      “ SANJI! ” The seafaring chef had better be prepared, as Kubo was not about to withhold his enthusiasm. The young bard came in for a hug, wrapping arms around the other’s torso. A YEAR had passed since their first meeting, and Kubo is now a little older, a little taller, and a little sadder. A YEAR is not much ; he’s only twelve, and still very young, but one might be surprised how much can happen in such a short time.

       “ It’s been SO LONG since I last saw you. What has you stopping back?! ”

The moment she captured his attention, her eyes widened and an audible gasp escaped her.  A flush of color rushed to her cheeks, and her brows pulled together - at the loud crash of the pan in the sink, she jumped  - hands raised to cover her mouth, to stifle the squeak that threatened to erupt out of her.  It had not been her intent to frighten him, but simply to observe the culinary mastery that he displayed.  Ensnared by more than just the aroma that was produced.  The man cooked with such passion, such devotion.  All with a lit cigarette, which hung from lips that were set in an expression of pure euphoria.

She took a few steps back as the window was pushed open, “I…I was just…I didn’t mean to…” Her tone was apologetic, and the abashment that showed in her face flared more intensely. “…I just wanted to see…I’ve never seen someone cook like you do.”  Now that the window was open, the scent that drew here there was more prominent, she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply.  Smiling as she exhaled, and when her eyes opened they set on his face.  “…whatever it is you are making, smells absolutely amazing.”

A friend of mine raided another friend's of mine stream a few hours ago. And she shared the art she was working on, which included a bear Ariel (a Beariel). We loved the idea, and after a while of considering it, we were encouraged to make our own version.
