9/18/24 Ittie Bittie here!! i got to support my owners as they coloured today! they got to use their Service Dog colouring book to help them cope wity not having one yet.. yet!! Dreamdrop will get their dog, us companions are sure of it!!

they got this cool colouring book of Amazon! it has service dog images to colour and even some service dog info on the side! might share those... in future.

i had top surgery 2 months ago, a cold knife conization 1 month ago, and a total hysterectomy 2 days ago

i feel horrendous and this is the hardest recovery yet but i am doing ok

if i had the energy i’d rewrite the whole post but i’m mostly writing to say that i lived and that i am so grateful for the outpouring of kindness and support from y’all over these last few months. this is hopefully the last surgery and it’s all up and up from here

Even putting them in two per slide, I couldn’t fit all of my Beanie Babies into this post! 🤣 But here’s the whole gang!! I didn’t buy ALL of the anniversary beanies, because I don’t want to get sucked into the completionism thing! 😝 I did splurge on many of them though, since my local beanie shop seemed to stop carrying anything but the Boos. I really like how neon most of them are; the only ones I purposefully passed on were the ones who were pretty much identical to their first releases. I had almost all of these beanies in my teenagehood, so seeing them in neons is a fun change, like catching a shiny in Pokémon! Especially with all the neon green! 🤣 I also cracked up at Batrick’s (the Beanie Boo bat) little feet!!! 🤣

TODAY WHILE I WAS WALKING IN TOWN WITH MY MOM, I WENT INTO A SMALL BOOK SHOP AND WAS LOOKING AT SOME TOYS. WHILE THERE I MET SOMEONE WHO WORKS AT THE BEANIE BABIES MARKETING AND DESIGN DEPARTMENT. THEY WERE REALLY NICE AND TOLD ME ABOUT SOME NEW TOYS THEY'RE MAKING IN THE COMPANY, I WAS HAVING FUN TALKING WITH THEM AND EXPRESSING SOME IDEAS FOR DIFFERENT TYPES OF COMFORT OR STRESS DOLLS FOR FIDGETING WITH (LIKE HOW THEY MADE SEQUIN DOLLS)

WE CHATTED FOR A WHILE AND I EXPLAINED HOW IMPORTANT SOME OF THESE TOYS ARE FOR PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT SENSITIVE ISSUES. MY MOM EVEN ADDING INSITE (2ND HAND) EXPERIENCE OF HOW SHE USE TO GET BEANIE BABIES FOR ME AND MY SIBLINGS WHEN WE WERE TEETHING AS INFANTS. THE PERSON SAID THIS WAS ALL REALLY GOOD INFO AND SAID THEY'D BRING IT UP WITH THE MANUFACTURER.

AFTER THAT THEY GAVE ME 4 PROTOTYPE DOLLS THEY HAD AND IF EVERYTHING GOES WELL GET TO SEE THEM AGAIN WHEN I GO TO MARKET NEXT WEEK, I'M MAKE A PAINTING FOR THEM BASED ON THE DOLLS THEY GAVE ME.
