In Hermitphibia, the episode where Anne and Sprig get cursed would end way quicker because Scar would just give them some milk.

Unfortunately for them, the Wartwood Gang (Anne, the Plantars & False, & later also Grian) don't run into Scar til the Season 1 finale, as he's with Sasha at South Tower.

Still, that doesn't mean this episode's completely without note. False - like most "players" - knows that trick as well. Amphibian curses aren't necessary the same as status effects or the like, though, so milk isn't a surefire solution (though she tries it & panics a little when it doesn't work).

Thankfully, though, things don't progress quite as far with the curse as they did in canon.

Mostly as Maddie - with False's help - hunts down & confronts Barry far sooner, & once the guy's incapacitated... False is far less forgiving than Anne would be.

"Scar and Cub would horrified by you."

It takes more than just candy to make her back down.

Chapter 69: Domino’s Mate

Lily meets little Efty and Doris at the shelter. Then her aunt has an interesting proposition that Lily can’t refuse.

When Sasha, Anne and Sprig meet a strange kill-a-moth, its discovered that he isn’t possessed like the other creatures. But Domino takes an instant liking to the black kill-a-moth. But Sasha soon finds a giant bulldozing machine that is tearing the land up along with Mr X, Jenny, and Barry. The kill-a-moth helps Sasha and the group in shutting the machines down.

(And the black kill-a-moth is based off of my own cat. Just like how Domino is based off of Matt’s cat)
