violet evergarden update (spoilers ahead!!): finished the anime last night and tbh I was satisfied with the ending. tried watching the movie but I already was happy with how the anime finished so I felt no need to continue with it. in terms of Violet & Major Gilbert’s relationship ~ their age cap really do be playing at the back of my mind through the whole season because she’s so young?? maybe that’s why I kinda viewed his love for her in a more fatherly love type way tho I’m fairly certain that’s not where the creator’s were tryna take us lmao…anyways imma just leave it at the anime and just let the Major stay dead. rip pops.

animation wise ~ ooof it was bea-uti-ful!!! ughhh every scene threatened to put me in a daydream of my own. and the characters themselves were stunning!! (@ the Bougainvillea brothers 🤤👀)

soundtrack ~ gave me chills. literal chills. every new track was perfect and wasn’t overdone, like it matched the emotion of the current scene which I loved. And also the opening and ending soundtracks of the episodes *chefs kiss*.
