The Silent Guardian - A Bat man story

With her support, Batman overcame the toxin's effects and together, they apprehended the Scarecrow, dismantling his operation and saving countless lives. As they stood victorious, a mutual respect and trust had formed between them.

"The Whisperer," Batman said, "Gotham needs you. We need you."

She nodded, her eyes reflecting the determination they both shared. "I'll be there, in the shadows, watching over Gotham."

As dawn broke over the city, Batman knew he had found not just an ally but a kindred spirit. Together, they would continue to protect Gotham from the darkness that lurked in its streets, their partnership a testament to the silent guardians who watch over the city.

How My Gilda Differs. (RP)

I was talking to a new friend and we agree that it's really difficult for people to understand who Gilda is as The Long Halloween is who most people base Gilda off of. However, Gilda is far more complex. I don't hate the Long Halloween. I love it, but I don't see what Harvey would see in that version of Gilda. Every other version of Gilda around that time (And later B:TAS) write her as far more dynamic. She has likes and dislikes, she has accomplishments, more complex motives, hobbies, a strong sense of morality and an ability to call out bullshit. That's what I'm basing my Gilda off of. Someone who's passionate about philanthropy. Someone who is able to see the hypocrisies of Gotham while supporting Harvey's dream with her intelligence and guidance. She obviously loves art, but she studies history, mythology, botany, anatomy, philosophy and anthropology. This Gilda is someone who is witty and able to debate Harvey on various topics while having a lot of fun. She's someone who is not afraid to tell Harvey no or set up boundaries. (I think this is seriously important, especially when Two Face is involved. Gilda /Grace in most early media is able to handle that well and still have Two Face's respect. She's soft in that she wants to have a family and a peaceful domestic life. She wants that in part because she knows that Harvey didn't have that life growing up. She is someone who is not afraid to defend Harvey to Batman, but also not afraid to tell Harvey that she thinks it's best if he gives himself up. And you can bet this Gilda visits Harvey in Arkham. As for Holiday, I base that off of what my rp partner and I base our RP off of. I'm not the greatest fan of the twist, but I do think I am able to write it in a way that feels more natural.
