and awe, the Heavenly Father announced the long-desired birth of the Redeemer of mankind to the heathens and the Jews; to the former, by a star; to the latter, by an Angel. During that night shepherds were watching their flocks in the field, when suddenly an angel, surrounded with wonderful brightness, appeared to them. The men, seized with fear at this apparition, knew not what to say or think. The Angel addressing them, said: “Fear not; for behold, I bring you good tidings of exceeding great joy, that shall be to all people. For this day is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David. And this shall be a sign to you: you shall find the child wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger.” Hardly had the Angel said this, when a multitude of heavenly Spirits appeared, praising God and saying: “Glory be to God on high, and on earth peace to men of good will.” The pious shepherds heard with astonishment the singing of the Angels, and, after they had seen them return to heaven, they said to one another: “Let us go over to Bethlehem, and let us see this word that is come to pass, which the Lord hath showed to us.”
They went hastily to Bethlehem, and found, in the stable, all that the Angel had told them: a lovely new-born Child, wrapped in poor swaddling-clothes, lying in a manger, and the Virgin Mother and St. Joseph kneeling beside it. Knowing from the words of the Angel and still more from a divine light, that this beautiful Child in the manger was the long-desired Saviour of mankind, it is not to be doubted that they worshipped Him with great reverence, and giving due thanks for the grace done to them, offered some gifts according to their station. After this they returned to their flocks, and praising the Lord, they related to others what they had heard and seen. So much is known to us from the Gospel of St. Luke concerning the Nativity of Our Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
The further considerations, to which we are led by this birth, are so manifold and so great that whole books filled with them, would not suffice to contain them all. Above all, we should consider the fact, that the only begotten Son of God saw the light of the world in so lowly a place, in the depth of winter and in the silence of the night. No doubt He could have celebrated His visible arrival in this world with grandeur and magnificence in the most noble palace in Jerusalem. But He did not, and why? St. Bernard writes: “Can we then believe that it was by chance that He was born in darkness and in the cold of winter, He who is Lord over winter and summer, day and night? Other children cannot choose the time of their birth, as they have neither reason nor liberty; but Christ, though man, was, as the Son of God, in the beginning with God, and was then the same wise and mighty God He is now. He, as the only begotten Son of God, who could choose for His birth whatever time He preferred, chose what was most painful and hard for a little child, especially the child of a poor mother, who hardly possessed a few swaddling-clothes to wrap it in.” He chose in everything what was most trying to human nature. And for what reason did He do this? The Holy Fathers give the following answers:
First, to show, in the most exquisite manner, His infinite love for us, and to move us to love Him in return. Had Christ been born at another time, in a palace, surrounded by luxuries, He would still have shown great love for us; but it could not have been compared with the love He manifested when born in such a night, in such abject poverty and in so lowly a place. Had He been born rich, we should have great cause to love Him; but how much more reason have we now to love Him, when we consider the manner, so full of love to us, in which He deigned to come into the world. Yes, our beloved Saviour, in the poverty of His birth, evinced His great love, and wishes to gain our entire heart. “He who desired to be beloved by us,” says St. Peter Chrysologus, “would be born in this and in no other manner.”
Secondly, Christ, our Lord, wished to show us, at His birth, the path that leads to heaven, and to teach by his example what later He would teach by words. “He announces in works, what He afterwards teaches with words,” says St. Bernard. Yes, not only He, but the stable, the manger, the swaddling-clothes speak to us, and point to the way we must walk, if we wish to derive benefit from the birth, the passion and death of our Saviour. The immoderate desire of the riches, honors and pleasures of this world, or, as St. John says, “the concupiscence of the flesh, the concupiscence of the eyes, and the pride of life,” are the principal sources of all vice, and the principal causes why so many men forfeit heaven and are cast into the depth of hell. The new-born Saviour teaches us, by his abject poverty, the deepest humility, and by voluntarily bearing so many discomforts of place and time, how we may overcome the three concupiscences, destroy the source of three most hurtful vices, and if we are solicitous about our salvation, to despise all that is temporal, or at least not to fasten our heart on it, but to live in due humility, and, by constant mortification, preserve our purity according to our station. The Saviour teaches all this by His example. Hence, the Holy Fathers called the manger, the pulpit of the Divine Child. We are all obliged to listen to this Teacher, who came down from heaven, and to live according to His precepts. The Heavenly Father says the same words now to us, which He proclaimed from heaven when our Saviour was baptized: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him!”
From these reasons why Christ was born in a stable, at so rough a time of the year, and in such humility, follows a twofold lesson for us, which I will add in the words of St. Bernard. The first is: “Let us love the Child in the manger,” because the new-born Saviour has so loved us, and desires that we should love Him in return. Let us love Him, but with our whole heart, and in works, not only with the tongue and in words, as He has loved us, not only in words, but in deeds. The second is: “Let us endeavor to resemble this Child in poverty, in humility and in despising temporal pleasures.” For here we see the truth of the words which, later in life, Christ spoke to His disciples, when He placed a little child in the midst of them: “If you do not become as this little child, you cannot enter heaven.” It is this we should especially consider, in regard to the nativity of Christ, on to-day’s festival. Besides, it should be remembered, that this is one of the oldest and most sacred feasts in the whole year, and was instituted by the Apostles themselves. The manger in which the Saviour was laid, and the stable in which He was born, have always been kept in great honor. The wickedness of the heathens erected, on the spot, a temple dedicated to Adonis, that the Christians might be prevented from visiting the holy place; but in the course of time, a magnificent Christian church was built in its stead. Many convents were established at Bethlehem, in one of which St. Jerome spent many years.
Later, the manger, sanctified by Christ, was taken to Rome into the Church of St. Mary Major, where it is still honored at this day. In the holy Chapel, at Paris, are preserved the swaddling-clothes in which the Divine Child was wrapped, and which St. Louis received as a gift from the Emperor Baldwin II. (9)
Adapted from The Liturgical Year by Abbot Gueranger
History of the Forty Days of Christmas
We apply the name of Christmas to the 40 days which begin with the Nativity of Our Lord, December 25, and end with the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, February 2. It is a period which forms a distinct portion of the Liturgical Year; as distinct, by its own special spirit, from every other, as are Advent, Lent, Easter or Pentecost. One same Mystery is celebrated and kept in view the whole 40 days. Neither the Feasts of the Saints, which so abound during this Season; nor the time of Septuagesima, with its mournful Purple, which often begins before Christmastide is over, seem able to distract our Holy Mother the Church from the immense joy of which She received the glad tidings from the Angels (Luke 2:10) on that glorious Night for which the world had been longing 4000 years. The custom of celebrating the Solemnity of Our Savior’s Nativity by a Feast or commemoration of 40 days’ duration is founded on the Holy Gospel itself; for it tells us that the Blessed Virgin Mary, after spending 40 days in the contemplation of the Divine Fruit of Her glorious Maternity, went to the Temple, there to fulfill, in most perfect humility, the ceremonies which the Law demanded of the daughters of Israel, when they became mothers.
The Feast of Mary’s Purification is, therefore, part of that of Jesus’ Birth; and the custom of keeping this holy and glorious period of 40 days as one continued Festival has every appearance of being a very ancient one, at least in the Roman Church. And firstly, with regard to Our Savior’s Birth on December 25, we have St. John Chrysostom telling us, in his Homily for this Feast, that the Western Churches had, from the very commencement of Christianity, kept it on this day. He is not satisfied with merely mentioning the tradition; he undertakes to show that it is well founded, inasmuch as the Church of Rome had every means of knowing the true day of Our Savior’s Birth; since the acts of the Enrollment, taken in Judea by command of Augustus, were kept in the public archives of Rome. The holy Doctor adduces a second argument, which he founds on the Gospel of St. Luke, and he reasons thus: we know from the sacred Scriptures that it must have been in the fast of the seventh month (Lev. 23, 24 et seq.) that the Priest Zachary had the vision in the Temple; after which Elizabeth, his wife, conceived St. John the Baptist (the ‘seventh month’ corresponded to the end of our September and beginning of our October). Hence it follows that the Blessed Virgin Mary having, as the Evangelist St. Luke relates, received the Archangel Gabriel’s visit, and conceived the Savior of the world in the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, that is to say, in March, the Birth of Jesus must have taken place in the month of December.
But it was not till the fourth century that the Churches of the East began to keep the Feast of Our Savior’s Birth in the month of December. Up to that period they had kept it at one time on the 6th of January, thus uniting it, under the generic term of Epiphany, with the Manifestation of Our Savior to the Magi, and in them to the Gentiles; at another time, as Clement of Alexandria tells us, they kept it on the 25th of the month Pachon (May 15), or on the 25th of the month Pharmuth (April 20). St. John Chrysostom, in the Homily we have just cited, which he gave in 386, tells us that the Roman custom of celebrating the Birth of Our Savior on December 25 had then only been observed ten years in the Church of Antioch. It is probable that this change had been introduced in obedience to the wishes of the Apostolic See, wishes which received additional weight by the edict of the Emperors Theodosius and Valentinian, which appeared towards the close of the fourth century, and decreed that the Nativity and Epiphany of Our Lord should be made two distinct Festivals. The only Church that has maintained the custom of celebrating the two mysteries on January 6 is that of Armenia; owing, no doubt, to the circumstance of that country not being under the authority of the Emperors; as also because it was withdrawn at an early period from the influence of Rome by schism and heresy.
The Feast of Our Lady’s Purification, with which the 40 days of Christmas close, is in the Latin Church of very great antiquity; so ancient, indeed, as to preclude the possibility of our fixing the date of its institution. According to the unanimous opinion of Liturgists, it is the most ancient of all the Feasts of the Holy Mother of God; and as Her Purification is related in the Gospel itself, they rightly infer that its anniversary was solemnized at the very commencement of Christianity. Of course, this is only to be understood of the Roman Church; for as regards the Oriental Church, we find that this Feast was not definitely fixed to February 2 until the reign of the Emperor Justinian, in the sixth century. It is true that the Eastern Churches had previously to that time a sort of commemoration of this Mystery, but it was far from being a universal custom, and it was kept a few days after the Feast of Our Lord’s Nativity, and not on the day itself of Mary’s going up to the Temple.
But what is the characteristic of Christmas in the Latin Liturgy? It is twofold: it is joy, which the whole Church feels at the coming of the divine Word in the Flesh; and it is admiration of that glorious Virgin, Who was made the True Mother of God. There is scarcely a prayer, or a rite, in the Liturgy of this glad Season, which does not imply these two grand Mysteries: an Infant-God, and a Virgin-Mother. For example, the magnificent Anthem, Alma Redemptoris, composed by the Monk Herman Contractus, continues up to the very day of the Purification to be the termination of the Divine Office. It is by such manifestations of Her love and veneration that the Church, honoring the Son in the Mother, testifies Her holy joy during this season of the Liturgical Year, which we call Christmas.
We are aware that, when Easter Sunday falls at its latest—that is, in April—the Ecclesiastical Calendar counts as many as six Sundays after the Epiphany. Christmastide (that is, the 40 days between Christmas day and the Purification) includes sometimes four out of these six Sundays; frequently only two; and sometimes only one, as in the case when Easter comes so early as to necessitate keeping Septuagesima, and even Sexagesima Sunday, in January. Still, nothing is changed, as we have already said, in the ritual observance of this joyous season, excepting only that on those two Sundays, the fore-runners of Lent, the vestments are violet, and the Gloria is omitted.
Although our Holy Mother the Church honors with special devotion the Mystery of the Divine Infancy during the whole season of Christmas; yet She is obliged to introduce into the Liturgy of this same season passages from the holy Gospels which seem premature, inasmuch as they relate to the active life of Jesus. This is owing to there being less than six months allotted by the Calendar for the celebration of the entire work of our Redemption: in other words, Christmas and Easter are so near each other, even when Easter is as late as it can be, that Mysteries must of necessity be crowded into the interval; and this entails anticipation. And yet the Liturgy never loses sight of the Divine Babe and His incomparable Mother, and never tires in Their praises, during the whole period from the Nativity to the day when Mary comes to the Temple to present Her Jesus.
The Greek Church too makes frequent commemorations of the Maternity of Mary in the Offices of this Season: but they have a special veneration for the twelve days between Christmas Day and the Epiphany, which in their Liturgy are called Dodecameron. During this time they observe no days of abstinence from meat; and the Emperors of the East had, out of respect for the great Mystery, decreed that no servile work should be done, and that the courts of law should be closed, until after January 6.

First Reading
Ephesians 4:7-16
Christ is the head from whom the whole Body grows and builds itself up in love.
Brothers and sisters: Grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore, it says:
He ascended on high and took prisoners captive; he gave gifts to men.
What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended into the lower regions of the earth? The one who descended is also the one who ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
And he gave some as Apostles, others as prophets, others as evangelists, others as pastors and teachers, to equip the holy ones for the work of ministry, for building up the Body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood to the extent of the full stature of Christ, so that we may no longer be infants, tossed by waves and swept along by every wind of teaching arising from human trickery, from their cunning in the interests of deceitful scheming. Rather, living the truth in love, we should grow in every way into him who is the head, Christ, from whom the whole Body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, with the proper functioning of each part, brings about the Body’s growth and builds itself up in love.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 122:1-2, 3-4ab, 4cd-5
R/ Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.
I rejoiced because they said to me,
“We will go up to the house of the Lord.”
And now we have set foot
within your gates, O Jerusalem.
R/ Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.
Jerusalem, built as a city
with compact unity.
To it the tribes go up,
the tribes of the Lord.
R/ Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.
According to the decree for Israel,
to give thanks to the name of the Lord.
In it are set up judgment seats,
seats for the house of David.
R/ Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.
Gospel Acclamation

Alleluia, alleluia.
I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked man, says the Lord,
but rather in his conversion that he may live.

Luke 13:1-9
If you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!
Some people told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with the blood of their sacrifices. He said to them in reply, “Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way they were greater sinners than all other Galileans? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did! Or those eighteen people who were killed when the tower at Siloam fell on them— do you think they were more guilty than everyone else who lived in Jerusalem? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!”
And he told them this parable: “There once was a person who had a fig tree planted in his orchard, and when he came in search of fruit on it but found none, he said to the gardener, ‘For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree but have found none. So cut it down. Why should it exhaust the soil?’ He said to him in reply, ‘Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it; it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down.’”

First Reading
Isaiah 52:7-10
All the ends of the earth will behold the salvation of our God.
How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings glad tidings,
Announcing peace, bearing good news,
announcing salvation, and saying to Zion,
“Your God is King!”
Hark! Your sentinels raise a cry,
together they shout for joy,
For they see directly, before their eyes,
the Lord restoring Zion.
Break out together in song,
O ruins of Jerusalem!
For the Lord comforts his people,
he redeems Jerusalem.
The Lord has bared his holy arm
in the sight of all the nations;
All the ends of the earth will behold
the salvation of our God.

Mark 1:14-20
I will make you fishers of men.
After John the Baptist had been arrested, Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the Gospel of God: “This is the time of fulfillment. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the Gospel.”
As he passed by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting their nets into the sea; they were fishermen.

First Reading
Genesis 3:9-15, 20
I will put enmity between your offspring and the offspring of the woman.
After the man, Adam, had eaten of the tree, the Lord God called to the man and asked him, “Where are you?” He answered, “I heard you in the garden; but I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid myself.” Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked? You have eaten, then, from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!” The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me– she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.” The Lord God then asked the woman, “Why did you do such a thing?” The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.”
Then the Lord God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, you shall be banned
from all the animals
and from all the wild creatures;
On your belly shall you crawl,
and dirt shall you eat
all the days of your life.
I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
He will strike at your head,
while you strike at his heel.”
The man called his wife Eve, because she became the mother of all the living.

Matthew 12:46-50
Stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, here are my mother and my brothers.
While Jesus was speaking to the crowds, his mother and his brothers appeared outside, wishing to speak with him. Someone told him, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, asking to speak with you.” But he said in reply to the one who told him, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

Alright, my friend, hear me out. A loyal friend and accomplice to the Main Three Dude Bros (being Lup Jig and Gom) who is also very best friends with Fujiko. Like, sure she betrays all of them A Lot, but she and Reader have lunch at some restaurant every 3rd Thursday to just chill and chat and stuff. Fujiko let's them braid her hair. Just good good friends despite the fact she betrays the group A Lot.
Yay, what a great request! I had fun writing it, especially the end. XD
Month 1
“Are you kidding me?” Jigen had positioned himself between you and the door.
“Yes, I am. Step aside, I’m already late.”
“She left you to die three days ago!”
You rolled your eyes at that. “She can’t be trusted, we all know that. And if you trust her, it’s your own fault if you are betrayed.”
“You and Lupin almost got killed.”
“She’s my only woman friend.”
“For what? Talking about tampons? Come on, tell me, I’ll talk to you.”
“Sure. And lending me your bras?”
He let out a heavy sigh. “Fine, just go.”
“Thanks, Jigen. I get where you are aiming at and it’s nice, but I like Fujiko a lot and those meetings are great.”
“Take care.” He stepped aside and let you out of the safehouse.
Month 2
“Do you think that’s wise?” Goemon didn’t rise from his position, but his quiet voice let you stop your steps towards the door.
“It’s just a friendly meeting of two friends.”
“With Mine Fujiko.”
“So?”
“You shouldn’t trust this woman.”
“Goemon, I’m an adult.”
“In body, yes.”
You looked at him and waited, giving him a meaningful look to be very careful with his next words.
“I’m not sorry for telling you the truth.” He ignored the look completely and once again you knew why this man had problems with women.
“I’m going now.”
“I’m coming with you. You seem to need someone with a clear head and rational thinking.”
“I do. That’s why I’m meeting with Fujiko alone and without you!”
“Don’t come crying when she hurts you.”
You knew that this words were just an empty threat. Goemon would always be at your side whenever you needed him. So you took your coat and left.
Month 3
“Can I come with you?”
“Lupin, for the sixth time: no.”
“Are you doing a sleepover? Putting on skimpy little pyjamas and having a pillow fight?” His ears glowed red already, his cheeks started to follow.
“We are meeting for dinner!”
“But after that?” he whined.
“After that I’m heading back home.”
“Can I come with you?”
You almost strangled the man, when he took your wrists in this hands and looked you into the eyes. His goofy attitude had vanished and he was more serious than most times.
“Whatever happens, keep your cellphone near. Call me, if anything happens.”
This brought a smile to your face.
“I will. But we are just eating, talking about girl stuff and men.”
“Can I come with you?” And he was back to normal.
Month 4
You saw her from afar. Looking stylish as always, she had secured a table in the back of the restaurant and waved when she spotted you.
“How are you?” The two of you hugged and sat down.
“Terrible. Jigen had got a cold last week and he was just nagging about everything. And how he snored!”
Fujiko laughed delightfully and ordered an expensive bottle of wine with a gesture.
“I still don’t get how you can live with those three. I would go crazy!” she admitted and reached over the table to grab your hand.
“But tell me: what about that nice inspector?”
You blushed so hard that you were afraid even the people in Africa could see your glowing face. He had been a surprise. Zenigata’s new partner. And whatever Zenigata lacked as a man, this new inspector had. The style, the looks, the manners. It had been love at first sight but given the situation you were in, it seemed to be hopeless.
“Maybe you should send him a signal that you’re into him?”
“Sure. A stupid card like Lupin?”
“Don’t be silly. What about that nice piece of cloth you are wearing right now down here?” She let her left foot wander up your leg and grinned like an innocent little girl before she started laughing at your incredulous expression.
“Fujiko!!”
Despite being shocked you just had to laugh with her when the waiter brought your drinks.
The evening grew later and later as you talked about the fat lady on the next table, the small but cute freckles of another waiter or about future plans of a vacation spend together.
“We should go to Rome,” you insisted since you loved the old city.
“No way. Paris it is. In two months will be the Fashion Week and I’m taking you with me to get all the nice outfits!”
“You just want to go to Paris because of that… what was he again? A broker?”
“Investor. And Pierre is outdated. Turned out he’s married.”
“Since when do you take care about that?”
She grinned. “Since his wife is the mistress of the leader of Interpol. I don’t need more trouble.”
“Cheers to that,” you raised your wine glass when Fujiko looked at you more closely and smiled.
“Your hair is a mess. Let me do it before we have to part.”
“I’m ho… what?”
You hadn’t even closed the door behind you as you stared into three faces.
“Had fun?” Jigen was the first next to you and poked his finger in your hair.
“Stop it, Daisuke!”
“No need to get personal, missy. So, had fun?”
You nodded and went to hang your coat and get out of your shoes.
“We were thinking…,” Lupin began, as you started laughing. “Is that the reason is smells of fire in here?”
“This oven is not made to make takoyaki,” Goemon complained.
“You burned down the kitchen trying to cook?”
“What about having a bit of ‘me-time’? Let’s say the month after next we all are going on our on merry ways?” Lupin grinned as if he just had announced the next huge heist.
“Why?” You didn’t trust him when he was like this.
“Just because.” He was the worst liar you had ever seen, but it worked for you.
“Sure.”
The three man looked at each other and nodded.
“Wait, did I miss something?”
2 months later
Paris still was a beautiful city and Fujiko had taken up to her promise to go on a shopping spree with you.
“Am I paranoid?” When you stopped at a little café to drink a cocktail you finally had to ask. The last 2 days you always had had the feeling to be watched.
Fujiko, sipping her colourful drink, smiled.
“No. It’s them.”
“’Me-time’ my ass,” you growled, before you got up and walked to the small alley where you had seen them last time.
“Lupin! Jigen! Goemon!”
A trash can sneezed. You kicked it.
“What are you doing here?”
Slowly the lid of the trash can was lifted and a sheepish looking Jigen emerged.
“They heard about our plans and wanted to snoop after us, I bet.” Fujiko had followed you and had taken a seat on another can which began to shake and curse.
“Okay, there we have Goemon. Jigen, where’s Lupin?”
The gunman didn’t hesitate to betray his friend as he pointed upwards.
“Hi, girls.”
It was a narrow alley, allowing the thief to jam himself between the two opposing walls.
“We were worried,” the trashcan under Fujiko hat stopped shaking but was now speaking clearly.
“Lupin, what do you know about the discovery of gravity?” You had seen something interesting with the thief hanging over you.
“Newton, tree, apple?” he guessed. You nodded and picked this something up.
“Now behold the law of equivalent exchange. Lupin, alley walls, thank you.” Without a second of hesitation you took every single bill and credit card out of his fallen purse.
“Wait!” You could only guess how much money you now had control of but it seemed Lupin did fully understand his situation now.
“Have fun in Paris, boys,” Fujiko grinned and took the bills you offered her. “The girls are going shopping now.”
“Come on! How can you betray us?” Jigen was desperate getting out of the trash can and obstructed Lupin in coming down.
“Betrayal is a woman’s accessory,” you cited Fujiko’s famous words before taking of with your friend to go on a shopping spree, sponsored by your beloved accomplices.
