It’s not our fault for who we choose to love in this lifetime. It’s not our fault that those we love eventually decide that one day it’s time for them to walk away. It never was our fault.

Because we never walked away. We chose to stay. Despite the good and the bad. Be it our romantic lovers, our friends, or our family. We stayed because we believed in the goodness of their hearts. And we bleed in silence as trust is broken. We cry in silence because one day they decided you weren’t worthy or good enough to be with them.

But know this in that silence of your aching heart, it’s not your fault that those you cherished and loved weren’t there anymore. Because those who have come to pass will forever remain in your heart with the same tenderness and love.

They will continue to be loved in the memories you held dearly every single day. And will continue to be loved in the future as you walk through those doors into a new dawn.

Tumblr has been my safe space for quite a while now, and it is greatly upsetting me that people are trying to desecrate it. I've had so much fun interacting with all these rp accounts, and it gets sadder and sadder as I see these people I consider friends having to deactivate. It got a little sad when Ominis left, and it kinda got a little less from there. There's no longer hlc rp blogs filling up my feed (which i used to dislike, but i now greatly miss) Whatever makes you guys feel the most comfortable, I will always support. Life goes on, but I'm still sad about it. I wish everyone who's struggling a great future, and if you need to leave for the sake of your health, you should of course do it. I'll miss the Garreth and Sebastian blogs, and I already miss the Ominis blog, but again, life goes on.

As gen-AI becomes more normalized (Chappell Roan encouraging it, grifters on the rise, young artists using it), I wanna express how I will never turn to it because it fundamentally bores me to my core. There is no reason for me to want to use gen-AI because I will never want to give up my autonomy in creating art. I never want to become reliant on an inhuman object for expression, least of all if that object is created and controlled by tech companies. I draw not because I want a drawing but because I love the process of drawing. So even in a future where everyone’s accepted it, I’m never gonna sway on this.
