Do you feel like being trapped by routine? Do you feel like being a victim of the mundane? Do you feel like going through the process of repetition, day in and day out? Then I guess, its a sign to step back. The mind can really play tricks on you when you start getting used to do things on regular basis. It literally shuts down itself to any scope of releasing the dopamine and serotonin chemicals because by now you have accepted the repeated state of affairs. There isn't anything new. There isn't anything innovative. It becomes a constant circle, going round and round and round endlessly. It becomes a pattern almost on an autopilot mode. Even the words you utter in a day and night cycle becomes like parroting and mimicking. There's no scope whatsoever for growth, for the mind to evolve and expand. Pause, reflect and break free. Do things out of spontaneity. Break a habit. Build a new one. Take a new hobby. Excite your cells in being intrigued at something you haven't done before. Go against the regular. Give your mind something different. Take a different path, one that's never been taken before. Say yes to new experiences whatever it be. Give yourself a reason to tell - why didn't I do this before! Meet new people. Read more books. Learn how other cultures have been evolving. Try some new language even if it be with one new word a day. This constant pushing forth beyond your limits is what will make life worth living. And never be scared of challenges and change. Come out of your comfort zone. Swim through new channels of waters and be thrilled at the very adventure of reaching the other side of the shore. Now pause and ask - 'when was the last time you did something for the first time?!'

absolutely losing it at the polar opposite perspective we get on darth vader during rebels. kanan and ezra encounter him and there's a dramatic lead up to the cameo and they're like "who the FUCK is that???". they fight him and lose terribly. at least until they drop several tons of heavy machinery on him. but then he survives! and then they're like "if that won't kill him what can?!" "not us. let's go!". there's no drama, no extremely emotional dialogue, no agony over the man he used to be and the monster he became. just "hey what is that? a SITH LORD? that sounds like 1-800-NOT OUR PROBLEM!!!" and then they go back to doing whatever they normally do
