Minutes after this was posted, I was tagged also by @rookamell and so I decided, to edit the post, instead of waiting till tomorrow and reblog with a tag, because I will forget.... So thank you for your tag, too. <3 Wow, this is making rounds tonight. Got also tagged by @ofcrowsanddragons - thank you a lot. I'll just edit another time :)

Guardian Angel (Paused) - No wonder, it's a Cullenmancer thing which I collabbed with a friend back then. (95 kudos) In the shadows - Thorin Oakenshield and ambiguous female character. Steamy, but no smut. (59 kudos) naughty - a gift for a friend back in the days, a letter exchange between Cullen and her Lavellan. A little bit smutty, I'd say, but mostly cute. (57 kudos) Masks - A gift for a friend back then, who was in dire need of something cute Cassandra x f!inquisitor (52 kudos) Campnight Encounter - Blackwall and my main Inky Arya Trevelyan and their first time, in a tent somewhere in the Western Approach. 5K+ smut with plot and feelings (46 kudos)

4. What fandoms do you write for?

Dragon Age, started with Inquisition 2015-2016, only a few nibs into DA2 and DAO 2018 I had a severe crush on British Actor Richard Armitage and wrote A LOT about many of the characters he portrayed. That makes it so difficult to tag all that, because I literally wrote more than a dozen characters back then who only had in common, that RA had portrayed them. For example: Thorin Oakenshield (The Hobbit Trilogy), The Sheriff of Locksley (BBC Robin Hood), Francis Dollarhyde (Hannibal), Raymond de Merville (Pilgrimage), John Thornton (North and South), John Proctor (The Crucible), John Standring (Sparkhouse) and many more 2024 until now - back full force with the release of Veilguard. At the moment I'm writing my Rook's origin's story, starting at age 15, hoping, to at least finishing that pre game arc and then maybe reworking the events in game and post game (a girl can dream, right?) Also, many know the letters I offer to write under the Antivan Postal Service umbrella, here on tumblr. I really REALLY love writing those letters from or for the Antivan Crows and it gives me the chance to get to know a lot of cool Rooks.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I so rarely get any response to my writing (kudos and comments) that when I get lucky and someone leaves only just one kind word for me, I will get so giddy and comment full of thank you's and love for that kind soul.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I think most of my endings bring a little spark of hope rather than ending in angst. I usually try to solve the angst during the writing to not leave the reader destroyed. So my angst is often part of the story and not in the ending. Many of the later chapters of "Chronicles of a dead man" (My Blackwall Redemption story) are stuffed with a lot of dark shit but I need to ease the tension for myself, too, thats why I probably don't leave a reader hanging in angst.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Do I do real happy endings? I am not entirely sure. I think, probably, You are who you choose to follow, can count as having a light, maybe even happy ending (but a very dark start, I guess). One of my Blackwall x Arya Trevelyan fics,

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not hate, but my decision back in the day, starting Arya's story off with a love triangle between her, Blackwall and Cullen (and Cullen being dumped halfway) - was not super popular. Other than that, I don't think I reach enough people to eventually meet a hater on A03

9. Do you write smut?

I have written a lot for Inquisition and a few for certain RA-characters. I was more of a smut with feelings and plot (queen of fluffy smut, as someone has put it once) writer, though. As of now, I don't feel comfortable writing explicit sexual stuff, so I don't do it anymore.

10. Do you write crossovers?

I have done a few little excursions in the past. And it was nothing to post, more of a private little brain yoga, which I practiced together with a friend and we had a blast with it.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so. Since barely anybody reads them, I don't think they are original enough to steal them anyway.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

nope. I tried to translate some of my very early writings from the Star Trek and Lord of The Rings fandoms from German to English, but it was not very successful - that's why I started to write in English right from the start.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

yep a lot, but those were more of a private project, only for the persons involved to enjoy.

15. What is the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Santa Claus is coming - a real fun modern AU Blackwall x Arya Christmas fic that was so much fun to write until the mojo left and even if I would want to start again, I have totally forgotten, how I had intended to write myself out of that plot-tangle which I had totally written myself into earlier. But yeah, it's REALLY fun to read and at least I managed to write a smut chapter, before I died there :D

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'd like to say characterization and catching a character's voice. Which for me is THE thing for writing fanfic. I want to hear that character talk in my head when I write/read something. I will only reluctantly write characters that I can't fully grasp, or I feel my English is not sufficient to grasp their dialect or manner of speech well enough (That's why I shy away from writing Emmrich and had a real hard time, writing Sera the few times I needed her as a part of the plot. I also think, that for someone who's first language isn't English I don't do so bad with descriptions and emotions.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Redundancies, sometimes finding an end (yes I'm a yapper), I am also a vivid purple prose abuser. But that's me. It's basically how I talk and so it's how I write.

18. Your thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

I like to sprinkle in some words in dialect or another language, when the character does it, too. "Mierda!"

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

I have quite a few that I really like (and still after all that time), beside those I already linked on here, I think I want to mention a few that I love. We all owe death a life - Blackwall x Arya h&c Trapped in oh so many ways - my first rookanis, and also h&c Aftermath - The Blackwall Redemption story for my 2nd Inquisitor Nininaelle Lavellan Skirmishes - Dorian starts a fight with Blackwall, because the bastard has hurt his friend Nininaelle I'll leave the Richard Armitage stuff out of here, but if for the unlikely case that anyone should be interested in anything of that kind, just hit me up.

This is pure fluff and that’s something rare on this blog since I usually write smutt. But since I love this man sm he gets special treatment.

⚠️Warnings- fluff, healthy relationships, mentions marriage and starting a family. And etc.⚠️

— Likes to keep a picture of you in his wallet. He would give it a quick glance before heading into a case. Your picture is his little good luck charm.

— He wouldn't keep you a secret, but isn't open about it. For example he wouldn't talk about you for hours to someone (only with his dogs he does.) but if someone asked if he had a s/o he would tell them about you straight up.

— He still is very shy about asking you out on dates even though you two have been dating for a while.

— Mandatory fishing trips together.

— He most def wouldn't tell Hannibal about you. He wants you to stay the hell away from him.

— Probably tells you about the cases hes working on. Even if he isn't supposed to tell someone he'll tell you without hesitation if you asked.

— You being there when he's sleepwalking every step of the way. Even having to wake him up a few times.

— You and him sleeping together makes him fall asleep faster. To the point he can't sleep without you.

— He would like to vent to you if you let him. He'll just vent to you while cuddling with one of the dogs while you sit next to him and listen. After he's done and realizes what he'd done he'll feel embarrassed, but he trusts you even more.

— Jack coming to Will's house unexpectedly and opening the door and walks inside. "Will! I got-" Jack trails off looking down at you two play wrestler with the dogs. "Never mind." Jack says before leaving the house going back to his car.

— Likes to call you something traditional or something sweet. Like hun/honey, love,sugar, idiot or sometimes even bug. He didn't know where bug came from one day he called you it and never let it go. He means the pretty bugs y'know.

— He prefers holding hands rather than anything sexual.

— Walks around his property with the dogs.

— Late night conversations.

— Begins to tell you more about Hannibal as the days go by. Like what him and Hannibal were talking about and etc.

— Long warm hugs after he comes back home from work. Just standing in the middle of the doorway hugging each other in loving silence. Just silently reassuring each other.

— Him letting you play and style his hair. It helps him relax when you do it, so he asks you to do it more often.

— Constantly reassuring him that you love him because he's an insecure mess and overthinks a lot. Like you don't love him or you're just using him.

— Him smiling to himself just at the thought of you or the mention of your name.

— Drinking coffee together at the front porch in early in the morning just enjoying the others company.

— Him waking you up after he has a nightmare. He curls up in your chest holding onto your clothes tightly as you cradle him in your lap kissing the top of his head. "I'm here Will. Don't worry baby i'm right here."

— Him having nightmares about losing you to the point he tells Hannibal about you and his fear of losing you, because he couldn't keep it to himself anymore.

— Will refusing the offer to let you two meet over dinner. Like he shot down the proposal so fast.

— Ms Lounds trying to get you to speak about Will. Like trying to make you spill all the bad things you know about him. And you just give her the bird and walk away.

— You two probably getting married either in the forest or by a dock.

— I think he's fine with the dogs, but if he ever wants to start a real family he'll want like two daughters and one boy.

— He side eyes you whenever he thinks your being weird or something. And he’ll give you the silent treatment after a long argument.

list 3 positive things about your current fandom(s)

a) I love that the Daredevil fandom has been kept healthy with several events over the years: shout out to @daredevilexchange for all the work they've done! b) My mattfoggy buddies are all so sweet and supportive; I know I can always count on someone to leave a comment on my fics even if they're occasionally a bit niche! c) I'm currently loving the surge in podficcing! We've not only got longtime veterans doing podfics for other people's work, but several of us have dipped our toes into the waters and have begun to podfic our own work. Not only a neat part of fandom but a step toward some more enjoyable reading for our friends who primarily use screen readers.

2. a headcanon you weren't sure about at first but have come to like!

I think at first I wasn't super big on the whole "Mike is in love with Foggy and obnoxious about it" thing, but as anyone familiar with my fics knows I've since come to embrace it.

8. you hope more people will come to appreciate ___ (a ship, a trope, an episode, etc)

Honestly I'd just like people to write more fics and draw more art directly inspired by comics storylines, especially some of the older stuff! That's what I'm hoping to get people to do with my upcoming DD comics bingo event. :D

11. if you're a writer or artist, what fic or piece of art are you proud of making?

At the moment I'm really proud of Hearsay, which is a comics volume 1 wip. I just think it's very tightly written.

12. compliment someone else in your fandom

@mutuallyprime is as lovely and supportive as it gets! You can count on her to boost you up if you need it 🥺 and she's written some truly great fics! The DD 2003!Matt/Milla fic is never leaving my brain.

17. the thing in canon that everyone loves and that you also love

Already answered this one with Matt and Foggy's friendship, but I suppose I also love their frequent divorces. 😌 Great source of drama, I think we can all agree about that.

23. the fandom you're curious about because of a mutual

lol sorry this is a boring answer but at the moment... none! I have in the past however been influenced to watch things, including Hannibal (loved it), Interview with the Vampire (loved it), and BBC Merlin (hated it lmao).

24. how has fandom positively impacted your life?

I've made so many friends!! It's lovely to wake up in the morning and be able to go and say hi and chat about this thing we're all obsessed with. Far less lonely. :D

25. a piece of advice for taking care of yourself in fandom spaces

literally don't listen to anybody telling you you're doing fandom wrong because you do/don't do x, y, or z. it's your life and anybody espousing these opinions has a very narrow and limited view of other people's interiority. get the hell out of there if you see a post like this. you deserve better.

Hiya! I'm new here so I thought I should present myself.

My name is Onyx, I'm trans masc and go by He/They and I am a flip (which means that I'm both a caregiver and a regressor).

I'm autistic and have ADHD and anxiety (as well as a terrible mental health all together) and I also suffer from PoTS (which causes me to have chronic fatigue) and chronic pain (in my joints).
