this is a bit of an ask inspired by another ask (and also ridiculously silly) but what’s the boys’ relationship with penny like in the future?? i loved the little snippet of her at bradley’s wedding and ice trying to figure out if she’s a threat or not (and then maverick coming back from dancing and saying he couldn’t stop gushing over ice….ugh!!!) but do they become good solid friends? I like the idea of them expanding their circle now that they can trust more people…even if one of those people are one of maverick’s exes

additionally: do her and ice ever talk about their shared experiences (not sex, ice would probably keel over and die, but just…having a relationship with mav)? the thought of penny cornering him is ridiculously funny to me. or maybe they never reach that point of comfort 🤷‍♀️ i just need to know if she ever takes them both sailing and ice gets a chance to laugh at mav on a boat

[also, in all sincerity, I have an unhealthy amount of things to say about this series and I’m a bit sad it’s over, but I love everything you’ve done <3 I could compliment it for days on end and probably never run out of things to say]

thinking about the time when i was 19 at a bar and the bartender knew i was underage, but asked me what i’d have if i was going to drink, so i told him i like vodka crans and we chatted and then a way older guy who also worked at that bar but was off that night and simply getting absolutely sloshed in his own establishment slid up next to me far too close and said he wanted to buy me a drink, to which the bartender looked at him, then looked at me and said “vodka cran?” and i was like eye twitch… yes pls… older dude ended up buying me like 5 drinks and slid $80 into my shorts (like up my fucking pant leg, so fully pressed it into my thigh) and the bartender almost fought him bc he was being a touchy creep !

ANYWAY… bartender!patrick… knowing you’re too young and getting aggressive with creeps despite very very much wanting to creep on you himself… thinking…

I know it's just what the slaver enemy type is programmed to say, but I have very strong feelings about the ones during A Bitter Pill telling the others to "keep the pretty ones alive."

Like. If you're Fenris, already at your limit in what you can handle emotionally today, and you hear the ones who'd drag you back to a fate worse than death saying that about the few friends you've managed to cobble together in your sparse years of freedom...man. I've been thinking about this for days and I don't have any sort of conclusion here.

really, shout out to barrett doss's performance as rita in groundhog day the musical. rita has to serve the role of the optimist in the narrative, and I do get that from her, but her rita is also snarky and weathered instead of just bouncy and cheery. her joy is not childlike or giddy, it's the joy of someone who has had some Experiences and meets reality where it is, but still looks for and appreciates everywhere reality is doing her favors. it's not a flavor of character I see very often barrett pulled it off really nicely.

There was a post I saw about someone who mutually ghosted a guy after a date and kept matching with him and they're not interested but it's the longest "relationship" the person had been in at that point and I'm like. Karen would mutually ghost someone.

She doesn't really tell Brent/Right/Evelyn/Chris his name (he has a double first name, Patrick is not his last name) and just refers to him as "My Guy". Like "Ah damn, My Guy matched again. End my suffering." And when she tries to explain it to Right who does NOT understand how it's different, her logical answer is "it's my God given right to ghost a polite man!"

Also I just imagine her confiding in Paul about Rick and he's like "is his name Patrick" and she's like "kinda". And after that, Paul calls him "Pattycakes" cause he's never even seen the guy so why not give him a funny little nickname. He's allowed to do so at this point probably.
