|Villa Emo Capodilista| Also called La Montecchia, is a Venetian villa built as a hunting lodge in the '600 century on top of a hill called Montecchia, from Latin “monticula”, little mount).  The name Emo Capodilista is the name of a noble Venetian family. The Capodlista family got the feuds and the title of nobility thanks to the services rendered in the battlefield. Together with other painters of the century, such as Luca Giordano, Francesco Solimena, Massimo Stanzione, Mattia Preti, Aniello Falcone, Salvator Rosa, Bernardo Cavallino, Battistello Caracciolo and Fabrizio Santafede, he was one of the most important exponents of Neapolitan painting.
