Zaratras didn't know what he had expected as they neared Danafor. He'd heard the rumors, of course. Even in just the few days since Danafor's fall, they had already spread far and wide. Zaratras wasn't sure what to make of them; they were hard to swallow. One day, Danafor was a kingdom that rivaled Liones in power, the next a burning hole in the ground. It was hard to even imagine a destruction of that scale, capable of wiping an entire kingdom from existence. Perhaps that was what Zaratras had expected: overexaggerated rumors. Though, as he and King Bartra drew closer and closer to the fallen kingdom, the truth stared them down with unforgiving darkness.

LOOK! Look! I've started on my next Febuwhump story (finally). It's for Day 18: Can't Stay Awake. In which I take that first meeting between Zaratras (+ Bartra) and Meliodas (+ baby Elizabeth) and turn the whump dial up to 100.

Bet ya'll weren't anticipating this one, huh? Well, I've decided that Mama Liones deserved some relevance before the story, so I've actually given her a face! (unlike Nakaba)

Caroline's design is, of course, mostly based around Margaret who she shares the most likeness with. They share design similarities with clothing, like the belt and the veil, and I tried to somewhat go off of what she looked like in the brief panel we were given in the manga. She's not in anything as regal as Margaret mostly because she was a Queen Consort rather than an heir to the throne, but I still wanted to have her look the part of royalty. The color purple is often associated with royalty and wealth, and the black and yellow are good complimentary colors that keep with the sophistication around her and the light brought to the kingdom and the family. It took me a while to figure out the design for her crown, too, but I like how it turned out.

Obviously, Caroline is dead in canon, but she was still around before the whole treason thing happened. She never had much of a presence before, aside from being mentioned once by Elizabeth and apparently dying in an event that was completely irrelevant to the story. We're changing that this time around, allowing her to be more important to the Kingdom back in the day and more important to her daughters in the present day since they lost her the same day Zaratras was murdered.

In my mind, while Bartra is the one on the throne and who the people look to for guidance, Caroline was largely most of the power behind the throne. She would've been the one who gave the Sins a lot of their missions while Bartra was busy with other official matters, and she would also be the one to communicate and grow alliances with other kingdoms and possibly even other Clans; her loss would've likely been felt across the country, and the relations between Liones and other kingdoms could've possibly deteriorated and never be the same.

Caroline just means a lot to me, and I want her to have a legacy in the story and to be loved by her family, no matter how young the girls were when she died.

“What are you doing?” Tristan asks, tilting his head with a small smile.

He found you crouched down on the ground, seemingly trying as if you were wanting to pet something. Angling his head around your shoulder, he froze mid-way when you spoke: “I want to pet this little baby frog, but it keeps growling at me for some reason.”

Tristan’s hand slapped down on your right shoulder, firmly tugging you away from the creature. As you were about to ask why he had done that—“It is a poisonous frog.” He says, then gestures at the pattern it bores. Spotted black dots inlaid upon the green skin. “You don’t want to touch those.”

You blinked for a few moments in confusion, searching his face for any hint of lying. But he truly wasn’t, turning your gaze back to the creature, who was just sitting there and staring at the both of you. It made sense now, you guessed, it was his exact description. You let out a noise of laughter, shaking your head now in understanding. Lucky enough that Tristan had caught you out of your wits when he did, “Well, I guess you managed to catch me before I made a mistake.”

He huffs with an exasperated sigh, but a small smile soon returned to his face, as he couldn’t be far too angry with you for long.

It was a common practice between the both of you, as many times over he had found that you were overly curious — finding things that may as well been the death of you had he not pulled you out of it in time. He loved you with his heart, but you sincerely were going to give him grey hairs. Not the silvery white he had already. The kind of grey hairs his grandfather Bartra had.

So this is completely outta no where and feel free to ignore this but- In the scenario that Nadja didnt pass away from her disease and her and Gowthers relationship was able to grow from that passionate night- where do you think things would've gone from that point?

-I fear he wouldn’t have an actual sin to have joined the seven deadly sins with due to her not dying but he knew Merlin and Meliodas so maybe they would’ve just had him on the team!

-Gowther wouldn’t have lost his emotions and he would be a ball of energy in the team!!! always happy to help and fight for them!!! Always willing to listen to anyone who needs help

-He had the time to properly emotionally mature and understand humans

-He always invites Nadja to their pub sessions after battle and he’s like “Hey guys this is my partner :D” and they’re like ‘how did he bag a fucking princess?’

-They get married!!!

-She’s always super worried about him when he goes off to battle and if he’s away for a long time she’ll send him letters in the post and they’ll write to each other

-She was 16 when she passed away and that was like 45 years before the main plot. She would be an old lady bless her. I like to imagine she would make things for the sins when they visit the castle

-Perhaps she is still too weak to run the country hence why Bartra took over instead

-During the point where they were traitors she had no contact with Gowther since she didn’t know where he was to send him post. He was able to disguise himself and sneak into Liones a few times to visit her but this would only be at least once a year. She would be taking care of the ill Bartra at this point too.

-She helps her niece Elizabeth escape the castle and go get help from the sins!!!

-She would be an amazing auntie!!! Due to the princess’s mother passing away she would be a de facto mother figure to them, having girl talks and ensuring they’re ok!!!

-Gowther is also an amazing uncle to the princesses before he gets exiled. He was always reading to them.

-When the sins manage to clear their name they spend so much time together to make up for the time they lost!!!

-Gowther adores how she is aging and thinks she is aging beautifully, however he fears the day she passes because he doesn’t want to live without her

once there was a kingdom called yokonekoma, the land of the great felines. this kingdom was populated by cat-human hybrids with extraordinary abilities such as turning into any type of cat, wild cats included. the princess of the land, [name], was known far and wide as one of the greatest the land had ever seen. she was great to her subjects and protected them even if it cost her her very own life. but one day, the kingdom of yokonekoma was destroyed during the great holy war thousands of years ago in the great battle of toko where the princess was present.

princess [name] watched her subjects get slaughtered by the great powers of the underworld and being able to do nothing of it. once the goddess' and other light powers fought back against the demons in utter victory, princess [name] was the only one of her kingdom to survive. in distraught of not only losing her kingdom but also all of her loyal subjects, princess [name] went into hiding, wandering the lands of britannia convinced that she herself was the sole reason such destruction had caught her kingdom in such a vulnerable situation. 

hundreds of years later, [name's] wandering lead her to stumble upon liones citizens who had believed she had committed the massacre onto her kingdom. as a result, she was charged with murder and brought before the king of liones, king bartra in his prime. even with the charges against her, king bartra believed that princess [name] did nothing of the sort, that it was all a misunderstanding. with this, he made an agreement with the princess, if she had no place to reside she could become a holy knight for his country and if she wished not to he'd let her leave.

since she had already struggled with the burden of being alone for hundreds of years, princess [name] accepted the offer from king bartra and became the infamous lady [name].

when the seven deadly sins came into establishment as protectors of the kingdom of liones, the general public public believed that lady [name] should've been included as the hidden sin of deceit all because they believed she was the reason for her country's fall. and thus lady [name] became the false sin, the sin of deceit. 

just as all the other sins, lady [name] went into hiding after the seven deadly sins were accused of treason against the kingdom of liones. 

this is the story of how the great lady [name] adventured with the third princess of liones and the seven deadly sins to save the world of britannia from the absolutely evil of the underworld.

Retconning a older idea, Bartra gathers the sins, commandments, and the archangels and makes them run a gas station. There's obviously a barrier that limits their power to a certain extent, so they won't destroy the place in minutes. But the price is more chaos than Arthur could ever dare to dish out-

The fifth package of red bull has been drained because everyone has drank 6-10 cans max, Galand has drank all the alcohol is passed out in the back dumpster. Meliodas poisoned 3 people because he was in charge of cooking & sampling new foods they could sell (everyone forgot he was banned from the kitchen), Escanor got trapped in the freezer, Zeldris is dealing with Karens at the cashier while being the only one there. Sariel tripped off the stool and has knocked over the entire bread shelf, Tarmiel is forced back into a human vessel because he scares customers away more than anything. Monspeet uniform is too tight on the chest and one wrong move will send the only button left flying. Derieri gave up on her job realizing that this godforsaken gas station is just a circus.

But isn't it entraining for anyone in Britannia & the people of Liones who dares step in? Hell yea

Okay, so I watched a "Hear from the Heroes" video on Lysithea, and…I'm not really sure what to say about this. Yamato never talks about his parents, nor does he know them. His human father died to Infinite's attack, his saiyan mother took him to Liones, left him there to keep him safe, he got adopted by Meliodas and Elizabeth, and taken in as Bartra's son, making him the prince.

Looking at this dialogue from Lysithea of all people, I feel bad. My Summoner just doesn't have the courage to talk about his parents. Or rather…

the adoptive siblings whom he viewed as his parents.😢
