Woke up at the good awful hour of 4:15 to try and get on an early flight out, but I missed it by one person. Had to wait for my original flight, which was delayed an hour. I sprinted through the airport to make it, knowing if I missed it I wouldn’t get in until 9pm or later. I’m not flying standby next time - the stress is too great.

Although this does help cure my anxiety about flying (not anxious about the actual flying it’s really the security theater that gets to me). I’m flying to London Saturday for work and feel much less worried than normal.

I am now laying in bed with Oscar feeling so tired.
