More Walter and Gabriel? 👁👁 perchance?

Critical roll - I don't even know what timeline this is anymore

CW: Parental whumper, chained, captive

Gabriel shakily pulled his pant leg up. The thick cold chain had been left on his ankle far too long and was starting to bruise.

Sometimes the man felt kind enough to give him a break and take it off. With strict supervision, of course, but his mood had been sour lately.

He could ask, and would probably get it; but the thought of approaching the man and speaking to him willingly threw the pit of his stomach in a storm.

His ankle wasn't looking well, however.

He swallowed past the pit in his throat and stood behind Walter, who was on the couch reading the latest newspaper. It was the only news the man consumed, and Gabriel was forbidden from it.

Probably because his sudden disappearance was still being printed. He saw a glimpse of it once in the trash can. 'Search for Missing Man Intensifies: Vehicle Still Unfound, Whereabouts Unknown. Authorities Urge Public to Report Sightings.'

"Can I ask for something?" Gabriel softly spoke. Walter tilted his head back, his once scorn expression turning soft.

"My Dove," He smiled and extended his hand for Gabriel to take. He didn't want the man to grab him but didn't dare disobey. His hand was taken as Walter pulled him onto the couch beside him.

"Look at you speaking up. What is it I can do for you, my son?" Walter hummed and stroked his face. Gabriel huffed and blinked his eyes closed. He gritted his teeth hoping his voice won't come out in terror.

The man didn't seem to like that kind of voice. Said it made him feel like a "monster" to see Gabriel terrified of him.

"The chain," Gabriel half stuttered. "It's bruised and starting to hurt. Can you.... Do something?" He asked.

He watched the man's eyes dart to his ankle and stiffen. "Oh, Dove, I forgot about that. Why didn't you say something sooner?" Walter scolded. He reached to his belt and unhooked his dozen-keyed ring. It jingled as he fiddled for the right one, then waved his hand.

"Leg up, on my knee." He ushered. Gabriel sighed as he lifted his leg into Walter's lap. He winced as Walter firmly gripped his ankle and he felt eyes burning his soul.

"Do you remember the rule?" Walter asked lowley.

"Never to leave your sight." Gabriel quoted in a mimicking tone.

"That's my boy." Walter beamed up as he ruffled Gabriel's hair. There was a rusty click as the chain popped off his leg and was lowered to the floor. The lack of weight felt overwhelmingly freeing. Gabriel pulled his leg out of the man's lap and curled them to his chest, rubbing his ankle.

"Thanks." He flatly mumbled into his leg. He knew the rule; he was not to leave the man's presence. They watched a movie, he helped cook dinner and he played the piano with the man lingering over him the whole time.

He hated every second of it. But having the chain off was even better.

I've been torn on how to do Loop's body for the entirety of lining, also

A bit sad the main lines are visible only as a wip, most of this thing is literally just a ton of sharp lines

I think it's also my first day of drawing, Loop is just a sketch here (feat. my leg)

I even finished the beans before it so they were a moral support, because if you let me things like this take a year

How Do You Do, Fellow Humans?

Now, Fright Knight is a very experienced ghost. He's served millennia, gone through the whole ordeal that was Pariah Dark, tolerated the Observants, and generally has a large area of competence.

But perhaps he should expand his skillset.

As he was guarding an outing of the Royal family, his Queen had inquired of his pastimes. He had answered with his duties.

"I mean, you should definitely get out some more, dude. Chill a bit. Not in the Far Frozen sense."

The Princess had agreed, saying that traveling would be quite the eye opening experience for him

His Queen assured him that the royal family could suffice without his presence "for a year or two, just make sure to visit."

So the Knight of Autumn sets out to find a mortal settlement that will work. He comes across Gotham City and its respective city spirit, Lady Gotham. She graciously invites him in, and he vows to remember her contribution. She merely gives an amused smile.

Within Gotham City, Fright Knight comes across a mortal woman controlling plant life, and even if subconsciously, follows her due to the familiarity to another ghost the Queen had "known."

She has a rendezvous with another mortal woman, and they go inside a house/haunt that radiates their love. Fright Knight stands outside of it for a week straight, attempting to deduce a way for him to meet them.

Harley, on the other hand, had just opened the door at like, 2:48 in the morning and her hyenas shoot straight out the door and around the house, barking. They jump around the legs of- a giant suit of armor? Really? Just staring at the wall, is it?

Gotham, truly, is delightful.

ZOO KEEPER 141

Big cat bastard Ghost who absolutely tricks you into the enclosure by telling you the lions were in the back and then delights as you absolutely freak out thinking you are going to die.

Gaz at all times has a little trail of penguins behind him those little bastards adore this man and in fact nip at you whenever you get near him (he makes a point to always get near you because he finds angry penguins attacking you very funny).

Soap has not once told you the truth about how dangerous the insects, arachnids, or snakes he has made you hold for photos are. He does enjoy watching when you later read the little plaques and go a funny shade of green at how close you came to a very grusome demise.

Price is frequently making national news because he is teaching the gorilla's sign language (and telling them your name is good girl so that they sign it at you whenever you walk past that enclosure).

You reckon you could get them all back given how much your wolves seem to like you, but it's sort of weird that the four most playful and safe ones are never about at the same time as the 141 :')

finally got around to drawing some hermits and i just had to start with the trio!!!

tried to keep things pretty simple and had fun with shapes. tango is definitely my favorite to draw lol
