RECREYO - CHAN: THEORIES / THOUGHTS

As of right now, "Recreyo Chan" has had three official appearances in videos, one possible season 2 design sketch, and two off-hand references.

Aaand, with promises from Curt that the SCP arc will have actual lore, and a VC that signified that Recreyo definitely knew about the fandom's thirst for lore... I think it's safe to say that RC may have more to do with it than what was initially planned from when she was first created. Especially when her recent appearances have been.. odd, and a specific event in the official Recreyo Discord had thrown us all for a loop.

This post is to showcase my thoughts and hopefully provide some clarity on who she actually is. (And if I'm sensible, then what she also could be.)

RC's debut was on Nov 16, 2021 for an Anime NYC announcement. You can find the video here.

From this video alone, RC definitely appears more like a mascot than anything- a one-off character who would only be mentioned for two visual gags from then on, plus a drawing that Ivan did shortly after the second video.

It's important to note that one of these references were definitely coincidental, and I don't want that to be forgotten. However, I wanted to address it just in case. After all, an accidental reference could very well be spun into a lore tidbit.

The video that that frame is from is old, that much I know. But recently, definitely after that video was up for months, Ivan dropped a possible season 2 design for RC. (3/23/23)

And what do you know, on the 17th, only 6 days before that drawing was sent in the Discord, we saw RC again. Albiet, it was just by name, so we don't know if it was just another gag. It likely is, since the animator could've drawn it ages before we saw it uploaded, but...

Let's just keep it in mind.

After these small bits, though, we got two actual appearances from RC. Ones that actually kept her design and so we know for a fact that they are the same character. INTENTIONALLY this time, I should add.

At 9:31, Curt says "Nah, I gotta progress the plot." and we see the screen glitch with this frame showing up. This is, without a doubt, RC. From the blue hair, the red tie, and even the spiral cheeks- this is the mark that she was becoming something more.

(Plot-relevant, if you will.)

Being deliberately consistent now, we can take this a little more seriously.

I wanna say that although I don't know the specific time, the video was uploaded at the latest: 2:48 PM. I know this since that was time of the earliest message about the video in the Discord.

You might think it's redundant, but I bring the time up because everyone who was in the Discord would know that something else had happened that day, and it's incredibly important that we're all aware of it.

This person, who I'll call CA, had joined at 4:12. Two whole hours after the video was released, and so a lot of people had already watched it by then and had theorized about RC's surprising return.

Everyone's lore theories were public. And although framed as a hacker, CA was all obviously a plot by Recreyo to get us riled up for the lore. We know this, since Curt himself had showed up in the general chat prior to "play dumb" about everyone's collective breakdown.

Anyway, to summarize what had happened after CA showed up:

Everyone was pinging them, flirting, etc. Basically trolling, but also publicly theorizing that they were RC's account. By the way, "c̶" also was in the video's description, almost matching CA's name.

CA had a role (shown above) that put them at the top of the member-list. They were also apparently unbannable according to the mods.

Curt got "hacked" and if memory serves right, his PFP changed to the glitching RC picture. He sent the message "c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛͛c̶̓̈a̶͛" into the announcements channel.

Den banned Curt after confirming that he was "hacked."

Curt rejoined and got his Recreyo role back. However... CA is still online as I type this.

Again, everything was obviously a stunt, and I don't need to argue about that. However, I want to take all of this seriously in the sense that it's lore-related, because if we keep on going "it's just a joke" then everything in Recreyo's lore wouldn't matter. So SHUT THE FUCK UP IF YOU'RE TYPING "IT WAS AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE" (BECAUSE IT WASN'T EVEN APRIL FOOL'S FOR THEM!!!!)

Anyhow, I think it's obvious that CA is connected to RC. Whether they're the same person or not, the glitch theme mixed with the hacker idea is way too similar. And if you're not convinced that it's even a motif, then let's go into today's upload.

..Yeah, so this is happening. This is real.

An interesting detail is that RC was originally Den before glitching onto the frame. And if you continued watching, you'd notice that the screen pans over and Den shows up on the other side of the picture.

So... this is where we end with our sudden appearances, and we actually begin diving into what RC could be doing here, and what her place in the lore will be.

Let's run down the thoughts that I have:

A popular idea right now is that RC is an AI gone rogue. With the theme of glitching, it definitely fits.

As an explanation for her appearances, we can also assume that she hacks into the videos itself, and what we see on screen wasn't actually what was happening. So instead of her just appearing next to Christian like when they were recording, she instead corrupts the video as it "uploads." This is my current idea, since when questioned about the Dr. Stone video, Curt said:

As for her place into the story, there's a few possible ways for her to be integrated with the current SCP arc. Maybe she's an SCP herself, maybe she's the mystery guide...

I personally believe that she's the one who caused the blackout in the sculpture scenario. In my own headcanon, I had stated that RC worked with the SCP foundation and was integrated with all of the technology. I might not fully believe that now, but I still agree with the latter half.

If she's a professional hacker due to her AI abilities, I don't think it's farfetched she'd be messing up the SCP foundation and trying to get Recreyo killed...

But why? What incentive would she have?

...Well, I've had an idea for a while. I've had RC in my own headcanon lore of Recreyo for quite a bit, and I even called the possibility of her being an AI. The malice I believe that she'd hold towards her creators involves the theme of freedom. Being a real person rather than a character. Vengeance.

I definitely doubt that The Bunker Trio would be brought back (as much as it pains me to say) but something I associate a lot with them is how much tragedy they went through.. solely because of Recreyo. Being original characters, all of their pain was directed by Curt and exploited for content, IN-UNIVERSE.

These themes I have with them are something that extends to RC. I believe that RC is intending to take over the Recreyo channel as payback for bringing her into a world just as a mascot. If she was given the blessing of intelligence, then why the hell was she only used as a mascot?

This is getting a little meta, but I want to emphasize how she was only a lifeless one-off character. I honestly believe she only has lore now because Recreyo realized how obsessed with it we are. So they dig up an old character who hasn't been touched in two years, and suddenly she's the star of the show?

RC is sick of being used as an "idol." She'll let her face haunt the videos for now, but she's going to take over one way or another.

....Or something like that. I can't tell if this even makes sense, but that's basically what I think about RC. I have other headcanons, like how I think she and Roberto work together as a duo, but those are far from what's actually happening.

But then again, I only have these stupid headcanons because I hadn't counted on her becoming a character again. I thought that she was honestly retired.

I might've originally dug a path far from the road of canon, but if it means Recreyo is finally exploring their potential of storytelling, then hell- you already know that I'll be running back.

(Also while I was typing this, CA changed their name to CAN. So.. yeah.)

Autumn anime 2023 is so STACKED, it's illigal!

Aside from the obviously amazing continuing shows, there's TOO MANY great new ones.

Based on first episodes, here's my top ranking (may be subject to change cuz Apothecary Diaries isn't out yet. And excluding SpyxFamily, dr. Stone and Tokyo Revengers which are all *chef's kiss*)

1. Kamonohashi Ron: Deranged Detective

you had me at Detective. and then you had me at Deranged. Also, I'm a big fan of Amano Akira's other works, Reborn and eldLIVE (Psycho-Pass not so much, but she only did the character art) Depressed adult who is too curious for his own good, what's not to love?

2. Undead Unluck

I saw the manga before and had been really anticipating the anime. They're such a fun duo and their personalities and abilities compliment one another really well. looks like there'll be a lot of cool unusual superpowers. Reminds me a lot of Blood Lad, just hoping this anime won't end with virtually nothing solved T~T;

3. Kingdom of Ruin

Bit on the over the top side with the amount of tragedy, but the worldbuilding seems very interesting. I'm a slut for witch hunting too. May end up severely traumatized if I continue, but we'll see how it goes.

4. My New Boss Is Goofy

My soul is healed, my crops are growing. Grown men doing stilly stuff is comfort food for the eyes. Looks a bit yaoi baiting, but can't complain if it's cute. Reminds me of Cool Douji Danshi.

5. Migi & Dali

I don't even know what's going on at this point, it's so surreal. Elder couple wants to adopt one child and genius twins thought 'we can work with that'. The silly love children of Johan Liebert and Sakamoto desu ga. (same author as Sakamoto too. it sure shows.)

6. Crash course on Naughtiness

Last season, I was confronted with the pet-peeve of feeble waifu syndrome (I finished My Happy Marriage, but I'm sorry, I could not stand that girl...) And this season around, I realized the formula that breaks the curse of feeble waifus: a batshit crazy counterpart. This man is just bullying her with kindness. plus points for another excelent job done by Sugita Tomokazu.

7. Frieren

As a big fan of DnD, I can't say no to such a DnD-based series. Plus the pressure of having to live such a long live as elves do is very interesting. It's a bit slow to my liking, but the characters are amusing and layered.

8. Yuzuki family's 4 sons

a young man who has to take care of his 3 little brothers after his parents died, give me some napkins Q-Q not a single person looks or acts their age (the youngest has better vocabulary than I do;;) but it's all fun and sweet and trying to find your way in an unusual family-hirarchy

9. I'm in love with the villainess

My eyes hurt from looking at this. But the over the top artstyle works quite well with how silly the story is. I too would like to say 'step on me, mommy' to my favorite villain. Just hope it won't become repetitive in its jokes.

10. Tearmoon Empire

Wow, will you look at that. Another reincarnated villainess. Luckily, this one has no memories of living in a different world or something. Just her future self's diary. Enjoying the concept where she's not suddenly a saintly good girl for a change.

11. Oujo to Banken

This dude is on THIN fucking ice. I commonly enjoy age gaps very much. but in no way what so ever, would I support a relationship between a teenager and the 10 year older guy who basically raised her. Him being her parent figure is where I draw the line. That said, I'm eating up the amount of over-protectiveness and yakuza-logics. It has the amount of spice I had hoped to find in Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting that wasn't there.

12. Ragna Crimson

I'm sorry. just...... you can't make me believe that the ditsy loli-girl is the best dragon killer in the world. stop. The maincharacter is quite interesting, though. I like how it's like... his actual own power that he has for his OP special snowflake thing. Borrowing tomorrow's energy for today.....that's the description of a burn out I read the other day;;; But you do you, boy. good luck dying very early in life.

Fanfic Progress Update 160

Hello, I'm Tired, how are you? I hate January and February, the give me bouts of seasonal depression and that ruins my groove. I'll manage tho. Stay tuned for a sneak-peek for A Sign that you're important at the bottom of this post!

A Sign that you're important

Fandom: Sonic the Hedgehog, movieverse

Summary: One month upon his assigment as Doctor Robotnik's assitant, Agent Stone is told to learn sign language. He doesn't know why, and isn't suicidal enough to ask, so he simply rolls with it. Turns out, it's not just a whimsy of the eccentric doctor, even though that doesn't stop the doctor from utilizing it like one.

Progress: Chapter 4 was posted on 11th of January. The fifth chapter will be posted on 18th of January aka the next Thursday. Chapter 5 is finished and ready to be posted. I'll need to do a chapter 6, cause Robotnik really, really wanted to wallow and be gay for Stone for a full chapter, mostly at the same time too. Unsure if chapter 6 will be full length or basically a half-length epilogue, we'll see.

Maybe it said something about Agent Stone - and probably not good things - that the poster in the cafeteria's pin board piqued his interest more than any of his official assignments had for a good long while.

Progress: This one will be part one of a two-parter longfic, the first part probably... 10-ish chapters? It's a bit hard to estimate at this point, so the number is subject to change - will probably end up being increased tbh. My weekly writing hour (as in, a specific hour when I sit down and write, no excuses [other than not being home]) is devoted to this fic.

I have the first five chapters completely written. Chapter 6 has been started.

I also have two halfway written chapters that don't yet know their exact placement within the fic (they're scenes that will be slotted in to wherever they feel natural, once we get Stone settled in.)

Turned out, even super advanced hearing aids didn’t take well to getting jostled around like maracas at the speed of sound by a hedgehog, getting blasted through an interdimensional portal they hadn’t been tested for, and crashing loudly and violently into Toadstool Tartarus. In fact, the left one went into tinnitus mode and the right one simply shut down completely. It made crawling out of a crashed aircraft much worse than it already would have been by default.

Once he was out and had enough distance to not get blown to smithereens or showered with shrapnel should his aircraft decide to explode, both hearing aids were promptly removed from his sore ears.

“This will put a damper on whatever plan I will begin hatching as soon as I get my bearings”, Doctor Robotnik said to himself, already hating the likely long lasting silence, especially when that included his own voice.

Omg oks so I have a very shitty taste in anime so this will be a very disappointing list but the ones I mostly recommend are:

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun: literally every scene is funny and iconic, it also invented m/f yaoi don’t ask it makes sense

Owari no Seraph: I mean this very unironically this anime fucking sucks but in a good way like nothing is ever explained, nothing makes sense and they gaslight you into believing the main boys are gonna be endgame by showing you a homoerotic scene of blood drinking. Just roll with it and don’t ask questions it’s better that way

The Persona 3 movies and the Persona 4/5 anime: the movies are really good they did a good job condensing +80 hours of gameplay in 4 movies (except the third movie but we don’t talk about that). Now when it comes to the persona 4 anime you can tell they didn’t give a shit that thing is just 24 episodes full of jokes and comedy the game wishes it had holy shit it’s really funny for no reason. The persona 5 anime is more complex in the sense that it’s very unwatchable if you go to it expecting something good. It’s bad it’s very bad it’s poorly animated and rushed and it’s just borderline unwatchable but it is really funny if you wanna have a good laugh about how bad something is I recommend it

Osomatsu-san: the first episode of the first season being yeeted into oblivion bc it was very much illegal to show all of it makes it worth it. Keep in mind this is an adult show (even if it doesn’t look like it) so there’s a lot of crude humor and sex jokes but all the characters are such trashy people I like to see them suffer 

Kiss him not me: if you are a shipper this one is for you. Basically the MC is a yaoi obsessed fan girl who wants to see her classmates date each other yaoinly but they want to date her instead 

ID Invaded: really good anime with a really good mystery and plot! Main character did everything wrong but I still love him also Sou did the opening for it 

Happy sugar life: very fucked up horror about a high schooler in love with a literal child but it doesn’t go like you think it goes, they don’t portray it as romantic or cute they very much portray it as the fucked up thing it is and how wrong it is. It’s good if you like feeling unsettled and like to watch things go from 0 to 100 real fast

The promised neverland: amazing series with an amazing mystery and atmosphere! It’s a shame it only has one season tho I hope they make a second season of it in the future but it’s a shame it only has one

Dr stone: it has science, it’s horny, you have over the top characters, what more do you want

Natsume book of friends: you love to cry? You wanna cry after watching every single episode? Ofc you do! This shit will hit you in the gut so hard you will never recover. A beautiful story about acceptance, platonic love, found family and yokai with the best and most realistic character development I’ve ever seen 

Gegege no Kitaro: this one is very broad bc no kidding this anime gets a new adaptation every decade. There’s a 60s version, a 70s version, an 80s version, a 90s version, a 2007 version, a 2008 version that is more adult and follows the manga and a 2018 version too if you like recent stuff more. Most of these are lost media tho good luck trying to find any version that is not the 2018 one. I forgot about the plot of it yeh uhhh basically a kid ghost is a medium between humans and yokai but he mostly play favorites with the yokai and sometimes fucks the humans over so idk if he’s really a medium, he’s very biased about it

The dangers in my heart: I talked about this one before but I’m talking about it again idc. Really cute and wholesome the MC is kinda horny but he’s like 14 boys at that age are pretty horny we have to stop pretending they aren’t. The first 3 episodes are so cringe they are very painful to watch but if you can go through them you will witness what I think it’s the cutest romance after horimiya. I don’t usually read manga bc I have the attention span of a rock but even I did a binge read of it bc it was just so good

King’s game: edgier than shadow the hedgehog 2006, it’s painfully bad like I can’t even begin to explain how horrible this anime is but good lord it made me laugh all the way through 

Chuubyo gekihatsu boy: one of the main characters is a catboy called Rei Tsukumo and another character is a cringe Utaite what more can I say? It’s just dumb cringe kids being dumb as fuck for 12 episodes and you know what? It’s very good at it

Horimiya: just watch it for the love of god just watch it

Sasaki to Miyano: you have miyano who is like “I wonder if I’m gay??? I’m not sure???” While he reads gay manga and straight up imagines himself kissing his guy friend in the mouth like bestie COME ON

My main non-writing hobby is drawing! Have some examples below: (Of course, the two examples I have are spencer-centric because that feral gremlin lives in my head rent free, and it fits with this blog specifically! Also the heterochromia is NOT canon to Spencer anymore FYI)

I also like to play video/computer/mobile games! The main things I tend to play are T.he S.ims 4, M.ario K.art 8 D.eluxe, S.uper S.mash B.rothers U.ltimate, A.nimal C.rossing: N.ew H.orizons, and L.ove N.ikki: D.ress U.p Q.ueen.

I have quite a few actually! For TV shows, my main fave right now is the C.reepshow series on Shudder that came out in 2019! For my 23rd birthday, my mother got me the entire series on DVD (sans season 4 because that obviously hasn't come out yet/was just announced), so I didn't even need to subscribe to Shudder at all lmao. I only wanted to watch it for Major Ted Lockwood (the character my other rp blog @/goranginumber7 is based on) because he was played by B.reckin M.eyer and I just grew attached to him. Also @kurtzbergsiblings was telling me how mid the show was in her opinion, so I had to watch it for myself, and I actually really enjoyed it. I'm still technically not done season one, but my brain was on hyper-speed when I got season 2 in my grubby little hands because I could finally watch The Right Snuff legally, so I forgot to finish it 🫣. Another TV show I really got into after years of not watching it, well I guess it's more of a cartoon series than a tv show but whatever, is Robot Chicken. Now for movies, this answer is slightly harder for me. Mainly for the reason that I haven't been able to fully sit through a full-length movie since I was about 13, and I also just don't have the expendable resources like time, energy, and income to watch movies anymore. However, I do still have movies from back in my movie watching days that I hold near and dear to my heart, and I'll watch them any day of the week. DEAF = Carlos STONED = Spencer AND = Them both being portrayed on one blog (by yours truly!) For a more proper and in-depth explanation, because you wouldn't have asked the question if you didn't want that, is that I originally made this blog's URL deafandstoned because according to the fandom those were Carlos and Spencer's only "traits" as characters within F.reddy's D.ead. You know, because the movie was too busy with that nonsensical "is this random 18-year-old man the kid of THE F.reddy K.rueger, or is it the clearly older woman who is basically a reskinned Dr. S.imms from D.ream W.arriors but even worse." plotline to actually flesh anyone out beyond basic traits and identifiers. The funny thing is, Spencer is never shown to be a stoner until that scene in the van where he pulls the one joint out of his pocket and lights it up (one joint = stoner? 🤔). The only other reference to weed they use with him is the very beginning of his death sequence when he's smoking on the couch. Also, as I have learned from roleplaying a stoner on this blog, smoking weed would actually be an AMAZING Freddy suppressant, because it's been shown that weed actually SUPRESSES REM sleep. So, if anyone's death was easily preventable, it was Spencer's. Also, the only other "trait" that Carlos had going for him was that he was clearly not white (it's heavily implied that he is Hispanic through not only his name, but his mama having a heavy and vaguely Hispanic accent). Now, I personally don't like that "the deaf kid" is the only other "trait" that Carlos has besides his race, but that was the only one I had to truly work with in terms of coming up with names. Wait a minute...I just realized how FUCKED UP that is. The only thing Carlos is known, and was mercilessly tortured in a needlessly drawn-out death sequence, for is the permanent physical reminder of his abuse that he had NO CONTROL OVER. There was also a strange need to bring up the fact that Carlos was deaf a LOT in the film, and not just by Carlos himself, but with other characters doing it too. Sorry, none of this has anything to do with my blog URL, that's just my brain uselessly griping about this practically obscure "horror" movie from 1991 that I have a love/mildly annoyed with relationship with.

Winter 2021 Anime Worth Watching!

Since 2020 basically sacrificed itself to give us the most stacked anime season of all time, I’m currently buried under the weight of almost 20 shows airing per week. So for anyone who’s looking for some anime to watch this winter, here’s some first impressions! I’m speed running my list this time by only talking about the new shows...because otherwise this would be my great American novel. 

If anyone’s interested, I have master lists for both 2020 anime and 2019 anime, because there’s no shortage of fun things to find. 

New Shows!

And before anyone asks, So I’m A Spider, So What? isn’t on here, because CG spiders freak me out.

Cells At Work Code Black: This...less comedic spin off of Cells At Work (made by a different studio) takes the wholesome concept of Osmosis Jones meets cute anime girls and turns it on its head. In this much more depressing version, we follow a rookie red blood cell who works in the body of an overly stressed, alcoholic smoker who puts every strain on the body imaginable. I love Red Blood Cell AA2153 and his co-workers, but man am I glad we get the regular Cells At Work airing this season too, because I need something fun and uplifting after seeing my sweet son go through hell every episode. 

*Heaven’s Design Team: Have you ever wondered how God came up with some of the weird ass animals that live on this planet? Like, what’s the deal with giraffes? And why can’t we have dragons and flying horses? Well this is a comedy about the engineers and designers in heaven creating the new animals that are going to inhabit the Earth. That’s it, that’s the show. It’s kind of in the same vein as Cells At Work, having comedy blend with a surprising amount of educational information. If you want something light and funny, this is the show for you (though I don’t think it needs to have full length episodes). I’m just hoping there’s an episode about how the hell the platypus was created. Also it’s the only new one available on Crunchyroll.

Horimiya: A romantic comedy about a girl named Hori who fits the image of a perfect queen bee and a quiet bespectacled boy named Miyamura who never makes an impression at school. When the two meet by chance outside of the classroom, we see that Hori is practically raising a younger brother by herself, and Miyamura is actually a sweet guy who happens to be covered in tattoos and piercings. This show is an exercise in breaking down the images people have of others in their minds, and it’s a concept that really hits home in a fun and meaningful way. Honestly, this has become one of my immediate favorites. The characters have great chemistry, and I can’t wait to see more of them!

Monster Incidents (Kemono Jihen): When big shot Tokyo detective Inugami is called to a rural town to investigate a series of strange animal deaths, he finds a mysterious boy with the nickname Dorotabo who has been shunned by the other children in town. As the detective gets closer to Dorotabo, he discovers that there may be more...inhuman secrets to the boy than he realizes...and Dorotabo discovers that Inugami has some secrets of his own. This is a hard show to sell without spoiling the first episode, but it had twists and turns that kept me engaged from start to finish. I’m really interested to see where the plot goes, because I thought this was going to be something totally different just from the PV and series summary. If it plays its cards right, this could be a great paranormal detective show!

Wonder Egg Priority: A psychological drama about a girl named Ai who starts having dreams about a mysterious egg that promises to give her what she wants most in the world...a true friend. Before long, she begins to see how the dream world and reality are tied together, and trippy antics ensue. It’s hard to say more without spoiling anything, but I had to go back and add this one in because I made the mistake of thinking it was an OVA when it’s actually a full series. And what a series it’s starting out to be. This anime has all the psychological discomfort of a Satoshi Kon product with the beauty and style of something from Kyoani (even though it’s made by Clover Works). It’s really one of those anime you just have to see to understand.

Sk8-∞ (Skate the infinity): An original skateboarding anime from Bones, featuring a typical sports anime protagonist who takes a new transfer student who has never skateboarded in his life under his wing. Together they compete in dangerous races and take the skating community by storm. The character designs rival Appare Ranman’s in outlandish creativity, and I can smell the main characters’ ship dynamic a mile away (considering they’re exactly the same as the protagonists from Robihachi). If you’re looking for some wild and crazy fun with top notch skateboarding animation, don’t skip this!

2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu (Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Club): Yes, it’s another volleyball anime. And no, it’s not just a clone of Haikyu. This story follows Yuni Kuroba, a physically built but emotionally weak teenager who finds out his childhood friend Hajime is moving back to their hometown for high school. Yuni discovers Hajime has become an exceptional volleyball player and they join their school’s volleyball club hoping to turn the unknown team into a rising star. If anything, this anime is much more like Stars Align or Free, where the sport is a backdrop for letting the characters explore their personal problems. Or at least it seems that way after the first episode. I went into this show ready to throw it in the trash because how could anything compete against my beloved Haikyu, but I found myself really enjoying the dynamics of the main duo and I’m curious to see what the rest of the team is like.

And speaking of sports anime rip-offs…..I can’t believe I’m including this but…

Skate Leading Stars: The show where the animators clearly wanted to design another throw away idol anime but saw how popular Yuri On Ice was so they decided to make whatever the hell this show is instead. It revolves around a fictional team sport called skate leading, and we follow the world’s most insufferable main character, a former figure skater named Kensei who wants to return to the ice and join his school’s skate leading team after he finds out his childhood rival is going to compete in the sport. Look, this show is just trashy enough to get a certain type of audience hooked, and it mainly has to do with the best boy of the winter season, Hayato Sasugai, the aspiring team “coach” who pulled most of us into watching this show with his punk appearance, snide comments and smug personality. He’s basically the lovechild of Izaya Orihara and Shizuo Heiwajima in a high school sports anime setting. The show treats itself with the perfect amount of sincerity to get away with being absolutely ridiculous most of the time without making you feel like you’re watching it from a dumpster...like Try Knights. You will know after one episode whether this show is for you. All I can say is, Hayato is worth the watch, and I haven’t seen any 3D animation used for the skating scenes (yet) so that’s a win for me. 

Honorable mention:

Jobless Reincarnation ( Mushoku Tensei): Yet another isekai where the main character is hit by a car (big surprise) and gets reincarnated into a fantasy world...but he happens to remember his previous life and narrates himself growing up as a jaded adult. I’m only including this because it looked amazing animation wise, and I love the opening where getting hit by a car and dying is actually traumatic. And I love the protagonist’s parents (who are retired adventurers who just want to bang all the time). But honestly...the main character is the fucking worst, and I don’t know if I want to keep watching it because of how creepy and weird he is. Like...he’s the hit on your fantasy mom as a baby kind of creepy and weird. But for anyone who wants a cool looking isekai that had an amazing PV, it’s worth checking out.

Elumax will happen...

Elmax will happen. Lumax will happen. Elumax will happen... Just not the way most imagine or would like.

They showed us how it will be made reality or better where: ElMax will happen in the mind. Lumax in reality.

El fought the monsters in the mind and revived her - Lucas fought the monsters in reality and caught her.

Elmax isn't one sided nor fan fiction, it's real believed to be fan fiction... Korrasami was fan fiction made reality:

Korrasami... (Or better: Korraava?) - They flipped the concept and made it look like ElMax is just a fan fiction thing.

On her heart. That description alone is telling. El revived her and then sent her mind into another dimension over a rainbow bridge. The script does not leave much room for interpretation here. Body goes to body (the UD is technically one huge organism), mind goes to mind. So this is a dimension of mind, of dreams and thought - the antithesis to the UD.

This is where Max's consciousness is now and needs to be send back/replaced and a connection to a healthy mind guarantees that she can feel and see. (see also links at the end of this post)

El and Max are made as exact mirrors, connected through their accessories and hearts.

But they are never alone.

There's always space for a third person, the lover who isn't there.

"Without heart we'd all fall apart. Even El. Especially El."

Max is the heart. She is literally the answer to a neverending story. And the very life of Lucas. Both are focus points in Max's heart and she does love both of them.

There were love confessions in Season 4 without using "ILY" at all.

Elumax will happen. They even made a poem consistent of two separate ones for them:

It's not a matter of chances but of what's there in the show. It will be unusual, it will be heart wrenching and heartbreaking but it will happen. It will be "quite moving and beautiful." as David Harbor put it, who pieced together what's gonna happen because he knows his characters arc, having a theoretical idea about this. (He stated this in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel recently). And Hopper's story is about El. So, it's about Max too.

My advice is to forget thinking of Elumax as a "traditional" relationship even for a poly: it won't be.

If you would have asked me months ago, I wouldn't even have seen Elmax as a real thing, not to speak of Elumax. I wasn't even a hardcore fan of the show. Weeks and months of looking at the pure evidence itself, thinking about it, coming from the point of view of the general audience because that's what I was, just GA (important imo because you tend to look at things from a different perspective).

As someone who didn't ship them then, even when I found Elmax I rejected them because it was to painful as my findings how they would solve that coma problem hurt to much but then I can't denie them either because it would be a lie... for all those reasons I can tell you: Elmax will happen. Lumax will happen. Both are set in stone. It will hurt, it will make you cry but it will happen.

I started with a simple question: How they would solve the Max problem because that's what this is about. I basically solved this after a few days. Then I found Elmax as a romantic couple and the rest is history.

They intended this to be: they can make it happen. They will make it work. And it will blow your mind.

This is a Quirk list but everyone's favorite leek boy is definitely Quirkless

Got into the UA support course on recommendations from American idol Lillian Wienberg and part-time Hero Xeno Wingfield

It's likely only school staff are aware of his Quirkless-ness(?). Though some childhood friends probably know.

Thoroughly disappointed with the public's disinterest in space exploration, and still wants to be an astronaut someday.

Geeks out over the functionality of quirks, doesn't care how flashy a quirk is it just has to be functional

His quirk allows both his strength and stamina to increase when his heart rate is raised

Especially resistant to suprise attacks and deadly villains

In the hero course, wants to save everyone because his own parents died when he was young

She can revert any nonliving object to its original components or repair broken objects

He can lock onto any target within his line of sight and fire a guaranteed shot, at the cost of violent recoil

His Quirk is often a once per day thing as overuse harms his shoulder and accompanying tendons

Ok so remember when I made this post about Ray well I’m going to make (a shorter one bc I’m actually quite tired) about Nora. And mostly I’m just here to say that while in theory I LOVE that Ray and Nora got married, I think it was a BAD idea to do that so soon. Also going to try @puppetavasharpe‘s bold thing because that is a V good idea. 

It was established in S3 that Nora never really had a childhood because... you know... demon cult... and as an adult you mostly see her be bad UNTIL the fateful “torture isn’t the answer” scene in No Country For Old Dads. So then you know at the end of S3 Ray is like I believe in you bby here take this stone so you can break out lol. So anyway S4 is mostly about her redeeming herself and first of all I want to say that they did a GOOD job with this. Like wowie wow wow love it chef’s kiss etc... Now Nora (as a series regular at this point) is only in about half the episodes of S4, at the time this season aired, I actually didn’t mind it but then again I also thought that they would get more time in S5 (LOLOLOLOLOL) so it seemed fine to me. I also thought that since they did such a good job with Ray and Nora’s slowburn that that would... you know... continue? (again LOLOL) 

The tl;dr of that last paragraph is: a lot of good things happened in S4. Nora got redeemed. She joined book club and made FRIENDS!! She became a time bureau agent. She kissed Ray. 

But then she became a fairy godmother. And now I say again, at the time, it didn’t bother me because I thought it was just for the episode and I didn’t realize it would be a WHOLE THING. So then... season 5 happens. 

Nora (still as a series regular at this point) is in 3.5 episodes of season 5. No I am not counting Marie Antoinette because she isn’t Nora in that episode. The .5 actually comes from that one scene where she is only on video and they say they love each other. Although she also was on video for the Marie Antoinette so we can round it up to 4 episodes I GUESS. 

After her getting all of that development, making friends!! Book club!! They just sort of erase all that. And I actually do like that she gets to help kids but having her be a fairy godmother isolated her from everything she had just gone through. And then she just like... gets married. We never even got to see Ray and Nora like go on a date?? What is this the NANNY? (Sorry I just binged the Nanny and also have strong feelings about that development) 

We never actually really get to see Ray and Nora have a relationship except for like in Slay Anything but to have that one episode and then they are just like ok marriage time bby!! I feel like it is a disservice to her character because I think she still needed time to find herself. Again, SHE NEVER GOT A CHILDHOOD. Let her just like live her life for a bit. Let her have her friends. Let her have cute boyfriend/girlfriend moments!!! 

Ok so the tl;dr of THIS is: The whole post got away from me so basically it was too soon for them to get married and I wanted Nora to have more time for herself and also to ACTUALLY.DATE.RAY. Thank you.

Anyway, this is super weird considering I have a Google Doc with things I want to write for this blog, and this topic has been sitting on that doc for almost as long as I’ve watched the show….

Whatever!

So I had a few theories that I'd thought up while writing the original post as well as for this ask (those theories being calcification, fossilization, alchemy, or just straight-up magic). But as I did some research—primarily on the petrification page on the Dr. Stone Wiki (read at your own risk, there are MAJOR spoilers)—it turns out that there is a lot more to petrification than what I thought.

The first thing I'd like to mention is the chemical makeup of the stone involved with this process. The wiki says that the stone is mostly made up of "iron with trace amounts of gold. The rest is carbon and nitrogen." These two sentences completely destroy at least two of my theories.

Calcification is "a process in which calcium builds up in body tissue, causing the tissue to harden" That's about as simple as I could find, and was an explanation that I actually understood. Even though I was super excited about doing more research about this, turns out it's obsolete, considering the stone is not, in fact, made of ANY CALCIUM.

The other theory that has been destroyed was alchemy. I was super excited for this one cuz I could show off my love of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood... but that doesn't work anymore.

My main line of reasoning for this had to do with Greed's Ultimate Shield and how Edward dismantled it. When Greed shows off his Ultimate Shield to Edward he brags about its strength and Ed figures out that if he rearranges the chemical makeup of the shield—which is made of carbon—he can significantly decrease the strength. Cuz carbon can be as weak as pencil lead or as strong as literal diamonds. So I was like "hey, maybe there's some mass alchemy or something going on that hardens people's bodies into a stonelike substance." But, once again, the makeup of the stone and the human body kind of don't agree with each other. The human body (average height adult male) only has about 4 grams of iron in it. This means that Alchemy is out of the question.

After discounting two of my theories (sorry, I just wanted to share my thoughts, even though they don't really add anything to this post), the only two left are fossilization (again, I know very little) and magic. I'd much prefer science over magic, but at this point, I don't know how easy it's going to be to prove that there is ANY science involved here. Which, honestly, is a bit strange considering the entirety of Dr. Strange (at least season one, which is all I've seen up to this point) is basically a science lesson.

So let's try to prove my last theory (I don't know how well this is going to go). My last resort is fossilization. Apparently, there is a type of fossilization called petrification—which is encouraging. Petrification is a VERY long process that involves lots of decay and minerals sneaking into the body and replacing what was decayed. The fun thing is, most of the time the minerals that decide to infiltrate the body are quartz, calcite, or IRON COMPOUNDS!!!!!!

So either the bodies were fossilized (petrified) at an EXTREMELY high rate, or there's magic involved.

The bigger question is how did this actually happen. Like the process of fossilization (from what I've found) can take from 5,000 to 10,000 years. And in Dr. Stone, it happens in a matter of seconds. Something about this doesn't add up to me...

In Dr. Stone, Senku tries to figure out what the frick happened and has some of his own theories: a virus (not likely), a weapon developed by another country, or aliens. I doubt anyone on earth nowadays—or in 2019—has the technology that would allow them to forcefully petrify everyone on Earth in seconds. So honestly, it's probably aliens (starting to sound like Ryan Bergara here...)

So I've seen a couple people doing this ranking thing with Sims 4 packs and I thought I'd make one in terms of witchy gameplay, especially since some of those packs can be so useful for a fun pagan gameplay even if that's not what they're advertised for.

So I'm going to highlight my reasons for ranking the packs as above below the cut.

[Quick breakdown TL/DR, witchy-wise you got:

The litteral Seasons, Meditation Day, Witches, Outdoor Potions, Necromancy Stuff, Ocean Living with Ancestors, MOAR Familiars, Discover The Fae Cult, Eco Candlemaking, Spiritual Forest Escape, Spooky pUmPKIns, The Greek Well Garden, Get a Coven, Backyard Birds and Tumbled Adventure.

+Vampires, Country Kitchen, and Laundry Day. for a e s t h e t i c s.]

Essential:

Seasons : I'm sorry if you're pagan or a witch you need seasons in your name, literally. It adds the 4 seasons, snow, dead leaves, and on top of that it adds fully customizable Holidays, meaning you can make your own sabbaths or esbaths celebrations to put on the calendar. It also features gnomes that spawn and wait for the appropriate offering, give them the right thing and they will gift you seeds, otherwise they will be angry. They are linked to spring and are very much akin to the fae. Oh and of course, this is the best pack for gardening.

Spa Day: With that name it seems weird to put it so high but listen: Meditation, incense, and the wellness skill (developed with meditation and yoga). I use meditation as a way to have "circle" time in game (and there are meditation stool cc for that purpose!). It is for me essentially, the "ritual" interaction.

Needed per taste / path:

Realm of Magic: I almost put that one up in essentials but only a fraction can be used in a realistic way, and I'm talking about potions. The main reason this is not in essential is because you could choose either this pack or Outdoor Retreat for the "potion" feature. Anyways: this is the actual witch pack, including spells and potions in cauldron and a bunch of cool plants for gardening (and if you feel fancy you can fly on a broom). It also comes with familiars that can boost your confidence when you summon them.

Outdoor Retreat: This pack is the absolute best for more realistic potion-making but has less interesting options than Realm of Magic. Herbalism remedies they are called, though some are to help with stress and sadness or fertilizer (which can be used as a way to bless your plants). You have to collect a variety of wild herbs and bugs in order to mix your brews or you can keep the bugs as pets! How fun.

Paranormal Stuff: This newer addition to the sims is a blessing for any necromancer out there. Séances, which can be done with a séance table with a crystal ball or with a chalk circle on the ground, allow you to communicate with the dead, to appease the spirits (which can help calming and reducing ghostly activity in haunted houses), and to do a ghostly ritual which will make you a ghost for a few hours (which I like to imagine as astral travel). It features not only special interaction with basegame ghosts but also spectres, a new form of spirit which are more simple in personality and that can be appease with offerings or otherwise talked to.

Island Living: This pack is known to add a beachy world with mermaids and boats, but is also hides a very pagan tradition with the trait "child of the island" which has been called "shaman" by some, it makes your sim care about the island, its pollution state, the community events and feel a connection to the ancestors, which are spirits you can meet for wisdom. There is a drink called 'Kava', which is made in a special bowl and can be a nice thing to use as a special sabbath drink or offering. You can also collect seashells!

Got that ONE good feature:

Cats and Dogs: As the name states, it introduces Cats & Dogs and if you have Realm of Magic, your pets can be bound to you as familiars!

Discover University: As a university witch you can join the secret society which have meetings around a mushroom circle just off campus where they hang out in cloacks with the sprites and give them offerings on a stone altar for good luck and positive moods. Basically there are fae witches in University and you can be one.

Eco Lifestyle: Candlemaking! You can make your own candles! They like melt and stuff! Also for anyone interested in environment gameplay this is the pack with pollution and working as a neighbourhood to make the earth greener!

Snowy Escape: Actually this one got a few good pagan things. You can go hiking! Take a meditative walk in the woods, be inspired by nature, or walk up to the mountain shrine to make a wish and/or give an offering. You can also encounter various kinds of forest spirits on your walks and have multiple kind of interactions with them.

Spooky Stuff: Pumpkins! This pack comes with pumpkin carving and I use it every in-game Samhain.

Fun extra / could be useful

Romantic Garden Stuff: This one comes with a wishing well, give it various amounts of money (the bigger amount boost your chances of the wish coming true) and make a wish amongst the various options the game give you. Aesthetically this may be interesting for Hellenic witches who like the ancient greek vibes.

Get Together: The club system is useful for everyone and can definitly be used to make a coven.

Backyard Stuff: It comes with birdfeeders! And also windchimes and lemonade.

Jungle Adventure: This one almost went lower, but I do often use polished crystals on my altars. In basegame you have these relatively big crystal chunks but with the archeology table in jungle adventure you can polish them into smaller oval shapes, basically you can make tumbled crystals.

Just for Aesthetics

Vampires: For those of you who like the goth side of "witchy" aesthetic the Vampire pack will be good for you. One word: candlebra.

Country Kitchen Kit: My kitchen witches with country farm dreams will love the look of this small kit!

Laundry Day: Another one for some rustic fun. Don't like the washing machines? You can wash your clothes by hand! This is great with the off-the-grid lots that come with Island Living.

For the rest of the packs I couldn't think of a single witchy / pagan use to them.

This year I’m watching through all of Classic Who, so I may as well write down a few thoughts on each story as I go! This is hardly an original idea, but why not. This is a blog, I like recording my personal thoughts on here. Maybe about half a season at a time, depending on how much I have to say about each story. Don’t expect consistency from me; sometimes I may have thoughts about a story’s structure and philosophy, and sometimes I may have thoughts about how funny it is to watch or about the Dr Who EU.

The first episode still holds up as well as ever! Well, apart from that one racist line. I love how they spend an entire episode building up the characters and their conflicts without diving immediately into an adventure. I don’t really have much to say about the rest of An Unearthly Child, other than it being a neat little story, thematically. The new TARDIS crew teach people who are running on their most basic emotions how to come together to be a tribe, while they themselves are forced to learn to work together. And of course, I thought a lot about the amazing DWM comic Hunters of the Burning Stone while watching it, which I think is the story’s only EU sequel.

The Daleks still works pretty well too. Honestly, I’m not sure the Daleks themselves have ever worked better than as the inhuman survivors of a war that ended in mutually assured destruction, trapped but all-powerful in the confines of their metal city. Some of the morals of the story feel sliiiightly outdated- I’ve forgotten already, do the Tardis team actually know in episode 5 that the Daleks are going to try and kill all the Thals when they argue that the Thals have to attack the Daleks first?- but it certainly makes a lot of sense in a post World War II world. And it’s one of Doctor Who’s first stories so it’s a starting point for other stories to build on. For example, it’ll be interesting comparing it to Galaxy 4, which also has a race of “perfect” blonde humanoids and a race of sluggish traditionally-monstrous creatures, but which of them is good and which is evil is deliberately switched. Also wow, there really were a lot of ‘60s Gender Roles & Stereotypes in these stories huh. I feel like I notice them more and more the older I get.

The Edge of Destruction... doesn’t really hold up as well as its predecessors, which is a shame because I love it in theory. Pausing between adventures to focus on the characters’ relationships and mental states and grievances with each other is something I’ll always enjoy (Beautiful Freak is one of my favourite Dr Who stories ever and it runs along very similar lines). Buuuut, well, TARDIS wiki tells me Edge of Destruction was written in 2 days, which kind of shows sometimes, and Carole Ann Ford and William Hartnell sometimes don’t give the best performances. Whovians forgive me for saying such things. I don’t know if it’s the script’s fault or Ford’s or both, but Susan acting straight-up possessed always takes away from the character drama for me. It always feels like it’d work much better with Susan scared and stressed out of her mind rather than being an emotionless stabbing machine, and the same goes with Ian’s strangling cliffhanger. Oh well, I guess I can just chalk it up to the team picking up on the TARDIS’ psychic distress in very unexpected ways. Oh, and something I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Who EU pick up on is the Doctor’s line while he’s unconscious: “I can't take you back, Susan. I can't.” I just thought any glimpses of the Doctor and Susan around the time they left home is interesting, and this seems to be a direct quote from back then.

Marco Polo is fun, and I always enjoy a weeks-long odyssey as a setting for a story, double points if it’s a historical. Marco Polo really highlights how much the early seasons rely on the crew being blocked from entering the TARDIS as their motivation. This 7-episode story spends almost it’s entire runtime with Marco Polo himself working overtime to foil the crew’s plans to just walk into their ship and leave jslkjhkj. I kind of wish the early historical stories spent more time being the educational show they’re said to be these days. I love history and I always adore in New Who and the EU when the Doctor starts giving a little lecture or fun fact session about a historical figure or era. Forget the danger, what are some true facts about history! Am I the only one who always gets ideas for Dr Who historical stories that basically start out as glorified history lessons jdkslfj. Oh, and Susan and Ping-Cho really are cute together. @Who EU give us a post-Time War Susan with a wife.

The way the first few stories develop the TARDIS crew and their relationships- from antagonistic strangers to uneasy allies forged in fire to a team who genuinely appreciate each other is such a highlight of the show. Sometimes Doctor Who tries to recapture some of the magic of the first crew with four-strong main casts, but it usually seems to miss the well-written character drama that made them work so well.

1)The Cs: Chen, Cyrus Borg, Cole, and Cliff Gordon

Chen: 4/10, he’s great as a character but not so much as a father, he used Skylor as a weapon and once she was no use to him he just left her on an island without a second thought, we at least know he didn’t starve or abuse her cuz she seems to be in good health when we see her and owns a popular brand of restaurant plus he doesn’t seem like the person to do that either so he gets a few points for that

Cyrus Borg: 9/10, he’s a great father from what I remember/have seen, he lets his daughter Pixal do what she wants cuz he knows that she’s capable of defending herself and treats her as a daughter instead of just an assistant or as a thing that doesn’t have emotions, my only real nit pick here is that he doesn’t create her a new body after S4, if he knew she was alive I think he would want to make her a new body, and when we see him in S5 he doesn’t seem to be affected by the lost of his child, this would only make sense of the ninja told him that she’s in Zane’s head but then why didn’t he create her a new body? Other then that little nit pick though he’s a great father and I love his character :>

Cole: 10/10, he’s Dad Cole, what do you expect? Seriously though Cole seems like he would be a great father from what we see in S8 and S9, like the scene where Lloyd tosses Baby Wu to the ninja on the Bounty in S8 and Cole just instinctively f—king jumps off the Bounty to save Wu, he didn’t know that Jay was going to catch him so he basically was gonna sacrifice his life to make sure Baby Wu was safe, same thing with the Bounty falling from the sky into the jungle in the same season, he just ran over to Baby Wu and held him to make sure he was safe while the ship was falling from the sky, I love him :D!

Cliff Gordon: ?/10, I can’t really judge Cliff cuz we don’t know his reason for him giving Jay up for adoption or if he even knew about Jay or that he was his child in the first place

2) Dr. Julien

8/10, He obviously cares a lot about Zane based on what he does in S2 aka the only season he is in alive, though he does just leave Echo alone in the light house even when Zane says in the same episode he finds Dr. Julien “No body deserves to be in captivity, even monsters” or something similar, I couldn’t find the original quote on Google, but other then that he seems like a really really nice, good guy and good father

3)Ed and Emperor of Ninjago

Ed: 10/10 He’s one of the only parents in this this show that isn’t dead/disappears and he makes up for all the bad/absent parents in this show cuz even though he is adopted Jay’s adopted father he is one of, if not the, best parent in this show cuz he obviously cares so much for Edna and Jay and idk how to explain how much he is just such a great dad character he’s mostly jokes and caring goofy dad but he can be serious when the situation requires it shown in S6, he’s just amazing :3

Emperor of Ninjago: idc/10, I don’t really care about him much tbh, I don’t think he’s a bad character I just never really got attracted or invested in him :/

Garmadon PreS2, PostS2, and PostS8

PreS2 Garmadon: 10/10, Even if he had evil running through his veins he wouldn’t dare hurt his son and threw a Snek for even suggesting the idea

PostS2 Garmadon: 11/10, Same as PreS2 Garmadon but not evil, he’s just amazing in general, I’m sure there are entire posts on why Garmadon is an amazing character and parent so I’ll just move on

PostS8 Garmadon: 0/10, he nearly beat up his kid to death and said “I have no son” before yeeting him through several stone walls, he’s an amazing character but not the best father :’/

4) Lou, Nelson’s Dad, Ray, Skales, and Wu

Lou: 7/10 Lou cares for Cole and when Cole tells him about being a ninja he denies it not cuz he thinks it’s wrong to be a ninja, he does it cuz he doesn’t believe stealing part of his plan in any sense is good, once Cole gets the trophy without stealing it but with dancing Lou fully supports Cole being a ninja and saying he’s proud of him, he didn’t mean to be a strict/detached father to Cole after his mother’s death, it’s just the way he grieved with it, so even if he wasn’t the best father he is nowhere near the worst

Nelson’s Dad: 😈🔪/10, Went to a pizzeria to get some milk, wonder when he’s gonna come back :/

Ray: ?/10, I don’t think I can give my opinion on Ray since he was taken away from his kids when they were very young and we haven’t seen anyway fatherly scenes with him and his kids before they were kidnapped so yeah, there’s that

Skales: 🐍?/10 I love Skales as a character but same thing as Ray here too :’/

Wu: 5/10 Last time Wu tried to be a parent for a child he ended up getting self worth issues, running away, dieing trying to prove himself to be strong, and eventually becoming a evil ghost that proceeded to release the Preeminent which destroyed the city of Stixx, though I’m putting him here cuz it wasn’t intentional, unlike Chen with Skylor, and he clearly regrets what he did and wanted to help Morro recover from what happened, the only reason he didn’t was cuz Morro didn’t think he was worthy of redemption and let go of his hand
