Jerry West was a Hall of Fame NBA player and executive. He won eight NBA titles as a member of the front office for the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors. West was known as “The Logo” due to his silhouette being used as the NBA logo.

Born Jerome Alan West on May 28, 1938 in Chelyan, West Virginia and died June 12, 2024 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 86.
