Sweat trickled down Bill's brow and he hefted the canvas bag higher on his shoulder. One of the straps had snapped but the duo were too far from port at this point to justify going back for a new one. The past month, though quiet after the witch trauma, a beast had been wreaking havoc in the woods surrounding the pirate port. He'd volunteered to join the hunting party, and was slightly disappointed that only Sam had shown up. Bones was decent enough, but Bill knew the whole trip would be serious business without a few others to banter with. Of course, it was serious business, with four pirates lost to the vicious beast that had yet to be sighted. "You don't think we've scared it off, do ya?" He called ahead to Sam.

I like to think the two of them lived their lives before witnessing the end of Narrator's world. Then they'd go back to their god selves and tell them about mortals.

Narrator was a misguided soul, but I believe his purpose had good intentions. It'd be nice if he still made a difference. Maybe the two gods decided to give mortals a bit of mercy after experiencing the true terror of death as actual mortals for the first time.

You know a horse is a big animal even when you see them from afar in the fields you know they are tall. Yet when you get up close one you still can't help but think "damn that's a big guy"

All this to say I completely forgot this mf is 1m95 but hey c'mon Elias Rook wasn't trying to undermine you ! It's just a pleasant surprise to him since Elias tends to avoid Rook as much as he can outside of his animal magic shenanigans (in which he often gets caught by Rook and ofthen when he's a small not that cool critter, sigh...)
