which of the clones would we soften up to first? because it's gonna happen eventually, right? I imagine it's Urogi > Karaku > Aizetsu > Sekido

Aizetsu then Karaku, i think.... Urogi and Sekido are spot on yeah!

Who you choose to pursue first is up to you. This is who gets all mushy for you in what order. once you have Urogi pining, youre hard locked into their route, sorries.

Urogi, he's just a needy guy who gets pretty hungry.. It's easy to set him off at first because while he's reckless, he's not about to trust a stranger! His problem is when optimism and overconfidence accidentally mix making him receptive to you. You can't do anything to him, he's upper four! but once he's in the palm of your hand, he'll refuse to leave. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and any kindness and tending make him really happy. Being with you brings a different kind of joy he never expected. It's warmer, kind of nerve wracking but exciting at the same time. Like he found his place with you. His heart flutters in a way that gets him so giddy, he can't help but want to reach out to you forever! The addictive tightness in his chest pushes him to crave you, since you're the only one who makes him feel this way!

Urogi softens up to you first because you're not a real threat to them. You're just a squishy weakling! A cute one! A reaaaally really cute one, like very cute.. too cute to eat...... DEFINITELY too cute to let anyone else eat!

The rest have their guard up to some degree and won't just throw their heart around at anybody. The world is against them after all!

Aizetsu is a tough nut because of his demotivation and overall apathetic sorrow. He makes no moves to progress or distance himself in the beginning, you're just someone, and he's stagnant. he's quicker to warm up to you than Karaku if you pamper and spoil him a little. like cleaning his spear, providing a place for him to rest, to wash up, or rescuing him from the others into a quieter room. Hell, if you get him food somehow, he stares at you with wide eyes and accepts the gift. It's not difficult to notice how Aizetsu melted after a while when he quietly follows you around like an cat that's constantly seeking affection. What shocks his clone counter parts is how he willingly volunteers to actually DO things for you. You make things so bright, he can't help that he's like a moth to a flame.

That's if you're doting to some degree, but Aizetsu comes around eventually either way, just because you provide shelter (that they technically forced their way into, but never mind that.) He does things with impressive efficiency the others were not expecting he was capable of. So what if he wants to show off a little..?

Karaku isn't easy because he really feels nothing for you aside for entertainment at first. the fact you're able to juggle all four of them amused him is all. He'd enjoy picking and teasing you, the others as well. Calling out when their faces would get red around you and cackling at them. It's difficult for him to tell the difference between pleasure and actual affection, but he never thinks on it too hard. Karaku probably even flirted with you or fought for your attention cause the others wanted it. When asked about you, like your name or interests, he deflected the question. What do you mean? how was he supposed to remember that?! He realized he fell when he's on his own and finds his mind wandering to you, thinking about the little things you do. How you eat, look when something mildly upsets you, when you're genuinely happy. then cusses under his breath cause now he fell for the same trick the others did. Oh, well, no use fighting off these feelings.

Karaku is like the play boy who falls for the first time, except he just needs time around you to actually fall. he accepts it cause this just makes things ten times more interesting. Now he's emotionally invested!! The others clown on him when he slips up and calls you by your name instead of a nickname.

Now for the toughest nut to crack since he's actively rejecting these feelings, Sekido! They rejected their humanity even as a human, why the hell is he going to allow himself to get attached to their food? Because he's as foolish as the idiots he's around, including you! He finds himself sputtering for words if you agree with him after venting, actively listening to him and trying to make his life easier. he's so... conflicted. Similar to the others, he doesn't deny his feelings once they've taken root. he might as well fight air if he were to try. And it's internally comforting to have someone capable of rangling his clones to some extent..

You'd need to have the favor of the others before Sekido fully allows himself to warm up to you. Like the ultra secret tough route of a dating sim..... but its so worth it when you get to see how he sends everyone away except for you so he can "think" on his own and insists that your presence is absolutely necessary.

there is no place whatsoever for generative ai in fandom spaces when fandom spaces are inherently about human creativity. whether you're using it to "fix" your writing, or break writers block or give you a prompt.

the cool thing about fandom is that ANYONE can do it !! anyone !! even if you're a new writer or a new artist or if you don't have many ideas or you're new to online spaces etc etc - the whole point is anyone can do it and even if your creation is (in your mind) "bad" quality, at least you created !!! you did that! you made that and isn't that just so fucking cool? that's so cool.

pls don't let these lil robots convince you that need artificial help to enjoy creating, they aren't even creating from their own mind. they don't have one.

go create even if you think it sucks !!! go create even if you're the only one who reads it !!! go and look at face proportions for the first time ever and take up pages and pages of a journal you haven't touched in years as you learn !!! have a little record of just how much you've learnt from enjoying what you're doing !!! made the edit even if it's choppy because you had that idea and you just needed to see it play out !!! post that tiktok even if you get 100 views because the point is you shared your love for something !!! post a snippet on tumblr to three notes because that's three more people than you would've interacted with if you were sharing it with a bot instead !!!

summary: enzo wants to show you his new tricks; slightly alluding to poly!slytherin boys if you squint but i guess not totally

At first you just ignored it, Enzo coming in and out of the room. But after about the fifth time, you got a little curious. You lowered your book slightly, just enough to peer over the pages but not enough to make Enzo think you were actually giving him attention. Clearly he was searching for it. 

He pretended like he wasn’t waiting for you to pay him mind, but each time he set an item on the ground you saw him peer at you through his peripheral. It was an odd collection of things; a small decorative pillow, a dog toy, a broomstick, one of Theo’s loafers and…

“Is that Matty’s toothbrush?” you lean forward on the couch, book now discarded beside you. 

Enzo is beaming, “Don’t tell him..want him to walk in and see it, see how pissed he gets.” He then walks away and into the kitchen. You watch curiously as he pulls out the box of dog treats and walks back over to where you were sitting in the living room, setting the box of treats down by your feet. 

He walks to the other side of the room before facing you again. Your head tilts curiously, silently asking Enzo what the hell he was up to. Then he raised his fist to his mouth and cleared his throat. 

“I now present…a show,” he bows, extending his arm out over his display of items on the floor. In a blink of an eye he’s transformed into an Australian shepherd puppy. You watch as his tail begins to wag, his front paws beginning to tap almost like he’s revving up. His little puppy behind raises in the air and then…he zooms off. 

“What the…” you mumbled under your breath, a half smile creeping it’s way on to your features. Enzo runs towards the broomstick, tongue hanging out of his mouth as he pushes off the ground and jumps over the thin piece of wood. As he lands on the other side he turns to you, tail wagging wildly. 

You give him a golf clap, but Enzo shakes his head, ears flopping back and forth. He makes his way over to you, nudging the box of treats with his snout before looking back up at you. 

“Oh you’ve gotta be kidding,” you lean forward, elbows on your knees. Enzo only whines, nudging the box again. “Fucking hell, okay, okay,” you dig in the box and fish out a treat, handing it over to Enzo he takes it happily. 

Still munching, he trots back over to the other side of the room before pushing off again, this time jumping over the dog toy before running a bit more and jumping over Theo’s loafer as well. Enzo turns to you, smiling and panting slightly. 

“Two jumps? Very impressive, Enzie. Another reward I’m assuming?” You dig out another treat from the box at your feet, Enzo quickly making his way over to you and accepting his earnings. “You know, I bet you can’t do all the jumps at once,” you’re goading him slightly, but you swear you see his eyebrows turn down in determination. 

He makes his way over to his starting spot. You scoot to the edge of the couch, prepared to have to pick him up and soothe him in case he trips over something in his intent to be impressive. You watch as he seems to ready himself, doing a few small bounces on his front paws as if practicing the motion and oomph he’d need to make all of his jumps. 

He pushed off, zipping over the broomstick with ease. He went for Mattheo’s toothbrush next, which honestly was the smarter decision as it was the smallest thing on the floor. He, of course, cleared it with no problem. He had to turn slightly before going for the dog toy, your hand coming up to cover your mouth as you watched in anticipation. 

Pushing off the floor he was able to make it over the dog toy and rushed toward his next target. You saw his head lower, eyes fixed on Theo’s loafer. He jumped higher than he probably needed to, but it seemed like he was proud of himself for making it over. 

He’s gained more momentum, his nails making noise against the hardwood as he circles around and heads for his final hurdle: the decorative pillow. Both hands are now covering your face, eyes peeking through your fingers as Enzo nears the object. 

Making his jump, his front paws make it over the pillow. You can see a hint of a smile, his tongue hanging out as he’s midway over. His back paws, however, come down a little too quickly, clipping the pillow and making Enzo tumble over himself. He rolls twice on the ground before scurrying up and starting to whine. 

“Oh, Enzie..oh baby did you hurt yourself?” you rush over to him, scooping him up and holding him close to your chest and you feel each of his little legs and paws. His snout nuzzles into your chest as you pet down his back and scratch between his ears. “Awh, darling..are you embarrassed?” 

He whines, nodding against you and you can’t help but squeeze him a little tighter. Amidst your comfort cuddles, Mattheo’s voice calls from down the hall, “Has anyone seen my toothbrush?” 

As if miraculously recovered, Enzo jumps from your lap and runs over to where he earlier placed Matty’s toothbrush on the ground. He picks it up with his mouth, making his way down the hall where a moment later you hear him getting praised all over again.

GUYS. I went to bed last night and dreamt up the craziest scenario for the final section of brothership, specifically the fake Mushroom Kingdom part. I HAD TO EXPAND ON IT.

So this part right?

Every time you say no, Peach gets a little more frustrated, but she's smiling through it. And what throws the bros off is that she initiates a battle with them because of this. She's in no fighting position, just beaming at them with her hands folded. Her level is ????? and named Peach?

When it's Mario or Luigi's turn to fight... the thing is that they don't; they don't want to fight Peach. I was thinking:

the Bros. attacks, Jump, and Hammer boxes are grayed out, or

You CAN choose Jump or Hammer, but the bros take one look at Peach, stop themselves and go back to their original positions, letting the player choose their action again.

So you would only be able to use your items if you needed to or rearrange your plugs, which would be Brothership's version of "sparing" Peach. Even if she's fake, if she's someone she's not, they couldn't bring themselves to fight their princess!

When the bros' turns are up, Peach says some more optimistic dialogue while she performs attacks on them with her umbrella. They're not too strong because it's Peach, who isn't renowned for damage dealing, but more of giving paralyzing or dizzying attacks. Though it is IMPOSSIBLE to dodge this Peach's attacks, so either bro will always take the same amount of damage whether they emergency guard or not.

But THEN once Peach is tired of going back and forth with the bros (say after five turns), her facade breaks immediately and she becomes Glohm Peach (but make her more edgy-looking, kinda like Shadow Queen Peach). She readies a deadly beam from the tip of her umbrella that would kill either bro instantly... internally. Externally, I think it would make them either super weak-minded or wipe their memory clean, for good. But we don't want that, right? (...right?)

Who the beam goes to is random, and if it does hit either of them, then it would show a Game Over screen with the conscious bro hovering over the unconscious bro with their hands out to hold him. But if they hit the beam with their hammer on time, it ricochets off it and goes back to Peach, making her take a LOT of damage and sending her toppling over (no xp is earned because it's all in the mind).

We cut back to the castle and now we see an effed up version of Peach, merging her and Reclusa's appearance together (Peaclusa? Reclusa Peach?). Her voice sounds very distorted, a hint of Reclusa's voice slipping every now and then. Reclusa delivers a few more chilling lines before collapsing, as he's too weak to deal with the bros at the moment, but recovers quickly by the time they meet him in the real world. But for now, Mario and Luigi run past the fake Peach to get their heads out of those flowers.
