tbh at first i was like, a lil confused that javier didn't go up to check on lloyd esp since javier is so willing to do anything to protect lloyd. its clear too that he knows abt lloyd's heart freezing,,, though i suppose at the same time, javier trusts lloyd's word so much that when the noble says he'll be fine, javier accepts it as he always has,,, either way his desire to run to protect lloyd and his willingness to trust that lloyd will be okay are both very sweet,,, the mutual trust always makes me so happy,,,,,,, ohhh javier ilysm,,,,,,

i am glad then that alicia went up to go check on him and that javier is reassured by this!!! look at his smile ooohhh hehehee

i think choosing to have javier trust his queen instead of sowing conflict btwn the two is rlly nice, tho mostly bc i am biased bc i tend to prefer sweet reliability over infighting,,, he trusts her to take care of lloyd the way javier would take care of lloyd,,, (is this alillovier propaganda? perchance,,, /lh)

though smth to note here, i am quite confused as to why javier's mana is suddenly rejected when he tries to absorb it? but alicia's works just fine? and javier has shared mana with lloyd before, my mutual reminded me of the namaran wall arc where siluria and javier both help lloyd with absorbing the hell knight,,, however the fact that javier's mana components have yet to break the law of causality during this arc, aka he wasnt a grandmaster yet. maybe bc of his status as a grandmaster now, where he has the same otherworldy mana lloyd does, that makes it not possible to properly absorb the mana?

alternatively, javier technically is never fated to die/be transformed in the original story, whereas lloyd should be dead and alicia should be tainted with dark magic, so bc the two of them have warped their fates at the moment, it works? and javier's doesnt bc he's technically not? idk if that makes any sense,,, i was told by my mutual that javier has shared mana with lloyd a lot in the novel before, so i'm not sure why they made this change! i hope they expand on it a lil in the future,,,

also, while i'm yapping here, i like that alicia is straightforward abt what she likes abt lloyd, but i wish they got to have a longer conversation than this,,, like this is a good start but it didn't really go anywhere (besides some really wonderful panels of lloyd but i mean like, narrative-wise lol)

as i mentioned in my last liveblog, alicia and suho share a lot more common experiences than they probably realize! and i think if they got a chance to talk about that, talking about their past circumstances, how they became who they are now, and just more in general on what led alicia to fall for lloyd besides what he's capable of,,, this ship would actually sail pretty well, yknow?

unfortunately though with the pacing of the manhwa and i guess just their episode length requirements in general, it makes sense that they couldn't get to that,,, i just wish it happened,,, maybe in snippets in future episodes? but seeing as we're getting pretty close to the end afaik, the chances are slim

i mainly love llovier but i also really love alilloyd, and i think alilloyd as a whole would have a much better leg to stand on if they actually talked about their experiences and had more instances of saving each other, of supporting each other, the way javier does with lloyd. it's too few and too far between for alicia and lloyd, so it feels like it's flatter than what it could be, y'know?

a part of me hopes that they did get to do that in the novel, but from what i recall hearing, alilloyd didn't have a strong leg in the novel either,,, i distantly recall someone telling me that the manhwa is actually doing alilloyd stronger justice than the novel did (i may be misremembering tho so don't quote me on that lol), and seeing as the manhwa's interpretation of alilloyd is so few and far between as is,,,, it makes me worried that the novel never actually got to touch upon how their relationship evolves (if im wrong, please correct me!!!)

i just want them to do well,,, they're super cute,,, please,,, ueueueue

anyway,,, this leads us to probably my FAVORITE panel of this week,,, this one of lloyd completely flushed EEE EHEHEHHEHEHEHHEE

I YELPED WHEN I SAW THIS,,, I LOVE THAT ALICIA FALLS FIRST AND THEN LLOYD FALLS SO MUCH HARDER THAT'S FUCKING ADORABLE. methinks it's like that with javier too. lloyd falling and tripping up over realizing someone has romantic affection for him is probably one of my favorite things EVER. that's adorable. I LOVE HIM AAAHHH CUTE CUTE CUTE

one last thing to mention is just that,,, it seems like theres a mage messing w the weather conditions up in the mountains and i aaaam a lil worried that itll kickstart fate for alicia,,,, esp considering we,,, havent seen worthroad in a while. whatever that guys name was,,, what if its him and he's gonna fuck everything up!?? im really worried for them,,, please be okay,,,

and that's all for this week! i really REALLY enjoyed this episode,,, the panels and art were so so good, and while there were some things i wished would happen i think it was still really good overall, it gave me a lot to talk about! the gags were balanced and their interactions were so fun,,, yay!

(i genuinely dont think that soda actually hates curly. annoyed by him? yes absolutely. but curlys just another kid and if he makes pony happy, alright then😒)

•theres nothing soda does that rlly antagonizes curly, soda doesnt know curlys schedule for the day, neither does he rlly care to!! so for on lookers it truly just looks like its a one sided beef of curlys part😭

•even when soda tries to annoy curly on the rare times that he sees the dude, curlys heard wayyyyy worse, he thinks its so funny to hear soda try to push him away so he tries seeing soda here n there for entertainment. THATS sodas charm to curly, curly likes soda overall!!! soda can try to think of cursing combinations and pick up ones he hears on the street all he wants, curlys loving the attention

•curly will come into the dx w his rowdy friends and act like the place is a fast food joint, y r u at the register asking “yea can i get uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh🤔🤔” BE SERIOUS!!!! if the dx sold rolling paper for joints i promise u curly would ask for it all the time and nothing else, maybe a chocolate bar but thats as far as it goes. hes in there for 20 minutes only to ask for rolling paper.

•lowkey their odd relationship has been around WAYYYY back when soda used to go to school, but it was obviously more laid back bc curly didnt care much for curly, he just messed w him for the love of the game. it was small things too like just giving soda shitty pens/pencils, pushing the chair from under him, dropping milk on him, all that jazz, just treating soda like everyone else but without the actual verbal abuse part😭😭😭

•soda got put into lower level classes, like classes w the freshmans and those were the only classes where he would entertain curlys bs, soda didnt rlly know anybody else so curly being there was a semi relief cause he could joke around a bit and get his GET BACKS🗣️🗣️bring up the time soda set a thumbtack on curlys chair and curly will strangleeeee u

•these two would definitely throw water balloons at each other. well SODA would, cause hes a FAIR, silly and SIMPLE guy. curly would fill a big ziploc bag cause he wants the BIGGEST amount of water to splash on that guy, curlys a cheater to the highest degree!!! although sometimes it wouldnt break upon impact immediately, so curly just through a bag of water at soda for no reason and now sodas face feels off

•would it b crazy of me to say that during the shepard vs curtis rumble, curly took his opportunity to slap the hell out of soda. didnt punch him, didnt target him the whole time, just slapped him here and there and moved on to someone else. till this day soda doesnt know who did it 100% bc his eyesight was a lil blurry, but he has an idea that it was curly

•soda likes shaking up the can of soda curly always steals when hes over/DEMANDS for him to get “cause im a guest”. everyone in the gang knows the trick of how to stop it from overflowing when its shaken bc lord knows nobody in that gang cant hold it without dropping some cans, so they just do it everytime before opening one as precaution, but curlys clueless on it so everytime he opens a can, its either it spills all over him or he has to quickly chug and choke❤️

•as a joke curly likes lighting his lighter near ppl to see them freak out, but bc soda is just a ball of energy, curlys accidentally set one of his flannels on fire A LITTLE BIT before he put it out and not sodas flannel as a piece if it thats just flat out burnt. thats the closest to hating curly soda has ever got

he also congratulated kdj when he became sys's sponsor (isnt he cute) and then kdj went on a tangent about how theres no way sp is ordinary cuz no glucose guardian can possibly be weak and ordinary regardless of the simple titles

rudy never was one to sleep early, in all honesty he seemed to do the complete opposite. he would always go to bed hours later after you. you never understood why.

it wasn't anything that made you suspicious, he wouldnt go far, most of the time he would still be at home, just outside. it was just odd, but it didnt seem like anything bad?

one night you woke up and there was an unfamiliar emptiness beside you, rudy wasnt there next to you like he was right before you fell asleep

its the middle of the night what else would this guy be doing at 2am??

so you're panicking a bit, you wake up and your boyfriend isnt next to you. sure maybe hes just pissing but you're tired and logic isnt the first thing that comes to mind

you call out for him, your throat a bit dry after you've just woken up and it comes out a bit more panicked than you intended

you sit up, eyes scanning the room looking for him- any sign of him

a sigh of relief leaves your lips, he's there. he's in your bedroom, back turned to you as he gazes upwards, out the window.

as soon as he hears his name his head whips around, why are you panicking?? whats going on?? did something happen? did you have a nightmare? most importantly, are you okay?

but he hears your sigh and you mumble something under your breath. he closes the curtains and walks towards you, gently cupping your cheek

"qué pasa?" "sorry i just- you weren't next to me and i just panicked" "nothing to be sorry for."

his voice is soft, barely above a whisper. he runs his thumb along your cheekbone, holding your cheek so tenderly it feels like you're about to melt

"it's okay. im right here."

"what were you doing?" you ask him, its about damn time he tells you anyways and you're getting curious about his strange nighttime habit "you'll find out tomorrow. its better if its a surprise." he kisses your forehead and climbs back into bed with you. "what if i dont want it to be a surprise?" "well thats not up to you. now go to sleep, cariño"

one his arms snake around your waist, the other making its way under your head, like a pillow but better

the next night, as soon as it gets dark he finally lets you in on his not so secret secret.

he grabs your hand, your fingers intertwining with his and leads you outside to a picnic blanket

"its a bit late for a picnic." you say with a yawn

he rolls his eyes as he walks over to the blanket, lying down flat on his back. you do the same, curious to what his next move was.

"stop looking at me and look up" he says with a chuckle

you listen to him and look up, hundreds of stars scattered in the distant sky. its calm, the sounds of the crickets chirping, his hand in yours, your back flat against the picnic blanket, its so serene you almost forget to breathe

"i used to do this all the time when i was younger." rudy says, breaking the silence "i would set up a mat outside and me and alejandro would lie there for hours until my mamá would yell at us to come back inside"

you look over at him, just for a second and catch him smiling as he reminisces

"i like to look at the stars when i get overwhelmed. reminds me i how small i am in the universe" "thats a bit melancholic, dont you think? the idea that we're so much smaller than the universe. like we dont matter as much as we think" you say, "i dont think of it like that. its like the world is bigger than my problems, it continues and theres so much more than just my troubles." he replies, eyes fixated on the stars "well when you put it that way, it sounds pretty nice"

the next few minutes are spent with rudy teaching you some basic constellations like the big and small dipper and then moves onto the more complex ones like ursa minor, andromeda and orion.

each constellation he points out comes with a story, as great as they look you cant help but watch him as he tells you all about them. its something he loves so deeply, you can tell from the way the corners of his mouth turn upwards as he describes them to you, the look of amazement in his eyes even though he's seen the stars hundreds of times. you cant help but fall more for him with every word he says

"i wish we met earlier. before when i was younger you could see so much more than just ...this. i wish i could've shown it to you" his tone becomes slightly bittersweet.

you don't exactly know what to say, you just wrap an arm around his torso, you mutter a soft "i know" right before you press a kiss to his cheek

the next time you two go stargazing its when you go camping together, although sure its not just in your backyard its as close as you can get with just enough clarity in the sky to see everything rudy wanted to show you :]

sure! umm this is gonna be messy sorry if anythings incoherent. ill walk u thru this segment of the pkradi hollow fight bc theres a lotta layers. heres the shot for reference

aaand heres a breakdown of the layers (called tracks in sony vegas but im just gonna keep calling them layers) from top to bottom

heres the foreground! where i wanna place shit that goes in front of the characters and background

heres where the characters will be placed! sandwiched between the foreground and background, they get more frames (as shown by the smaller segmented images on the timeline) opposed to set pieces which is usually just 1 image, which means we gotta approach tweening w the characters differently since there are a lot more images! ill explain that after this initial breakdown

and heeeres all the background shenanigans. not much to add here. those sure are background frames

RIGHT now to the tweening. when tweening 1 image/frame whateva you're gonna wanna use pan/crop (located on the image, that lil box with a crop around it icon), use this for stuff that only really needs 1 image, like a background. because its easier. like you could use track motion for everything i guess but pan/crops nice and easy and doesnt give me a headache she treats me nice and good

but uh yea so youll start with a little keyframe at the beginning, drag the pan/crop timeline to the end and click the little + sign to create a keyframe! then from there move the pan/crop box (the one with an F on it lmao) around and kablammo. Movement. usually with backgrounds its just a simple panning to the left or right, like how i did it for this shot! but you can do lots more like zoom and angle it etc

aand when you wanna tween across multiple images in a layer/track you're gonna head on over to your layer/track and hit that funny little track motion button aand youll be greeted with a pan/crop lookin thing except its like. for the whole layer/track instead. so the timeline is waaay bigger since it covers the whole thing. but umm yes same principle as pan/crop basically, except youll now need to insert "hold" keyframes right after your final keyframe, copy and paste a keyframe with all the positions defaulted (im gonna assume youre using 1920 x 1080 since its the standard)

like so and then right click a grey keyframe and choose "hold". this stops everything from fucking up and flying between each keyframe basically LMAOO the Hold is it waiting for your next keyframe that is Not a hold. if that makes sense. anyways yea only worry about that for track motion JUST because it works with the entire track/layer, with pan/crop you can ignore this

BUT YEAH thats my silly little sony vegas tweening guide i hope that helps!! umm i have another tutorial also so u can check that out too if youd like :D

Inks tattoos are NOT consistent! They change constantly no ones ever seen them change or move but every time ppl see him they r different n no ones quite sure why or how (they just sillay like that :D)

Error n Nightmare are canonically married. no ones quite sure how or when that happened or. why (are they in love romantically? the answer is debatable. they are married!!) this has no relevance to most of the story they r both just freaks like that (affectionate)

Ok slightly lore relevant but i wanna add this one too so error doesnt really? exist properly in time??? bcs technically error is one of the "younger" created gods but also it kinda. slipped thru a crack in reality and thats how we ended up here (antivoid) so its not just taht it has a bad idea or weird perception of time it just. physically exists outside of linear time. so error technically became way after nightmare but nightmare knew error as existing before her bcs of errors time fuckery. nightmare is aware of how error functions but the only one(s) who can properly perceive time before error existed and after are reaper and life. Ink also doesnt really exist properly in time but in a less obvious way? ink has a definitive start of creation date but is aware of everything that happened before that he just didnt exist in it,,, after his creation tho? very debatable how he works in time. the only ones hes really close to is dream n error and dream is not sure and you will never get a proper answer out of error lmfao

next up!!!!! agent 4. i have two of those. they independently became agent 4 and then unrelatedly also became college roommates.

hash is more of a canon adjacent agent 4. poser, loser, really dramatic and really loud. kidna does whatever they want and also likes to leave graffitti on the kettles they clear. theyre also an only child. they also call marie mom jsut to annoy her. also their hairstyle is the bob in the front but the back is spiky/shaved. theyre a silly lil punk.

ikarus is a cynical asshole. and also a self centered poser whos set on looking cool for whoevers watching. he has 2 younger siblings and 1 older sister. hes from outside greater inkopolis, thinks hes better than the in city inkopolitans but behaves the exact same. he sucks i love him. he really looks up to n respects marie bc she reminds him of his elder sister. his fav brand is toni kensa

ikarus got the agent job first, n got rlly mad when they found out that theres another agent 4 bc he didnt show up enough nd marie just hired someone else. they share a uniform. they try to annoy eachother by puttinf the weirdest smelling stuff in the uniform b4 leaving it at the canyon. when talking ab em as agent 4 i like to use #4 for hash and n°4 for ikarus

the two also have a 3rd roommate

she doesnt have a name though. and if she does i forgot it :(

the three actually make a pretty good unit in their apartement. hash and ikarus only find out theyre both agent 4 when its time for the boss fight and both of them show up to get it done with. theyre both very competitive. they end up fighting over it and hash wins. ikarus is on the truck w sheldon and marie and is yelling insults at the battlefield until marie shuts him up so she can sing.

thw three roommates also always do salmon run shifts together. if they fuck up on a wave they always blame it on the one freelancer. yes they also kiss.

theyve always been really fascinated with inklings and also were going to become an engineer before running off and landing in the metro.

they are very well spoken but also pretty shy. they try to make a good impression on people. finds it hard to trust others.

theyre usualyl the one forcing three into at least okay looking clothes. oh also this tall loser likes to wear heels n platforms. hes literally taller than marina and still wears heels.

oh also they're not THAT good at fighting (they were never a soldier) theyre smart and persistent though. still ended up severely in debt w pearl bc of the metro. pearl offered he can just work as stage crew for off the hook for a few tours or so and theyre good. he took the offer immediately bc bro barely got income to repay that all normally.

rewatching the stream where fundy n phil meet michael and i remembered how pissed it makes me lmaoo upset ramblings under da cut bc it got long kjfskjsj

 the beginning where phil n ranboo drown him is ehh but i let it slide bc it pales in comparison to the tower fjssklskl they rlly made fundy jump from a tall ass tower over and over just to get back his stuff (which!! he didnt even rlly want most of it back tbh!!!!! just the shclatt sword :[ ) and killed him repeatedly. i get that they dont like him (well tbh its mostly phil although tubbo n ranboo certainly dont object) but hes very non confrontational and docile during this visit even as hes getting drowned and just jkjldlskldkssld despite all that he still wants to go along with them to see michael and thats a whole other disaster. 

i think fundy is one of the few ppl whos given legitimate criticism of the beeduos treatment of michael and is in a place to give that criticism?? like the direct parallels between fundy n michael are Right There and it sucks. it sucks so much. his whole point is just straight up ignored too in favor of the argument ‘michael is a mob’ bc that point is just bad. michael cannot be treated as both a mob and a child bc those hold very different statuses in the dream smp. if beeduo wanted to canonize him being straight up sentient or a hybrid then thatd be different but like. they have to choose one or the other, they cant just switch to whatever benefits them the most in that moment. michael, a mob, dying would be awful because beeduo is attached to him as a particularly special pet. michael, a CHILD, dying would be downright horrific because it would be beeduo losing their very young son. if hes killed then its the same argument. a pet killer and a child killer are drastically different things. 

if michaels a mob then of course fundys idea of he might want a lil freedom is a bit silly. if michaels a child tho then fundy is completely right in that its wrong of them to keep him locked up. ive seen ppl miss fundys point entirely too and point out that clearly the beeduo love michael bc theyre giving him a huge ass manison. the problem isnt that his bedroom is small (well it is but less severe) but that hes not allowed outside or to see anyone other than beeduo and rare visitors. beeduo can give him the biggest mansion they can buy but it doesnt change anything. wilbur gave fundy an entire COUNTRY and it still wasnt enough to salvage their relationship. 

speaking of wilbur, ranboos snarky comment abt how fundys relationship with his dad wasnt the best either was fucked up and it made me feel gross. fundys relationship with wilbur is literally what makes him such a good (if not slightly biased) judge of the situation?? hes BEEN in michaels role before and he has a unique perspective on it. his suggestions werent even that bad, they were literally like ‘maybe take him outside occasionally’ or ‘let people come hang out w him’. tommy straight up said he wanted to kill michael multiple times and the beeduo was less hostile to him. also when fundy was killed in michaels room and he was like ‘hey please dont let michael accidentally grab my stuff’. and everyone was like ‘lmaoo what a fuckin loser sure hope this mob doesnt grab your lore related weapon and netherite gear’. then fundy got mad and said hed kill michael if he grabbed any of his stuff, which is completely reasonable??? fundy was killed, he didnt die by accident, and hed been nothing but kind to michael directly even after being told hes technically a mob. hes allowed to decide that the life of one pet is worth getting his very important heavily grinded items back. beeduo are like ‘we’ll make ur life living hell if u kill michael’ like they werent the ones who killed him and threatened to let his stuff despawn. phil shows a bit of mercy but its immediately taken back. bc phil, fuckin phil that bitch, taunts him by hiding some of his stuff in his inventory to bait him into killing michael. 

im probs gonna stop it here but im so fuckin genuinely pissed bc the entire stream is like that and from a lore pov its just the fucking worst. theres nothing to justify them treating fundy like that in any way when fundy has done so little to any of them jsfssdklsdks grrrrrrr
